Sometimes, it's a period of consuming media, and doing "fic research" in enjoying storytelling styles and methods you wouldn't have considered in your muse-inspired hazes. Sometimes, it's a good handbrake your brain has to keep from being burnt out by your hobby! But sometimes, if it is a thing that really isn't being shaken off and you'd like it to be-- challenge yourself. Write even when it's uncomfortable. Have a dump AU that's nonsensical and crude and serves only to work the muscle again. Ask other people for random tags and ideas to give your brain something new to work with. If bullet pointed ideas are all you can do, do that! Just keep writing, and somewhere the writing muscle will remember how to do it's thing, or grow into something stronger, and the muse will be working through you again 😊

Some times the two would roleplay as heroes with Hercules saving (Name) and her vice versa. Ares though it was cute how they did so; one day Ares asked if either played the villain and he wasn’t expecting Hercules to blush and become flustered changing the subject.

Ares didn’t know the last time (Name) played the villain things became a bit heated between the two; Hercules blames the tight leather outfit (Name) wore saying, “I didn’t want to be a ugly villain, so I wore this.” Hercules may have captured his villain friend but she won in other ways that day.

😳: Living Owen was a 3/10 on the embarrassment scale. Like the occasional fart loud or smelly enough to disrupt a lecture class of 130 people might make him go a bit pink, but that would be it. Even in normal size sixth form courses, he’d definitely crack one off if he knew the teacher would find it disrespectful, because he was a cheeky little shit in school. Even with Katie, he’d generally let rip and say “You may as well learn what death do us part means.”

His most embarrassing moment was post-resurrection. He was examining Ianto after he was burned in the midst of a Dalek attack. on the run from the Empire, and just in everyday life, they are much more prone to utilitarian, functional garments in neutral tones. sleeveless tunic belted over utility pants, with steel-toed boots and their trusty backpack. they steal one of Hunter's old bandanas and tie it around their bicep; Hunter loves it. and of course once they settle on Pabu, they start wearing more tank tops and shorts, soft-bottom shoes, a shark-tooth necklace that Omega crafts.

used to have long hair, but cut it really short when they joined the GAR and just never grew it out again.

Captain Static, Shatter Company. earned his name because when he was a cadet, he always pretended to talk on the radios with sound effects (*cksh* come in, command, *cksh*). he's a little bit naive, but very loyal and values intelligence. he often volunteers his company for recon missions, having trained them specially to communicate effectively. he's clean-shaven, with a stud nose piercing and regulation haircut.

Captain Flare, Phoenix Company. loves, loves, loves flare guns and will pout (mostly in jest these days) if he doesn't get the chance to pop one off at least once during a campaign. he's loud and unapologetic, a little cocky, but he does genuinely mean well and respects the hell out of anyone who can outwit his twin, Seg. with a permanent five o'clock shadow, brilliant white teeth, and that one perfect curl that always rests so nicely on his forehead, he's hot and he kriffin' knows it.

Captain Seg, Flare's twin, commanding officer of Angel Company. Seg is a little bit more withdrawn and quiet than Flare, but no less quick-witted--and quick-tempered. he often waits for an opening in his enemy's forces rather than making an opening himself (he leaves that to Shatter & Phoenix Companies). this is both in terms of battle tactics and verbal sparring. often known for silently observing conversations or debates, and drops one-line zingers that leave the entire table slack-jawed and/or in uproarious laughter. he's the most "reg" looking of the captains, but don't let that fool you.

Captain Drifter, of Hollow Company. Drifter is an old grumpy man at heart, rather pessimistic, but can be charming and suave when the occasion arises. something of a social chameleon, often chosen for diplomatic missions alongside the General. he's sarcastic but genuine, a balance he learned early on how to maintain, and it's gotten him into trouble as much as out of it. he has ear piercings, a septum ring, and a huge geometric tattoo sleeve on his right leg; and sometimes lets his hair grow out to about shoulder length.

Bonus boys! Hotshot and Screwball, ARC troopers, who featured briefly in Second Chances. Hotshot has a buzzcut and goatee, vitiligo, a rough hand-drawn star tattoo beneath his left eye, and a scar across the bridge of his nose. Screwball has long hair that he keeps tied back in a low bun, and a scar along the right side of his face. both Hotshot and Screwball are pranksters (and don't get me started on when they have shore leave with Screwball's twin, Misfit), but very, very good at their jobs. they specialize in destabilizing the enemy from behind enemy lines, often using their chaotic impulses to their advantage.

Alex’s Christmas Sleepover 2022!!!

Okay, okay, sooooo

Last year I started this way too late and I also, like, completely failed and didn’t get any of my story requests done, so I greatly apologize for that 😅😅😅 BUT to @shadyrunawaykingdom, @corner-emo​, and @sevenmillionpsychos​, if you still want the same stories that you requested previously, I will write them this year and they will be the very first stories that I put out from this. If you want a new story instead, just let me know and I’ll do that instead. Many years later, here at 38 I am finally joining Tumblr.

Here are some REALLY 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲:⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 🍽️I had my first job before I was legally allowed to at 13 (washing dishes at a restauruant), bought my own car at 16 and between age 18-20 had 3 jobs while attending college. ⁣ ⁣ I have an associates in liberal arts and a bachelor’s in psychology and obtained both in 3 years. Now I run 2 businesses that have absolutely nothing to do with my degrees. ⁣📜 ⁣ 🐾𝗔𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝘁. I think I am a hybrid of factfem and rudefem. I still try to raise good points or bring up statistics/receipts when responding to someone even if they are as dumb as a rock or a raging misogynist and homophobe someone else might be lurking and benefit from that information cause that used to be me before I peaked! thank you to all the radfems who were patient enough to explain facts to fuckwits, you didn’t convince them but you peaked me.

being constantly told that lesbians need to like dick and being fed up with it is what peaked trans me. I think ever since I was a kid I’ve been peaking patriarchy and noticing how I can’t do things the way my male cousins do and I have to deal with things they don’t and I thought that was unfair and it’s a process like I used to be not all men (cringe) when I was younger and my lesbian friend argued with me about it but thankfully she didn’t give up on me and every year that goes by I peak more and more because the level of depravity and violence men commit against women and girls is atrocious beyond comprehension and we all have to collectively pretend it doesn’t happen so we can live our lives and hope we’ll spared and it shouldn’t be like this.
