Can I see you tonight?
“You are doing WHAT? Y/N, are you out of your fucking mind?”
The slightly annoyed voice shouting at you through your phone was no other than your best friend. “You cried so much because of that man-whore and now you’re going to his place? What is wrong with you?”
Fair enough, you had asked yourself that as well. “I can’t believe you’re doing this. What’s your motive?”
You sighed in defeat. “See, I thought about that, too. It’s true, JB hurt me badly. And I should be over him and all but I’m not. I am still thinking about him, wishing that it would be different. I… I miss him. And I haven’t heard from him in so long, I just.. I just want to know what he’s got to say to me. Can’t you understand that?”
Your friend sighed in annoyance. “What are you wearing?”
That question caught you by surprise. “Huh?”
“Y/N, don’t play dumb with me. What are you wearing?”
You looked down at yourself and started describing your outfit. Black sports leggings, red hoodie and leather boots. “Oh, you mean the sports leggings that accentuates your bubble butt? And the red hoodie that makes your eyes pop? And not to forget the leather boots that look sexy as fuck on you?”
You gulped, not saying a word. “What are you wearing underneath?”
It was pointless to lie, so you told her the truth. “Red lacy thong..”, you mumbled. “And?” You rolled your eyes, thankful that she couldn’t see it. “No bra.”
“Y/N, I swear to god. You are going over there because you want him to fuck you! Seriously? That bastard behaved like he fell for you only to ghost you and you’re thinking of fucking his dick?”
Hearing her talk like that made your stomach turn. She wasn’t all wrong but she wasn’t all right either. Did you put a lot of thought into your outfit? Of course you did. When Jaebeom ditched you it hurt like hell, so naturally you wanted payback. Getting dolled up, showing off your goodies to tease him – anything really that would make him regret dumping you.
You thought of all possible scenarios in your head. Would he apologize and confess his love to you? Would he fuck you and make you leave? Would he apologize and introduce a new girlfriend to you? Would he even be at home or was this all a prank? Endless possibilities roamed your head until you decided to stop thinking. The last thing you needed was a headache.
“Listen, I know you worry about me and I appreciate that. I am curious what he has got to say to me. And if he isn’t saying anything at all, I can at least ask why he ended things the way he did. Anything after that? Total uncertainty. Maybe I’ll see him and be turned off by him. Maybe I understand his ways and feel empathy for him. Maybe I decide I am done with him and leave. Or maybe I’ll use him just like he used me… It’s been a while and a girl got needs. Is that noble? No. But the world is complex, it’s not black and white. Especially not with JB. At least, I want to be prepared.”
You hung up as you arrived at his place. You scanned the bell for his name, taking a deep breath before pushing it. “Jaebeom, please don’t make me regret this.”
His apartment was on the third floor. You took each step nervously, not knowing what to expect from him. You were wondering if his heart was racing as fast as yours. When you made it to his floor you noticed his door being open ajar, him being nowhere in sight though. You collected yourself one last time before grabbing the handle and entering.
“JB?”
He was rushing to the front door, cheeks slightly red because he didn’t make it on time. “Y/N! I’m so happy to see you. Come on in!”
You took a good look at him. He was dressed casually – black joggers and a white shirt that accentuated his defined body. His hair was longer though, falling into his beautiful features effortlessly. He still had the same aura about him. He was confident in a silent, down to earth way. “Fuck”, you muttered under your breath. Hating him just got a lot harder.
“Did you eat? I cooked for us.” He beamed you a sly smile and ushered you into the kitchen. It smelled heavenly and you started to relax for the first time. You were too nervous to eat before, so you welcomed the pleasant smell of your favorite dish. “I made you tteokbokki. It’s your favorite, right?”
You thought back to the first time you had tteokbokki with him. It felt like ages ago, even though it only had been months. You were sitting on his couch eating, trying your best not to go up in flames as it was way too spicy for you. JB looked at you concerned. “Is it good?” You took a deep breath, nodding. “Yes, but it’s so fucking spicy!” He sprinted over to you immediately. “Oh, let me extinguish the heat then.” And with that he kissed you – sweetly and innocently.
You got pulled out of your memories as he handed you a plate. “Come on, let’s eat.” You barely touched your food – not because it was too spicy but because you were too nervous to eat. Up ‘til now you only talked about irrelevant things – what you had been up to, work, your family, plans for the remaining year. Jaebeom barely looked at you which you took as a sign of his nervousness. Why was he nervous though? You were the one that got rejected.
He got up and put on some music, dimming the lights to change the mood. Your stomach churned again, you had never been this nervous with him. He sat next to you on the black couch and just watched you.
“What?”
“Sorry, I, I thought this would be easier but it’s not.. It’s hard for me actually.”
You were confused. “What is?”
He grinned embarrassed. “Seeing you again. I know I fucked up and I wanted to talk about it but now that I’m actually seeing you it’s so hard.” He gulped nervously.
A ping of relief washed over you. He wanted to apologize, that was good! But you wouldn’t go easy on him, you wanted to see him suffer. You turned around and faced him directly, your doe eyes looking at him innocently while you were licking your lips seductively.
“Go on. You can do it, JB.”
He laughed. God, you missed his voice so much. The deep, honeylike voice that whispered the sweetest and naughtiest things into your ear.
“I wish I could find the right words and give you a proper explanation, Y/N. But I wasn’t in the right mind back then. I felt so lost.”
He took a halt and waited. That was not enough, no. You wanted more, you wanted a proper explanation from him. Maybe you needed to help him start?
You stood up and re-positioned yourself – on his lap facing him intimately. Jaebeom’s eyes widened in shock. His hands travelled to your sides automatically, squeezing your hips and ass. You caressed his face, tucking the lose strands of hair behind his ear.
“I am listening, Jaebeom.”
You felt him getting hard underneath you, grinning vigorously. He was holding back so much and you knew.
“I had been single for a short while when we met. And I wanted to keep it that way. You know, have some fun and move on. And it worked perfectly with all the girls before you but you y/n, you were different.”
You saw the pain in his eyes and felt good. It was petty but you were hurt and now you wanted him to suffer, too. You placed sweet little kisses along his jawline, whispering. “Different how?”
Jaebeom sighed heavily, trying to control himself.
“You were one of a kind. You still are.”
You let go of his jaw and watched him carefully.
“I had never met someone like you, y/n. You are so beautiful and funny. Smart and creative. Like I could talk to you about the most stupid stuff as well as my biggest fears. I was so drawn to you, like a moth to a flame. I felt my best when I was with you. But also my… worst.”
The last part caught you by surprise. You wanted to get up and get some space between the two of you but he held you tight by your wrists.
“Listen to me, please. I felt my worst because I knew I couldn’t live up to you. I wasn’t the man you deserved to be with. I was acting like a big fuckboy, running away from my demons and facing different pussies instead of my baggage. I didn’t deserve to be with you.”
You started to tear up. Never ever had you thought of this possibility. Did you think of him leaving you because you were not good enough? Yes. Did you think of him leaving because you sucked in bed? Yes. Did you think of him leaving because you were just not what a guy wanted? You bet. But this?
His honesty caught you off guard.
„I knew that you wouldn‘t let go of me, y/n. I saw it in your eyes. So I did what I always do best: fuck up. I had to hurt you so badly, hoping that you would forget about me. Did you…?” He paused for a brief moment. “Did you forget about me?”
You held back tears as you were facing him. You hated being weak, but you couldn’t help it right now. With a very low voice you answered. “I tried to. I tried kissing someone else, I tried dating someone else but I… I always thought about you.”
You looked down at your lap, too embarrassed to face him. Jaebeom grabbed your chin with his fingers and looked at you lovingly. “Funny enough, I did the same thing. I tried to forget about you by getting with other girls but none of them did the trick. No one ever compared to you, y/n.”
You grabbed his hand that was holding your chin and squeezed it lightly. Tears started to fall from your eyes as you asked him again. “What changed? Why now?”
Jaebeom’s fingers landed on your cheeks, wiping away the salty tears you cried because of him. “I wonder how many tears you must have cried because of me, y/n. I am so sorry. I really, really am.” He looked at you sincerely, you were believing his every word. With a sigh he explained further. “I got tired of running away. I got tired of playing this game that I’m bound to loose. I want to be with you. I know I’m not perfect and I can’t change what I did but I want to be better. For you. I want to be the man you deserve to be with. If you let me, of course.”
He looked at you nervously. “Will you let me, y/n?”
You chuckled in relief, as well. “Of course, you idiot. Of course, I will.”
His eyes lit up with excitement as he realized what you had said. Not even a second after he crushed his lips onto yours, kissing you like it was the first time. You made out for a while, in desperate need for each other. He interrupted each kiss with another declaration of love.
“I will make it up to you, y/n.” Kiss. “I missed you so fucking much.” Kiss. “God, I’m such an idiot.” Kiss. “What did I do to ever deserve you?” Kiss. “Thank you.” Kiss. “Thank you for giving me another chance.” Kiss. “I won’t fuck up this time.” Kiss. “I promise”. Kiss.

genre: romance, mature, melo plot: two married people fall in love a/n: i know its written dull, but trust me on this.
You wake up everyday facing the balcony of your apartment.
You never wake up to sunlight creeping in through the space between the blinds in your room. You always wake up just before the alarm, your shoes always placed perfectly so your feet slip into it as you sit on the edge.
Every morning seems the same. The same monotonous day; the same routine. The same twenty steps around your bathroom, the same cups, the same jar holding the teabags. The same toast and eggs, the same same same same same same same same same same same.
The same man always wakes up twenty minutes after you.
You always just happen you be halfway through the door when he enters the kitchen.
It’s the same bus ride to the same glass building. The same cubicle, the same work, same fake smiles and laughs, same stories. Same everything.
Tonight you decide to make stew for dinner. But is it really a decision when you make it at least five times a month?
He comes in at nine tonight.
You tell him to put the dinner away. You get into your bed, and close your eyes.
Sleep never comes easy, but you close your eyes anyway.
Your doctor told you to close your eyes even if you’re not sleeping.
Let the eyes rest.
But you can feel it moving underneath your eyelids, and now you can feel a migraine forming at the front of your head.
You feel the bed dip beside you. You remain on your side, ignoring him. You even out your breath, you are asleep.
I am sleeping. You say it as a mantra over and over again.
It works tonight. He faces the other side, you hear his phone click open.
He stays on that phone forever.
The sounds of the clicking on the keyboard, the endless Tiktoks. Your head is about to burst, you are about to burst.
And just when you cannot take it anymore, he lets out an obnoxious yawn. You ease, and he relaxes and sleeps.
You close your eyes waiting for sleep to take you away, but it does last long.
A few hours, and then you wake up to your balcony again.
The slippers slide onto your feet. Your pink brush remains where you left it yesterday.
The cup you sip your tea from as you stare out the window is the same one as yesterday. You got it as a gift from your sister one birthday. It was one of those horrifically cringe ones that says ‘The Greatest Sister Ever.’
You both had a fight a day before your birthday.
You were slipping into your heels when your husband enters the kitchen.
“Thank you,” he says just like every morning. You give him a small smile.
Normally that is the end of it, but today there is more, “We have to go to dinner tonight.”
You still in your actions and look up to meet his eyes. It was like looking at a stranger but worse, you couldn’t even tell what he was thinking.
But he could read the confusion on your face, “It’s my mum’s birthday.”
You nod, before looking at the calendar behind him. Even from the door you could see the pink marker around the date. You give him another plain smile, “I’ll pick up a gift on the way back.”
“It’s okay,” he says, and you’re thankful for it. “I’ll pick up something.”
“Okay,” you say, and slip your shoes on completely. You stand awkwardly for a second, and he looks at you too. How can you live with someone for twelve months and feel like complete strangers with them?
“Have a good day,” he says. Your lips part, and the silence stretches for a bit too long, but you finally manage,“You too.”
You escape before anymore awkward pleasantries pass between you.
The bus is busy like always. You find a space and smile at the girl already sitting there.
You let out a deep breath, and then inhale. You do it three more times, and a place a hand on your chest. Your heart was beating so fast, but you didn’t know why.
Apart from the mild heart-attack (it wasn’t actually a heart-attack, you googled it), the rest of the day was the same. The court room was the same, you had lunch with the same two girls, at the same lunchroom. The bus ride was the same; awful, humid and tiresome.
But tonight when you went home, you didn’t cook dinner.
Instead you showered, and changed into a pretty pale yellow dress. You did your hair into a nice pretty bun. You put on makeup and the lipstick that matches you so perfectly you save it for special occasions.
You get on your knees and pull out the box with your special heels.
You were going to meet your in-laws, you had to look nice.
Once ready, you took a look in the mirror.
You looked pretty.
How long had it been since you dressed up?
Your husband came soon after. He gave you a small smile as he took you in. You took in the pink wrapped box in his hand, and then your eyes went to the bouquet of flowers in the other.
He placed them both on the table next to the fruit bowl.
He went into the bathroom, and you stared at the flowers.
You wanted flowers too.
Growing up you never wanted to live in an apartment. You wanted to live in a house with a lawn or the country-side, somewhere where you could plant an entire garden. You would plant every flower you could get your hands on. It didn’t even have to look pretty as long as they bloomed you were happy with it.
You made a few attempts to plant in the apartment when you first moved in. The proof of that lies brown and dry in colourful flower pots outside on the balcony.
You didn’t realise you were staring at the flowers the entire time until he emerged from the bedroom.
He looked good.
He was good-looking.
The white shirt and casual blazer you laid out for him, hoping he would wear it, looked good on him.
You didn’t say anything though. He didn’t too, only, “Ready?”
It wasn’t a question really, more like ready or not here we go. He picked up the keys, the gift, and bunch of flowers. You picked up the tiny handbag you prepared for the night and followed him outside.
Maybe Uber rides were more comfortable than this.
The last time you set in one, they asked how your day was at the very least.
This was one of the few rare occasions you and your husband were made to be in each other’s company completely. Normally, the timings never matched up or there was someone else, or some other distraction.
People said this is common in arranged marriages. Reassurances and promises of everything working out were passed out to you like candies to a kid on Halloween.
You just stared out the window, you wished you could put the window down.
You wished you were in an Uber.
Your in-laws were good people.
Your mother-in-law, Jenny, always was in good hopes. She shared the same smile as her son and daughter, but you saw it more on her than anyone else.
Your husband handed you the gift and kept the flowers for himself. You hand her the pink box and she gushes, excitement evident in her voice, but she still reassures you that you shouldn’t have.
You’re polite with them. You smile, you laugh, you talk.
Whenever you’re with them or your own family, or whenever anyone else is around you and your husband, it feels like you’re outside your body. This woman is not you, it’s your husband’s wife.
“My son,” she places a sloppy kiss on your husbands cheek, he grimaces but his smile is bigger making his eyes disappear. Your heart feels like a mini heart-attack again, but its nothing, google said it was nothing.
You hug your sister-in-law Jae-e, instead. She hugs you back tightly, before complementing your lipstick, and your smile is true this time.
Your lipstick was made for you.
“Justin has come a long way,” you agree after Jae-e finishes her fifteen minute monologue about Justin Bieber’s highs and lows. She was a firm supporter of Selena, but she believes love changes and happens where it needs to, and Justin and Haley are together now.
You didn’t know much about Justin, you did back in middle school. Your best friend was a die-hard fan.
“Who’s Justin?” Your husband asks.
“Justin Bieber,” Jae-e rolls her eyes annoyed with her brother. Your sister and you were the same, it was like you were always teenagers no matter how much time passed.
“He only knows one JB,” she slides the comment towards you, you snort slightly, and her brother ignores it.
Or at least he tries to because he begins asking her about her new book.
The betrayal in her eyes is so funny, you had to bite your lip to hide your grin.
“It’ll probably be done before I get the chance to play with mum’s grandchild,” she’s proud of her reply, but instantly regrets it when her mother’s head snaps towards you and your husband.
You are frozen in place, your eyes on the sizzler plate. You wonder if it was still hot; and if so, how much would it burn the big mouthed twat.
“Yes!” Your mother-in-law gushes, and you start screaming inside. You’re surprised no one can hear you, in a way you are lucky no one can. She continues her loud words and each word makes your ears bleed, “WHEN DO I GET TO PLAY WITH MY GRANDCHILD?!”
She goes on and on. Some other couple who got married after you already has a kid. Another just announced their pregnancy.
You sat there staring at the plate, and then at the white table cloth.
White table cloth is so impractical. It basically just highlights all the mistakes a person makes. This family of five does not know how to take out their dishes properly and now there’s stains all over.
It was your father-in-law who finally stepped in, and said “That’s enough. This is not table conversation.”
You liked your father-in-law.
You bow and say goodbye to your in-laws. It was about time.
Your stomach was so full you were going to explode, and the heel straps were cutting into your skin. You were sure your lipstick had faded away by now.
All you wanted to do was go home and sleep.
But you have work tomorrow- no, tomorrow is Saturday!
But you were still excited to feel sleepy, maybe you’ll actually sleep and knock out completely.
Your thoughts got cut-off when you opened the door of your car.
“Oh,” you gasped as you picked up a flower from your seat. You showed it to your husband who stood there on his side of the car. “This must have fallen out.”
He bit his lip and then nodded, “Must have.”
He entered the car.
You were smiling when you buckled into your seat. You hummed along to songs playing, and looked out the window. You were okay with having the windows up.
The entire ride, you twirled the flower between your fingers, the yellow petals fluttering with each turn.
You wanted flowers.
When you get home, you head straight to the bathroom. The twenty steps increase by three as you place the flower into the cupholder. You stare it for a good minute.
You strip, shower and change into your pyjamas.
You watch as your husband as he goes into the bathroom.
Tonight you wanted it. Tonight you were not going to fall asleep.
Tonight you watched the light beneath the door. Tonight you didn’t realise as sleep took over you.
You woke up the next day. No alarm.
Your slippers sliding onto your feet. Twenty steps around your bathroom.
The cup- oh.
You halted in your steps.
The cup on the table, breakfast spread out and ready.
Your husband putting on his shoes as he’s rushing out the door. He looks frantic. You want to call out to him, what do you call him?
He catches sight of you before that, “Office emergency.”
You nod, smiling, telling him its okay.
He hesitates, and then the door closes behind him.
You look over the breakfast.
Same cup. Same bread and toast. Same egg. Same table. Same room. Same apartment.
But somehow different.

language: english
excerpt from chapter 1
The sun reaches its highest point on this chilly Saturday afternoon. Although there aren’t an overwhelming number of cars today, Jinyoung makes an effort to leave his house earlier than usual. He hasn’t seen his family in around 4 months due to his incredibly busy job, and him and his sisters made a bet on who could get to their parents’ house first. With an overnight bag in the passenger seat and his hands on the steering wheel, Jinyoung drives through the high rise buildings and billboards.
He reaches the main bridge that connects the city to the small towns in the countryside. It’s been a while since he passed this bridge, fewer cars here than he expected. After a couple more minutes, he sees his old hometown.
Although Jinyoung came to visit many times before, his hometown still gives off a timeless feel. The grass green and well kept, the simple rustic style of the houses, the neighbourhood children biking with their friends outside. It seemed like most of it stayed the same, minus the residents perhaps. Jinyoung drives past the other houses, as if he was in his school bus coming back home. He finds a house with a dark brown exterior and parks in front of it. Even though his parents are planning to have it repainted, he’ll miss the old brown wood color of their house. He takes his bag from the passenger seat and exits the car. The path leading to the door has small weeds, and his mother’s outdoor plants still look very much alive. He lifts his hand to ring the doorbell, but he hears someone opening the front door.
“The dishwasher has finally arrived!” His oldest sister, Minyoung, answers the door. Jinyoung looks at her, confused. While leaving his shoes near the doorway, he sees his other sister, Hwayoung, in the middle of eating lunch. “Huh? Since when did both of you get here?” “Half an hour ago.” Hwayoung answers while moving to the side and patting the seat next to her. “You guys left earlier, didn’t you?” He puts his bag down. “We left at noon, you’re just salty that you lost the bet!” Minyoung sticks her tongue at him while walking back to the dining table.
“Jinyoung, my son!” His mother gives him a warm hug and kisses his cheek. “I hope the dishes aren’t too much for you.” “Don’t worry mom, I’ll wash them all.” He side eyes his sisters, snickering while shoving kimchi rice in their mouths. “Jinyoung!” His dad calls him over. “Sit down and eat before Minyoung and Hwayoung finish it all.” Jinyoung hangs his coat and sits next to Hwayoung at the table. His mother hands him a bowl of kimchi stew and puts bulgogi on his plate. He takes a spoonful of the stew, still tastes the same even after so long, like the times he requested his mother to make it while he does his homework.
While he catches up with the rest of his family, they hear the doorbell ring. His mom stands up and goes to answer the door. “Oh, Mrs. Im!” The siblings look to the door. “Oh! I’m sorry, am I interrupting something?” “No, don’t worry!” The rest of the family politely greet Mrs. Im. “Nice to know the kids came to visit. Um, could I ask for some extra ingredients? I’ll pay you back after today.” “Yes, of course! What do you need?” “Just some tofu. My son decided to surprise me with a visit today!”
Jinyoung suddenly stops eating. Jaebeom’s back? Why would he be back?
Minyoung and Hwayoung notice, and they look at their little brother worryingly. Hwayoung gently places her hand on Jinyoung’s shoulder to try and comfort him.
“Jaebeom? Isn’t he supposed to be in America?” “That’s what I thought too! When I saw him at the doorstep, I told him: What are you doing here?!” Mrs. Im laughs at her own story. “Turns out they gave him a week off, and he flew all the way here! He’s staying at some hotel but he dropped by earlier. He’ll come back here again since I’m preparing dinner for him.”
Jinyoung stands up from the table and goes to the fridge to look for tofu. He finds it and gives it to Mrs. Im. “Oh, thank you Jinyoung!” She takes it from him. “Wow! You look so mature! And so do Minyoung and Hwayoung!” She turns to his mother. “You raised such diligent adults.” His mother proudly smiles at her children. “Oh, Jinyoung! Jaebeom is just walking around in this area, do you want me to call him and tell him you’re here too?”
“Oh no, you don’t have to.” Jinyoung hesitates a bit with his answer. “I’ll just find him and surprise him myself.”
They wave Mrs. Im goodbye and return to the table. Minyoung and Hwayoung give each other a look, surprised with Jinyoung’s answer. They say nothing and continue eating, occasionally glancing at their brother.

WRITEBLR INTRO
— about me
Hii, my name is Kaiati (Kai - uh - tee), but I'd prefer you refer to me as Kai if that's too confusing. 19, 20 in August. Afro-Latinx (Haitian and Cuban). any prns but prefer They/them. Genderfluid. Queer.
This honestly is long overdue, and that's mostly because of my weird obsession with perfection paired with my GAD (anxiety) that I have just been stalking other writeblrs and procrastinating on my own.
I'm an aspiring writer, and my work ranges from speculative fiction. Fantasy, historical, supernatural, sci-fi, ghosts, eldritch terrors. I love it all, typically lgbtq+ and bipoc-centered to mundane romance (I'm a sucker for a good romance). I fell in love with writing after reading Narnia when I was 10???? Still never finished anything. I'm pretty new to this and tumblr in general since I never really was the type to be active even though I have several other old accounts, but this time I'm gonna make more of an effort and promise to be active instead of lurking on your pages, hehe.
— genres I love
Fantasy / Science Fiction / Contemporary / Mystery-Thriller / Folktales and Fairytales / Horror / Gothic folk / Romance ** I also live and breathe angst if I'm not balling my eyes out over fictional characters, then what's the point**
— tropes
found family . rivals to lovers . friends to lovers . opposites attract . sibling dynamics . revolting against the patriarchy (eat the rich!) . sapphic mermaids and other monsters and mystical creatures (monster girls in general) . girls in blood .
— my writing
...or lack thereof, I have a bunch the most I focus on now are:
Project JOG (all of the titles are wip cuz im lazy)
Captain Sooyoung had always dreamed of proving her worth as a fighter, yet after years of hard work, her achievement resulted in guarding the South Gate and examining merchants and produce. But when her father summoned her to the Capital, her hopes were reignited, only to be immediately shattered as she discovers she is being demoted to the guardian of a traitor, Jiwoo. Sooyoung abhors her assignment; the two women despise each other. However, as they get to know one another, they begin to form an unlikely bond. Despite their growing friendship, Sooyoung can't help but feel suspicious about Jiwoo's anonymous nocturnal absences. Sooyoung must keep her guard up and uncover Jiwoo's secrets before they threaten to destroy her, as well as her kingdom. This is a tale of trust, love, and deception, testing the strength of bonds forged on the battlefield.
Project HML
Jaebeom, a gumiho sentenced to eternal damnation for his crimes. Haunted by the endless suffering of his one true love, Jaebeom is forced to watch her die and be reborn in each of her lifetimes. But all hope is not lost when an unlikely ally presents him with an opportunity to earn his love's freedom. Armed with determination and a thirst for revenge on those who wronged him, Jaebeom embarks on a dangerous mission to find a mysterious scroll that holds the key to his lover's release. However, collecting enough despair to gain favors for his journey proves to be a difficult task until he meets Ada, a young businesswoman with a dark past and an even darker future. Forced to work together, the two soon form a bond that complicates their mission, threatening to derail everything Jaebeom has worked so hard for. Will they be able to overcome their differences and save his lover before time runs out, or will their own selfish desires get in the way?
Project BHA
Coretta's life takes a drastic turn when her younger brother falls ill. Determined to find a cure, she joins forces with a warlock named Lysander on his quest to protect the magic realm. But as they journey deeper into a world of danger and mystery, Coretta realizes that her own inner demons may pose an even greater threat. With Lysander by her side, she must navigate treacherous terrain and face her deepest fears in order to uncover the truth behind her brother's ailment and the secret that threatens to tear apart the very fabric of their reality. From magic spells to mythical creatures, the pair face impossible challenges and unexpected betrayals as they race against time to save the magic realm from mortal hands. But as secrets are revealed, and tensions rise, Coretta must decide who to trust and what sacrifices she will make to achieve her ultimate goal. Will she be able to save her brother and restore order to the magical world, or will her own inner demons ultimately be her downfall?
— What I'm looking for
More writers to follow!
books and recommendations
Beta readers/Critique Partners for fun ofc (i will also beta read for people if you want!)
Good vibes and friends
I also love and would like to play tag games but bear with me. I'm really shy, so it'll take a while...
I'm sure everyone on here has this problem, but it is really hard for me to finish anything, I get all in my head, and I end up deleting everything and moving on to another project I probably won't finish, but I'm hoping that through being on here and meeting writers and their incredible stories will give me the courage to finish my own.
As you can see, I ramble when I'm nervous but yeah! Excited to be here!!
— I'm also on here

love (loss) of my life.
word count: 1.4k
pairings; juliet x Jayb
warnings: angst / break up / suggestion of depression
a/n: my first ""proper"" writing. I wrote this at 1am listening to Back to December by Taylor Swift,, anyway hope you like it. I apologize if there are any mistakes, i'm getting better at this :D
Since last week, Juliet had locked herself up in her room, leaving only when it was strictly necessary and hoping not to meet anyone on the way. She felt that everything around her was collapsing. Had she made the right decision? Had she dodged a bullet or just lost the love of her life? They were questions that wandered in her head all the time.
She never thought the love story they created was about to end, and it was all her fault.
Juliet had arrived in the GOT7 bedrooms with a broken heart and had been reflecting on the decision she was going to make. A while ago Juliet had felt that her relationship was an obstacle to Jaebeom’s career as an artist and the best she could do at this moment was to finish what they had. Even if she broke his heart, she knew it was for the best.
Juliet walked towards the entrance and knocked on the door. Mark welcomed with pleasure. “Hey, Ms. Juliet”.
Juliet gave him her best smile and politely asked if Jayb was home. She already spent enough time with the members, so ending their relationship meant putting friendship on hold.
The girl made her way to the dorms that she knew perfectly well, where she had been through so many things with her boyfriend.
“Hey Pretty" Jayb approached her and wrapped her in his arms, that nickname, the one she loved so much. It felt like a stick in the heart just by hearing it now.
“Get a room, lovebirds,” Mark said, making a face of disgust.
The boy pulled out his tongue playfully and went with Juliet to his room, who had not said a word. That didn’t go unnoticed by his boyfriend, who instantly asked her if something was wrong.
Juliet didn’t know how to do it. It was so hard to break up with him, who had been the first person she loved. Limiting herself to nod slowly and avoid his gaze, she started to play with the edge of the t-shirt she was wearing.
“I need to tell you something,” Juliet murmured. Her heart hurt like hell. A knot formed in her throat. She could feel Jayb’s look, which only expressed love. “Um... we can’t keep doing this” she almost let go in a whisper, like it wouldn’t hurt so much.
For a moment the only thing that was heard was their breathing “W-what? Why?” Jayb barely said “There’s something I did-”
Juliet refused with her head repeatedly, she finally met his eyes full of tears. “It's just- It’s the best for us”
Jayb stared at her, confused, “T-the best? What...?”
Juliet took the boy’s face between her hands and breathed deeply before saying, “I love you, Im Jaebeom, I love you like I’ve never loved anyone before. You went and you will be the first love of my life,” She realized she was crying when the tears soaked her cheeks “B-but you and I have jobs that don’t allow us to be together. I don’t want your career to be affected by our relationship.”
“I-it won’t!, we can make it work”
Choking on a sob, she got up from her position. "Don't make this more hard, i already made a decision" Jaebeom copied her action and before Juliet could say anything, she felt his arms wrap around her, just like he always did. A warm hug like a home, the only difference is that now it felt more like a goodbye “You are the best thing that has ever happened to me, I love you with all my heart Sun hee” Juliet just cried, she had tried to act strong but she could no longer pretend.
After a couple of minutes of both sobbing on each other’s shoulders, Juliet decided to talk.
“i...i gotta go now, this isn't a goodbye"
“I know,” he whispered, kissing the temple of her head, staying there for a couple of seconds, and inhaling the girl’s essence. “I love you. Don’t forget to take care of yourself, okay?”
Juliet hummed and separated a little to wipe the tears from the boy’s cheeks. “My heart will always hold love for you, my beautiful boy.”
And with that said, Juliet left the room, with her heart shattered.
Hana carefully entered the eldest’s room and sat on the edge of the bed.
“You have to eat, at least a little. Please unnie” Hana said, almost in a whisper. Watching her with a sad look in her eyes.
The oldest sighed and took off the blankets that covered her to sit down. She looked at Hana and took the tray that the girl had brought her. Juliet couldn’t deny that the soup had a very good smell.
She took it carefully and began to drink from it.
“This is…very good,” she said with a small smile. “Thank you”
Hana smiled back and took Juliet's free hand into hers. “It’s nothing. You know that whatever you need, we are here for you,” she began, “and if you want to...you know, talk about-“
“No, I’m fine,” Juliet interrupted her before she could finish the sentence.
Hana nodded her head and left the room, returning to the living room where Mei and Jeonghan were watching a movie. When they felt the door of the room close, the boy turned to where Hana was.
“How is she?” he wondered
Hana sat on the floor in front of them. “It could be worse, she still doesn’t want to talk about it. But at least she’s eating.”
The members looked at each other with a look that expressed pity for their friend.
“She still thinks it was her fault,” Mei simply said. “I mean, she ended it, right? But it was the best for the two”
“Do you think they’ll get back together?” Jeonghan said, playing with a strand of Mei’s hair.
There was a short silence. Hana was going to speak until the doorbell rang.
Mei gave her roommate a confused look. They weren’t expecting anyone.
Mei got up from her position and went to open the door. A hesitant Jinyoung stood on the other side.
“Hi,” he said with a small smile.
Mei smiled back kindly. “Hey, how are you?” She opened the door wider and let him in.
He walked towards the room where the others were, and greeted them kindly, “I came to see Juliet,” Jinyoung said. “She hasn’t answered any of my messages”
The girls exchanged glances.
“She’s in her room, she hasn’t left in the last 3 days” Mei spoke in a low tone so that Juliet wouldn’t hear.
Jinyoung nodded, imagining the state his friend was in. Since her group mate was having the same or worse time than her.
“Can I go see her?”
Jeonghan laughed a little. “If she doesn’t throw you a pillow the second you walk in, then yes.”
The other boy chuckled a bit and walked towards the door of the room. Jinyoung knocked on the door slowly, waiting for a response from the girl. When it didn’t, he slowly opened the door.
Jinyoung managed to spot Juliet between the blankets that covered her. “who is it?” she muffled.
The eldest closed the door behind him and sat on the bed. “um it’s me” Juliet uncovered her face for a second to look at him, “what do you want?” The answer took the boy by surprise "Can't I come see my best friend?" He raised an eyebrow looking at her.
Juliet glared at him and settled back down. "Well your best friend just broke your other best friend's heart." murmured "You should be mad at me"
The boy looked at her confused "Why would I be mad at you? You broke up with him but I'm still your friend, silly." He stated
The girl looked again, she was afraid of losing the friendship she had with Jinyoung, she knew that he loved his friend very much so she imagined that he would have taken his side and that he would hate her for the rest of her life. Even if she was being a little exaggerated. But now he was here assuring her that everything was fine and the girl couldn't help but tear up a little bit.
Jinyoung saw the tears forming in her eyes "C'me here" He opened his arms to wrap her in a warm hug.
Despite being heartbroken, Juliet had not shed a tear in the last few days. But seeing herself wrapped in her friend's arms made her let go of everything she had kept inside hers.
Jinyoung murmured "It's ok" and stroked her hair, after minutes, which to Juliet felt like hours, the crying stopped. The girl separated from her friend
"You look terrible," the boy said with a chuckle, which drew a smile on her friend's face. She smacked his arm playfully.
"Of course I look terrible, I just… broke up with my boyfriend" Juliet responded, rolling her eyes.
The boy looked at her tenderly, "I know, but think about it, you'll have material to write a new hit." Succeeding on making her smile again.

Polar opposites
Summary: Even amidst all the anger, he would never break the one he loves.
Word count: 1446
Pairing: Jaebeom X OC
Warning(s): Angst, minor violence
A/N: It's been a long time ~ I was clearing out my drafts when I stumbled upon this. This was written in 2018, and reading it again made me go "Oh? This doesn't seem like a bad writeup?" Heh.
Jaebum thought that their love would overcome all obstacles, just like in romance movies and novels where the couple would fight and then, make up afterwards. He thought they would live happily ever after as long as they are together. That their love could stand the test of time. That their love was such a strong force that anything was possible. But this was reality, not those made-up published fantasies of a romanticist's mind.
They were cosmic stars clashing which perfectly described their first encounter. They collided as she rushed for class while he skipped it. Papers scattered everywhere and profanities escaped his lips. She scrambled for her papers while he for his cigarettes. As soon as he collected his things, his fists were clenched and ready to land a punch on his victim's face, but she had already disappeared into the corridor. And that was the first time someone ever managed to escape the wrath of the famous delinquent, Im Jaebum.
He spent his days searching for the rude girl. In Jaebum's defense, she did not utter a word of apology for bumping into him and almost getting him in trouble. When he finally got her, she had been extremely clueless about him and that bumping incident. She blinked up at him with innocent and clueless eyes that Jaebum could not even argue anymore. Nevertheless, Jaebum found her as a new target, bullied her to no end. However, she never cared about his antics and ignored his existence. She never feared him as all the other students did. But that one time when Jaebum went too far and shoved her down the corridor, she had this flame in her eyes when she met his. For the first time, Jaebum felt scared for his own life. Nothing happened though, but she started to retaliate. She got on his nerves, but funnily enough, she always managed to get away with it.
Amidst all the animosity, there was a change of heart. It wasn't a gradual evolution of emotion. Rather, it was something that was sparked on a snap. Jaebum had wandered into the field to taunt her. But a baseball was flying towards him unbeknownst to him.
"Look out!" he had heard someone cried out before there was a whoosh sound right in front of him.
As if time stood still, he could see clearly how each strand of her hair fluttered in the wind, how her hand was outstretched right in front of his face, how the ball slammed onto her glove.
It was stupid, Jaebum thought, to feel his heart skip a beat at such incident. But it happened and Jaebum thought she caught his heart along with the ball.
Afterwards, Jaebum became a blushing fool whenever he saw her. He still disturbed her, but no longer as extreme as before. He didn't know how or when he actually mustered courage to confess but the next thing he knew, they were a couple.
Nevertheless, couple or not, they were still two very different individuals. He still preferred streetwear -- leather jackets and dyed hair -- while she preferred smart casual. She was the epitome of a successful woman: smartly dressed, with an aura of confidence. He was violent and aggressive while she was calm and collective. He was fire while she was water. His foul temper always ruined the surroundings but never her. He ruined, she fixed. He was destructive, she was constructive. He explodes, she implodes.
Because of their contrasting personalities, their love was like hot coal. It was scalding to be held, but it spread warmth to the hearts.
Nobody understood why they were together in the first place. Their closest friends always had to deal with them barging into their place with tear-stained faces or fury. None of them understood how they manage to get married and settled down together despite the endless arguments. They were not the happiest couple. They never were. Never had anyone see them smile to each other. No one understood their love.
Except them.
"We'll be fine. We'll always be," her words rang in his ears. He scoffed. Who was she to say that? Indeed, he loved her so much. But she was not him. She could not understand the pain inside. He curled himself up on his bed, letting himself be consumed by sadness and guilt. He screwed up big this time. He had it all, but his pride just had to ruin it. Tears dripped onto the bed sheets that her scent still lingered on.
His endearment for her was too overwhelming. A month had past since the incident occurred and he missed her so bad. Jaebum hoped, every second, that she would show up on the doorstep of the apartment (he no longer called it home) with her bags. But time past by and she did not come. He laughed at the wee hours of every night. He thought to himself. He deserved it. He was a jerk who ruined everything and was a screwed up person himself. He got himself drunk with the little remnants of her in the house, in his mind. He played their memories over and over - her sloppy kisses in the morning and night, her sweet voice that was his favourite song, her soft touches on his skin. Every single little detail of her was etched deeply into his memory and onto his skin.
Every night, he roamed around the streets alone. As he drowned himself in the memories, he always ended up in the neighbourhood of his in-laws. He stood at the pavement, staring at the 9th floor of the building, hoping to catch a glimpse of the woman he loved. He stood for god knows how long, not tearing his eyes away from the windows. But she never looked out of the window.
It became a habit for him to come around everyday. He was too much of a coward to knock on the door. He was too afraid to face her. He knew he was in the wrong, but he never knew why he was not brave enough to face her. He wanted her back so bad, but his body just would not move a step closer to her. She was there: she was within reach, but he just could not take the step. He missed how her silky hair would easily let his fingers card through. He missed how his hands were so much bigger than her face. He missed how perfectly fitted she was in his embrace.
Then he saw her.
He could easily identify her even if she was drowned in the crowd, even in the darkest of the night. She wore the hoodie he recognized so well: her favourite (and his too), a present from him. She stuffed her hands into the pockets of the hoodie and she strolled down the streets, her back facing him. She was all alone, and very easily he could have approached her. But he did not. He followed as she entered the convenience store. She smiled at the cashier as she paid and he died a little inside. He yearned for that blinding smile to be directed at him again. He yearned to see the skin around her eyes to crinkle and her lids to be turned to crescents upclose again. He yearned for her so much. But he could do nothing, only to love her from afar.
The famous Im Jaebum, who never fled from a fight, was in fact, a coward.
So Jaebum came home, all drunken in his own misery and agony. What started as soft sobs escalated into fury. He threw a fit. He smashed the vases, the glass furnitures. He broke all the photos they smiled happily in. He punched holes into the walls. His skin tore and his blood dripped onto the hardwood floor. His head hung low and he rested his palm against the wall for balance, before he leaned his back against the wall. He let himself slid down in agony as he cried. He did not know what was more painful: his torn skin and dripped blood or her absence. Perhaps it was both.
Or perhaps it was the wrath he incurred himself for being destructive.
Everybody knew how bad his temper was. Him throwing a fit would mean the destruction of the world. He would break everything and anything he saw.
Even amidst all the anger, he would never break the one he loves.
The only one who braved the flames of fury was the one he vowed he would never hurt.
But he broke it.
So she left and he knew he deserved it.

im jaebeom - pillow talk
Pairing: Im Jaebeom x Reader | Genre: fluff & suggestive | Warnings: nakedness, lip biting, straddling, sexual innuendos | WC: 880 words
Request: Hey there! I'd like to request jaebeom +reader pillow talk scenario please! Mostly fluff but can you add suggestiveness as well? The talk can be deep or just casual, asking silly questions etc. Let your mind go free with this one~✨
“Mm, I missed you,” You mumbled against Jaebeom’s chest as he chuckled, kissing your shoulder and wrapping his arms around your waist. You’d had a long week and were grateful for the three days off from everything you were about to have.
“I should make you miss me more often,” He teased, playfully. He rolled over, hovering above you as he peppered kisses across your face and around your neck. Your breath hitched as his lips pressed the sweet spot between your neck and collar bone.
Jaebeom smiled as he felt your skin erupt in goose bumps. He rolled back on to his pillows and pulled you close to him, kissing your temple. While you were both busy, this was your favorite time to spend with Jaebeom. Just rolling around the bed, kissing one another, touching one another. Talking and asking random questions like you were getting to know each other all over again.
“How was work today?” Jaebeom asked quietly and you groaned in frustration, curling closer into his side.
“Annoying. I swear as soon as I can work somewhere that doesn’t deal with the general public I’ll have a much happier life. People are just so stupid,” Jaebeom couldn’t help but chuckle at your words before wrapping his leg around yours and intertwining your hands. You mustered up the rest of your energy and swung your hips over his, straddling his lap. His hands came to rest on your waist, smiling gently up at you.
“I commend you for your patience, due servant,” He teased and you lightly swatted his chest, pulling his shirt over his head.
To the outside eye, it would seem things were getting pretty heated between the two of you, but for you two, this was your normal. Talking about your days or what was flying through your minds while slowly stripping was quite comforting. You placed your cheek on his bare chest, closing your eyes and breathing in deeply before kissing his skin. This was when you felt most comfortable—pressed skin to skin against Jaebeom. It was your safe haven, your home.
His arms made their way around your back, gently peeling your shirt off and unhooking your bra like a professional. His fingers lightly traced up and down your spine, sending goose bumps across your skin yet again, “How was practice today?” You hummed and you heard him groan a little.
“I swear, BamBam and Yugyeom-ah are only there to shorten my lifespan,” You laughed a lot louder than expected before raising your head and running your fingers through his hair.
“Sounds like a pretty normal day to me,” You teased, playfully.
He chuckled and hummed. Just then, the doorbell went off and he expertly flipped you on your back, kissing the tip of your nose, “Foods here,” He winked before getting up and adjusting himself. Seconds later he was walking back in the room with bags of food and you felt your mouth start to salivate. You hadn’t realized just how hungry you were.
Once you were both full from food, you cuddled back into the bed, slipping your pants off and laying with only your underwear on. You saw Jaebeom’s eyes darken a little, a low growl leaving his chest as he captured your mouth with his. After a heated make out session, he pulled away, leaving you breathless and your cheeks slightly flushed, “I love you,” You whispered and he smiled, placing his forehead on yours.
“I love you too, Y/N,” He replied back, sincerely.
After just staring intently into each other’s eyes for a few minutes, you flipped him over and were straddling his lap again, “Tell me about work! What else did you do today?” The idol life wasn’t something you had ever dreamed of living. Despite everyone around you aiming for that goal, it didn’t suit your fancy. However, it didn’t mean you weren’t curious about the workings of everything that went into it. Jaebeom was happy to indulge your curiosities.
“Well, today I presented some new songs for the next album to the boss man. We worked on some choreography. Oh! We had a fitting today for some new stage outfits,” You purse your lips, your hands wrapping around his biceps.
“I know you needed that fitting. You've been bulking up on me lately,” You teased jokingly with a wink. He chuckled, wrapping his arms around your waist and kissing you.
“Only because I know how wet it makes you,” He winked, lightly biting your bottom lip as he pulled away, leaving you off caught off guard.
You felt your cheeks heat up and a familiar warmth in your gut, “You look exhausted, love,” He said, tucking some of your hair behind your ear. You gave him a lazy smile and nodded.
“Exhausted, actually,” He smiled, laying you back down and turning on the TV.
“Movies and a cuddle? We can pick up where we left off in the morning,” You giggled at him brightly and nodded.
He turned on your favorite movie, but 5 minutes into it you were already lightly snoring, curled around him. He smiled at you, kissing the top of your head lightly and wrapping his arms around you even tighter.
A little pillow talk was all you both needed sometimes.

Die For You
Pairing: Reader x Jaebeom
Word count: 832 words
Genre: Angst
Summary: Jaebeom realises after breaking up with you that he just can't leave you
Warnings: -
Main masterlist | Crystal's Playlist
Jaebeom pushes away from his desk and lets out a sigh as he stares at his wall. He made a mistake. He stares at the black screen of his phone, waiting—hoping—that someone out there is thinking of him. But Jaebeom doesn’t just want anyone. He wants you. He wants you to call him, text him, reach out to him. He wants you to come back. There’s an old LED strip that he had pasted in between his desk and his wall to make his room feel more inspiring to him, but now, all it does is switch in and out of colours while he sulks.
It was a small fight. Jaebeom knows he was being dumb. He shouldn’t have pried where you didn’t want him to. You knew he had a tendency to be stressed out after coming home from work. He’s an idol—of course he would be. But at the time, Jaebeom’s brain kept hitting a wall whenever he tried to finish one of his tracks. The more he tried, the harder it got and his pride was keeping it away from all of his friends who offered to help.
You, on the other hand, were dealing with the stress of being the public partner to a famous idol. You didn’t mind the hate because at the end of the day, you were the only one who Jaebeom would come home to. You were the one that Jaebeom would end up sleeping with. You were the only one he would be giving all of his love to. So the hate never bothered you.
It bothered him.
Jaebeom was buried underneath the stress of trying to finish his album while also trying to make sure that you were okay. To the point where he realised that he was projecting his stress onto you. So he ended it. You asked him to think it through and take a few days to himself because you loved him too much to let go, but Jaebeom refused. He walked out of your shared apartment one last time and hadn’t gone back since.
The same song has been on repeat for the past three hours because Jaebeom doesn’t know any other way to express himself other than through music. He majorly fucked up. There’s a dark purple box sitting on the left side of his desk that Jaebeom turns to look at. He picks it up and leans back as he lifts the top, staring at the diamond ring that’s tucked into the velvet cushion. Jaebeom loves you so much that he was about ready to keep you in his life forever. You’re everything to him and he’s sure that even if you don’t come back, he would never move on from you.
You’ve just managed to engrave yourself completely into Jaebeom’s heart to the point where he does everything and would do everything for you. All it took you was three and a half years for him to realise that he really was ready to marry you. Now he wonders whether he’ll ever get the chance to even give you the ring. Seconds feel like hours and days feel like weeks without you by his side. Jaebeom wonders whether you miss him as much as he misses you. He also wonders whether you’re still in love with him as much as he is with you.
He’s angry with himself for throwing you aside so easily and you’re anxious because throughout the whole relationship, Jaebeom’s reassurance that he would never leave you stays strong and it almost feels like false hope. You also know one thing about him that you’re sure Jaebeom hasn’t even noticed yet: he lives for you. Through his hard demeanor, he has a fragile heart. While he’s usually calm, collected and able to gather his thoughts, Jaebeom’s brain has never been so frantic before. He sees nothing but images of you flashing in and out of his mind, his heart aching every time he sees your smile or hears the ghosted memory of your laugh.
Maybe he should ask you to come back. It makes him seem pathetic, but Jaebeom’s already figured it out a few weeks away from you. He knows that he lives for you. He hates himself for making you feel so lonely. No matter how long he spends away, Jaebeom’s sure that he’ll forever be hung up on you if he doesn’t fix this before it’s too late. But he also has a feeling that you might not ever move on from him either because he fits into your life like a puzzle piece.
Jaebeom stares at his phone, hand pressed against his mouth as he fills himself with more false hope because maybe—just maybe—tonight you’ll actually call him. He hears a particular line playing in the song that makes him look up to his computer screen.
I can’t walk away
And his phone rings. Jaebeom picks it up without even checking the caller I.D but his body freezes the moment you speak.
“Come back to me, Jaebeom."

When you flinch in a fight pt 2
Hey lovelies! Admin Oasis here! So I realize I made a mistake. I finished this ages ago, but because of work, I have a fulltime job now, I didn’t realize that I hadn’t posted this. I’m sorry it’s so late, but here is the part two to when Got7 make their S/O flinch.
Jay B:
Jay stared at the stage that Jay Park had prepared for him. He was supposed to perform a special with G1nger and Gray, but the truth was he wasn’t excited to be here anymore. He stared at the lights, the dancers, and he shook his head. His every thought was with you and the way that he’d left things.
How could he have been so loud, so intimidating that you were scared of him? He would never hurt you, never in his life. The fact that you were scared that he might, however, was what had him distracted.
“What do you think?” Jay P. said, putting a hand around Jay’s shoulder. “You come out from between the dancers, G1nger is belting her verse, Gray comes out smoothly, and then it’s all you.”
“It sounds amazing,” Jay said, disheartened.
“You don’t sound excited,” Jay P. said, looking at him curiously. “What’s up?”
“I’m fine,” Jay said, ever the professional. “I’ll get the job done, hyung.”
“Hey,” Jay P. said, putting an arm out to stop Jay from making his way to the stage. “What’s up?”
“Y/N and I had a fight, just before you came to pick me up,” Jay said, trying to hide how desperate he was to go back to the house. “It wasn’t Y/N fault, it’s mine. I’ve been neglectful lately for work, and was finally called out on it.”
“And you got defensive,” Jay P. guessed. “You always get that way when someone questions your work ethic.”
Jay looked at Jay P. curiously. “Do I?” The older man nodded, a grin on his face. “Well, I said some very unnecessary things, some very hurtful things, and I was so intimidating that Y/N thought I would be violent.”
“Jay, work will always be there,” Jay P. said, and he tilted his head to the side. “People not so much, especially people who give you their all and expect nothing.” Jay looked at him, the conflict in his eyes over whether or not he should stay. “Go. I’ll take care of this.”
He smiled at his friend/boss and nodded. As he left the building, he called the closest five star restaurant, and he made a reservation. He raced to the closest boutique and bought you a whole new, expensive outfit, and some flowers. Then he raced home.
The second he saw you; he knew that you were not going to talk to him, that you would maybe even be scared of him, but he would make it right. You saw him come into the apartment, and you jumped up to your feet. You tried to leave, but he managed to grab your hand.
“I know that you don’t want to see me, that you’re scared of me, but I want a chance to make this right for you, for us,” he said, his thumb caressing the back of your hand. “I know that I have a lot of making up to do, but let me start with a couple of presents.” He handed you a giftbox and the flowers. “Change into this, and then get ready for a real, long, proper date, where I will ask you about your days, and you can ask me about mine if you want to.”
You gave him a wary look, but you nodded your head. You opened the box, seeing the outfit, complete with accessories, and you smiled. He nodded and ushered you into the bedroom to change. That night was the best of your relationship, and you heard everything about his week, and you told him about your week. He vowed never to make you feel scared of him again.
Mark:
Mark watched as you ran off, and he closed his eyes. He knew that you would think he was cheating, especially with the way that Angel was acting. She was just affectionate though, and she acted that way with everyone.
He sighed and walked back into the studio. Angel looked at him and gave him a smile. “Did y/n leave?” Mark nodded, and he sat back down. “I don’t know why Y/N came to interrupt us anyway.” Mark furrowed his brow at her tone, and he turned to look at her. “We were busy.”
She leaned in and kissed him, and Mark pushed her away hard. She rolled into the other side of the desk, and he shook his head. “What the hell is your problem?” He stood up and gestured with his hands, as he got angrier and angrier. “I have been telling Y/N for the past few weeks that you are affectionate with everyone, AND THAT YOU DON’T HAVE FEELINGS FOR ME!” He ran his hands over his face, and he groaned in frustration. “I just got after Y/N for that behavior! I made Y/N believe that I would be violent, hit Y/N, because of YOU!” He took a deep a breath and sighed. “Get the fuck out of my studio. I have to go find my partner.”
Angel’s eyes widened, and she grabbed her things and left. Mark looked down at his phone and texted you. You read the message, but you didn’t answer him. He groaned, and he called you, but you didn’t answer. As a matter of fact, you let it go straight to voicemail. He realized he’d messed up, so badly. He didn’t know how to convince you that he wasn’t interested in her, just you, or how he could make up for what he made you feel.
You wouldn’t be going to the apartment, he knew that. There was only one person that you would go to, if you even considered breaking up with him, and that was your friend’s place. Mark drove there, as fast as he could, and raced up to your friend’s apartment. A man was there, a big pizza box, a hat, and he was about to knock on your friend’s door.
“Hey!” Mark called, scaring the poor kid. He almost dropped the pizza, turning to look at Mark as he ran up to the delivery man. “I’ll pay for the pizza, and let me deliver it.”
“What?” the kid asked, tilting his head to the side.
“Just let me pay for it, and let me deliver it,” Mark said, nodding. “How much is it?”
You heard a knock on your friend’s door, and you sighed. “I’ll get the pizza,” you called.
“My wallet is on the table!” she called back.
Right, cause you were going to let her pay for your depression-binge-eating. You grabbed your wallet, and went to answer the door. You gasped. Mark was standing in front of you. He put a finger to his lips, asking you not to say anything, probably because your friend would ream him a new one for raising his hands at you.
He pulled a stack of cards out from behind his back. He smiled sadly at you, and you sighed. He pulled his phone out of his back pocket, and then he turned on a song. The melody was soft, and his voice rang out of the speaker. He held out the cue cards, as the song continued to play in the background, a soft love song about how he found the one, and how much his life had changed for the better, and you read them as he changed them.
“I’m very sorry for scaring you. I know that I fucked up, in the worst way. I would never hurt you, never. I love you with everything I have, and I could never hurt you. You were right about Angel. I’m never working with her again. I don’t care about her, only you. Please forgive me, take me back, and come back home. I need you in my life, just like the song says. I love you.”
You bit the inside of your lip, trying to figure out if this should be enough, if you could trust what he was saying now, if he really wasn’t going to work with that woman again. He held out his hand for you, and you took it tentatively. He pulled you into his arms.
“I’m really sorry, baby,” he whispered into your ear. “Please believe me that I didn’t realize she was thinking that way, and I should have listened to you. I would never hurt you, never.”
“Ok,” you said, nodding. “I believe you.”
“Will you come home?” he asked, looking down at you.
“We’re waiting for a pizza,” you answered.
“Oh, yeah,” he said, and bent down to get the pizza box off the floor. “I am here to serve.”
You laughed, taking the pizza and taking it inside. You turned to him, and nodded, taking your things. You turned back to the inside, told your friend you were leaving, and then followed Mark out. You would trust him this time, to never hurt you, or scare you again.
Jackson:
Jackson walked back into the apartment, maybe thirty minutes later. He was debating what to do. He wasn’t sure if he should wait, give you some space, or if he should walk up to the bedroom, and try to apologize right now.
He couldn’t stand the thought of you, in that room, thinking that he was ever capable of hurting you. With a sigh, he walked to the bedroom door, knocked, and waited. He heard you sniffling through the door, and he let his head fall back. He hated the fact that you were scared of him, that you were in there crying, because of him.
“Baby,” he said softly, but you didn’t answer him. He tried the door, surprised that it was not locked, and he called out again. “I’m coming in, baby.”
He took in a deep breath, opened the door, and walked into the room. He looked at the bed, thinking that you would be on there, under the covers. You weren’t. With a furrowed brow, he looked around the room. He saw your feet under the desk in the room, where he worked when he was at home. With another grounding sigh, Jackson walked up to the desk and peeked under it.
You huddled into yourself, and Jackson sighed. “Baby, can you come out so that we can talk?”
“It’s ok, Jackson, I get it,” you said, shaking your head. “Your work is important.”
“No, no,” he said, shaking his head with you. “No, I want to talk to you, and to hold your hands, and apologize properly to you. I want you to look me in the eye as I tell you that I would never, ever be mad enough to hurt you. I want to say everything that I need to, and I don’t want to be under my desk when I do.”
You looked down and nodded. With a smile, he helped you out from under the table. Never once letting go of your hand, he led you to the bed, where he sat you down. Instead of sitting next to you, he knelt in front of you and took your hands. You looked at him, for a few seconds, and then you averted your eyes down.
“Y/N,” he called, making you look at him. “I know that you thought that I was going to hurt you, but I would never. I love you way too much to ever hurt you at all.” You looked down. “But you were right to get angry at me for changing our plans. I’m sorry about doing that to you, especially on our anniversary.”
“You remembered?” you asked.
“I was reminded,” he answered. “But I shouldn’t have to have been reminded. I’m sorry.” He tilted his head to the side. “I can’t promise you that I will never forget about our anniversary again, or that I won’t put work before everything else in my life, but I can promise that I would never hurt you intentionally, either emotionally or physically. You mean too much to me.”
“I love you too, Jackson,” you said, putting your arms around his neck. “Can we go out now?”
“Anything you want, baby,” he said, smiling at you.
You went out on your scheduled date, later than intended, but still on your anniversary.
Jinyoung:
His script was in his car. He’d left it there the night before, and he had remembered after he’d scared you into thinking that he would hit you. With a sigh, he stared at the script and then looked up at the apartment building that you were in, locked in the bedroom he shared with you, and thinking that he had been seconds away from beating you.
He let his head fall back onto the seat of his car, and he sighed. He ran his hand over his face, trying to wipe away the exhaustion that he was feeling. For the past two weeks, he’d been filming during the day and at night, and even though that wasn’t an excuse for how he’d acted, how much he’d scared you, it was the reason he’d lashed out and lost his patience.
“It’s time to make it right with Y/N,” he said, as he got out of his car.
When he walked in through the front door, he tripped into the suitcases that were next to the door. They were yours, and he was starting to panic. He threw the flowers he’d gotten onto the table, as well as the bottle of your favorite champagne.
“Y/N,” he called, coming to a stop at the bedroom door. He heard you curse softly, before he knocked again. “Can you come out so we can talk?”
You opened the door, pulling out a box filled with your shoes. You looked at him for a second, and when he made a move to caress your cheek, you flinched back. He knew his expression reflected how much it hurt that you flinched away from him.
“W…what,” he cleared his throat before he tried again. “What are you doing? Where are you going?”
“Somewhere that I can afford,” you answered, attempting to move around him.
“Wait,” he said, looking at you with remorse. He shook his head, and he sighed deeply, trying to calm his wildly beating heart. “Please, just let me make it up to you, everything that happened this morning, please.”
“How?” you asked, shaking your head. “How are you going to change the fact that you basically said I was freeloading here, because I don’t make enough to keep us living here.” He flinched, hearing his own words thrown back at him. “How are you going to change the fact that you wanted to hit me?”
“No,” he said right away, interrupting you. “No, let’s get one thing straight, because I don’t’ ever want you to think that I would ever get angry enough to actually put my hands on you. You mean way too much to me to ever disrespect you and our relationship that way. I was not going to hit you. I’m sorry that, even for a second, you thought I was.”
“Ok, I will admit that I didn’t really think that you were going to hit me, but I got scared that you might,” you answered. “But that’s just a detail. What you said, it hurt so much more.”
“I know, and let me just explain, please,” he pleaded. “If, after you hear me out, you still want to leave, then I’ll respect your decision and leave this place.”
You looked down for a second, and then invited him to talk with a look. He took in a deep breath, and then he led you to the living room. He sat next to you, your knees touching, and you looked up at him.
“I know that you think that I think that you don’t do anything here, but you are indispensable to me.” You rolled your eyes, but he shook his head. “I’m being serious. You are necessary for my sanity and peace of mind. I know how hard you work, but what you do here, at home, for me is amazing. I know when you’re here that I’m going to have support, and love, and compassion. I love you, and everything that you do for me doesn’t go ignored. I don’t acknowledge it, which I should, but I do see what you do. I can’t live without you. You make my life better, and I can’t make it in this life without you.”
You bit your lower lip, looking down for a second. When you looked back up at him, you smiled, nodding your head. You put your box down, and Jinyoung breathed a sigh of relief. He pulled you into his arms, and kissed the top of your head. You felt the slight tremors of his body, letting you know he really had been scared of losing you.
“I love you,” he whispered into your hair.
“I love you too, Jinyoung,” you answered.
The release of relief was palpable, and you knew he would never hurt you again.
Youngjae:
Coco was in Youngjae’s room, asleep under the bed. She was lying, sleeping, and oblivious to the fact that Youngjae and you were freaking out because you two couldn’t find her. Youngjae looked down at Coco, and then he sighed.
“Why did you hide?” he asked, and Coco stuck her tongue out, smiling at him as she panted. “I just yelled at your mom, because you decided to take a nap, and then ignore us.” She just kept smiling at Youngjae, and he turned to the door. “Let’s go find your mom.”
Youngjae got her leash and then he led her out the door. Youngjae didn’t walk long, before he found you, looking under cars and tables, trying to find Coco. He cleared his throat, before he brought his hands up to his mouth.
“Y/N,” he called. You looked up, before he held up the leash. “I found her. You were right, she was under the bed.”
With a sob, you ran over to Coco, picking her up and cuddling her. “You dumb dog,” you sobbed, giving her kisses. “You scared the hell out of me!”
You carried Coco all the way back to the house. You walked right by him and towards the apartment building. Youngjae sighed and followed you. He would explain once inside the place. He would try to make everything right again.
A few minutes later, he walked into the doorway of the living room, where you were sitting reading a mystery novel. He looked down at Coco, and he motioned for you. Coco took the piece of paper in her mouth and trotted over to you. You smiled at her, picked her up, and took the piece of paper from her.
You unfolded it, and saw that it was a song. You looked up, seeing Youngjae looking at you, a look of regret on his face. You looked back down at the song, and read the lyrics. They were all about how you had come into his life and changed it for the better. How he looked forward to coming home to you, regardless of how much he hurt you, intentionally or not. He talked about how much he loved you, and all the benefits you brought to his life, and how much he couldn’t see his life without you in it. Even though you didn’t want to, you smiled, tears filling your eyes. You looked up at him again, and bit your lower lip.
“I know that you’re upset with me right now, and you have every right to be,” he said, walking up to you. “I’m very sorry for the way that I spoke to you, making it seem like you lost Coco intentionally.” He sighed. “I didn’t mean it like that.”
You looked down, remembering how he’d made you feel. You remembered how scared you had been when he’d raised his voice, feeling like you were so sure he was going to hate you for the rest of your life for losing his dog, how he might just hit you because of it.
“I want you to know that I would never hurt you,” he said, tilting his head down to look at you in the eye. “I would never physically hurt you, not intentionally, not ever.” You hugged Coco to you, and bit your lower lip again. “I love you way too much to be violent with you. You mean the world to me, and if I have to make up for this for the rest of my life, to help you forgive me and trust me again, then I will.”
“I know, Jae,” you whispered, hugging Coco. “I just didn’t like it when you screamed at me. I got scared.”
His arms moved around you, pulling you into his chest, and he sighed. “I know, and I’m so sorry, my love. I’m so, so sorry. I won’t ever do that again, I promise.”
“Ok,” you said, your voice muffled by his shirt. “I love your song by the way.”
“It’s your song,” he answered, moving back to look at you. “I wrote it for you. Because you are my life.”
You smiled, resting your cheek against Youngjae’s chest, knowing that this was not a normal thing for Youngjae to do. You knew he’d be more careful with his words from now on.
BamBam:
You opened the door to your friend’s apartment, as someone had knocked. To say that you were surprised to find BamBam’s mom on the other side was an understatement. She took in a deep breath before she nodded.
“Can you join me for a coffee, please?” she asked.
Feeling apprehensive, you decided to listen to what she had to say, although you really didn’t want to. With a small nod, you turned to grab your things. As you stepped into the café, she motioned for a chair, and then went to place the order. When she came back, she sat down, and a few minutes of awkward silence ensued. When the order was ready, you saw her take a deep breath, and then she went to get it.
She sat down, placed a Macha latte in front of you, and you looked up at her. How did she know that you didn’t like coffee? She looked down at her mug for a few minutes, and then she looked up at you again.
“I’m here to ask you to come back to the apartment with BamBam,” she said.
“It’s clear that I’m not wanted, or needed there,” you answered, looking at your latte.
“That’s not true,” she said, tilting her head to the side. “I talked with BamBam after you left two days ago. He was basically having a breakdown, because he’s pretty sure that he’s lost you, and it’s been hell for him since then.” Tears filled her eyes, and you tried not to care that she was distraught, but you did. “He needs you more than I realized, and as much as I don’t think that you are the right person for him, clearly he thinks differently.”
“He values your opinion,” you said, shrugging, “and I don’t want to compete with your opinion anymore.”
“You will not,” she said, turning desperate eyes to you. “I promise you that I won’t interfere, I won’t bad mouth you, I won’t disrespect you anymore, because while he values my opinion, BamBam needs you, and watching him pace back and forth, muttering how he’s scared you away, thinking he would hurt you, it’s breaking my heart. Please, just come back.”
Just the thought of BamBam worried, pacing, distraught because he lost you, caused you more pain than you wanted to admit. His mom took your hands, making you look at her. She seemed desperate, needing you to listen to her.
“Please come back,” she said, nodding. “I promise that I’m going to give you the chance that you need to make him happy, I’ll butt out of his life.”
“That’s not what I want,” you answered. “He needs you as much as ever. I just don’t want him to have to choose between you and me, because he’s going to choose you.”
You walked into the apartment, sometime after the talk with his mom. You saw that he was indeed pacing back and forth in the living room. Pudding and Cupcake watched him, heads moving right and left as he paced. His eyes were tired, shadows under his eyes, his hair a mess, his feet bare, clothes the same from two days ago. You closed the door, and he jumped, turning towards you.
The look on his face broke you. He gasped, taking in a deep breath, and his hands went to his face. His eyes filled with tears, and he shook his head.
“Are you real?” he asked, and you nodded. He rushed towards you, and you couldn’t help the flinch. He sobbed then, stopping feet from you, unable to make himself hold you. “You’re scared of me.”
It was a statement, not a question, but you felt compelled to answer. “Not really,” you said, looking at him. “Maybe a little. I’ve never seen you that angry, felt how much you wanted to…I don’t know…hurt me.”
“No, never!” he said shaking his head, his hands reaching for you, then dropping. He didn’t want to scare you further. “I can’t hurt you. Physically causing you pain would kill me.” Tears fell from his eyes, he sobbed again, and this time you reached out for him. You pulled him into your arms, and he sobbed onto your shoulder. “I’m so sorry. You are my life, and I’m sorry that you thought I could hurt you. I’m just so damn sorry.”
“It’s ok, BamBam,” you said softly, running your hands down his back.
“My mom, she won’t come back,” he said, and you could feel how much it hurt him to say that. “She won’t be welcome here until she can accept you.”
“I don’t want that,” you said, moving back to look at him. “I want you to have a close relationship with her, and with your family, regardless about how they feel about me. I just want to be just as important to you as your family is.”
“You are,” he said, nodding. “You are my family now. You’re probably the most important member of my family, because I choose to be with you. I don’t want to lose you. I don’t want to lose you because I can’t let go of my relationship with my mom.”
“You shouldn’t have to,” you answered. “I will never ask that of you. Besides, your mom and I talked. She asked me to come see you.” His eyes widened, hope glinting in them. “I’ll come back, and I’ll work on building a relationship with your mother. I promise.”
“I love you,” he said, wrapping his arms around you, holding you tight. “I’m sorry that I scared you, and that I hurt you. I won’t ever again.”
“I know,” you said, firmly believing that this was the case. You knew he would cherish you, as much as he cherished his family.
Yugyeom:
Yugyeom sat in the studio, staring at the controls in front of him. He was alone, nervous over the fact that it had been a whole day and you hadn’t contacted him. He’d sent you messages, but you hadn’t even read them. He was distracted, unable to concentrate on the simplest of tasks.
“Yugyeom?” Jay’s voice found him.
Yugyeom jumped, turning to look at his leader. “Oh, hi hyung,” he said, straightening up. “I didn’t hear you come in.”
“Yeah, Gray told me to come and check on you,” he said, sitting down. “What’s going on?”
“I haven’t heard from Y/N in a whole day,” he said, tilting his head and closing his eyes. “I messed up, hyung.”
“Tell me?” Jay said, putting a hand on Yugyeom’s knee.
“I was nervous,” he said, looking at Jay. “It’s been a while since I’ve been a rookie, and I was nervous. I asked Y/N to come with me, sit with me, while I worked on my album. Then I met people, and I became friends with them, and it was easier to work on my album, but I still wanted Y/N here.”
“That’s understandable,” Jay said, nodding.
“I feel at ease with Y/N around, and I needed…need that,” Yugyeom said, closing his eyes as a tear fell. “DeVita and Gray didn’t understand why Y/N was being so quiet. It’s been that way since they started coming into the studio with me. I guess I was being neglectful, and they started making fun. Y/N heard, made a scene and went home, and I yelled at Y/N at home.”
Yugyeom breathed in heavily, and looked at Jay. “I don’t know how to fix this. Y/N thinks that I would be violent, and left.” He sobbed, and put his head in his hands. “I don’t know how to tell Y/N that I’m sorry, that I need them. I don’t know how to fix this! I can’t concentrate on anything because all I think about is that I’m never going to see Y/N again!”
“Idiot,” your soft voice found him, and he looked up, face a mess, tears falling from his eyes. “Don’t scare me again,” you whispered, and he shook his head.
You felt the impact of his giant body as he crashed his body into yours, pulling his arms around him. You lost your breath with a small “oof,” and you felt your shoulder becoming soaked with his tears.
“I’m so sorry,” he sobbed, his hands flat on your back, pulling you tighter. “I’m so sorry for scaring you, I’m sorry for not coming to your defense, and I’m sorry for making you feel that you had to run away from me.”
“Yugyeom,” you said, rubbing your hands on his back.
“I would never hit you,” he said, not paying attention to you. “I would never get angry enough, or frustrated enough to hurt you in any way, and I’m sorry that you thought I would. Please, don’t leave me though. Don’t stop coming with me to the studio. I can’t concentrate without you. I really need you.”
“Ok,” you said, nodding. Yugyeom shuddered, releasing a sigh of relief.
“I love you, Y/N,” he said, resting his forehead against yours. “I love you, and I need you with me. You’re my sanity.”
“I love you too, Yugyeom,” you answered, placing a small kiss on his nose. He smiled, sniffling, and sitting back down.
“Well, it seems I was not needed after all,” Jay said, as Yugyeom pulled you onto his lap. “Seems all he needed was his lifeline.”
Yugyeom laughed as you blushed. He nodded at Jay, who smiled and nodded back. As Jay walked out, you rested against Yugyeom, and he went right back to work, concentration coming back to him in a flash. All he needed was you.

❧ A/N: this one’s a little angsty I’m sorry
~ ※ 7 Drabbles for 7K ※ ~
“We should break up.”
4 words that absolutely crushed you. 4 words you never expected to hear. 4 words you definitely weren’t expecting to come out of Jaebeom’s mouth tonight.
“What?”
“We should break up,” he restated, “I think we need a break.”
“A break from what?”
“This relationship.”
“Why?” you looked over at him clearly confused, “Give me one good reason why we need a break.”
“I think you need some time to work on yourself.”
You stared at Jaebeom dumbfounded. What the hell did that mean? Yeah, you weren’t the best mentally but you didn’t think you were this bad off.
“You’ve got to be joking.”
He stared back at you, his face not cracking at all.
“This really doesn’t make sense to me. I’m not doing as bad as you’re making it seem!” you exclaimed, “Tell me, what is concerning you?”
"I just wish you would actually like yourself."
"It’s not that easy,” you scoffed, “I hate myself and that’s not something that can be fixed overnight.”
"Exactly. I think you need some time by yourself to work on actually loving yourself.
"You not understanding this,” you took a step towards him, "I hate myself but I love you. And loving you makes me forget about how much I hate myself!"
Both of you were silent. You honestly weren’t expecting those words to be coming out of your mouth and clearly neither did Jaebeom. You didn’t even know you were crying until you felt the tears dripping off your face. Your angry resolve melted away and you began sobbing. Jaebeom immediately came over and held you tight in his arms.
“Please- I..I don’t,” you hiccupped, “Please don’t leave.”
“Shhh, it’s okay baby. I won’t go anywhere, okay?,” he gently rubbed your back, “We’ll get you some help together. How does that sound?”
You nodded, burying yourself further into his arms. He just held you closer to him without saying a single word. He was going to help you get better but he wasn’t going to leave you to do it alone.

Duff (13)
im jaebum au series
one / two / three / four / five / six / seven / eight / nine / ten / eleven / twelve / thirteen masterlist
pairing: im jaebum x reader genre: angst, mature, smut plot: you are the duff and guys use you to get close to your best friend, heather, and turns out Jaebum is no exception, but as time goes on the tension between you and your best friend’s unofficial boyfriend grows a/n: hi, idk imma put out the worst trash and not overthink it, because at the end of the day its all about getting it done <3 hope y’all like it. and ive gotten my life together, so i’ll post more regularly fr now. not edited <3333
You snorted as you stared at the scene in front of you.
It was almost comical watching as everyone crowded around Jaebum, waiting like dutiful lapdogs for their master to offer them the slightest bit of attention.
You took a sip of your cool vodka with a splash of orange juice, clicking your tongue as one of the girls dropped something right in front of Jaebum. She shamelessly bent in front of him, picking up the tube of sunscreen and staying in that position for two seconds longer than necessary.
Your face remained neutral as if your eyes were closed and you were basking in the sunshine. But your right eye twitched as she looked over her shoulder at a smug looking Im Jaebum. A frown settled on your lips as you took in the way his lips tilted into a lazy smile as she moved towards him.
Your chest heaved as a molten fist gripped your heart, clenching it tightly as she sat in front of him. The burning spread all the way down to your tummy as you watched him squirt the sunscreen onto his hands and rub them together.
That son of bitch was about to rub sunscreen onto that girl's back.
He inched closer to her, and you could almost feel the heat of his body radiate against your back. As his hands touched her skin, his body leaned closer to hers, his lips close to her ears; you turned away.
Something lodged in your throat, and you tried to gulp it away as you stared at the branches of the palm tree swaying lazily above you.
You bit back a groan and closed your eyes. It didn't stop the ridiculous giggle from the other side of the pool though. Her voice stabbed your ears, causing you to clench your teeth.
You tried to will their presence away. You wanted Jaebum and all of him in that light blue loose shirt to disappear into the sea breeze, just like how it was meant to be. Just as this trip had always been, with just you and Heather.
It was always just the two of you, under the sun, deliciously warming your skin before you escaped into the cool water. It was always flirting with strangers on the beach and then cocktails until sunrise. It was a time to relax, unwind, to celebrate hot girl summer.
But it was far from that now.
Now the dreamlike days had been tarnished with demons she had invited with open arms. It was supposed to be quite sunshine and the dancing of palm trees. But now it was grating giggles and annoying assholes who wouldn't leave you in peace.
"Any harder, y/n and your teeth will turn into dust," you hated the way your body reacted to his velvety voice.
Speak of the devil.
You ignored him, but it was not that easy to shake him off.
"Was the big hat necessary?" He chuckled. You brought a hand up to your sensible white hat and turned to him with a glare.
"Sun damage is no joke, Jinyoung," you told him, unable to come with a better comeback. But kill them with knowledge.
An endearing smile bloomed onto his lips as he said, "I'm sure, y/n."
You looked away from him and tried to blame the sun for the heat creeping up your cheeks. The heat only grew as you felt his gaze remain on you. You turned to him, and his dark eyes behind those light shades watched you with that same smile that made your heart flip.
"Go away." You said simply, before relaxing on your back again.
Of course, Park Jinyoung wouldn’t just leave because you asked him to. Instead, the pool bed creaked as he settled into it beside you.
You tilted your head to find him sprawled comfortably, with his hands behind his head. The distant memory of his hands behind his head, while you were on your knees in front of him, flashed before your eyes. He smiled almost as if he could see what was happening in your head.
Silence enveloped you both as you lay in the cool sea breeze. The voices from the chatter around the pool floated in the atmosphere, and someone yelped as the sound of water splashing reached you. If you closed your eyes it wasn't that bad.
And at least, the grating giggles had somewhat stopped now. You tried to search for Jaebum’s voice but it was to no avail. Another flick of anger licked your belly as you thought of him whispering in that girl’s ear, talking softly to her as she batted her eyes up at him.
“Do you remember that time we went to Fiji?” Jinyoung spoke, pulling you out of the green slime you were sinking into.
You kept your eyes closed as you hummed, “I remember the blissful times when you weren’t annoying me.”
You heard him chuckle, before he continued, “This reminds me of the private villa we had.”
You remembered the villa. You remembered the days and nights spent together doing nothing but being lost in each other. Everyone thought you were on your honeymoon, and maybe it was. It was the last time you both were so incredibly happy together. As soon as you landed back home, you had found about his engagement to the heiress.
Jinyoung kept talking, “We had just come back from exploring the village when you decided you wanted to take a swim.” You couldn't help the smile itching at the corner of your lips. You knew exactly what he was talking about. He must’ve seen your grin, because you could hear him smile and shake his head, “I thought you were going to die. Your scream was straight out of a horror film.”
You laughed with him this time. You turned towards him, your heart hurting as you saw him laugh so freely. You missed him laughing like this so many times over the years. His shoulders shook as chuckled, “And then- then-”
He couldn’t continue because he was laughing so hard. You reached over slapping his broad shoulder, “It was a reasonable reaction.”
“I thought you were going to get brutally murdered, y/n.”
“I’m sorry I’m not used to seeing goats lounging around the pool,” you protested, glaring at him. But you couldn’t keep a straight face for long as another round of laughter escaped you.
“Well, I wasn’t the one that got chased around by a dog,” you snorted at him. His eyes widened as his mouth fell open.
“You were supposed to take that to your grave, y/n,” he tutted, his eyes glistening with amusement.
“Well, technically it was a puppy,” you clicked your tongue, smirking.
“A puppy?!” He chocked, making your grin widen. “That thing was not a puppy or a dog. That monster is used to protect the gates of hell.”
This time you laughed entirely. You threw your head back as belts of laughter left you. You gasped for air trying to calm down, when he continued, “I swear I still wake up shivering from nightmares about it.”
“Jinyoung,” you gasped, hitting his shoulder, giving him a silent plea to stop.
You both slowly lulled to a stop. The air between you thick with emotions you both were feeling. You could feel the same heaviness in Jinyoung that was slowly settling over your heart.
You spoke first, "Why did you come here, Jinyoung?"
He stared at you for a long moment, before shrugging, “Heather invited me.”
Something close to betrayal shot through your chest as you stared at him, shocked.
"Why?" you whispered in a low voice.
The smug look on his face melted as he brought his hands close to yours. They loomed over your hands that were turning white from your tight grip on the frame of your chair. Finally, they settled tightly onto his lap.
"For business," he cleared his throat. You didn't reply as your mind finally began to register that Park Jinyoung was actually here. At your hot-girl summer trip, but so was Jaebum, Bambam, and some other people. This was not a hot girl summer trip; this was something else.
Jinyoung continued taking in your silence, "It's a rich kid event. We all are heirs of big fortune, so we're networking."
You didn't answer again.
You didn't understand why, but you felt utterly betrayed being invited here. Heather knew you didn't like the elite crowd. You didn't like the way they looked down at the poor, how they flaunted their money, how easily they got out of trouble. You hated how immune they were to their own consequences.
But what hurt the most was Heather knew Jinyoung would be here, and she still invited you. She hadn't even given you a heads up. She had just invited you and left you to the wolves.
You scanned the area, searching for her. She was easy to spot in her red hot swimwear. Just like Jaebum, she had her own circle of groupies surrounding her. They were all laughing at something, and your cheeks flamed brighter.
You felt stupid being here. You needed to get away for a bit.
"Hey," Jinyoung's hand touched your arm. You turned to him with wide eyes, the frown on your lips deepening. You felt the frustrated tears building up as you brushed his hand away.
He let it hang there for a second before drawing it back.
"Sorry," he cleared his throat, "I was calling out to you, but you weren't listening."
You shot up from your seat instead of answering him. You grabbed the bag next to your chair and began walking away.
"Hey! Where are you going?!" He yelled quietly, trying not to draw any attention.
You just shook your head and continued walking.
You didn't fit in this crowd.
Even now, when you didn't mean anything to Jinyoung that could taint his reputation, he was still trying to hide his association with you.
You weren't thinking about where you were going. But all those summers spent at Heather's summer house had made you very acquainted with the area that you were sure you wouldn't get lost. You quickly found your way to the beach and stared at the near-empty beach.
"What a shame," you looked out to the sea, covering the glare of the sun with your hand, "It's just a nice day."
You pulled out your blanket to lay onto the sand.
Anyone can call you crazy, but you like to be prepared for anything. Hence your handy summer bag that had gone through countless trials and errors until it became the perfect summer bag.
The blanket resulted from a terrible day a couple summers ago when you and Heather had stumbled onto the beach and decided it was a beach day. The lack of a towel led to sand in areas that took days to get rid of completely.
You positioned yourself underneath one of the giant umbrellas and opened the blanket onto the sand. Two solid, tanned hands straightened the other side.
"Thanks," you smiled, finding a handsome man smiling back at you.
"No problem," his smile widened as he took in the hello kitty print on the blanket. His eyes flickered back to you as he smirked, "Cute."
"Thanks," you replied, as you bit your lip feeling embarrassed.
"Aye, come on," he clicked his tongue, with a teasing smile he said, "I wasn't teasing."
Even if you wanted to, you couldn't stop the smile spreading over your lips, as you nodded, "A-ha-"
Before you could say respond, a voice interrupted you.
"There you are."
His chest heaved as he tilted his head at you.
"What are you doing here?" You asked, confused.
Jaebum didn't answer you as he came to stand beside you. His sunglasses were pushed up on his head, his eyebrows drawn in concentration as he focused on you.
“You can’t just leave without telling people-”
“I told Heather.” You cut him off with the lie. Of course, Im Jaebum didn’t believe you, he could see straight through your lies all the time and it annoyed the hell out of you.
One time, when you were both working together, he had given you some of the lunch he had prepared himself. It was horrible, tasted like bitter acid, but you still took many bites and tried to act like it was nice, but he saw right through it. Or the times when you on the edge of a breakdown from all the stress, and even though you would say you were fine, Im Jaebum would give you the most absurd errands like going up to the rooftop and recording the sky for him for ten minutes.
Even though you both seemed to bicker every time you talked, he was always smiling at you.
But he wasn’t smiling right now. He looked somewhat pissed, and you really couldn’t understand why, because frankly, what you did was none of his damn business. You were just about to tell him this when someone coughed drawing your attention away from Jaebum.
“Oh,” you remembered the stranger standing in front of you.
"Sup," Jaebum did the little nod thing to him, smiling as if he had known him his entire life. You rolled your eyes at Jaebum. How could he look so pissed one second, and then be this happy chap the next? "I'm JB."
"Like Justin Bieber?" The stranger chuckled, and you almost rolled your eyes at the lame joke. Jaebum didn't seem to mind; he just shrugged, smiling, "Not quite."
"Ah, I'm Jackson, dude," he introduced himself.
Dude?
"Nice, dude, like Micheal Jackson?!" Jaebum teased him back, and the two laughed. You stood there, wanting to drag your blanket away and go lay down somewhere else in peace.
"Nah, bro. MJ was a crazy dude. I can't compete."
"Rubbish!" Jaebum gushed as he turned to you with raised brows. "What do you think, y/n? Is he any less than MJ, the crazy dude?"
You bit back the smile threatening to grow on your lips as you met his dark eyes in challenge.
"Y/n," Jackson cut in before you had to reply. He said your name like he was tasting it on his tongue.
"Yeah, hi," you replied, tucking your hair behind your ear. The sea breeze was really strong here, making your hair fly into your mouth.
You smiled up at Jackson, who smiled back.
Jaebum cleared his throat, drawing your attention. His gaze remained on Jackson as he said, "So what are you doing here?"
"Surfing, bro," he pointed his thumb behind to the waves and group of people on their boards. "Came here with some mates. Do you surf?"
"Y/n loves surfing," Jaebum replied before you could answer. You punched his stomach, making him groan before turning to Jackson, "No, I actually don’t know how to."
"I can teach you," Jackson said, leaning towards you.
Your cheeks flushed as his eyes scanned your face. You suddenly felt bare, as if you had not gotten ready this morning.
"Maybe you can teach a couple of us," Jaebum spoke, making you both turn towards him. His eyes didn't look at you as he continued to talk to Jackson. "I have a couple of bros who would love a lesson too."
"Oh, it was just for-" Jackson rose his brows.
"We'll pay you," he interrupted with a charming smile. "Of course."
"Yeah?" Jaebum nodded in reply. His eyes bounced between you and Jaebum, before he nodded with a grin, "Alright, take my number..."
And that was your cue; you tuned them out.
You stepped away from the pair and stood on your blanket. You brushed away the bit of sand that had flown onto it before standing up straight. You grabbed the first button of your dress and began to open it, suddenly feeling too hot as frustration began burning inside you.
Sometimes you forgot Jaebum was just another spoilt rich brat.
The soft material slid off you, revealing the yellow swimwear you had on. You rolled the dress into a ball and placed it under your head as you lay onto the blanket.
"Shit," you heard Jackson mutter, and you tried to ignore it. Suddenly feeling too exposed, but you didn't cover yourself. Instead, you cast your gaze over to the two boys.
Jackson was trying to hide it his glances towards you, but not Im Jaebum.
He was looking at you; unmasked.
"Okay, I'll see you later, bro."Jackson cleared his throat as he cast you one last look. "See you around, y/n."
You got onto your elbows and waved him goodbye with a grin.
You watched him walk away, slowly becoming smaller and smaller on the horizon.
Jaebum who was looking into the distance now, and lay onto your back again. A few moments later, you felt him lay down next to you, and you tried to ignore him. But the words were right on your tongue, stinging to be let out.
"You didn't have to flaunt your money at him, you know."
Jaebum let out a snort, "I wasn't the one flaunting."
"What do you mean?" You got on your elbows again and glared at him.
Jaebum rose an eyebrow, a bitter smile on his lips as he dryly chuckled up at you, "This is one way to get over your ex, y/n."
"Ex? What?" You sputtered, confused. You took your sunglasses off, "What the fuck are you on about?"
"You cling onto the first thing that comes your way to--"
"Excuse me?" You choked.
"Oh, alright then," he corrected himself like it made a fucking difference. "Flirting with the first guy who gives you the tiniest bit of attention."
"I wasn't-"
"Are you that desperate for attention?" He rose up to meet your eyes.
You didn't answer him.
Your chest hurt. His words shouldn't hurt so much, but they did. They burned you.
"Are you that willing for a distraction that you'll take it from anyone?" You didn't answer him. You just stared at him as his jaws locked and eyes hardened. He leaned onto his side, facing you perfectly.
His eyes finally left yours and went to his hand that reached for you.
You watched him as the back of his hand grazed the slope of your neck. You watched him, follow his hand, and watch you, as your chest heaved at the ghost of his touch spreading through your body.
His hand traveled lower, down the middle of your breast, making your breath hitch. His fingers splayed on your hip as his fingertips dug into your skin.
"Can't that someone be me?" he whispered. His dark eyes finally meeting yours.
A slow breath left you as you leaned in closer, getting lost in the way the velvety darkness in his eyes flickered with heat. His eyes fell to your lips, then back to your eyes. His fingers tightening on your hips, stinging.
You were so close to him that your could paint the gold flecks in his eyes, and count every dark lash that kissed his cheekbones when he blinked. Your gaze fells to his lips, parted and waiting; and then you stopped.
A bucket of cold water fell over you as you pulled away from him. Your eyes prickling with tears as you gasped.
It was so small you would've missed it. You could've easily mistaken it for excitement, but you knew him. You knew that smile all too well. That winning smirk that itched the corner of his lips.
It was all a game to him.
"You bastard," you breathed. Your stern gaze met his stunned ones. He flinched at your words. You moved away from him, and lay on your back.
"You are cruel," you gritted out, trying not to show the way your heart was shattering, "a complete asshole."
Just another rich sick snob.
You tried to distract yourself by staring at the sky. "There are no clouds today."
"Cloudless skies are better, anyway." He answered, his voice tight.
"The more I get to know you, the more I despise you." You told him, honestly.
Jaebum chuckled at that, settling back to become comfortable. His warmth of disappearing instantly as he drew his fingers away, "Well, you're not the first to experience that."
You didn't answer.
None of you spoke for a long time.
"Who was that girl by the pool?" You swallowed, your throat painfully dry.
"Who?" He asked, amused.
"It certainly wasn't Heather," you said.
"No, it wasn't." He said after a long moment.
"How could you do that to her?"
He stayed quiet for a long time before saying, "How can you, y/n?"
After that, no one spoke until it was time to go.

Day thirteen of kinktober - im jaebeom x phone sex
⊱ ──────────────────────── ⊰
You knew that dating an idol wasn’t always the most ideal situation, but you knew that you could make it work. Jaebeom always knew where you stood with him and you were always the first thing he thought of when he woke up. You seemed to find yourself incredibly horny when he wasn’t around and what made it worse was that no matter how hard you tried, your fingers were never enough.
Having no other option than to take matters into your own hands, you stood in front of your full-length mirror in your bedroom in your cute baby pink lingerie set. You grabbed your phone, deciding to send a racy picture to your boyfriend, one that you knew would have him going insane. After a few pictures, you sent your favorite before moving towards your bed, laying flat against the cotton sheets before trailing one of your hands from your neck to your breasts. Pinching one of the already erect nipples before continuing down, slipping your hand inside your panties.
You could already feel how wet you were, images of how things could have gone if Jaebeom were here with you. Before you could even get going, the ring of your phone went off catching you off guard. Groaning in frustration, you removed your hands from your panties and immediately perked up when you saw Jaebeom’s name flashing across the screen.
With a smirk, you placed it on speaker, “Hi babe,” You purred into the speaker as you heard him chuckle in response.
“Someone’s feeling a little needy. Aren’t you, baby?” He inquired and you hummed in response, “What were you doing before I called?” He asked innocently, but you knew right now he was going to be anything but innocent, “Were you touching yourself?”
“Yeah,” You sighed, “I was thinking of all the times you’ve fucked me so good that I couldn't walk. Or how magical your fingers feel inside of me,” You said, feeling your core heat up.
There was silence for a few seconds, the only sounds heard were yours and Jaebeom’s breathing before he finally spoke up, “I want to hear you touch yourself. Do it for me.”
You compiled without complaint, laying back against the flush bed, one of your free hands pushing your panties to the side before starting to play with your clit, “Jae,” You moaned and heard him take a sharp intake of breath.
“Keep going baby, Make yourself feel good by using your fingers,” He demanded and you quickly listened, sinking one of your fingers into your pulsing sex.
“I miss you,” You hummed into the phone, fingers working on making yourself feel good, “I wish you were here with me, making me cum.”
“I miss you too, baby,” He groaned and by the sounds of it, he was definitely in the process of unclipping his belt to jerk himself off, “Add another finger and keep moaning my name like the good girl you are,” Jaebeom exhaled, hand moving up and down his length, already feeling embarrassingly close from the sound of your whimpers and moans.
Hearing the sound of Jaebeom’s grunts only helped to turn you on even more, causing you to let out another moan and thrust your fingers at a faster pace, “I want you, Jaebeom. I want to touch you.”
“Soon, baby. So soon,” He groaned loudly, “But right now, you need to be a good girl and cum with me and show me so that when I’m back home, I can reward my pretty girl,” He said with a chuckle and before you knew it, you were receiving a facetime request to prove that you’ve listened to his instructions.

Irresistible
CHEATING AU
ANGST | LIGHT SMUT
You shivered as you snuggled up closer to your blankets alone in your bed. Your eyes wandered over the pillow placed next to you, empty which was where Jinyoung was laying a few moments ago. Before he got that phone call that he always gets around this time in the night. The only difference is that usually your not awake when Jinyoung receives this phone call. Your usually fast asleep ,tired from having to wait for him to arrive home. But he never did , at least not when you were awake. The only times you would catch a glimpse of him was when he was leaving early in the morning. He would place a peck on your forehead if he noticed you were awake, otherwise he would leave even forgetting that you were present in the same building as him.
Today was different though. You stayed awake until 2 in the morning waiting for Jinyoung. It was unusual for you to stay up that long, as you also had work and were too tired and worn out to even shower once you got home. You insured that you didn’t sleep. You needed to see him, touch him, kiss him and most of all ask him why the hell you both don’t spend time together anymore.
After hours of aimlessly wandering the apartment and eating random snacks , you finally settled down in your bed in the hope that Jinyoung would return home soon. Your droopy eyes looked over to the clock and you realised it was half past 2 .He should be home soon. After a few more minutes of tossing and turning you finally saw the room to your bed room open. You were met with a equally as tired jinyoung. His hair was neat and his tie was loosened, he carried a black suitcase in his hands and his shirt was untucked.
All your sleepiness was gone the second you laid your eyes on him. You didn’t miss the shocked expression on his face, upon realising the fact that you were indeed awake. He let out a breath as he closed the bed room door , placing his suitcase on the floor and removing his tie, followed by his belt. You watched him as he took of his blazer and took a seat besides you on the bed.
You both were silent. It wasn’t awkward. You both needed to be there in each others presence, You didn’t need to talk, just acknowledge the fact that your with each other .It seems Jinyoung had the same feeling as you , because the moment he laid his eyes on you he couldn’t hold back. He pulled you closer holding the back of your neck and instantly attaching his lips to yours. He licked your lips , not being able to hold back for what he had craved for so long. You couldn’t keep up with the pace of his kiss , and decided to just let him wonder your mouth with his tongue. You tilted your neck back giving him more places to explore, and he clearly got the signal as his mouth rapidly moved to your neck .
Before you knew it you were lying under him, as he moved his hips faster and faster as you supressed your moans. You ignored the uneasy feeling in your stomach as you felt him release inside you followed by the last few slow thrusts from which you also reached your climax. He pulled out with a groan from fatigue and rested his head on his pillow next to you. The silence felt uncomfortable for you. You wanted to speak and ask him why you both were never together any more. But you remained silent staring into space wishing you could fall asleep faster.
Jinyoung also remained quiet lost in his own thoughts which were shortly interuppted by the ringing of his phone. Your body shivered from the sudden sound and you could see jinyoung as he reached for it immediately. You wondered who was calling him this late at night but chose not to ask. “mmhm ill be there in 10″ and shortly after he cut the phone.
You couldnt help but ask, “where are you going its 3 in the morning?”Jinyoung remained silent as he dressed himself not paying any attention to you as you pulled the blankets up closer to your body. You expected a response but the longer jinyoung remained silent the more worried you got.
”Jinyo-”as soon as you spoke jinyoung interrupted you whilst putting on his watch.” “Dont wait for me i wont be back tonight. ”So you continued to lay there in the cold bed with tears shedding from your eyes. There was no way you both could go back from this. Not when you knew he was cheating on you.
He thought you never noticed the , the smell of perfume, the bruise left lightly on the side of his neck and unmissable scratches going down his back. You tried to ignore it , wanting it to all be a dream and that it was all just your imagination. Wishing, that after tonight he wont leave you. But as he exited the room tonight, you knew there was no way you could forget or ignore all this now. Jinyoung was cheating on you with not just anyone, but with your own closest friend. But you were yet to find that out.
