- please dont get confused, this man has no idea how periods work - like how is it humanly possible for you to bleed and then stay alive and kicking? seems made up tbh - one eventful evening (before you both started dating), you and nami had to sit him down and give him a long-ass biology lesson, explaining what the whole phenomenon is, what pms-ing is and yada-yada - before this, he firmly believed that every once a while a demon possessed you all (and he saw absolutely no issue with that, what a fucking icon) "ohhh" he's laughing, "so that's what it is? i thought you guys like got possessed" "excuse me?" nami's on the verge to hit him in the head again and you're wondering if the constant hits are the reason luffy's braincells are (half) dead "i see, i see. i get it now" - he lied, he still doesn't quite get it - but its fine - so, it is just another random tuesday and (post-dating) you know syou love luffy. but holy shit, if he yelled "YN DOLPHIN!! LOOK LOOK A DOLPHIN! SUGEEEEEE" and giggled again, you might yell at him. you really do love him but if he stole your food one more time, you're convinced you might smack him too. "luffy" your voice was unusually low, devoid of any warmth, "stop that." "whatt" he whined, grinning afterwards as he scooped up more food from your plate "luffy. i said STOP IT." your voice rose higher and silence hung uncomfortably over the dinner table - luffy just looks at you dumbfounded - the way you're fisting your hand on the table and looking at him has the crew afraid that youre gonna murder the captain in cold blood - well, i mean ur considering the possibility too, so, you mumble a half-ass apology and return back to your room to be alone - lying against the soft sheets, you can smell the citrus detergent and oh boy, now you feel guilty - i mean god, that's luffy, that was nothing out of the ordinary for him. why did you yell at him? fuck, are you a horrible girlfriend?? - oh boy, now the tears are welling up too - "yn?" luffy whispers as he slips into the room, closing the door behind him and now you're really crying - i mean look at him, why did you yell at him? - "im so sorry, i don't know why i yelled at you, that was so shitty of me-" "hey, it's okay" he's hugging you tight, "you did nothing wrong, i can be a little bit dumb sometimes. i should have not taken your food" "what? no, i am not mad about that. i, i dunno-" you sniff, "maybe i'm just pms-ing?" "huh??" - took a while for him to remember but now that you've jogged up his memory, he looks so guilty, so, he spends the entire evening apologizing and offering you food, he even promises that he wouldn't point out dolphins every time he sees them (you had to reassure him that he can continue doing that)

- but now onwards, this lovely himbo tries to keep in check what he's saying, often giving you a lingering look as if asking "this is fine right?"

- but now you've got your personal defender!! - ussop made a joke and you're not laughing (because it wasn't that funny tbh) and luffy is ready to smack ussop and tell him to "not annoy" you. zoro is being dumb and luffy can see it on your face that he's pissing you off lowkey, so, he will actually tell zoro to not be a dick - mf just starts picking up fights left and right for your sake and now you have to give him another long ass lesson to make it stop - ps: he does not stop. - this man turns into a chihuahua, anything bothering you must be struck down. - very, very observant from now on too. he needs to make sure you're feeling good - also asked sanji to make your favourite desert - he just loves you so much and wants you to be as comfortable as possible (still doesn't know how female anatomy works though-)

You pull him by his shirt towards you. You put your lips against his. To be fair he didnt push you away. It seemed like he was enjoying it. He wrapped his arms aroud your waist and pulled you closer to him. He was suprisingly a good kisser. He had such soft lips. Ok this kiss is lasting too long. You can pull away now Y/n hahaha... You started running out of breath so you pulled away.

Then you notice who you just (almost made out with) kissed . The older Haitani brother. Ran fucking Haitani. Not only was he the hottest guy in your school he was also probably the scariest. He used to rule the entire of Roppongi with his younger brother and he went to juvie when he was 14 for murdering someone. He is also in a gang which isnt supring at all. Youre going to die. You will be murdered by him and his gang. Might as well start writting your goodbye letters

"Do you just kiss random guys all the the time or am I just lucky?" He gave you an amused smirk. His lazy lilac eyes staring at you.

"Oh my god im so sorry I just panicked" You wanted to run away so badly. Why would you even do this? Just to make your ex jealous? You saw them in the hallway behind you. But they werent there anymore. Its as if they just disappeared.

"So you kiss people when you panic?" He started laughing. You ran away quickly. You even forgot your book on your desk but you didnt care. All you wanted to do was go home and cry.

You were doing your homework but you kept getting notifications. So you decide to check your phone. And you see 100+ messages from your friend gc. You thought that some fight happend or one of your friends bf dumped them. But when you read one message you notice that its talking about you? All of the messages were about you.

"WHATT Y/N SINCE WHEN WERE U AND RAN HAITANI DATING??"- "Y/N YOU DIDNT TELL ME, YOUR BSF THAT YOU ARE DATING THE HOTTEST GUY IN OUR SCHOOL?"- "Is it true that both of you were making out in the hallway?"

You were so confused but then you noticed that someone probably saw you with him and now the entire school thinks you and Haitani are dating. What now? You cant go back to school? Oh my god why didnt Haitani just kill me when I kissed him. You finished your homework and went to sleep immediately after completing them. You started praying that you wouldnt wake up the next morning.

Sadly you didnt die in your sleep. And your parents forced you to school. You just hoped that the rumour didnt spread around the entire school. Maybe they just forgot about what happned. Maybe Haitani forgot you kissed him

Nope you were wrong. Everyone knew. It was pretty obvious. You take one step into your classroom and the entire class goes silent and just stares at you.

"Omg Y/n why didnt you tell me? I thought I was your best friend how could you not tell me about you and the older Haitani???" You friend put her hands on your shoulder and started shaking you aggressively

"Careful or your going to kill the poor girl. " Your other friend walked up to you and looked at you with her arm crossed "But she is right Y/n how could you not tell us?!"

"Uh well you see.." You didnt want to lie to them. They were your best friends after all but the truth is just .. sad.. "Yeah you see I saw my ex in the hallway yesterday and I paniced since I want to seem like im so over him even though im not over him at all so i kissed the first guy i see and that turns out to be Ran Haitani and now everyone thinks we are dating" Luckily someone interupted you before you could say anything stupid.

"Is Y/n L/n in this class?" A guy with red hair sticked his head out of the door frame.

You walk towards him "Uh yeah im her. Do you need anything?"

"Well.." the guy had a big grin on his face "Your boyfriend wants to talk to you. He is wating for you at the roof top" He said in probably one of the most annoying voices ever

Everyone heared what the red head said. They started being so loud and all of them came over to you and started asking you questions about your "boyfriend"

After struggling to leave the room because of the crow you finally succeeded. Am i actually going to go talk to him? Im going to get myself killed. You didnt want to talk to him at all. What fi he was planning on killing you or what if he has a girlfriend and she wants to have a "nice chat" with you. Your head kept coming up with worse scenarios one after other. But you decided to face your fear and talk to him.

When you first get to the roof top you see him. You can never get over the way he looks. He is so fucking attaractive any girl would fall for him easily exept you. Or thats atleast what you tried to convince yourself. Its not like you liked him but just his lilac tired looking eyes. His long balck and blonde hair...

"You can keep staring all you want doll" You didnt even notice you were staring at him and wait did he just call you doll?

"What do you want." You keep your head down looking at your feet not being able to look him in the eyes

"You think you can just kiss me and get away with it?" He lift your head up with his index and middle finger. "Look at me"

The way his lips move. Those are the lips you kissed. the soft lips.

"Why are you so focused on my lips? Hm?" he laughs and wraps and arm around your waist and pulls you close "Do you want me to kiss you? "

"N-no!" you started shaking your head. But in reality you really wanted him to kiss you again. Just once.

"How about I take you out tonight hm? what do you say about that" You only nod as a respose. He lets go and takes out his phone "This is my phone number"

You type the phone number into your contacts and you say goodbye to him and by saying goodbye I mean running away covering your face.

As soon as you get home you go to your toom and scream into your pillow. Kicking your feet up and down. Then you got the message

"send me your adress so I can pick you up"

you took your phone and held it close to your heart.

I know it's going to be one of those stories I try not to read it too often because "whatt if it loses its lustre with time" but. It's. Just. So. Good. I honestly don't know what to say? Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 12 Review

Oh my god... What the heck is even going on?

So our cover page is Natsu and Lucy, and Natsu I hope you enjoy that brain freeze.

So we open on Jellal confronting Touka. We learn like how Avatar was devoted to black magic there was a group devoted to white magic. Now this is cool, but literally if you watch the anime recently, that arc was done in 5 episodes. So this feels really odd on how much effort is being put into it.

Like if there was like something tying into Tenrou or hell edolas, that make more sense, given all thee time on it.

So Jellal describes White magic as a philosophy of nothingness, which that doesn’t make sense. Fans of yugioh gx might compare this the darkness and light in that series and how darkness led to creation while light was subjugation. But Black magic is clearly about ending life or manipulating life. I guess you could dumb it down to all life, but literal Ankherseram black magic is portrayed as nothing but death. So wouldn’t white be about life? I guess nothingness as life without personality isn’t wrong,  but this feels like a stretch.

Also, Mashima said anyone could learn any type of magic. So why is that an abnormality? Like if this was Black Clover where you are assigned a single affinity that be one thing.

Suddenly Laxus steps in, and want to make this clear. I don’t exactly hate the idea behind this. That Laxus wants to defend someonew ho is a part of his family, given his new found view on FT, and its using the family aspect of FT on its head. Someone bad could be using FT’s family mentality for personal benefit. Which is interesting.

Okay, well Jellal has a reason, she is  suspect and as a guild master he has authority to take her in. However, Laxus you of all people know that people in your guild will still harm it.

On the one hand im torn, the shounen loving half of my brain wants to see this fight. But the logical half says that these two are mature adults with enough common sense to take this to the run knights. And confrontation is over after this page.

Yeah for a chapter named after the two, its got very little to do with theem. Instead.... The worst thing in the chapter happens. We cut to Diablos’ ship and we see this.

Yes you are seeing this right. For people who were saying I was to harsh, calling this a submissive Erza fetish that Mashima is putting out, I ask you read this chapter.

You know I can’t tell if Skullion means this is temporary as in terms of magic, or temporary as Kyria will grow bored, but I do know that this is nothing but sick and tastess. Also props to Madmorel for having some class to be disgusted by the perv in the group. Like that is becoming a rarity these days.

We are guided down to the lower deck where natsu and wendy are being held, the motion sickness keeping them in check.

I’ve been putting this off long enough, its time to rant. This is bull shit. People told me, i was too harsh on mashima, but at the least I thought this was some sort of temporary thing that was meant so Kyria could get a win in a fight, but this might be some permanent magic effect feels disgusting.

Now, people say that this happened cause people would rag on Erza, called Erza fights awful, and that now Mashima is going in the complete opposite dirction. You didn’t like strong erza, fine! Here’s weak Erza, you happy cynics?

But that’s not the case. People didn’t like Erza because she was “too strong” she was someoone who went from this amazing badass female character, to this static friendship speech spewing tool that never truly got any development. Its painful for people to see a character like Erza not grow after she had developed so much in ToH, but it just was never followed through. All the times she won just felt like a poor spectacle without any character behind it.

Now you could say an erza who needs to get her strength back could be character development. No. Cutting away a person’s strength with “magic” is not character development, its forced regression. Its the author literally creating an unrealistic situation bcause he has no idea what to do with her  after ToH, hell he can’t even fully commit to a love story between her and jellal.

When Erza came onto the scene, she was cool, in control, yet could over react at times. To see her be pushed to her lowest by ToH and then recover and face midnight in OS, is peak Erza character shining through. That this is how erza’s development deserved to be treated. But Watching Erza crawl on the ground, be spanked, and cry for mercy like a hentai doll, all because of plot convince magic is so gross to me. Its ejecting the Erza that we all love and stripping her of all that personality just for this.

So if you blame this development on people who were too hard on Mashima about how he was writing Erza, I, a critic and very judgemental person, find this worse than any of the nakama power or skimpy armors.

Erza being trapped in Kyoka’s sex dungeon was bad, but you know what, EErza actievly resisted it. She didn’t want to be there aand tried to fight back. It wasn’t handled well, but that t least felt like whatt her character would do in this situation. But this was forced upon her and this is nothing more than an Erza made for this arc.

Also, lets step out of this and look at this from the meta perspective that this is also extremely lazy. In Eden’s zero there’s a villain who is all about subjugating women right now, and Mashima couldn’t be bothered to not let that bleeed into his other work. If that doesn’t scream creately lazy, than I don’t know what will. Also that frog thing in Eden’s zero is actuaally better giveen the fact he’s not mind bending away personality, he’s forcibly turning them in statues to do with what he pleases against their will.

Im not saying this cause im anti ecchi or that im anti  mashima, im anti such a hack story writting device that weather you stuck it out as a fan of erza’s till the end of FT or liked her at first but than soured on her, I ask, would you tolerate this? I’m not claiming ownership of the character of Erza, but I am asking do you think that this is worth a character arc because our author couldn’t think of anything better to do with her. You know if you knew Erza was so strong,Ad that in actuality she would sweep away most threats, why did you bring her? I honestly would’ve preferred Jellal and Erza being out of the action cause they had a kid or something. Erza having to pick between biological family and her guild family seems like a better direction to take her character in than this.

To see Erza cry because someone’s magic made her into a slave is so lacking in power than say the sheer emotional weight of watching simon die. Like this is shit is just awful.

We cut to Luccy and here is where I get to credit thee art. Sure Lucy is in a bikini, but what matters in frame is the wounds on her legs. Which is a nice us of having aa skimpy dress and not sexualizing it.

We get a flashback of Lucy realizing Kyriaa took her friends and this is where I give Caramille a big fuck you. Oh sure, this did happen after they showed up, but Diabolos clearly was going to find the place eventually and more importantly, you did fuck all. Like, go screw cause you have contributed literally nothing.

We find out that there is another ship in the area and that Gray is okay because he was saved by you can guess who...

Okay on the one hand, this definitely seems like Brandish’s kind of entrance, but on the other. Fuck you, Hiro. Like she just passed by and saved Gray? Hw? The entire ocean was either freezing or evaporating, what is your range? Also, who is in charge of Alverez? Yajeel? Oi...

Post Chapter Follow up: Its easy to say why I don’t like this chapter. I feel so sick by the sheer amount of laziness and disgust in the slave Erza plot. Like, my god this is so wrong. Not because of the subject, human slavery makes sense in a series aimed at teenagers, but the sheer disrespect that Hiro treated this character, made my blood boil. At the very least in Alvarez, Erza still seemed like she was the same character from beginning of the series.

People who follow me weekly on this review series are probably going to ask when I will stop harping on this Erza thing. Well each week, it  somehow get worse and more gross.  First time it felt like a cheap win, second it was bad use of domination, now this is full blown fetish material.

As for the brandish thing, I know why she is here, Lucy is literally not strong enough to handle 3 DE’s by herself with a few exceeds, and I’d accept that Brandish reentering the series. But maybe leave out Gray? I guess you could say that this is a subversion of the Musica captured by Doryu, but this feels lazier. You could’ve just made this a big “step up Lucy plot,” but no, had to save Gray, even though Skullion should’ve notice when his magic didn’t actually ash up Gray. Plus think about, if they save save Natsu and Wendy this arc and beat these three dragon eaters, wouldn’t some added bit of tension to the quest be finding diablos’s hideout and saving Gray from the “dinner table?”And I was cool with the kidnapped gray thing, but no, we had to have kidnapped everyone else.Also if he was made small how did he survive the water? Like he’s the size of a pin, he’d drown.

Now the stuff with Laxus and Jellal is actually fairly good Its an interesting take on FTs standards vs the consequences of their past when we are suppose to be rooting for Touka to be extracted. And involving two characters that really have been in the moral gray spectrum make them the most qualified for this subject matter. While i definitely didn’t like the Touka plot at first from how disconnected it was from everything (and it really is kinda shoed in on this point) it still is the more interesting plot. It has more intresting ideas than, “more dragons” and is involving the characters that come off as the most interesting.

Final Verdict: 3/10

There is clearly some interesting idea at work here

However, the way the plotline for the dragon portion of this arc has become a mess

 What does it mean when someone turns up their nose and walks away right after saying something in a soft and slightly different sounding tone?

Like when someone wakes you up then waits till you get downstairs to say not to do something but-

What is it when they sigh anytime you BEGIN to speak? Even if it is definitely NOT in the same tone?

What the tuck is it when they realize you had a legit issue or thing to say and then wont let you help and groan about it and blame you?

What is it when they then as they go inside with the same tone and body language say 'it was full since yesterday.' "the garbage at everyone else's house is out.'

Because I think I was pretty accurate when I was YELLED at to stand still and speak but cut off and not allowed to speak as she shrieked at me in front of my dad about how I was lazy and rude and was being bitchy in some kind of silent 'do something' to my dad

And I said she had been being 'passive aggressive all morning, so I dont think its wrong to be a little upset and leave.'

Why is it that when I am cornered and forced to be quiet and not say anything and let her rant about my dad or whatever ails her which is somehow always dad's fault but if I say anything she puts it down and argues why I might be wrong in ways that dont even always make sense that she is allowed to turn it on me or be upset or be mean to me and I never say shit? Or when I do and ask nicely 'please don't, you're upset right now but don't rant to me anymore please. Or you are upset and need a minute I'm going to go' that she can be mean to me and demand I do that anyway and receive punishment from dad for nothing so she can get her way them come in and say little things that are like little 'here's a chance for you to be nice to me' lures, how come everyone in this house agrees with me verbally but when it happens I get silence or even worse bad attempts at making me the bad guy and going along with this like its pretend just to keep her pleased?! How come no one can fucking help me correct this shut thing she does or at least not be part of it???? Silence is by far better!

And right now they are by the door discussing their actual problem AND me and will be there forever all day today!

I'm also not allowed to move but I keep getting told to get out but when I move to do it right then im not allowed to leave!!!

My brothers her biological kids can do exactly what I somehow get in trouble for or even be rude or say no or not call and tell her things and make decisions themselves which I've been trained to think is burdening and unfair to them and its fine?! but then somehow its something that's my fault or they will find something to be upset at me for?!

 I feel like I'm not a person

If anything I'm a child and will never not be

But I can't rely on them

And they start fights with me and then hold that over my head

I'm 22 and I can't fucking drive because on the third lesson in two days she just had a fit and I couldn't tell whatt she wanted and she said I was 'unteachable' because when she says left left right I mean shit nononononono' I'm supposed to have already known and done what she asked as she points in the opposite direction of what she says each time.

She forces arguments to happen to 'make me get a move on' in ways that prevent me from doing the thing even though I asked her 'please dont challenge dad's man cards to teach me things we know he can't teach me or that go against the plan I CURRENTLY have in motion!'

She's the one that taught me that if someone loves you they wont deliver low blows.

She has told me that I am worthless and will die alone like my dad. That I am just like my whore mother. that my 11 year old ferret I exclusively care for is gonna die because of me. Even though I'm the only one feeding watering and playing with him and cleaning his area and bathing him between work and constant errands and 'not errands' where I am told to do do do do but then stopped and told do and stopped and then cursed for being worthless.

Then never apologized for any of it. Just quietly like a child sort of badly pretends it never happened. Only to probably start another fight over why I'm upset and not talking to her.

She tells me to do things she already did and did them before I would have been able to. She recalls events only partially and incorrectly but it is law and then when she throws her official tantrum over it she excuses herself to now sy whatever mean thing she has wanted to!

 I am done with this.

I find it hard to focus when I'm upset.

I need to pack.

I already made a commitment to moving away.

But I can't take my ferret with me.

And I don't know how ugly it'll end up being the day of.

I probably wont be able to come back if I fail or if anything happens.

I hate feeling this way.

I feel weak and stupid and lesser and frustrated all the time and incapable and unaccomplished. I am behind in everything I was ever supposed to do or wanted to do, I'm so dumb and incapable and childish compared to everyone else and I can't fuckin do anything about it.

so, went doctors on tuesday about my depression bouts & anxiety issues, and to see about getting retested for my dyspraxia (i hadn’t been properly diagnosed in the past when i was a kid, the doctors just guessed i was somewhere in the autism spectrum) so i can actually acquire proof so i can apply for living support seeing as i cant get a job. even though i’ve applied for maybe 150+ in the past 2 months?

well, they sent me home with some contraceptive pills for my hormones to see if that helps my depression lift, bc they think it’s “just a bump in the road...” it’s not a fucking bump in the road. i’ve been having breakdowns all week. in fact, no. i’ve been suffering for fucking years and it keeps getting worse & worse!! and i’ve already been on the pill and if anything they made it 10 times WORSE. and as for my retesting proposal they said they can’t do anything with that which is really shit bc it’s pretty obvious that i have problems with the way i talk or act or come across in general - hell my leg was shaking the whole time. so i dont know whatt hte fuck is happening there, so we’ve got to do this through the national autism society. i need this proof anyway in case if i get a job in hte future they’ll know that i’m not taking the piss. life’s fucking difficult for people like myself. to everyone else without these problems it’s a walk in hte park and they don’t understand what it’s like to be different.

also to top things off, yesterday i had a fucking full-on breakdown after looking at my account balance yesterday. literally last week i had around £120 on me, now i’m somehow down to £44 odd. that doesnt sound as bad but the situation’s a million times worse than that. before i went out my mum asked me how i was doing and i said i had around £300, bc i was thinking of my situation the previous month. how hte fuck am i going to clear this one up?? i feel that if i tell her that i made a mistake in remembering how much i had she’ll kick me out for being a fucking disgrace. and also i keep thinking about how my friends will view me bc i have no money now. like if tehy get me anytihng i wont be able to pay them back and it sucks bc i’ll feel like a sponge, even though they did that even before i had money. ive been assured that i’m not a sponge a million times but my mind twists it around and makes me think otherwise.

so now im sat here thinking about the right time to reveal this to my mum, working myself up again.
