To all my creatives out there; you’re not a flop because your artwork didn’t get 100 likes, or because your video didn’t hit the 1k view mark, or you lost a few followers. You didn’t get ‘worse’ and people don’t suddenly hate what you’re putting out there. Sometimes you just get less engagement, but it’s not because you’re making ‘bad’ art!

Keep creating and making things YOU enjoy! You have to be your own biggest fan!

Just so everyone knows, I love reading every single post you all make in this fandom. I mean- any fandom- but Deadpool and Wolverin specifically.

I like feeling like I'm part of some group and sure, I will never meet any of you and probably never even speak to you, but I like that there is this sense of friendship. A sense of belonging.

I've never really had that. At all.

It's nice to be able to come here and read that other people are more similar to me than I used to think. Other people make random connections to shit in movies. Other people have headcannons in the thousands and like picking apart details wherever they can.

I just like that. It's nice. Makes me feel less wierd and less alone, and I'm sure it does for alot of other people too.

Even if it is all because of some fictional character we are all obsessed over.

Anyway, this got grossly serious and emotional, so here is a stupid idea I've had for ages to balance that out.

Wade taking Dogpool on walks only for Logan to get stupidly jealous, to the point where Wade has to basically take Logan on his own 'walks' (they go down to the park, get a coffee, and sit on the bench talking for an hour).

I was going to wait to post this here until I hit a week, but I gave myself a small stress free challenge to do one expression a day!

I’ve been really extra busy the last few months I’ve barely drawn so these lil guys will help me do a little bit everyday.

Day 1 & Day 2

I was originally planning on doing all KC (cause I’m predictable and still stuck in Kill Code brainrot), but I thought it would also be cool to do other DCA’s. So…. Yesterday I did two 😅

I’ll do weekly updates for the rest of this so I don’t nickel and dime you all with posts.

I would credit the original artist, but with no watermark and unsuccessful reverse image searches I am unable to do so. If you know, let me know so I can credit!

Keep Writing, Keep Creating

With all the conversations going on over the past few days in the Dreamling fandom - I think a lot of people could be feeling stalled on their writing/art in one way or another on stuff they might have had in progress.

This is your nudge.

(Cause I'm feeling it, too.)

Take a deep breath and keep writing.

Take a deep breath and keep drawing.

Take a deep breath and keep creating those metas, making those gifsets, designing those moodboards, making memes, you name it.

You can keep something in mind - and be aware of it - and not address it in your current project. That's okay. Allow people to be critical of characters, of the show, in their own spaces, and focus on your own works and projects. You don't need to engage, and in fact, it's better if you don't.

Truly...if reading a fictional romantasy causes uncontrollable, vitriolic hatred towards people never met - over imaginary characters - and exploding with such torrential contempt that there's foam and rage at people one'll never know....

Reading almost anything else is better (starting with one about boundaries).

I am very thankful for Elriel folk who have made me laugh, shared their daydreams, reveled in the joy of creating, and geeked out on lore. Just because your drawing, writing, sewing, or general crafting/art isn't as good as someone else's, doesn't mean it isn't good. You can still make great art without being the best.

It's amazing how a majority of Danny Phantom fan works are a billion times better than anything Butch Hartman ever came up with.

I wrote yesterday.

As a person with inconsistent writing sesions and problems to actually sit and write, this is great. I love writing, and making sprints with others always helps to get the words flowing.

Yes, in that picture of the sprint there is people that wrote a lot more than me in entire months; but the important is that everyone was able to write. At their step, in different parts of the process.

Because that is it: PROCESS.

Sometimes there is entire months where I don't write anything, and sometimes a demon posses me and write +1k words in less of a day. And that is... fine, there is nothing wrong or shameful in not being a bit more consistent.

Everyone has their own and unique process.

I hope this message reaches to people that needs to know how important is writing, not even if you aren't capable to create a lot of big word counts in a consistent period.

Keep writing, write when you feel ready. It doesn't matter if after you wrote it you dislike it.

It was part of your process, and just for that is valuable.
