i do not know how to explain to people that "transmisogyny" is the specific transphobia that trans women + transfems face (often but not exclusively at the hands of cis people), and "transandrophobia" is the specific transphobia that trans men + mascs face (often but not exclusively at the hands of cis people), and that they all come together under the umbrella of "transphobia." these are not opposing concepts nor are they mutually exclusive, to believe in one does not mean non-belief in the other. is there a simpler way of phrasing this. can i be clearer.

Ugh the way fanon Jason calling Tim replacement v.s. canon Jason calling Tim pretender flattens Jason's motivations and the whole Jason and Tim relationship. 'Replacement' directs all of Jason's anger to Bruce. It makes Tim and Jason allies in victimhood. 'Here is this callous man that views us as interchangeable, can't you see that we're nothing to him?' 'Pretender' though... that holds Tim accountable for his role in making Jason's death meaningless. 'You saw everything I was, all that I gave, and you used it as a springboard to become what I should have been' is a lot more complex, and a lot more thematically accurate to Jason's whole deal. It's a larger gap for the characters to bridge, especially when Tim is coming from the perspective that his becoming Robin was not only right, it was necessary.

There's an aspect of Original!Elias Bouchard that makes me so sad to think about in a weird kind of "meta" way.
And that's the fact that he has to be labelled as the "OG" not as Elias.
Technically speaking Elias has been dead for years. It's Jonah that's taken over - literally having his eyes removed and replacing them with his own and living as him (he even seemingly keeps his "old fashioned haircut" on Elias' hair).
And yet we as the audience don't often call that form of Jonah "JONAH". Instead it's Elias, cause he's been Elias for 4 series at this point.
"Elias started the apocalypse", "Elias beat that old man to death with a metal pipe" when it was never really Elias in the first place.
He's been so robbed of his own identity that not even death can spare him; all of Jonah's actions in his body are recognised as him.
(Btw this isn't me saying you can't call Jonah!Elias straight up Elias, I do that regularly ofc. I'm just being emo rn lol)

the fandom: Jay is the smallest ninja and has no muscle strength.
Meanwhile Jay:
Are you telling me that if Jay were a weak twink with noodle arms he would be able to lift Nya like she was nothing over his head and throw her into oblivion? or the time he hung from a rope with a vengestone ball on his ankle and A SNAKE clinging to his leg in EP60? I don't think so
Btw Skybound being a cursed season as always, amazing

I think what I want to get into with the "Anyone can do harm." thing that I keep beating yall over the head with is that literally anyone, anyone at all can do harm it's not "in your DNA" to be an abuser or written in the stars that you'll be a predator.
Whatever image you have of an abuser in your head, drop it and replace it with your favorite person in the world and you'll probably be closer to the truth than you realize.
It's easy to address harm when it's coming from someone you already hate.
I see it happen all the time. Someone you couldn't stand for no real reason does something heinous then all of a sudden here comes the avalanche of "I always knew they were a fucked up individual."
No, you didn't.
There is no possible way you could have known, you just already didn't fuck with them before they started doing something you could use to justify your hatred of them. I'm guilty of it too! I'm petty, mean, vindictive, and yes! I'm way quicker to believe something bad about someone I hate versus someone I love because I'm human. Still, y all gotta learn to move past that initial "Well, they were always nice to me!" gut feeling and understand that nobody truly knows anyone and anyone can be capable of anything. Even victims. Even you.

non-comprehensive list of potential reasons Sgt Sanderson was dubbed "Roach" and it stuck
extremely difficult to kill
undeterred by loss of limb (once lost a finger but they sewed it back on and it was mostly fine)
undeterred by attempted drowning (lung capacity go brr) (surprisingly good swimmer for a guy who doesn't like the water)
Fast and Sneaky When He Wants To Be
steals bites of any food left unprotected during meals
gets into other people's lunches left in the fridge/cabinets
drawn to booze
southern
thrives in the heat, miserable in the cold
personal space is a mess
common cause of jumpstartles on base (round a corner/turn around/look up and he's suddenly there in the corner)
voted must likely to survive the apocalypse (not for prepper reasons. bit of a survivalist though)
often seems like he could have just crawled out from under a gas station chest freezer
general indestructible insect vibes
brought to you in accordance with stuff I know about roaches

just remember. if you have problems with your numbers being disorganized.
introducing: tables
tables are your best friend. but can also be your worst enemy should you mistakenly double cross them.
equip your numbers in the right slot to get full benefits of the numbers
later you can enchant your numbers in a table with an alchemical formula to get a new, refined result
