Having a Neptune in the 1st house can feel like your living in a dream. It’s harder for you to not get taken up by your imagination. This placement is known for dreaming with their eyes open. A lot struggle from Maladaptive Daydreaming. Meditation/ Breath work can help with grounding these people.

So, finally read Silverborn, plus reread the first three books. Marvelous time had by all, almost cried twice over Jupiter's letters etc etc.

Anyways, been left with some questions and thought I'd post some of my favourites for prosperity.

-Jupiter inherited Octavia? So who did Bertram build her for and what happened to them?

-Also, what's up with Bertram's nosebleeds? Love a magical nosebleed, of course, but I need to know.

-What happened to the other cursed children? Like, Jupiter says they're safe, but...? I need more.

-What is the long-term plan for Lam? Like, she's a princess, is she going back to her people and leaving the Wunderous Society or what?

-the whole Free State/Wintersea split. Why? When did it happen? What the hell is up with the Wintersea party? What are the implications of the Free State having a prime minister? Is it just for aesthetics or what? Maud starting with a M? Bertram and Squall both being ominous about the Party?

-When will Mog get to go on an expedition etc with Jupiter? Like, that has to be something that will happen. Or else she has to go and rescue/fetch him at some point.

-Side note: Jack's plan!

-the Hotel Deucalion. It was 'a wreck' when Jupiter took it on, and it is a location that draws in Wunder. So was it an abandoned Wunderous Act? Squall says he's been coming for years, but he doesn't know the inner workings, so is it the work of one of his peers? And, side note, had Squall been monitoring Jupiter's monitoring of Mog?

-What drew Jupiter to the Deucalion in the first place?

-the Deucalion's name? Greek flood myth?

-Black bird chandelier for Mog. Pink ship for Jupiter. What was it before that?

-What actually happened that day in Courage Square? Like, Ezra "sought to own the city", rocked up with some monsters, killed the eight other Wundersmiths (will check this on next reread), and then the city exiled him? Pyrrhic victory? I need more details.

-We know why Jupiter became Mog's patron, but why had he refused to take on patronage before then?

-Squall's decision to make Mog his heir? "Rise to take my place", two mentions of the "black ice at the heart of you". And, of course, the nursery rhyme with crowlings and rabbits (Emmett??? Meredith???) and such.

So running this poll caused me to reawaken my headcanons on which Sailor Moon character would be the Batfamily's favorite. I think I did this before but I'm being more thoughtful right now.

Bruce Wayne: In the tags I was musing about this, and basically, Tuxedo Mask is very like him (Sad orphan, wealthy, introverted, kind of uptight, has less powers than the others, like high places) but that would actually annoy him because he doesn't like himself. I settled on Sailor Jupiter as his favorite, he relates to her having a similar background (orphan, martial arts skills) but the way she's able to be so openly sweet and nurturing, when he struggles to show those sides of himself, makes him admire her, annnd that also really reminds him of Dick. He also really likes Sailor Pluto, vibes with her loneliness and mystery. He is,to the surprise of many, a Chibiusa fan, because she's essentially Usagi's Robin and she gives him parenting feels. Hotaru as well, for the goth aesthetic and general introversion and reminding him of Cass.

Dick Grayson: Sailor Moon. He thinks she's very funny and sweet and loves her stupid speeches. I think he'd also be a Chibi-Usa fan and passionate defender. He does find it very funny how much like Bruce Tuxedo Mask is (and he appreciates his ridiculous speeches) so he's a fave too.

Barbara Gordon: She likes Mercury a lot, but her true favorites are Sailor Venus and Sailor Jupiter, they remind her of Dick and Dinah, and she just thinks they're fun. Hotaru also gives her a lot of feelings for reminding her of Cass.

Jason Todd: I think he'd like Sailor Mars and Sailor Uranus about equally (and he also likes Sailor Neptune). He really relates to how Haruka believes in doing what's necessary, even killing, and even vibes with how she's conflicted sometimes. Michiru is hard for him to pin down but he does really like her.

Tim Drake: Immediately Sailor Mercury came to mind. Considering his taste in friends and love interests he might like Sailor Venus (though the fact she reminds him of Kon would just annoy him half the time) but yeah, I think he'd vibe with Mercury the most, not just the "she's smart one" thing but he'd find her sweet and root for her to come out of her shell. He'd also be fond of Tuxedo Mask.

Stephanie Brown: Sailor Moon, but Mars and Venus are close seconds. She loves silly girls and she loves angry girls. She's fond of Hotaru too because she reminds her of Cass.

Cassandra Cain: Sailor Saturn, she really relates to her, but she also likes Sailor Moon a lot, mostly because she reminds her of Steph a bit and Usagi triggers her protective instincts.

Kate Kane: Like many a lesbian (myself included), Uranus and Neptune meant a lot to her when she was young and even if it weren't for that I think she really vibes with their personalities. Uranus might have the edge considering her taste, but I'm going to give her Neptune as a fave, she finds her intriguing.

Damian Wayne: Sailor Mars, self explanatory imo. Also he pretends he doesn't actually like the show and calls it stupid. He likes Luna and Artemis and Diana a lot.

Selina Kyle: Luna and Artemis and Diana lmao. But as far as humans go, Sailor Neptune. Her elegance and general loyalty and moral conflict appeal. She also likes Sailor Mars, and does feel protective of Sailor Moon. Tuxedo Mask reminding her of Bruce alternately makes her frustrated with him and have affection for him just like real life.

Alfred: Tuxedo Mask, he likes his taste in clothing and yep, reminds him of Bruce. He also likes Sailor Moon.

I have not read enough comics with Duke to pin him down, I'm sorry, (Maybe he'd like Sailor Moon? From what little I've read?) Same with Harper.

Why I picture the big three kids with Jason instead of Thalia

Now I have seen at least two posts which I am 90% sure I have queued for reblog where the people claim that the concept of the male little three is due to sexism. That it should be:

Percy, Thalia, Nico or

Percy, Jason, Hazel

But honestly I reject this form of fandom policing. When I got into pjo fandom and I hardly knew who Nico even was, I preferred the male little three fanarts over the ones with Thalia, and after knowing a bit more canon, my preference is solidified.

Hazel is cool, but since I haven't spent time learning about HOO, I don't care much about her or the other HOO characters. Plus, I find Nico way cooler as a Hades kid than her. His powers are awesome!

Here are my simple, non-sexist reasons for preferring Percy, Jason and Nico as my big three kids, instead of Thalia:

Character preference:

TLDR - I dislike Thalia. Neutral on Jason. Next!

Fanart Aesthetic:

I just think the boys look better together than Thalia with her cousins. One of my favourite fanarts of them is the ones where they have Ancient Greek outfits with the laurels. They are so cute! There's something about Thalia that doesn't make her fit. Not a fan of punk characters and with her hunters' get-up, she doesn't belong in my opinion. Especially as the boys get older and she's stuck as a teenager. Not my vibe.

Jason has more canon potential to complete the cousin group:

Thalia and Percy have a great relationship. But Thalia and Nico hardly interact. Plus, Nico probably wouldn't be happy being around her much due to what happened with Bianca. Jason, on the other hand, had the potential to be a great bro for Percy AND he has a good relationship with Nico. PLUS, the three of them represent the unity of the camps.

Leadership:

I like those video edits that showcase the parallels of the boys' vulnerabilities. All the boys have earned huge leadership roles, which set them apart. Thalia is a lieutenant of the hunters...but let's be real. Jason defeated a titan. Thalia was a nepo baby and got power handed to her. There is no comparison.

Plot relevance:

One of the things I hate about Thalia is her total irrelevance after book 3. She had so much buildup, interesting backstory with Annie and Luke...then she becomes Artemis' lapdog and vanishes from the dealings of the plot. Her connection to Percy and Nico feels distant because of this. She's in a different world. The boys, on the other hand, have major roles in both series and are integral to the action. Honestly, Thalia could have stayed a tree, and nothing would have changed, really.

Standing up to their fathers:

Between the two of them, Jason is the true rebel to match Nico and Percy, especially Nico. Percy doesn't really stand up to Poseidon per se, but he has been shown to make his case to Poseidon, eg. petitioning to keep Bessie alive and convincing Poseidon to fight Typhoon. Jason spent his entire life loyal to the gods...yet when he meets Zeus for the first time, he stands up for Apollo to his father with little hesitation. Not even Percy did that, and he actually knows Apollo! What has airhead Apollo done for Jason? But, like Nico, he was willing to call out his father when he saw an injustice.

Zeus has helped Thalia more than Jupiter ever helped Jason. Zeus "saved" her life and provided a guide for her. Jupiter offered up Jason as a token to Juno/Hera. Thalia spent her life cursing the gods with Luke, but she was obviously a sellout because every time she met Zeus, she was like, "Thank you, Daddy 🥰". Not faulting her for wanting parental approval, but the point still stands. Thalia is a faker and it's probably the best that she and Luke never met again. If Thalia was that important, she would have been by Percy's side in TLO demanding better for demigods. But Rick literally took her out of the climax with a dumb statue. Wasted potential.

Anyway, these are my reasons why Jason is better than Thalia and deserves his spot in my version of the little three.

Karina and Lee Jaewook: Synastry reading

Venus conjunct Venus: An admiration of ones own beauty and aesthetics. They are passionate together and this brings lots of drive into their bond. Tons of harmony in that area. 2nd house libra venus @ 15°

i really like her libra venus placement. libra is ruled by venus, the planet of love, beauty, sensuality, pleasure and harmony. she’s very kind and has a big heart. she’s very beautiful as well, the way she talks can get her in trouble because she be talking people out their pants because of how flirty she comes off. she’s a pleaser but not in a toxic way, she just wants you to feel good if you’re one of her close people (duh me). her having her venus placement at home or ‘domicile’ is just so fitting i feel. venus is a very feminine planet and it being in the house of values, the 2nd house implies she has strong values and enjoys the finer things in life. she’s all about her kate spade yk. venus attracts effortlessly and it being in the 2nd house suggests she’s practical and down-to-earth. her venus being in libra means libra energy can roam freely and is very potent. it being at a gemini degree, 15°, it deals with a lot of ‘twos’ or double and i think it goes well with libra because it’s not only both air signs but libra is represented by the scales that has two sides that balance out. she’s a lover girl so the fact that she has this placement really suites her so well.

Astrology character analysis: Glinda/Galinda from Wicked (2024)

Rising/ascendant

After watching the musical film in theaters, the zodiac sign that suits Glinda’s ascendant is Libra. Why? In astrology, Libra is the sign that rules the celestial body of Venus and seventh house of companionship, long term relationships, love, and beauty. And I strongly believe this fits Glinda’s character more because of her mannerism, attitude, and honestly the color scheme and fashion reminds me of a Libra. The most well known colors for Libras are actually pink, blue, and green or other colors.

Also, I think the reason it makes more sense for Libra being Glinda’s rising sign because her character speaks Libra to me, and Libras are the people pleasing type, and her being a good witch makes sense to me. Because from what I believe Libras are good hearted especially people with Libra placements in their big three including their sun, moon and ascendant.

Sun and house placement

This is tricky because I think Cancer or Pisces suit her. Personally for her character in the film, Glinda to me is a Pisces because Pisces is associated with Neptune, Jupiter, and the twelfth house of spirituality, illusions, deception, magic, and dreams. Elpheba turned to the dark side because she saw the horrors because of her powers, and emotions which fuels her powers which are the reason why they’re powerful. While Glinda has magical powers for good intentions which makes Elepheba’s polar opposite.

Will Glinda get back together with her friend Elpheba or remain enemies forever?

Before I forget, moon in the first house for Glinda she’s ignoring a part of herself that Elpheba might understand Glinda if she listen or understand her as being polar opposite of her. Natives with moon in the first house are emotional and people with celestial bodies in the first house including the Moon. I think Glinda tries her best to not let her emotions cloud her judgment, which is the reason why she’s good at managing her emotions than Elpheba.
