Hi anon, welcome to the fandom and to joe'marr in general! and lol yes i do definitely post about them a lot!

ja'marr does NOT play, i agree! neither of them do about each other i'd say <3. i've described my perception of their dynamic a few times in asks (and! important to remember it's just my perception because we don't actually know any of these men personally) but here goes way too many words about it below the cut 🫡

differences and similarities

to me, they're two good friends who are seemingly very different, but complement each other well, and are actually very similar on the inside! ja'marr is outwardly more extroverted, warmer and friendlier, while joe isn't cold, necessarily, but he seems to take longer to warm up to people in general; he's never friendly just to be friendly ("he'll walk right by you and not smile" per ja'marr), and, despite recent appearances lol, is more of an introvert. (although honestly, ja'marr recently has said he's starting to prefer staying in playing video games and joe has been more out and about! so it seems like they may be rubbing off on each other!) but at their core they're both stubborn, strong, brave and have an edge to them that i think they've recognized in each other since day 1 (all those fights at LSU practices! a love of taunting!)

taking care of each other

they care about each other a tremendous amount and it seems like they are always trying to take care of each other in their own ways. ja'marr with his (maybe???) buying joe clothes and taking him out and wanting him to live his life (he must be thrilled about France Joe), and always defending him in the press (and on twitter lmao). joe always getting in extra throwing sessions with ja'marr (including and most importantly ja'marr's rookie year when he was struggling and they'd stay after practice getting extra work in), always talking up ja'marr's talent and intelligence and work ethic in the press, and he basically guaranteed him a spot on the team during the 2021 draft.

mind reading - good

they've known each other for 6 (SIX!!) years now and according to both of them they "don't need words" to understand each other at this point. which is maybe my FAVORITE thing to analyze about them lmao. because that's definitely obvious on the field. i don't think i really understood how special their on-the-field connection is (despite announcers and coaches and analysts talking about it constantly!) until i finally started understanding how the game actually works (lol i didn't watch football until 2 years ago and started understanding it even later). like, ja'marr's ability to know when to break out of his route, when to improvise when joe needs him to, and joe's ability to know exactly where ja'marr's going to be??? and all of this is happening in SECONDS while people are actively trying to bring them down through any means possible?? that's such an impossible feat and it's one they pull off all the time! and this translates to off the field for them too. one of my favorite clips ever is ja'marr describing how he can tell how joe's feeling just by how he walks in the building, and that joe can do the same for him. "i know him like the back of my hand, he knows me like the back of his" like??? ok boys! that's some soulmate shit actually!

mind reading - bad

BUT on that note, i do think that, ironically, this ability to "read each others' minds" sometimes could lead to miscommunication for them! or at least it could lead to them NOT saying things that maybe they should say out loud. i don't have a lot of concrete examples here (obviously because if they're not saying things to each other they aren't saying them to the press) but there's an interview where ja'marr's talking about his hip injury. and how he "never talked to joe about it" but he "knew in his mind that he'd come back when joe needed him" which ???? what are you talking about ja'marr?? the double mind reading there of a. expecting joe to know that he'll come back when he needs him but also b. expecting himself to know when joe would need him! like! that seems really complicated, you could just, talk to each other? maybe?

ja’marr also said that joe didn’t believe him when he told him that his presence was enough at practice, that joe thought he was joking (i guess it’s not commonplace for ja’marr to come right out and say how important joe is to him and the team! so joe probably wouldn't know what to make of that rare moment of sincerity!)

and i think they aren't talking to each other about contracts (which, fair enough, that's business), but people sure were asking ja'marr about joe's contract anyway (and they're starting to do the same for joe about ja'marr!) and we all remember a lot of ja'marr's comments that came around to bite him lol. and, i have NO proof for this one besides my projections/feelings, but i wonder if joe's worried at all about ja'marr's contract this year. if he's worried that if he doesn't perform, ja'marr won't want to stay. now, ja'marr tells the press (and twitter. and his twitch chat. and his dad.) that he wants to stay with joe, but does joe believe that? has ja'marr ever come out and actually said that to him? or is he expecting joe to just know that?

(oh man i wrote a lot in that section, and i have so little actual evidence, but it's something i love thinking about! i don't want them being too cutesy or perfect tbh. they're flawed! they're men raised in stoic sports culture and honestly i am so sure they suck at communicating. i'm sure they've had misunderstandings. i'm sure they've argued. and that's so important!)

balance

i think another thing i love about their dynamic is that ja'marr is such a good check for joe. if you haven't noticed, joe kind of runs the organization lmao. from day 1 he's been involved in the play calling, drafting, overall culture and philosophy. and that's his right! he is good at all of that! he's The Franchise (worshipped throughout the team, the city, half of the state!) and, in the beginning, i think ja'marr felt that way about joe too. joe led him to a perfect season and a national championship in college and then a super bowl his first year in the league! he himself said, right before the super bowl in 21, "he's like a god to me" which is...just a WILD thing to say about your friend :') like??? the devotion? the loyalty?? okay ja'marr!!

but, then they lose, and ja'marr "coaxes joe out of bed" to go celebrate anyway. he gets to be the one to see joe at his absolute lowest and he's the one to build him back up. and i think that really affected their dynamic from then on, to the point that ja'marr became the only guy to think of joe as an actual human being in the organization. i don't think (until very very recently with zac) that a single person other than ja'marr ever said no to joe (the way joe stayed in that titans game last year despite being hurt, at risk, and losing by so much cemented that for me!) ja'marr was the ONLY ONE to say that joe should sit out as long as he needed to for the calf. the only one not celebrating (in fact, he seemed PISSED) when joe was running around during preseason games despite not being fully healed 😭 the only one saying "come on joe let's go out" instead of just coming to him (and it seems that's finally worked lol) and joe NEEDS that. he needs that desperately! someone who will support him but call him on his shit, someone who sees him as more than just his abilities and wants what's actually best for him!

teasing <3

finally (oh my god this is SO LONG) i really enjoy how playful they are with each other. joe tends to be very Stoic and Serious (not all the time, but it's a tendency) and i think ja'marr is good at bringing him out of that. he's talked about how back at LSU he would joke around with joe and it took him a long time to finally figure out how to make him smile and laugh. and i think that's a skill he's perfected over the years! every mic'ed up between the two of them, we get to hear them tease and mess with each other. "you see that big blue thing over there??" "you couldn't overthrow me and get me in stride?" "my guy you were wide open!" (ja'marr's hands on joe's hips the entire time) "you're looking pretty slow" "be serious" and "he said you underthrew him" "yeah right" and "i ain't gonna lie, you look slow as hell" and "i'll start taking it off for you ja'marr" and "joe swears he's sneaky fast" and "hey man you're so cool!" and on and on and on! i HATE that we've never had a long form interview/podcast with BOTH of them on it because my god i want to know what an actual conversation is like between them. but i think it must be a lot of that. a lot of fond jokes, compliments hidden in teasing; we see them laughing together so often <3 and of course we CAN'T forget the UFC moves they practice on each other :) "we mess around every now and then".

Gonna infodump about my D&D character

(Sadly forced to keep things confidential because my party members follow me on tumblr…you know who you are 👁️👁️)

I’ve only had Gawain for a short time but OH MY GOODNESS I FUCKING ADORE THIS SILLY GUY!!

Also kinda shocked that the moodboard I made for him got that many notes. That’s a first…

So…for what CAN post publicly…

Gawain is your token Lawful Good Paladin TM. Bonus points for being a protector aasimar I guess. (Though I might multiclass into a bard depending on how things go. It would fit him well. They’re my favorite spell caster.)

His personality is gonna be SO fun to play. Before I explain that, I should mention that he’s actually the youngest of the group at 24. The second youngest is the Kobold (Maran) who’s 37. So he’s a lot more naive and still understanding himself and the world around him. People often dismiss him due to that unfortunately. But, you know, imagine a dumb collage age boy and you get somewhat of an idea.

He’s a very sweet and compassionate guy, extremely extroverted and fun loving…maybe a bit flirty at times. Definitely cracks witty comments and one liners in battles ranging from something clever to “suck my dick” or something dumb like that. That doesn’t mean he can’t be serious, he absolutely knows when he should. Ironically he’s the most “normal” of the group, often being the straight man. Overall heart of gold and just wants to help people.

He has a bit of a rebellious and impulsiveness to him. As clever as he is, he’s mostly driven by his emotions. It’s always a “do what feels right in the moment” rather than logic. In general he’s just very emotional and struggles with hyper empathy. This also causes him to question a lot of the authority around him.

I’d also say he has that Disney Princess syndrome. Gawain is convinced that he has some grand destiny and is meant for more. He’s always wanted to explore and learn more about the world, meet new people and cultures, live a life of glory and adventure. Maybe he’s in over his head or maybe he’s not…we’ll see.

However, another big reason for doing all this is that he wants to understand who he is…more accurately WHAT he is. He was born to humans, raised by humans, and grew up in a mostly all human kingdom. So he grew up thinking he was one despite some strong differences between him and the others. Aasimar are VERY rare, and more like myths to most people, and others don’t even know they exist. So people either assumed he was blessed or cursed, some treated him like the messiah, and others thought he was a freak and dangerous. So yeah, he never felt like he belonged and wants to learn about himself.

Somewhere in his life he ended up becoming a squire and completed his training just before the start of the campaign…

And that’s all the backstory information I can post because my friends will see this.

I guess I can do a bit of trivia:

It’s still D&D lore, but the world itself is homebrew. Humans are actually not the majority race, far from it. Most humans live in a large archipelago with various human nations. I remember the DM said the estimated population of humans was 20,000 to 30,000. The two mainland continents are one dominated by dwarves and the other by elves, along with other races being far more common on the mainland. Not really about my character but I LOVE that detail. It’s somewhat relevant I guess since I said Gawain grew up in a human society.

The god he venerates most is Ilmatar.

His eyes reflect his emotions and power. When using any of his abilities or when under intense emotions (both positive and negative), his eyes will turn a solid gold color.

Prior to his training, he was a courier. His parents ran his town’s postal service and that’s one of the things that got him into the idea of adventuring.

He’s more of a cat person than a dog person. He likes both, but I feel like he’d go for the cat.

The first weapon he ever used was a bow rather than a sword. The specific sword he uses is an arming sword.

He is a wonderful singer, his voice is almost ethereal in when he sings (little aasimar headcanon of mine).

His favorite study is anthropology, but also really likes history and geography. He’s always collecting little souvenirs and trinkets from everywhere he visits.

He keeps a diary and loves to write stories and sketch things. A lot of story inspiration comes from his dreams, which are often very vivid…and he remembers them super well.

Neither of his parents have blonde hair, nor is it a recessive trait they had. It’s actually part of his aasimar traits.

He talks in his sleep because I think it’s funny.

If this wasn’t a medieval fantasy world, he’d definitely use Gen Z slang. Maybe even tell someone “L + Ratio” or “Skill issue” after besting them in battle. In that same hypothetical reality, his favorite band would be Starset and The Score.

He takes good care of his appearance and health, so he does enjoy certain beauty products. A spa day is his ideal day off.

He hates salmon. He thinks it tastes bad and prefers catfish. I don’t know why I even thought of that fact but it’s there.

I don't know if this is a hot take or not, because I haven't interacted with the Omori fandom enough, but I don’t think Kel would forgive Sunny and Basil that easily. I'm not even sure if he'd be the first one to forgive them.

The way I see Kel, he's a very loyal, community-oriented person. He's extroverted, comes from the biggest (and apparently closest) family in the main cast, was the one who made Sunny go out again, and is just overall the glue that holds everyone together and someone who is used to community and friendship and needs these things to feel good.

Mari's death literally took that from him in multiple ways. One friend is dead, the remaining friend group fell apart due to everyone coping so differently, Hero isolated himself and stopped talking to him in the process.

He was the first one to have a birthday after the event, and he spent that birthday completely alone.

I just don't see him taking the revelation that all of this happened because of Sunny and Basil lightly.

There's also the fact that Kel knows how it feels like to have an older sibling who you don't always see eye to eye with, but still love a lot. He has that in Hero just like Sunny did with Mari. This could make him sympathetic towards Sunny and his guilt and grief, but it could also make him more horrified with the whole situation:

"Basil suggested hanging her? And you were okay with it?!"

I can definitely see him trying to face the whole thing with a "What would I do if that was me?" mentality, and coming to the conclusion that Sunny is too cold, because if he was in Sunny's shoes, if he had accidentaly killed Hero, he would never feel okay with lying about it the same way for years.

Ironically, this thought process could also make him more sympathetic towards Basil. Kel is, again, very relationship and community oriented, so maybe he could come to the conclusion that in Basil's shoes, he would also have done anything to protect a friend. He'd still be angry at the lie, though.

Idk, just a thought.

I'm very sorry to sound a bit Ironic but Starscream find it a little bit creepy that you are following him around and looking up his biography despite he does stalk Autobots when he got kicked out by Megatron.

He does find it hot if you had to kill someone to protect him or when you are getting jealous. Especially if you get all Yandere on Airachnid because he despise that spider girl a lot.

Sometimes would ask you to stop being creepy like "Ughhh, could you just stop following me around or stalking me? I'm busy," while working on his data.

Starscreams does know that you are willing to do anything so he would use your killing service so if someone are on your way. He would sweetly say "My dear (Y/N). Would you be kind enough to kill someone for me?" with a golden plate smile.

Starscream also adores that you would be willing enough to be sweet and caring to him. He would also use that side of you if he's injured as he told you who hurt him.

As you kill those who hurt him. He would just gonna watch you from far with a smirk on his face as if he just watch an action or thriller movie.

He does get annoyed that you had just stand there shyly instead of trying to talk to him. He does genuinely wants to talk with you so you don't need to follow him around because he's genuinely an EXTROVERT.

Behind the automatic door, a certain bots with (Paint job Colour/Skin Colour) standing there and watching her/his/their crush. (Y/N) pulse quickens with every glance she/he/they steal, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. And you can't help but imagine what it would be like to step out from your hiding spot and finally engage in a conversation with Starscream.

The decepticon indeed hear the sound of small clicks that (Y/N) made but not stepping inside of the hallway. The poor bot just standing there behind the door, staring at him from far away instead of trying to talk to him. Even he realizes that (Y/N) would follow him secretly from far. Afterall, he's not deaf, he has a great hearings.

A flicker of impatience dancing across his features. He's well aware of (Y/N)'s presence, the way (Y/N) always seem to be around when he's nearby. While Starscream finds it intriguing that (Y/N) is interested in him, he's growing frustrated by their shyness that renders them utterly speechless in his presence. He wants to engage in a conversation, to hear their/her/his voice, to understand what's behind those bashful optics.

Starscream mutters under his breath, a mix of exasperation and determination in his tone. "If only (Y/N) could muster the courage to speak to me," he grumbles quietly to himself. He paces a few steps, optics narrowing in thought. Then, a spark of inspiration lights up his scheming mind. An almost mischievous grin tugs at the corner of his lips as he hatches a plan. Starscream's crimson gaze fixates on (Y/N)'s hiding spot behind the automatic door.

Starscream's voice takes on a dramatic tone, laden with a hint of desperation. "Oh, if only there were someone out there who had the intellect and willingness to assist me with this data. It need to be given by Lord Megatron today," he sighs. Little does he know, you had been listening all along.

With a quiet exhale, you step out from your hiding spot as you feel your body shakin. Not hearing Starscream whispers to himself 'works like a charm'. (Y/N)'s shy demeanor still evident, yet there's some determination in her/his/their voice. "I... I might be able to help you with that data," they/she/he venture, voice timid but earnest.

Starscream's optics narrow, studying them for a moment before a smug smile tugs at his lips. It seems his subtle ploy has worked, coaxing (Y/N) out of hiding. Starscream's commanding presence asserts itself as he raises a hand, gesturing for (Y/N) to come closer. His optics lock onto theirs, a mix of authority and curiosity in his gaze. "Come here, my dear. Would you be willing to lend your expertise and take the reins on this data?"

(Y/N) was a little bit hesitant but nod in response to his question. "Yes, Starscream, I can certainly give it a try," you agreed. You can't help but feel a secret thrill at the endearment he uses, the word "dear" echoing in your mind, even if it was just a casual part of his speech.

A subtle smirk curls at the corner of Starscream's lips as he observes Y/N's response. While his outer demeanor remains composed, inwardly he's pleased to see them stepping up to the task. While he appreciates Y/N's assistance, a darker thought forms within him. He ponders whether they might be willing to go even further to ensure his success by killing Airachnid.

He is also kind of scared that if you are willing to hurt him just because he made you upset so he would try to give you many energon cubes to calm you down if he ever made you upset with his words.

Just like a star scream. He does use your killing service if someone or the Autobot made him upset by scratching his paint job. Or those insecticons scratch his paint job.

He does like it when you are being attentive and sweet around him because he knows that you are willing to help him fix his paint job or help him around with his labs.

Unlike Starscream, he does not mind when you are being shy around him but he just that you just don't hide and follow him even though he's aware you are there. he prefers if you are there and watch him instead of hiding because he does feel it's a bit creepy.

Just like Starscream, he wishes that at least instead of hiding and following you anywhere. You had the guts to talk to him but he won't force you like Starscream does so he would wait for you.

Sometimes would tease you when he is aware that you are following as he pretends that he doesn't notice you "Why, my dear. Why does it feel like the temperature of the room getting hotter? Is there someone in here~" as he knows you are there.

Knockout usually a pristine finish had been his pride and joy, a reflection of his meticulous self-care. But today after what happened to him when there were the Autobots. There were many Scratches on his paint job. His vents puff with annoyance as he was sitting in his clinical room and buffing his paint job. "Those damn Autobots, they are ruining my perfect paint job."

"Primus-darned scraplets, can't trust anyone around here," he grumbles, his voice dripping with exasperation. His vents hiss angrily. He could still remember when he saw his reflection in the train's mirror. Scratches were everywhere as he screams in misery. Realizing he looks horrible.

What Knockout did not realize that someone has been listening to him ranting about the Autobots had ruined his looks. Hidden behind the automatic door, (Y/N) listens with a mixture of surprise and amusement as Knockout's colourful curses fill the air. You can't help but stifle a small chuckle at his reaction.

(Y/N) curiosity piqued, she/he/they peer through a small gap, watching as Knockout meticulously buffs his paint job. "Perhaps it's time I have a proper conversation with Arcee and Bumblebee," (Y/N) muses quietly to themselves. They take a step back, leaving their hiding spot behind the automatic door and considering how to approach the situation.

As (Y/N) strutted along the hallway and travelled into the main hall of the Nemesis. (Y/N) cross the threshold, feeling the familiar sensation of being pulled through space and time. The world shifts around them, and suddenly, they find themselves standing in the vast expanse of the Nevada desert. The sun casts a warm golden glow over the arid landscape.

(Y/N) seamlessly shifts into their alternate form, a sleek and powerful Jet. Her/his/their mechanical whirring and shifting of parts blend harmoniously as they complete their transformation. The wind rushes past them as they soar over dunes and navigate rocky outcrops, their sensors scanning for any signs of the Autobots, especially Bumblebee or Arcee.

(Y/N) internal systems emit a soft beeping sound. Their onboard GPS system flashes to two familiar signals, projecting a holographic interface in front of her/him/them. A bright red dot blinks on the display, indicating the location of Arcee and Bumblebee. The signal is strong and clear, guiding them towards their destination.

(Y/N) accelerates even further, the engines humming with a loud roar as you have gotten faster than before. The red dot on the display draws closer with each passing moment, fueling their anticipation to finally meet those two Autobots that made Knockout whine for the whole day after his mission.

Arcee's sleek motorcycle form and Bumblebee's compact car form come into view. With a rush of emotions, (Y/N) readies themselves/herself/himself for the moment by shifting their/her/his jet form into your real form. Seeing you, Arcee and BUmblebee were quite surprised as they immediately transform to face you. "Good job you two, for causing Knockout to whine the whole day. And here's the prize for you~" (Y/N) chirps as their/her/his servo shifted into her gun.

Soundwave - Decepticon

Unlike Starscream and Knockout. He is not as manipulative and toxic as them when he uses their Yandere S/O. He does not like using other bots service and he is independent.

He doesn't really find it creepy either when he found out that you follow him secretly. After all, he could see everything through the security camera of the Nemesis.

Soundwave do find it a bit confusing when he found out about it. He did not say it out loud or show it through his visor. But he could sense that you are there and staring at him while he is working.

Don't touch him though because if you catch the scene of him versus Airachnid. We know he always has his guards one hundred per cent up

He does find it cute each time he goes into his berth room. He found an energon cube that you brought for him as if you remind him to rest and eat well.

Also finds it cute that you are shy around him although he does not admit it since we know he cannot talk and has a visor on his face. Although it is going to be awkward if you try to talk to him because we know he does not speak and only speaks using voice recording.

Unlike Starscream and Knockout again. If you try to kill anyone except Autobot. He would stop you and reprimand you with the voice recording as he held you with his tendrils

In the dimly lit nemesis main hallway of the ship, the soft glow of holographic displays illuminates his form. His tall and stoic frame engrossed in his work. His mechanical digits dance deftly over the keypad, producing a rhythmic symphony of clicks and soft hums as he types down lines of code and inputs data with precision.

The monitors display intricate diagrams, encrypted transmissions, and complex algorithms. Soundwave-hidden optics underneath his visor remains focused on the screen, his expressions hidden behind his emotionless visage. The complex symphony of keystrokes under Soundwave's adept fingers is in service of a directive issued by none other than Lord Megatron himself.

The data itself was about the whereabouts of Energon on the earth and picking on the signals through the screen. Not wanting to anger the lord of the Decepticon, he had to be focused on every signal and careful with picking them or Megatron is going to be really angry. At least, among Decepticons that he is the only one who is capable of everything.

In the shadows, (Y/N) remains concealed in the darkness through her/his/their hiding spot. A pang of sympathy and concern tugs at your core. The relentless rhythm of his work is evident, and it's clear that he has been engrossed in his duties for an extended period without any break.

As the silence lingers, (Y/N)'s thoughts turn to whether there might be a way to help Soundwave to ease his burden. (Y/N)'s mind begins to formulate a plan. They realize that even the most dedicated Decepticon needs moments of rest. You decided by showing him support in a small but meaningful way.

The (Paint job colour) Decepticons slip away from the hall of the Nemesis ship. Strutting along the hallway and going down with the lift, going down into the energon storage room where there are millions of them. It cannot be wrong if you just take one of them, no one is going to notice, right? Taking one of them in your room, you began to leave the storage room and came back to the second floor of the Nemesis ship.

(Y/N) slips away and makes their way to his quarters. The cube in their servo, they enter the room with a quiet reverence, not wanting to disturb the vehicons or anyone. (Y/N) also did not want to alarm Soundwave either. Placing the Energon cube on a nearby surface, (Y/N) leaves it as a silent reminder, an unspoken encouragement for Soundwave to take a moment and replenish his energy.

Despite standing tall and his chest still puffs up while coming back to his berthroom. His frame exudes a quiet weariness, a testament to the hours he has spent immersed in his duties. The dim lighting casts elongated shadows as Soundwave rises from his workstation, coming back to his room after a long time of working to fix some errors in the computer room.

The door opens and closes with a faint hiss, shutting Soundwave away from the outside world once he enters his room. He turns his head slightly. A momentary pause occurs as he spots something out of place, an energon cube resting on the table nearby. The sight tugs at a corner of his processor, a subtle shift in his usually impassive expression.

Soundwave's sensors analyze the cube for a fraction of a second, his optic lingering on it before he moves to retrieve it. He doesn't show any overt signs of emotion, yet his internal circuits hum with a sense of gratitude. His fingers wrap around the cube, his servos almost reverent as he lifts it. With precision, Soundwave uncaps the cube and takes a sip, the Energon replenishing his systems.

Being Stiles’ twin is definitely a unique experience on its own

While you guys are different in many ways, there are times where your similarities really shine through

Since you’ve grown up with this dude, you both share the same sense of humor and sarcasm (something that everyone condemns)

When he makes a comment or joke, you’re probably the only one chuckling at it and vice versa

I feel like since Stiles is on the more extroverted side, reader is probably a bit more mellow compared to him

You usually let him take the lead on most stuff, enjoying just watching him blabber about who knows what

You might be a bit quieter without him but you never really minded much

When you’re with him though, yall are the capital of yap central. Especially if you guys are talking about something you’re both passionate about. Or, more often than not, when you’re arguing with each other

He’s the one always dragging you around everywhere and forcing you to go through his plans with him

This was a problem when you guys were younger since both of you were often caught by your dad💀

Being Stiles’ twin would include listening to similar music, sharing a lot of the same interests and geeking out on it together

It also includes bothering Scott whenever you can

Being childhood friends, Scott can never truly escape the Stilinski twins. If Stiles isn’t with him, you’re usually not too far away. Scott has labeled you both as the angel and devil on his shoulders lmao

Between the both of you, I think the reader would have a more flight response when in the face of danger. Stiles usually charges at things head first, the complete opposite of you

It’s not that your any more smarter than him, but that you have a higher self preservation than him

You guys have this creepy twin telepathy that Scott hates. You both will just randomly starting speaking singing at the same exact time, saying the exact same thing and not even bat an eye

He doesn’t know if it’s because you’re always around each other or if there’s some divine force behind it, but Scott will always side eye you guys whenever it happens

He loves you both but he just finds it freaky that you both know what the other is thinking at the same time. It’s cool but freaky regardless

You both are very close to each other, so when what happens in season three happens, it really damages your bond.

You both grow apart but that’s a post for another day😇

Alright, well I finally finished these two, so their names are Blessed Cream Cookie and Vanilla Bean Cookie

As stated in a previous post, these two are supposed to be Pure Vanilla Cookie’s parents

The idea for them came from Pure Vanilla’s Story description, which has a line stating “Born from nature-blessed cream and a fragrant vanilla bean” which I then took and was like “what if I make him have parents based on both those things?” So yeah

I originally had two ideas, given that Pure Vanilla seems to have started out as a shepherd. Either he came from a family of shepherds, or given he apparently worships the Divine Light, he came from a family of religious leaders, but decided he wanted to be a shepherd and explore the world instead (which is something I took from Paulo Coelho’s The Alchemist, since that’s a book I had to read and have enjoyed). Eventually though I decided to just do both, having one parent be a shepherd and the other a religious leader of some sort

You know, when it comes to their designs, I had the idea Blessed Cream was from somewhere else and Vanilla Bean was native to the land, yet ironically in the final product it looks the other way around, Blessed Cream looking Vanillian while Vanilla Bean doesn’t

Anyways, I wanted to try and divvy up Pure Vanilla’s design elements between them. For example, Blessed Cream’s eyes more resemble Pure Vanilla’s open eyes, but Vanilla Bean is the one who has closed eyes and the bottom lash. Also, BC has PV’s blue eye(s) while I gave VB the yellow (you just can’t see it), since he’s vanilla and vanilla flowers are yellow. Originally I was planning on giving BC really light yellow hair that would presumably be darkened by VB since he was always going to have dark hair, but PV’s hair is already really light, so I just made it white. But I still gave it yellow lines to indicate maybe it’s a really pale yellow. As well as giving her PV’s lines in the hair. Though I don’t think it turned out the best, likely because I don’t really do that. Ah well

Anyways, let’s talk about them

So Blessed Cream is a religious figure, devoutly following the Divine Light, though to be honest, I don’t really know religion (my family’s atheist) and so I don’t know what role exactly she’d play, though I think she’s something equating to a pastor? She’s a religious leader in the small village they live in

I gave her the marking Pure Vanilla has on his head, assuming he got it from her, though I don’t know if that’s a birthmark or some sort of marking given to him, but honestly I think it could reasonably be either way. If it’s a birthmark, assume it’s red because of Vanilla Bean

I don’t have much for her personality other than she’s a nice and very calm lady

Vanilla Bean is a shepherd, as you can probably guess. He’s very passionate about his sheep and loves them dearly, but some of them are troublemakers and it’s difficult for him to keep his eye off them, for fear of them doing dangerous things. But he still is very content with his lot in life

In terms of personality, he’s also nice and friendly, but I imagine him being much more extroverted than his wife or son, and also a bit on the goofy side

I sort of imagine these two to have had a childhood friends to lovers romance, I don’t know why it just feels right

The family’s not very rich, but they are very happy where they are

I imagine that during the Ancients’s initial travels around Earthbread, they’d come to end up in each other’s hometowns at some point. For Pure Vanilla’s hometown they’d have a very nice time, PV’s parents welcoming his friends with open arms and generally just having a peaceful time. Maybe there’d be a plot about something stealing sheep and Vanilla Bean asking the group’s help in stopping the threat and protecting the herd

But this is probably the nicest time they have at one of their hometowns

Haven't posted in a while but I miss roier cubito SO MUCH and I have roier brain worms, so. I was rewatching some old guapoduo vods and qroier vods in general and it just struck me, once again, as it always does whenever I think of him and people's perspectives of him in general just how much he fits the 'burrinha inocente' trope to a fucking t. To the gringos it literally means "dumb/silly innocent person" BUT in a very ironic way, like when people play dumb to get something/to flirt/to manipulate or be anything BUT actually dumb OR innocent. And the way it feels like people that aren't super close with him (in character/rp) or don't watch his POVs view him as this strictly silly/goofy guy that is super extroverted and fun is SO interesting and funny to me. I just watched this man tell bobby he would rather kill himself than hang out with other people/socialize. I also watched this man tell his husband (the person he trusts the most) that he would rather *act* like elquackity's friend so that the guy wouldn't have time to do evil shit or wouldn't view him/his family as a threat. Like he SAID that. He reads people super well and he keeps that shit super close to him. He is a bigger anti federation islander than even cellbit but I doubt he is the one that pops on people's minds when they think of federation haters. Idk I just love him so much as a character and I'm so sad he is still missing and miserable from how much he misses his husband. Dude gets kidnapped and beaten, was an insomniac mess trying to get any signal that his husband was okay... and we still don't know what happened. He goes on a fucking rant about how much he remembers purgatory and all the fucked up shit that happened to him, isolates himself and refuses to talk to anyone that isn't his kids or his sister, talks about having a plan and gets SNATCHED and we still don't know where he actually is.

Anyway this turned into a "i miss roier cubito" at the end, but my point is: this man can play every single islander like a fucking fiddle and hold his cards to his chest and just act like a silly goofy guy and unless people pay attention (they won't, they don't. Writing jam: can I request more of Huaisangs feelings on how much everyone seems to prefer Mingjue even when they're closer to Huaisangs age bracket?

He sort of... just figures that's the natural order of things. After all, he was such a disappointment that his father went looking to make a replacement without even telling him and the sect has made no secret of preferring a nine-day-old baby over him, so once Mingjue starts getting bigger and stronger and starts gaining even more friends and followers with his can-do attitude (They are both ambiverts by nature, but negative attention has more or less compressed Huaisang into an introvert while positive attention made Mingjue bloom into an extrovert), why wouldn't the rest of the world eventually like him better too? Huaisang can't even be mad about it, he also likes Mingjue a lot better than he likes himself.

It's another one of the list of things that The Betrayal severely fucked up, because before his father was killed, he could rely on the affection of Wen Ruohan and the friendship of Wen Xu, and had Mingjue been brought to the sect with his father still alive and those relationships still in place, his self-esteem might not have cratered quite so much.

On the plus side, while everyone else might think his brother is the obviously superior Nie, Mingjue himself adores his older brother and never hesitates to show it, be it in the withering glares and sharp words he has for anyone putting Huaisang down, or in the fact that he always points out the good things Huaisang manages to get done despite other people being as unhelpful as possible. Sometimes it backfires in an "Aw, he's so good he'll even stand up for his useless brother!" kind of way, which is usually when Huaisang has to gently intervene to keep Mingjue from backing up words with a fist.

The war, as mentioned before, complicates the rather simplistic "Mingjue good, Huaisang bad" narrative that's been built up for eight years. Those involved in logistics and support, both inside the sect and out, get to see how hard Huaisang works, and while Mingjue may want to fight, he's still two years away from even bonding a saber when the war starts. So Huaisang does gain some followers of his own (he's not especially aware of it, other than a sort of vague "Huh, even with a war going, getting work done seems to have gotten easier lately..." feeling).

Post-war, he at least has Jiang Yanli and the newly-minted Jin Guangyao solidly in the "friend" category, with Jin Zixuan and Mianmian in the "becoming friends" category. And while they may not be friends, his unwavering support of Jiang Cheng's effort to rebuild Yunmeng Jiang has won their gratitude and respect.

So, ironically, he comes out of the war more socially well-off than he went into it?

(There will be a downside to this, because Jin Guangshan sadly survives the war, but maybe things won't spiral as badly as they did in canon.)

while i am friendly, i also keep my circle small. i don’t have the ability to maintain a thousand of friendships so i have only a handful of friends that i am reallllyyyy close to.

i am very emotional and have the worst case of fomo. when i see my friends hanging out without me, i immediately feel like it’s the end of the world which is stupid and currently trying to resolve that. the way i cope is usually joining whatever org i can which makes me an extremely busy person at times.

I feel like Gangseok is also an stickler for cats and anything cute in general and is just an overall softie for that kind of thing, so he probably sends things like flowers/cats/animals. As for Sucheon, I feel like he wouldn't send neither cursed or cute stuff necessarily and would fall into the more dead center, but I can see him sending something cursed more than sending something cute. I feel like both of them would send each other photo's of their gross ass injuries all the time.

argues for fun/conflict averse:

Sucheon doesn't argue for fun, and usually minds his own business, but if provoked he'd definitely start shit. As for Gangseok, he manages to remain remarkably out of it, and is an general peacekeeper.

Shares food/steals food:

It's my personal headcanon that Sucheon is an picky eater and Gangseok has an cast iron stomach and as a result of that Gangseok just eats whatever Sucheon doesn't want. However, in terms of generosity, I think that Gangseok would share his snacks and Sucheon would be the one stealing.

completely feral/mom friend:

I just realized I forgot to put Gangseok's circle on that one ANSJDASJ. But he'd definitely be on the far "mom friend" side. He already has that leader vibe to him, but is also incredibly caring and compassionate and I can see him scolding Sucheon for being..Sucheon. As for Sucheon, while he isn't completely unrestrained and feral, sometimes he'll go off his fucking rocker. Paired with his sharp tongue and "i don't give a fuck about you or your feelings" attitude, it's enough to constitute him as pretty feral.

shoulder to cry on/always crying:

This one was a bit of an stretch for me, especially on Sucheon's part. Gangseok of course would be the shoulder to cry on, and since Sucheon has an considerable amount of baggage compared to Gangseok, I put him more farther on the 'always crying' part. However, I doubt he'd ever truly cry, but moreso be more emotionally unbalanced and would need Gangseok to keep his emotions steady.

introvert/extrovert:

I think both of them are introverts, but Sucheon moreso than Gangseok. However, I do consider Gangseok to be someone who's introverted by choice rather than being painfully awkward and unable to connect with anyone. I see him as someone who prefers solitude, and Sucheon's just an more radical version of that. He does not like people.

affection through words/affection through action:

Because Sucheon is shown many times to lack anything that's virtually nice in the verbal department, he's kind of forced into the 'affection through actions' kind of person. I feel like it'd be less acts of service and more of him noticing things about the other person or stepping in for them. Gangseok, on the other hand, I can see being someone who can easily state how he feels about someone, but would prefer to express it through his actions. He'd be much more of an acts of service person.

constant gossip/pretentious conceptual conversations:

When I say Sucheon's an gossip, I mean that he shit talks and bitches about anyone to Gangseok all the time. I doubt he'd be very interested in anybody's personal life or rumors, but he loves shit talking people. As for Gangseok, I can see him info dumping about martial arts or something to Sucheon all the time and about the different techniques. Which is good for Gangseok, because fighting is one of the few topics Sucheon doesn't mind hearing about. He finds learning about other association's fighting styles necessary and vaguely interesting.

"borrows" things/the lender:

I think Sucheon wouldn't want nor find any reason to borrow anything from Gangseok, and Gangseok would be more likely to borrow something from Sucheon, though I don't think it'd be often because they both seem to be indivualistic people who rarely don't have what they need. (Sucheon is constantly on his ass trying to get back the things Gangseok "borrowed" from him)

Both of them just aren't an fan of it. The most Gangseok can take is probably someone resting on his shoulder or sitting really close to him. The most Sucheon can take is someone being four feet or less to him.

Gift giving meter:

Since I can see Sucheon being more observant, I also think that'd translate to him seeing something that reminds him of the other person and just randomly buying it. I lowkey feel like Gangseok would be an awful gift giver, but would buy gifts to express his affection from time to time.

age is obvious. we only know so much but i think the traveler is a lot older so thats why aether gets ++.

my headcanons for venti depend solely upon the time of day or the weather or smth idk. regardless he is on the aroace-spec. aethers like fuck if i know???. and he doesn't fuck so he doesn't know

aether doesn't care that much but he leans more towards holding people cause then they dont run away from him in his dreams saying he came too late. or something. venti doesn't really care for spooning roles but he's actually always liked being held so (i see you sitting on your statue bozo)

aether completely and totally squashes bugs with his shoe on sight. i think it'd be funny if venti was really scared of them but he does appreciate all the life in this world so i feel like he's not actually that scared of them. he would scream for aether if there was a bug in the house just because its funny and they look so cool doing it

okay the thing is. they both have the potential to be equally good and bad drivers. venti can guide dvalin but he totally couldn't drive a waverider. aether could be decent at the waverider but he'd crash the dragon. they both could suck too.

venti can cook like 5 recipes total. hes pretty good at those, but like. only those. aether should definitely open a restaurant but they also like it sometimes when venti tries to cook. more often than not however aether makes dinner and ventis not complaining

aethers kinda neutral about it? there are times and things he could bare but ehhh. but he likes holding ventis hand a lot so he leans slightly more towards PDA. venti wants to kiss his boyfriend and its a free (and his) country so. but he definitely takes care to only do it when aethers comfortable. i feel like he only uses the really sentimental petnames alone though too. like 'my darling honorary knight' in front of people and 'my starfell apostle' or smth equally sappy and weird at home

aether knows venti can take care of himself. he knows everyone is more than capable of taking care of things. but their ally at low hp line (LET ME AT EM) leads me to believe they do have a protective streak. venti has seen his boyfriend fuck shit up literally everywhere they go and he knows a lot more about it than he lets on. He's definitely very chill about everything (like in the GAA) but that doesn't mean he isn't concerned sometimes.

i'm currently a college student studying science (and kinda regretting it actually. kids, don't choose a hard major just because you want to 'challenge yourself and your knowledge' and you crave academic validation </3). my big three are cancer, capri & virgo. i'm an introvert who loves spending time alone in her room, away from the social life as my social battery tends to drain quickly. although, whenever i'm around my best friends, i can become quite extroverted and loud. i do try to be nice with everyone but i'm only truly comfortable & only open up to the ones i'm closest with. still then, there's always times when i can't tell even my loved ones everything and i tend to bottle up my feelings a lot.
