A huge mission, the world at stake, and in the end only Red Robin, Impulse, Wonder Girl, and Superboy made it to the center to place the bomb that would the alien mothership.

Superboy is injured.

Red Robin is injured.

Impulse is injured.

Wonder Girl is injured.

They know they won't be able to outrun this.

They die in sacrifice to something Greater, clinging to each other for comfort.

They wake up.

And oh shit look at that they've been reborn.

But there's been changes.

Bart is reborn as Tim's fraternal twin. Instead of loving but distant, Jack and Janet are criminal in their neglect. Not even Tim can defend them; they forget to leave food for their toddlers, for fucks sake.

Bart takes control and ends up speeding to Central City as soon as he can toddle to go on food runs. He knows what it's like to go hungry, in the future that wasn't, and he isn't going to let that happen to Tim.

Kon is reborn as Clark's actual, legitimate firstborn with Lois, who Clark had gotten together with far sooner in this new world. They love him so much and he...doesn't believe it. Can't. He isn't who they think he is, he doesn't deserve this, and when they find out it'll only hurt him more if he falls for it.

Cassie is reborn as Wonder Woman's only daughter, and spends her summers with her father, Steve Trevor, before he passes away and all other times in Themyscira.

Now they have to grow up in a world so very different but so very similar.

Cassie still looks in on her other mom, her first one, but has nothing she can say to explain it to Diana.

Bart still has super speed, but Tim is still a non-meta.

Kon struggles with the Clark he's seeing growing up and how much it clashes with the Clark he knew in his past life.

Young Justice Villain AU

When your ten years old and your parents make a deal with assassins, guess where you end up? Running away with a 10 year old assassin child with when you’re 18 apparently. Dropping that ten year old at his biological fathers door step and dipping though, not great.

There aren’t many paths to go down when your a clone of a corrupted evil businessman and his arch nemesis, the greatest hero in the country. Staying with corrupt businessman until you decide your tired of him and run away is simply the easiest one.

Being from the future is tough. Having a clone/brother/best friend is less tough though. Causing chaos with your fellow speedster from the future is just straight fun though, until he ends up getting captured and your codependent relationship has dissapeared.

Secretly being the granddaughter of Zeus is a fun past time. Until you get fed up with the gods and the Amazon’s sending you on hero quests and decide this world doesn’t deserve you as a hero so you fuck off to do your own thing and now monsters are hunting you for sport.

Four villainous kids meeting up, two of which have just lost the most important people in their lives and the other two decided this world can go fuck itself, all of whom are being hunted by dangerous pursuers? Well now your just asking for chaos.

If you ask the og members when it started, they would all point you to Elena.

The story is pretty normal. They were all hanging out in the kitchen when Elena unprompted just goes into her bulshit.

Elena: Ok, but like, what if instead of an angel and a devil, there's a lord of chaos and a lord of order on your shoulders. Wally, snickering: They both want you to commit murder but the argument will be over how you kill them. Elena, @ Wally: RIGHT???????

It goes around for a bit like it usually does for two days. Till Dick motherfucking Grayson, king of gags joins the fray.

Dick, having recently gotten a younger brother and is suddenly nerfed w/ the Cain Instinct™: I'm gonna now give in to chaos. Artemis: Whatever. I'm gonna sit here and listen to order and cook my ramen. You want some.

So now its back. And in the beginning its pretty normal stuff and innocent too. Till they're on a mission one day and Wally goes I'm about to go please chaos while running a distraction and Artemis just says ew dude take your kinks somewhere else. And then its all downhill from there.

I'm about to give chaos head. Gotta go give order a smooch. Bout' to go fuck chaos. These phrases have now become pretty common in the team.

Once during a Very Serious Mission they were teaming up with the Justice League. Kaldur was in charge of the report but (in his defense it was a very long mission) he was really tired and his filter wasn't on so accidentally told Superman they have served order some cunt. They never let him live it down.

Dick sends one (1) random "I'm gonna get pegged by chaos tonight" and just fucking disappears. No one hears from him. A few weeks later he shows up in a god-awful mullet and a slutty v-neck claiming to be on a journey of self-discovery and starts going by Nightwing.

I’ve been chewing on the idea of a young justice no capes au. Def going to draw some art of it. Might try to write something for it too maybe like some snippet mini fics instead of one long one 👀👀

I’m thinking the boys are like online friends and post high school by a few years decide to move out together as they each work on growing into their selves and find their footing away from where they grew up.

I’m thinking Conner would be like a child star kind of thing so that’s where we’d still he able to keep the history of grown ups manipulating and using him for money and gain, and through his online friendship with Tim and Bart they helped him come to terms with the fact he was in a toxic environment.

From Tim’s end he’s more than willing to try the venture with them because he doesn’t really feel bound to staying due to his parents standoffish and neglectful nature and feels kind of unwanted now that his parents seemed to have lost interest in him as an object to flaunt about and the prospect of moving into some place lively with friends sounds really good.

And for Bart he’s coming to terms that time is moving and one day Max just won’t be around so he’s should start figuring out how to cope and what he’s going to do in the future, and he feels like living with his friends feels like a really tangible step for him to take for that.

So I was rewatching the first couple episodes of young justice and there was a part where Robin Wally and Kaldur had gotten captured and the scientist said stuff about making clones of them before deleting the source material and. I just kind of sat there like oh my god AU AU. Like what happened with Roy exept there isn’t a team and they get put on ice and they go on with their lives without the team or the knowledge that they’re clones. I don’t really have any other ideas but feel free to add on if you want.

Kon hears the merman’s heart speed up, on the right side of his chest rather than the left; beating in a rhythm different from both his own and that of most humans, slow and sweeping; almost like gentle waves rolling onto the shore. With a breathy, nervous laugh, Tim meets his eyes and adds, “Mostly because messing with you humans is just too much fun to pass up.”

“You think you’re so clever, don’tcha?” Kon drawls, a hint of Midwestern colouring his accent. It’s a souvenir from all those weekends that Clark’s taken Kon home to his parents’ farm with him, a mark in the shape of Kansas; etched deeper into his bones with every time Ma ruffles his hair and every time Pa tells him, ‘Good job, son!’ after a long day of working the fields.

Kon licks his lips and leans in close enough to spot the constellation of tiny, indigo freckles scattered all over Tim’s nose and cheeks; darkening further as his cheeks do, until they’re so blue they’re almost black. With one, final wink, Kon makes a show of breathing in a big lungful of air that he doesn’t need— and lets his body sink back beneath the waves.

How do you think Ritchie would be recruited into Young Justice? Would his backstory be the same as in Shock?

Hmm, well, I guess I can tell you all what I plan to do when I get around to that part in my YJ fics since it's technically not a spoiler so much as a plot point.

In my YJ fics, instead of Vergil being captured off the streets to be experimented on, it's Richie since he had actually ran away from his rather 'toxic' home (ie He couldn't take his father's rather blatant racism [it's canon] anymore) and has been living on the streets for a few months. Vergil doesn't realise that his best friend has been living on the streets until he visits Foley's residence to check up on Richie, who has been absent from school w/o notice for a week and hasn't been replying to any calls or texts. Meeting Richie's dad makes the teenager understand why the blonde avoided inviting him over or made up some kind of excuse as to when he couldn't come over. Talking to Richie's mother was a lot more pleasant by comparison, which is how Vergil learns that Richie ran away from home. The lack of concern from Richie's father about his missing son was more than confusing and concerning to Vergil. Same with Richie's mother until she told him that she assumed that her son was staying with him. When Virgil tells her that Richie wasn't 'crashing with him until things blew over' or the fact that he didn't know that his best friend ran away from home, it causes her to become more panicky and rushes to call the police to report her son officially missing.

After talking to his own father about Richie's home situation, Robert Hawkins explains that not everyone has a 'good' homelife or 'understanding' parents and that Richie chose not to be like his dad by keeping his mind open to others rather than closing it off. Vergil then asks his father the question of him being a bad friend for not noticing that Richie wasn't living with his parents, to which Robert tells his son that he was a good friend. The father explains to his son that he was worried about his friend Before he knew about his home life and is still worried about his now missing friend.

Still feeling guilty, Vergil goes out to find Richie on his own accord, despite the warning from the police. He gets into a situation that causes him to get severely electrocuted thus activating his Meta-Gene to save his life (I already have this planned, but I want that to be a surprise for the readers). Now that he has electric superpowers, Vergil immediately picks up the pace of his search for his best friend, even though he's still learning to control his powers along the way.

During Vergil's search, he runs into the Young Justice Team, all of whom thought the newly powered teen was being a self-made vigilante. After a fight and a talk-down, Vergil explains what he was doing and that he was still trying to control his new powers along the way. While the team do admire the teen for his determination and willingness to find his missing friend, they did have concerns about the fact that Vergil didn't have complete control over his powers (which was causing a lot of unintentional havoc and damage).

After a nice little agreement, the Young Justice Team takes over the Missing Person's Case while Vergil trains under Black Lightning to get the hang of his new powers. Over the next few days, the Missing Person's Case quickly becomes a Missing People Mission.

Some plot happens, and then Vergil and Richie are reunited and officially join the Young Justice Team as Static and Gear.

introducing my young justice animated show except it fits the young justice comics better au! or as i like to call it, my core four yja au. there are a few changes from the original yj show aside from just changing the characters, but the basic premise of it is the same as the show! more info about it under the cut :)

cassie bart and tim all go to the hall of justice on the fourth of july. this is the first time all of the sidekicks have gone to the hall together (when dick was robin, wally was kf, donna was wonder girl, etc the hall didnt exist). tim gets mad because they aren’t shown the extent of the hall/the watchtower, but before he can storm off the league gets the call from superman about cadmus. etc etc.. bart cassie and tim find kon and blow up cadmus, and make the yj team. (its the first teen/sidekick team, the titans weren’t formed until after all the og sidekicks were adults)

m’gann fills her same role in the show, and the role of artemis is filled by steph :) Cluemaster is akin to sportsmaster, and Jason is akin to chesire. in this au steph and jason grew up on the streets together and were like siblings, and from stephs point of view jason just disappeared a few years ago. she doesn’t know he was robin and died, so she just assumes he ran off to join the league of assassins
