Dorothea has a moment of weakness.

Or strength, maybe? She’s not quite sure, but there’s a lavender haze that’s cast over the two of them as Connie walks her home, talking about every little detail of his day. It’s been a while since they chatted like this, giggling arm in arm, bumbling through the streets of the city they fell in love in. And Dora allows herself to believe for that moment that all it would take is this, for her to pretend that nothing’s wrong, and maybe it will eventually become truth again.

Dora walks past her husband once he opens their front door. If this was any other date night, she would have made her way over to the living room to sit on the couch and listen to Connie’s pick of music. He always had a way of selecting a vinyl that perfectly fit the mood. It was one of the first things about him that she had fallen in love with. If this was any other night, Dorothea might have seen the envelope first.

But this wasn’t any other night – they had ditched their dinner plans, and Dora walked straight into the kitchen to prepare them a snack and bring out a bottle of wine. She was singing softly as she pulled a bottle of red from their wine cabinet. The lavender haze that had cast itself onto their evening was aglow, the thread between them taut, whispering to her. Isn’t this what you want? It murmured in her ear. Where else are you possibly going to find something like this?

Dora walks back into the kitchen and kicks her flats off, leaving them in the middle of the hallway. She turns the corner, about to ask if he’s hungry, when her eyes fall on him, on the papers he’s holding in his hand, the broken look he has on his face when their eyes meet.

She knows.

He’s never looked at her like that, and that’s how she knows, the orange envelope taunting her, and the faint thought crosses her mind that it’s really a bit silly how a stack of paper can unravel a life.

But it isn’t just a stack of paper, is it?

The calmness in his voice jolts her. She was expecting him to cry, beg, ask for another chance. It’s the one moment in their relationship that she truly realizes…just how much he loves her. An unquantifiable amount. Enough to let her go. Because she knows in that moment that he will do what she asks. No question.

The lavender haze dissipates, whispering I told you so on its way out, clearing the room. Just like that, Dorothea Hawkins has found herself back in the real world.

“Yes.” She whispers. The thread between them snaps.

I want to finish and publish my work about F!Leo going back in the past (with a diff twist about it) but I feel like that trope is become too common and no one will wanna read it so I wrote it for nothing

So yeah we all know that thing of villain Dia and Drasna and how she wanted to be a hero yeah

But like, in the villain Iris au, imagine if Diantha and Iris had a similar conversation tho. Like, after that tournament in Kalos, Dia and Iris were vibing outside the League, talking abt the tournament and how proud Diantha was of her. And ofc, that made Iris really happy, and she was thanking her and Lance (even if he wasn't w them yet) for helping her and for defending her too. Diantha said it was no trouble at all, she couldn't stand the thought of Iris not being happy in Kalos, and to find out there are people who looks down on her, well, ofc Dia's gonna give em a piece of her mind. She did ask tho if there are people like that in her own region. Iris wanted to tell her. She wanted to tell her everything. But she held her tongue, forcing a smile, she shook her head, told her that the people of Unova were supportive of her.

And they started talking abt other things, from pkmn, to Dia's movies, to the other champions, to the stars. Iris loved stargazing, it always calmed her down.

Back at home, she always loved how she has a clear view of the starry night sky in her room. She loves the stars, she studied about the constellations forming with each twinkling luminous body that were in the darkness of the sky, giving light to guide those who have wandered too far. She loved pointing out constellations with her pkmn, w her grandpa, w her friends. It was nice. And she's telling Diantha abt it too. Pointing towards the sky, she went on how abt the constellation of Libra, of Scorpio, of mythological figures, and even those who are in every history textbooks.

"then there's.. the heroes of Unova," she pointed at a set of stars, aligning in an intricate way that if you've no eye for creativity, you won't ever get to appreciate. Though, as she pointed at the constellation, her voice became quiet, smth Diantha noticed.

"something on your mind, darling?"

She hesitated for a bit, then she let out a hollow laugh, "this might sound silly but.. do you.. do you ever think I'll be like a hero?"

Diantha's mind flashed back to the memory of a younger version of herself asking Drasna the same thing. She smiled softly at Iris, gently pulling her close to a side hug, she said, "of course, my dear. I'm sure you'll be a great hero."

"like the heroes of Unova?"

"no, you'll be better than them." And Diantha kisses the top of Iris' head, going on how she's strong and such, Dia is sure she'll be a hero.

That made Iris really happy tho, that someone really believes she'll be a hero. Ofc, she's not gonna let Diantha down, she'll be a great hero, she'll find her own legendary dragon, and then Unova will see that she's better than them.

(Btw the four warriors thought Sukuna Attacking at them was Training They didn't realize Sukuna was trying to kill them. They just thought sukuna wanted to become more stronger so surprised attacks doesn't make them realize Sukuna has an Intent to Kill them.)

They only realize Sukuna was trying to kill them When they got reincarnated and remember their past life )

- When people ask velvet and venner about what you do they flex about you doing folkloric dancing - Baile folklórico, "folkloric dance" in Spanish, also known as ballet folklórico, is a collective term for traditional cultural dances that emphasize local folk culture with ballet characteristics – pointed toes, exaggerated movements, highly choreographed. - She makes you practice a lot but Venner tries to convince her to give you breaks but he does also remind you its velvets way of trying to care for you. - You love showing your dances towards Veneer and Velvet sometimes if you feel proud about it - Velvet likes to do your hair and make sure the outfits look great on you if its a dress she makes sure its perfect if its a suit she makes sure to iron it properly - Venner hums to the music and enjoys how you move around as he is a very proud older brother and clapping to the beat and hyping you up. - Velvet and Venner may be troll kidnapping artists but you didn't know that at all - Though when you run into their makeup room while they were gone to fix your suit real quick you stubled upon Flyd in a perfume bottle making you worry about your older siblings and what they were doing - The worry in your eyes made you scared of what else your older siblings who you looked up to have done...
