I don't happen to have a link to the full film of Here Comes Elska but I know where all the clips of Trey and Matt's cameos can be viewed. Right here on YouTube! (The clips are all safe for work, don't worry.)

For the others they were in or involved with behind the scenes, I don't have much in terms of moving image, but I know of stills I can share.

I believe Sex 4 Life Too is the one they were in (or messing around on set) with Carrie Fisher. Those set pics of Matt in the silver jacket were taking while that was being filmed.

This post has more screenshots, including Trey playing piano for a bunch of naked people and one of him pretending to direct one of the actors while wearing some striking leather pants.

There's also this rarer one of Matt that was taken from the film's website. A quote from him about his experience can be found here.

Based on the film's IMDb page, it looks like this image of Matt watching two people have sex next to a rainbow flag is also from that film, but taken on another day.

I'm still kind of confused about their involvement in Profiles #8. From this Wiki page, "While researching for Orgazmo, Trey Parker was invited to an adult industry filming party at Buck Henry's house, which had been rented for the shoot. The resulting footage of the xxx-rated film Profiles #8, includes in the background mainstream actors Carrie Fisher, Richard Dreyfuss, and Timothy Hutton, in addition to Trey Parker and Matt Stone."

I considered that it might have been an alternate name for Sex 4 Life Too, but I've found sites talking about the premiere and it was still called Profiles #8, so maybe they ended up messing around on two film sets with Carrie Fisher! Who knows what they got up to tbh.

anyway, a bit more of a serious answer, thats honestly one of main things that made me wanna start this au. i love character exploration, observing them under a microscope and putting them in situations (especially difficult or unusual to them personally) to see how theyd act.

i really want to put shilk through the horrors of regaining something that he lost a long time ago when he started corrupting. and now that he is basically a regular cookie again, he has the opportunity to interact with others. and the more he spends time with others, the more familiar everything becomes. the hostility and malice slowly melts when he actually realizes that teaching again, or trying to get a genuine laugh out of someone feels... good?

sharing his knowledge with the pink robot kid who soaks up all of it like a sponge and always wants to learn more, or teaching the self-taught wizard hat twerp some more complicated magics, or organizing a show that doesnt require tormenting people, instead providing them with actual fun times is a surprisingly nice change

and it only gets worse when the inevitable soft spot starts forming. oh the horrors, disgusting. all of this is temporary while they work towards a common goal. he cant have a funny feeling in his chest when children let out a genuine laugh, or when the little wizard gleefully manages to cast a difficult spell they both have been working on. unacceptable, stomp that feeling down into the ground and bury it

i wont say he mellows out that much though, i dont want for him to lose what makes him a fun character. plus itd just erase not only what he has done, but also what he experienced. i dont want it to be a total redemption and change of character, but at the same time... i just like the stories where villains/antagonists have to work with the protagonists for one reason or another, becoming begrudging allies and starting to actually bond (megamind or coach oleander and loboto, not to mention earlier ice king or dr nefarious and many other cases)

also, in case anyone wondered if it also includes the other beasts...

Do you know if there's any photos or videos or anything with Matt and Trey hugging each other?

I wish I could say I know of recorded hugs, but unfortunately Matt and Trey don't appear to be very huggy with each other, at least in public. It's more likely they'll hold hands (usually for photoshoots or during curtain calls), or put an arm around each other.

They do like putting their heads on each other's shoulders 😍

(I'm very 'look how they massacred my boy' about the awful photoshopping job they did on Trey in that last one, but I can appreciate the pose at least.)

There were a selection of old slides posted to eBay a few years ago that had some extremely tiny and pixelated pics of drunk hugs from the same night these were taken.

Here's a post by @cock-tail-party with the best of the bunch. Somewhere out there, a very rich person is sitting on some of the greatest M&T pics ever.

There is of course the Coop and Remer hug from BASEktball's Canned Ham, but it's in character, so it doesn't count imo.

Another that doesn't count is the air hug from the concert. But it's always nice to see it 😉

The lack of hugging became a meme in 2022 Matt & Trey fandom. This post by @behind-the-blow pretty much sums it up, lol. Most of the silliness was inspired by this post where it was pointed out that Trey looked like he wanted to hug Matt several times while celebrating their Empire Award win, but he doesn't get one. (Matt, please just hug the guy at this point! He's sung a whole song about wanting hugs, come on.)

We got desperate in our hunt for hugs and maybe counted this one from For Goodness Sake II, where Trey dives across a table and into Matt's lap, just before the table collapses.

If you're interested, there's lots of fanart out there that fills the hug-shaped void. Fair warning that a lot of it is shippy, so ignore the bullet points if RPF isn't your jam.

My check was very small and couldn't even cover everything we needed, we sacrificed getting groceries to stay on top of our payments and we have very little in ways of food, some rice and canned items but that's it

We haven't been able to afford groceries for a month now and we've been relying on one take out meal a day recently which is not at all sustainable, we really need to meet a goal of $250 to fill our fridge and pantry and make sure we are fed

I don't get paid til next week and I'm tired of wondering where and when our next meal is going to come from, this is time sensitive and needs to be met TODAY if possible!

How do you think Roose is going to go out in Winds, will he be killed by Ramsay like in the show (in a very different style, obviously) or is it something a bit unexpected?

Not fond of it being similar to the show version because it implies he's not gonna get a lot of screentime in tWoW; it's also kind of a cheap way to give him "karma" for killing robb by just reversing the roles and having roose be at the receiving end of a murderous betrayal. Note also that Theon is absent from this storyline now (since he escaped), and i'd assume Roose as an important tertiary character would have at least one more big chapter in tWoW, so he probably escapes the Winterfell situation alive at the very least until another PoV crosses his path (Asha?).

If Stannis takes Winterfell, i'd assume Roose would be a prisoner for the moment, maybe saved for a Stark to judge over as a show of goodwill; and whatever "northern conspiracy" payoff there is would probably mean that the northmen distance themselves from him as much as possible and make him the fall guy for the entire red wedding + fallout events (which are mostly his fault anyways). Barbrey as a character likely has been added to the story in aDwD to give a bit of diversity to the northern politics, as someone who is not a stark loyalist and has some closer feelings towards roose but also isnt guilty of the red wedding. I think her role might be that she is a bit of a thorn in the otherwise likely clean consensus on what to do with the Bolton problem and she might argue somewhat in Roose' favour politically (maybe arguing against him being executed or otherwise buying him some time).

And the best sword is the one that cuts both ways, he might tell you. Take the Battle of Green Fork. Had his night march taken Lord Tywin unawares and won the battle, he would have smashed the Lannisters and become the hero of the hour. While if it failed... well, you see what happened. The only way he could lose there would be if were captured or slain himself, and he did his best to minimize the chances of that. - GRRM, SSM Feb 3 2001

Roose' storyline so far has been about how he tries to maximize his profits, while also keeping out of harms way and not getting caught. He acts in ways that are morally reprehensive as long as the result is favourable to him and he can get away with it scot free. Yet come aDwD, we start to see that it is getting harder and harder for him to keep this up:

Roose Bolton said nothing at all. But Theon Greyjoy saw a look in his pale eyes that he had never seen before—an uneasiness, even a hint of fear. - a Ghost in Winterfell, aDwD

Ned Stark tried his best to act like a decent person and showed a spine acting openly as such, and after a lifetime of integrity his legacy lives on in his children and people are willing to go to war in his memory. Roose is his foil; he acts morally badly, and spinelessly so as he tries to avoid consequences - so likely as an inversion to Ned his house will go to ruin and the consequences of his actions catch up to him as his modus operandi made him liked by few. So i'd personally find it interesting if he has a fair trial and gets judged the way he deserves, with no way for him to weasel himself out of it again.

My dream tWoW direction would be that he then gets sent to the wall (which also was Ned's initial sentence, another foil moment) and becomes the epilogue PoV and faces an Other - it would be a cool way to hand off the torch from the last big human villain of the wot5k storyline to the center antagonistic force of the war for the dawn storyline (it would also complete the set of Red Wedding architects being epilogue PoVs as the first epilogue in aSoS was a Frey, and the second in aDwD a Lannister). It would also really showcase how inhuman and alien the Others are by taking the coldest and "least humane" human character that everyone jokes is a vampire, and showing that in contrast to them he still is one of us by giving us a view inside his brain and his very human reaction to them.

uhh oh!!! unexpected hospital stay 🤪

last night i fell flat on my stomach tripping over absolutely nothing, so i went in to get checked. everything looks fine aside from a scraped hand and knee but they kept me for overnight monitoring just in case. this, of course, happened while jose is out of town, so ngl chat it was a rough time!!! baby spent the entire night gettin funky, blissfully unaware of her mom's moment of lonely mortal terror.

I've never had the nuts to ask but idk how much this stay will cost and I'll be officially without an income in two weeks. anything you could throw my way would be so appreciated. 💛
