I dont think the fandom talks about it but i really love that every single piece of sky clothing is embroidered, because unless skyloft has embroidery machines thats all hand done. Which means either someone he knows makes a lot of them and gives them out freely (i give most of my projects to friends and family) or he would have paid someone for it, which means that either someone on skyloft lives of decorating clothing (and likely other fabrics) or someone just uses it to get some extra money (both are amazing since in the modern day people dont want to pay for handcrafted works what its actually worth)

Im so excited for Echos of Wisdom! I find it really funny that Nintendo keeps making it harder for JoJo to stick to the plan, I'm pretty sure it's Legend and Fable but I'm not certain any ways Im really happy!

I love how LU is a culmination of so many of my favorite tropes from other fandoms! It’s been really comforting and nostalgic for me despite the fact that I only got into it this year. - super worried about fandom auction so this would be mostly a register of interest that I’d take to more experienced people and use as leverage to start an auction; I’m not in a great place to provide much actual legwork here. Talking about this here because it's such an issue and it's driving me crazy. I've noticed some things when it comes to Judy and the Cyberpunk fandom. I get Judy is a very attractive woman and a lot of people like her regardless of their gender. HOWEVER, the amount of men who say "I wish she was into men" or "I can change her mind" FUCKING STOP!!

Let me explain why it makes me so fucking mad. As a woman who is attracted to women I have actually had men say shit like that to me irl when I've been in relationships with women. And many many women who are attracted to and date women hear that shit ALL THE TIME

How would you as a straight man feel if a gay man tried to push their sexuality on you and went "I can change your mind" or "You just need some cock to help you realize"

ALSO I have spent so much time playing RPGs over the years and the amount of well written romancable lesbians in RPGs is not a lot. And if they do have them they are either weird (like in dragon age inquisition how Sera is the only romancable lesbian but she's literally freshly 18 and very obviously still got a younger, playful mindset which is okay but offer another older option for older players. It feels gross to me to romance her) OR the romance is very obviously created for the male gaze and not actually for lesbians or wlw at all.

I find Cyberpunk and I'm beyond happy to know they include a romance for every person regardless of which way you swing. And to see the amount of men who write fanfics, make ai bots and use mods that make her straight PISSES ME OFF BEYOND ANYTHING I CAN EXPLAIN

okay i think what bothers me about the lionblaze “intrusive thoughts” plotline if we can call it that (saying because im not sure its intentional, just careless) is that:

1) lionblaze acts on his intrusive thoughts and iirc the narrative DOES assert “yes he would do this! its in his nature! thats how he is!” i dont think i need to explain why this is deeply offensive. and,

2) in a series as misogynistic as wc, it feels strange to have one of the main male characters have thoughts about torturing and killing his former female love interest. not that youre a misogynist if you experience intrusive thoughts aimed at women- but we have to consider author’s intent and bias here. in a series where the women get much harsher, more drawn out injuries and sicknesses and deaths than their male counterparts, its weird it’s focused on heathertail. especially when given the nature of lionblaze’s insecurities, these thoughts would also be about his friends and family. (at least thats how it is in my experience) again, not saying HES a misogynist, hes not real, im pointing out the general treatment of female characters by the writer. and finally,

3) the books kinda take it upon themselves to be like “UGH isnt heathertail a MEAN BITCH????” after the eclipse battle. I mean, I think she has every right to not like lionblaze after everything, but again, narrative framing- but what is the purpose of having her act so antagonistically towards EVERYONE in the rest of the series before the writing team change? for events that dont even concern lionblaze too? is it to give lionblaze consequences for his actions…. or is it to kind of go…. “well she’s a cunt anyways so lionblaze wasn’t ALL wrong about her.” remember they dont like the male protags being wrong, and for YEARS the common fandom consensus on heathertail was that she sucked for heatherlion and she’s a horrible bitch for “lying” and she’s too mean to sweet himbo boy lionblaze for no good reason.

basically its just a mess of ableism and misogyny if you think too hard about it and try to say lionblaze was intentionally written to have intrusive thoughts. which pretty much tracks considering what series we’re talking about

I LOVE HER SOO MUCH OKAY . tbh i rlly rlly wish in general genloss went more into character deveklopment or was just Longer bc they had SUCH good personalities and god i want to know More..

what makes gl!niki for me is her acting- she is chillingly good at eliciting a reaction, and i think thats the goal both in and out of character. honestly i need to rewatch genloss im rusty but the way she saves the majority of her distress for when she's (mostly) off camera speaks to how she knows she needs to be what she precieves as likable, and playing up what she thinks are her 'best' qualities like kindness, and less explicitly, her ability to hide her emotions and please an audience. she needs to be good content for the audience if she has any hope of survival. she thinks no one will want her if she isn't nice and easy to digest. she doesnt percieve worth in herself if she isn't what shes assigned to be, a nice and kind person. even under extreme distress. even when she could die.

i know some people percieve her crying/fear to be fake or ingeniune but i really prefer the take (semi confirmed from cc!Niki) that she's switching it off or repressing her real emotions in a desperate attempt of survival.. it would be really suprising for someone to not be so incredibly scared in that situation. i remember when niki did a stream discussing genloss she said she pulled a lot from the reactions of how people would comment on her crying in stressful events like mcc and that it was directly kind of taken from those experiences of being a public figure (and by extention a woman in these spaces bc lets be real thats why she gets that backlash). i think thats so incredibly powerful to use those experiences to build a character it makes me sick cc!niki ilysm. gl!niki ilysm.

Like, 'look at me! i'm completely rational, not overly emotional! i'm so useful and likable! i'm good content!" and ITS INSANE!!!!!!! ITS INSANE!!! HOW DO U COPE WITH THIS. I FEEL ILL. i nihachu defender lover brain so like . this is all just my own rambling idek . i love her to pieces </3

9. worst part of canon: we all know about this... taka(+orochimaru)s characterization thrown away in the war for jokes or to act as plot devices... i fear i may never forgive kishimoto. the atmosphere wasnt so tense that we needed karin to be crazy about sasuke again + that overt about wanting sasuke to bite her (?!). why is suigetsu acting like he wasnt captured and experimented on by orochimaru but worked for him like karin. why is juugo acting like sasuke is kimimaro when he clearly made the difference before. orochimarus weirdass change of heart because we needed the hokages to show up. or even suigetsu randomly stumbling upon a convenient scroll detailing how to undo shiki fuujin and his first thought (before he meets sasuke again) is to pocket it because it would be useful for sasuke?? like why was it in suigetsus hideout of all places. why does suigetsu even know what it means. im sorry i just dont think orochimaru discussed the matter of his arms & the first 4 hokages souls over the vivisection table and i dont believe sasuke ever brought it up during hebitaka because WHY WOULD HEEE. etc etc etc like am i making sense? they really are just there to move the plot along and play out a joke once in a while. nothing about what happened when taka separated matters at all in the war theyre barely even characters

10. worst part of fanon: 100% the tendency to make everyone friends i think its so boring!!! like in what world are taka invited to karuis wedding? in what world is karin a guest star on the real housewives of konoha (=joining them for brunch). what exactly do temari and karin have in common other than both having the Kishimoto Woman Personality Type #1.

its so much more fun to have characters who just cant stand each other. naruto dislikes taka for literally no reason and its hilarious we should keep it that way. no way im ever believing karui genuinely befriends sakura i think they should HATE having to see each other all the time because their girls are besties. it will always feel more natural &balanced to me + im more inclined to believe 2 characters whove never talked to each other could be great friends if youve also considered who they DONT mesh with at all.

1. Fuckin just dont use it? This is assuming that said hypothetical person is incapable of saving up to commission an artist. Which in this economy can be understandable for those that live paycheck to paycheck. I would argue however, as someone who lives paycheck to paycheck, that they have better priorities than having a painting on their wall or on their computer. Machines can automate a lot of that work for you. Hell most of the mugs in your cup board are probably made by a machine. Made perfectly identical to eachother that you bought at walmart or something. Designed by a human but still made by a machine. Same with pins and charms and stickers you find of etsy. Designed by humans made by machines.

You can't automate the design process. That's why things you buy in store or online designed by a human can still be considered art, are still appreciated by people as art and are bought to support the artist. Consensual copies of the original designed/made by a human maybe but still better than stolen work chopped up and put together by a machine.

The thing about fandom is that it has always been about art and the artists. Whether you write, sing, paint, or what have you. You cannot automate the process of making something original. You cannot automate the process of appreciating something. A machine cannot appreciate the show you love. Producing generated responses to a roleplay you are in just shows how little you value someone elses effort they put into their writing. People who think you can automate art don't view art as art. They view it as content to consume. Entertainment for them.

Its a greedy and selfish desire that drives people to use "AI" to automate content for them to consume. They don't want human connection. They want entertainment and they want the easiest way of obtaining it. Its lazy and soulless. And I'm sick of it.

Writers treating Charles like he should be omniscient, and siding with Erik on anything.

Letting Erik get away with everything, making Charles the one who should "change" -insert wtf???? meme-

Opposite situation where Charles life trauma is worse than Erik's?????? WHAT? Or making Charles not capable of coping with his own trauma - something he's been, honestly, awesome at throughout all the movies, except for that brief decade of break down (much deserved cause fucking hell, poor guy, just wish those closest to him weren't assholes, except Hank for that time being)

Babifying Charles or Raven.

i was generally not into these sorts of fandoms to begin with. i wasnt on the superwhopotterlock side, i was on the homestuck/dangan ronpa/anime of the month side of tumblr, if that gives you an idea of what i was like lol. around 2014-15 i was very much in a community that is kinda similar to what you might see on twitter now, where if you had any interests in media that portrayed anything problematic, that means you are in full support of that problematic thing. if dan howell said something racist in 2010, it doesn't matter that he wasn't being racist in 2015 he's still racist and liking him makes you a racist etc. and of course, rpf is included in problematic topics. if you ship real people, even if said people say they don't mind it, you are a sick pervert and you should be in the loony bin for being so depraved. and if you write or read any fiction that has immoral acts, it means you support those acts in real life too and you are trying to normalize abuse and SA (yknow as if whitecishetpatriarchy hasnt normalized that enough) and you're a danger to children and you deserve to rot in prison (yknow as if a queer person writing stories about queer people hasnt heard that one before)

Human JJ is a tall and lean man, he’s like 10 ft (or 3 meters), but he mostly like a regular human. My goal was to achieve the most resembling to canon monster image in human disguise.

So, this humanoid can’t change his size. But it may be peculiar, that he has a very long hair, which he combs under the hat with bends and hairpins, so his haircut looks “short”, but if he unbends it, his hairstyle makes him look “angelic” (and bigger I would say xd) like JJ has in the end of the movie.

Generally, JJ is not aggressive to people, he has no special interest towards them, he is just an introvert, who doesn’t like to be seen by others. I have been thinking how to transfer his behaviour in the movie, so the best idea was that JJ as a human is probably very photogenic, and he faced a lot of agencies, photographers and journalists that would like to film and pic him. He’s some kind of a “star”, but doesn’t like this attention and sick of people hanging around. So, my human just moved to this side to hide from all these popularity.

so basically the gist of it is the mc is barou’s younger cousin or sister or smth (rip barou male lead but the familial bond is the main theme of the story so he’s still important) and he disappears to go on a journey when he’s of age and he’s never heard from again!! originally mc doesn’t want to go on a journey but eventually she’s decides she has to in order to find barou ☝🏻 they don’t live close enough to a professor for her to get an actual starter so she takes the sibling of barou’s first pokemon, which is a houndour, so that’s her starter!! she goes through the region in search of barou, collecting badges and meeting the crew (who i will elaborate on in the next paragraph hehe) and catching pokémon/having various misadventures etc etc but eventually they realize an evil team (because is it a pokémon au if there’s no evil team) is after them after originally thinking mc is one of them because of her houndour as they believe the crew is a threat to the team’s goals 😨 it’s eventually revealed when mc breaks into the base that the leader is barou HOWEVER barou is very clearly acting strange and it turns out he actually died right before challenging the champion of the region and the evil team used a ghost pokémon to puppeteer his body so that they could use his team since he basically had the strongest team in the region and would’ve been champion if he didn’t die 😓 the evil team wants to get rid of pokémon training as a system because they believe it takes advantage of the unfortunate (such as nagi) which the mc does agree with but she can’t agree with their methods and especially possessing barou’s corpse 😭 so she and her houndoom kill barou for good which leads barou’s own houndoom to basically kill itself (the rest of his pokémon are inherited by mc and mostly like her because they realize how much she loved barou and how she never stopped looking for him) and this proves aiku’s theory that pokémon do form familial bonds as mc’s houndoom mourns for its brother (also ik i just mentioned nagi and aiku without context but i’ll explain who they are now + their teams and hopefully it’ll make more sense then!!)

so the main group that reader travels with is herself, tullia, otoya, and karasu!! otoya is the descendant of an exiled clan and he’s trying to regain their honor by being a legitimate trainer instead of all sneaky the way his family members were, karasu is the younger brother of the region’s flying-type gym leader (yayoi 🥹) and he ran away from home to prove himself as a trainer in his own right, and tullia is an aspiring pokémon breeder who’s basically training up her own pokémon so people want their offspring?? if that makes sense lol

barou’s team: houndoom [starter], pangoro, zoroark, krookodile, sharpedo, weavile

tullia’s team: infernape, lilligant, vivillon, lanturn, granbull, hitmonchan (all pokémon mentioned to be somehow helpful to people, particularly attractive/used as companions, or, in hitmonchan’s case, having offspring with multiple evolutions [without being basic and just giving her an eevee])

karasu’s team: honchkrow [starter], pidgeot, staraptor, talonflame, garchomp, lucario (he mostly has flying type pokémon because yayoi kept giving him rejected gym pokémon to keep for himself; lucario and garchomp are the only ones he catches himself)

chigiri used to be a very famous rapidash racer but he has a very bad accident and injures his leg to the point that he can’t race anymore so he also has to become a trainer in order to earn money

team: off-the-track rapidash [starter], zebstrika, dragonite, gorebyss, liepard, pyroar

hiori literally just becomes a trainer so his parents leave him alone and he can have some peace and quiet; i’m thinking he appears in some kind of fossil-related side quest hence why he gets a fossil pokémon

team: kingdra [starter], metagross, nidoqueen, luxray, aurorus, swanna

isagi is completing the trials to become an elite four member so he kinda runs into mc and co every now and then?? he seems to have known barou in the past so mc tries to talk to him about it but isagi doesn’t know what happened to barou; or, if he does, he’s elusive about it and refuses to answer mc’s questions

team: charizard, lapras, stoutland, machamp, leafeon, raichu

aiku is in training to be a pokémon professor and is currently doing research for his thesis about whether pokémon are capable of forming familial bonds on the level that humans do or if it’s more instinctive pack-bonding for them

team: aiku doesn’t really have a team per se since he mostly does catch and release for research purposes but he does have an arbok that stays with him permanently and is his partner in crime and rizz

um…anyways…that was a lot as you can see…LMAOAOA idk who the endgame would be in terms of a love interest (probably nagi if we’re being real) because the main focus is honestly mc and barou’s sibling relationship ☝🏻 i also don’t know who tullia would end up if anyone i just wanted another female main-ish character so it’s not just mc with a bunch of boys 😭

HELP I LITERALLY HAVE A FORMULA FOR REJECTING GUYS tried true and perfected so feel free to steal!! i just say “hey i’m flattered you thought to ask me and i really admire you for speaking up but i’m not interested in you like that. i hope we can still be friends!” (i ghost immediately afterwards though ngl) that only works if they’re straight up abt it otherwise if they’re being sneaky i just ignore/ghost or make up a boyfriend/parental excuse 😭 i have made some opps sadly but for the most part it’s worked out well!!
