I tried writing a fic for this au three different times but I was never able to finish it. I figured just posting information in pieces and working on the plot as I go would be easier. So here it is!

Royal Jonathan Headcanons

Writer's note: Not even joking, it's 2am as I write this, and the idea just struck my mind. I might make a drabble oit of this I love it a lot.

Prince!Jonathan, who went through rigorous knightly training and courtly manners. With all that paid off, JoJo becomes a skilled swordsman, and his proficiency in combat is matched only by his sense of fairness on the battlefield. Alongside that, his interactions with other nobles are marked by politeness and sincerity.

Prince!Jonathan, at a young age, participated in fence tourements. His father always wanted to show off his sons skills and engage in friendly competition with other knights.

Prince!Jonathan is the type of guy who has a special connection with animals. After a long day of work, JoJo is always seen surrounded by loyal hounds. Perhaps even seen sometimes by the forest near the realm surrounded by wildlife. He's having his Snow White moment.

Prince!Jonathan can always resolve conflict quickly due to his skills through open communication and compromise. His genuine nature earns him friends across different kingdoms. Which in favor of him can create new alliances.

Prince!Jonathan embodies the essence of chivalry. JoJo leads by example, always putting honor and justice at the forefront of his decisions.

Prince!Jonathan delivering inspirational speeches during advisory, rallying his subjects with messages of unity and resilience. His words resonate, instilling hope and courage in the hearts of the kingdom's inhabitants. Could honestly use this to his advantage tho.

Prince!Jonathan, who surprisingly got a lot of scrutiny from his father for dating Erina, since she isn't of status and was a young lady that he came across while she was selling her crops at the market. JoJo defended her and swore that he won't trade Erina for anything else.

Speaking of that, Jonathan establishes charitable initiatives, ensuring that the less fortunate in the kingdom receive aid and support. Though King George Joestar is so stuck up in his own right, JoJo wants to prove him wrong.

Prince!Jonathan's noble deeds and unwavering sense of justice become the stuff of legends, creating a lasting legacy that echoes through the annals of the kingdom's history.

At your side pt2

Risotto watched you as you leaned on the side of the carriage, a melancholy expression plastered on your face as you stared vacantly at the window. After what seemed like an eternity you looked at Risotto and spoke.

“I don’t understand, who would have killed Isaac? Why? Every moment I keep asking myself that question with no answer” you asked in a mutter.

“I don’t know the answer but there could have been a great many reasons but I don’t think you should worry yourself about that, I’m sure it won’t take too long for the case to be solved” he assured you, yet it did little to do so.

You were at your most vulnerable. The first person you had fallen in love with was violently murdered and you were now forced to go to a kingdom you knew nothing about as a political prisoner. For the first time in your life fear and grief consumed you. You were paranoid that something horrible could happen at any moment.

“What if whoever murdered Isaac intends to kill me as well? What if Isaac’s family believes that my family is behind his murder and prosecutes me?” you asked, your breathing became labored. You couldn’t handle the stress. Risotto took your hand in his. Your eyes widened in shock, not once had he ever touched you.

“(Y/n), I am your bodyguard. It’s my sworn duty to protect you” he told you as he looked straight into your eyes. A deep exhale left your lips.

"I know, it's just… with all that's happened I don't know what to think" you explained.

As you and Risotto walked into the castle he kept close to you. Shoulder to shoulder you both walked to the throne room, more and more guards followed behind and he could see the visible concern on your face.

Finally you two reached the throne room to see Isaac's parents sitting upon their throne.

"I hope your journey had no issues princess (Y/n)?" The queen asked. You bowed to her.

"Not at all, thank you for asking" you replied, sweating profusely, your breath labored.

"You do not sound well, are you perhaps sick?" The Queen asked you once more, concern laced her voice. You were about to respond before Risotto spoke.

"The past few weeks have been a strain on her highness. Perhaps you should let her rest before you start asking more questions" he spoke coldly.

The royals were shocked by how he spoke to them but pardoned it. The travel would have been laborious. They quickly ushered their servants to quickly guide you to your room. You entered and laid flat on the bed. They then tried to guide Risotto to another room but he refused.

“I shall sleep in the next room, I do not care about any other arrangement” he hissed, they scurried off instantly. He knocked on your door.

“Risotto?” You asked.

“Yes” he replied.

“Come in” you told him and he did.

“You shouldn't have entered til after I inspected the room” he told you.

“Why?” You asked.

“This room could very well be a trap” he warned you as he started inspecting objects and moving furniture.

“How so?” You asked, worry growing in your voice.

“They could have poisoned the water in that jug, had a bear trap under those blankets or even have hidden passages” he told you in a stoic tone. You carefully shuffled off the bed and pulled off the blankets to check, luckily there was nothing.

Weeks had passed and the king and queen assured you that they would not harm you. They could see you had no malice intent. However you were not to leave the castle as they feared that the public consensus was not the same as there's.

It drove stir crazy, you hated being trapped inside the castle walls.

‘How much longer would this last?’ you thought to yourself. Staring out the window towards the moon.

‘I have to see him’ you thought with a broken heart. So you grabbed your shawl and carefully navigated the castle, avoiding the guards. The royal cemetery had to be close.

You walked for what seemed like forever until you found the cemetery. Your gut twisted, telling you desperately to turn back but your need to see him pushed you further until you were at his grave. Your knees crashed into the dirt as you embraced the headstone of his grave.

“Issac my love, taken away too soon!” you burst into tears.

“For what cruel demon would do this to you” you continued deliriously. So lost in grief you sobbed until you heard steps approach.

“I'm sorry, I had to see him. I promise I won't leave the castle grounds again” you pleaded as you turned around expecting a guard only for it to be Risotto.

“Risotto…” you muttered his name as you felt your heart race. Something was off but you didn't know what. He took a step forward and instinctively you crawled back.

“(Y/n) you have grieved for so long now, you must put it to rest” he told you.

“Risotto my heart bleeds as if someone had put a knife through it, every waking moment is agony. The one time I found love it was taken from me immediately” you wept as you stood to your feet.

“You barely knew him!” he snarled.

“You do not understand my loss, have you ever loved another Risotto?!” You argued.

“Yes I have, I have killed for her… for losing her is my greatest nightmare” he explained as he approached you. You backed away more

“She is stubborn and ever trusting of all she meets. I killed the man she fell for to protect her as I knew if I didn't she would be trapped with no way to escape” he continued.

“That does not sound like love Risotto… it is sickening you'd do such a thing, if she knew she'd see nothing but a monster” you told him.

“So that is it? I am a monster in your eyes… after everything I've done for you?” he asked. Your eyes widened. Was this a confession that he was Isaac's murderer? You tried your hardest to keep yourself together.

“I couldn't have him hurt you-” 

“Stay away from me!” You screamed as you tried to run away but he tackled you into the dirt.

“I can't do that, after all I pledged to be at your side” he told you. His lips quickly crashing into yours. His kiss was ravenous, so desperate for your lips. Your first kiss robbed from you by your deluded knight.

You tried to fight back but to no avail. Trapped underneath him, his weight almost crushing you. It seemed like forever until he stopped and gazed down at you. Hoping to see adoration but instead met with disgust.

“Get off of me! When the guards find out what you've done they'll have your head!” You screamed.

“You think I'm just going to let you go and tell them?” He asked you, amused by your insistence. You remained silent. He chucked in response.

“I'll give you a chance, but if I manage to catch you I'm never going to let you go” he told you. You got up and he quickly grabbed you.

“And just to make this easier I'll give you til I count to 15 before I begin chase” he told you before letting you go.

Lisa Lisa + Royalty AU

Part of my 5 500 follower special one-shots featuring 5 different characters of 5 different parts in 5 different AUs. Each one-shot comes to exactly 500 words.

If it was up to you, you’d chain yourself to the carriage and demand to be taken back to your kingdom instead of stepping out to meet your betrothed from a strange faraway land. Much to your dismay, it wasn’t up to you. Though you were an adult, your parents controlled your life. You were the princess. Your job was to do as you were told. If that meant marrying a stranger you’d never met? So be it.

Letting out a huff, you exited your carriage to see a gigantic castle, in front of which a beautiful garden stretched to your place inside the castle gates. A regal and beautiful black-haired woman donning a brilliantly crafted gown stood proud, a quirk of her lips and a soft wave greeting your stunned form. A young man with fluffy brown hair stood beside her, a grin on his face as he greeted you.

You didn’t pay much attention to the young prince, too distracted by the queen of the empire. “Good afternoon, princess,” she spoke. “I hope your travel wasn’t too burdensome?”

You shook your head. “No, no. It’s a pleasure to meet you, your majesty. Thank you for inviting me to your kingdom. It’s very beautiful. I adore your garden, especially. The flowers are all so pretty.”

“I made sure it was pruned to perfection prior to your arrival,” she said, a knowing smile on her flawless lips. “I heard through the grape-vine you’re fond of greenery.”

An embarrassed blush spread across your face. You curtseyed. “You’re too kind, your highness.”

She waved your comment away with a perfectly manicured hand. You couldn’t get over her. Her presence consumed you with a feeling you’d never experienced. Though she must’ve been more than twice your age, she looked no older than you. Her beauty held something mischievous behind it, however. That much you knew. She was more than just a queen—she was the kingdom itself. The king. The knights. Everyone. 

You knew from your parents that her kingdom was a force to be reckoned with. After the king passed, the kingdom only grew. She showed no mercy. She was a king in her own right. This was the very reason you were sent to be wed to her. . . son.

A sudden disappointment formed in your chest. Right. Her son. Joseph.

You almost forgot about him. He was the one you’d spend the rest of your life with. You’d marry, start a family, and maybe one day you’d rule beside him.

You stifled a gag.

Instead, you looked back at Queen Lisa-Lisa. What you wouldn’t give to. . . 

“Shall we go inside? I’ve prepared a lunch for us, princess,” she spoke, presenting her grand abode to you.

You nodded shyly, stepping forward. Joseph moved to hold out his hand, but the queen stopped him, instead offering her own hand to guide you towards the entrance. “Allow me to lead her, JoJo.”

You placed your hand in hers, overwhelmed. Maybe. . . your dream could come true.

What we have is Princess Courtney and her retainers who can't be in love because of the law of the kingdom and her mother. While being in an arranged marriage with a neighboring kingdoms prince, Hugh Hancock (main villain in her story), they all try to find a way to be together and get that prince out if the picture. I made a fic with it, NSFW of course and if y'all wanna read it let me know so I make the appropriate post for it!

ghost!dio, where he still finds a way to cling onto life and haunts one of the women that used to follow him— you. and on the surface it seems like he’s just a malevolent phantom ( you get the reference ) that torments the reader for seemingly no reason other than him being so so selfish, but it’s revealed that there’s a deeper reason for why he remains in the world of the living . definitely adding some smut here *shudders*

ghost!bruno, gonna be an au where he has a wife who is still riddled with grief when he passes , and we’re so depressed that we start hallucinating visions of him and hearing his voice everywhere. basically a sweet but tragic story about how love extends beyond the physical world and prob gonna throw in some ghost sex here too LOL

Ok so I've been mulling something over for a bit. Regarding the jjba x zelda breath of the wild AU "Life in the Wild".

Well guess what? Guess what? I'm getting into Ace Attorney now and like Chris Chan, I've got no creative self-control and whatever I'm into bleeds into my current work lol! ...That was an exaggeration.

Anyway, I'm thinking about breath of the wild again now that tears of the kingdom is right around the corner. And I thought about the Joestar and Zeppeli ancestors of 10,000 years ago who successfully defeated Dio and left the tools behind to defeat him again to their far flung descendants. One of these ancestors is Mela Aspesi Zeppeli, the new 28 year old chief engineer who oversees the development of the advanced technologies the Zeppelis brought to Hyrule. Mela is also the ancestor of Gyro, Caesar, and the Zeppelis of the present day.

You see, before Dio struck Hyrule 10,000 years ago, Hyrule enjoyed a period of peace and was an advanced civilization, enjoying such technologies as motor vehicles and carts, flying platforms, anti gravity tech, robots, AI, advanced weaponry, a tower based radar system to detect monsters, fast transport, cameras, time-altering tech, magnesis, remote bombs, water freezing tech, and so on and so forth. All of this tech was thought to be a gift from the Goddess Hylia, the wisdom of which flows through the Zeppelis.

Mela was a prized jewel in the Zeppeli tribe. She was a humble servant of the Goddess, and considered of great importance in the hierarchy of Hylia's servants. She was also the object of affection of many men, all vying for her attention. Godot was one of them. He was a researcher of these technologies, seeking the truth of their construction and teaching others how to build them. He's got the gift of communication, and uses it masterfully to disseminate complex ideas to others in the Zeppeli tribe, to the Royal family, and to the Hyrulean officials. Additionally, he's got a way with poetry, and he often reflects upon the technological prowess of his tribe, kingdom, and the mysteries of the Goddess, putting his thoughts on paper, some of which are preserved for the far future.

So he's got an eye for Mela. She's pretty, she's intelligent, she's dainty like a flower, she's as tough as steel. When she wears the chief engineer's crown, she illuminates the room. He's taken by her, and his position allows him to work with and talk to her. She's friendly with him, and surely, she picks up that he's interested in her. Romantically.

...

...But she's in love with someone else.

Jodie Joestar, a warrior woman from the Zonai tribe moving through the southern and humid Faron Jungle, has Mela's heart. Jodie did not have powers of articulation or the knowledge of the machines or the graces of the Goddess. She did not live in the civilized world. She lurked in the jungle, hunting, foraging, surviving against the elements. How successful could she be if she was a klutz who always tripped on something, even the air? She did not have the same brightness as Mela. And yet, she commanded Mela's attention simply by being present. What did Mela ever see in her?

So, Godot is fond of Mela, but he's not so fond of Jodie. Eventually, he catches on that Mela sneaks away to see Jodie, and at first, it annoyed him, then it frustrated him, until it angered him so much that he secretly meddled with certain affairs to demand Mela's attention to her work. So he could have more time with her and have her have less time with Jodie.

It was like holding Mela captive, and Godot could see how this was hurting her. It even caused him to reconsider his feelings and plan. "I'd rather see the one I love happy with someone else than unhappy with me." It hurt him to let her go, but it was for the best.

By the time he realizes that he made a mistake, it was a little too late to change anything. Jodie's home was destroyed, her people either killed or enslaved. And Jodie would follow suit. She was not enslaved, but she was brought into civilized Hyrule and forced to assimilate. She and Mela could never be together. They needed to preserve their bloodlines and prepare for the eventual return of Dio.

What did this mean? Exactly what you think: Jodie had married a man, had a few kids, and lived a relatively quiet life until her death. But even death couldn't quiet her despair and anger at the Hyruleans and the Royal family.

And Mela...she also had children with a man. But who was that man, the father of her children? Hmm....who knows indeed. ☕ 😉

(Yandere Risotto Nero X Female Reader)

You never thought you'd fall in love with one of your suitors but here you were. Sitting drinking tea with Isaac, prince of the nearby kingdom Dorches. He'd arrived a month ago and stayed at the castle while courting you.

Unlike the others, he had made it clear that he was a suitor but even if no feelings were felt then at least you could form a friendly alliance when you both came to power.

He took his time to learn more about you and discuss meaningful conversations with you. He didn't talk down to you or flirt with you constantly like previous suitors had. You felt comfortable around him from day one.

Today the sun shone brightly. The spring flowers were in full bloom and the birds sang loudly. It was a perfect day.

"(Y/n) you've been a bit quiet this afternoon" Isaac addressed you.

"Oh, I guess I have" you replied as you took a sip of your tea.

"Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yes I am, I've just had something on my mind," you said.

"What is it if you don't mind me asking?" He asked.

"I've been thinking about this past month and how everything has gone and I've had feelings for you the last few weeks" you confessed. His eyes light up with joy as he heard your words. He stood up from the table before walking to you and wrapping you in a tight embrace.

"I'm so relieved that you feel the same, honestly I haven't felt happier than I have over this past month with you," he said.

You felt butterflies in your stomach as he told you how he felt. The crunching sound of footsteps on the gravel paths alerted you causing you two to pull away.

You looked in the direction of the footsteps to see your bodyguard Risotto Nero. He'd held that position for a few years after his endeavors as a knight. Despite seeing each other almost every day very few words were exchanged between the two of you.

His red irises stared at you both with the same stoney look they almost always had. It always felt like he was either scrutinizing or analyzing you.

"You're majesty," he said, without any more words you knew you had to leave.

"Excuse me, Isaac, I have to leave. I do hope I can see you again tomorrow" you said as you waved him farewell.

"It's no problem and of course, I'll see you tomorrow " he replied before you left with a wave.

Once you both were out of earshot of Isaac Risotto spoke.

"You should not get too intimate with that man…" he warned in a stern voice.

"I've known him for a month, '' you retorted.

"A month is not long enough to just blindly trust someone, he could very well be trying to take advantage of you," he said as he looked at you, his eyes giving you a piercing stare. This was not unlike him to lecture you about your safety, it was his job after all but you didn't agree with him this time.

"He's a prince not just some stranger, my parents have chosen him, this is not an affair you need to be involved with" you replied as you returned a glare.

He sighed, you were a stubborn girl but it was not your fault. You were raised inside the castle walls with no dangers to fear. As much as he hated those who lived in ignorance he couldn't deny that you were an exception. Over the time he knew you, your naivete had grown on him. He'd killed so many during his time as a knight, many knew not to anger him but you never once showed fear towards you. The first time you'd seen him you greeted him with a bright smile like you'd known him for years.

Over the last years especially he'd noticed his adoration for you grow. Perhaps now he realized what feelings he'd had towards you after the various suitors who'd come and gone. Jealousy brewed in him as he realized just standing beside you wasn't enough. If you married then you'd be gone forever. He'd have to get rid of the prince.

"Isaac!" You called as you knocked on the guest room door. You hadn’t seen him all morning.

"Isaac, are you ok," you asked, you were starting to feel worried.

"(Y/n) calm down," a familiar voice told you as he placed a hand on your shoulder. You turned to face Risotto.

"Sorry, I'm just worried about Isaac, I haven't seen him all morning," you explained to Risotto.

"Well, perhaps he needed some time alone, after all, he's very far from his home" Risotto suggested.

"You might be right" you sighed, perhaps you were overreacting but still it hurt, you thought that now after confessing your feelings that you would spend some more time with each other. Risotto notices the frown evident on your face.

"I'll let the knights know to keep an eye out for him, till then would you like to go into town?" he asked.

"Alright" you agreed before heading into your bedroom to grab a few things before you headed to the front of the castle and waited for Risotto to finish talking to the knights and arrange a carriage.

Once he came you both hopped into the carriage and made your way into town. You looked outside as waited. You had a horrible feeling in your stomach. Maybe you weren't good enough for Isaac, what if your confession scared him away? He probably only said he returned those feelings so as too not upset you. For the rest of the day, that's all you could think about.

Risotto watched you. He knew it would only be a matter of time till you knew the truth. He knew this hurt you and was only going to hurt more but it was for the best.

It took the knights two days to find Isaac's bloodied and mangled body in the lake of the nearby forest, Isaac put up more of a fight than the white-haired male had anticipated.

You were distraught and your parents were horrified by the news. They were quick to leave to inform the royals of Dorches as to what happened and bring his body home while an investigation began.

Risotto tried to get you to come out of your room but you refused. He couldn't recount a time he ever saw you cry before now. Your eyes were bloodshot, tears streamed down your cheeks and your sobs were uncontrollable to the point you could not breathe properly.

He'd stood by your door from morning to night, opening the door every once and a while to check up on you or bring you food. Despite how miserable you were, you still thanked him. Even once telling him that he was a good companion, making his heart skip a beat.

Days had passed before your parents returned. Of course, Isaac's parents were horrified by the situation. They did not entirely trust your family after the death of their son. So they discussed some terms. You would be a political prisoner until the murderer was found. You were shocked by the news but your parents assured you that you would be safe. You would simply be under their watch. But you still felt horrible about this.

For the first time, Risotto saw fear in your eyes, he should have seen that as a bad thing but that look was so mesmerizing.

LISA LISA, THE KNIGHT ✩

“A lone knight stands in front of the throne room, eyes sharp. She was silent -her stature spoke for her. Her gaze never leaves you, making your skin prickle. Though you had been invited as part of the audience to the throne room, the knight spared you no clemency in her observation of you.

Your guide, Suzi Q, nudges you. “That’s Lisa Lisa,” she whispers. “Isn’t she incredible? No knight has ever bested her.” Suzi Q grins at you, lowering her voice. “And she’s so beautiful. Don’t you think?”

You swallow at the thought of being under a woman as powerful and intimidating as Lisa Lisa, averting your eyes from Suzi Q’s prying gaze and clearing your throat. Suzi Q giggles and stands back to attention next to you. You follow suit and stand straight up, glancing at the knight.

You swear Lisa Lisa is looking right through you - had she heard all of that... and had she seen how you hadn’t even been able to speak?”

PROSCIUTTO, THE MERCENARY ✧

The blonde man hisses as you put a rag to his wound, the cut bleeding through the rag faster than you can keep up. For the most part, the man is stoic, only letting out a few grunts of pain as you clean his wound. After a few more tense minutes, the bleeding starts to slow down and you’re able to get cloth wrapped around the injured area on his arm. When he sees you’ve backed away, he peers down at his arm and gives a slight nod.

“... Thanks.” He says, going to stand. Immediately, his legs wobble and he’s forced back into his seat. 

“Oh,” you mumble, hurrying to his side. He huffs, his lips curling into a frown. You know he won’t be going anywhere for a while. “You need to stay here. All that blood you lost is going to make you fatigued.” 

“I don’t have time for that.” The man says, but he doesn’t try to get up again. He leans back and closes his eyes, wincing when he moves his injured arm.

“I’ll get you something for that pain,” you say, already turning towards the cabinet where you kept your small collection of wine. It was better than nothing - it might help him take his mind off of it, at least. When you’ve poured him a small glass, you hand it to him before sitting down across from him with your own glass. “You’re welcome to stay here, but if you’d feel more comfortable, I can help you to the inn. It’s only a little ways from here.”

The man opens his eyes as he takes a sip, still leaning back and staring at the ceiling. “It’s best if I don’t stop in town,” he says, closing his eyes again. “I’ll keep out of your hair.”

JOTARO, THE LONELY PRINCE ✫

Ocean blue eyes gaze back at Jotaro as he stares at himself in the mirror, his crown thrown haphazardly to the floor. What did it matter, when he had lost everything? His friends, his wife, his daughter... At least he had the comfort of knowing they were alive and breathing. He’d pushed them away before they could get hurt, after all.

He was a dangerous man, or at least, he always attracted danger. There was no way he could have them close, yet Jotaro had been cruel to them. Isolation, coldness, leaving them for days at a time without word; it was no wonder they left.

And yet, he still craved the presence of another. Someone to hold close at night, to sit next to in his throne. Jotaro knew it would be selfish, but it had been years since he’d felt the warmth of another - he could be different this time.

He has to be.

ABBACCHIO, THE BUTLER ★

You take the sweet from the plate your butler, Abbacchio, is offering you with a prim smile. It was drizzled in sticky honey - almost unbearably sweet, but you couldn’t help but crave the treat from time to time. Abbacchio would demand them from the kitchen the second you even thought about one. He was a loyal man, responding with grace to even your most odd requests and quirks.

Abbacchio was the only butler to have stayed with you long-term. The two of you fit like two missing puzzle pieces - in private, you had a rapport that would be scandalous if the kingdom found out, but you couldn’t help it. He was magnetic. His soft lavender hair and his plump lips, the way his muscles shifted under the uniform he wore. You were well aware that he watched you the same way you watched him, yet neither of you had been bold enough to make a move.

Times like these, though... You thought about it.

You take a bite of the sweet, letting the sticky honey drip down your index finger before you place the treat back on the serving tray. “Oh,” you breath, mocking surprise at the mess. You press your index finger to your mouth and catch Abbacchio’s gaze, watching his eyes darken as you slowly suck the honey from your finger. “Oops.”

“Be more careful, or you’ll dirty your dress.” Abbacchio says, stern.

“Hm, and will you help me change?” You reply. His adam’s apple bobs as he swallows, no doubt thinking of the soft skin and curves that hid under your clothing.

DIAVOLO, THE EMPEROR ✦

The Emperor was the most feared man in all of the Kingdoms - he ruled with an iron fist; wrath over mercy, blood over anything else. To see Emperor Diavolo was to see Death itself. The man rarely showed his face, yet his people still yearned to see him. He was a horrible man, a tyrant to other territories, but he was their ruler that kept them fed and safe. Perhaps it was just tradition that made the people clamor for a sight of their Emperor. They wanted to see an heir, yet their ruler was a recluse.

That’s why the people rejoiced when they heard the Emperor was to conquer another territory - in it lived a heir that would be perfect for their Emperor. Emperor Diavolo’s closest confidant and retainer Doppio was buried in letters begging for the Emperor to consider the heir. 

Diavolo found his rage at his people’s audacity quelled once he gave their idea consideration - Perhaps it was time for him to settle down. The people didn’t need to know that Diavolo never planned on vacating the throne; the magic he sought to keep him alive indefinitely was so close he could taste it. Having someone to share that with wouldn’t be so bad.

BRUNO, THE ELF PRINCE ✺

You can only stare as the elven prince Bruno peruses your small herbs & potions shop, his opulent outfit standing out from the warm tones and greenery filling the room. He was beautiful, and you’d never seen anyone quite like him - you’d never seen an elf, for that matter. You’d heard through the grapevine that he was here as a foreign dignitary, but you expected him to be staying at the palace, not roaming around the shops in town.

Bruno approaches you and you quickly scramble to attention, nervously smiling at him.

“Tell me, do you sell any body care products here? I bought the loveliest scrub from another Kingdom over in a shop like this, and I’d love to sample something from your shop.” His voice is deep and smooth, catching you off guard. You aren’t sure why you expected something else. Bruno smiles while you think, his deep blue eyes never leaving your gaze. Elves were known for their intensity, and Bruno was proving the anecdote true.

“Uh, y-yes,” You say, stumbling over your words. You step from behind the counter and walk Bruno towards a small section filled with different ointments and scrubs that he must have accidentally passed by. You pick up a blueberry and vanilla scented hair oil, tapping the lid. “This one is pretty popular, but we have other products as well. We, uh, I also make custom orders if you have something in mind.”

Bruno hums and takes the product from your hand, uncorking the lid and sniffing it gently. His eyes light up. “Wonderful,” he says, putting the lid back. He looks down at the rest of the wares and carefully picks through them, selecting a peach and honey scented body scrub. Again, he smells the product, and sighs happily. “Do you make these yourself, then?” You nod. “You’re incredible, a talent like this is so often overlooked.”

You feel your face grow warm, Bruno’s candid compliment making your stomach do flips. Were all elves this forward, or was it just Bruno, their prince?

JOLYNE, THE FORMER HEIR ✫

Two loud voices sound from behind front desk of the inn, alerting you that potential guests had arrived. You smooth down your uniform and walk out with a smile, ready to greet the guests before a loud voice interrupts you—

“Dad can kiss my ass.” Jolyne crosses her arms, staring down her mom.

“Jolyne,” Marina sighs, frowning at her daughter’s colorful use of words. “It’s not proper to speak like that.” The older woman turns to you, looking apologetic. “I apologize for my daughter’s language. She knows better.”

“Gods, you act like I’m a child. I’m 22, mom.” Jolyne replies. She watches her mom’s face fall, feeling a twinge of regret. She sighs. “Sorry, mom. And sorry...”

She waits for you to say your name, raising an eyebrow when you relay it to her. Jolyne repeats it, the name sounding like something special when she says it. “Sorry again. Being a former heiress and all, people tend to react weird. And it is my Dad’s fault, so...” Marina gives her daughter a look. “Sorry, I’m rambling. So, that’s why we need to stay at your inn. No home, and all that. But lots of money, that’s the least the bastard could have given us.” Jolyne grins, giggling when her Mom lets out a sigh. She leans forward on the counter, staring you down with bright chartreuse eyes.

“So, ya got room for a former princess and disinherited heir?”

THE SWORDS-FOR-HIRE ✵

Risotto pulls his cloak tighter around himself, shivering in the cold air of the night. It wasn’t often that the broad man felt chilled to his bone, but tonight was proving more than he or his teammates could handle. It was only a few more miles to the nearest inn... If they couldn’t scrounge up enough coin from their pockets, they could at least huddle together in the stables. 

Formaggio grunts from his left side, barely visible under his layers of clothing. “Three talented guys like us and we’re stuck dragging our asses out in the cold like this? Ridiculous.”

Illuso pipes up from Risotto’s right side, practically glued to Risotto’s side to suck up some of the warmth his body exuded. “You’re right, for once.”

“Hey,” Formaggio starts, glaring at Illuso.

“Enough.” Risotto says - it’s enough to have Formaggio back down and Illuso shrink back down into his scarf. Risotto knows as well as Formaggio and Illuso that their situation is far from ideal, but it was the best they could do with Risotto’s family name following them. He was marked with evil - or so the people said - his dark sclera and family history making him a pariah. The fact that Illuso and Formaggio had decided to travel with him still surprised him, and he was grateful for their presence. 

Hopefully, the inn would take pity on them - or at least be intimidated enough by Risotto’s presence that the trio could afford a room.

MISTA, THE RETAINER ★

Mista closes his eyes, leaning back against the cool wall outside of the castle baths. His back is tight from today’s work, but he’d have to wait until you finished bathing. Mista didn’t mind, of course - it was his duty as your retainer to protect you. He just wished that things were different... That he could be in the bath with you, washing your back and sharing an intimate moment together.

He smacks his head against the back of the wall. He shouldn’t be thinking like that - no matter how deeply he loved you, he wouldn’t ever let his romantic feelings come before his duty as your protector. Mista swore to go to the ends of the Earth for you, even if his actual vows were a little more formal. 

Still, he wondered if there was a chance - no matter how small - that you felt the same. The upcoming journey to another kingdom would see you and Mista spending more time together than usual. To Mista, it meant he finally had a chance.

Little did he know that your thoughts were nearly the same as his on the other side of the wall.

I always say that Bruno reminds me of a Disney prince, so I can totally see him at the gentlemanly prince type for his princess wifey!!! He is royalty by blood and she is not, and he defends her always to anyone who antagonizes her. He makes sure his wife is well taken care of, wearing the same luxurious garb as he does and having her every need met. 

When Bruno ascends to the throne, he is grateful to have such a graceful and magnanimous queen at his side. The king and his queen run a tight ship, but their people are well-taken care of. It’s not very long until Bruno is sweetly begging her for an heir, kissing all over her and undoing her corsets. “Please, my darling. Won’t you give me a little one?” he whispers coyly in your ear. He’s using the convincing tone he uses on your subjects, and you shake your head. Turning around, you grab Bruno by his ruff and kiss him hard. 

“My lord, forgive me, but I think it will be you giving me an heir...or heiress” you say, grinning before tugging at his doublet. The king gazed at you, wide-eyed, as you undid his belts. It never felt so good to be king.
