Xiao is employed by the Wangsheng Parlor as an assistant funeral director.
Slim silk tie under a clean shaven chin, white gloves covering well-manicured hands.
He awaits his customers respectfully, resembling an elegant shadow behind a rich mahogany counter of the establishment.
The yaksha's movements are refined as he serves the deceased and bereaved alike.
Providing last rites as well as calming reassurance to the ones left behind - carefully chosen words lifting some of the grief from their shoulders, before they too take their leave.
He is beautiful, thorough and efficient.
Never rushing things.
And something in you aches to feel his care directly too, before your own skin grows cold to the touch.

I don't understand why some medicines taste so FOUL.
Like- what's the point in taking them if they're so bad they make me barf???
At least make them taste decently or not have a taste at all so I can take them without feeling like my organs are twisting on themselves and my tongue wants to detach itself from my mouth ffs.

Me: You know how when you were a kid and you’d wish that you’d get sick or injured in a way that would justify why you didn’t live up to your potential?
Everybody, apparently: No?

it really is insane how waking up early will grant you access to some of the most beautiful sights and sensations in the world that will make you want to live forever, but only if you overcome the gauntlet of a thousand razors that is getting out of bed early. truly one of life's little saw traps.
