What Happened To Your Du'ā?

Abú Saʿīd al-Khudrī reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْمُتَوَكِّلِ النَّاجِيَّ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ: “There is no Muslim who calls upon Allah, " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَدْعُو بِدَعْوَةٍ without ithm (ie: sin), لَيْسَ فِيهَا إِثْمٌ، or cutting family ties in it, وَلَا قَطِيعَةُ رَحِمٍ، but that Allah will give him one of three answers: إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللَّهُ بِهَا إِحْدَى ثَلَاثٍ: He will quickly fulfil his supplication, إِمَّا أَنْ يُعَجِّلَ لَهُ دَعْوَتَهُ، He will store it for him in the Hereafter, وَإِمَّا يَدَّخِرَهَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ، or He will divert an evil from him similar to it.” وَإِمَّا أَنْ يَكْشِفَ عَنْهُ السُّوءَ بِمِثْلِهَا "، They said, “In that case, we will ask for more.” قَالُوا: إِذًا نُكْثِرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (He ﷺ) said: “Allah has even more.” قَالَ: «اللَّهُ أَكْثَرُ» Ibn Abī Shaybah, al-Muṣannaf 6/22 #29170 إبن أبي شيبة، مصنف ٦/٢٢ #٢٩١٧٠ https://shamela.ws/book/9944/33045 @ilmtest [https://t.me/ilmtest]

Even if disbelievers possess good manners and win hearts with their character, it will not benefit them in the sight of Allāh unless they submit to Him and believe in Him. A Muslim remains superior solely because of their faith in Allāh. A person's true worth is determined by his imān and taqwa, without imān, a person holds no value before Allāh.

Thank Allaah for the blessing of islām, الحمدلله, He Has not Made us amongst the disbelievers.

The Prohibition of Music

As for listening to entertaining musical instruments taken from the foreigners, it is prohibited by consensus, وأما استماع آلات الملاهي المطربة المتلقاة من وضع الأعاجم، فمحرم مجمع على تحريمه، and it is not known from any of them (the scholars and predecessors) any concession for any such things, ولا يعلم عن أحد منه الرخصة في شيء من ذَلِكَ، and whoever transmits a concession from a reputable (reliable) Imām, ومن نقل الرخصة فيه عن إمام يعتد به such a person has lied and fabricated. فقد كذب وافترى. Sincere Advice

And it was reported from a chain to al-ʿIrbāḍ b. Sārīyyah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: وأخرج بسنده عن الْعِرْبَاض بن سارية، قال: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up among us one day and gave us an eloquent sermon by which our hearts trembled and tears came to our eyes. صلى بنا رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- ذات يوم، ثم أقبل علينا، فوعَظَنا مَوْعظةً بليغةً، ذَرَفَت منها العيون، ووَجِلَت منها القلوب، We said: “O Messenger of Allah, it is as though this is a farewell sermon, so advise us.” فقال قائل: يا رسول الله، كأنها موعظة مُوَدِّع، فماذا تعهد إلينا؟ He said: “I advise you to fear Allah, قال: "أوصيكم بتقوى الله، and to hear and obey the ruler, والسمع والطاعه، even if an Ethiopian slave who's head is like a raisin becomes your ruler. وإن تأمر عليكم عبد حبشي، كأنّ رأسه زبيبة، Verily he among you who lives after me will see many differences, فإنه من يَعِش منكم بعدي، فسيرىَ اختلافا كثيرًا، so you must adhere to my Sunnah فعليكم بسنتي، and to the Sunnah of al-Khulafāʾ ʿl-Rāshidīn (ie: the rightly-guided Khulafah), وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين، تمسكوا بها، cling to them and bite on to it with your molar teeth. وعَضُّوا عليها بالنواجذ، Beware of newly invented matters (in worship), وإياكم ومحدثات الأمور، for every invented matter is a bidaʿh (ie: an innovation), فإن كل محدثة بدعة، and every bidaʿh is ḍalālah (ie: a going astray).” وكل بدعة ضلالة". May الله Unite us with our families and loved ones in Jannah and Save us from Fire. May our living be in the safety of imaan and obedience to Him, May our departure be in safety of imaan and obedience to Him. May الله Keep us firm upon the path towards Jannah and May الله Keep our dear ones, family, friends firm upon the path to Jannah.

what is separation?

"لیس السفر" "Not the journey."

"ولا فراق الحب" "Nor the separation of love."

"حتی الموت لیس فراقا" "Even death is not separation."

"سنجتمع فی الآخرۃ" "soon We will meet in the Hereafter."

"الفراق ھو" "It is the separation,"

"ان یکون احدنا فی الجنہ" "If one of us is in Paradise,"

"والاخر فی النار "And the other is in the Fire."

Accept it as one done purely and sincerely for Your pleasure. Place the ajr in my mi'zaan of good deeds on the day I am laid in my grave and on the day I am resurrected, and have mercy on me and my progeny, aameen.
