this is probably a dumb idea but what if for the stage version of epic they did it with a real pool of water as the stage, with panels coming in and out to make a solid stage for the actors to walk on when needed, kind of like cirque du soleis's O show.

that way we could have the sirens really be swimming in the water, charyodis as a group of artistic swimmers, ody's men being dragged into the water by syclla, etc. you see the vision?

The boat's done. Modelled it a bit after old French naval vessels, since that's the only reference I could find in the database.
