you were in a loveless marriage, it wasn’t how it was before. you met your husband John in an arranged marriage, you guys married for the sake of your father’s company. however you guys still had passionate sex and you genuinely felt like you were in love with him until lately he seems to be going out a lot. you check his card company and he’s been going to this hotel. you got curious so you decided to investigate it, hunt him down and if he was cheating on you, you would’ve confront him right there which lead you here stalking your husband at a hotel lounge.

“why the fuck am i doing here..stalking my fucking husband” you say while sipping a martini. you were sitting 4 tables away from him from the corner of the room and you see a tall women greet him. you grip your cup harder in anger. “hey pretty thing why are you here?” said the man wearing a tiger print button up. you size him and shoo him away but it seems like he couldn’t get the hint, instead he sat down. “i’m hoshi by the way..what’s you’re name pretty lady?” he asked bubbly. you roll your eyes and cross your legs “i’m y/n”. his face lights up ans starts mumbling your name “y/n…y/n..thats such a pretty name!” he exclaimed.

you quickly coved his mouth with your hands “shhh don’t say my name that loud!” while you were growing in fury, your hands were still on hoshi lips and he quickly covered his bulge with his hands. you look down at his bulge and quickly let go of him.

“sorry..its just you’re so pretty” he said nervously blushing. you were taken back, nobody has said that you in awhile and especially coming from a younger guy. “hoshi how old are you?” you asked sipping your martini. “i’m 22!” you quickly spit out your drink “you’re a child..i-‘m 25- i cant believe im stalking my husband and talking to a child” you say stressed. stalking your husband is one thing but a younger guy being into you? its another thing. “you have a husband!? wh-y are you here then?” he asked.

you tell him your whole marriage, how your husband has been sneaking around and that you haven’t got any physical attention from him from the last 2 years. hoshi was intensively listening and nodding. “how can a guy like your husband, marry somebody like you!” you shrug and said “thats life..my family wanted me to do it so i did for the sake of the father company which might i add i don’t run”. he sighs and says “your husband is lucky..you’re so gorgeous and smart” you laugh “that’s what you got from me? from the 2 hours we’ve been talking”. hoshi blushed and obviously looks embarrassed “w-well you know if you gave me a chance to get to know you better..i could list-“ you cut him off “1st of off i’m old, i’m married, and im stalking my husband” you say looking for your husband but you realize that he was gone. “i don’t mind your age..i actually like older women ” he says grinning.

you guys continue to talk and you forgot why you were even there. you guys would be laughing, grinning, and then back to his hotel room. “hmm you taste so good” he said gripping your waist making out with you in the hallway of his room. “oh shut up” you say rolling your eyes. hoshi grins and lifts you off your feet and throws you onto the bed. “are you ready?” he says as he takes off his shirt. he looked like a predator about to feast on his prey. you put your foot on his chest and pushes him back “before you do that, i need you to help me with something else..” you say opening your legs.

the next morning you wake up to him still being there, you silently dress and crawl out the door. as you were leaving you see your husband with the tall lady coming out of their room, they don’t see you. you roll your eyes and decide to go into his room again. you close the door and you see him yawning stretching on the bed. “oh! y/n you came back” he says excited like a little puppy. “well you know..i decided its probably best to stay here with you” you say sitting on the edge of the bed. his ears perks up “so..round 2?”

Autism Headcanons

I really like headcanoning characters as autistic, because often autistic people written by nt people are stereotypes (with the exception of Sherlock holmes) so seeing characters who unintentionally relatable to autistics is so important! I have a lot of reasons why I hc Walt Strickler and Newt Scamander as autistic, but maybe I'm just projecting. But look at the concepts! (Some of these may be Canon. Shh let me infodump)

Edward (Edward Scissorhands): Isolated man-made sweetheart with scissors for hands who is incredibly gentle but doesn't understand Society™️. He moves robotically, is mainly nonverbal, doesnt understand common social rules, such as the "if you found a briefcase full of money, what would you do?" Since Autistic people like me need very good reasons to follow rules, and Edward doesnt understand how giving your loved ones found money is "wrong". He uses his "disability" to channel his creativity in his gardening, hedge-trimming, and haircutting. But he was willing to give it all up just to fit in! I have seen many emotional movies, but this is truly the only one thst made me sob out loud, because of how much i could relate. Hes ME. also Tim Burton himself is at least speculated to be on the spectrum, and many see the movie as a whole as an allegory for autism. This doesnt mean that i believe the scissors THEMSELVES are a symbol for autism, because even if edward didnt have them he still exhibits very autistic traits.

Sherlock Holmes: genius detective who's neutral good, physically fights pedos, drinks respect women juice, gay-asexual, and does Crack in his spare time. At the time, nobody knew what autism was! But sherlock is so clearly autism-coded its hard to ignore. Im talking about every adaptation Ever. My first exposure to Sherlock Holmes was the BBC series (granted, i know its not necessarily the most well-written adaptation, but listen) and i was SHOOK at how autistic he was. Even in the novels hes percieved as keeping his things cluttered, but he has a purpose in his clutter, and organizes his thoughts. He goes off on tangents before going back to his original point. Basil of Baker Street, basically Sherlock Holmes in Disneys the Great Mouse Detective, VISIBLY STIMS ONSCREEN. anyway nobody needed convincing on that one but yeah.

Newt Scamander (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them): kind, soft wizard who keeps magical creatures in a briefcase. He's soft-spoken, drops eye-content mid conversation, and PURSUES A LIFE OF CONSERVING MAGICAL CREATURES. HES THE ONLY ONE OF HIS PROFESSION IN THE WORLD. ITS ALL RIGHT THERE.

Fiver (Watership Down): a runty, anxious rabbit with the power of prophecy. the theory of Fiver being autistic isnt originally mine (look through my reblogs) but i fully accept it. Now, its debatable whether autism is a Thing among animals or if it presents itself another way, but then again this is fiction. Where to begin with Fiver? Hes based off the Greek Myth of Cassandra, who was blessed with divination but cursed to never be believed. Growing Up With Autism. I cant explain it but you Autistic readers will understand. And simply look at his character!

Erik Destler (the Phantom of the Opera, Phantom): disfigured savant, expert illusionist, lives in the basement of an opera house. In Phantom by Susan Kay he's portrayed as a savant, and while not all savants are born that way, one out of ten autistics are also autistic savant. His hyperfixation on the macabre, his immense creative drive, its all there knock yourselves out.

Walt Strickler: a devious shapeshifting idiot with genius energy, who drops sick dad jokes, huge history nerd, a minority in his own country while at the same time belonging to no country. This might be just me projecting but I thought it was genius. There's also the widely accepted history theory that the Changeling Myth was based off early perceptions of Autism, and whether this suggests that all the Changelings in ToA are autistic is, I believe, false, since in Trollhunters, changelings are made, but autists are Born, not Made. But Strickler is by far my favorite to fixate on! He's such a good concept as an autistic character because he doesn't fall into the stereotypes that intentionally-written autists do. He's sassy, sarcastic, and is simply UNBEARABLE with puns. I view his Villainous Actions™️ of clicking the pen and sitting on tables as stimming or autistic habits, and his odd collection of books. Despite him not being human himself, he has a WILD fascination with human history and culture, which is a better hyperfixation for an autistic character than He Likes Trains and Math. Strickler also has the general Vibe of someone who's constantly holding back from going completely Feral and Rabid. Absolute autism energy

And that moment will appear Hisashi Midoriya (who is regular guy by his theory and not AFO) and will save everyone. Now fear this theory will be true. Hori pretty much debunked long ago the possebility for hisashi to be a normal office guy. He said that we, the readers WONT be dissapointed by "the reveal", so he will not be a nobody. He isnt a hero, because 1. If he was izuku wouldnt be able to shut up about him and 2. Why should a japanese hero work as such in america and not in his own home country? America already has way more heroes in their arsenal. And lets say for a moment hisashi is a normal guy, HOW is he supposed to return to japan, when the manga made clear that right now no country allows flights to or from japan, because its to dangerous? How is hisashi "with a fire quirk" supposed to return, if he cant fly or teleport home or whatever? How is it that he still hasnt tried to contact his family by calling them or at least send them a postcard to make sure they are safe? Hisashi is supposed to be in america and WHO was shown in his main base in new york when he was introduced to us for the first time? Thats right, AFO!

The only thing I agree with is that something will happen to inko (kidnapping and evtl. Making it look like as if she died), because afos spies are inside ua and one of them watched izuku and inko hug each other with a grin on his face and thinking something like "yeah, that way we can win". And WHO asked the aoyamas to bring inko to him (the 40 year old macallan) even BEFORE he asked for izuku (the 16 year old macallan)? Right, ALSO AFO!

Also right now, my crack theory is that the afo we see fighting in gunga isnt the real one but something like a clone (it would be a parallel to garaki having a clone too) and the true afo (hisashi) actually NEVER left america and still chills there in front of his computer and potatofied and ONLY in the last chapter, after afo (the clone) "died" and the battle is won, hisashi will return home and at first nothing looks suspicious, but the manga ends with showing us the holes inside his palms and only we readers will realize who he truly is, but neither izuku nor inko or someone else. Afo made everybody believe he is dead for good, so he can return home as hisashi and finally retire from his villain life like he once said he wants to. Crack I know, but I kinda like it.

HE WAS SCARED BC THE ANUK ITE WAS NEAR AND HE KNEW IT. HE SENSED IT. AS SOON AS HE TACKLED MASON , AARON SHOWED UP BESIDE THEM AND SWUNG A PIPE OR SUM WHERE MASONS FACE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE. he probably noticed his fear along with masons because of what he was saying and how hard he was shaking and sweating and . his voice cracking and . yeah. say what u want about theo but never say he's not perceptive. idk why i said that thats like one of the first things u learn ab the guy. core character trait. 

i need to talk about mason saying "and and it doesnt matter who forgets. i wont." because i know hes talking about liam. mason knows theo and liam are close now. in a way. liam is his best friend he knows why he was okay with mason leaving and being alone with theo. yeah sure he can handle himself but he knows liam sees theo's different now. masons not saying hes not. hes saying he's not going to let it go. that its something he cant erase no matter who he gets to trust him. BECAUSE HE KNOWS LIAM IS STARTING TO TRUST HIM AGAIN. (MAYBE EVEN REALIZES THAT THEO IS IS LIAMS ANCHOR) AND THIS IS WHY MASON HAVING THIS DEEP ROOTED FEAR AND HATRED FOR THEO IS SO BAD. theo knows thats his best friend!!!!!!!!! that no matter how theo acts now for years and years no matter how much he helps and sticks by liam, mason will never approve. because its him!!!!! and that fucking sucks. the CLOSEST PERSON TO LIAM besides scott!!!! literally like your boyfriends best friend telling you you'll never be good enough for them. that you will never be good. basically what happened. i can get worse tho. just a little bit.

reason why I dont trust the “i lift others up but nobody lifts me up” mentality anymore is part because it is kind of a nice guy ( tm) mentality.  

Before i get flamed just hear me out. This is not what i mean. What I mean is.. how do I explain it. Helping others but having hard time helping yourself and feeling upset that others wont do what you have done for them is a valid feeling. In fact one’s struggle such as this is very valid. But what I mean is.. the mentality that “I will do things for others so that others would do for me”. And that is kind of the problem. Now again, I get it that people struggle and they dont actually flat out want that, but they could wish for it subconsciously without truly acknowledging it. Some may, idk, build that idea (”I only look out for others and i do it for others beacuse thats who i am”) in their head because they are afraid of [appearing] selfish [so much] (or were abused to believe thinking any good for themselves is bad) they want to turn a blind eye to any wish they have for themselves to the point they want to appear only as a savior who doesnt think about themselves and kind of lie to themselves about their deep desires, by turning their wish to be helped into “I want to help others” idea.

If you helped others because you want to and because it makes you happy, then.. when you are struggling Why is the first feeling that is the source of your negative emotions - is the thought that the people you helped didnt go to same lengths for you? Maybe that means you dont [just] help because you enjoy it.

being upset that you spent all energy on others and when you need someone you dont get anything is valid and its a big struggle. But .. on the other hand, what about the people [you] helped? 

help itself is an act of [aiding] someone [in need]. Helping literally means helping someone who is [struggling], who [cant] defend themselves. Some people literally [use] help and make themselves happier and comfortable true. But some people get help because they have no hope left. Some people get help because they cant get out. Because they suffer from unfairness and mistreatment and got the worst from life, or because they are not abled enough to get the bare minimum. 

And then , You come in because helping others is your thing. And you give those people the bare minimum they need because you Love Helping others. They didnt ask for you specifically, they didnt complain, it was entirely Your choice to help because you said you love doing it.

And they are thankful because you showed them kindness.

But then you feel upset and claim they used you.

Imagine though. You are disabled, you have been struggling, you cant really do much because your life is.. greatly limited. And then someone appears and does something to you - their act of kindness. You battled your illness or disbility your entire life and you will keep doing it, and one random gesture of kindness was like a small drop compared of the ocean of issues you have, but it was very kind of them anyway and you are thankful anyway.

..and then, that person says You are a monster, you dont care, you make them suffer because You didnt do same for them. They claimed they did So much for you.

You feel your soul crack because you never asked them to come into your life in first place, it was Them. They said they did it bc they wanted to. You cant move, you cant do things because you are disabled or because you have an illness that prevents you from doing things you always wished you could do but cant do. And that someone blames You for not doing things in return for them. They decided for you who you are and said that you didnt care about them, and more lies about you. They blamed their suffering on you: A person (you) whose disability or struggle was something out of Your control. 

That person wasnt even there for the most part of your suffering and pain, the lifetime you spent alone battling your illnesses, traumas, crises, but they did One thing and claimed ALL credit for it, and got mad you did nothing in return.

The person wants to help others because of their trauma and issues. be it not feeling good enough, or not wanting others to go throug what they have. No matter the intention, thats still unhealthy. But person says “I cant do any other way, because loving myself is hard!” or “Its easier said than done” and yes. I agree its hard. But it doesnt negate the fact that your willingness to throw yourself into fire “for others” (when in reality it is not for others but bc you avoid harder path) will make you even more bitter and will make your life harder. What’s the difference in terms of suffering anyway: enjoying self-satisfaction in helping others too much and ending up struggling alone, or hating yourself for having to work on yourself when you dont want to love yourself and over time getting help you needed? Different paths, same amount of struggle. Except the former is just more enticing and.. easier.

I hate it how popular it is to excuse people who actively choose to do “easier” path because they have trauma and struggle. How much is it excused to use others to clear one’s name and blame others later on. How okay it is to disregard a person’s feelings - the one one uses to feed into their savior complex.

Helping someone who was hurting and in such pain just to later on insult them and what they went through just because you go through hard time, using their struggle as your sob story and making the person feel like they were nothing, or worse, a monster for being in need for help.

Its not really a vent or personal story. But it is something scratching on my chest. Im not saying all people who help others are bad. There are people who dont do that when they help others. There are people pleasers who dont do that stuff. What Im saying is, there are some people who are that way. Who say and think they are helping and who say all sorts of stuff. But they use others, act entitled, and dont look into what others need or go through. Those people just “help others” because they just want to.. idk. Do good i guess. But they dont have regard for anyone they ‘help’ or dont do their homework and dont look into what others need, and also treat people like cardboard, only look ing at their own feeling. Demonize others. 

..and if you care about them and want them happy, they get angry at you and say hurtful stuff, make up lies that you dont care or “dont actually help” them when you simply cant.  They insist you are a ..thing. that doesnt care or wants them happy, but when you say you want them happy and loved, they yell at you to shut up. They want to help people but treat them like ‘cowardly’ ‘shallow’ ‘evil’ ‘ forgetful’ and themselves as above them. They decide everything for you and dont let you do much and then blame you for not being enough.

“What’s your problem?” Emory leapt up from the couch and puffed out their chest. “Your attitude is rancid as hell tonight. I don’t know why you’re being such a brat about all this.”

His brow twitched and he turned to face them. “A brat? How am I being a brat?”

“You think I can’t see you over there sulking? Not to mention, I’ve heard quite a few scoffs from you tonight.”

“It’s allergy season,” he sniffed, crossing his arms and averting his gaze.

“See! Bratty! You’re being a brat!”

“Well, pardon me for being frustrated, Torres.”

“About what?” they threw their hands up in exasperation. “Why the hell are you frustrated when I’m the one dealing with all this?”

“You wanna know why I’m frustrated? I’m frustrated because I’ve sat on that exact same couch and had the exact same conversation, only I didn’t leave with a game plan. I cant even talk about Confrontation because everything out there advises against it for me! I don’t even think that’s an option! Not to mention, you have an entire manual dedicated to navigating your Vice, and you even get a nice little grade-school analogy to help you understand the wretched fucking beast writhing inside of you! That all just makes me so fucking sick, it’s unreal!”

Gen extended her hand cautiously, and her voice was quiet, but firm. “Danny…”

Emory tossed their head back with a single, pointed, “Hah!” then drove their heel against the floor with an intimidating stomp, rattling the pottery on the shelves. “Do you hear yourself? You totally are a brat! I’m surprised you haven’t thrown a tantrum yet, you overgrown toddler!” They stomped around in a circle, throwing their hands up as they mockingly cried out, “Wah-wah, it’s just not fair!”

“It’s not fair, Torres!”

They turned and aggressively threw their arms up in exasperation. “None of this is fair! Nothing about me having a Vice is fair!” they laughed incredulously.

“Alright, sure! Take the way you feel about your Vice, add a miserable layer of hopelessness to it all, and that's how I feel! No, Torres, it’s not fair to have a Vice, but at least you know what’s going on!” He clutched his head in desperation and forced a pained laugh. “I haven’t had any help! The only thing they can tell me is that I’ve got a death sentence and I’m on a timer! I’m all alone! Nobody understands it, Torres. Not the experts, not Gen, and certainly not me!”

“Danny.” Gen’s voice was stern.

“How is any of that my fault?” Emory cried out, their voice cracking in frustration. They stomped toward him, and Danny’s chest tightened in fear as he saw faint wisps of smoke escaping from their bared fangs. “Why the fuck are you getting mad at me for something that’s out of everyone’s control? Shouldn’t your frustrations make you compassionate? We’re all struggling, Danny!” Emory grabbed at his shirt and yanked him down to their level. “I can’t believe you made this all about you,” they spat. “But since you wanna be in the spotlight so bad…if this goes wrong, it’s all your fault.”

i've had this conversation scripted out for a while now (it's still a WIP), but it ended differently in my first iteration with danny triggering an event, rather than emory. the things danny said weren't necessarily "wrong" or "bad", it was mostly just poor timing, a lack of self-awareness, and bad delivery. he didn't mean anything bad by it, and he meant everything he said, and that's why i think emory having an event here really helps the gremlin in danny's brain rack up the guilt lol it gives his vice good ammo for convincing him he's a selfish jackass down the line

it followed a conversation between gen, rami, and emory that outlined their "game plan" for addressing emory's vice that's going a bit haywire. up until this point we really haven't seen much about danny's vice. it's understood that it gives him stomachaches and it's being "monitored" by gen to the best of her ability, but outside of that, it seems fairly harmless. emory's vice is visibly active and kinda becomes center focus ever since they're introduced, which makes danny feel like his struggles are being undermined/devalued, especially now that he's watching rami and gen devote quite a bit of time and energy to it all. it's the whole thing about "suffering isn't a competition" danny just didn't get the memo lol so him being present for this conversation where it's very clear emory is going to get the help they need because it's actually OUT there in the first place snaps a couple wires in his brain.

took a lot of inspiration for this exchange (among a LOT of other things) from the way my brain worked when i was younger. very much had a "woe is me" mentality thinking no one "understood me" LMAO it was really easy to convince myself (especially in times of isolation) that i was alone, when in reality i never was. i've since learned how much my loved ones care for me, so you'll have to read and see if danny realizes it too :^) jk i actually gotta fuckin write all this shit first HAH

25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?

I HAVE SO MANY lmao but my favorite, by far, is that Gen has a leopard gecko named stinky. i think she's maybe mentioned once as a diversion tactic by danny, but outside of that she has no bearing on the story. but she is canon and does exist. and she's perfect.

28. Who is the most delightful character you’ve ever written? Why?

definitely emory...i don't really have to think when i write them, they just say whatever's on my mind or respond however i would with lowered inhibitions lol i also like to write them saying spoonerisms and botched idioms. i think emory's really charming in their own little goblin way and i love them very much ghdslkfs

Now that I'm better defining my framework for bringing Capitalist mindsets into a theological debate about 'good' and 'evil', I want to take a minute to cover my ass on a potentially perceived fallacy to my argument, which might take me some time to fully deconstruct why I'm not committing certain fallacies.

I think that while we cant tell the exact time of collapse before it happens, it is usually very easy to see things that we call "signs of weakness", or "cracks in the foundation" of a lifespan.

Going to move this argument into a story now, because I'm comfortable with my more mathy assumptions above:

When seeing signs of imminent collapse in a building full of people, no sensible person could convince another that they can identify the exact millisecond of the collapse.

However, and bear with me we're almost done-- it is also true that no sensible person would deny that a problem, like a building collapse, should be left alone solely on the basis that it is already doomed, and that we dont know when its doomed.

Nope, we should evacuate those buildings. Cover them with tape. Probably set up a whole team of trained individuals who can help that building fall in a manner which will minimize damage around.

What I just said above makes sense, so it follows logically that if signs of a crack in the foundation of capitalism are detected, we should treat it like a building doomed to collapse, and not encourage more overall social damage by ignoring the issue.

It was a long rough week, you were absolutely exhausted, you could barely stand, your knees wobbled as you finally arrived home, everyday this week has been hell between work using you to cover everyone and do everything, and personal family drama you had to attend too, you were glad to finally be home, safe, quiet, where nothing was expected of you, you could finally recharge.

Kicking your shoes off and tossing your bag and jacket aside to deal with later.

As you shamble to your bedroom, eager to swap your work clothes to something less constricting, you tap away on your phone, ordering dinner, you were too tired to cook anyway.

In your bedroom, you were quick to ditch your uniform in replacement for an over sized shirt and a pair of pajama pants.

Removing your bra felt like a weight has been lifted, as you slip on your pajamas you felt 100 pounds lighter, you flop down on your bed, barely clinging to being awake, as you were about to doze off, your phone blares to life with its loud ringtone, you groan in frustration, you force your body to get up and dig for your phone in your pants pocket, you miss the call by a second, before you could check who it was it buzzes again, you nearly drop the phone, startled, you fumble with the gadget, quickly answering the call, assuming it was your incompetent coworkers needing a question asked.

Clearly embarrassed you try your best to squirm out of your predicament, the demon only cackles at your actions

It was amazing how you were still able to order take out with all the nonsense beetlejuice did to the delivery guys, but it just goes to show that it's all about money, and let's be honest, nobody is gonna believe them, yeah sure, a zombie looking guy took the pizza and then turned into a pile of snakes.

Movie night was the same as always, Beej successfully snuggling up close with an arm around your shoulder, ever since the change of seasons he found you no longer took the lead on getting up close and personal, meaning he had to take initiative, not that he minded, since regardless of the temperature, you didnt mind him cuddling up, which was nice, you were so warm to the touch, he adored it.

Movie night was always a blast with the demon, yes you've seen this horror films 100 times, but watching them with Beej always made them more lively, his enthusiasm was so contagious. But as much fun as the evening together was you were officially out of energy, you tired in vain to keep awake, last movie night you dozed off midway through you delt with merciless teasing for a week, but all your effort was for not as you felt yourself slip into dreamland.

"Alright Doll what's up next in our-" the demon finally noticed you were out, he frowns, yeah it was cute, and sexy when you fell asleep on him, but it was really becoming kind of a pain on how hard you worked and how much it drained you, breathers are delicate, and besides he wanted to spend some real legit alone time with you.

The demon snaps his fingers and the two of you reappear in your bedroom, you being tucked into your bed, beej floats up beside you in a lounging position.

The ghoul stares at you, watching you naturally settle into a deep sleep, once a few moments have past and beetlejuice was sure you were out cold, he leans back placing his hands behind his head and let's out a deep sigh.

"Ya know doll, the other week I was in the netherworld for business, bumped into an old pal, buddy was going on and on about this demon he was banging, and boy, the look on his face when I told him I was banging a hot little breather, man, fucker was jealous, I mean we arent technically banging, yet." He whispered

This was a habit of Bj's chatting to you when you were asleep, he didnt need to sleep, so this was a nice way to pass the time.

"I showed him that photo of us lyds took, ya know the one, you were sitting on the couch playing with you phone and I had my head on your lap? Yeah, I keep it in my wallet, hell, it's the only thing in there" he snickers

You mumble something unintelligible, Beej hums in response

You grumble in response

"Oh, yeah I know I told ya a sandworm ate her, shes back, it's a long story" he huffs with a scowl.

"Yeah she was saying how theres no point of me tricking another breather for a green card to live again, and I should leave you alone, fuck her, ya know, I dont need to trick ya for a green card, i know you're head over heels for me babes, and once you finally admit you love me and we fuck around for a bit, then I'll pop the question." He trails off looking in your direction, your were laying on your side facing the demon, as if you were awake listening to his every word, the demon sighs, staring at you sleeping form, god slash satan  he had no idea what he did to deserve you, his sweet caring breather. He could always come back to you, you were all his, you just didnt know it yet, and that was fine, for now, soon he'll get you to confess your undying love.

"What would I do without our little chats" he sighs, his eyes fixated on you, a purple hue begins to creep into his hair, he sighs again

"The only time I can be honest with ya huh babes?"

You mumble in response

"Its not like I dont WANT to be honest with ya, its just, come on, you gonna believe me? A demon from hell falling head over heels for a sweet little breather? I can barely believe it" he stares at you, his hair now completely purple.

How I feel about this character:

it is no secret. i enjoy a tortured skrunkly. the tragic hero trope is literally SO FUN in EVERY PIECE OF MEDIA. i cant get enough of it. im not like one of those "omg soft uwu bean just needs some love and then he'll be good" type of people about him though. he deserves what he gets. he deserves this fate. but i love him for that. such an interesting and dynamic character type. pls give me more characters who are made evil while trying to set themselves on the path of a hero.

dark choco and pomegranate. oh my god i love their dynamic and how they absolutely fucking hate each other. and how theyre so different AND alike at the same time. dark choco does what he does because he believes it is the only path for him. pomegranate does what she does because she is just. like that. but they both have a common goal, and they both believe this to be their ultimate destiny. they both feel as though they dont have a choice, but the difference between them is that one is reluctant and one is accepting of that notion. ALSO THE FACT THAT BOTH OF THEM LAID WASTE TO THEIR OWN HOMES??? THERES SO MANY CINEMATIC PARALLELS BETWEEN THESE TWO AND GAHHH ITS SO INTERESTING TO ME. My unpopular opinion about this character:

ok. ok here it is. heres the bombshell:

i dont think he should be redeemed.

like, i wouldnt mind a redemption. in fact, i think it would be fitting for him to get a redemption. all it would take is a crack in the armor of his demeanor. just one doubt that will spiderweb into a full-blown character arc of betrayal against his current team.

i just dont think he should have a full 180 in terms of turn around. a simple 90 would suit him better. what that means to me is that yes, he does ultimately abandon the evil side, but he also doesnt join the good side. this dudes committed war crimes against his own people, and tried to kill his dad TWICE NOW. having him just... switch to being a beacon of goodness would feel so unsatisfying. i think he should perceive the forks in the road, but i think he should abandon the road altogether. have him leave to go off on his own, let him find peace of mind away from the fight. his entire life has been a battle against his foes, his father, and himself. let him rest.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon:

so, milk cookie. i love that dude so much. and i absolutely adore that he totally has a big fat hero crush on dark choco. i mean of course its one-sided as fuck but like. awww. one side of me loves the idea of milk having a "don't meet your heroes" moment and being absolutely sickened at learning of his hero's actions. angst moment. but the other half of me would love it if milk was kind to him regardless of that. like i just want their friendship to be "why is this guy following me around is he going to mug me" and "omg let me get the door for you!! watch out for that puddle!!!!!!!! i will buy you lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

There is always the idea that villains need to be punished for what they did but... when you see someone like Shigaraki, what could be more of a punishment than what he suffered? And more than that, how could the society jugde him when they are for a big part responsable of what he has become? When Shigaraki says that he can't forgive anyone, I can't help but agree: how could he forgive when nobody recognise they have wronged him, when they don't admit he is THEIR victim?

First, this role is literally forced on him by people around him.

Even when he was 5 years old, he wasnt allowed to be the person he wants to be. He wanted to be a hero but his father punished him for it.

After his family’s tragic death, he became a tool of manipulative, selfish man. AFO literally groomed him to be force of destruction, he made him believe that this is the only way for him.

AFO literally punished Shigaraki when he cried and hold his feelings (calling him pathetic to make him feel guilty for being a disappointing is also punihsment too) and praised him when he killed people.

Then, every hero and villain he met dehumanized him again and again. For everyone, Shigaraki is someone who enjoys from destruction, empty, cruel guy, he is not even a person. Again and again, Shigaraki is not allowed to be his own person.

Heroes dont listen to him cause Shigaraki has to be bad guy so that heroes can be good guys. If Shigaraki is monster, they can justify their violence. This is how villains are treated in society. And Shigaraki is one of the biggest examples of it. Even though, heroes have many proofs to believe that Shigaraki is victim.

Everyone around Shigaraki already decided the role Shigaraki play for him, his life, his narrative is always controlled by others. He himself even believes that he is monster cause everyone around him says so.

Not only this role forced on him but also his biggest motivation and desire literally relate to what happened to him.

Shigaraki’s biggest motivation is comes from his pain, death of his family, like how he will never feel okay. This is why he is doing what he is doing cause he literally have no idea how to handle his pain.

Shigaraki’s life is full of pain. He was traumatized againd and again. He was groomed in very unstable and dangerous environment. Treated as monster that needs to be destroyed. When he finally a little far away from his abuser AFO, he still did what he wants him to do and eventually came back to him to surgery, he almost loose his humanity and his will.

And Shigaraki’s biggest desire is freedom cause his life and his choices taken away from him. Shigaraki again and again chose freedom cause he doesnt want the role everyone forced on him. He feels trapped and full of anger cause he is completely not okay with his current life.

Shigaraki is trapped in cycle of abuse.

Step 1;

He holds his negative feelings inside of him, until he reaches his breaking point. He hold himself cause he hasnt taught how to handle those emotions healthy way.

Step 2;

He reaches his breaking point and lashing his feeling out to other people. Killing them, harming them, destroy things etc. He is lashing out cause thats how he has been taught. After lashing out, he somehow reliefs a little and feel empty.

Step 3;

After remember what he did to others, he feels exteremely guilty and starts punishing himself. He is harming himself, thats the way of Shigaraki punishing himself. Punishment is always part of Shigaraki’s character.

Step 4;

Harming himself eventually led him to feel unfair and he starts to feel angry again, he hold those feelings so basically we returned back to step 1, again.

Shigaraki is literally trapped with this cycle and cant get rid of it. This is why he almost always contracting with himself.

First, someone/something hurts him and Shigaraki fights back,

he fights back to get rid of this cycle cause he wants this pain to be over. He wants freedom thats why he rejects giving his will to AFO, this is why he get rid of hands.

But eventually, he still thanking AFO, doing what he wants

and taking hands with him again cause he doesnt believe he deserves freedom.

Basically, Shigaraki wants freedom, he wants to be saved but he cant fight for his freedom cause he himself believes he doesnt deserves to be saved, to feel okay. This is the biggest proof of that he feels exteremly guilty from what he did/does.

He literally escapes from cage to another cage, in this picture.

Shigaraki is trying to escape from his cage but he doesnt believe he deserves to feel good, this is why he turns back to the cage. Thats the reason he accept the surgery of Ujiko. So basically, his mindset is already like a prison and it harms him a lot. And as long as he believes he doesnt deserve anytihng good, he cant get out that prison. But Shigaraki feels guilty, this is why he believes that. Shigaraki doesnt even see himself as victim cause noone else does.

This is why Shigaraki cant get out of this cycle, this prison and this is why it so important that someone reaching out to him. He is a victim, a person and he needs to be seen as like that by someone.

And Shigaraki’s story is all about how different his life would be, if only someone reach out to him. Again and again, theme of his story is there were people who could’ve helped him but they still didnt do anything for him. Shigaraki can be saved but everyone already believes that he is irredemable, they wont even try to reach out to him.

How can Shigaraki forgive those people when they constantly turned a blind eye to him?

Even when Shigaraki show his true face to them, trying to talk and reach out to them, they still ignored him. Shigaraki is trying to explain himself to heroes cause he still waits for heroes to save him in his deep.

The biggest proof of that there is a hope for Shigaraki is that despite his background, the way he treats league and he tries to break this cycle. The way Shigaraki treats his comprades literally turned league to found family for people like them. Shigaraki was raised to destroy but he is the reason that people in league are slowly healing from their trauma. He also fight against the unfair society that let them fall at first place.

Shigaraki is blowback of society. Though, AFO would kidnap Shigaraki anyway but he is still failure of heroes. If Allmight didnt make society ignorance, people wouldnt ignore Shigaraki. If society was designed to rehabilite villains, then they would understand his victim and try to reach out to him. They could’ve do that easily in USJ arc. If Nana never abandoned his son or Gran Torino and Allmight tried to check him out, AFO wouldnt capture Tenko. etc etc etc. Society and heroes failed Shigaraki and let him fall from the cracks of society

 If Shigaraki is victim of society, heroes, then, society,heroes should take responsibilty for the victims, not just destroying them.

And Shigaraki isnt just blowback of society, his actions also waking people up. Story made it clear, society is not good the way it is and heroes dont even try to change it. Yeah, destruction isnt really solution and murder is bad but at least, Shigaraki’s actions will change things. Society wil start to change for better cause Shigaraki, the shadow of society is calling them out.

And again;

if society is the one who is responsible for Shigaraki became who he is, then how they can have a right to not forgive him?

(Though, Deku doesnt really know things here but hope, he will eventually understand.)

The one who made a choice wasnt really Shigaraki, it was people around him. First, he was outcasted and became their victim. Then, they forced a role for him. When he played his role, they punished him for it. Shigaraki was put in an impossible sitution and he was expected to handle that sitution. Who is the one really at fault here?

Everyone blames Shigaraki cause thats easiest way. Even though, Shigaraki didnt have much choices in his life but somehow its still his fault and the ones who could’ve helped him, the one who can help him chose to not help have a right to not forgive him.

So basically;

1-

Society and heroes already failed Shigaraki and directly responsible from his fall. There is something they could do, there is something they still can do about Shigaraki but they constantly choosing to dehumanize him.

2-

Shigaraki constantly fights against the people who dehumanize him for his humanity. At least, he is doing his best cause he doesnt want to stay like this.

3-

He is trying to change things to break this broken cycle, both for himself and in his deep, society can be better place for people like him, victims, outcasts.

There is no point of killing Shigaraki since society creates its own villains, then they would create another Shigaraki anyway.

4-

Shigaraki already feels exteremely guilty from what he does. (This is the reason he is so suicidal cause he sees no worth about his life.)

5-

Shigaraki’ s life is full of pain and trauma. He is already treated as monster in his current sitution.

So whats the point of killing him or sending him the place like Tartarus? When society is the one responsible for him the way he is? When he already feels guilty? When he already live his life like a prisoner? When he already have a life full of pain and treated as thing? There is literally no point here.

So what i am hoping is in the end;

He should live cause he deserves to healing and living his life as an invidual. He should be in a place more like mental hospital cause he has severe mental illness and he definitely needs help. He also needs/deserves to live in healthy environment so he can finally heal. Even in the end, if he stays in prison, prison should be pretty human place. It would be better, if he is with with league cause those people are healing when they are together.

Though, i still hate the idea of him being in prison, even though he killed many people cause his life is already like a prison but i dont know author would do that.

Also, i also believe that more than Shigaraki, society is the one that owes him apology, not really other way around. Since he is their victim. Though he is really kind and forgiving person in deep, he might forgive them but i dont want what happenned to him to be ignored so i truly hope heroes, society, story pays him well cause its just so sad and unfair. He deserves better.

Also, i truly believe Shigaraki can help Deku and heroes a lot about outcasts since he can reach out to people who wasnt saved by heroes. So if they work together, Deku can be a hero who saves everyone and Shigaraki’s dream of becoming hero can happen since he is helping outcasts. Also this can be another a way of paying his crimes too.

Shigaraki would willing to do this cause all he wants is better society, just like Deku, in his deep. And also his biggest desire is to be an invidual. To be the person who he wants to be. He still wants to be a hero cause in his deep, he cares about greater good too.

Shigaraki is always a character who is meant to be saved and there is a reason that he is parallel with Deku. I hope he also gets the happy ending he truly deserves. We will see. It kinda became messy post cause i am kinda tired. Well, just my opinions, :))).

I also have this one scene in mind where iroh and older!sokka have a talk and iroh finds himself relieved that zuko grew up to be a good firelord and an even better person if he were to believe the other man's stories (he's just thankful that the joke about being prison buddies was just that, a joke).

zuko begrudgingly ends up respecting older!sokka after getting trounced in a sparring session with the man despite his use of dual dao and firebending.

at some point they have a heart-to-heart about zuko and his honor. and, just maybe, older!sokka tried nudging zuko towards the right path earlier than fate originally planned. just maybe. but nobody would be able to tell except himself anyway.

hjbjhbjj I WAS VERY EXCITED FOR A MAKI CHAPTER

ngl i feel a bit let down how quickly Ogi got her but i’m hoping this isn’t the end of that fight. I’m also kinda bad at reading action in manga so i’m not really sure what happened I JUST WANT HER TO GET UP. Also cant believe she was in the same room as Naoya n didnt crack him like a glowstick, WHEN WILL WE GET OUR RIGHTS

But also there was so much i loved about it aaaa

1. It’s a Maki chapter

2. I love the whole bit with Megumi n Maki talking about Megumi becoming a zenin clan head. I like how Maki is v much taking charge of the situation, like Megumi doesn’t want it but he’s doing it because he trusts her to maneuver them in the best situation zenin wise. It honestly gave me a lot of hope for Maki becoming clan leader like, Megumi is SUPER against the idea of him being the leader and is only doing it because they need an in and Maki doesn’t think they are in the right spot for her to take the lead (which, she’s right, others are already kicking up a fuss about it being Megumi, Maki would stand no chance cuz nobody respects her as a sorcerer, n also she doesn’t have Gojo protection like Megumi does, makes her an easier target). Like to me it really felt like she was basically telling Megumi to keep her seat warm until she can take it. Though at this point....i feel like zenin clan as a whole should just be thrown out lmaooo Maki get their asses.

The relationship between Maki and Mai was what first really gripped me in JJK. I love good sibling dynamics and they are actually remarkably rare in anime. Like think about it, most anime siblings either have a weirdly sexualized relationship, are weirdly distant like acquaintances and not siblings, the older sibling acts as a parent to younger or they just hate each others guts beyond measure. Like, siblinghood is such a close and special bond, one of the closest ones we’ll ever have in our life. Growing up together does that to people and siblings can be their rawest and weirdest around each other and they can care about each other immensely and they can still be 100% ready to throw down on moments notice just cuz one did something mildly annoying. Honestly, for one of the closest relationships a human can have, we do a remarkably poor job of showcasing it. Jjk comes very close to what I want out of siblings. This is why i love Choso so much, this is why i love Maki and Mai so much. This feeling of closeness and care for each other and ‘you might be a huge bitch but you are MY huge bitch’. The fact that Maki doesn’t want to take over and remake the zenin clan just for herself but for her sister too, the fact that Mai v much seems to be one of her core reasons for doing so I’m just ;-; i’m emotional about well written siblings okay. N Maki n Mai have such a complex relationship god that twitter thread REALLY made me hope we’ll see them have a proper conversation eventually and that they’ll team up and slowly figure out how to live with each other and that it will be a long road to be okay with each other again because they had hurt each other, but its a road they can travel together.

And then they can break all of zenin men like glowsticks together

Anyway idk will the next chapter be the continuation of the fight cuz like that CANT be all, no way, but i’m looking forward to it!

Also we got to see Maki’s arms scars i liked that uwu shes so badass

Eiffel and minkowski, right? Start pretty standard for wacky hijinks space "comedy" and then turn into one of the most soulful friendships ive ever seen that makes me cry just by thinking abt. Like they care about each other and TRUST each other so SO much, the way eiffel pulls her out of those moments wher the situation absolutely surpasses her by making her laugh (making her laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), the WAY that at his absolute worst situation in mayday her memory is the FIRST thing that appears on his mind... on the other hand the fact that what eiffel thinks is minkowski's opinion on him is So Low never fails to break my heart bc its Not True at all..... hes So important to her im gonna scream. (The fact that she's called him eiffel much more than officer and also doug many Many times than him calling her renée also goes hand in hand w/ this and believe me i could talk HOURS about their relationship and how they call each other reflect that but i rly need to study after finishing ths...)

The scene where hes back in the hephaestus doing silent work and minkowski goes to him ans hugs him so tight he cant breath and then the exchange of "the entire universe will freeze before you're not the commander of the hephaestus" "thats.. kind of gallant, in a crude horrible way" lives in my MIND RENT FREE!!!! RENT FREE I TELL YOU

Also i talk abt friendship cuz thats what canon gave us and it is Such a beautiful friendship, that being said they're my top 1 otp of everything ever and i think they should kiss u_u

honestly i think infinity train should be up there with over the garden wall as those pieces of animated media that you watch in a few hours and then never stop thinking abt it the rest of your life, like Sure infinity train is much lighter than otgw (at least the first season, and also overall aesthetic) but its still a little gem.... the three stories of it are so good, i watched it a couple of months ago but soon ill need a rewatch bc i love it ;_; ;o;
