i feel like with any other character from any other media it'd be fine to simp for and write/read x readers of them, but when it comes to these books, it's off limits! no way, what are you, crazy? yes, yes i'm unhinged and desperately want their love and affection simultaneously. i want to be in a happy little poly relationship with these overpowered beautiful men with long hair.

So have my brainrot of Rock Star Vil.

The purple ends of his hair flying around, as Vil picks up the microphone from its stand. Pumping his fist in the air, to an astonishing loud cheer from the crowd. He’s in all black, silver jewellery sparkling on the base of his neck, draping delicately over his collar bones. Chains around his wrists, twinkling like stars.

Even amidst a thousand stage lights, Vil still found a way to shine the brightest amongst all of them. He clutches at the microphone like it’s his lifeline, knuckles growing white from the sheer force he was exerting. Singing to the crowd, every letter spilling from his lips. Every syllable seemed laced with an alluring poison, an enchanting melody that never left your heart after you’ve heard it once.

Vil had the voice of an angel, and the raw, burning emotion of one who had been cast down unjustifiably. Truly the fairest of all.

Perhaps you’re his manager. Trailing after him after every concert, passing him a towel or some water. Vil’s rather grateful to you, considering the fact that you’ve stuck with him all this while. Even when he was just a fledgling of a singer.

You two sometimes spend lonely nights with each other, scribbling down lyrics on pieces of scented notepads. Ideation and inspiration do come from odd places… and having a piece of you in his songs does sound rather appealing to Vil.

He keeps the pages with your handwriting on it. Tucks it in a small drawer for him to pour over later, smiling softly at the way your letters dance across the page.

He does insist you watch his performances live on stage whenever you can. There’s a different sort of experience you get from listening to someone sing on the stage, rather than in a recording studio. The atmosphere, the sheer energy of the crowd…

And besides, he’ll do so much better if he knew your lovely gaze was on him for the entirety of the show.

vanina means "brings good news" in spanish and portuguese

it is also an alternate spelling of vania (latin): pet form of evangelina

i thought it would be funny to name her like that and she’s like “i bring good news; i killed 20 people :D”

also nina is a cute nickname

oh and her left eye is non functional due to carelessness whoops

Dumb Dead Poets Headcanons:

- Charlie doesn’t know his left from his right, this was only made worse by marching band where directions are from the director’s (opposite) perspective (Charlie is such a band kid, he belongs in marching band)

- Neil is related to Steve Perry (lead singer of Journey) in a complicated second/third cousin twice removed kinda way. His family was never in contact with him, it’s just an odd thing they brag about a lot

- Meeks was a semi-popular Viner, not super big but he had at least one viral video that ended up in every vine compilation on YouTube

-Todd refuses to use big spoons, the only explanation he gives is that “the vibes are off” (Neil only uses big spoons in order to save the “good” ones for Todd. Todd does not know this reasoning and is horrified every time he sees it)

-Knox never zips up his coat, no matter how cold it gets. There’s no reason, he just doesn’t

-Pitts has a secret love of country music, only Meeks knows (they scream/sing along to Carrie Underwood together)

-Cameron’s first word was “taxes”

been having a few very bad brain days because i have a lot of things i want to do but there's more things i need to do and apparently i'm really, really good at ignoring my responsibilities and getting nothing accomplished, oopsie

He’s in love and he wants to share that with his best friend.  Buck raises a brow and licks the food off his fingers again. “Oh?” he asks, attention piqued. His cheeks have a bright pink hue to them, highlighted by the neon signs all around. “You’re interested in somebody? Like, for real?”  “Mhm.” Eddie grins, reaches out to wipe a glob of chili and ketchup off the corner of Buck’s mouth, and licks it off his thumb. “I am.”  “Are you gonna tell me who it is?”  “Maybe,” Eddie replies, shrugging, and finishes off his fourth beer. “If you’re a good boy tonight.”

Not a day goes by that I don't think about how the Boiling Isles' complete lack of LGBTphobia effects how witches perceive sexuality and gender. Like it's not the only factor but I feel like the fear of societal judgement and internalized prejudice is a huge obstacle in discovering your own orientation.

So with that whole part avoided, I'm imagining that in the process in the Demon Realm is??? Much smoother sailing??? Like you might be a little confused at first but there's no shame tied to that confusion. Nobody is pressured into deciding on a label for themselves because labels don't exist. Thinking you're into boys for a while until realizing you're a lesbian is nbd here. Neither is thinking you're a lesbian and then realzing you're bi. Nobody judges you. Nobody cares. I just think it may provide you with a lot of clarity that you simply couldn't get in the Human Realm.

I've always headcanoned that while straight is considered the "default" in the Human Realm, most witches just assume they're bi/pan until they discover otherwise. (And not in a "bi-normativity" way, which is, wow, a terrible word I just made up there. But more in a "idk what gender I'm into yet. Or any at all. So I'll just say everybody for the moment" way.)

But I feel like, even if there's confusion, a good percentage of witches actually somehow figure themselves out relatively early. Like they'll be little kindergarten girls in Amity's library group who have not experienced romantic attraction yet but they already know that if they're ever gonna get married, it's gonna be another girl, cause nobody ever told them they couldn't. Some figure it out as preteens. Some are teens. It's probably one of the chillest aspects of maturing for them.

It's why I'm so interested in Hunter's little bi patch on his jacket and I love thinking about how he brought himself to this conclusion. Just thinking about a sheltered brainwashed kid like Hunter who feels deeply ashamed over so much about himself but his opinion in regards to sexuality has always being like "yeah boy, girl, neither, whatever, I don't care, I'm too busy hitting bad guys with my stick."

So when Luz finally explains to him and the other kids what sexualities even are, with the names and flags and everything, he just says "Bi" then and there, completely unfazed. This is bonkers to me. I think it's the best headcanon ever. He really does not care. Nobody ever told him that he should. But that being said, he sure does love having a little pride flag. Imagine living your whole life loving scrambled eggs. It's just another mundane part of you. But then suddenly you're transported to a world where you're celebrated for loving scrambled eggs. You've got your own little "I <3 scrambled eggs" badge of honor. You don't understand it. But it makes you feel very special and important. I imagine that's how Hunter feels with his little bi pride patch on his sweater.
