the thing about newmann’s drift compatibility that drives me NUTS is the fact that it doesn’t even have to be spoken. they function almost as one unit. they’ve existed in being around and with each other for so long that they can’t not be that anymore. they’re each a key piece of who the other is that there is no more Newt without Hermann and there is no Hermann without Newt because they have shaped each other. they’re a part of each other. they’re so tangled up into each other even before the drift that they don’t have to voice any of it because they just Know.
look i just think paladins are interesting because they're not might makes right, they're right makes might. my god only lets me hit you with the force of a thousand screaming angels because i helped that old lady cross the street yesterday. i think that's funny
uhhh this is really messy and took me like 8 hours, but i feel like if i don’t finish this whole 6 minute animation im never gonna share a single thing of it, so im making sure i do not do that

I don't wanna further hijack that poor poll, but the thing about Harrow's schizophrenia is that it's canon. The author has confirmed it, and shared that it's based on her own experience.
It's a pretty obscure bit of canon, so of course there's no shame in not already knowing, but that's why I'm so obnoxiously persistent about letting people know.
Whatever else is up with Harrow, autism or cptsd or any number of likely headcanons, she is also schizophrenic. I feel like that's too important to be handwaved away as a difference of opinion.
