I'm really glad you're excited about my AU ^v^, but as for how to pronounce "Magne"... Sorry. But it seems I'm just as lost as you are in this. 😅👉👈 Because while I have my own interpretation based on my acquired accent, apparently there's more than one way to say it! Depending if you're French, American, or Norwegian just to name some examples. I've heard the different ways people read it out loud, along with its different meanings, and my verdict ended up being: It's fine as long as you tried. XD There doesn't seem to be a universal way of speaking it as I've only seen people be as confused as us (but if there is, I may have also missed it) and it just doesn't seem worth stressing about atm. Maybe someone else would know better, but personally, I pronounce it as "Magh-Neh" just cause my Filipino reading comprehension first thought of it that way and I stuck with it. Me: In this case, it's one of my brother's kids. He has four of them.

Me: One of them is ... kinda figuring some stuff out, gender-wise, so I'm using gender-neutral language for them until they ask me to use something different. Just giving them space, you know? They're a kid, they need some time. So: my brother has four kids, and I have three nephews and a nibling. (Decides not to mention bff's kids, whom I have also adopted as niblings.)

I just . Repeating "characters are tools" you end up erasing so much about arashi's character and motivations and interactions with other characters if you avoid using her pronouns aka avoid showing she's transgender. It's on the same level of frustration with the translators i had when i saw they had Mika speaking standard English, there's a LOT that gets lost if you don't show those little things.

Hey y'all please I know it's scary but if you've graduated in the past year make sure you know exactly what's up with your student loans (federal and private).

You should have gotten emails from places like Advantage or Navient or whatever pestering you about your loans and you may want to ignore them thinking they're scams. No they are your loan servicer, corporations that the government hands over management of your federal loans to.

The email should tell you how to register for an account which will let you see your loan payments. They'll probably be in the hundred's of dollars depending on how long it's been since you graduated.

Don't fret! Thanks to Bidens efforts (the like one good thing he's doing), you can easily get put on the SAVE plan, where the department of education pays your interests and you make minimum payments based on your current income (which, if you're following me, probably isn't that high).

Honestly, I'd recommend calling and asking about the SAVE plan. The lady was actually super nice (I have aidvantage so your experience may differ) and my minimum payments went from like $400 a month to $0 (now they're $10 bc I got a raise last summer)

And please, for the love of god, keep an eye on your account. I thought I had set up autopay but for the past couple of months autopay wasn't on, so I got charged $30 in late fees.

These loan servicers will try to wring as much money as they can out of either you or the government. You need to babysit them and make sure everything is up to snuff.

I'd also recommend saving and making large payments every once in a while to push down your total debt. That's what the SAVE plan is great for. Instead of using all your money to pay for interest, you use that money to push down the principle.

I just found out that the compression brace I’d been wearing to help with pain on my arm while doing tasks for the past three years—while it felt really good to wear—was actually slowly causing me more and more problems because the issue was that my insides were getting squished and inflamed, and compressing them together more was only adding to them being further squished together.

So please do NOT immediately reach for the first band-aid fix because some random person on social media told you it’s okay to self-treat your problems. Please always check with a professional first. You may think it’s nothing and well it feels better to use so it must be helping! But you are not an expert, that random tumblr blog or tiktok account is not an expert, and you could be fucking up your body more than you realize :’)

rat markings are easy enough to understand but rat colors are so complicated ?? they all have multiple different names and it's so easy to mix them up. for example american blue is also called sky blue and powder blue. there's also british blue, which is the same gene but slightly darker. there's russian blue, which is caused by a different gene and is a darker color, and russian silver, which is a combination between american and russian blue. most of these also have agouti variants.
