Thoughts on hunter the vigil?

I am a looot more familiar with hunter the reckoning than I am with vigil tbh. I know that vigil doesnt really have the imbued which is prolly a good choice. Dont get me wrong i love the imbued and i love the messengers in htr. But it is quite religious leaning and overall I think i prefer regular humans like teaming up together to fight the unknown and monsters much greater than them. I think I enjoy how v5 made a standard hunter game without the imbued. Tho i do wish they will get their own book of smth later on cuz im a big fan of being able to choose wat u wanna play. But i doubt wod will do that. I assume itll be like the SI book. Which ergh. Dissapointing (and I adore the SI)

EITHERWAY general thoughts on them both, i love the way how humanity and friendship is a corner stone of it all. But also i enjoy to look at it more critically. All hunters have to be a lil fockin wackadoodle to do wat they do. And they are just folk with weapons n such fighting wat thry assume are monsters while also lacking the propper knowledge about these monsters. Its a fear of the unknown. Look at vampires in vtm. Most are pretty damn bad. But not all. Some choose to sustain by animal blood and cling on to their humanity. Others have no other choice and simply try to survive underneath the boot of their sect. And then a hunter cell shows up at ur haven who think ure a terrifying monsters when really ure just some guy who got recently embraced and u didnt choose the vampire life either. Its a wee bit funny. But also one can read some more critical undertones as well when looking through the lense of reality.

Besides that tho, hunter is kinda fucking funny. Like, terrible situations usually but. Real fucking funny as well. I highly recommend hunter the parenting for all just so one gets the idiocy that can be a part of a hunter game. Hell theres just smth hilarious bout a group of humans trynna stop forces beyond their comprehension no matter if they fail pr succeed itll be a great time to write or play.

It also gives me great trans masc enjoyment tho i couldnt tell ya why. Maybe cuz u can play it a wee bit like dem taxi driver or john wick movies which are very ya know TESTOSTERONE YUH typa movies. Which i very much enjoy. Me n my friend been watching those movies lately for our toxic masculinity movie night~ its all been great fun.

this is a comic i did for the 90 minute winter gift exchange over at the @kakairu-discord-server ❄❄❄ the theme was "food is a love language" and my giftee was multishipperfanatic (ao3)!

i tried to fill out their drink request of the grinch drink: peach schnapps (which looks so yummy pls google it), as well as the tropes of modern day au, soulmate au and--it's not really obvious cuz i didnt manage to get to these panels--also the mob boss and civilian au (with ruka being the mob boss and kashi being the civilian). UH and also eventual obikakairu if this was a long fic cuz i was thinking obito doesnt have a mark in this ;P

yeah kakashi totally took one look at iruka and thought "no im gonna give him a fun holiday drink instead of his usual whiskey" bc that seems like as good a pick-up opening as any

obito's the usual bartender and kakashi offered to come in to help during the increased holiday business after obito complained they were short staffed. it's kakashi's first week.

i had three more pages (optimistically) roughed out that i couldnt outline (which i couldve spent properly drawing lol; lesson learned for next time!) and what happens is before kashi or ruka can say anything else, ruka's phone goes off and he chugs the drink and dips without paying.

kakashi's kind of stunned and obito comes back from the backroom and asks if he missed anything and hey, where's iruka? kakashi's still sort of processing so he's like "he... didnt pay" and obito's like "oh, he doesnt have to."

kakashi's like "why" and obito's like "remember how i told you this bar is favoured by the sarutobis and under their protection, and that youd have to be okay with that before you helped out?" "yeah?" "well, iruka's the head of it."

kakashi's shook and goes "whAT" and obito's like "???" and kashi says "he's my soulmate" and then obito goes "whAT" and that was gonna be the proper end of the comic lmao

obito's worked there for a while and he and iruka have been lowkey flirting for a while. obito is lowkey why ruka shows up weekly, and this is why obito calls the head of the sarutobis by his first name. he's also childhood friends and occasional v casual fwb with kakashi. this is supposed to be a kkir-focused thing so i wont mention too much but the scars are still A Thing bc team minato got into a car crash when they were young and it's been a source of Drama for obito and his police family (team minato all lived tho)

kakashi is actually quite normal (for a guy who has an eidetic memory, is technically a genius, and favours icha icha). he's a teacher at the local high school (when he finds out naruto's protected by the mob and practically iruka's son, he has this moment where he's like "maybe i would have been less strict with him if id known he was a mob kid" and iruka laughs and is like "nah. dont tell him i said this but youre his favourite teacher"

(nothing changes at his job despite dating the head of the local mob lol)

iruka's words are "youre normal???" bc when he was really young he thought hed be ruining someones christmas by being a mean jerk to someone (he kind of loves the holidays out of spite now) and when he got adopted by hiruzen and ended up taking more and more responsibility in the Family, he thought maybe he'd be inadvertently ruining someone's holidays bc of mob-related violence. encountering his soulmate in a totally mundane routine event for him threw him for a loop, as did finding out the grinch thing was referring to a drink. (he'd never heard of it before kakashi. it's now his favourite holiday drink.)

iruka has tattoos covering his back. just felt relevant to mention.

First meeting and recognition of feelings

Badgerclops was undoubtedly the least unphased by your appearance, sure seeing a new species was still shocking but all in al you were just like the rest of the mammal, birds and reptilian civilians that adorned pure heart valley and the world they resided in

But unlike mao mao badgerclops was always looking for a reason to hang out with you, he didnt care if you were a villain or not he just knew he thought you were neat! He’d usually ask you to play videogames with him or watch Kendo Ken with him when he snuck out to slack off during the sheriffs training hours

In a way he reminded you of adorabat but more chill, he was obviously just as curious as the rest and was second in place for asking questions about your customs, heritage and even more risky questions like how do you reproduce, of course that was away from the innocent ears of his batty companion

Over time the more you hung out the closer you two got and eventually you were deemed an honorary member of the team, Mao mao allowed it on two conditions, one you were really close to BC and two your opposable thumbs were an asset to mao mao if any one ever stole his gloves

The day he realized his feelings for you, you two were doing your usual slacking off routine playing a new video game that had just been released which had been coincidentally released on your arrival date. You were just chilling and softly leaned in against the soft mass of chub and fur next to you, Badgerclops noticed this and couldnt help but flush and feel pride as he noticed how relaxed you were. The rest of the night was really just filled with the two of you cuddling and endlessly playing the game until mao mao had to force you two off and out for some fresh air Light beeps and boops came from the illuminated screen that cascaded over the floor and spilt onto the couch illuminating the figures of (y/n) and badgerclops. The once rowdy living space was now filled with a comfortable silence as (y/n) leaned into badgerclops with a relieved sigh leaving through his nose as a soft grin was plastered on his face. Badgerclops jumped slightly and turned his head to look at (y/n) cuddling up and into his furry belly, his face turned red but his shoulders relaxed and he leaned slightly into (y/n) as well.With both men content and comfortable they played through the night and well into dawn as well.

Admission of feelings and relationship habits

He liked to internally brag that he was more open about his feelings than Mao Mao however it was actually YOU who had first initiated the confession. You had gone to everyone you trusted with this information, king snuggle mane, Adorabat, hell you even went to Ol’ Blue to try and get ideas for how to tell him. However you wer usually told you were over thinking and to just tell him during doing something you both liked

SOOO you kicked mao mao and adorabat out of the house at 7pm on a saturday and set up a little table filled with so many snacks and candies that you both loved and called badgerclops into the living room

He was happily surprised and in no time the games began, The fun went on for hours into the night until you both ended up laying down next to each other, both of you were redder than tomatoes and your heart felt like it was going to explode

Bc was worried at first, which caused him to sit up with you in his lap and ask you a soft yet concerned “Dude whats wrong?” and thats when you blurted it all out, How much you loved him and his witty inputs to whatever mao mao had to say, his caring and sensitive personality, even his pudgy belly it was all spilt

You were nervous as you waited for rejection but was only met with the larger man picking you up for a loving embrace that nearly crushed your ribs, he was smiling like a dork when he stepped back slightly and fell back into the couch with you. Responding with a soft “I love you too dude!!”

But surprisingly not much changed into the relationship, that is not much in what you did for date nights or in off time :)

Badgerclops had picked up the nicknames handsome, honey and jellybean to add to his repertoire of dudes and bros

He also began to get more touchy, always having to be holding your hand if in public or cuddling you on the couch. Of course he would always ask especially in public if you werent the biggest fan of pda or touching in general

He found a sort of comfort and confidence in you that he never really knew he had until you two had gotten this close. Now he was the farthest thing from a romantic but he had his own ways of making you feel loved

Badgerclops and (y/n) were once again on the couch, the place they practically spent most of their time at, watching some new show (y/n) had been excited to start streaming. However it wasnt going as planned. (y/n) let out a ‘bleh’ sound as his tongue poked through his lips and he turned off the tv “Man and i was so excited for that show too, but of course they already hinted that it’s going to end with the stupid ‘it was all a dream ‘cop out!” badgerclops let out an amused huff as he furrowed his brows upwards and layed an arm over the back of the couch to bring his boyfriend closer to himself. “They cant all be winners Jellybean..” that only made the smaller male pout even more, badgerclops internally squealed, even when (y/n) was mad he couldn't help but think he was cute. “I know! The new dlc for Kend Ken vs the world just dropped! Why dont we go out on the town to pick it up and get some ice cream?” that caught (y/n)’s attention for sure as the smaller male whipped his head around faster then McQueen in cars. The human stumbled up nearly busting his ass on many occasions “LAST ONE TO THE PLAZA PAY’S” BC laughed following (y/n) shutting the door behind them as they left the house for the first time that day.

I finished the second doctor awhile ago and i fucking adored him. he was just a  silly old man and he cared about his friends so much ;w; i thought it was rly sweet that he took in victoria but also like my man this fuckin babey child lost everything and ur putting her into terrifying and dangerous situations like SIR. i lov LOVED the rly sweet moments she and the doctor had tho, specifically the one in the tomb of the cybermen where theyre taking turns sleeping. and when she left, jamie was so devastated he cares he much. hes a huge women protector and if theres no women around to protect he only has a half hour til his brain explodes. LOVE THIS MAN. HES A FUCKING GOOFBALL. hes brave, headstrong, and denser than a brick and with a heart of pure gold. and zoe. zoe my fucking bb grill. first of all i absolutely love it when she tears ppl into shreds with her huge brain. and like,,, i know it rly wasnt addressed again but i rly felt with her struggle of being so logical and computer like that ppl would give her a hard time about not being emotional (OH THE IRONY) and i wished that was addressed more? i like how her and the doctor are on the same like intellectual wavelength and he and jamie will tease her about it a lil like ‘oh did u calculate that too’ and she’ll be like yeah i fucking did what did u do huh huh. she was the best and these three were my fav team in a long time. all of their departures made me so sad but im also surprised it wasnt sadder? jamie and zoe being forced back where they were when the doctor picked them up and they dont wanna go!!!!! but when theyre told they have to theyre like aw :( alright like NO MAKE A STINK ABOUT IT!!!! especially zoe!!!! shes just going back to ppl who wouldnt rly listen to her or take her seriously as a person and i think she shouldve been more upset honestly!!!!! i loved it tho when the doctor and the other time lords were watching jamie when he got back to his time and he immediately sees a redcoat and is like ‘oh ill get this bastard’ and chases after him with a knife while the doctor just smiles and laughs cUZ THATS HIS BEST FUCKING FRIEND. GUHHUGHG. i love how throughout the doctors life he still loves jamie and thinks of him as one of his best friends ever. the second doctor is definitely somewhere in the top for me out of all the doctors ive seen. ill prob listen and read a bunch of his short trips and other stories thru big finish with him

uh oh grumpy!!!! grumpy guy!!!! grumpy guy thats pissed off at his ppl for stranding him on earth!! but ofc hes still got some silliness in him, i dont think he could survive without it. i thought this was a fun setup for the doctor cuz it rly challenges him. he cant go where he pleases, hes stuck using very limited or primitive technology, hes sent along or dragged places when things get fucky and has to sort them out, has to deal with soldiers, other military ppl, ppl of authority that 90% of the time doesnt listen to him, and he fucking hates it. and he hates it even more when the timelords start using him and make him deal with their problems. hes trying so hard to get his life back to normal. he loves earth but more as a playground then as a place to live. i think liz kept him sane in the beginning which is why he was so disappointed when she left, which like me too king there wasnt enough of her she was awesome. and jo :3. i lov her. shes not the brightest but her heart is in the right place. i fucking loved when the doctor was complaining to the brig how he couldnt just hav anyone as an assistant and needed a scientist and the brig just goes,,,, yeah i can get you a different assistant,,,, if you tell jo that youre letting her go. and of course he wouldnt. im not sure if he could in any of his regenerations. hes a grump but still a softie!!!! i cannot accurately describe my love and joy for the eighth in words. besides words like hes my blorbo,,, the scrungkly if you will. i LOVE HIM!!!!!! s o much!!!! hes kind, real goofy, genuine, full of compassion, sarcastic, theatrical, and soooooo fucked up :). ive listened to all of charleys and lucies era including their further adventures (my girls my fucking beloveds), the stories with mary shelley, just started dark eyes last night, and im on the 17th book in the edas. i adore charley and want to listen/read everything there is with her in it, which ive done a lot of already, just not her stories with 6 yet. i wanted to watch 6 in classic who first but since im not even done with the third doctor yet ITLL BE AWHILE. and lucie BABEY. i think the best dr/companion relationship is when theyre just best friends. just two fuckin goofballs that enjoy being around each other. lucie loved the doctor so much cuz they had so much fun together and she was rly good at getting shit done. cuz its lucie miller ofc. ANDANDNAND WHEN FUCKING SUSAN CAME BACK i loved hers and the doctors reunion u could hear how happy both of them were just to see each other again U COULD HEAR THE SMILES and it KILLED ME. my favs of the eda books so far are vampire science, genocide, alien bodies, kursaal, seeing i, and the scarlet empress. and i lov sam so much. starts off as a tough butch teenager that wants to do good for the world. i think its very cute that she tries to be all cool and nonchalant when with the doctor cuz thats soooo teenager behavior. at first i refused to acknowledge her crush on the doctor (i wanted it to be familial cuz thats what it felt like!!!) but i like how she explored her thoughts with that. i mean she was way in over her head by starting from the ground up on a different planet in her far future just so she woudlnt have to face the doctor cuz she was so embarrassed. #girl i must say. now shes over it i think? in the scarlet empress she said that she loved him to whatever that thing was in that river but it wasnt clear to me if it was romantic or if she was just saying that they were close (im also stupid so). hope its not romantic, ive never rly been a fan of romance (ex ive never rly cared much for tenrose). ive been saying this from the start give this old man a child to care for (not like a beby child like a teenager/young adult). ANYWAY im very excited to continue dark eyes, i lov molly very much so far, and the rest of the books. and a bunch of other audios with the 8th dr like short trips and specials.

i listened to the first audio from dalek universe 1 and uh wow. its good!!! ill be honest i dont remember some of it cuz i was rly high and tired listening to it but it was still alot of fun. i was worried i had to know who anya was before starting but luckily that wasnt the case. its funny going back to the tenth doctor cuz he was my top favorite for the longest time so im just like,, ‘whos my fav little pinstriped hellion :3 U ARE U FREAK!!!!’ i dont hav much of an opinion yet since ive only listened to one story but so far its fun !! and will def listen to more.

At first, i wanted it to be some regular A.D. au that demons in hell and angels in heaven and they are enemies bla bla you know all that beautiful aus like that already

so welcome to my version of it, kinda crossover like.

In hp universe we have muggles - wizards/witches. I turned this into humans - angels/ demons. So humans are like muggles, living their life with no magic and no idea about it. Angels and demons are like wizards/witches, have magic and knows about humans. Angels and demons are not holy creatures, they belong in Earth and lives there.

Angels have light magic. They have white, bird like wings and that light magic comes from wing's feathers. Only most powerfull angels have ring on their heads (i really dont know its name...)Demons have dark magic. They have black, bat like wings and that dark magic comes from wing's scales. Only most powerfull demons have horns on their heads.

Light magic is creator, dark magic is destroyer. Simply, an angel can create a light, but cant make it disappear. A demon cant create a light, but can destroy it.

Because of that, most demon and angels works as team aand lives with each other. And a note, Hybrids cant exist, they simpy just demon or angel. Because dark and light magic destroy each other, one dominate other in every situation. (Also pureblood supremacists? They are still here, turned into all demon or

all angel families. Kinda still purebloods??)

Normally, angels and demons doesnt need to use wand to use their own magic. But they have it anyway. Why? To be able to use other magic kind that they dont have. Let me explain.

I thought it would be pain in the arse to live with not being able to basically cast Lumos but not Nox. Or opposite. So, im sure they would try to find a way to use other magic kind. Then i thought how???

Basic. An angel will have a wand that uses the power of demons wing's scale. A demon will have wand that uses the power of angels wing's feathers. Most impostant point is, actually that wands are just like in normal hp universe. To be able to use it as other magic kind, person need to power it up with feather/scale regularly. Because of that, every demon and angel has to donate some in periots, to Ministry. But some people like families or Aurors, ones that works as teams, they doesnt get it from Ministry, they get it from their partner. Because emotional bond between users makes is more powerfull. ıdk how, it just does because i want it jhgfdfghjkl also ✨magic✨

I think now i can move on Hogwarts and our Hphm characters. Thats where things gets exciting jhgfdfghjk.

There is just two houses now, for demons and angels (I couldnt find a name for them so if you have l e t m e k n o w p l s).

Demons, main color on uniform is black, as a second color person can choose one or two of cold colors (basically shades of blue,green and purple). House symbol is Dragon SİMPLY BECAUSE İ WANT AND İ CAN?? but also it has similiar wings with demons.

Angels, main color on uniform is white, as a second color person can choose one or two of warm colors (basically shades of red, orange and yellow). House symbol is Abraxan because wings and its light colors

Here a simple drawing of Talbott as angel and Rowan as demon, just because i wanted to see something about au. Also i didnt think about uniform much, so there is a chance i can make it more beautiful. ALSO i made Rowan demon because how they are mc's house, i mean they need to in mc's kind, but you feel free to change this if u want

İn hogwarts, every demon has one main partner, an angel. And one secondary partner, another demon. Same goes as angels. And anegl have one main demon partner and secondary angel partner. Main partners makes the real team.

Night is demon. Their main partner is Talbott -angel- and secondary partner is Rowan -demon- The team is Night-Talbott. Rowan and Talbott has really nothing jhgfghjk.

i really resent that my brother has so much audacity about female experiences and takes forever to believe a basic fact about our lives. like literally the most important people in his life are women, and it takes a fucking army for him to understand the most basic shit. ok i looked for like 3 seconds and couldnt find it so im making a new one.

unit chief emily was one of the absolute worst additions to the cm plot.

emily joins the team full of secrets and espionage and mystery and Thats her character. the lone wolf type, and reserved older character. Her character arc is her growth with the team, and her learning to trust them which is genuinely resolved in s7, until she leaves (whcih is a whole different thing so im not gonna get into it rn lol)

the doyle arc had been prepared for since s2 when she had first joined the team. the drop hints all the way to Valhalla. it was prepared for her to be this character shrouded in mystery and the unknown- and the other character interact with her this way as well. whats interesting is how she keeps EVERYONE (mother included- very strong tell) at an arms length. when hotch comes to her apartment, when she urges jj to go to will, when shes becoming friends with morgan, she strays away from talking about herself.

the resolution to this is when she comes back, and thats why i personally love s7 for team moments. shes not hiding so much anymore, shes open with everyone, gives advice, helps people out. when she leaves, no matter how bittersweet- its fitting. and shes the one character that comes back in cameos and is mentioned.

she is like a foil to hotch in some ways- not an authoritarian like him, but a leader; she breaks rules he sets and she calls him out on his prejudices; she actively works against the higher powers (strauss) from the beginning of the show. yet no matter what, her solutions end up working. hotch learns a lot of about being unit chief FROM her imo- he learns to relax a little more and sit back.

however, unit chief prentiss comes back and is literally the spitting image of female hotch. she doesnt even go gray lmfao. that horrendous fuckin wig.

she follows rules to a T, and she makes reckless decisions that just dont benefit anyone (walkers death). u know- even things hotch wouldve let slide she doesnt !! and the fun part of her character and what makes her Emily Prentiss is absolute gone. she follows his leadership model to a point. its so boring and obviously a failed attempt to keep watchers- trying to bring back two loved characters but instead killing both.

she literally becomes the people she hated the most !! and the biggest setback is these two exact lines-

beginning seasons hotch: “the director is just a politician. they dont do the work we do”

later seasons emily: “im going to be director of the fbi no matter what it takes”

or smthn along those lines. WHAT its literally one of her biggest traits that she hates politics. god
