i mean my biggest problem with Tommy is that he should be a legitimately interesting character in his own right and not , but so much of it is tell-don't-show, like, we're told second hand through Buck that he's interesting and a geek (strong opinions on the Star Wars prequels) but whenever he's actually present he's just like, nice enough but kind of bland guy who likes Buck and flies helicopters (and likes MMA I guess), and we know that he hangs out with Hen and Chim and Eddie without Buck around but the latter was basically just used as part of the bait-and-switch and we haven't actually seen him without Buck in the present day, ever. Like it's not enough to be told that this man has an interesting personality and relationships with main characters who are not Buck, I would like to See Them or he'll still just feel like a love interest.
i mean he is a love interest, i don't think it's the end of the world he feels that way after only a few episodes.
however, i don't agree we've not seen any of his personality, yeah we get a lot of info from buck's pov (which imo makes sense given how the episode is structured), but we aren't just told he's cool and charming either, we see him whisk eddie off in a chopper, because he scored ringside seats in vegas, and not many people could turn evan "i'm an ally" buckley's nervous rambling around into flirting.
in 7.06, one really important thing we see is that he's someone who will stick to his word and show up. Yeah he has to leave the party, but he makes it to the wedding, even though he's covered in soot and probably exhausted, and you couldn't really blame him for going home.

-- I absolutely love Hush's introductory video. The sound design and overall ambiguity surrounding his character at that point was so absolutely intriguing on its first release, and I still listen to it regularly.
I never was able to get into Asher, unfortunately. I know that there's probably so much more to his story, but it's just never clicked with me.
I would completely and absolutely love to befriend Huxley. I am a total Plant Slut, and I have (quite frankly) a concerning amount of house plants. Having someone who is not only Chill as Fuck to hang with, but could also help with the plants? That is a friendship that I need.

-- Just solely by the volume of it that I watch, I could probably recall any given episode of Dimension 20. I watch it while crocheting, and so when I'm just chilling and have time on my hands, dice time it goes. I could probably name every insane Nat 20 Ally made in FH:FY and every intimidating Evan Kelmp line in Misfits + Magic.

-- My go-to way to fall asleep is, unfortunately, staying awake until I physically cannot keep my eyes open any longer. When I do get sleepy, I talk about stationary. It's something I've been into for a long time, and when I simply do not have the filter to not talk about my interests, I unleash everything about pens and notebooks that I know on the poor soul who is near me.
I'm a type 5 on the Enneagram and am currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics. Ideally, I want to go to grad school. I just really, really, fucking love maths. It is the best subject.
Gas Station. I normally do a water, a monster zero ultra, and kettle-cooked salt and vinegar chips.

So this one was both so fun but so hard. You’re so interesting, you’ve got so much going on- a typical Type Five. Not to make you sound like a Manic Pixie Dream Boy but god, James could use you in his life.
By that, I mean Type Five’s are characterized as thoughtful, unique free-thinkers prone to philosophy and complexity. I think James respects and admires these qualities in you in addition to your pursuit of higher education. (I don’t think he knows a ton about math, but I do think he likes to hear you talk about it.) Complementing that, he loves the more unexpected, chaotic parts of you. Like, can you imagine listening to your thoughts and the cognitive dissonance of theorems versus Riz going up a corn monster’s butt? You keep him on his toes in the best way.
Another reason James strikes me as a good match for you is how easy, I think, it’ll be for him to take you with him to ETS. He could listen to Dimension 20 when he misses you, deeply confusing his coworkers who can’t picture him as a DnD guy. Like, I don’t think you would have had time to crochet him a blanket before he left, but maybe he’s got gloves, a scarf, socks, something you made for him that he can touch. Also, can’t you imagine sending him on his work trip with a little plant? The bonding opportunities for James and Anton to take care of their plants and miss their lovers write themselves!

Anton is obviously a runner-up; like, he came to mind first. However, James strikes me as more interesting and therefore a better match for someone as interesting as you. Lasko is another runner-up because I think y’all would really share interests and hobbies. If I were doing platonic match-ups, he’d have been at the top of list.

Debuted in Halo: Glasslands
Born May 29th, 2485, he served as an interpreter of several human lanugages and reached the rank of Field Master before his resignation from the Covenant military. Even after the Covenant's end, he still held faith towards the Forerunners being gods and considered Arbiter Thel 'Vadam an "indfidel" for saying otherwise. Now leading the Servants of the Abiding Truth - an ancient order of monks that predate the Covenant - 'Telcam sought to incite insurrection against the Arbiter, going so far as to ally with ONI. His terms were that humanity cease to "blaspheme" the divinity of the Foreruners and stop involving themselves in Sangheili affairs once the Servants took over, although even after ONI agreed he still questioned what their true plan was. Still, he began meeting with them on New Llanelli for weapon shipments. Later, Jul and Forze 'Mdama would seek his audience, leading him to launch a plan with them and Buran 'Utaral to retrieve 'Utaral's ship from the shipyard and hide it close to Mdama state. Meanwhile, unbenknowst to him, Kilo-Five - the same ONI team he was conducting meetings with - sabotaged a plan he had with the ship Piety and stole a Huragok from him. They were able to convince him it was Kig-Yar pirates responsible and an angered 'Telcam wrongfully set his vengeful sights on Venezia as a result. Then, at another meeting on New Llanelli, Jul 'Mdama would be captured by Spartan Naomi-010 - having followed 'Telcam there under suspicions of who he was getting weapons from. After this, 'Telcam would meet with Professor Evan Philips - one of his ONI contacts - on Sanghelios, being unaware that one of Philips' secret objectives on the planet was to gather intelligencer on his temple.
Suddenly, Jiralhanae terrorists would launch an attack, causing 'Telcam to aid in killing them. This sudden attack made 'Telcam decide to begin his own attack on Vadam state earlier than originally planned. He led the assult from Unflinching Resolve, where Jul 'Mdama's wife - Raia - joined him, searching for her lost husband. His religious fervor soon became a hindrance to his own plans, as he sought to avoid damaging any Forerunner relics in the area. As the assault continued, Unflinching Resolve became damaged and 'Telcam ignored warnings that it needed to retreat, causing it to be shot down. Crash-landing on the Vadam shoreline, 'Telcam would led the survivors to join the rest of the attacking force on the coast to avoid capture. It was then that 'Telcam gained more allies, as the news that the Arbiter was allowing humans to help fight off 'Telcam made some keeps previously indecisive in the civil war choose to side with 'Telcam. However, this was still not enough, as the UNSC Infinity arrived and began destroying several ships. Still holding value to ONI, he was abducted by Kilo-Five to ensure his survival, being taken away by them in Port Stanley. At the same time, the AI onboard took the cover of a Kig-Yar shipmistress, so that no one involved would realize it was ONI aiding in destroying some of the Arbiter's ships. This even fooled 'Telcam, who asked of Sav Fel, an actual pirate that actually stole from him a different ship, the Pious Inquisitor. Finally, when most of 'Telcam's forces were defeated, Port Stanley would retreat and drop 'Telcam off at New Llanelli.
Now lacking in ships following the failed attack, 'Telcam would put out a reward for Pious Inquisitor's return. Shipmistress Chol Von would seemingly take up the offer, only to plan to double-cross him and take the ship for herself. However, ultimately a scuffle between herself, Kilo-Five, and human Insurrectionists would cause the ship to be destroyed. Meanwhile, 'Telcam established a new base on New Llanelli. Some time later, he met once again with Kilo-Five, exchanging information with them. Feeling responsible for the death of Raia and Jul's disappearance, 'Telcam would take on their eldest son Dural 'Mdama as an apprentice, who would go on to become a leading member of the Servants and work directly under 'Telcam. 
When Jul reappeared to establish a new Covenant, the Servants would refuse to join up, continuing their own operations. By Janurary 21, 2558, ONI would decide 'Telcam was no longer useful to them alive. They would send SPARTAN-G059 to assassinate him on New Llanelli. After going through his forces, the Spartan would fight 'Telcam on directly. The end of the struggle would come from a single pistol shot to the head. 'Telcams final word was the iconic: "Wort."

Debuted in Halo 5: Guardians (Mission Intel)
A medic within the Swords of Sanghelios. A log detailing his thoughts regarding the old Sangheili tradition of seeing medical aid as dishonorable was found by Fireteam Osiris within the Arbiter's camp. "If shame is the price of compassion, so be it."
Additional commentary: For the longest time I thought him and the medic NPC that goes on about fighting Death every day were the same guy. Honestly will probably still headcanon it, but couldn't add it to the description in good conscious since I couldn't find proof when I looked.

After Apache Stronghold and other Indigenous land defenders held demonstrations in Phoenix and argued in court on 3 February 2021 to request a halt to the land transfer, the judge said that a final court ruling will be made by 12 February 2021. As of now, the US Forest Service is scheduled to transfer ownership of the sacred site before 16 March 2021. Final days to prevent Rio Tinto’s takeover of sacred site Chi’chil Bildagoteel, where the mining giant plans to create a 3-kilometer-wide and 300-meter-deep sinkhole crater to extract 120,000 tonnes of copper and debris each day.

The Chi’chil Bildagoteel site (also known as Oak Flat) is located near Superior (Arizona) and is sacred to local Indigenous communities, including San Carlos Apache Tribe, Tonto Apache Tribe, and Yavapai-Prescott Indian Tribe, among others. The dramatic geology and oak groves of Chi’chil Bildagoteel have been the site of religious practice and coming-of-age ceremonies for centuries/millennia.
In 1955, the Eisenhower administration mandated that Oak Flat would be closed to future mining. But in 2014, Arizona senator John McCain quietly attached “a fine-print rider to a must-pass [federal] military spending bill” which promised that the US Forest Service would transfer “ownership” of the sacred site to one of the largest major international mining giants on the planet:
Rio Tinto (the company which was lambasted in international media in 2020 for its destruction of 46,000-year-old sacred Aboriginal sites in Australia).
The US government says that the area contains one of the largest copper deposits in the world, and Rio Tinto’s subsidiary Resolution Copper now plans to extract 120,000 tonnes of material each day from Oak Flat, for a total of 1.6 billion metric tonnes. Since the company will use the block-caving technique for the mine, the Forest Service says that Oak Flat will be at the center of a collapsed crater 300 meters deep and 2.8 kilometers wide.
The Forest Service was to complete an “environmental review”; upon publishing of the review, the US government was then obligated to give the land to Rio Tinto within 60 days. Indigenous land defenders had expected that the review was to be published perhaps in December 2021, but in autumn 2020 they discovered that the Trump administration had moved the review process up to December 2020. Thus, the transfer of the sacred site to the mining company was scheduled to take place on 15 January 2021.
However, land defender group Apache Stronghold launched a lawsuit against the US on 12 January 2021. Then, the Inter Tribal Association of Arizona launched a lawsuit on 22 January.

On 2 February 2021, Apache Stronghold and other land defenders held a candlelight vigil and prayer ceremony near the federal courthouse in Phoenix.
On 3 February 2021, Apache Stronghold and their allies attended court, asking for an injunction to prevent the transfer from happening.
According to a local news report (Sarah Oven. “Apache make emotional appeal to court to halt proposed copper mine”. KOLD. 4 February 2021): The government said the lawsuit’s claims are based on the Apache tribe’s control of the land, but that Apache Stronghold members are representing themselves, not the tribe, so they cannot press the claim. As for the argument that the mine would infringe on their religious rights, the government’s filing said the changes to Oak Flat would not create the “substantial burden” the law requires. It is not enough to claim “an alleged effect on an individual’s subjective, emotional experience, or claimed ‘diminishment of spiritual fulfillment – serious though it may be.’”

The US government argued in their filings (3 February 2021) that the Apache Stronghold lawsuit “has no likelihood of success on the merits, and because the public interest favors allowing the land transfer to go forward.”
The judge said that a final ruling will be issued before 12 February 2021. If the ruling is not in Apache Stronghold’s favor, the Forest Service has already set in motion the land transfer.
On 23 January, the Forest Service released the final environmental impact report. A 45-day public comment period is in effect, and courts have said that the land transfer cannot happen before March 11.
Legally, the Forest Service must still give the land to the mining company before 16 March 2021.

- you can give him absolutely any name you want to give him, but if you don't wanna put that effort in, you can just call him evan. but he's absolutely open to any name you give him (unless they're slurs then... yknow. of course not)
- the markings on his face has always been there even on his green life, i just couldn't draw it in his regular profile due to the angle of his face.
- the markings on his thumb is the same of both hands while the ones on his index finger (as shown in pic) is also on the other 8 fingers. nothing special about them, he just likes to have them. same goes with all his accessories and jewelry, he just likes to have them. do they make him look ostentatious? yes. does he care? absolutely not.
- yes, he will go shirtless on his red life. it's purely impractical but he will absolutely do them for no reason other than he wants to. (he will still wear armor while fighting, he's not that big of a doofus) (or he will just wear the turtleneck crop top. either way the shirt still comes off)
- they have a pocket watch somewhere on their person. but they'll only look at it when they're alone. yes, it's his prized possession and will not tolerate anyone who steals it or uses it against him.
- the gems on his horn accessories and earrings are his life indicator. on yellow life, they'll all turn yellow but everything else about him will remain pretty much the same.
- i haven't rlly thought about his deaths but he's most likely to die while caving, or in the nether, or during pvp. in last life, he might be dealt 3 lives, and would not think to ask anybody for more.
- has a bit of a temper. he does try to control it however, but more often than not he is very easily riled up. he is also easily excitable.
- despite his appearance, the man is actually just a bit reclusive. he'll definitely be open to talk to people and maybe just be a bit nosy with any interesting business, but aside from that, he's a very reserved and secretive person.
- impulsive and reckless. very no thoughts head empty. but if the situation calls for it, he can be tactical to a certain degree. he's more to spontaneity and improvising.
- tells lies whenever he feels like it. there's a strange thrill to it, even if it's unbelievable or not. do not trust him to pass on any information to other people.
- has a huge soft spot for animals, namely cats, pandas, foxes and frogs. if he hears you have killed any of them even once, he will personally hold a grudge against you.
- will try to set up a hidden underground bunker far from his visible base, but will most likely either forget its location or its existence entirely unless he respawns there.
- if you suddenly hear singing while caving or in a forest, that's most likely him. he sings a lot whenever he's alone while gathering resources.
- will be open to join any alliance if offered. though he will mostly keep to himself and can be inattentive, he will lend aid to his allies whenever he can. and rest assured he will not betray his allies, nor will he take so lightly to betrayal. but will he die for them? ...who knows. but he may join an alliance if for nothing more than slightly higher survival skills.
- on his red life, he easily succumbs to the bloodlust. of course he isn't the type to attack anyone on sight, but he will gladly join the other reds in hounding the other players as a pack. however, if he joined an alliance before that, he will not go after anyone from his alliance (except if he dislikes them then it's fair game but only for them), and he won't betray his fellow reds even under the deal of being given a life.

Historically accurate Hamilton
Hamilton faces a lot of criticism because of its historical inaccuracies, but people seem to forget that it isn’t supposed to be completely accurate. It’s historical fiction, and many details were tweaked to make the musical run more smoothly, make more sense, and generally be easier for an audience to follow. To emphasise my point, I rewrote some of Hamilton to show what it might have been like if it was completely historically accurate (or, parts of it. I’m not rewriting an entire musical).
NB: I am by no means a historical expert. The following is meant for comedy purposes only

One last visit to Rowle's—and Flora's—saga with the Carrow siblings, written as my entry for the Death Eater 2022 Fest. Set primarily after this oneshot and this story.

Summary: Thorfinn's made the same promise twice over already…and he'll make it again, if it means new ally Flora will be instrumental in getting his love and his best mate back. Ch2: Thorfinn swears his second oath to Alecto, as they navigate life amidst Dark company during the first war.
      Nearly a year later, that blood oath with Amycus seems like such a silly thing in the face of joining the Death Eaters alongside Alecto.
      Their first year out of Hogwarts is going grandly. The boys followed Crouch to the Lestrange home in late July and ended wrapped up in Alecto's initiation assignment, despite her best efforts to shoo Thorfinn and Amycus away from the den of murderers and scoundrels.
      And now, one specific murder later, they're amongst likeminded folk.
      …sometimes the notion gives Thorfinn pause. His parents never went on about blood supremacy much, though his grandparents did when he was younger, so he feels a little out of touch when someone whips Bellatrix up into a tizzy or Travers or Nott go off on a tirade about "the way things used to be."
      There are others, half-bloods like himself and the Carrows, who simply yearn for what their names used to be, the influence they used to command. Mulciber and Avery are this type, and they bookend Evan Rosier less as friends and more like lackeys ready to lick Rosier's pureblood boots.
      And then…then there are others, no matter their blood status, with their own plans. Malfoy and the Lestrange brothers sometimes have commentary on the goings-on around here but also know to hold their tongues, as though they've got their own machinations going on in addition to the Dark Lord's plans. As for Wilkes—it's clear as day, the way she skulks about Bellatrix and Rodolphus' home when not laughing at Mulciber or Avery. For Wilkes, the Death Eaters are an escape from something far worse.
      Thorfinn knows, because that's the case for Alecto and Amycus. And his eyes land on Alecto on the ground floor as they pass each other by, Thorfinn musing how much she'd hate to be compared to her fellow witch, especially where it hurts.
      His look must convey too much, because Alecto does a double-take and backtracks to stalk towards him. "Rowle, if you're going to act as an inanimate object, then do it somewhere you won't take up so much space," Alecto spits. She grabs his arm to turn him towards the next room. "Least of all by the front door."
      "I've got watch duty," he points out. Technically, he's where he's supposed to be, standing across from the ornately carved, black-lacquered door. (He's not a fan of watch duty, of course. It's a strong reminder of the emphatically rich legacy of the Black and Lestrange lines.)
      But Alecto, though she's as freshly official as are he and Amycus, has been running with this group for a couple years now and acts as though she's higher up the ranks regardless. She spies a fresh recruit (really, someone ought to give Mulciber another task than picking up any old riffraff who can wave a wand) and snaps her fingers at the dark-haired wizard. "You! You're on door duty."
      He gapes at them and stammers. He points to himself and then the door, literally shaking in fright at the prospect.
      Alecto glowers at him. "For the moment," she clarifies. And then she drags Thorfinn from the wide-open vestibule and into the small sitting room off to the right. Thankfully, it's empty at midday.
      (Dark deeds are best plotted and executed at night.)
      Alecto yanks the door shut behind them, catching herself before the wood slams into the frame and letting the latch click softly. Then she whirls on him, and Thorfinn would shrink back from her temper if Alecto truly were upset with him.
      But she's hardened in some ways, being here. And in others…being here, with Amycus and Thorfinn by her side, it's changed her. Perhaps not for the better, since he can glimpse the concern in her stare.
      "You can't just stand by the door, moping around, Rowle," she hisses in undertones. Alecto takes two small stomps towards him.
      Thorfinn's shoulders sag. He glances behind him and finds a high-backed chair to lean against. "I'm not moping," he retorts.
      "Don't get defensive now."
      He purses his lips at her, the closest he comes to glaring at her these days.
      Alecto sneers, making Thorfinn's heart twinge (it's the only smile he needs in his life). She closes the gap between them, with either of his legs beside her hips, and she rests her hands on his arms. "Rowle," she intones, "we're both aware you don't hate my bossy side." A smidgeon of tiredness leaks into her tone; her right hand strokes his left arm, absentmindedly. "I never do anything without purpose. And when I tell you to watch yourself, I mean it."
      Thorfinn frowns. He leans forward and, when she doesn't shy away, presses a soft kiss against her hairline.
      Perhaps he imagines Alecto leaning in to the gesture. A moment later, his stout witch stands a little straighter, having pulled back slightly from him. "You've got to keep your heart in check around here," she reminds him.
      "Must I? The first night Amycus and I arrived, I thought we made it clear to the others, what you and I have. Wilkes still scowls at me for you kicking her out of that shared room so you and I could get reacquainted."
      Alecto snorts at the memory. "She prefers her new broom closet; she's finally got a room all to herself. But that's not what I mean, Rowle." She takes a step back and lightly flicks his forehead. "It's your thoughts, as well. There are Legilimens amongst these ranks." She tenses, and Thorfinn flashes back to years ago, to a walk they shared in Hogwarts' dungeons, when Alecto first spoke of a future split from her brother, from Rowle. "If anyone catches the tiniest glimmer that you do not belong…" She closes her eyes and shakes her head.
      No. He doesn't want to imagine the selection of outcomes, either. "Message received," Thorfinn mumbles.
      That's all she needs to hear. She rewards him with a hearty snog, and suddenly this ancient and most noble house of Lestrange and Black around them melts away, seems rather inconsequential so long as Alecto accepts Thorfinn in her life and Thorfinn has Alecto in his arms.
      Practicing Dark magic with Amycus last year—
      Putting what they learned to use and then some the past month and a half as their reunited trio shadows the more experienced Death Eaters and insists the Carrows and Thorfinn partake more often—
      It's worth it. Thorfinn can't figure if his ideologies align fully with the Dark Lord's yet, but every crime committed is worth it, so long as his world has Alecto and Amycus in it.
      And yet it's easy to think such things when the Death Eaters are winning or the only losses primarily are unfamiliar, not-Marked recruits. It's easy to think that they're only play-acting in some deadly production with the Aurors and this newfangled Order of the Phoenix until they take some serious hits in the weeks that follow.
      Perhaps the Death Eaters have been complacent, believing victory will always be theirs, that this string of clashes, these little battles, would never amount to much of a war, even though Alecto told Thorfinn and Amycus shortly after they joined that this group has been around in some form for decades. And such a group with such a long history can't be defeated so easily, can it? After all, this summer alone, the McKinnons were taken care of (mainly Travers' work), Avery Blasted the Order's beloved Benjy Fenwick to pieces rather literally, and the Prewett twins… …well, Thorfinn's memories of those two are fresh, given that Dolohov and Rabastan brought him and the Carrows along (they are young and new but powerful and handy with certain spells, a notion which makes Dolohov irritable and Rabastan deliberate for an extra half a beat when choosing those he brings out on assignment with him now).
      But September closes out, and Wilkes is captured when returning from assignment. Word comes in: She fought like hell, both trying to avoid being dragged to Azkaban and trying to take at least one Auror with her.
      When Lucius Malfoy finishes his summation of the information he gathered from inside the Ministry, his gray eyes go around the long table in Bellatrix and Rodolphus' dining room. They stop on the Dark Lord, hidden in the shadows at the head of the table. "…Wilkes is dead, milord," Malfoy states, his usually prim tone flat.
      The room falls into silence. Thorfinn wants to check Alecto's reaction—is she happy? Mad? She never got along with Wilkes, but there's something to be said for sharing anything for a time with another person. Not to mention Thorfinn can count on one hand the number of Death Eater witches in this dining room-turned-conference hall.
      "We have suffered a loss," the Dark Lord states, his voice eerie, like the rasp from a man not quite like them, like…something else. "But this changes nothing. We will carry on as planned." Without waiting for reaction, he stands, red eyes flashing, and he glides out of the room with barely a sound.
      But behind him the Death Eaters come back to life. Some of them could care less, same as their master. Malfoy stays to have a word with his sister-in-law, and of course Rodolphus lingers with them. Rosier shoves out of his chair with an unusual display of temper and hurries from the room, Mulciber after him, Avery pulling up the rear.
      Amycus stands with a frown and a yawn, and he looks between his sister and friend. "I never knew what to think of her…," he remarks. He jerks his head towards the upstairs. "I didn't sleep too well last night, and Rabastan said he has a task he could use Crouch and me for, so…"
      Alecto and Thorfinn get to their feet, as well, and the trio exits the dining room. "Don't oversleep," Alecto warns her brother.
      He huffs, exchanges a "Do you see what I put up with?" look with Thorfinn, and disappears upstairs for the room the three of them share.
      A room Alecto and Wilkes shared, for a time.
      Thorfinn turns Alecto towards him. "Malfoy's news—"
      "—is just news. You heard what the Dark Lord said," Alecto says. But her tone is too curt, and she shrugs off his hand so obviously. Alecto's not going to talk about Wilkes, not now and not ever.
      Barely a week into October, Mulciber and Rosier head out—and Rosier does not return.
      Bellatrix rolls her eyes while Mulciber, tears streaking down his face, eyes red, teeth gnashing, kicks at the cabinets and the few pieces of furniture in the foyer. He kicks and punches and whirls on those around him, but Avery catches the back of his robes to keep him from doing anything incredibly stupid.
      "That ugly bastard, Moody, was waiting for us! How he found out about that house, I don't know, but Evan—" His voice catches, and he starts kicking and punching wood and fabric again to hide his weakness.
      "I will remind you that my own mother is a Rosier, Mulciber," Bellatrix says from the mouth of the black marble hall that leads to the dining room. "He stands a fighting chance…unlike those who come running back with their tails between their legs."
      Thorfinn sits on the staircase with Alecto (Amycus is having another of his tired spells, but he assures the pair of them that it's not his childhood frailty returning, he's honestly just exhausted), and the pair watches in amazement as Bellatrix's words, sharper than her nails, prick Mulciber's balloon of anger. The wizard doesn't so much deflate as does he fall to the floor in tatters, confronted with his cowardice.
      "There's nothing else to see here," Bellatrix snarls to the rest of them. It's a fine impetus to scatter and leave Avery to be the sensible one for once and pull Mulciber together.
      And pull he must when the news arrives a few days later: Evan Rosier gave chase, but he was pursued relentlessly by Auror Alastor Moody. Though the Auror Office discovered by chance that property which the Rosiers hadn't claimed on official documents, Rosier never led Moody to anything or anyone else of importance. And he died while resisting arrest.
      Two of them. Dead. In barely more than a week.
      Wilkes.
      Rosier.
      Anyone could be next.
      Alecto shares her thoughts this time with Thorfinn, though it feels as though there's not much to share since they're thinking the same things. She waits to open her mouth until they've walked the perimeter of the Lestrange home and can rest against a back corner of the stonework. "…they caught Rosier," she mutters.
      Thorfinn nods.
      "They killed him." She shivers involuntarily. But it's not the early autumn chill getting to her. Her black robes cover her well and keep Alecto warm.
      Still, Thorfinn wraps an arm around her shoulders; Alecto is so tiny, compared to him, that she fits well in the crook of his arm. He peeks down at her. "They did it to him and to Wilkes and to others. They…" He pauses to lick his lips and swallow the lump in his throat. "There could be others, Alecto."
      Acknowledging aloud the reality of what they've signed up for doesn't help much. Yet Alecto turns in towards his chest, and there's fire in her eyes. "They're no different from what I've faced before. Those who think they're better, who think their version of the world is better, without stopping to understand the horrors some of us go through…"
      He wants to say, "They're not Petronelle," but the comparison is moot and, really, what the Order does is rather worse, isn't it? (But he can't bring himself to say that, not to Alecto, never.)
      "These Aurors and Order vermin—they're not going to stop and listen to our side of things."
      Thorfinn cocks his head to one side. "No, I don't doubt that."
      "But here, Rowle… Here is—comfortable."
      He notes the pause in her words. Alecto avoids the use of the word "home" ever since they left Petronelle and the Carrow home behind them. But if she can say "comfortable" in a tone content like this, then Thorfinn will take it. So he nods.
      "I need you to make me a promise."
      "I've done that before. I can do it again."
      "Not like this."
      In a rare instance, Thorfinn is the one to pull away, putting two inches between them when he rests his hands on her shoulders and settles Alecto with a stern look. "Alecto, what…?"
      She glances to either side of them and then tugs Thorfinn by the hand, away from the Lestrange grounds. Without warning, Alecto Disapparates with Thorfinn.
      He's got steady feet for Side-Along, but there are stars to blink from his eyes when he spies their surroundings. After a heartbeat, he calms when he realizes that, no, they're not in his wide-open hometown…but how interesting that Alecto knows of a place so similar. (Does she consider her few visits to the Rowle home fond memories? He wonders.)
      Alecto splays her fingers on Thorfinn's chest, drawing his attention back to her. "I couldn't ask it of you there. But, Rowle—I need a promise that, no matter what happens, you will protect Amycus."
      He starts to chuckle. "As if that needs a promise! I'll protect you both from the worst, Allie."
      "No, Rowle." The fact that she ignores the nickname signals the severity of the situation, and Thorfinn's thrown back to last Halloween with Amycus. She cranes her head up at him. "I know we each accepted the Dark Mark—"
      "And would do it again," he interrupts.
      "—and I don't regret the work we're doing right now." There's a desperate sparkle in her dark eyes, and she nearly smiles for real. "We're making the world right! Right, for us!" Just as quickly, that light vanishes. "But I never factored into my plans a burial for Amycus. Don't make me go through that."
      Thorfinn shakes his head. "Never, Alecto."
      "Will you give me a blood oath, to keep him alive, from harm, if things get worse, Rowle?"
      His face falls.
      Alecto doesn't so much as blink.
      "You knew I'd say 'yes,' didn't you?" He asks not because Alecto can count on this dependable side of him.
      Finally she lowers her eyes, but she's not ashamed, not really; the hard edge of her jaw gives her away. "Amycus told me about before, yes. …thank you, Rowle."
      Thorfinn scowls at the top of her head. He's hurt, of course, and he'd accuse Alecto of using him if only he weren't so accustomed to and comfortable with being her right-hand man.
      (This is magic only Alecto Carrow possesses, and she needn't say a word nor think an incantation to hold sway over Thorfinn Rowle's heart.)
      He grits his teeth, runs his hand through his hair, and picks at his short coif, as if he needs to be presentable for this occasion. "Of course, Alecto," Thorfinn says at last, with something of a huff. He scans the field of tall grass in which they stand, noticing for the first time that they're not far from a brook which snakes behind this village. "I take it Amycus informed you of the spell's details?"
      "He did," Alecto confesses as they head for the brook. She hastens to keep pace with him, since Thorfinn's strides are longer than even Amycus'. She's quiet while he selects a stone from the flowing water. "I wonder why it has to be a stone from moving water, why we can't just use a Slicing Charm."
      "Old magic," he huffs. He grabs a stone half the length of his hand and straightens up with a frown. "At least, that's what I recall from Amycus' lectures. Old magic has old ways. Can't be changed." Though Thorfinn agrees she has a point, especially since he must use a Hardening Spell on a thick stick and treat it like a knife to carve the stone into shape. So many unnecessary steps, like with potions.
      He works faster than last fall, especially because Thorfinn wonders when they'll be missed back at the Lestranges'. Close to ten minutes of silence pass between him and Alecto while he works, and he's both thankful for the respite from talk and relieved to interrupt the quiet when he finishes.
      Thorfinn holds the carved stone out to Alecto. "Do you want the honors?"
      Alecto eyes the item and shakes her head, holding her right hand out instead. "I trust you, Rowle."
      Those words are a balm on the hurt her request has caused him. Thorfinn nods and imagines the lines he cut into his and Amycus' palms last year. This time, he makes his matching mark with Alecto perpendicular to that with Amycus—after all, "X marks the spot," they say—and he holds her hand after.
      Unsurprisingly, Alecto nonverbally invokes the spell. The crimson light from last time doesn't seem so bright in the middle of the day with the sun out. It's almost as if this magic is harmless, as natural as the nature surrounding them.
      Thorfinn knows better this time. Nothing came of his oath with Amycus because they never met any obstacles along their way.
      But—swearing to keep Amycus alive and well, without any regards for Alecto herself?
      Thorfinn wonders if he fights this blood oath's magical rules hard enough, then it might as well be an Unbreakable Vow and kill him.
      (Yet Thorfinn frowns in the aftermath of his oath with Alecto, because this blood oath is not unlike her warning at the Lestrange home. He senses at last that Alecto wonders if Thorfinn's truly meant for a Dark life with her and Amycus. That she doubts his business here, with them.
      He wants to prove her wrong.
      But each day that passes in October feels like a step closer to something larger. No matter that the Death Eaters spread the Order thin. No matter that Edgar Bones is no longer a threat [nor his extended family, since they made an example of him by murdering his wife and children with him, so the rest of the Bones family ought to know better than to get involved]. There are whispers of something larger that the Dark Lord keeps close to his vest and won't divulge even to the likes of Bellatrix, his most loyal follower.
      All is revealed on Halloween, however, when the Dark Lord once more carries out a task on his own…
      …and a mere baby robs the Death Eaters of their leader, their master, and their security.
      In the wake of the Dark Lord's apparent death at the magic of the Potter child, the Death Eaters mostly scatter. Some of them try to continue the Dark Lord's work—the Longbottoms' capture and torture makes the papers shortly afterwards, and wizard [and, to the Death Eaters, known Order member] Caradoc Dearborn is listed as "missing" in The Daily Prophet months after that.
      But Thorfinn, Alecto, and Amycus see this as an unexpected turning point. Their hands are already covered in blood, but there's no real work to continue because there's safety in numbers and the Death Eaters don't have those anymore.
      What's left for them now?
      Alecto, of course, comes up with a plan. "If we keep our heads down, we give the Ministry no need to come looking for us," she tells her wizards as they stick to the shadows and move about cities, mindful both of repulsive Muggles and dogged Aurors and Hit wizards alike.
      She says that plainly, and Thorfinn joins them, because the Carrows long ago accepted him as theirs, as a protector, as a friend—as family, he dares to think.
      So their trio goes into hiding, for a while together, waiting for the tide to shift in their favor, regardless of how long it may take.)
I knew the oath with Alecto wouldn't come immediately but needed a certain trigger, and some canonical deaths actually provided the right impetus here. :O Altho…in the midst of writing this section of the story, I had to do some rereading of the final chapter of alwy and developed some other hcs… (As in, even more inspiration struck, *LOL*.) Reminder: If you're curious about the name "Petronelle," go read at last, with you. ;)

Hi Skippy and Pilgrim, I twice sent in a lengthy post a few days ago on Global Citizen and the Backers but I guess it didn’t make the cut.  
The short version is:  Mark Malloch Brown (anti Brexit and worked for the UN) —> George Soros (Open Societies Foundation and World Forum, pro EU) —> Melinda and Bill Gates (amongst others) —> Global Citizen (founded by Australian Hugh Evans. Prince Charles’ Princes Trust was involved with this crew as are all the usual Hollywood suspects) —> Citizens for Global Change.
Citizens for Global Change (founded in 1947) is the underpinning organisation.  They are World Federalists, pro EU and want the United Nations to be “transformed” with a one world government, enforced international law etc… by “The UN General Assembly establishing a UN Parliamentary Assembly. National executives or party groups would initially send delegates from sitting members of national parliaments – a process similar to that followed in creating the EU Parliament.”
Where the trouble lies is that out of the 196 countries in the world, 193 of them belong to the UN.  It takes some “doing” to convince them all to support the “global world that needs global governance”.  Brexit was of course a major spanner in the works for them.
Citizens for Global Change are also allied with the Black Lives Matter movement.  
Harry’s wife is merely a willing and greedy puppet for these billionaires who support the UN transformation (including how the general secretary is elected).  You will find the origin of her word salads on the Citizens for Global Change website.  Her accusations of racism against the BRF were predictable.

Unnamed Field Marshal:
Debuted in Halo: Reach
A Field Marshal present at the Fall of Reach, he would have a few different encounters with Noble Team during the campaign. The first would be at Visegrad Relay, where the Field Marshal and two of his Zealots would ambush Noble Team as they attempted to get the communications relay back online. Much later in the campaign, at the tailend of the Seige of New Alexandria, the Field Marshal would snipe Catherine-B320 through the head from a nearby Phantom as Noble Team attempted to reach a fallout bunker. Finally, just as the Pillar of Autumn was prepped to leave Reach with Noble Team offering anti-air support, he would kill Emile-A239. His attempts to prevent Noble Six from reaching the mass driver would ultimately result in his demise.
Additional commentary: There's another Field Marshal that helps kill Noble Six in the final cutscene, but I'm pretty sure that's a different one, unless killing the Field Marshal in game isn't canon and he's able to escape.
Avu Med 'Telcam / The Bishop:
Debuted in Halo: Glasslands
Born May 29th, 2485, he served as an interpreter of several human lanugages and reached the rank of Field Master before his resignation from the Covenant military. Even after the Covenant's end, he still held faith towards the Forerunners being gods and considered Arbiter Thel 'Vadam an "indfidel" for saying otherwise. Now leading the Servants of the Abiding Truth - an ancient order of monks that predate the Covenant - 'Telcam sought to incite insurrection against the Arbiter, going so far as to ally with ONI. His terms were that humanity cease to "blaspheme" the divinity of the Foreruners and stop involving themselves in Sangheili affairs once the Servants took over, although even after ONI agreed he still questioned what their true plan was. Still, he began meeting with them on New Llanelli for weapon shipments. Later, Jul and Forze 'Mdama would seek his audience, leading him to launch a plan with them and Buran 'Utaral to retrieve 'Utaral's ship from the shipyard and hide it close to Mdama state. Meanwhile, unbenknowst to him, Kilo-Five - the same ONI team he was conducting meetings with - sabotaged a plan he had with the ship Piety and stole a Huragok from him. They were able to convince him it was Kig-Yar pirates responsible and an angered 'Telcam wrongfully set his vengeful sights on Venezia as a result. Then, at another meeting on New Llanelli, Jul 'Mdama would be captured by Spartan Naomi-010 - having followed 'Telcam there under suspicions of who he was getting weapons from. After this, 'Telcam would meet with Professor Evan Philips - one of his ONI contacts - on Sanghelios, being unaware that one of Philips' secret objectives on the planet was to gather intelligencer on his temple.
Suddenly, Jiralhanae terrorists would launch an attack, causing 'Telcam to aid in killing them. This sudden attack made 'Telcam decide to begin his own attack on Vadam state earlier than originally planned. He led the assult from Unflinching Resolve, where Jul 'Mdama's wife - Raia - joined him, searching for her lost husband. His religious fervor soon became a hindrance to his own plans, as he sought to avoid damaging any Forerunner relics in the area. As the assault continued, Unflinching Resolve became damaged and 'Telcam ignored warnings that it needed to retreat, causing it to be shot down. Crash-landing on the Vadam shoreline, 'Telcam would led the survivors to join the rest of the attacking force on the coast to avoid capture. It was then that 'Telcam gained more allies, as the news that the Arbiter was allowing humans to help fight off 'Telcam made some keeps previously indecisive in the civil war choose to side with 'Telcam. However, this was still not enough, as the UNSC Infinity arrived and began destroying several ships. Still holding value to ONI, he was abducted by Kilo-Five to ensure his survival, being taken away by them in Port Stanley. At the same time, the AI onboard took the cover of a Kig-Yar shipmistress, so that no one involved would realize it was ONI aiding in destroying some of the Arbiter's ships. This even fooled 'Telcam, who asked of Sav Fel, an actual pirate that actually stole from him a different ship, the Pious Inquisitor. Finally, when most of 'Telcam's forces were defeated, Port Stanley would retreat and drop 'Telcam off at New Llanelli.
Now lacking in ships following the failed attack, 'Telcam would put out a reward for Pious Inquisitor's return. Shipmistress Chol Von would seemingly take up the offer, only to plan to double-cross him and take the ship for herself. However, ultimately a scuffle between herself, Kilo-Five, and human Insurrectionists would cause the ship to be destroyed. Meanwhile, 'Telcam established a new base on New Llanelli. Some time later, he met once again with Kilo-Five, exchanging information with them. Feeling responsible for the death of Raia and Jul's disappearance, 'Telcam would take on their eldest son Dural 'Mdama as an apprentice, who would go on to become a leading member of the Servants and work directly under 'Telcam. 
When Jul reappeared to establish a new Covenant, the Servants would refuse to join up, continuing their own operations. By Janurary 21, 2558, ONI would decide 'Telcam was no longer useful to them alive. They would send SPARTAN-G059 to assassinate him on New Llanelli. After going through his forces, the Spartan would fight 'Telcam on directly. The end of the struggle would come from a single pistol shot to the head. 'Telcams final word was the iconic: "Wort."

NON-LIVEPLAY GAMES, MARCH 2163 - ‘Double Trouble’
OBJECTIVE: “DOUBLE TROUBLE” is a LAST TWO STANDING, ‘Hunger Games’ style game and will commence at sunrise. Survivors will begin the game as every individual for themselves, at the edge of the gaming grounds. When the starting horn sounds, survivors may choose to take a chance at The Hoard for weapons and resources, or head straight for the woods. Forming alliances is recommended, but remember, alliances are temporary and can change. 
TEAMS: None. 1 vs. All, Personal Alliances only.
WEAPONS: This game will include ALL COLONY-APPROVED TRAINING WEAPONRY. Players begin the game without arms, but may obtain them at The Hoard or at hidden caches around the gaming grounds.
*HIT LIMIT: 1   *KILL LIMIT: 1
KILL PROTOCOL: SURRENDER; Participants who reach Kill Limit are immediately eliminated and must report back to the games staging area.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND INFO:
⚒The game will commence in a clearing at the edge of the gaming grounds, with the treeline ahead (NE). In the clearing, to the SE, will be The Hoard, a large resource and weapon supply. At the start of play, participants may choose to run for it first, or bypass it and head to safety. 
⚒Personal alliances may consist of 2 to 5 participants from any house. They must never exceed 5 players. Alliances are based on an honour system; there are no official rules against targeting an ally. 
⚒’Sponsor Kits’ can be found hidden throughout the grounds. If an individual receives a hit but has a Sponsor Kit, they may use it to remain in the game. Sponsor Kits are metal cylinders about ten inches long and 3 inches in diameter, and contain a cloth bandage which can be tied at or around the point of the recent hit. Sponsor Kits are one time use only; when the seal is broken, a vial of dye will shatter and soak into the white bandage to indicate its use.
⚒The winning pair may be from the same house, or different houses. Throughout the game, an individual’s achieved kills earn points towards their respective houses, and the winners will get to keep these for their house, plus an extra 250 points.  In the case of winners from two different houses, both houses will receive their respective earned house points, plus 250 for the win. 
⚒All PDD messaging capabilities have been disabled for the Games. They function only to receive notifications.

                                “Bloodbath” - the First Hour
When the horn blares, about half the games participants head straight for the cover of the trees, while the others book it to The Hoard: the huge weapons stash in the clearing. Charlie Essex and JR are among this group. JR gets there first, quickly holstering two handguns, and is about to go for some grenades, when Charlie waves at him with a supply backpack in hand and they both run off. It’s not until they get deeper into the gaming grounds that they realize Charlie’s ‘bag of supplies’ is woefully empty. 
Back at the weapon stash, it’s still pandemonium. Draco Pavlović gives Mei Zhu Fitrei a bloody nose in a scuffle over a sniper gun. Alexander Donovan finds Annie Perrault hyperventilating behind a weapons rack, white knuckling a bow. He shoves a quiver into her hands and tells her to run, watching her back as she nervously complies. Meanwhile, Felix Turner and Rosalind Stein nearly collide going for the same bag of supplies. Rose is confident she can easily overpower Felix, until he starts literally shrieking like a maniacal banshee. His wordless wail makes for such an alarming scene, that she opts just to retreat. 
Underdogs, Constantin Lupei and Adrien Bennett decide they’ll start off the hour strong, and team up to ambush the next pair of people they see… which turn out to be Mei Zhu and Alex. This backfires dramatically, and Costin and Ajay are among the first half dozen players eliminated. Angel Thorne follows suit when he decides to simply walk off the gaming grounds. He is immediately disqualified. 
                                      “All for One…” - Hour 2
Hour two is the time to start forming alliances. Lake Valentine is travelling with Lissy McCall and Annie Perrault, but he dooms them all when he accidentally sets off an InertiaShell. They are all caught in the red vapour and slowed to a crawl. Annie passes out from the effects of the grenade and her usual exhaustion and while trying to wake her, Lissy and Lake become very easy targets when they get attacked by Caelan Whitmer and Arvo Covey. Annie, Lissy and Lake are all eliminated. 
Roy Walters hasn’t come across anyone he trusts to team up with, so resolves to lay low. He manages to steal a Sponsor Kit from Mitch Douglas when the elite isn’t looking, and then camouflages himself into some bushes. Meanwhile, Petra Starr convinces a handgun wielding Teilo Aisling not to shoot her, only to shoot him with his own weapon as soon as he agrees to the alliance. Orson Hurst, Maisie Pace, Mason Quinley and Mira Sigar come together to form an only slightly more promising lineup. 
Rosalind is fashioning an illegal slingshot up in a tree when she spots wifey Josephine Parker and quickly pairs up with her. As for Charlie and JR, despite their slightly disappointing start, they’ve stuck together and take out Emmanuel Trent as their first victim. 
                                          “Acclimating” - Hour 3
Bode Lindqvist has kept to himself but has proven resourceful. He is well armed and has already found a couple of Sponsor Kits. When Koda Payne and Clayton Boyd attack him with ranged weapons, he manages to evade them and escape unscathed. Orson is much less lucky, when he is briefly separated from his group and finds a stash of grenades that apparently Dylan Meir had also had her eye on. Orson grabs a couple tilt grenades, but his nerve-damaged hands spasm, and he drops one, setting it off. With Orson briefly incapacitated by the blue vapour, Dylan has plenty of time to shoot him with an arrow, grab the rest of the grenades, and take off. Nearby, another woman is kicking some nerd-boy ass; Charlotte Williams effortlessly picks off Kip, acquiring his Sponsor Kits. 
Koda and Clay try again to make an impact: they sneak up on JR and Charlie in the woods, only this time, they’ve thought it through and have set up traps in the area. They even manage to take out JR with a well-aimed arrow. Charlie then chases both Koda and Clay, firing his handgun as he goes. He eliminates Koda with a stim in the back, then lets off a wayward shot just as he bulldozes into one of the traps and falls to the ground. The weapon skids across the forest floor, but the last shot has caught Clay in the shoulder. Fortunately, the Delma has a Sponsor kit, which he uses to survive. He doesn’t have to go it on his own too long, however, as he runs into Corbin Ealy, who’s trying to evade a prowling Kaiser Bahr. They hide together (because fuck that noise), then decide to team up. 
Left alone after Kip’s elimination, Arvo stumbles across Enoch Lynch, while he is caught in hand to hand combat with Paxton Semenyuk, and steps in to help. She and Enoch form a new alliance (which we’d like to coin ‘NET’: Newbie Elite Transfers). Alois Van Asch, on the other hand, is a bit slow on the uptake, and has been wandering the grounds somewhat aimlessly, enjoying the (mostly) quiet of the woods. At one point he is spotted just gazing at the sky. 
                             “Imprudent Behaviour” - Hour 4
Fate, never a kind mistress, soon interferes with Bode’s chances. While he is distracted by an unfortunate issue with his hearing aids, Jo and Rosalind steal the weapons he’d set down and make a break for it. As they run, however, they encounter Dante Carrington; true to form, the Good Doctor puts rules first and disqualifies Rosalind for the illegal slingshot in her grasp. This is witnessed by Corbin and Clay, who were drawn in by the kerfuffle. Corbin reckons it would be hilarious to orchestrate an ambush against Colony 22’s biggest Tight Ass, and with Bode still nearby, it’d be like ‘taking biscuits from a baby’. Fortunately, it doesn’t take much convincing, and the three of them take Dante out without any issue. 
Meanwhile, Draco climbs high up into the branches of a tree, seeking a moment to formulate a plan. Aurelia Ferris chooses this particularly inopportune time to walk by, and she doesn’t even see who shot her. Diederick D’Mornay,  the perpetual gentleman, spots Anaya Dolman with a Sponsor Kit and doesn’t have any trouble liberating it from her. Emboldened by his success, he gives chase to a couple of other totally threatening Calysets: Mira and Maisie. In his hasty pursuit, he loses his footing and face-plants on the forest floor. 
Unlike Ricky, Petra Starr has a little moral fortitude. Alois has grown excruciatingly bored of the Games and asks Petra, (who has now paired up with housemate, Dylan) to just shoot him so he can go the fuck back inside and sleep; obviously this wouldn’t be the same as earning an elimination and would basically be cheating, so Petra declines.
After his temporary alliance with Clay and Corbin, Bode decides to roam alone again, which backfires when Madison Vega eliminates him quickly with a sniper. Persephone Evans and her bleeding heart take a moment to tend to a small injury Cambie Andrews has sustained, but they have to run when they spot Clove Modius and Benji Imes approaching.
                                        “Homestretch” - Hour 5
It’s the final countdown and about halfway through the fifth hour, we’re left with eight tiring finalists. Of these eight, seven of them are in two different alliances. The first such alliance is made up of Torren ladies, Ada Woollacott, Petra Starr, Dylan Meir and Charlotte Williams. The second is a group of egomaniac loudmouths: Corbin Ealy, Draco Pavlović and Diederick D’Mornay. Madison Vega is the eighth finalist, currently remaining a one-woman operation. 
Catching a glimpse of Charlotte through the trees, Draco splits off from his group to chase after her, ignoring the protests from his allies. He proves himself rather too big for his boots when he catches up with Charlotte to find her not alone at all, and the team of girls take him out, Charlotte’s Angels style. Nearby and hearing the shouts, Maddie is so caught up watching her back that she steps right into a snare set hours before by Roy. With no one to come to her rescue, it’s endgame for her, too. 
But time is running out, so the Charlie’s Angels gang decide to pair off to cover more ground. Petra finds Ricky vulnerable while he does a damage check from his earlier painful fall, and gets him in the back with a stim, while Charlotte manages to catch Corbin similarly unaware. Just like that, the prideful Delmas are out of the running.  But while Charlotte and Petra were away steamrolling the Delma boys, Ada had immediately turned traitor, submitting Dylan with a pair of chameleons around her neck. 
So naturally, when what’s left of Ada’s allies return, Ada is on the offensive. There can only be two winners, and Ada wants to make sure she’s one of them. Unfortunately for her, feral strength won’t be enough this time; she launches herself at Petra and Charlotte but is overpowered by their exceptional teamwork and clear heads. Moments later, the victory horn sounds: Charlotte and Petra have officially become an unlikely pair of winners. Between Charlotte’s congenital heart defect and Petra’s only recently recovered ankle injury, it is a victory hard-earned and well-deserved.

BACKSTORY;
Ashley Remilia Ashton-Kujo is from the Ashton family bloodline, a bloodline in who is an ally to the Joestars and has been since Jonathan Joestar’s time.
Born and raised in Japan, Ashley Ashton lived with her single mother, Annelise Ashton. Her father, Eron, never wanted anything to do with Ash, despite having been in a relationship with Annelise for a ten years prior to Ashley being born. Ash’s father was secretly unfaithful to Annelise (which resulted in Ash’s older half-sister Carrie). Annelise had (reluctantly) forgiven Eron (as she forgave, but she never forgot), but when Ash came along and Eron officially left the family, Annelise and Ash knew that Eron just didn’t want the responsibility of a child.
Despite not having her dad around, Ash grew up with her mother just fine without a father figure. Ash’s mother is childhood friends with Holy Joestar, so it wasn’t shocking that Ash and Jotaro became childhood friends as well. Along with Jotaro, Ashley became friends with an American transfer student named Joanna. Joanna moved to Japan because of her dad’s job, and since her mother had to stay in America, Joanna went to Japan with her father. Joanna, Ashley, and Jotaro are the same age, as Ash and Jotaro were five years old when they met Joanna. Ashley is also really close to her cousin Anika. Anika was born three years before Ash, and the girls were inseparable. Because of the age gap between the two of them, Ash always looked up to Anika as an older sister she never had. 
At age 12, Ash and Jotaro’s best friend, Joanna, passed away abruptly. Joanna and her father were on their way to a family event when they had gotten into a horrible car crash. Joanna and her father were immediately rushed to hospital for treatment. Joanna’s father managed to make an eventual recovery, but 12 year old Joanna herself was left in a coma. Ash and Jotaro visited their best friend ever day since she went under a coma, and they didn’t leave Joanna’s side at all. Sadly, after a week of being under a coma, Joanna had been pronounced brain dead, and she was taken off of life support. It was a definite struggle for both Jotaro and Ash. Ash became more reserved and more withdrawn. For a long while, years after Joanna’s death, Ash struggled with her mental health. She struggled with depression and anxiety, and she was really struggling. It also didn’t help that had been secretly dealing with bullying. Ash was bullied during her elementary school years, as well her 6th grade year.
Years went by with Ash still struggling with her mental health. Ash, who is a stand user (her stand is called Paramore), decided to aid Jotaro and the others on the trip to Egypt. During the trip to Egypt, Ash and Jotaro’s friendship augmented into something more, and they started a relationship. In August of 1990, at age 20, Jotaro and Ash welcomed their twin daughters. They decided to name one of them Josephina, after Joseph, and the other twin Jocelyn-Joanna, after their best friend Joanna. In 1992, the two had their third daughter Jolyne, and six months later on July 27th, 1992, Ashley Ashton and Jotaro Kujo married. In March of 1993, Ash and Jotaro had their fourth child. A daughter, named Joy Kujo. Ash and Jotaro both went to Morioh in 1999, with Jotaro later getting his doctorate in marine biology and Ashley getting a doctorate in psychology. Ash usually stayed with their daughters, but on some occasions she’ll travel with her husband Jotaro (like when they went to Morioh). Currently, Ashley and Jotaro lives in Florida with their family, as their jobs had taken them to the state (and Ash had extended family in Florida).
