To elaborate on the anxiety attack, i tried to ask for friday off and this manager that runs production and handles time off requests, hes also the hiring manager but because i assume he complained about having too much shit to deal with they decided to hire a fulfillment manager so he could run production, has been a complete ass to me ever since i took the job. He acted like he was a decent guy but soon as he offered things like a pay advance and let me leave early to handle car troubles once or twice he has made every effort to guilt trip me and make me feel like shit about those things every chance he gets. Like i dont even technically work under him anymore so i dont get this guys fuckin deal besides obvious body odor issues. He legit gave me an anxiety attack where i couldnt feel my arms for 10 minutes alllll because i asked to have friday off and nobody told me every request off has to be made 2 weeks in advance whether its one day, or 5, naturally i was dissapointed and mentioned how most places ive worked only required 72 hr notice he proceeded to assume i had a tone VIA EMAIL acted like he told me this specifically and then i lost my shit. Im going to HR with this man, fuck this shit and fuck this guy.

I simply think that if a company decides to remove a show from their platform entirely, they should have to give the rights and the digital copy of that show back to the creators. The fact that the creators of Infinity Train, OKKO, and Mao Mao have no access to the work they put so much money and effort into is completely absurd.

Ex-Meta employee Madelyn Machado recently posted a TikTok video claiming that she was getting paid $190,000 a year to do nothing. Another Meta employee, also on TikTok, posted that “Meta was hiring people so that other companies couldn’t have us, and then they were just kind of like hoarding us like Pokémon cards.” Over at Google, a company known to have pioneered the modern tech workplace, one designer complained of spending 40 percent of their time on “the inefficien[cy] overhead of simply working at Google.” Some report spending all day on tasks as simple as changing the color of a website button. Working the bare minimum while waiting for stock to vest is so common that Googlers call it “resting and vesting.” ​ In an anonymous online poll on how many “focused hours of work” software engineers put in each day, 71 percent of the over four thousand respondents claimed to work six hours a day or less, while 12 percent said they did between one and two hours a day. During the acute phase of the Covid-19 pandemic, it became common for tech workers to capitalize on all this free time by juggling multiple full-time remote jobs. According to the Wall Street Journal, many workers who balance two jobs do not even hit a regular forty-hour workload for both jobs combined. Upon reaching the age of majority (15 years)

I knew I wasn't making it up! I admittedly saw that first in a different source that I still can't find, but there it is again: the age of majority in human society on Toril is 15 years old (or around). Welcome to adulthood; if you're of a traditional Calishite family you now have five years to get a decent job, get your own household, get married and give us grandchildren or you're a stain on the family's reputation.

This is presumably why Ulder was too comfortable kicking Wyll out (17 is totally a responsible adult! Never mind that jumping to conclusions and exiling him without hearing his side of the story would've been terrible at any age and is a reflection on Ulder's shitty personality problems...), why Karlach being hired as a body guard as (presumably) a teen isn't seen as overly weird, and 15-ish is also the age at which Sceleritas would announce his presence to Durge - time for your religious indoctrination, my liege!
