if you only know them online, here are some cyberstalking tips that don't rely on being close and location (all this assuming they're active online):

-look up their friends' usernames

-look at tagged photos, mentions and interactions they have with others in the comments under their posts to find out who they're friends with

-if you can see previous usernames (like on instagram) look up those too

It's not ideal, but it covers my needs for now. So until I find the time to build that "smart" approach, I'm going about it the dumb way and nightly syncing everything to B2. I thought I might get clever and explore that to see if I could extract out the metadata of the shared items and use it to help me write a "smart" backup script (that perhaps imports other people's photos directly into Photos.app) instead of just taking the brute-force approach and backing up the entire album as a dumb blob, but I haven't had enough time yet to investigate. It's quite impenetrable and obviously not meant for users to poke around, but the programmer in me understands why it is this way.Īt the top level is a Core Data database. And inside each album, every shared photo/video is itself inside its own UUID folder name. So I had a coding question that I've been trying to find the answer for, for a while. I've tried searching up information online and such but haven't been able to find anything.

I was wondering though how exactly someone would go about creating a main menu screen with the whole being able to create a new game, load one or change the settings? Like I said I've tried searching it up but haven't been able to find anything except for information on creating a transition screen.

You’re going to need an understanding of CSS for this, but I’ll do my best to walk you through it, alongside some basic functions of the UIBar and UI APIs. Also, like pretty much anything to do with coding, there is more than one way to do something (and there may be a more efficient/effective way than mine).

Like all of my tutorials, this is written for SugarCube 2.34.1. Since this one mainly deals with CSS, I’m sure you could adapt it to another format, but I’m not familiar enough with Harlowe, Snowman and Chapbook to add specifics.

Additionally, I use the Twine 2 editor version 2.2.1. This tutorial can be used with later versions; some of my example images may look not look exactly like what you have because later versions of the editor launch test files in your default browser (the 2.2.1 version creates its own mini-browser).

Making a Main Menu Page

Step 1: Hiding the UI Bar

If you want a clear main menu page without the UI bar, you can hide it in several ways.

This will remove the UI bar completely from your game. Not recommended unless you have an alternative way of adding access to the Save, Settings and Restart functions.

<<run UIBar.stow();>>

This stows the UI bar. It will still be partially visible on the side and the player can interact with it to open it. The UI bar can be unstowed manually (without needing the player to do it themselves) on the next passage with:

If you don’t want the UI bar to show up on your main menu, but you want to have access to it later, you can use:

<<run UIBar.hide();>>

To bring it back, you will have to use the following on the passage where you want the player to have access to it.

You may want to use the stow/hide and unstow/show functions together. Hiding the UI bar only makes it invisible; it will still take up space on the left-hand side of your game. Stowing and hiding it makes it a little more even.

To use them together, you can do this:

On the passage you don’t want the UI bar:

On the passage you where you want to restore the UI bar:

<<run UIBar.unstow();>><<run UIBar.show();>>

TIP 1: Using <<run UIBar.stow (true)>> gets rid of the slide animation as the UI bar collapses/restores, so you may want to use this so you don’t have any weird animations when you menu passage loads.

TIP 2: If you main menu is the first passage of your game, you can run the scripts for storing and hiding the UI bar in your StoryInit passage and it will run it when your game loads.

TIP 3: You can also use the Config API to have the menu bar be stowed automatically when your game starts.

Pop this code into your Javascript:

Config.ui.stowBarInitially = true;

However, if you have any links that navigate back to the main menu without restarting the game, the UI bar will be in whatever state the player left it in last. If you can only access the main menu by launching the game or hitting restart, don't worry about this.

Step 2: Tagged Stylesheets

If you want to create a menu page that has a different appearance to your game’s default look, you can do so by using a tagged stylesheets. When using a tagged stylesheet, every passage with the same tag will have its appearance overridden to match what you’ve adjusted in your Story Stylesheet.

Let’s make one called main-menu. You can tag passages like so:

You can also tag the passage a different colour to make it special passages like this one stand out.

Step 3: Adding CSS

Now that the passage is tagged, you need to add a new CSS class to your stylesheet to change its appearance.

To change the appearance, you need to decide which selectors to target and what about them you want to change. Every default SugarCube game has the same set of selectors (you can find them here in the documentation). The most important ones are:

body – the body of the page. You can use this to change the foreground and background colours.

.passages – the element that contains your game’s main text. This is where you can change things like the colour that displays behind your game’s text, the font family, line height, letter spacing, all that stuff.

For the sake of this example, I am going to use the default SugarCube stylesheet and edit it from the ground up. You can find the code for SugarCube’s built-in stylesheets here.

In your stylesheet, you will want to use the tag you created earlier as the new class name.

.main-menu

Put this with the selectors you are going to change.

Let’s start with the body.

body.main-menu { color: #fff; background-color: #000; overflow: auto; }

The color property controls the colour of the font. Here I’ve set it to the hex code #fff and the background-color #000.

So now I have a black page when I start the main menu passage, and thanks to the code for the UI bar I put in earlier, the UI bar is gone.

Adding a Background

Now, we might want to spice up the background with an image to make it more interesting.

To add an image to the background, you need to use the background-image property.

You can read more about the different background properties and what they do here on W3Schools, but the code above will center your background image in the middle of the page and also make sure that it covers the entire container.

IMPORTANT: If you intend to upload your game as a ZIP file containing a .index HTML file (this is recommended if you have a lot of image assets or don’t want to link to an outside host, like imgur), you will need to use relative paths with any image URLs in your game.

Relative paths mean that the file is relative to the directory it’s in. In the example above, you can see that the background URL is "images/main-menu.jpg". This means that when the file is uploaded to itch.io, it will find the file—main-menu.jpg—inside the images folder, regardless of where the images folder is located.

For reference, this is what my game assets folder looks like for Wayfarer:

Relative paths are different than an absolute path, which begins with the drive letter. For example, the main-menu.png may be stored on my personal computer in a path like this one: C:/game/images/main-menu.jpg.

If I use this absolute path in the game, the image asset will not show up for players once it’s uploaded to itch because the image is not hosted on the player’s device in C:/game/images/main-menu.jpg.

This can cause some finnicky issues with the Twine 2 editor because the editor cannot find and display images from relative paths (unless you’ve put the editor in the same directory as the one you’re storing your assets in; I haven’t bothered to try this, so I’m not sure).

While working on your game in the Twine editor, you may need to use an absolute path to see what your asset looks like while you're editing. When it comes time to publish, make sure you switch it back to a relative path, otherwise the image will not load for players.

Step 4: Adding & Styling Links

Now that we have a background, we’ll want to tackle the links themselves.

Adding Links

You can link to the starting passage of your game using your preferred method—the [[ ]] link markup, the <<link>> macro, etc.

But for Saves and Settings (and also a Resume Game link, if you’re using the autosave feature), you’ll need to manually call the functions for accessing those dialogs. You can do that with this code here:

This will add a Load Game link that opens the Saves dialog when clicked.

Styling Your Game Title & Links

So this is where you can get get fancy with your CSS. For now, we’re going to keep everything within the .passage element (which is where any text inputting into the editor goes), but I will show you how to move the links and title to wherever you want further down.

Importing Fonts

First, go font shopping.

Google fonts has a very large library of free-to-use fonts that you can import directly into your game via your Story Stylesheet. After you browser Google fonts for the fonts you want to use, scroll down to the Use on Web section and click @import. Google will automatically generate the code you need to import the fonts you want to use.

Ignore the <style> </style> and copy everything else inside it and paste it in the top of your Story Stylesheet.

For this example, mine looks like this:

@import url('https://fonts.googleapis.com/css2?family=Almendra+Display&family=Nova+Cut&display=swap');

TIP: If you are importing fonts that a bold weight and italics available and intend to use bold and italics, make sure you import the bold weight and the italic versions of the font as well as the regular one. This will stop your fonts from having weird printing issues when you use bold and italics (especially on non-Chromium browsers like Firefox).

Below the import button, Google will show you the CSS rules for each font family. Keep these in mind, you’ll need them later. Mine, for this example, are like this:

font-family: 'Almendra Display', cursive; font-family: 'Nova Cut', cursive;

Basic Styling

In your stylesheet, you’ll want to target the .passage element with the .main-menu class.

Make sure there isn’t a space between .passage and .main-menu, otherwise it won’t work!

Here, I’ve changed a few properties.

font-family – this changes the font to Nova Cut

font-size – this changes the font size. I’ve used the unit em, which is relative to the element size (you can read more about CSS Units here)

text-align – this centers the text to the middle of the .passage element

I have also added:

background-color: transparent;

This makes the passage background transparent so you can see the background image. This is only necessary if you’ve added a background-color to your default passages.

Now, for the links.

Links have their own separate selector.

a means is the link as it usually displays

a:hover is the link when the player hovers their cursor over it.

It's generally a good idea to use different colours on the links—one for the normal display, one for the hover—so the player can visually see that they are hovering over a clickable link. If you don't want to use different colours, you should consider using some other visual cue to make that differentiation.

I’ve added an additional property here:

text-decoration: none.

This gets rid of the underline that happens on all default links in the default SugarCube stylesheet. Currently, this only targets the links on passages tagged main-menu; if you want to get rid of the text-decoration on all links, you can change the styling of your links like so:

a:hover { text-decoration: none; }

Choosing Colours

If you’re not sure where to start when it comes to picking hex codes, color-hex.com is a really helpful site. It gives you related tints and shades of for every hex code, which makes it a lot easier to find colours that are slightly darker or slightly lighter than your base hex code.

For choosing colours initially, there are plenty of hex code colour palette generators available online. One of my favourites is the one on Canva, which lets you upload an image and then it creates a colour palette from there. You might not want to use the exact colours it pulls, but checking the colours on color-hex can help you narrow down something that works for your aesthetics.

This is what our template now looks like:

Giving the Title a Unique Style

Right now, the title is styled by the .passage.main-menu selector and it’s default font size and font type is the same as the links below it.

If you want to style it differently, you can make a new class for it. In this case, I’m going to drop the .passage.main-menu and make a class called .game-title.

Because the font I selected didn’t come with a bold version, I cheated a bit a used the text-shadow property to bulk it up. I also had to adjust the line height. SugarCube’s default .passage styling gives everything a line height of 1.75 and there was too much space once the new font family and font size were applied.

To add this styling to your title, go into your main menu passage and wrap your game’s title in a span, like so:

TIP: If you want to play around with your appearance, you can use your browser’s Inspect tool to see the page’s CSS and play around/edit it. Either right click and hit Inspect or hit CTRL + SHIFT + I to open the Inspect tool. Once opened, you can go in and adjust things. If you make and a change and like it, remember to copy the code over to your stylesheet before you close the inspect tool.

Placing a Title & Links Outside the .passage element

If you want your game title and menu links to be elsewhere on the page, you’re going to need re-write some of your CSS and add some additional CSS.

The first thing is that you’ll want to remove the styling from .passage.main-menu. I’ve left background-color to transparent, but you’re not going to be using this to style your game title and menu links.

For the title:

I’ve created two elements, one called .main-title and one called .main-title-item.

.main-title creates a container that will hold the title. This is what I use to tell it where on the page to appear.

If you want to change where the title and menu links appear, you can use the Inspect tool to figure out different percentages and spacing until you find something that works for you.

There are a lot more things you can add (like animations that appear when you hover your cursor on the link), but I’ll leave it there for now.

Additionally, if you intend to make your game mobile compatible, you’ll want to read up on media queries and learn how to adjust font sizes and any other units of measurement for different viewports. This is how you shrink things appropriate to fit on small screens.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know. I’m still a newbie at CSS (so I’m sure there are ways of doing things more effectively), but these are some of the things that I have helped me along the way.

A Broken Blade, Short comic: Making-of

The very short comic I drew for A Broken Blade took me a lot of time and effort and I would like to share the list of resources I used as well as some of the concept arts, sketches and drafts I made throughout the process. I don't know if anyone will be interested, but I feel the need to share anyway. =)

Sorry for any grammatical or spelling mistakes, English is not my first language.

Literature resources

First things first, while drawing the first page I decided to read some books about how to draw comics because I have very little experience in this field. I chose two books:

Foundations in Comic Book Art: Fundamental Tools and Techniques for Sequential Artists by John Paul Lowe

The Complete Guide to Self-Publishing Comics: How to Create and Sell Comic Books, Manga, and Webcomics by Comfort Love & Adam Withers

It's been a while since I read them, but if I remember correctly I liked The Complete Guide to Self-Publishing Comics better because it's very complete (it’s in the title) and covers all aspects of how to draw a comic. It has a lot of great examples too. Foundations in Comic Book Art talks a lot about inking (which I wasn't particularly interested about), but it also has a nice chapter about perspective. Both have very useful tips so if you are interested to draw comics you might want to read them.

I've also read really good stuff on Making Comics – with Salgood Sam, in particular the article about flow in comics.

Inspiration

I usually start every project by making an inspiration/mood board so I made a small collection of comic pages on Pinterest to see what kind of layout and style I could use. I was mostly interested to see different ways of representing movements and sounds.

Layout & composition

The first thing I did was to draw a thumbnail for each page to get an idea of how I would represent the scenes. I think you're supposed to draw several thumbnails for each page but I was okay with the first ones I drew so I decided to keep them.

I worked on each page separately after that, always starting with a draft. It was really the most important step for me because it helped me to visualize what kind of atmosphere I wanted to use and where to place the lighting. I tried to keep them simple but you can see different degrees of laziness depending on the page. xD

Some of these sketches are very ugly but it does the job. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wasn't satisfied with the first composition I made for the second page so I made another, more sketch-like, version. I ended up using a mix of the two versions for the final page.

Now, a very important point was that the part of the fic I decided to draw is about Sev having a nightmare. I really wanted to bring this aspect in the comic so I tried to play a lot with the lights, shadows and blurred elements. For the same reason, I decided not to use straight lines for the panels’ borders. I had in mind that it could depict how confused Sev is.

I think colors also play an important part in telling a story. For the general atmosphere, I decided to use the complementary colors blue and orange to separate the moment Sev is dreaming of cold, fear and death to when he wakes up to warm, security and family. And of course the red is for danger, blood and Sev himself.

References

First of all, I can't talk about references without mentioning PureRef, which is the program I use to make reference boards. I can't praise this tool enough so don't hesitate to check it out.

I always use a ton of references when I draw, and I'm not even exaggerating, I can easily spend hours searching for the right ones. There are plenty of places where you can find good references but sometimes you also need to be creative. I usually gather most of my references from Pinterest, Google Images, DeviantArt and Sketchfab (for 3D models). I also have a big folder of refs saved on my computer for the things I often draw. When I can't find what I'm looking for, I try to make it myself with 3D, videos and photos.

I said it's only a part because I also have separate boards for clones armors and SW characters/species designs.

Among all of these you can see some concept arts and screenshots from various Star Wars series/games that I used as inspiration to draw the interiors. And since I'm bad with interiors, for the panel with Scorch I used SketchUp for the first time to make a very quick model of the scene. I tried to use the rule of thirds for the composition:

There are a lot of photos of my hands too, I don't have much trouble drawing them but references are still very welcome.

After finishing the first page I've invested in a drawing mannequin (S.H.Figuarts - Body Kun) and I can say for sure that it was my best purchase of the year! It's absolutely amazing to make custom references:

I decided to draw over the photos of the mannequin taking the pose because it is waaaay easier that way than trying for hours to get the proportions and perspective right.

Character & knife design

For Sev, I decided to use the original design from the Republic Commando game rather than the simplified version we see in SW:TCW. I really struggled to find references for his armor's markings that showed all angles so it's not 100% accurate to the original design, but I don't think that's really a problem. For the armor itself, I prefer the more realistic look so I used references from Star Wars Battlefront II as well as 3D models (mostly this one and this one).

Since I'm a perfectionist at heart, I tried to keep all scratches on the paint the same from one panel to another. :’)

The trandoshan is only visible on a couple of panels but he still needed a design. I used references from different sources but I was mostly inspired by the trandoshan concept arts visible in The Art of Star Wars: the Mandalorian (bottom left and bottom right images).

As a side note, I used one of my own character’s design as inspiration for his muzzle’s markings.

In the fic, the blade is described as being “beautiful” and the image that immediately came to my mind was one of these knives with a Damascus pattern (I just learned that's what it's called). I used various references from regular knives and vibroblades. One of my friend made a speed modelling of the knife I designed and I used it as reference as well, look at this!

Did you know that non-energized blades are called dead blades in Star Wars? It's a pretty cool name in my opinion.

Fonts

The fonts I used on the comic come from Blambot. I used Anime Ace for the regular texts and Death Rattle for the big sound texts. I also use NexusFont to manage the fonts on my computer, it’s pretty useful if you want to use fonts without having to install them.

How to manage CC for a smoother game - and other sims 3 tips

Hi there! So I've been on this CC cleanout surge recently and I learned a few things along the way, I thought I would share. It’s a long ass text post, sorry...

BEFORE PLAYING:

The Sims do not have a built-in FPS limiter (FPS is frames per second, google it!) and that can fry up your computer. So start by getting a FPS limiter, I use this one. 

You'll notice this is a tool to start your game too: this is my second tip, never start through the launcher!

Then, go and disable the featureditems folder in your sims 3 folder following this tutorial. This folder keeps pictures of the objects and is useless, it will just slow down your computer.

Before playing your game, always delete the five cache files in your sims 3 folder:

CASPartCache

compositorCache

scriptCache

socialCache

Remove any Screenshots or video files from your Sims 3 folder and put them somewhere else. They slow your game down.

And use the Save Cleaner tool here to clean your saves. 

IN GAME:

Remember to save. SAVE SAVE SAVE! I would recommend Nraas Saver http://www.nraas.net/community/Saver It will prompt you to save every thirty minutes (but you can change the setting to your liking).

Always use "Save as" and have multiple saves. For example "Moonlight Falls 1", "Moonlight Falls2", etc. This will make it so much easier to go back to a former save if something goes wrong! Save in Live Mode and in Map view. For some reason it saves faster and your save will load faster too. Backup your saves. Have a folder somewhere on your computer with all your saves, and thank me later.

Use these three mods:

Master controller

ErrorTrap

Overwatch

MasterController can do loooooooooooots of stuff but for the purpose of smooth gaming, it will allow you to reset a sim, a family of sims, an object, a house or the entire town. It is very useful to reset a buggy sim and I would advise to reset the whole town from time to time too.

ErrorTrap and Overwatch basically catch and correct a number of bugs. Believe me they are essential.

And now for the pièce de résistance...

MANAGING CC

CC is awesome. But if you just throw it all in the launcher, install it and call it a day, your game will probably die, I'm sorry. I assume you already know the very basics of installing CC, like the mods foler and so on. You can always ask me if you need to though!

First thing is to get CC magic here. I won't do a CC magic tutorial, there are plenty of them already, I like this one.  Basically it organizes your files easily, and it merges them together, which will reduce the lag CONSIDERABLY.

Once you have CC magic installed and you know how to use it (do a test with two or three items of CC), we're ready to start!

BACKUP YOUR FILES! CC magic will "eat" them, so have all your CC files somewhere safe on your computer, and on an external hard drive if you can.

Convert everything to packages. Everything. Really. I use this tool. Counters converted to packages can be fussy in game, if their texture breaks use the CASt tool on them, click on the first preset and they're good to go again! Patterns converted to packages sometimes need fixing, here is how you can do it.  Worlds can be converted too. They are the only thing I don't convert cause I'm scared but don't be like me, be brave and do it! 

Use the thumbnail extractor here to easily extract an image of your CC item, making it easier to identify.

Rename your files. Any special caracter like "[" or ")" or "," or accents are difficult for the game to read and will slow it down. "-" and "_" are fine, so use them instead. To rename my files easily, I use ReNamer. Come up with a naming system that will make it easy to indentify a file. Here is an example of what I do: ATS3_Obj_Appliances_4to3_coffeemaker_joejockey ATS3 is the creator's name. Obj indicates that it's a buy item, not a build or CAS one. Appliances tells me where it will go in the game catalog. The rest is the name that was already given by the creator. EDIT: Spaces also slow down the game! Replace them with an underscore.

Compress your files. You can use a tool like the compressorizer  or go the easy route like I do and just tick the "compression activated" box in the options tab of CC magic. It will compress for you, but that will make the rebuild slower.

Mods and default replacement can be compressed and merged in CC magic too! They don't have to be in the legacy part of CC magic. I only put two subfolders in Legacy: a TEST folder where I put any new mods that I have to play test to make sure they are fine, and a Midnight Sun challenge one where I keep the mods I want to use only in my Midnight Sun save, not in my normal ones. It makes it easy to deactivate them when I don't want to use them. BE CAREFUL: overrides have to be in the overrides folder in your Sims 3 folder to work. I can't tell you how to tell the difference between an override and a default replacement, you'll have to do it by hand like I did. If a DR does not work when merged in CC magic, put it in Overrides.

RANDOM CC TIPS:

Don't download houses containing CC. I know they are gorgeous but a sims3pack house can come with 500+ items of CC that you don't necessarily want, and you will never be able to find them and organize them.

Don't download CC folders from other players. It can be disrespectful to the creators and same as above, you don't know where it comes from and have no control over it and what it will do to your game.

Be picky. If you download a set, check every item and keep only what you know you want.

Don't be lazy. If when in game you find yourself noticing a CC item you never use, write it down somewhere and delete it when you're not playing!

Go in the DCBackup folder in the Sims 3 folder from time to time to delete everything, EXCEPT for the ccmerged.package file. You can compress this file with the compressorizer though.

Antivirus - Chapter 2

He blew the smoke from his mouth around the cigarette, the morning sun catching all the particles as they floated into the air. Tim drew the J on top of the fresh carton and dropped the pen onto the dashboard. Pulling the cigarette from his mouth, he drew in a deep breath of fresh air, fresh as you could get at a gas station by a highway. Looking around the parking lot, at the people filing in and out, he shook his head and gave a wry smile. Hard not to be in a good mood when you got some decent sleep for once.

Becca and Lukas were okay. Lukas's leg had been taken care of, and the two had set back off for Idaho, back to the families that loved them. Another success case for Timothy Kane. Another group of people adding to the myth of his existence. Seemed like every month there were more of them. The Operator never tired. The sickness never eased. In fact, it only grew worse.

But like hell was he going to start off a good morning with that depressing shit. He'd gotten paid, gotten rest, and he'd found out where the nearest library was with free internet. He was not going to let a rare moment of peace escape him. He'd lost too much for that.

The library wasn't far away from the gas station he'd refilled at. By the time he pulled into the parking lot, it was open, as were the windows on the front of the building. He spoke briefly to the clerk at the front desk, making sure he understood their internet rules and that it was okay for him to bring in his thermos of coffee, before finding a convenient spot by a power outlet. 

His laptop was getting old, it took a while for it to boot up. As Tim waited, he thumbed through a newspaper. Experts predicting a war with China for the third time in as many years, conflict in the Middle East, the royal family in Britain getting roped into some scandal or another. That was why he didn't read the news much, it was always the same. By the time he got to the comics (never his favorite part of the newspaper), his laptop had finished, and Tim traded the two without a second thought.

He could and did check his email on his phone but he was old-fashioned and preferred to use his laptop when he had the chance. Earlier Becca's mother replied to his report about her daughter returning home, a message he'd saved in a special folder he looked at when he felt particularly shitty. 

Another email was waiting for him now, from a 'Meridith Frederickson'. Another client, looking for her son and his missing best friend. He replied to that one, offering to schedule a Zoom meeting later that same day. By now he knew all too well what happened if he wasn't on top of his cases. 

And of course, he had new messages in the spam folder. Tim glanced over the subjects of the emails without opening any of them. Some didn't have any, but most were vaguely threatening, the kind he usually got from trolls and kids. 'Always watching', 'there's no escape', 'how could you', and on and on and on. People thought they could get a rise out of him by acting like totheark, but none of them even came close to what Brian had been all those years ago. 

Tim glanced at the tab next to his email, frowning. There was no sense in trying to put it off, even if he hated doing it. Everything on that site made him feel worse, and today had been a pretty good day. But if he didn't look, he'd regret it later, falling into a rabbit hole of updates that was guaranteed to fuck him over. So he opened YouTube.

The videos were taken down years ago, the channels involved with Marble Hornets wiped from the website. But that didn't mean they were gone, just hidden away on Google Drives and shock sites. What was on YouTube was... the fandom.

It made his skin crawl thinking about it. People from all over the world were obsessed with what he and Jay had been through. He'd seen hundreds of articles about the videos, from five minute listicles to long analysises about the events and the people involved. He'd seen other things, too, things he'd rather not remember. Like the fanart...

Out of everything, though, it was the YouTube community that unsettled him the most. The passionate, wide eyed college kids. The naive high schoolers. The older people, with their backgrounds in criminal science and forensics and cryptids and God knew what else. They picked over the videos and tweets and codes like vultures at a pile of bones. Like it was just a fictional web series, like people he knew and once liked weren't dead. And they spread the disease. It didn't take all of them, leaving the YouTubers alone, but claiming their followers. It made him sick thinking about all the people he couldn't save, the people who had no one left to try and find them, the people who vanished into Rosswood Park and were never seen again. It made him sick, watching these ignorant people talk about his pain as if they were all insects under microscopes.

But if he didn't pay attention, who knew what might happen. The Operator was watching all of them. One slip up was all it took.

He scrolled through both the front page and his subscriptions. The videos were, in the end, all the same. Speculation, discussion, analyzation. Some of them he could watch later. Others needed his attention now.

Tim’s eyes landed on a video, and his heart clenched. The Neophyte was streaming again.

The still image didn’t show much. Neophyte_Calling didn’t put much work into his channel. It was just a shot of what the streams normally showed, pale, unkempt hands poking free from black robes, resting on an old plastic table. That was what he expected to find once he opened the stream.

And he’d be correct, that was what awaited him once he got the courage to click. The hands twitched and clenched and dug at the table. It wasn’t the hands that were special though, it was what the owner of those hands were saying.

“Autumn after firestorm, the nights don’t listen and the butter is on the corn. Ten days or twenty paces of living guts wrapped around an old man’s neck. The water comes up to your waist but you don’t feel the attitude of denial inside the bastard daughter’s heart. Oh, god, eureka, industry was never so smooth…”

Complete nonsense. The ramblings of a man on some kind of drug, or lost to some unknown mental illness. Despite this, the chat flooded with messages. Donations popped up occasionally, attempts to get the Neophyte’s attention. He didn’t notice. He never noticed. He just kept talking. And he would keep talking until the stream ended on its own, or he passed out on the table.

People called him a prophet. Claimed every word he spoke had a double, or even a triple, meaning. They recorded every word he said and discussed them among themselves, coming up with ‘translations’ for his maddening dialogue. And to be fair, they could have a point. Sometimes, what the Neophyte said did seem to foretell events that happened not long after he spoke them. But the god the Neophyte channeled was not one Tim would ever ask someone to worship.

Silence. The man stopped talking, his fidgeting hands resting flat on the table. Dread filled Tim’s body. Speak of the devil, he was doing this again?

The Neophyte spoke again, his voice deeper now. The words came clumsy from his mouth, uncomfortable, heavy, as if he had never spoken before. The emphasis, the tone, it was all wrong. Tim had no trouble understanding them, however.

“You always fight,” It said through the Neophyte’s mouth. “You always resist. You tire, and exhaust, and fall. You continue to fight despite.”

The robes shifted, the head hidden from the camera’s view tilting.

“Tim,” It said. “You are a grain of sand. I am eternal. I am here. I will always be here. You understand. You continue despite.”

On the side of the screen, the chat surged with messages. It raced so quickly, Tim couldn’t have read any of them even if he tried. He didn’t look away from the livestream. 

“Tim,” It said again. “Enough. You have fought hard. You are getting old. That’s enough. It’s time to come home. To us. To all of us.”

The hair stood up on his arms, on the back of Tim’s neck. He shuddered.

“Like hell,” he whispered, and closed the tab.

But even though he closed the livestream, he could swear he heard the Neophyte, the thing puppeting him, whisper in his mind.

“Coward.”

When 2pm rolled around, Tim was back in his van in the library parking lot. Obviously he couldn’t do a Zoom call inside the quiet space, but their internet reached well past the parking lot. He sat on his bed, now folded up like a couch inside the converted van he lived in. His laptop open before him, the program open and ready. Now he just had to wait for her.

Hard to say what this Meredith Fredrickson would expect a private investigator like him to look like, but Tim did his best to look presentable anyway. Hair combed, beard trimmed, leather jacket kept to the side out of her line of sight - leather jackets weren’t worn by authority figures, and that was what he was trying to be right now. Not anyone could do this job, but who’s to say she knew that? If she didn’t like the way he looked, she could try to find someone else to find her son and his friend. And if she did that, by the time she realized only Tim could help her, it would be too late.

Thinking about it that way made him shudder.

Of course, while he was prepared to deal with what she thought he would look like, he wasn’t as ready for what she herself would look like. As the call began, and Meredith’s face came on screen, Tim hesitated. He looked at her closely again. Had he seen this woman before?

“Good afternoon, Mrs. Fredrickson,” He greeted.

The woman shook her head, her curly brown hair tossing around her slim shoulders.

“Meredith is fine,” she said. “I haven’t been called ‘Mrs’ since my husband died. I changed back to my maiden name - my son’s last name will be his, not mine.”

“Of course,” Tim said. Odd information to include, but people tended to ramble when they were nervous.

He looked at her again, at the frown lines developing around her lips, and the worry and pain in her wide-set eyes. Behind her was a normal looking home, a few windows with pale curtains, a kitchen kept clean from what little he saw. Something was nagging at him. What was it?

“Did you fill out the information packet I requested?” He asked.

Meredith nodded.

“Yes.”

The file appeared, Tim half-listening to her as he opened it.

“I know this is a very strange thing to ask from you,” Meredith said. “But circumstances have changed in a way I really didn’t expect. I know it’s hard to believe that after ten years my son could be alive, but I don’t have any other explanation for…”

She trailed off. Tim didn’t look away from the document she’d sent. The names written on the very first line.

Missing People: Jay Merrick and Alex Kralie

Motherfucker, had he been tricked?

Tim shot the woman a sharp glance, examining her expression in seconds. She was not the first person to ask him to track down Jay and Alex, but she was the first he hadn’t screened out before it got this far. Most people were upfront about their intentions, or were obviously trolling, or he otherwise got weird vibes from them. This Meredith had slipped him by, and wasted his time in the process.

“He is my son,” Meredith said. “I’ve included his birth certificate, since I thought you might not believe me.”

“I don’t need it.” A birth certificate? Those weren’t easy to fake, but Tim was no expert on Photoshop either. 

“I would’ve included Alex’s, too,” Meredith continued. “After all the years he and Jay knew each other, you would’ve thought I’d have it too.” She laughed, and there was pain within it. “But his parents died in a car accident about six years back, and…”

“Wait.” Tim refocused. “Alex and Jay knew each other?”

“Since the first year of middle school,” Meredith said with a nod. “I have a lot of photos of them. You know, Jay went through a phase, where he wore all black, and listened to rock music with singers I couldn’t understand. He got a tattoo of one of the bands on his ankle behind my back. I was so angry...”

She laughed again, and her eyes went distant. Tim stared at her, his mind flashing back to all the conversations he’d had with Jay, things that didn’t go into the videos. Being Alex’s childhood friend, since middle school - the phases he went through as a teen - that damn tattoo he was so embarrassed of. None of these were known by the fandom.

Oh god, this woman was the real deal. Even her face, now that he looked at her, was just like Jay’s. The distant look in her eyes as she thought… Jay got that same expression.

“Meredith,��� he said, his voice softer, kinder. “Do you know about Marble Hornets?”

“I can’t bring myself to watch them,” she said. Meredith folded her hands together. “But I know what… what was shown on the videos. I know that they are…” She swallowed. “Considered dead by most people. I was one of them.”

His gut twisted. By most people, including her. “But something… changed.”

“Yes.” She took a deep breath, and moved to wipe her eyes. “I got a package in the mail about a week ago. Inside was a flashdrive and a few printed photos. It had been placed in my mailbox - I don’t know who sent it.”

Oh no, Tim thought. Not this again. Please, don’t play this game with people again.

“What were the photos?” He asked, aware of the sound of his own voice more than anything else.

“I’ve included most of them in the document,” Meredith said. “I… I still can’t believe what I’ve seen, but… But they don’t look like they could’ve been faked.”

Dread pressed down on his shoulders. Dread and something else, some kind of energy buzzing through his nerves. Tim looked at the document, scrolled down, and opened the photos.

Some were blurry, taken from a distance and zoomed in before being printed. Some were clear as glass. It took him several seconds to process what he was seeing, what the subjects of the photos were. Tim blinked, looked again, and his pulse quickened.

Alex, standing on a street corner, gray in his hair, exhaustion on his face. Jay in a dark cloth jacket with a hood, looking over his shoulders. Alex, and Jay, Alex, and Jay, in all the photos, in every single one. The clothes were different, the faces aged, but there was no denying what he was seeing, and like Meredith said, no way to fake what he was looking at.

“Oh my god,” Tim mumbled.

Jay and Alex were alive.

“Well, that’ll be our missing girl,” Jody commented, referring to the dead body in front of her and Sam.

Sam grimaced, and then took a step closer.

The body itself was tied to a tree with a thin, but strong, wire around the neck, and the head had been bashed in. The throat had been slit as well. The body had slumped, legs having gone limp, and the head hung forward at a disturbing angle. Blood was everywhere.

He leaned down, examining the head.

“The skull’s cracked,” he noticed.

“Any brain matter?”

He winced. “Yeah.”

She stepped forward now, going to examine the body. She covered her mouth and nose as she leaned in. As sheriff she probably didn’t see as many bodies as forensics did, though Sam knew she liked to get out in the field, especially when it came to hunting.

“This poor girl,” Jody commented. “Someone really wanted her dead. You seen anything like this before, Sam?”

“I was actually going to ask you the same thing.”

Jody just lifted her head and stared at him, eyes wide with disbelief.

“What? This is your jurisdiction,” he pointed out.

“Yeah, but we don’t find dead bodies that look like a serial killer got to them” she argued. She shook her head, and started trekking up the grassy hill. “I gotta call this in.”

Sam searched around the area, looking for hex bags, or anything, testing for EMF. He found nothing, except for a footprint. It was small, probably from a woman.

Jody finished calling a forensics team and a few deputies, and Sam said, “Hey, I think I found something!”

She went back over to him, and Sam pointed out the footprint that was behind the tree.

“So not a ghost,” she said.

“Yeah, they can’t leave that kind of mark.”

“Could we be looking at a person?”

Sam grimaced, and turned to the dead body again. “Maybe.”

Research. Always research. Sam was having a difficult time with it because he truly hadn’t seen this before. Throat slashed, strangled, head bashed in… It felt like a new kind of messed up, especially since the killer could be a human.

He wondered which wound had killed the girl. All three of them could’ve done the job.

For now, Jody was at the sheriff’s station, searching through case files from before her appointment as sheriff. She’d call him if she found anything.

Sam sat at the rickety table in his motel room, laptop out in front of him. He had a multitude of links open, and at the moment, he was digging deep, using a search engine that wouldn’t alert anyone or be saved on the laptop’s history. Besides, it wasn’t as if Google would give him answers about someone getting violently murdered.

He didn’t have any ideas either. What could this thing even be?

“Human,” he muttered to himself. “Human…”

Could be a sacrifice.

With that in mind, he was able to make his research a little more specific. It took an hour, least, but he managed to find something. It wasn’t much, just a picture tucked away in an online copy of a very old book, a description underneath.

Sam frowned, examining the picture again. The renderings weren’t realistic, of course, having come from a time where the art styles were still being figured out. It was before the Renaissance. The book itself was at least a century old, so Sam wasn’t sure he trusted the source.

He searched the description attached to the image.

His phone started ringing.

“Hello,” he answered after hitting the green arrow and putting the phone to his ear.

“Sam, I found something.”

“I think I did too. You first.”

“So there were deaths like these fifty years ago.”

“Crap, that long?”

“And aside from that, there hasn’t been anything else. There were nine like it, all victims killed in the same way. Of course, the records aren’t as detailed as they would’ve been now, but it’s something. Could we be dealing with a copy cat killer?”

Sam shook his head, bewildered. “It would’ve had to be someone who knew about all this. I kind of doubt it.”

“Alright, what’d you find?”

“So I couldn’t find anything at first,” he explained, going back to the image. “But it looks like we’re dealing with a sacrifice.” Sam thought he could hear Jody wince on the other end of the phone. “Yeah,” he commented. “Um… I’m gonna hit the library, see what I can find.”

“I’ll look into public records.”

“Good idea. Reconvene in an hour?”

“It’s a date.”

Sam smiled, loving that he was working with Jody on this despite the horrors they were dealing with. It had been way too long since he’d seen Jody. Besides, he’d needed to get out. Dean and Castiel were dealing with the Mark, and Sam, who always felt anxious and just a little terrified around his brother now, had desperately needed something to drag him away from all that.

He grabbed his laptop, and his notes, and stuffed them into a satchel, and then he was on his way.

The first thing Jody did was search through the list of names she’d gotten from the old police file.

“Carter O’Connell,” she mused as she stood on a ladder and dug through a set of old files. She found the manilla folder with his information. There wouldn’t be much since this was before computer records, but it was worth something. It’d have his full name, age, family members, social security number, address, and history of work.

She climbed off the ladder, and brought the file with her. She went to look at the archival cards. The cabinets that stored them were a dark brown, and covered in dust. She blew the dust away, quickly leaning back to avoid breathing it in.

Jody put the file she’d found on top, and started searching.

“Ha!” she cried, as she found where the next previous victim’s file could be found. 

It was annoying that she had to do this, but she’d already looked through the file of the girl they’d found, and she couldn’t find anything of note. But maybe with more information she and Sam could make some sort of connection.

Jody went to go get the next file.

At the library, after taking a lot of books out that led to more books due to the information he found and wrote down, Sam ended up looking at a small shelf in the mythology section. The book he grabbed now was on Celtic mythology, druids and sacrifice.

As he read he realized that druids had committed some human sacrifices, except it had been rare. Searching through the index led him to a part of the thick book on beings called daraich. Sam found the page, right near the end of the book, and started to read.

He frowned as he read.

According to historical evidence, there was a subset of druids known as the daraich (singular: darach). The word druid translates to “knower of the oak,” or “wise oak.” Darach itself does not have a disturbing meaning at the present date, though for centuries it translated to “dark oak,” with the prefix of the word “da-” meaning “dark.”

Sam immediately took notes, underlining the word “DARACH” and then writing underneath it, “dark druid.” The text hadn’t specifically said that, but “wise oak,” being turned into “dark oak” was all the information he needed.

He searched through the book some more, and stopped on a disturbing artist’s rendition of the ritual sacrifice. It wasn’t exact, though the tapestry that the picture in the book was of showed the same injuries as the ones they’d found on that girl. Bruises around the neck from strangulation, blood leaking from the head, and blood coming from the throat.

The description underneath the image described that the dark druids would commit violent sacrifices in order to gain power.

This led Sam to reading the entire page.

While the deaths themselves were thought to grant power as someone’s lifeblood was spilled out, the word “sacrifice” in primary sources suggests that it was an offering to a deity. “Sacrifice,” when looking at the Latin translation as sacrificium, means, “Something of meaning offered up to a deity.” This is relevant due to the many definitions of sacrifice pointing to a relationship between the person committing the sacrifice, and the deity, along with the Roman invasion of Celtic territories at around 1000 BC.

The druids themselves did commit human sacrifices during their Iron Age, but the acts were later condemned. Instead, they would offer up animals, weapons, and food. Due to the nature of druidism having a close connection to the natural energies of the life of the earth, the deities were thought to be in the spirit of the world itself. More specifically, lakes, and trees, and growing things.

This belief falls to the wayside as deities are accepted as beings rather than things or places.

To understand the sacrifices, one must first understand the nature of the Celtic beliefs. Possibly as early as the year 500 BC, the celts believed in sacred beings that could walk the earth, or inhabited what was known as the “Otherworld.” The sacrifice of life was attributed to a triad of these beings, a triad of sacrificial entities: Taranis, Esus, and Toutatis. These were deities of strength and power. Sacrificing to them was thought to create strength in the person committing the sacrifices.

Primarily, the sacrifices were animals, with the druidic idea that the blood would please these gods. Yet when the subset of dark druids came into being, these sacrifices turned gory, with the sacrificial victims being humans. Supposedly, the human sacrifices granted greater strength, and even powers from the Otherworld. Typically, these sacrifices would be committed preceding a war, or a battle. With the creation of the daraich (plural form of the word “darach”), to appease the triad of deities they most closely worshipped and were thought to communicate with, victims were sacrificed with what is called a threefold death. Early accounts describe this as victims being slaughtered violently, the three actions taken against them each having the ability to kill them.

Accounts of the deaths committed by the daraich describe the threefold death to this triad of deities. Evidence from an early translation: “The head must be struck, the throat pierced [slashed or cut], and the breaths must be taken.” This last act suggests strangulation. Victims of this sacrificial ritual would be found with three wounds that could have each been the cause of death: the head bashed in, throat cut, and strangulation, typically done with a garotte.

Sam stopped reading. He’d been steadily taken notes as he’d done so, and now he looked at what he’d compiled, satisfied.

He called Jody.

Jody sat at a table, the files around her. She was beginning to find a connection the the old victims. They all had had some position of authority. A police officer, teachers, parents, soldiers, even a government official. Perhaps the connection was weak, but it was the only one she could find.

Her phone started ringing, and she answered. “Yep.”

“We’re dealing with a darach,” Sam said, forgoing a greeting.

“A what?”

“Usually the daraich would do this predating a battle.”

“But there’s no battle coming up.”

“There could be,” Sam said. “Who do we know of that’s becoming violent and might turn into a demon again?”

“Shit, that could be related?”

“We’ve run into other creatures who have tried to protect themselves from more powerful beings in the past.”

Jody sighed, taking this information in. Then, she informed Sam, “I found a connection between the victims. All authority figures.”

“Wait, then what about the girl?”

“After asking around, I found out that she was a babysitter. I didn’t think it was important at the time, but—”

“She had power over someone.”

“Exactly. Sam, how do we kill this thing?”

There was pause, and then Sam cleared his throat, explaining, “We have to burn them.”

“Huh, thought it’d be harder.”

“Daraich have powers.”

And… there it was. “Fuck.”

Sam heaved in a breath, and let it out, sounding frustrated, and maybe a little worried. “Yeah.”

Jody’s walkie blinked with a red light, and Jody said, “Hold on, Sam. I gotta go.”

“Come in, Sheriff Mills. Come in. Over.”

She pressed the button to allow herself to talk. “Standby. Go ahead. Over.”

“We got a 187 over here. Over.”

“Say again?” Jody asked, standing. She hadn’t realized there would be another victim so soon.

“187. Body mutilated. Over.”

“Roger that. Where’s the body? Over.”

Jody was given the location. “Affirmative. I’ll be there in twenty minutes. Over and out.”

Immediately, she called Sam, “Sam, we got another one.”

When they got to the crime scene, there were already had a few deputies there, and forensics were showing up to swarm the place, doing their job with vigorous detail.

Sam felt sick as he looked at the body.

“Do we know who it is?” he asked Jody.

“Used to babysit him as a kid,” she let him know. “Heard that he moved back here, and became a high school teacher after college.” Jody was teary-eyed as she looked at Sam. “I don’t want to see any more of my people killed. What do we do?”

“I have an idea.”

“What is it?”

Sam frowned, and then winced. He ran a hand through his hair, and then over his face. He let out a frustrated, and discontented growl.

“Sam, tell me.”

Sam heaved in a deep breath, and then said, voice rough as it came out, “How do you feel about being bait?”

Rain poured down on Jody, and she raised her hands to grip at the cord that had gone around her neck, securing her to the oak tree, even as it strangled her.

She kicked feebly. The cord cut through her hands. A choked out cry left her, and then she tried to gasp in air. It wouldn’t come in.

Sam. Where was Sam?

He’ll be here. He has to be.

“Your friend won’t be coming,” the darach murmured, the voice of a woman.

No. No.

Jody wanted to ask why, but she couldn’t get air in. Was this how she was going to die?

Sam groaned, his head aching and throbbing fiercely. Blood had trickled into his right eye, and had nearly made its way inside his air. The cut on his injured head was large, and the blood had even soaked into his air. The darach had hit him with a rock, and now it was all coming back to him.

Rain was cleaning the blood off, even while it soaked Sam all the way down to his skin.

He got up, nearly slipped in the mud, and then leaned against a tree.

“Jody…” he rasped.

Dizzy, he picked up the flamethrower he had with him, and then started to run, slipping a great deal on the wet ground, to where they’d left Jody as bait.

He slid down a hill, having thrown himself down it on his back, giving up on walking down that; he would’ve fallen. Sam clambered to his feet once at the bottom, and he blinked blood out of his eyes.

There she was, tied to that tree with the very weapon being used to kill her.

“Hey!” Sam cried.

The darach hissed in some kind of frustration, and then it released the garotte.

Jody gasped, and coughed, but then collapsed to the ground, mud splattering on her cheek.

She didn’t get up. But he knew she was alive. Just unconscious.

Sam came forward as the darach stepped towards him, and he raised the flamethrower. He could barely see in the dark, but he was sure that shadow was the darach raising its hand. A fierce pain took hold of Sam’s body, even as a choking, poisoned wind swept towards him and into his lungs. It went through his throat, his nose, even as his body felt like his bones were splintering.

Sam fell, screaming in agony.

Fight through it, Sam. Fight it.

Jody groaned and shifted on the ground, and the darach turned its power on her. She screamed herself into unconsciousness.

Sam trembled, body in shock as it remembered the pain, but he clambered to his feet, and he ran, putting himself nearly right in front of the darach.

“Say hi to your gods for me, bitch,” he said, pressing the trigger on the flamethrower.

The darach’s screams and wails as it went up in flames were high-pitched, seeming to pierce his eardrums. Sam didn’t let up until it fell to the ground, its body a charred crisp.

He breathed hard, and almost fell, still hurting from his head. He turned, and saw Jody trying to move again. He went to her, getting on his knees.

“Did you do it?” she croaked out.

He held her, and she held him. Was that blood from her palms seeping into his jacket?

“Yeah, I did it,” he assured. “All thanks to you.”

“Glad you could recognize my hard work.”

Sam clapped her on the back, and pulled her closer. “Anytime, Jody.”

He helped her up, and together they stumbled out of the woods, Jody kicking the body of the darach for good measure as they passed it. They made it to the Impala, then to Sioux Falls General Hospital. As they sat in the waiting room, Sam with a hand on Jody’s knee that she was bouncing up and down, she looked at him, and smiled.

“I’m really glad we were able to save people from dying,” she told him.

“Hey, it’s part of the job.”

She leaned into him, as a mother would a child, and Sam grinned despite how out of it he felt and how much he hurt.

“And it feels damn good.”

“It sure as hell does.”

These control features are not what I have been accustomed to seeing here for posting a new post here on Tumblr, and, these colorful icons are not present when I do an edit of an existing post here on Tumblr. There are fewer controls for an edit, and the controls are grey in color, not rainbow color spectrum. The zoom needs to be set at 130% in order to make a new post here on Tumblr, any other zoom setting brings up a different screen where no text can be entered.

With this variety of Tumblr text box, the use of "Ctrl + v" for pasting a screen shot is not possible, I must navigate to the "screenshots" folder in my computer to find the screenshot I just now captured.

That navagation to the "screenshots" folder is not necessary when I do an edit of an existing Tumblr post, when edditing an existing post, I am able to simply use "Ctrl + v" to paste the last screenshot that was captured.

The Centurylink/Google/Tumblr internet terror consortium is using the fact that I can either paste, or must navigate to the "screenshots" folder in some way to frame or set me up as having posted child pornography. The child pornography that is being shown to the federal agents is on a computer that is almost identical the one I use, however, the porn computer is a 15' model, mine is bigger. That computer is sometimes in posession of Lorena Chapman, but the actual pornography of the children is from Myers at 560 Jackpine, is real porography images of children taken at the 560 address. in a barn/shed in the backyard there, and at other places that are not far away from 560 Jackpine, and the Lorena Chapman/Micheal Brassil terror cell at 3701 Russell Road.

It's another example of how Federal Fools who refuse to do their own research are being jacked around by the local authorities who use Myers to do the actual terror in the background, while Lorena Chapman provides the pretty face up front, to please the Federal Fools.

I do have small indications of the significance of Korean War to the Canadian terror army, specifics of the significance are not known. I have only the indication that there is a story told about a pilot, a co-pilot, and a navigator in the cockpit of a DC-9 in Korea. Terminal ideals such as the story of the “Jesus’ Ol’ Lady who ran off with Marcus and was a Russian Whore” is a real Trinity Rules insider ideology that reflects the true nature of the Christian lies told in effort to continue the pirating done by the Vatican. The modern Trinity Rule is closer to Sex, Drugs, and Rock & Roll than it is to anything taught at church. The currently promoted, actual Christian Russian Whore is a Porn Slave by the name of Lola Dolices. She’s like a mascot for the Vatican Pirate Ship.

As explained before, the symbolic pirate ship is a submarine by the name of HMS Eleanor Rigby. The Trinity Rule of language based on sex that is used to propel the boat forward, is the fact of the matter that is the Vatican pirate ship and it’s Captains and crew, which has prevented any research into a notion that the Christian church is a front for global pirating. They have successfully managed to use, and get away scott free, with use of pedophilia, as a cover operation. This simple graphic can be used to demonstrate the basic idea of how the Vatican powered pirate ship with all of it’s British Captains, it’s French speaking scalawag crews, and fame of SAG personalities (includes US Government Elected Officials) have used nitrous oxide airborne gas as a weapon used for taking over almost any company, public safety office, government agency, residential home, US Navy Vessel, or US Military Base.

Every kind of social organized assemblance includes that there is a place where work is done, at that place, there is a separation of power within, where there are leaders who make decisions, and there are workers, who support the existence of the organizes assemblance of people. The workers are separated from the leaders in some way, at a company where products are made, the leaders are the managers, CEO’s, CFO’s, other corporate officers and foreman. The workers are in the factory area, the leaders are separated by some kind of wall, or other divisor, such as the offices in the hallway at the factory.

All it takes is a dinner party, holiday gathering, other reason that the company will have a celebratory event. The event is one where entertainment is provided for both the workers and the leadership, Sometimes just the leadership is at the party where there is entertainment. Either way, all the needs to happen is for that company to show up on a hunting list of the pirates. The pirates get a foot in the door somehow, someone associated to SAG gets a job there in the normal way, that is the foot in the door. When it’s time for the annual Christmas party, that is when the SAG infiltrator suggests that they have connections to some top notch entertainers for the party, and convinces the CEO that Dolly Parton can and will perform at the party. So, arrangements are made for someone like Dolly Parton to come to do the entertainment at the annual Christmas Party at the big corporation.

The drawing shows what could be the office centrally located in the factory, that oval shape. The pentagon shape is for demonstration also, represents the building where the factory is at, and is where the Christmas Party is to be held.

There are some red people, and some green people at the party. The red people are in the big office where all of the leaders are at partying as Dolly Parton sings When Johnny Comes Marching Home.

All that needs to happen, is for the CEO and Dolly Parton to wind up in the CEO office for a private autograph session for a short time. There is a whole parking lot filled with cars outside, one bus is there waiting with some special team SAG Hit Assassins in it dressed as janitors. They are in contact with Dolly the whole time, and she advises of progress towards the private autograph session in the oval office there after the singing is over, and some drinks have been had by all. Dolly releases some nitrous gas in the oval office. The CEO is overwhelmed, and passes out. Dolly leaves, and leaves the door unlocked, as the party is still going on in the main hall. That is when those special people come in to remove the CEO, they have a look-a-like who stays in the oval office, and the real CEO is removed by the special team who only needs to be the janitor team to pull this off. Dolly goes down all of the hallways, to do private autograph session with as many leading managers as possible, and look-a-like replacements have already been arranged by the janitor team. They repeat that down the halls, takes about two hours for the whole job at the Christmas party replacement session. All they need to do is get Dolly (famous entertainer) alone in the private office of the leadership for a short time to release some nitrous gas to overpower the leadership, once all of the look-a-likes have been arranged before the party started, with help from that one foot in the door that was hired the usual way. Dolly goes home after the autographs are signed, her job is done at that point.

Then, with that done, after the party, everyone goes back to work, separated from the leaders in the offices, as they make the products in the factory part of the building. The look-a-likes are all there, being impostors, and staying in their offices, while claiming that they have a cold, or flew, don‘t want to get the workers sick, so are staying away from the rest of the employees.

Meanwhile, special team janitor is torturing all of the leadership in a basement somewhere. They gain all of the information they need to maintain the company, keep the workers working making products. Then, later, those imposters start to clean house at the factory, fire the workers one at time, then bring in SAG friendly workers, or some variation of that.

The simplest explanation is that everything is set up where there is a separation between the leaders, and the workers, even family households have that kind of structure, leaders, and those who are led.

All it takes is to get one gas wielding SAG member into the safe area where the leaders are at for long enough to overpower them with nitrous gas, once the look-a-likes are already to go, on attack day, at the office party so the janitor can do their job of carting the victim away unnoticed. After that, there is ample time to take over the entire company, ship, house, military base with other means. The look-a-likes goal is to stay out of sight during the transition period, so, they don‘t have to do much once they are in the safe oval office area, and say that they have a cold, are sick, and don’t want to infect others, so they just stay in the office, and cancel any appointments they may have, to reschedule another day, with an attack plan in place to take over who ever may have an appointment to see the CEO leadership.

After the smoke clears, about one month, that is when announcement of new ownership is made, the company changes hands officially, and as expected, things are different after the “sale” of the corporation.

The only thing I know about a takeover that includes cellular phones is already contained here in great detail throughout this Tumblr account. The Chinese story is false, is used to cover the truth about the SAG/Britain/Vatican w/Canadian terror soldiers attack on USA.

So, just a reminder that what is written here is as straight forward as it can be written about by someone such as myself who is not trained to make reports of terrorism and is not a news reporter. Everything about the cellular towers network is hijacked by the SAG/Britain/Vatican leadership, does not work the way it’s supposed to, and was designed not to be fully functional from the beginning of the introduction of cellular phones. The phones and internet are all set up to favor the terror army, while leaving the citizens with no way to get help.

There is also that German component that throws a big curve ball into trying to explain what is going on. I have talked about “The Afterswords” terror cells this past year or so, that is the German components if you are reading these entries. Maybe Afterswords could be described as German/SAG/Vatican (Benedict) vs British/SAG/Vatican (Bergoglio/Google).

Also, the Corona Virus looks to be a “Boris Johnson/House of Lords” sort of product, where the COVID 19 seems to be the “Trump/WH Cabinet” equivelent to Corona Virus. Niether of them are an disease, infection, or virus that makes you sick. They are both “Viral” in the speed, length, and breadth at which the armies are advancing the offensives against citizens, all with details designed to draw victims into a medical health provider, and all of those were taken over by the respective terror armies ahead of the “Virus” attack scenario. There are no more medical facilities where US Citizens can get health related treatment. A visit to a hospital is an appointment with death imposed while within those highly controlled environments in the medical establishments. This is not a new thing, the labels “Corona Virus” and “COVID 19“ are relatively new. The Hospital killings have been going on in Oregon for since the Asante Health Three Rivers Medical Center was built in 2001 at 500 SW Ramsey Ave 97527. However, that hospital was built on the graves of the murdered victims who were killed at the Washington Ave hospital, and the Dimmick Ave Hospital. I suspect there was a lot of Medical insurance billing of treatments that murdered patients at those two places never recieved, were murdered, insurance billed for every kind of test and treatment plan as was possible without being cought of noticed, The proceeds seem to have been used to grow the Asante monster into what it has become since 2001. Asante pretty much took over all of the hospitals in the Southern Oregon area as time has progressed.

All of that hospital activity for mass murdering is covered up to make the facilities appear as top rate facilities. They are all loaded up with actors in the lobbies, in the hospital rooms, working as technicians and nurses. The Canadian terror army receives the very best medical care available anywhere, all of them are very healthy and kept healthy while the US Citizens are poisoned to make them sick and go to a doctor. The terror army is all fed the best food at restaurants that were all hijacked, while the US citizens are poisoned or are captured right there at the same restaurant. The terror army is “Forbidden“ to cook meals at home, and the food at the grocery store is like Food Roulette, maybe is poisoned, maybe not. I have many symptoms of repeated poisons from many various means of delivering the poisons, but I have no way to get treatment for those symptoms. That is why I keep saying “Please send medical services to Oregon“ every day and “Bring your own hospital”.

self-care 101 (covid-19 period)

Since we’ve rolled round to another May bank holiday, I thought it’d be nice to share some tips with you. As a homebody, and someone who will do absolutely ANYTHING to avoid one specific boring activity, I’ve racked up quite a long list over the past few years. Obviously, I’m no professional - but I find these help. There’s no specific chronological order to these - just pick and choose as you like!

Get out of bed!

Or lie in if you need to. Whatever makes you feel good

Start off the day with some yoga or meditation, or basic stretches

Or pray for a bit if you’re religious

Make your bed: tuck your sheets in, rearrange your pillows, etc.

Brush your hair and tie it up nicely

Pick out a cute outfit - could even be your favourite PJs - and lay it out

Go take a soothing shower, or a bubble bath

Use a bath bomb, get some nice candles if you feel like it

Put on some nice music to relax to

Try out a new hairstyle or style your hair the way you would if you had somewhere to be!

Slap on some makeup, why not? :) 

Floss your teeth, or maybe use that teeth whitening formula you never picked up again after using it for the first time

Pick out a recipe for a hair mask or face mask and put it on

Before doing any of these, make sure they suit your hair & skin type

E.g. if you have frizzy and dry hair, use a moisturising and rejuvenating mask vs if you have sleek, straight hair - use a volume-enhancing mask. Same goes for your skin - evaluate whether you have dry skin, oily skin or combination 

Stick to the recommended leave in time! It can be extremely difficult to get out later otherwise

Or make your own mask! There’s tons of recipes on YouTube and Google :)

Make yourself a nice breakfast

Breakfast smoothies are amazing! A really simple recipe I use contains a few spoonfuls of oats, handful of fruits (e.g. blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, grapes), honey / sugar by taste and yogurt.

Or a nice bowl of your favourite cereal

Avocado toast - there are so many different varieties of this online, and I bet you’ll find that you like.

A fruit salad!

Eggs done the way you like

A full English if you’re feeling ambitious

Workout for an hour or so

This doesn’t have to be really equipment intense or challenging if you don’t want it to be

Some YouTubers I recommend: Chloe Ting, Emi Wong, Fitness Blender, MadFit, Blogilates, Yoga with Adrienne, etc. 

Don’t over exert yourself. Take longer than the recommended break time between exercises if you need to

Grab a new book, or a book you just enjoy reading

Preferably something that lifts your mood!

Mind out, Mum!

There’s no time more necessary than now to share our techno-wisdom with our elders. 

It is no doubt that at one time in your life you have had to show a parent or grandparent how to use a piece of technology. That might have been showing them how to take a photo, send an email, or even turn the computer on. Whatever the action, it is also most likely that you will have chuckled to yourself at the time; stopping to question how the simplest of actions could appear so complex to these people. Especially to those who once taught us to read, write and ride a bike.

Having been brought up in an age dominated by digital technology, it is hard to imagine how using such devices as smart phones and laptops comes unnaturally to some. In fact, if you asked your parents or grandparents, you’d definitely be shocked to learn the age at which they got their first mobile, when they sent their first email, and at what point their family owned a fully-functioning TV. Chances are, their responses will most definitely not fall within the first 13 years of their lives; an answer which is likely to come from only our current generation. Nonetheless, owing to the ever-growing influence of modern day technology, it is no surprise that more and more members of the older generation are turning to high-tech devices for the simple purpose of keeping up with the world. Yes, grandparents are still able to visit their local corner shop for a copy of the newspaper each day, or call up the number of the catalogue they want to buy a new winter coat from, but there are still so many advantages to be gained from having access to the internet. These include the use of Google, online shopping, and catch up TV; all of which my very own grandparents have gained access to following their recent purchase of an iPad.

So where do we step in?

Unlike us who will receive our shining new iPhone upgrade and have our devices set up and ready to go within an hour of receiving the phone, those who aren’t accustomed to using such devices will struggle to know where to start. And yes, there is that 1000-page document that comes with the device to tell you how to work it, but when you have no idea what you’re looking at to start with, even just getting the gadget to work can be a mission.

As a tech-savvy and knowledgeable generation, it is our responsibility to be there for our parents and grandparents; to show them the ropes and help them keep up with the world. I, for one, am frequently bombarded by questions from my parents about what updates on their phones mean, or how to email our auntie the latest photos of our family holiday. Equally, it is our role to warn our parents about the dangers of the internet by showing them how to protect their information online, and how not to be fooled by those on the prowl for such clueless victims.

Surveillance Capitalism

One of the most pervasive elements of our online activity is the occurrence of surveillance capitalism. This is when the puppeteers of the internet take control of everything that we do online by converting our personal data into something useful and profitable to them. And it’s all out of our control.

Take Google for example. Google is a marvellous platform which allows us to ask almost ANYTHING and receive an answer within seconds of our search. We can ask Google how to change a tire on our car, what time the nearest Nando’s closes, or where to buy the best value top-of-the range makeup. Whatever our search, Google has an answer. And he’s happy to help at no charge. Well, that’s what we think…

Google is in fact, watching our every move. Absorbing our every click into its data base and sharing this information to its many friends; Facebook, Instagram and Amazon. And what do they do with this info? They use it to create targeted advertising tailored to our searches. Project 2: Game/Learning Tool

We began this project by brainstorming a variety of simple things. First, we brainstormed around things we learned in elementary school. Next, we thought of daily processes, followed by different professions, and lastly, our hobbies and interests. Below are the lists I had formed.

I selected my top 6 concepts to use to develop simple wireframe sketches. The concepts were a multiplication table game (inspired by the speed quizzes we would do in elementary school), a roadtripping/map of America game (inspired by my interest/roadtripping hobby - I love the idea of getting in a car and going anywhere - it was a large part of my life even if it was just traveling with my family or friends to the beach or my lacrosse tournaments), the life cycle of a butterfly informative site (inspired by my second grade project of documenting the life cycle of the butterflies we kept in our classroom), a DNA code matching game, an outfit choice game (inspired by my passion for biology and my memory of how cool it was learning about how code matching can completely change your physical appearance and other aspects of your body/personality/health etc.), and a fraction game using fruit (inspired by how we learned fractions drawing fruits or coins on paper). These sketches helped to convey the goal of the game, the interactions with the game, and the visual placements. We split into small groups to discuss our ideas and narrow down the three most enjoyable and feasible ideas. 

I decided the one concept I wanted to use was the Fraction game. I felt I had the most developed concept for it and it would be most feasible to create for my first interactive multi page website. Using this idea, I created a lo-fi paper prototype of the website (see below).

I used this prototype and a task list I created to conduct user testing with two of my classmates. My goal was to observe and document their process to see if they were able to accomplish my task list. The main questions to consider while they were interacting with the prototype were what was the overall experience like, is it a good idea, is it feasible, did you have any difficulties? The following are my two critique notes.

Next, I used Adobe XD to create a static digital wireframe of my site. Then I went on Pinterest and explored Google fonts to create two mood boards that would help me decide which visual experience I wanted my users to have. 

After my critique, I used the feedback and static wireframes as a guide to help me code an interactive wireframe using HTML, CSS and jQuery that my content could later be added into. This part was extremely helpful in the final coding of my site because it helped me visually see where the divs would be and how my content should be included and positioned. Also, any interactions I had not thought of or missed in my static wireframe became evident here and I was able to include them now rather than realizing this later.

I used the mood boards from earlier to create two style tiles/static digital mockups on Adobe XD. These mockups included most of the content that was used in the final site, so it gave a better idea of what the game would look like and how it would function. For both versions, I tried to find header fonts that were playful and childish and pairing that with a simple body copy typeface that would be easier for a child to read. The first version included Fredericka the Great for the header and Raleway for the body copy. The second version included Luckiest Guy for the header and Oswald for the body copy. The first version was more clean cut lines and pastel colors with 2D images. The second version was inspired by a felt board because I remember learning with felt pieces in my childhood, we would be able to move the pieces to accomplish the task. I felt this memory of my interaction with fractions would work well with the movement of the game pieces. However, after critiques, I decided the 2D cleaner version was more visually appealing for the user, so I chose this design when I began coding. I also decided against both pairs of typefaces. My final version uses Short Stack for the header and Open Sans for the body copy.

Using my digital mockup, I catalogued all of the illustrations I would need to create for my site. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create these illustrations and learned to save the files as svg’s so that they appeared most clear when on my site. One difficulty I ran into when coding was that my image files had too much transparent background padding and it was interfering with the jquery clicks. Once I discovered this issue, I re-saved all my illustrations with less background and once the images were updated in the code, my issue was resolved!

I made a copy of my interactive wireframes folder, and began to recode it using my actual content and assets (my illustrations). It was really exciting to see my static concept come to life with jQuery. My favorite parts of the site is the fruit appearing into the basket and the popup modals. The modals were a new challenge for me, so when they worked with the opaque black overlay hiding the main page I felt extremely accomplished. This project allowed me to add to my coding skillset and feel more confident in creating future usable sites. My least favorite part of the coding was the frustrations of the illustrations as I explained above. I could not understand at first why my jQuery was not working because the code appeared right to me, but the behaviors were not occurring on the hide/reveal clicks and manipulating the visibility. However, using inspect on Chrome and changing the z-index helped me find the issue, which was the unnecessary background in the images that began to overlap other images inhibiting their click-ability. Now my game is fully functional and is a good representation of what I had intended when designing the concept in the early stages of this project!
