Requested by anon: May I please request part 2 of bts headcanons? when they try to get close to their crush (like hug her, wrap their arms around her shoulder etc.) their crush's niece or nephew (18 month old) won't let them. The baby is really possessive of their aunt and doesn't like anyone touching her.

A/n: for once i feel like i'm a little bit ahead and being rather productive, but i sill feel very much behind on writing.... anyways i have a funny story to tell that connects to this request. we've all heard about my story thinking my cousin's pregnant wife was fat because she hadn't gone to the bathroom in days right (if not i will find the story later). well that cousin has a younger brother to whom my late aunt is a godparent. every year for my aunt's birthday he would give her a hug and every year my younger brother would fight him for it because he didn't like other people hugging my aunt. he was very jealous and possessive. little ramble, but reminded me of this little memory. happy reading! also for the sake of the this reaction, the situations take place short after the each member is introduced to the niece/nephew from the previous reactions which can be found on the main BTS masterlist.

He’d heard you talk so much about the boy and the aunt-nephew bond the two of you have this is so special to you

With how important you’ve said he is to you

I am new kaisoo Supporter.

I am very logical person & I don't get convinced easily. After I saw almost all theories and analysis.

Kaisoo Supporters have always presented theories and analysis without any fake scenarios.

It was all based on true events & moments.

That's make them "real" than any other "ships created for entrainment purpose only."

That's why they are getting new Supporters.

Because to consider them real you have to keep your homophobia aside and your eyes and brain open.

I found my self doubting sometimes to but i seen some unexplainable things from them that no other ships have done it made me support them more i really hope their relationship can make it through all the trials and tribulations they faced and will have to face im shocked a whole 10 year relationship under all their circumstances not even supposed straight industry relationships can do that hopefully they can live there truth one day

How they always mentioned themselves as the members who got the closest after a short time but, at the same time, they never openly said they were like brothers or best friends (JI’s besties are Ta*min and Moo*kyu);

They hanging out at Valentine’s day only the two of them???? In the evening???????;

*Narrative of Born in the U.S.A.*

In this entry, I will examine the critical questions: What central narrative does this artifact tell through its rhetorical elements? In doing so, what values does it promote and ignore (who does it include and exclude)? In which ways is this narrative (ethically) productive for society, in which ways is it limiting, and is it more productive or limiting?

To investigate these questions, I examined the song “Born in the USA” by Bruce Springsteen as my rhetorical artifact. The song shares a critical narrative about how Vietnam War veterans were treated after they returned home. While the song was ethically productive it was widely misunderstood.

The song “Born in the U.S.A.” was released in 1984 by Bruce Springsteen as the lead song on his “Born in the U.S.A.” album. Springsteen’s song came into the world 9 years after the Vietnam War had ended, and while President Ronald Regan was in office. Though the song was released nine years after the end of the Vietnam war, the repercussions of the polarizing war were still lingering. The song became a leading hit off the album and onto America’s radios. The song's popularity soared but the public didn’t seem to understand the message behind the lyrics. 

Palczewski, Ice, and Fritch (2012) explain that narratives are not the events themselves but stories we create about the event. The narratives we create around the event help us remember it. These narratives become our memories and two narratives from two different people from the same event do not have to be the same. Palczewski, Ice, and Fritch state that narratives “make sense of events of your life by placing them in relation to one another” (120). Foss (2004) explains narrative criticism and gives a step-by-step guide to analysis. These steps include identifying the setting, characters, and narrator of the rhetorical artifact. Along with identifying the main parts of the narrative you must also look deeper into the relations of the narrative. 

The Narrative in the song “Born In the U.S.A” is critical towards how Vietnam war veterans were treated when they returned home. This narrative is made evident through the lyrics to the 1984 hit. Springsteen is known for his lyrics and how they often tell a story, this story begins by describing a man coming back to his hometown unsuccessfully. After the first chorus we learn more about where the man was before he came home, the lyrics say “they put a rifle in my hand, Sent me off to a foreign land, To go and kill the yellow man” (Springsteen 1:04). These lyrics tell the story of a man who was sent to war and now he has returned home. Due to the time the song was released and considering the lyric “go and kill the yellow man” it is clear that the war Springsteen is speaking of is the Vietnam War. The simplification of war in this quote demonstrates the narrator’s feelings about the war, to the narrator the war was about killing yellow men. The song jumps back to the man in his hometown after the war. The man is now being denied for a job at a refinery then is denied once again when the “V.A. man, He said, ‘Son, don't you understand?’” (1:37). Not only has the Veteran in our story been sent to war, once he got back he couldn’t even get his old job back. When the veteran seeks help from the V.A. man he also cannot help him with a job. After the chorus the story continues chronicling the war and the relational ties with Vietnam and other Vietnam War veterans .Lastly, the man is now forced to deal with the situation he has been put in. The last stanza of lyrics before a three time reprised chorus says “I'm ten years burning down the road, I've got nowhere to run and nowhere to go” (2:34). These lyrics show that the man is stuck and that it has been years and he is still stuck. The reprising chorus comes in to remind us this man was “Born in the U.S.A”. While this statement of being born in the U.S.A may seem like something the man is proud of because it is re-stated so many times when considering the narrative laid out, It is clear the man is actually calling the U.S.A. out because they caused his problems. 

The Narrative in the song “Born In the U.S.A” is critical towards how Vietnam war veterans were treated when they returned home, This narrative is ethically productive however it is commonly misunderstood. The narrative is productive because it criticizes the U.S.A. and its treatment of the people who fought for our country. While the war was going on it was not uncommon to criticize the reasoning behind it. This song brings back those original critiques and adds to them almost ten years later. It is important for people to question their country and their motives for going to war. While this narrative is ethically productive it was commonly misunderstood, making it not completely productive practically. To the individuals that looked deeper into the song and read the lyrics it worked. For the people who just heard the song on the radio and did not think about anything but the upbeat tone to the song, it was misunderstood as a celebration of the U.S.A.. While the song is critical in it’s lyrics, that doesn’t necessarily mean it to be for haters of the U.S.A. only. It is possible to take this critique and still be patriotic, a true patriot should critique the country they love. However, to some people protesting war is extremely unpatriotic. 

Gustainis and Hahn chronicle some other rhetorical examples of anti-war protest. These examples come from a time during the Vietnam war. Much of the reasoning behind why so many Vietnam Anti-War protests were taken as a failure rhetorically was because of the approach by protesters. Many protestors failed to take into consideration their audience who was mostly conservative. Gustainis and Hahn cite the use of obscenity and desecration of the flag as some of the protesters' big mistakes. On the use of obscenity Gustainis and Hahn state “the use of public obscenity alienates and digusts many American citizens'' (209). The use of actions many conservative American’s would find offensive or distasteful is not an effective way to get a point across rhetorically. When applying this thinking to the rhetorical artifact “Born in the U.S.A.” it is evident that Springsteen’s language was chosen to reflect a common way of speaking and does not use obscenity to call out the U.S.A.. Springsteen effectively used his language to create a narrative that told a story of a man beaten down by the war. A story is a far more effective tool for an anti-war protest. 

In summary, the narrative found in the song “Born in the U.S.A.” proves itself to be critical of how Vietnam war veterans were treated when they came home, especially when an analysis of the lyrics is done. The narrative is ethically productive in it’s critique of the country even though it can be misunderstood.

Here Y’all go, my in-depth description of “Skool Luv Affair” By BTS.

Skool Luv Affair: The Intro on this album, “Intro: Skool Luv Affair”, is about “Bangtan’s style” and how Bangtan’s style is hip hop. At first the song starts off kind of slow, more of an R&B style type of song. Yoongi talks about a lot of firsts, which could refers to his song, “First Love”. Yoongi then brings back the thought of money bringing you happiness with the line “A good house, a good car, those things can’t be/Happiness but I want to give it to you” Which the last part of that line could be referring to Outro: Propose, with is the Outro on “Skool Luv Affair”. J-hope stops the music saying that love should be hopeful, saying that this is a “love stage” for both him and his “girl” and how they are both blinded by love. Yoongi then stops the music saying that Hoseok is right, that love should be hopeful. Namjoon steps in saying that life can’t always be hopeful, and that this is not Bangtan’s style, and that Bangtan’s style is hip-hop. He then goes on to say that this is his way of thinking or his “ideology” and how love is all the same for everyone. He talks about how she can go “back to that bastard who makes her cry” and says how that's how love is. The whole rap line goes to say that this is Bangtan’s style- hip hop

“Boy in Luv” is the main track of this album, goes back to the sad love story we left off, but it seems to have taken us BACK IN TIME , to when he was trying to ask the girl out, saying how he wants to be her oppa, which is what you would call your brother or older boyfriend, if you were a girl in South Korea. The song goes on to talk about how badly he wants her, even if she treats him wrong. Throughout the song, the boys ask if this is what she really wants, for him not to love her anymore.

“Where Did You Come From?” is about basically asking everything about this girl, in the attempt to get to know her better. Yoongi starts off this song, talking about how he wants to go get coffee with this girl, and how he’s older than her. Hoseok goes on to talk about how she’s pretty and how she could be taken away from him, so he better make a move fast. In the chorus, the vocal line asks where this girl came from, and asking for her name. The song then goes on in the hook to talk about how he’s from Busan, and she’s from Gwangju, and how everyone is in love, all across South Korea. We come back to Yoongi, and he rambles on about how he is mad, because she likes some other guy that is not worthy in his eyes. Hoseok comes back to say that this girl is giving him anxiety and then the girl tells him that she likes him. The question then comes back up again, “where are you from”. Namjoon then comes in to say that he has fallen in love with this girl, and that it's definitely love.  

The next lead song on the album, “Just One Day” is about having just one day with someone. Yoongi starts off this song, saying that if he had just one day to spend with this girl, he would spend time with her, like how he would “want to peacefully fall asleep intoxicated with your sweet scent” and “I want to put my body in your warm and deep eyes”. In the chorus, the vocal line goes on to say that they want “Just one day” with this girl. Namjoon then talks about what he would do if he had just one day with this girl. He would go anywhere she wanted, and do anything she wanted. We then in the final verse, move on to Hoseok, who describes the day from top to bottom, day to night, from just waking the girl up to a kiss to a confession under the moonlight. Namjoon ends the song, asking the girl to please stay with him.

Now we move on to out next song, “Tomorrow”. In this song, Yoongi starts off by saying that every moment REPEATS, 24/7. He feels as if he’s just copying and pasting his days, over and over again. Taehyung goes on to talk about how he has this long road ahead of him, yet he’s staying in one place, and how he’s screaming out his frustrations and hoping for a better tomorrow. Jungkook in the pre-chorus says that you should follow your dreams, and “Even if it breaks down, don't ever run backwards, never”, which what he’s trying to say is to not look back on a place you failed, and to have more of a “keep moving forward” attitude. Jin then goes to reference Jungkook’s solo song on “Wings”, “Begin”, which really, his saying at the beginning, is a quote from this song, not the other way around, due to the fact that “Wings” hadn’t came out yet. Anyways back to Jin and Jungkook, they say that it's always the worst before the good times, and that you should never forget now self, even in the future. Jungkook goes on to say that you should never get too far away from the path that your on. Namjoon then compares life to a maze, with all of it's ups and downs, and twists and turns. He talks about how today will become yesterday, and tomorrow today. Hoseok comes on in the bridge, saying that they are too young to stop doing what they’re doing, and how new doors will open for you if you keep going. This song is really inspirational and it gives off a very go-getter vibe.

On this album, we return to the cypher series, with “BTS Cypher Pt.2:Triptych”. The name really fits the song, because throughout the song, Hoseok continuously talks about how this is all because of Bangtan, and if you took one out of Bangtan, there would be no Bangtan. He talks about how people who lead the Kpop industry now are starting to play and mess around, but BTS isn’t. They keep going forward and never stop. He says that they don't need long explanations, they should just explain it with a rap. Namjoon starts the second verse, saying that he is psycho when it comes to rapping, and that he’s better than his haters. His verse talks about him comparing himself to this other person, and how this person should be restricted from rapping. Yoongi’s verse goes on to talk about how this person is so bad at rapping, it makes him sick. This song is honestly, very arrogant.

Anyways, the next song “Spine Breaker”  talks about what it's like in the Korean culture. Yoongi first talks about how other people have all of this stuff, to make them feel good about themselves, and that this person wants them too. He talks about this century’s class is divided into two, ones who have things, and the ones who don't. He also says that there are people who try hard to get these things. Yoongi then goes on to say that this jealous kid cares more about his or her appearance rather than their parents  saying “Even after seeing your parents’ curved spines, you’re so coldhearted /You complain that all your friends have it and that they should buy it for you due to the fact that they are filled up with greed”, which leads into the chorus, Jungkook and Taehyung saying that putting on this person’s dirty clothes feels good, which I personally think that it means that it feels good to step into their shoes for a second, not necessarily putting on literal dirty clothes, but putting on their clothes, which are expensive, while their parents are hurting, calling them a “spine breaker”. Namjoon goes on to talk about how he’s not a spine breaker like them, due to the fact that even though he has expensive things, he worked for them, not asking his parents for the money, like the person does. I think that “spine breaker” means that you ask for money and you make people broke I guess. Man I’m bad at this. Anyway, Hoseok comes on in the bridge, talking about how everyone has done this, and how everyone has to look up to him, due to the fact that he apparently so tall. He says that they can keep doing what they’re doing, but asks what they’re going to do about their parents. The song ends with them all saying “Them **** spine breakers”

The last song on the album, “JUMP” is about dreaming and throwing worries away. The song starts off with the chorus and the hook, the whole group saying to all the dreamers to put there hands up and basically “jump” to this song. Yoongi goes on in the first verse to talk about how when they were little kids, they wanted to become superheroes, but now that they are adults, he wants to rewind, back to the times when he was little and he “sang the theme song to his favorite superhero comic”, and when he tries to go back, nothing happens. Taehyung comes on also, saying that he will keep trying, and that you only live once. He says that even if he only lives for a day, he won’t regret anything. Hoseok and Namjoon comes on in the second verse, Hoseok saying that his life changed in 2007, when he was thirteen, and that he hasn’t sung since then. Now he compares himself to Michael Jordan, when he goes on stage. Namjoon then comes on, saying that when he was a child, he was impatient to be an adult, and says that each day was filled with joy. Namjoon and Yoongi then come on in the bridge to end out the song, they say that they are heroes and how when they jump on stage, they become next generation heroes. Namjoon says that they were once immature, but now, they need a place to jump, which is the stage. He says that it's time to spread his wings and go. This song is a very inspirational song, about how you should try to be a hero, but in your own way.  We then move on to the Outro on this album “Outro: Propose”, talks alot, like alot about how he’s going to be “good to you”, saying that the way he first saw her is the way he will remember her forever. It’s a really sweet song, sang by the vocal line.

Discussion and Story Time: What is your Jonerys/GoT backstory?

When, how and why did you get into the fandom and ship?

This is mine. Please allow for my essay to commence:

Intro to Game of Thrones

I first learned about GoT in 2010. I didn't know anything about the story other than it seemed like my kind of thing (medieval, accents, murder, etc.). Oddly enough, my interest started when I was doing fancasts for The Hunger Games on a message board. I thought Isaac was a girl when I saw the pic of him with an bow and said, "She'd be a decent Katniss". Realized that "Actually, no... but who is that dark-haired beauty next to him? Gale?" It was Kit. Kit HarRington back then because IMDb and everywhere was misspelling his name. Only three pictures of Kit existed on the internet at that time, but I remembered thinking "He looks a little small for Gale, but I'd tap it for sure."

Side Note: This was also back when Tamzin Merchant, whom I recognized from Pride & Prejudice, was listed as Daenerys.

But at the time I didn't have HBO, so I kind of put it out of my mind.

Fast forward to April/May 2011, I was working on The Hunger Games movie in NC and was staying in a hotel one night. Game of Thrones came on and I was like "Hell yeah! It's that show with that guy!" First episode I saw was the tourney where the Mountain beheaded his horse. I was like "Wha... WHAT THE FUCK AM I WATCHING?!" and continued watching. It only showed up to episode 8 that night, but it stuck with me. Still, I didn't pick it back up again later until that summer, SDCC 2011.

Intro to Jonerys

So, SDCC 2011 was a major turning point. I was following SDCC that year coverage in hopes of more THG stuff and GoT popped up. I was like "There it is again!" It just kept coming back and pulling me in. If you remember that was its first SDCC appearance and Kit, Emilia, Lena, Peter, Nikolaj, Jason, etc. were there.

I was thrist-watching interviews with Kit which at the time always coincided with Emilia's interviews. So, while I was learning all about my new boo thang, I was getting introduced to the adorable little bean that is Emilia Clarke. For what little info there was about Kit, amplify that secrecy by 20 for Emilia.

Does anyone remember when no one knew when her birthday was or how old she was? May or April, 1st or 7th or 28th, 1986 or 87 or 90. No one knew for an oddly long time. We were all ass wrong btw.

Side Note: Word of the IMDb boards was that Kit was there with his dark-haired girlfriend. I admittedly initially thought that was Emilia. It wasn't. It was Heather (? Hannah? Something with an H).

Anyway, their interactions were absolutely adorable. So much so that I hadn't realized that their characters didn't know each other. I hadn't seen the full season by then so I didn't know if they met in the last two eps. I just knew that their actors were absolutely beautiful and really cute together. So I peaked around the interwebz:

"Do they fuck," I asked with sophistication and class.

It was a bit of a question mark back then, but the general concensus was "No." Then I asked the real, pivotal question:

"Do their characters fuck?"

And with that question, I was led into the abyss that was Jonerys (simply Jon x Daenerys then). To call it a rabbit hole is an understatement. This was a black hole. A void. I fell into nearly 20 years of theories, backstories, book quotes, prophecies, R+L=J, Targcest. It was the wildest ride ever, and I emerged from the other side bald and foaming at the mouth. But, all I knew was that I was all in. These ice and fire assholes were going to be in love and by George(R. R. Martin) everyone was going to hear about it from me.

Just imagine me knocking on your door with a pamphlet asking "Do you have time to talk about our Azor Ahai, Jonerys?" I was hooked. I skipped classes to read/watch GoT. I read all the books. All the Wiki pages and message boards. Got my mom invested in it so much so that we bought HBO solely for GoT season 2. I came on here yelling about my love of it and made some friends that way. One of my buddies and I spent years trying to make our Jonerys ship name "SnowStorm" happen on Tumblr. So I was very pleased when it took off after all that time. The ship was more than pretty actors to me. It actually made perfect literary sense in its own.

I helped fight off the naysayers and haters (which were mostly Stannis fanboys then). I watched fan videos and scraped up whatever little morsels of good ship content were given. All while being told "That pairing ain't gonna happen. You guys are all just crazy. They won't even meet." All while knowing that someday, somehow this damned ship of mine would feed me, and I would feast in abundance (and drink the haters' tears).

So, seeing how mainstream and CANON it is now is just so gratifying. I don't fight the haters anymore, because I'm retired. I spend my days drinking up boatsex, dreaming of Targ babies and remembering back when all of that was simply written off as the far-fetched nonsense of "crazy fangirls."

a) Who will die first?

If one of them is gonna die, then I’m guessing that it’ll be Dany. I don’t know if they’ll make Jon die twice!

b) Who loves who more than the other?

Well, judging by the looks they gave each other all season, they both clearly fell for each other ages ago and are both as deeply in love as the other.

c) Will anyone of them sit the Iron Throne?

If the Iron Throne even survives, then I am positive that they will rule together. So unless one of the sits on the other’s lap (smutty fanfic inspiration anyone?) then I'm sure they will have their own thrones made (which would be pretty cool!)

d) Will they marry?

Of course!

e) Will they have a child?

f) How will Daenerys react to Jon being her nephew?

It won’t bother her that much, as she grew up thinking that she would marry Viserys. 

g) How will Daenerys find out?

Westerosi Wikipedia, aka Bran Stark (Can you tell that I’m still salty about D&Ds direction with Bran?) 

h) How will Jon’s siblings treat Daenerys?

I imagine that while they will be initially be distrustful of her(being a Targaryen) they will begin to warm to her, like Jon did. I imagine that both Arya and Sansa especially will be close to her, as they could sympathise with her in the struggles that she has gone through.  

i) Will Jon find out Daenerys is pregnant before he finds out they are related?

I’m torn on this, as I can see it going either way tbh. But either way, Jon’s honor, his love for Dany and his desire for his child to not be a bastard will keep them both together

j) Will they both survive?

God I hope so! I dunno if I could handle both of my favorite characters dying

k) How will they die, if they were to die?

Dany: More than likely it will be with the Nissa Nissa route if they decide to go for it (which I really hope not)

Jon: Dying in combat with the Night King

l) Will Daenerys rival Jon for the throne?

Fuck no!

m) What do they have in common?

How long do you have? The short version: their compassion, their desire to make the world a better place for their subjects, their outsider status while growing up, their parallels as potential Azor Ahai.  

n) What will their first real argument be like?

It will likely be over battle strategy, with Jon probably suggesting that he go on another potential suicide mission. Dany will appeal to his sense of self preservation, while also mentioning their child, while Jon will be his usual moping self 

o) What will happen if they were to break up ? 

Jon would probably brood around Winterfell, while thinking up some stupid mission to go to distract himself, while Dany would be trying to smack some sense into him

p) Who will wear the pants in the relationship?

I don't think either of them will do, as I have always seen them as being presented as equals

q) Will their relationship be boring?

Errr.... nooooo.

r) Who will be more jealous or emotional insecure?

Jon definitely!

s) Will they still be together after they find out they are related?

Yes. As I said Jon’s love for Dany and his child, as well as his fear since his teens of fathering a bastard child will win out over his identity crisis over his parentage asm despite what the haters want, Jon will NOT abandon the mother of his child.

t) Will they publicly express their emotions?

God I hope so. It would be so great to see the salty looks on the faces of the Northern lords, many of whom will have wanted to set up their daughters as a match for the KitN. Serve them right for turning their backs on Jon ten minutes after he left!

u) Will they have more sexy time at Winterfell?

Yes! On every available surface.

v) If they were to marry, where would Jon propose?

I have three possible headcanons. 

1) In the godswood

2) On the Winterfell batttlements where Dany goes to find him after he has been brooding over his parentage (not knowing that he has gotten over it)

3) On the battlefield after he has believed Dany is dead

(They’re a bit cliche I know, but sue me!)

x) If they had a child, what will it be called?

Daeron for a boy and Rhaenyra for a girl

y) If Jon made Daenerys choose between him and power, what will she want more?

Jon. Her desire for the Iron Throne is based on the fact that it was her family’s throne, and she craves a connection to her family. Jon, as both her nephew and the potential (but likely) father of her child) is her best hope of that.

z) What is their bitter sweet ending?

After the war, where they are both weary from the fighting, they have to retain control of the throne, to make sure that the people of Westeros have the best chance of recovery. Despite all of the losses that they have both suffered, losing many friends and loved ones along the way, they put their own wants and desires to one side, as they have both done before. However they do so, knowing that they are together and have their remaining family and friends alongside them.  (Sorry, I’m not great at bittersweet, I like happy endings!)

Who’s gonna have a super duper happy Christmas? Us!!!!!

Boys & Gals, remember when Kuya effortlessly dragged us back home to his house again early this year? Ohnoes. Our dark circles came back and trip to ubusan ng load started all over again but come on, no one would dare say that their comeback was pointless. LET's GO DREAM TEAM, LET's GO! Nostalgic, isn't it? We thought we're already done with reality TV stuff but when McCoy and Elisse returned inside Kuya's house, kirehan officially resumed and they got everyone singing O Pag-ibig again.

Everything felt familiar as if they never left.  Kuya aka Manager must've missed them big time like how most viewers did. 2017 welcomed us with a lot of pivotal points, major revelations and memorable moments. M-C-E-J-D, Cheerdance task, McCoy's birthday, Titig ng Pag-ibig, Kim x Alec, Disneyland adventure, workshops, breakdowns and of course, THE LONG & TIGHT HUG. Yes, McLisse, you know we won't be able to forget these moments until we're 85, right? The months have passed by so quickly, can you believe we're almost done with 2017? Elisse's birthday is just around the corner but here we are still squealing about the blindfolded big PINK bear!

H - anep! KINAYA.

So, we got the Tuloy Pa Rin TVC Part 2. We also got the FULL version of the hit jingle, Tuloy Pa Rin. Waaaaaaah! Crazy, right? The McSpicy TVC last year was just an ice breaker. A bonggang appetizer. McDo gave us the sequel we've imagined and it came straight to us without any warning.

Kaya niya, Kaya mo. The slogan was too powerful to be overlooked. #Relate Kinaya nila, kinaya natin!

R - ecording artists!

HOT & FRESH. The McLisse Album is still a hot topic these days. Have you ever find yourself staring at the ceiling, thinking deeply about how lucky Mc & Lisse are for recording an album they can fully call their own? As in... MCLISSE Album. Loveteams don't usually appear in album covers unless it's for a soundtrack album but there goes McLisse, making waves through an album that is headlined by the two of them.

Thank you Star Music. Thank you isn't enough, really. McLisse album is really one of the FIRSTs that we will never ever forget. Christmas is here, you better wrap an album for a friend and save a lonely heart this season!

I - SANG TAON NG PAGMAMAHALAN.

IT. HAPPENED. THIS. YEAR. Will we ever get over our first year anniversary? No, never. The color Red triggers a lot of priceless memories and one of them is the McLisse Royal Gathering that still gives chills to us whenever we see photos and videos from the said event. Everything that happened during that one magical night definitely found a special place in our hearts.

The event became a “part” of us that haters can't take away. It will always be a favorite song that we will never ever get tired of repeating. It's the part of the movie that we will always appreciate, pause and rewind. It will always be that part of the book that will remind us of our favorite persons in the world, not McCoy and Elisse but... Marc Carlos and Maria Chriselle.

S - weet Somethings!

The Lord continues to make us all humble and here we are, not realizing that humility have already become our second nature. He is guiding us to the right path. Hard work can bring success but what truly makes you a successful person is your undying faith in Him if the going gets hard. 

McLisse got the Most Promising Loveteam Award this year, PEP also awarded them as Breakout Stars and they also got other special awards that were enough to get us all clapping instead of bragging. McCoy and Elisse also starred on their first ever MMK. McCoy landed a lead role on the hit indie film Instalado. McLisse also got a Mangaserye: Vloggergirl Problems which is a certified best-seller. Both of them also got new endorsement deals this year.

Blue Roses took the spotlight away from the usual and cliché, Red roses. Sunflowers found the loveliest sunshine of all as McLisse found them. The fanmily will not forget how McCoy & Team McLisse showered the whole activity area with Red Balloons. It was another OMG moment, proving to be one of the most unkabogable ball proposals of 2017. Of course, McCoy and Elisse attended the annual Star Magic Ball together with genuine smiles not only in their faces, but also in their hearts.

Squeaaaaaaaaaaal! Star Cinema Awards also awarded MCLISSE as Ultimate Loveteam of the Year.

Wow! What a year! This is the fruit of all our hard work, fam! We stayed faithful. Everyone remained focused on the goal which was to win the award we've all been dying to have. Remember those trying times? Those gloomy days had to come for us to be more motivated and divert our attention in voting instead of weeping. Hands down to Team Puyat and online committee for leading the SCA voting party up to the last minute. This is just the beginning, fam. The “ultimate” adventure is just about to start for a better & stronger McLisse fandom!

T - he Good Son

Obet and Sabina. The Good Son is getting more exciting just like BetIna's storyline! We genuinely...... like it!

Guys, Kapit lang. We won't deny that we tune in to get more kilig scenes. We already ate a lot of hopias several times but we're still holding on to our faith that one day, moreee kilig scenes will come for us! Obet and Sabina are getting closer now. We can feel that the attraction is there, the connection is there and we know that a good storytelling is the only thing that can keep this OTP alive. So, cheer up! Eventually, the murder case will be solved and all the OTPs will get the endings they deserve, that for sure.

M - aking MEGA in Turkey!!!

TurKeyLig. Now, that's one for the the books. Can you believe it? McLisse's unforgettable trip to Turkey also happened this year! Oh wow, this fact still shakes us every now and then. Our hearts still jump everytime we stare at their lovely photos in the pages of MEGA magazine. We still get our cheeks flushed everytime we watch their romantic documentary.

McLisse fanmily have worked hard to turn this dream into reality. McCoy and Elisse have worked hard to make reality seem like a beautiful dream-- making every moment count, making everything magical and surreal to the point that we find ourselves wanting to slap our faces to convince us that reality is here and it is what you made it and for continuously living the most realistic dream of all--- achieving great things with the fandom.

A - ng Panday

Haneeeep! From JP x Lorraine to Caloy x Rowena! Thank you Ninong Coco! This is another milestone for McLisse. Ang Panday is their very film together as a pair and it made the cut! It is one of the MMFF entries that will grace our cinemas this Christmas season! Are we ready to see the Kiligan (Tatak McLisse) on the BIG screen? BIG, literally. Just the thought of seeing them together acting with Primetime King, Coco Martin makes us all hyped up!

Fam! The MMFF entries this year are all promising. Let's support our movie industry and spread nice words through our social media accounts. Ang Panday takes on a modern twist that millenials should appreciate and learn from. Of course, Ang Panday is the first film on our list!!! Good luck to all MFFF films!

How soon is SOON? Uhmm..... 2018!

Last December 7, (yeppp, don't you just love it when McLisse blessings drop on the 7th of the month, because yeah..... monthsary!) Film director, JP Habac posted something on his twitter account and the next thing we knew, we were thanking all the gods and heavens for a new blessing.

Have you watched JP Habac's “I'm Drunk, I Love You”? Well, if you haven't, then you better do! AS IN, PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY. McCoy and Elisse, or should we say Pol and Laya will take on a new love story and this is going to be a major breakthrough for them. Yep, claiming it because we believe in them. We know  that they'll work harder to make movie goers fall for their new characters , for the story and fall for their natural chemistry.

Are we ready? No? We must be ready but how can you be ready for something that will surely get your knees weak because you know deep inside that kilig is coming? Okay, let's save our energy for next year. Let's celebrate, fam! We are so grateful for this new opportunity. Chapter Two...

    Here I am, writing the second chapter on the same day. Call that productive or whatever; I call this therapy session on a rainy day that is slowly turning back into a hot summer day with a beautiful caress of middle-temperature wind.

    You can smell the beach in the wind, and if you lick your lips, you can almost taste the salt on them, hair flying all around my face, almost preventing me from seeing my computer screen. This morning the sky was full of clouds, there was this fresh air, and you could smell the rain, but now it’s like nothing happened, like it never rained, like thunder never screamed last night, like lightning never lighten up the sky.

    Rainy days always inspire me; there is this nostalgia, memories coming back. I always find rain soothing. So on this beautiful Sunday, I’ve started a new book, called “Thirteen Reasons Why” by Jay Asher.

    This heartbreaking story. I’m sure you’ve heard about it, probably from the Netflix series, but this book was there way before, it has been praised by everyone, Association of Booksellers for Children, American Library Association. It won a Heartland Award for Excellence in Young Adult Literature. Florida Teens Read Award, California Book Award, Kentucky Bluegrass Award, Barnes & Noble’s “top Ten Best for Teens.” Book Sense pick, international reading Association’s “ young adults choices” finalist. Borders Original Voices finalist. Chicago Public Library’s “Best of the Best Books,” Kansas State Reading Circle’s “Recommended Reading List,” New York Public Library’s “Book for the Teen Age.”

    16 state Award Master lists.

    “Thirteen Reasons Why is a mystery, eulogy, and ceremony. Twenty or thirty times, I snapped the book shut when a sentence, an image, or a line of dialogue was too beautiful and painful.–”

    I relate a lot to this first part of praise. There are so many lines, thoughts from the protagonists that break my heart. Especially this sentence. “And yes, Clay–I’m sorry, too.” If you read the book, you know why this sentence is strong, powerful and full of emotions and is so meaningful.

    “–But I, afraid and curious, would always return to this amazing book. I know, in years to come, I will often return to this book.” - Sherman Alexie, author of “The Absolutely True. Diary of a Part-Time Indian.

    I would close the book because a sentence hurt me, or because I related too much to the current situation but find myself opening the book two minutes after because I needed to see how the characters reacted, would they act the same way as I did when I was in this situation? To be honest, and don’t get me wrong, I love this book, I do not agree with some choices that some of the characters made, but that’s what makes this book so realistic, you don’t agree with everyone’s choices, it’s not yours to make.

    ”Every once in a while you come across a book that you can’t get out of your mind, one you have to rush back to if you must put it down for some reason. Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why is one of those books, and is at the very top of my personal Must-Read List.“ -Ellen Hopkins, bestselling author of Tricks, Identical, Crank, Burned, Impulse, and Glass.

     Even after ten years, this book still has this strong impact on the ones who read it. And even to the ones who didn’t but still heard from it by their friend or online. This book created, opened a conversation that needed to be.

    While reading the book, I sometimes had to remind myself that the author who wrote this book somehow found a way to put himself in the skin of a teenage girl who’s turning into a young woman and has to go through the looks and expectations of everyone. He did it, and some of you might think "well he’s an author,” I’m sorry but many failed at this. When you read this book, you tend to forget that it’s not a young woman who’s writing this book, who’s telling her story, it’s an amazing and talented man.

    “A spectacular first novel. Jay Asher tells his story with such honesty and simplicity that the tragedy feels shatteringly real.” -Gordon Korman, author of Son of the Mob and Jake, Reinvented.

    “the tragedy feels shatteringly real.” Well if I’m going to be entirely frank with you, Gordon Korman, these things do happen in real life! There might not be someone who does thirteen cassettes to tell their story, but it does happen. Some people can push others to kill themselves.

   In this chapter, I might hurt some people and perhaps get some haters.

    I’ve been bullied and on the verge of killing myself. People are mean enough to push others to kill themselves because they are different, not like them. Some people will beat, and some people will use words.

    For my part, the worse was the words that were said. Bruises, I mean physical injuries heal, but words stay, words remain. You can cover scars with tattoos or even jewelry, but you can’t cover internal and mental scars, it’s just not possible.

    I don’t really know where to go with this chapter. I just don’t. I’m mad whenever I think about those who hurt me but even more to those who saw and did nothing to help.

    There is this quote “It only takes a little push to pull on through” - All-Time Low, “Missing You.”

    I remember when I read online the negative comments. How the book tells too much or even the series shows too much, I got mad, and he asked me what was going on.

    “Just some stupid people that are afraid of life.” I spat, anger dripping in every word I say.

    “If you care about everything that everyone says, you’re screwed you know that?” He answers.

    I shut my computer and look at him.

    “Those people are similar to the ones who hurt me. They caution this behavior. ” I said. I didn’t understand why he was telling me this. He knew my story.

    “I know. What I meant was, you cannot leave one single negative comment to hide two positive ones.” He adds.

    “There is way more than one negative comment. That’s the problem. They refuse to see the truth! Thirteen Reasons Why shows this truth, and they don’t like it. Words hurt, actions have consequences. People decide to hate the truth because they know that they have things to be guilty of doing or saying! They criticize the victims, I mean, yeah sure it’s easier. But the fact is the less famous version of it all, the less attractive. You can’t gossip about the truth. ‘Oh well, they killed themselves because they are weak.’ They killed themselves because they were strong for too long. And when they’re dead, they cry, they don’t cry because they’re sad they are gone, no, because they’re gone because of them. They cry because they realized what they just did. They killed someone; there’s blood on their hands.

    But then what’s following could almost be mesmerizing. They can’t blame themselves, I mean, this won’t be fair, so they blame the victim, say that it was just attention seeking, they keep on putting down the victim, they soil the memory of the victim. What they don’t even realize is that by killing them, they’re killing their family, too. This book and the show prove that, and it tells the truth, and they don’t like it because people don’t like the truth.”

    Once again he didn’t answer, he knew better. And he knew I was right. Jay Asher did a fabulous work on this book, and as a bully survivor, I thank him for writing this book, and I thank Netflix for creating this show.

    Truth needs to be said. And for my part, when I will have children, I will tell them about the book and the show, I won’t force them to read it or watch it, but they will definitely know about it.

    The best way to stop bullying and hatred is to educate the ones that will soon rule the world, the next generation. Everything starts with them; things can only change with them.

     Values are something important, something that some people lack, some people are degrading, some people don’t even care about it. Sure it’s easier to be bad than good; you have to fight to be good, you have to fight to keep up with your own expectations. It’s always easier to take the wrong road, but always harder to stay on the good one, you have to look for indications, ask for help when you’re lost. It’s a constant fight, but in the end, it’s worth it because when you arrive at the end of the road, you remember the ones who helped you, the ones who let you down, and the landscapes you saw.

    Everything matters, everything has consequences, everything has an impact, minimal or not, it does matter, so make the most of it.

    Don’t wait the next day to say you’re sorry; there might not be a next day. Don’t wait until it’s too late.

    As I love to say, don’t live with regrets and do not leave with regrets.

THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY OF MARY J. BLIGE

If someone would’ve asked me earlier this year if I was a Mary J. Blige fan, I would’ve said yes. No doubt. I’ll be 23 years old this fall, so although I wasn’t exactly allowed to jam secular music, I snuck around and I liked what I heard. Therefore, it’s safe to say that I grew up to her sounds. From peeping performances of “Real Love” on video channels, to having vivid memories of Mary expressing the depth of human emotion in a closet, to hearing “Be Without You” EVERYWHERE in middle school, I definitely have had my fair share of Blige and I’ve enjoyed it in full. Or so I thought. 

Truthfully, I didn’t understand much about Mary or the messages she’s shared until a few months ago. I knew that she’d been in a tumultuous relationship with K-Ci Hailey of Jodeci in the early 1990s and I also knew that love, specifically the dark side of it, was a central theme in her work. But, it wasn’t real to me yet. Sure, I liked the sound (Mary hits those notes and the beats are bops), I enjoyed the various looks she’s given over the years, and I was into her narrative on a surface level, but it took me going through my own personal hell and being reborn and researching her life to truly feel the agony and the ecstasy of Mary J. Blige.

Blige was born in the Bronx, New York in early 1971 to a musically gifted mother, Cora, and a physically abusive father. Music was always important to the family though - Blige’s Vietnam-vet father, Thomas, was a funk musician. Thomas left the family when Mary was 4, but she has shared that he would pop back into the picture periodically. My findings revealed that the Blige women moved to Savannah, Georgia for a time, but I am unsure of the exact time period. Cora and her two young daughters then relocated to Yonkers, but unfortunately, they were constantly faced with the mistreatment of others, as well as various other forms of violence. Blige has described how while living in the projects, she would hear women yelling and running from their partners and her family would be chased by people wielding weapons. Mary also began being sexually abused by a caretaker at age 5.

As most artists and dreamers do, Mary soon found a beautiful escape from the horrors of her reality. She began singing in a Pentecostal church (a denomination known for it’s high energy services and heavenly music) and was inspired by the soulful voices of Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, and Milira. Although the music remained in her heart, Blige stopped frequenting church, dropped out of school, and began drinking and using drugs. She was a talented hairdresser, so she also spent her time doing her friends’s hair in her mother’s home. Blige soon caught wind of an opportunity to do karaoke at a nearby mall and went in to drop her rendition of Anita Baker’s smash hit, “Caught Up In The Rapture”. The performance was recorded and eventually found it’s way in the hands of Andre Harrell, the CEO of Uptown Records. Just like that, music had once again saved Mary J’s life.

Now affiliated with Uptown Records, Mary was given the opportunity to sing background vocals for popular acts until she began focusing solely on her debut body of work. In 1991, she was assigned to rising producer Sean “Puffy” Combs and they began crafting a sound that would define Blige and change R&B forever. ‘What’s the 411?’, a reference to Blige’s time as a 4-1-1 operator, combined her smooth, strong mezzo-soprano vocals with hip-hop inspired, new jack swing beats and experimented with the look and sound of what a female R&B vocalist was supposed to be like.

Produced primarily by Combs, ‘What’s the 411?’ was released in the summer of 1992 to great reviews from Entertainment Weekly, All Music, and The Rolling Stone Album Guide. Critics praised the blending of genres, Blige’s voice, and her fly, no bullshit attitude, and the project was certified 3x platinum after selling 3 million copies. Singles included: “You Remind Me”, “Real Love”, “Reminisce”, “Sweet Thing” (a cover of Blige’s childhood inspiration, Chaka Khan’s, 1975 cut) and “Love No Limit”. The stunning debut hit the top of Billboard’s Hip Hop/R&B chart, rose to #6 on the Top 200 list, and certainly solidified Blige as a starlet to watch. A remix version of the project was released, but was not as successful, even though the “Reminisce” remix with C.L. Smooth is my jam.

Around this time, Mary also began a romance with Cedric “KCi” Hailey, a singer who also has roots in the Pentecostal church and was signed to Uptown Records in 1991 (as a member of Jodeci). He was featured on Mary’s debut, sharing vocals on the emotional ballad, “I Don’t Want To Do Anything” and stories of the duo’s fiery affair has allegedly been content for a few of Blige’s recordings. Mary remained relatively quiet about the situation in interviews, but she has discussed the final straw. Apparently, Hailey gave her a ring, and then denied their engagement on a television show in London. Blige was shown the footage of his denial on air and reveals how hurt she was by his behavior. (FOUL!!!!) She kept the creativity alive through it all though and began recording her sophomore effort, ‘My Life’ in the winter of 1993.

‘My Life’, with it’s raw feeling, use of old school soul samples, and serious subject matter, was a “call for help” according to Blige.  Shockingly, she didn’t think people would be receptive of it initially. But as fate would have it, the LP, released in late 1994, was not only understood, but well received. Scarred by the events of life, the R&B diva had turned to drugs and drinking again, but was inspired by the support of her fans to begin healing. As someone who has dealt with drugs, experienced sexual abuse, and chosen cruel partners out of self-hate, I comprehend the rockiness of the healing process. It takes time, and sometimes, it’s an ongoing process. You do good, you fuck up, you clean up, you do good, you fuck up...it goes on and on until you become who you want to be. I say this because Blige did not sober up immediately - it took her years to find her strength and love herself the way she needed to be loved. Even after winning her first Grammy for “I’ll Be There For You/You’re All I Need”, Blige continued to stumble. But she never gave up.

Project after project, including 97′s ‘Share My World’, 99′s ‘Mary’, and 2001′s super successful release, ‘No More Drama’, chronicled this process and gave listeners a look into the soul of a superstar. No hateration in this dancery, bitch. Blige’s life began to get better when she started a romance in 2000, with her now soon-to-be-ex, Kendu Isaacs. In the beginning, the couple seemed to be a match made in heaven and Mary has spoken on how she strongly she felt for her first husband. After 16 years though, Blige filed for divorce, stating irreconcilable differences. I now know that cheating is at the heart of the split and I can’t help but wonder what the hell Isaacs is thinking. Spousal support? What? How do you dog MARY JANE BLIGE and then get to HER bag? Mind blowing. 

On the more positive side, during their union, Blige gave up drugs and alcohol for good, modified her diet, and gave the world ‘Love & Life’, ‘The Breakthrough’, ‘Growing Pains’, ‘Stronger With Each Tear’, ‘My Life II’, ‘A Mary Christmas, and ‘The London Sessions’. She also co-headlined a tour with Jay-Z in 2008 to support their respective 2007 releases. It remains the best selling male/female hip-hop/r&b tour of all time, grossing over 30 million dollars. Blige also won 8 of her 9 Grammy awards during this time period.

In 2017, the media has focused heavily on her divorce from Isaacs (I scrolled through pages trying to find older news that spoke on the good points of their relationship), but that’s how it be. I got a few cosmic clues that Mary J Blige’s story was worth looking into and sharing, the first coming from my mom. When all of the news started to break about Mary’s split, my mom told me to (in so many words) to humanize Blige. “She’s our sister”, my mom said. Facts, Pastor Lewis. She is our sister, and we gotta love her and lift her up. My friend Don, who is kiiiiinda responsible for my most recent MJB spin, also helped me realize a few things about Blige. He showed me “U + Me”, a single from her latest offering, ‘Strength of a Woman’ and a light bulb went off. The stories of violence, the broken relationship with self, the deep desire for real love...I finally understood it and could enjoy it as someone with a past and bright future. I can say that I’m now a true fan because I know that we are reflections of one another. Our agony and ecstasy has become one.

Congratulations to Mary J. Blige for releasing her debut project on this day in 1992. Keep going Mary, I’m behind you.

Hey guys! This is just my reaction/summary post of the BTS Concert in Newark (Thursday, 3/23)! I’ll be going into a lot of detail, but bare with me. I’ve linked all the fancams I took throughout the post, so you can check that out :)

BEFORE THE CONCERT

Alright so first things first...I’ve been following BTS since ~May/June 2014, and this was the first time I was actually able to go to a live concert. I WAS LITERALLY BEYOND THE MOON when I got tickets, and I was so excited that I was badgering everyone I knew with my fangirling. BTS means so much to me, they got me through some of the hardest times in my life, and they gave me happiness and hope. So getting to go to one of their concerts, see them and support them in person, was such a blessing.

I had P2 seated tickets, so I got to the Prudential Center at around 7pm. I immediately got in line for some merchandise, and I was able to get a BTS Army Bomb!! I met another girl who also came to the concert alone and we bonded over BTS and the struggle of putting batteries into the lightstick LOL. Once I got to my seat, I was all alone as in the seats on either side of me were empty, BUT the MVs were running and the energy in the venue was so amazing. Everyone was singing along, jamming out, cheering, and I got into it too. It’s pretty amazing how so many people were singing along to BTS and I was really really happy tbh. Two girls eventually ended up next to me, and they were seasoned concert-goers so they were really nice! The seat to my left was empty though :( Also!!! So many volunteers were handing out colored baggies for the rainbow, it was so touching.

THE CONCERT BEGINS / INTRODUCTION

Okay so....holy shit. The lights finally dimmed and literally everyone was losing their shit. They had this cool shattering effect play on the screens and then BOOM BTS was out, kicking it off with Not Today! It literally felt so surreal. They were even better than I could have ever imagined, and everyone was so hyped it was amazing. To start off the concert, they transitioned pretty quickly between songs. I was so into it, I only got a few snippets of the songs, but it was all so good. I think at this point they had gone through Am I Wrong, Baepsae, and Dope! AND LEGIT I COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY WERE THAT IN SYNC AND STILL SINGING SO WELL.

When they got to the introduction, I was pretty much dying with how cute they were...and how dorky they were in real life. If I had any theory that they were in fact cool and chic that was thrown out of the picture when J-Hope came out onto the scene with his “I’m your hope~, I’m your angel~,” line! They all clearly practiced their English, which was so touching too. AND OMG SUGA. What a dork, he just kind of basked in the cheers when it was his turn to speak, and had this little smirk on his face, I was dying!

Holy. Freaking. Shit. MY BOY IS S O   F R E A K I N G  T A L E N T E D. When he first came out, I was internally screaming, and when he opened his mouth, it was like angels came out from behind the clouds...But nothing could have prepared me for that dance break. He seriously killed it and I could not believe how stable he was while singing. I’ve never been so proud of him. :’)

Alright, first off, I was so into this stage I legit did not want to take my phone out to record, I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. He sang so well, he danced so well, and the stage was so freaking beautiful, from everything from the bit where he was blindfolded to the choreography. It was so just...so freaking beautiful to watch. Park Jimin is ART.

FIRST LOVE: SOLO STAGE (SG)

I love Min Yoongi. Everyone got really quiet during his stage, and we were all just totally enraptured by his stage and his rapping. His presence is no joke. I was so into it I didn’t even think to record anything man.

REFLECTION: SOLO STAGE (RM)

WOW WAY TO MAKE ME ALMOST CRY NAMJOON. This was not planned as far as I know, but when Namjoon sang “I wish I could love myself,” all the audience echoed back “We love you,” like they did in Brazil, and I got GOOSEBUMPS. It was so freaking sweet and he totally owned the stage, even shouting out to the crowd at one point. Definitely an awe-inspiring performance.

LOST (JIN/JM/JK/V)

DUDE I WAS NOT EXPECTING THEM TO SUDDENLY POP OUT FROM THE STAGE THE WAY THEY DID, the girl next to me had to redirect my eyes LOL. I am so pumped I finally got to see this performance, and they were all so stable and their energy was A+.

Okay, they did not give ARMYs time to breathe, literally once Lost was over, they started Save Me, and I was lowkey hyperventilating. Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and V were the only ones on stage until the first chorus, and they were all walking around the stage and interacting with the crowd, it was so cute. Then the chorus hit, and sUDDENLY THE RAP LINE WAS RUNNING ON STAGE TO JOIN IN THE CHOREO and DAMN SON was that GOOD. One thing I have to mention for this stage, was Suga’s rapping was so o n  p o i n t.

I recorded the entire stage because one of my friends is a Tae stan, and I’m so glad I did, because holy shit. Tae hit those high notes like a motherfreakin KING. O.M.G. I have to admit, I’m usually not one to get into ballad-type songs, but this was literally an experience. They had instrumentalists on stage too which kind of just enhanced the experience even more. And Jin’s voice was better than I could have ever imagined. He sang so emotionally and honestly, I don’t know how I was able to even keep my hand stable to record any of it...

SO. FREAKING. AWESOME. THE CHOREO, THE SINGING, THE RAPPING, THE EVERYTHING. I LOVE JHOPE AND HE REALLY PROVED ALL THE HATERS WRONG WITH THIS STAGE. HE HAS SUCH AN AMAZING STAGE PRESENCE EVERYONE WAS SO EXCITED, THE AIR WAS BUZZING. ALSO I LOVE THIS SONG BYE.

CYPHER PT. 4 (RM, SG, JH)

THIS WAS SO LIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They were hyping up the audience so hard, and we were legit dying. This was the point in the concert where they started flinging water onto the crowd, it was getting hype real fast. (And later in the concert, Tae even threw his entire water bottle into the crowd LOL). Also, I have never loved the lyrics to this song more: every person in that stadium was singing “I love myself” and it was so freaking awesome. I love how BTS managed to create such a hyped environment and STILL have everyone singing along to the most wholesome lyrics...

Rap line took off their coats and the music started and the other members came on the stage and DAMN. Anyone who says BTS isn’t talented has gotta look at them performing Fire live and try saying that again...Also, the fanchants/singing along was 10/10, I’m sure BTS could feel the love!

This was probably the best moment of the night for me. They started off with No More Dream and then went through all of the older songs that got them to this point. I was so emotional by the time they got to Boy in Luv and Danger, because those were the eras I first got into them...and it kind of hit me that that was three years ago, and look how far they had come. I was literally such a wreck during this part of the concert, but I loved every single bit of it. I recorded the whole bit too!

21st CENTURY GIRL

This is one of my favorite songs by BTS, and they absolutely killed it on stage!! The message has always made my heart melt, and seeing everyone in the crowd screaming and chanting and singing along was such a surreal moment to me. All the ladies really DID put their hands up in the air and SCREAM!

Man, what can I even say...After this concert, I love J-Hope even more than I thought I could, and the dancing in this was too good to describe with words so honestly just watch it omfg.

(cough cough, you mean my blood, sweat, and tears after this entire concert??? LOL) I was totally emotional during this song too, because Namjoon had just announced this was their last song. And while I knew full well that it wasn’t, it STILL got emotional for me because I realized the concert was almost over. But they really did awesome with this performance, although I was a bit concerned because they looked dead tired :((

Okay so BTS left the stage, and the audience quickly started cheering and chanting for BTS and it was a pretty euphoric moment tbh. Also, we all started putting on our colored baggies over our lightsticks, and seeing the rainbow ocean develop was truly amazing. I swear I got goosebumps.

WINGS

So obviously, BTS came back on stage to perform a few more songs LOL, and Wings was one of them! I could literally feel my heart melting throughout the song, because right before, they played this video basically figuratively telling the story of BTS, and how they were seven hearts into one, seven boys into one, and wow it was just really, really emotional and beautiful. Also all of them were walking all around the stage and dancing and jumping and playing around with the fans it was so SO awesome. :’)

Oh god, don’t even get me started on this...the boys called us their Wings and told us without ARMY, they wouldn’t be able to fly. And FRICK Namjoon really knows how to pull at our heartstrings. They also looked so genuinely happy with the rainbow ocean, and thanked us for it, and GOSH EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS MOMENT WAS JUST PERFECT.

One of the most emotional songs of the concert. When the boys held their mics out for the fans to sing, I got goosebumps, and I was really proud with how hard we tried to sing for them, despite most of us not knowing Korean, and I’m sure they were really happy too. Can I say goosebumps?!

This was probably the sweetest moment of the concert. They all took their time to say something in English to the fans, and they all had something worth it to say. Jin was so freaking cute, egging the fans on to say that his solo stage was the best :’) And J-Hope was just so excited, you couldn’t help but smile when you saw his face on the screen. Not gonna lie, I’m gonna call Suga out on his bluff, because I’m 90% he just heard Namjoon calling us our wings and repeated that and he looked so satisfied with himself and our response LOL. BUT I LOVE HIM FOR THAT. Jungkook was adorable, and he didn’t want to speak first, our cutie! Jin called us our rainbow which was adorable too. I WISH I COULD INGRAIN EVERYTHING THEY SAID INTO MY HEAD, but alas I can only remember being so happy, laughing, and this general warm feeling in my belly.

Okay, for real for real the last song, and it was beautiful. The dancing was more than I could have ever wished to see from BTS after performing so much and for so long, and yet they still did an amazing, amazing job.

THE CONCERT ENDS / CONCLUSION

My heart hurt a little bit when they came out to do their final thank you and bow to us all. But I think they probably make a habit of doing long and meaningful goodbyes, and I’m really happy they do. The audience was singing along to the “Whoa~”s of Spring Day, and BTS just looked out to us as we did so, and it was such a sweet moment. As they bowed, a bunch of people in the pit through plushies onto the stage, and J-Hope actually picked one up and tried to mimic its face, it was SO CUTE! Jungkook took a flag and tied it around his neck like a little superhero, it was adorable. Also, Jin blew so many kisses and acted so GREASY towards the end, I freaking loved it. One of my favorite moments was when J-Hope started swaying his arms to make the crowd follow him, and Jungkook copied him except in 10x speed, like the absolute dork he is.

I PROBABLY MISSED SO MUCH and I wish I could honestly relive it all over again and again, but the memories and videos will have to suffice.

Honestly, sorry for the long-ass post, but this is mostly for my sake so I don’t forget a thing :’) But I hope you guys enjoyed reading/watching this as much as I did.

When I left Kat-Tun - I was pissed as hell from management, it was pissed not aggravated and I was also happy as hell to be out from under that heavy thumb. But I was heartbroken and devastated to be leaving something and people I loved so damn much. It was a pretty crazy time for me: emotionally and mentally.
