Ok so a few years into our marriage my husband and I were living away from family and finally had the freedom to sort of explore ourselves and who were are

Naturally this led to growth and realization. Him realizing he’s bi, me realizing… a lot about myself

So as part of this relization process I told my husband we could have an open marriage. I wasn’t interested in trying anything with anyone, but he needed an opportunity to explore himself and as long as I knew he was safe and we talked, I was fine with that

This worked well for us. He got himself a boyfriend that lasted for years and had a great time

The funny part comes with our friends. My husband was in school at the time and we had a group of friends we had made that we clung to. Most of these friends were chill and super supportive

One was not. They were super Christian (to the point of being a younger earthed… when she was studying medicine which blew my mind how she did that but ok)

Basically we told everyone except her. She was not to know

Naturally, as happens, she found out and flipped her shit. Wouldn’t talk to my husband, got incredibly upset about it the whole nine yards

At one point she messaged me this big thing about having my husband ‘cheat’ on me and ‘condoning his lifestyle’

You know the whole homophobic bs

Anyways I didn’t even read most of it XD got half way through and kinda just sent a message that amounted to ‘last I checked this was my marriage. If you’d like to be part of it you can talk to my husband, but it seems you’re not interested in that sort of thing’

Needless to say, she stopped talking to us as soon as they go all graduated and she could go home to her ‘real friends’ (church people)
