You know that post I reblogged a while back talking about the difference between being a good artist and being a good comic artist? Dude -- Javier Rodriguez in Absolute Martian Manhunter is clearly an honest to god master of both

Seriously, like what the hell. This panel composition? These colors? And don't get me started on the carefully curated contrast between overstimulating scenes like this one and the more traditional panel composition he uses for everyday stuff. It's honestly a little mindblowing how well he utilizes this medium to the fullest
