One of the things I’m most excited to see is whether they will change the intro for part 2, because… well… one of the main focuses of the s2.1 intro is, yk, Kai doing rising dragon and the whole thing about the gong of shattering and stuff— to me it just doesn’t match very well to a bunch of tournament episodes.

But they usually don’t change the intro in between seasons, no matter what happens… we’ll have to wait and see

oh i can talk about this for a long fucking time…

so i feel like dinluke started with a very long slow-burn of din being an asshole to luke after the events of the book of boba fett, luke being an asshole back before he realizes his monster crush on him, friends, din realizes he’s DOWN BAD, then best friends

they’re best friends. and then I think they’d randomly fuck. maybe there was a lot of flirting leading up to it, din “”CONVENIENTLY”” brushing against lukes ass while they’re cooking or whatever, conversations about sex and intimacy but in a this is vital mandalorian/jedi information way, until luke just literally cannot take it anymore and makes some kind of first move as soon as grogu is snoring somewhere

it’s nothing crazy, maybe luke kisses din’s helmet or he leans into the crook of his neck, but it’s enough to give them both some confidence. past conversations luke was like… so how do you Do It and that’s where the blindfold comes in, din is so wordlessly that horny he rips luke’s sleeve to create a makeshift one. Does luke care? Absolutely not. he laughs so hard. they both embarrassingly confess that it’s been a while for the both of them and then they’re laughing even harder

I think it would be slow until luke gets impatient. din wants to take his time prepping luke, make sure he does it right because if he messes up there is No Way this is happening literally ever again, until luke does some sacrilegious force move that has din’s hips snapping forward that makes them both laugh. it becomes a lot less stressful after that. they make jokes and kiss whatever spots of the body they can find. din quietly murmurs his homoerotic Shakespearean-esc declarations of loyalty and how much luke means to him. and luke is mouthy, telling din how much he’s wanted this, and he’s babbling about how incredible din is, that the force is swimming around them, and din wants to hear his voice strained and fucked out like that for the rest of his life. all a very tender, slightly stressful, good time, until the next morning when luke gets all in his head about attachments and tells din to go away<3 that’s for another time tho <3
