Sometimes I'm fine.

Other times I'm sat here trying to do work when suddenly I remember that the ST4 finale ended with Eddie's death, Max's death, Max's survival, Max in a coma, Vecna surviving, El losing the last remaining part of her childhood, Lucas traumatised, Dustin traumatised, an excruciatingly painful suggestion of Steve and Nancy getting back together, Will breaking down, Mike living in his own world, a whole Russian ordeal, *passss the dutchie pon the left hand sideeee*, Hopper coming back, the entirety of Hawkins now converging into a giant gate, and on top of all that all I choose to remember is that Robin is talking with her crush and that's cute.

But that's just me.

You know what? Max and Vanessa would have gotten along quite well and I’m sad that we’ll never see that friendship (or romance, I’m down for that).

Apparently a lot of Max was cut off (and I’m not talking about her bottom half). Like, her brother was more than just a dick, someone that she felt glad being away from (as she said in a cut dialogue), and I feel that money wise she wasn’t much better than Mike.

And she had a dog named Bones. WE COULD HAVE SEEN BONES.

I feel that Vanessa is one to just- bring home animals of all kind and nurse them back to health (‘if not friend, why friend shaped?’ And the friend in question is a hawk that hit her window). So they would definitely bound over Bones.

And, you know, the fact that they both deal with family of questionable morality and don’t really have anyone to turn to.

I hope that in the novelisation we get to see more of her, and finger crossed, maybe they even meet.

i can’t even describe how sick to my stomach devastated i was watching what happened to eddie and max in that last episode. we knew the likelihood of eddie’s death but i wasn’t ready for him to go, and i’m really struggling to accept what happened to max.

Fun fact about me, besties, I hate finishing the last episode of a show. Especially one I've become emotionally attached to. So I've been postponing finishing Stranger Things series 4 because I know Imma get my feelings hurt. But I just got the scene where Eddie doesn't want to run anymore, tell me why my tv started GLITCHING?1?!? Why now??? Stop that! I'm trying to break my own heat n peace, god damn it!

1x14 Nightmare

Oh Dean. But actually...this is an incredibly dark episode. And I know they liked “saved the stepmom’s life” or whatever. But...I don’t know...maybe they shoulda let him kill her. I know I know don’t come at me. But that type of horrific level of abuse? I don’t have any sympathy for abusive parents. Get fucked.

Dude I had this weird dream that volume 2 of stranger things came out and I watched it and it was so rushed and it seemed fake and then Eddie and Max died and the Duffers queer bated us and made Will a plot device to push mileven closer together haha funny right? I cant wait for it to actually come out

A JL Batman identity reveal fic where Bruce Wayne is openly dating Superman

Some of the Justice League walk into a lesser used room to find Batman and Superman making out

The members that walked in are like "Superman TF are you doing you got a boyfriend?!?"

And before they can say anything about Batman being a homewrecker, Batman turns his attention from the Leaguers back to Superman, now acting like a scandalized Brucie Wayne(like turning his head and putting the back of his hand to his head), being like "Gasp! Superman how could you! You told me you cut that Wayne Himbo off! Did you dare to try to have us both at the same time?!?" Clark, for his part, is caught between a look of embarrassed horror and laughing really, really hard.

Diana is probably there, in the know, laughing her ass off as she should, the absolute QUEEN.

Eventually Bruce starts laughing almost has hard as Diana, the rest of the Leaguers there are Traumatized™ for life.

Bruce then calls a full League meet, explaining vaguely how the circumstances of getting walked in on happened, some of the people who weren't there start to say something about how Batman could come between Superman and Bruce

He quickly shuts them up by mentioning that he is, in fact, Bruce Wayne

Then we get chaos as it fades to black

Young Justice is always a little...concerned. With Phantom's living situation. Now they're outright afraid for him, and Bart has decided it's time to Ask An Adult.

It was the little quips. The tiny little things. Stuff that didn't seem to matter to Phantom at all, or appeared to be normal for him, that he didn't realize weren't normal at all.

"Oh, better not hope my mom catches me." "Doing what, staying out past bedtime?" "Nah, using my powers; she'd vivisect me!"

"Another stab wound. Great." "Don't worry Phantom, I've got the med kit-" "Oh, I'm not a baby or anything, I can handle it just fine. Just gimme a sec to take it out."

"My dad has better aim than that." "...Like, when he's hunting, right?" "...At what other times would he be shooting at me?"

"Huh. Not as bad as my parents place. Look; they have a decontamination shower!" "Phantom, this lab has been vandalized to the point of needing a hazmat suit." "Did I stutter?"

Finding out each others identities did nothing to soothe the worry. Tim quietly told the others that every time he tried to run facial recognition, he kept hitting a government firewall he couldn't breach. Phantom never told them his last name, just his first, and 'Danny' is super common.

The thing that really did it though, the thing that made Bart snap and run off to ask Max, was when Danny had a nightmare.

He was talking in his sleep.

"No. Don't-stop. Stoooop. I need...my skin. Mom, no. You can't...peel off...my skin..."

Bart didn't even wait for them to wake Danny up before he was standing in front of Max, talking a mile a minute as he tried to figure out what to do, with Wally staring in horror over a plate of waffles as he computed everything that Bart was saying.

Danny had a dream about his mom and Skulker arguing about how to skin him. He wouldn't really call it a nightmare, because it was just Skulker, but the scariest thing was Skulker insisting to his mom that it was possible to skin him with a potato peeler. Dream mom was arguing that it was not, and that from a scientific standpoint that was a really piss poor way to preserve a specimen.

He hadn't been begging them to stop hurting him, he'd been whining at them to knock it off.

But when he wakes up, it's to a room full of worried friends and an old man who calls himself Max.

"Kid, I think we need to talk."

I love all of these and I love that they are official.

Gumshoe, Cody, and Lotta not knowing what a Wii is in the first one.

Edgeworth getting Will's autograph in the second. And Max Galactica doing a trick for Maya and Pearl (lemme headcanon it as the anime version he's a much more likable character there)

Desirée protecting Ron from Gumshoe (leave my boy alone, Gumshoe!) in the third. With Mia talking with Godot and Iris teaching Bikini how to play on the wii!

I love these so much!

i feel so disoriented after the stranger things 4 finale that it genuinely feels like i made the whole thing up. like i cannot wrap my mind around the fact that it’s canon and not just an insane fever dream.
