JacePorter Killing Eve au where Agent Porter Cliffbreaker is tasked with hunting down new to the scene assassin Jace Stardiamond.

Jace loves what he does and the money for gorgeous clothes & impeccable disguises doesn’t hurt, but it does get a little monotonous from time to time. It’s the same thing day in and day out: get an assignment, travel to the destination, make the kill, rinse and repeat. But this detective that’s on his tail is quite interesting. Playing with him for a while couldn’t hurt.

Porter is just as intrigued with Jace, maybe even a little obsessive. He’s never seen someone be so flashy and yet so precise and careful about murder until Jace starts slipping up. Or maybe Jace just wants to be found by his new plaything. Nonetheless, Porter will find him even if it kills him and ruins his life. He. Will. Catch. Him

But not if Jace catches him first 😉

isat everyone loops au but it’s very much a horror thing and it’s in like a conga line type formation. Based on the concept of saving the game lol. Only one person is looping and the LAST person looping is ‘Loop’ [aka they take their roles, its referred 2 as redacting in mmy notes as it basically removes them from the world entirely.] The timeloop goes through everyone, one at a time, all in a row, over and over. If your redacted you remember, until the next save happens and THEY redact and you aren’t anymore and you forget. Yeah the plot’s still 90% the same. Yeah the world kinda forms around the empty hole whoever is redacted has left. Loop is the only one who remembers everything and interacts with whoever is redacted and like…. is tthe reason the save stars exist? which makes them, technically, a secondary antagonist. are you not doing huevember anymore?

At the moment I’m taking a break because I’m really sick, but once I’m able to paint again I plan on getting back to it. Huevember is something I do in my spare time when I’m not doing work for my job and right now I have no spare time because I’m focusing on resting and trying not to throw up.

I’ll post day 13 at some point and then just keep the days going into December. Huevember is fun! It’s most fun when I get to paint consistently every single day. I’m waiting til I recover enough for it to be fun again.

one of the greatest things ever is when you’re friends’ friends start becoming your friends. a few months ago my roommates invited me to game night with their friends, which I kinda thought would be a one-time thing but they’ve been inviting me regularly and it’s been really fun.

now this weekend my roommates are out of town, but to my surprise my roommates’ friend reached out and invited me to come to game night even without my roommates and i think i might cry

Still thinking about Spiderpeople (and people connected to those Spiderpeople) from the universes where it seems an awful lot like they’re the only heroes landing in a universe where it’s one of the Spiderpeople who’s surrounded by other heroes like the Avengers and the Fantastic 4, etc

And obviously because of this they’re gonna be extra careful about secret identities because of all the extra heroes who aren’t Spidey hanging around, and I’m just thinking about the Prowler (Aaron) trying to figure out if he’s alive or even existing in this universe while trying not to give away too much so he’s just like “who’s the coolest bald man you know?”

And Spidey’s like “oh!! I know exactly who you want!! follow me!!”

He brings them to Nick Fury.

Later on they run into what’s obviously a variant of Miles, who the other Spidey of that universe didn’t bring up because Miles isn’t known as “Spiderman” in that universe (maybe it’s like “arachnikid,” or it’s Prowler!Miles, or maybe he’s just going through a phase where he’s trying out a new hero name each week, etc)

So Aaron’s like “oh great, I can definitely ask him, but again I gotta be discrete because of all these extra heroes around” so he asks him in the exact same way he asked the other Spidey (“who’s the coolest bald man you know?”)

Miles also brings them to Nick Fury.

(Yes his uncle is still alive, yes the other Aaron is absolutely gonna tell on him)

Also! Because there’s so much emphasis on the other heroes handling “big stuff”, I like to imagine they all keep trying to insert themselves into the situation because it’s a multiverse situation which falls under “their jurisdiction” and Spidey’s just like “??? they’re all Spiderpeople tho, this is my thing, go away, shoo”

I love that one of the roles fire plays in this series is to represent how all consuming desire can be, and how it’s framed as something that can be world ending when uncontrolled.

So naming unnatural, untamable green fire ‘wildfire’ is therefore a stroke of genius. It’s the representation of how we humans manufacture our own doom in the pursuit power, of how uncontrolled desire will eventually blow up in our faces.

And the fact that barrels and barrels of it sit fermenting under Kings Landing, Westeros’s breeding ground of maniac desire, and the capital the ambitious and corrupt flock to for what it promises? It’s perfection!
