Like. I understand lawrusso as a concept. The inherent homoeroticism of a karate rivalry plus their weird state of always being divorced but never being married plus narrative foils. But for me it really just does fall flat because the crux of them getting together has to be that johnny has to be sorry for. Knights of Queen Headcanons

Headcanons for my favourite team ! And also to celebrate my Edgar cosplay that I wore for the first time today !

-All of them were trained to be real knights by their coach Aaron Adams. The best of the best are the ones that would still represent England as adults. (Johnny, David, Lance, Edge, Peter, Gary, Paul, Éric, Edgar, Philip, Servilius, Nick and Mikey (so yeah most of them)).

-They may have lost most of their matches in Season 3, but they managed to win every match for the qualifications.

-Johnny hates losing to a point where he needs to flip or break something to calm his nerves.

-David and Peter are the only ones that can use weapons such as guns and riffles.

-If Edgar is not on the field (mostly due to injuries), the secondary captain is Lance Ralton.

-Edge Ripper is a Strandead ; he died when he was younger but he came back as the one he looks now. The others know about that so they believe in Strandeads and they can convince others that they are not that scary for some nor violent.

-A lot of their supporters actually worships Edge for this reason and his talent for heavy metal. Even Elieth (future member and Edgar’s future girlfriend) will also grow found of heavy metal (even their future daughter !).

-All of them are great at music, dancing and singing.

-If you wanna know about technological stuff, Peter Coole is your man.

-Gary and Philip often cook together for their teammates, and they love to teach the others some new recipes.

-Ironically, when he joined the team, Gary was a reserved guy. He was even a bit rude and careless, but with the help of his team, it was easier for him to get closer to people.

-The reason Paul’s friends decided to disband their group is because they got jealous that their little guy friend Paul was called to represent England’s team. In other words, they are jealous (Pretty bad friends, hey ? But don’t worry he got new ones that are a 100% better !).

-Paul and Éric immediately fell in love with each other, but they were too shy (and a bit embarrassed to admit it). They were keeping their relationship secret.

-Both David and Éric hates naïve people.

-After Éric gave up on tennis due to an arm injury, he goes into football. But after the FFI, he wanted to go back to tennis but he also wanted to keep playing football, so his teammates and their coach helped him pay an operation to implant an arm prosthesis so he could play tennis. It is slightly visible on the outside, but he doesn’t mind, because thanks to that, he can enjoy playing tennis again. He will even win Wimbledon when he wasn’t even an adult yet !

-Edgar’s bravery and sereine demeanor is an example to all of his teammates. He is able to calm everyone down, even Johnny.

-They all have at least one middle name, some of them even have two :

-Both Edgar and Philip are really technical : they are great at dribbling for example.

-According to the team, Philip is slightly faster than Edgar.

-When Freddy was the keeper, Servilius was often in the bench. He was observing his teammates, to a point when he secretly manage to learn Excalibur as he wanted to be stronger and more useful to the team. He still prefers to be a goalkeeper, but he can go on the attack. He already surprised everyone by joining in the middle of the match to strike a goal (so yeah, pretty much like Mark Evans).

-Despite being a teenager, Servilius is already a wonderful butler, better than most adults.

-Nick is learning tricks and witchcraft so he could one day accomplish his dream of opening a sorcerer school.

-Mikey absolutely adore creating new clothes that fit his teammates’ personalities. So yeah, a lot of their newly designed clothes are made by Mikey Richards.

Constantine was nursing a nice Scotch Whiskey as he sat in his new favourite pub, when walked in a very familiar face. Red hair, stunning violet eyes, and pink lips that were just begging to be kissed. 

Jasmine, Constantine remembered her name belatedly. They’d had a fling while he’d been on a case in the states and the woman had been half the reason Constantine had had any fond memories of the trip coming back. 

What were the odds of them meeting back again on his side of the pond? Fate was clearly at play here, nudging him back onto the beautiful woman’s path. 

Constantine downed his drink and turned towards Jasmine, as he raised his hand to wave her over, when the door opened again and in walked another very familiar face.

Crystal eyes and soft black hair, the man who walked in had Constantine nearly choking on his spit. Because that was Daniel, ie the other half of the good memories from the states.

“Fuck,” Constantine mumbled under his breath as he turned away from the two. What the hell were these two doing here together!

As he tried to make himself look smaller, he tried to obscure his face with his empty glass, while his mind whirled for a plan to get out of there and fast.

“John!” Came Jasmine’s voice, and Constantine closed his eyes, pained, before he steadied himself and fixed a smile on his face as he turned around. He could still salvage this. He could.

“Jasmine!” He said back as if he’d just recognized her, as she approached him. Daniel hadn’t seen him yet, but by the curious glance he was sending Jasmine, that wouldn’t hold true for long. “What are you doing here?”

“Me and my baby brother are on a vacation to celebrate my getting my diploma,” she said with a brilliant smile.

Constantine could feel a pit form in his stomach. “Baby brother?” He repeated weakly.

“Oh, let me introduce you,” she said before turning back. “Danny!”

Constantine could feel his battered soul withering away as he watched Daniel make his way over to them. 

“Johnny!” Daniel exclaimed joyfully. “Is that you? What are the odds!”

“Haha, yeah, those are some crazy odds,” Constantine said through his gritted teeth.

Jasmine turned towards her brother - her baby brother! - with a confused little frown on her face, even as she kept her smile. “You know John?”

“Boy do I,” Daniel said with a sly wink in Constantine’s direction that had the man wishing he could teleport.

Constantine laughed weakly as he tried desperately to figure out how to steer the conversation elsewhere, but it was too late.

“Oh?” Jasmine let out, still confused, and it was like watching a car accident in slow motion. “When did you meet?”

“Last summer,” Daniel said, “I told you about him, remember?”

“No,” Jasmine said dubiously. “The only guy you told me about was-“

Her head turned so fast, Constantine could almost hear the crack.

“John,” she started calmly. “Tell me this isn’t what I think it is.”

“Depends what you think it is?” Constantine tried for relaxed and knew he had missed by a mile.

“Jazz?” Daniel said, as he frowned confusedly.

“He’s the guy I told you about.”

Daniel’s eyes widened before narrowing to slits as he fixed his gaze on the magician.

“John, would you care to explain?” Jasmine asked, icily calm. 

Had Daniel’s teeth always been this pointy? 

Constantine gulped.  “Not really, no.”

What I find funny is that if Simon's girlfriend was apart of the 141st, ie: mechanic!reader (I must write it, screw chemistry) is that Johnny and you would be best friends

ghost likes the spice to your blood when you're afraid, so he likes to make himself as big as possible before he pins you to the ground to feed. he likes to chase you a bit, to give you a chance of escaping so he can taste your devastation when he wraps an arm around your stomach and holds you to him

johnny likes the sweet taste of you when you're coming for him. loves the overwhelming rush of endorphins he can literally taste, always overwhelms you with sensation just before getting you off when he wants to feed. likes to hurt you just a bit while getting you off, scrambles your little brain up until you have no idea what you're feeling (likes to moan in your ear about how much you enjoy it, how he can taste that you like it)

one of the most appealing things to me about captive blood bag vampire au's is the like... necessary aftercare, kinda? like ghost and johnny need you to stay alive, so they might do all sorts of horrible and cruel things to you when they want to feed (ie: whenever they want), but they'll hand feed you your favorite foods and keep you tucked up in a soft nest to rest

ghost in particular takes special enjoyment in bandaging your bites. he's got a sort of fascination with how humans heal (he's old enough that he hardly remembers what it was like to have a scab) and he checks your wounds on an extremely strict schedule. likes to compare your bruises, compare your scars and see how they're healing. never lets you hide from him or try to take care of the wounds yourself - if he did it to you, he's taking care of it too

johnny likes to use you as essentially a body pillow/emotional support human. he gets real needy after he feeds, and you're too weak to try and move away from him, so cuddles post-feeding aren't optional. it's not rare for ghost to find the two of you curled up in bloody sheets - no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to train johnny out of being a messy eater

as someone (afab) who went through sexual abuse as a child for years and didn’t experience her first orgasm until 21 due to it i want to thank you for writing Ghost with his sexual traumas. it makes me feel seen. the struggles with touch, even platonic kind, and feeling disgusting when wanting sex are so real. not many people want to address it as part of his story so again, thank you.

I'm really sorry that you've had to endure that trauma and carry its ill effects with you all this time.

No one likes to speak about sexual abuse. People like to pretend it doesn't exist. Abuse is a terrible burden to bear but I'm glad that you have healed enough to share your story with me and my followers.

I've also had some abuse happen as a child but it's so fuzzy and indistinct that I've never actually mentioned it to anyone in person. Mainly out of fear that perhaps it didn't happen.

As for Ghost, I think most people gloss over his trauma for a multitude of reasons. From what I've seen, the fandom likes to give him the libido and manners of a raging bull. And while I see nothing wrong with that, I think that characterization loses a lot of Ghost's nuance for the sake of the fandom's sexual gratification.

He is first and foremost a survivor (of pretty much every trauma known to man).

Now, that's not to say that I see him as a soft man either. Any sweetness has been beat out of him by the cruel world and the cruel people who've broken him in time and time again. Canonically, he has his moments of "weakness" (ie. telling his backstory in 3rd person to calm down hostages, or guiding Johnny to freedom in Las Almas, showing his face to Price, the 141, and Los Vaqueros, etc.). All this to say, that when I write for Ghost I try to make him as complex as possible and try to include nods to his trauma.
