I think wilbur knows when people are uncomfortable around him. One thing about his friendship with George is that he said George jumped every time he touched him and in the Sam & Colby video we see him respecting George's space (I mean, not like before). Maybe he understood that with George, he has to take a different path on how to approach him. But with Ranboo the whole thing of whether or not he knows if Ranboo is uncomfortable is confusing, because Ranboo might be uncomfortable, but I feel that Ranboo is the type of person who is willing to deal with flirting, although I think with Tommy he is feel more comfortable. Wilbur probably isn't noticing that Ranboo is uncomfortable or doesn't care in this case. Or maybe he knows that he can feel more relaxed with his friendship with ranboo, while with George, it is a more complicated friendship and he makes an effort in this friendship.

The thing is that I feel like Ranboo isn’t uncomfortable with Wilbur, he’s just brushing it off as a joke. In all of the quick flirts I’ve seen pass between them I haven’t heard Ranboo object to any of them, he just keeps on going. Take the lip smacking video, he just went ahead and smacked without backing down. I don’t even really think it’s that bad in isolation, it’s just noteworthy that this is part of their dynamic now.

The real troubling thing is if I’ve got my read on him right, Wilbur likes how accommodating and flexible Ranboo is. He’s very socially aware, caring and susceptible to guilt. Frankly, Wilbur can manipulate him, and Ranboo seems special enough to Wilbur to be worth manipulating.

as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."
