Some artwork inspired by some story stuff for my Glitchy Simon AU. Unfortunately the file got accidentally deleted before I finished it,,,, thankfully, I took a screenshot, but it still pains me bc I WASN'T DONE...

A lil story blurb + related doodles under the cut:

For several days, Simon had been wandering in this universe that looked uncomfortably close to the world he left behind over a thousand years ago (give or take a handful of historical details here or there). Betty living there crossed his mind, and while he knew pursuing her was a horrid idea, he... he couldn't help himself. He wanted to see her so bad, even if he knew it wasn't actually her, y'kno? Just... to see her as a normal, happy human again could satisfy himself enough to live his days in peace. At some point he was able to locate her and caught a glimpse of her from a distance. And, with this simple gesture, he found himself... content...

However... fate had a different plan as she caught sight of him too, setting the stage for things soon to come...

That first meeting went insignificantly enough for Simon to not think much of it. She didn't recognize him? Had the Simon of this world not met her yet? Well, even better! He could simply give himself a fake name and walk away from her life with hope to leave it at that. But, to his dismay, they kept running into each other by accident: on the street... in the shops... at the fated library. He was no longer a blip to be forgotten in her memory, but an acquaintance... one that was making an impact on her. Not Good...

It was only a matter of time before she found out.. she knew she wasn't going crazy when she caught sight of the faint blue glow and strange ear-piercing static she heard standing next to him. No, something was off with this one. Her roommate scoffed at the suggestion, but she had to know. Who was this man, really? And why did standing next to him fill her with a dread she couldn't explain?

Soon... he was cornered. Left with no other choice but the truth, he told her about who he really was and why he was here. She couldn't help but feel... sad. So sad for him. She didn't know why, but her heart yearned to do something about it. But that was the LEAST thing Simon wanted…

In your new recent art, I wonder how did Mario got his new powers? Was Bowser involved with it?

Well, it's not exactly new; it's his Firebrand ability, but it's more powerful. More dangerous and chaotic.

Hm.. Maybe Bowser badly hurt Luigi during a fight. Mario's power and rage skyrocketed (my old art below comes to mind :]), and he knocked out the Koopa King.

But he has no way of controlling it or even knowing why it's happening, so he freaks out, causing the fire to grow more frantic.

Luigi and Peach look to each other with uncertainty. And it was then that Peach decided that Mario needs someone to calm him down before he burns down the entire castle.

Eventually, Mario's fire dies down as he falls limp in Peach's embrace.

Being very normal [lie] about @kibbits's Break A Leg boys!!! They are running around in my brain causing drama all day long <3

These doodles I would say are roughly around the time where Y/N has known them for a bit, so they're not tooooo dangerous anymore, and they're just starting to figure out the whole (waves vaguely) identity thing lol

To explain the little mini comic just in case its not clear: Y/N is lamenting to Moon about some car troubles (whether they drive themself or couldn't get a ride someplace or what have you), and the next day, Sun asks how the car situation is going. Y/N is a little confused because they remember talking to Moon about that, not Sun. Sun is confused because he's not sure what the difference is. He's not even sure who's out right now (Both? One? Which one? What's the difference???)

trying out some minor changes to gatsby's design. Im not quite settled on some features but generally i want him to have a softer fame and frame. i want him to have blonde/light brown curly hair, but it blends in with his skin too much i feel, so i still am working that out.

Time didn’t reply, and looked over at the dying fire for what felt like a very long time, expression unreadable... then he reached a hand down to the hem of his tunic and lifted it up, revealing a huge, dark line that stretched from his shoulder down to his hip, Twilight’s breath catching at just how big it was.

“...I don’t remember how I received it,” Time admitted, voice very, very low.

Notes:

I think I definitely like the original versions more than the edited ones. I'm more happy with the grumpy Fernando one, whereas the bratty Seb one made me want to cease painting forever. So hopefully he looks good?????? I'm sure I'll soften on it, but yeah, not TOO pleased with it right now. His facial expressions are so cute and dynamic and unique until you have to try and paint it and then you dont love him anymore(kidding ofc, how could I ever hate my beloved boy king 🥺)
