Sometimes I try to convince myself that the only reason I'm obsessed with Mikey (aka Manjiro sano) is because I just find him attractive, but I know deep down that it's because I relate to him in a certain way (it's also because I find him hot lol-). I feel like we're kind of similar to each other, and he can help me cope sometimes, but I don't normally like to admit it and just act like I'm okay.

Well... I was having brain riot and making fun of Sanzu's silliest moment ever (the train xD), because I always thought it was hilarious that he planed something so chaotic that could go so wrong so easily (yeps, ignoring the implications of who he was willing to sacrifice for Mikey). And suddenly, I thought "What if no one stopped him and everything went the worst way possible?"

And bam, this drabble was in my mind and I needed to write it and share this pain. I'm so sorry.

Summary: Apparently, when it comes to the Sanos a train wreck and a plane crash aren't that different.

Warnings: Manga Spoilers. Angst. Hurt/No Comfort. I'm pretty sure the summary itself is a big warning of where this is going. Expect only pain and a broken Sanzu. I'm so sorry, really.

Sanzu looks around, a big grin on his face. He did it, he managed to derail the train and ran over the pests that dared to compare themselves to his king.

Their irritating noise sounds a lot better turned into screams while he walks katana in hand, admiring his work. A familiar pink hair tries to steal his attention from the corner of his eye, but Sanzu doesn't stop. He's an only child, why would he care to check if she's even breathing?

There is only one thing that matters, only one focus on his mind amongst the bloodshed that he created. Mikey. Making Mikey proud, being finally acknowledged for what he's capable of doing. Earning his rightful place next to the king.

Sanzu turns his head when he hears an annoying voice screaming. Hanagaki. That fucking cockroach survived. He approaches to him, clenching his hand around the katana, decided to finish the job.

He's going to do it, he feels the adrenaline, a smirk plastered on his face now that he's finally close enough. Close enough to recognize the blonde head sticking out of Hanagaki's arms.

No.

No. It can't be. No, no, no, no. How? This can't be, Mikey was on the top of a container, he planed everything, he made sure, he... No, no, no!

Suddenly, reality hits him and Haruchiyo's world comes crashing down. Whatever delusion was feeding his mind disappears, he can't breathe. He looks around gasping for air and all he can see is blood, body parts scattered around. People screaming in pain, the smell of death.

Wakasa. Benkei. Senju.

Senju.

It's a fucking carnage and it's his fault. This was what he wanted. But it wasn't, it wasn't, this is not what it was supposed to happened. Why is this happening?

Haruchiyo's body collapses, his legs don't answer him anymore. The katana falls to the ground next to him. He pukes, completely horrified by the views. He's breaking, shaking, crying, unable to control himself.

“Mikey... No... He wasn't supposed to be down here...Mikey...”

His voice is weak, the words don't even make sense between whimpers. But Hanagaki looks at him, still hugging Mikey's body, something indiscernible in that pair of eyes that burns Haruchiyo's soul.

“Mikey isn't dead, he's still breathing. He was on top of that container, but he fell when the train...” Hanagaki stops, seemingly trying to pull himself together. “Mikey fell and hit his head. I'm gonna take him to the hospital, you can help or get out of my way, I don't fucking care anymore, but I'm taking him to the hospital. Are we clear?”

Haruchiyo just nods, allowing the hero to pass next to him with Mikey's body hanging on his arms. A chill runs down his spine when he feels it. When he feels that again. In that exact moment, he knows. Mikey is never going to wake up, he will whiter for years before finally dying.

'Laugh, Haruchiyo'

A maniacal laughter escapes his mouth. The universe is mocking at him, the cycle repeating itself.

It was always going to end like this, wasn't it?

Misa Takahashi

She’s half black (Jamaican) on her mother’s side and Asian on her father’s, her father left when she’s was about 2-3 and her mother remarried but she and her brother never liked him. She use to get bullied for her need like tendencies and the fact she looked different which lead her to be a crybaby, until she met Rina. And soon the rest of the Toman guys, she watched them fight and Gou and her older cousin Trevor taught her to fight. She soon snapped when the boys that bullied her targeted her again and beat the shit outta if the main one, from then on she was told never to cry again by Baji and Kazutora. She is apart of Toman and is considered a founding member alongside her best friend but she wasnt able to join at the time but was considered the “little sister” of the group by Draken. She is in a specialized division made up of only two people called “The Toman Divas” the only female centered devision in Toman, and their fight styles are not to be underestimated. She is quite smart for her age thus she got bumped up a grade in school but that never mattered to her step dad who praised her brother more for being a prodigy.

Misa is the vice captain in the two woman devision and in a romantic relationship with Keisuke Baji. Her fighting style is inspired by “Black Widow” her favorite marvel comic character.She is the twin sister of Tetta Kisaki (or Kisaki Tetta). Whether or not she’s the older or younger twin is a mystery to many. Not many people believed that Kisaki is her twin brother since they look nothing alike and because she has a different last name than him. “Takahashi” is her mother’s maiden name upon moving to japan but when it’s revealed by Kisaki that Misa is his sister many Toman members were fairly shocked. She also has a very complicated dating life (based on recent posts)

But is she on Kisaki’s side since she’s his sister?

Rina (Rinnah) Matsuoka

She’s 15 and born on November 18th and stands about 5’5 1/2, her family moved to japan when her mom remarried. But don’t let her girly girl looks fool you, she’s one kick ass tomboy founding member of Toman and Misa’s best friend. She is the “Toman Divas” devision captain and she has a knack for putting other members in their places when they act insubordinate. She’s taken self defense classes since she was a child and she then was able to pair it with Misa as the fight together.

In her first appearance she looks rather masc than feminine since she doesn’t wear makeup to meetings. Her and Misa are the only two women devision in Toman and they are unstoppable together. Rina knows when and where to keep it classy and when to fight, other than that she’s an absolute tease (especially to Misa) and is always thinking about cute boys. One of which is Chifuyu who so happens to have a crush on her.

Gouske Matsuoka (Gou)

He’s about 28 in the year 2005 when the events take place, he’s Rina’s older brother and worked at S.S Motors with his best friend Shinichiro Sano. He was almost recruited to join Black Dragon under Shinichiro and was supposed to be third commander with Takeomi but placed as a leader of an other special attack unit since his fighting skills were more so unbeatable but declined his offer and rather focus on easier tasks while he was still attending school, besides he promised his late father to only protect his family with his strength. Eventually he caved and joined for a short while and he was the best fighter there was according to Shinichiro. He is very well educated on all the gangs in Japan and often informs newbies on them. After Shinichiro passed he decided to continue college and joined a swim team. He looks out for the Sano’s here and there and looks out for Misa.

When the Tenjiku battle comes he returns to Tokyo just to find out his sister and best friend have went missing and went to hell and back just to save them. He was called the “Black Panther” of Black Dragon because his fighting style was almost animalistic.

Ericka Mashima-Bryant

Born February 19th 1978, standing about 5’6 and considered to be the eldest member of Tenjiku but her title is the “Fiery Tactician” due to her wisdom on fighting styles and techniques. She‘a mainly known as “Roppongi’s Siren” because her looks and beautiful yet hypnotic voice lured men in before she beats them up. She is American born but her mother is Japanese and her father a former very popular rapper back in the day. But when he had Ericka after her triplet older brothers (Maeda, Zion and Ezra) the dad had to put a halt on his already growing career for a while. They moved to japan so the mom can be closer to family, as her older brothers they taught her how to fight. She had trouble fitting in because she was a foreigner but also because she has self confidence issues due to her birthmarks, little did she know each birthmark conveyed a reason to why she was so knowledgeable and compassionate. Young Kakucho has a bit of a crush on her because she was so incredibly kind to him. She is best friends with Izana’s girlfriend Ashanti.

But nonetheless she knows how to fight and one fateful day she caught the eye of Ran Haitani and his younger brother Rindou Haitani when she was beating up a guy who inappropriately touched her. Ran called out causing her to stop and crouched downward to her level and forced her to look at him with one hand and called her “beautiful yet vicious” and decided he wanted her to be his. From then on she joined them in their rule over Roppongi and followed them where ever they went, even moved in with them. She’s not really a blonde but she had her hair dyed before meeting Ran, though his charismatic personality cause a bit of hiccups in their relationship but Ran always reminded her when ever they argued that she “belongs to him” hence why she wears the other earring he wears. Though he had a change of heart after his arrest making sure he’d show her just how important she is to him.

Ashanti Adekunle

Born June 20th 1987, 18, stands at 5’2 is the daughter of Ghanaian woman and Nigerian father, her mom passed from an illness. Her dad was a very successful businessman who often donated to charities like hospitals, foster care and more, he even took Ashanti to a foster care center. That’s when she met Izana and Kakucho, Izana seemed to like her a lot that he asked her to hang out with him so she begged her dad to drop her off often. Her dad was still suffering over his wife’s death and started becoming distant, it pained Ashanti to see this and often stayed out more. Izana was surprisingly supportive of her situation and said she can be his Queen in his new empire he was building, that was his confession to her and they started dating. She’s besties with Ericka and helps her out with her relationship with Ran. She adores fashion and is studying to be a fashion designer, when she was given the opportunity to study abroad Izana told her to go for it. And like that she left promising to call every day and said she will be back soon. Little did she know her boyfriend would be dead when she returned. On top of that she was pregnant with his child.

Tianna Williams

She’s is Misa’s cousin and the younger sister of Trevor. She’s set to be Kazutora’s girlfriend. She met him when she was visiting one summer when they were young and hadn’t seen each other for a while. And kinda lost contact when he got locked up, in the future the two of them are dating. After Kisaki’s death she comes to live with Misa and her mother alongside Trevor. In one timeline she joins Toman’s 2nd generation to take down the kanto manji gang and in the final timeline apart of Toman.

tonight's tantrum:

i finally watched tokyo revengers season 2 and HOO BOY

angery and sadde.

so it's been a couple years since i watched the first season and i forgot some of it and had to watch a recap video 😭 it took forever for me to get around to continuing it bc 1. the new season wasn't on crunchyroll and 2. i am lazy :)

BUT when i started it back up last week it didn't take long for me to be really invested and omg. what. things got even wilder and i was not prepared lol. i had a lot of questions during the first season about how the time travel works and stuff (and i still think there are a lot of plot holes there) buuuuut this show is so entertaining that after a while you're just like ehhhh i'll allow it :)

so let's start with what didn't make me want to throw my remote at the screen 🤩

one of my favorite characters in this part was chifuyu! i'm so glad takemichi finally has someone else on his side in the past who knows what's going on. also he's so supportive about everything and it's just really nice to see in the middle of all the mess 🙂‍↕️

SCREAMING BARFING SCRATCHING (bad)

i felt so much rage with the stuff that happened to emma i was screeching at like 1 am in the morning... so much so that my brother asked me the next day if i was mad about something 💀 yes i was furious actually! like what is wrong with this kid?! aren't you like 14 or smth?! GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! same for all of them tbh... the show gets all serious and then you remember they're literal middle schoolers fighting to the death and for WHAT

these guys are the only realistic middle schoolers in this entire show 😭 okay anyway i was mad and sad and all that

not worried about naoto tho he should be fine EVENTUALLY but omg the ending of this season was wild too. AND THE TRUCK PART!!! when i tell you my mouth was on the FLOOR for a good bit there. estupefacto. the irony of kisaki being taken down (via truck-kun) and finally being defeated but in such a gruesome way AND by being hit by a vehicle like he kept doing with the whole hina situation... i was just not expecting that. and it was so. icky. ow. like eughhhhh.

so. this brings us to the present, and i am so invested now... i might pick up the manga, which i don't usually do unless the next season's gonna take a while and i really wanna find out what happens. but i really see a lot of possibilities and ~scrumptious~ writing choices that can be made, what with trying to figure out how to go back further in time to save emma, baji, izana, and possibly kisaki as well?? maybe??? idk ANYWAY this has been the spark notes version of my thoughts on this whole thing bc i have SO much to say but! i love this show and it's definitely made a place for itself amongst my favorites with this most recent season, plot holes and all :0

Story ponderings from Discord (about month ago lol)

Nothing's set in stone, and this isn't exactly canon. I know what's going to happen, but this was one observation that strayed past my mind that's incredibly close to canon.

Is it... normal... for it to be smoking? Visibly so? To the point where it is visible from some distance into the surrounding waters?

[A human with a Zorua tail is trekking through the Lavender Town Pokemon Tower.

As Illanero nears a staircase, the video begins to go to static. It's hard to make out what's visually happening.

However, sound still works fine. A voice can be heard, a Pokemon's voice, yet speaking human words.

"Why have you returned?"

"I heard that something weird was happening here since I was here!" Illanero says. "Was that you?"

"So you have come to mock us once again," the other voice says. "Was taking on their form not enough? Was putting a memorial to one of them in our tower not enough?"

"What do you mean?" Illanero asked.

"Humans," the other voice said. "This tower is a space for Pokemon to rest. Why, as one of our kind, have you disturbed that? Why did you create a memorial to a human here?"

"What's wrong with humans?" Illanero asked.

"Humans killed me! They tore my cub away from me!" the other voice said, anger in her tone. "How can you pretend to be one of them? How can you act like one of them? How can you make a memorial for one of them here, in this sacred place?"

There was a moment of silence, before she said, "Answer me!"

"I...humans are reallyreally weird," Illanero began, a bit of sadness in xyr voice. "I don't understand them at all. They do so many reallyreally weird things, they look reallyreally weird, and they're not Pokemon at all. But...they're not all bad. Most of them aren't bad. I met a lot of reallyreally nice humans, like Wally, Shauna, Nemona, Urbosa, Kooky, Mustard...and the human I made the memorial for."

Illanero continued, "He was reallyreally nice. I met him in Snowbelle City in Kalos, and he didn't care that I was a Zorua, he was just happy to be with someone. But...he died reallyreally soon after I met him."

"There's a lot of reallyreally bad humans, too. Team Aqua, Team Magma, Team Yell, Team Rocket, and more. But I think that there's more good humans than bad ones," Illanero finished.

"...I can't forgive them. Not after what they did to me. Not after what they did to my cub," the other voice said.

"I understand," Illanero said. Xey paused, then asked, "Did the humans who killed you have red symbols on them?"

"Yes. Red as the blood they spilled," the other voice said.

"That's Team Rocket. I defeated their boss yesterday, and I think I exposed one of their hideouts too," Illanero said. "I don't think they're gone yet, but I'm gonna defeat them for good!"

"...do you promise?" the other voice asked.

"I promise," Illanero answered.

"...thank you," the other voice said.

"Rest in peace, Marowak," Illanero said.

After a few seconds, the static finally fades, revealing Illanero alone in the tower.

Dragon Pokémon are spoken of in legends and known for being hard to raise. But if you can establish a connection with them and raise them well, their powers are superior! That's what I did with my Dragonite!

My clan has a deep connection with dragon Pokémon. But I'm probably the only one who's has a connection with a deified Pokémon.

Our experiences on Pasio have had a positive influence on Dragonite! And of course, our interactions with you have contributed to that, too! I look forward to spending more time with you!

My favorite part about this outfit is the cape. Capes are an essential, iconic component of any dragon master's attire. This sacred shine... I can feel a surge of power coming from my body! This outfit is only temporary. After a while, it'll revert back to my original clothes. The fact that it's temporary adds to its appeal though, don't you think?

Random conversation 6:

I don't mean to brag, but I'm impressed that Dragonite and I were able to awakena new power... I'm genuinely happy that the love I have for my partner Pokémon manifested in a visible way. As long as you have a strong and upstanding nature, your Pokémon will respond to it. Never forget to feel compassion for and trust in your Pokémon, and to have perseverance and determination!

Arceus is a sacred and legendary being who is said to have shaped all there is in this world. Dragon Pokémon are considered to be sacred and legendary creatures, too. In other words, the combination of their powers are superior!

not set in stone at all but pokemon mainline anthro au concepts… this is some of team kanto, Pulsar (she/her) is the main protagonist and I’m not totally sure what personality to give her yet. Perhaps she’s someone who grew up very sheltered and unwilling to break the rules, and is only just now breaking out of that in her 20s.

Levi (he/they) is a former professor who’s gone into hiding after being suspected of illegal experimentation. They are Mewtwo’s creator, they struck a partnership with Mew and then backstabbed them to create the ultimate Pokemon. Mewtwo fled, but since Levi supplied his own dna towards Mewtwo, the two are linked. When Mewtwo is nearby, his arm begins to mutate. He’s become deeply remorseful for their actions and seeks to make things right with the Mews by uniting them. They also have a son, Blu, who is Pulsar’s childhood best friend.
