Heaven's POV
It’s been a smooth ride for the past few days. Ever since the boys blended in with my other brothers and the staff, things have been going great. It's heartwarming to see everyone getting along so well.
Today was a significant day for us as it marked the start of our training sessions. I was bursting with excitement, eagerly anticipating the progress we'd make. The goal is for them to grow into the fierce yet compassionate predators they were born to be.
This morning, I decided to start our day early, much to the dismay of Yoongi. Anyone who knows him would understand how much he values his beauty sleep. I almost got scratched for daring to disturb his slumber. It's a known fact that he detests being woken up, except by me. There's something special about our bond that allows me to rouse him from his sleep or cuddle with him for extended periods.
However, today seemed to be a bit of a mix-up for Yoongi. Mistaking me for Jungkook, he was caught off guard when I accompanied the younger one to wake him up. Jungkook is known for his mischievous nature, especially when it comes to teasing his older brothers like Yoongi. The look on Yoongi’s face was priceless when he realized it was me and not Jungkook who was trying to wake him up.
The sight of Yoongi's confusion and Jungkook’s mischievous grin nearly drove me to laughter, despite the seriousness of the situation. It was a moment that perfectly encapsulated the unique dynamics within our little family. Yoongi glaring at me, Jungkook stifling his laughter, and me trying to maintain a serious facade while inwardly cracking up.
The sun had barely begun to rise, casting a soft golden hue over the backyard where my unsuspecting group of sleepy, pajama-clad boys stood. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at their disheveled appearances, the remnants of sleep still heavy in their eyes. It was going to be a challenge to get them up and moving, but I was determined to show them some tough love and kickstart their day with a bang.
I cleared my throat, trying to stifle a giggle as their groggy expressions turned into scowls at being awoken so early.
"Alright, listen up, boys," I announced, trying to sound authoritative despite the amusement bubbling inside me.
"You're probably wondering why I dragged you out here at the crack of dawn."
Their eyes widened slightly, the first signs of curiosity peeking through their exhaustion.
"Well, today marks the beginning of our training regimen. My brothers will be taking the lead as your instructors, with some additional experts joining us later on."
They stared at me as if I had completely lost my mind, but it wasn't long before the realization set in. Panic ensued as they scrambled to shake off their sleep-induced fog and mentally prepare for the day ahead.
I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of their frantic movements, a mix of amusement and fond exasperation washing over me.
As they finally began to gather, still half-asleep and disheveled, I couldn't resist a teasing remark.
"Come on, guys, let's try to look less like a pack of zombies and more like aspiring warriors, shall we? Get yourselves in formation now."
Their movements halted at my loud directive, freezing in place like guilty pups caught in the act. I couldn't help but shake my head at their antics, a mix of amusement and exasperation tugging at my lips.
"Hey, Taehyung, what do you think you're doing to poor Jungkook over there?" I called out, unable to contain my laughter at the sight of Taehyung playfully tugging on Jungkook's hair.
Jungkook shot me a mock pleading look, while Taehyung flashed a mischievous grin.
"Come on, noona, you know I'm innocent here. He started it by stepping on me!" Taehyung protested, feigning innocence with an exaggerated pout.
Jungkook rolled his eyes dramatically, trying to wriggle free from Taehyung's playful grasp.
"Don't listen to him, noona! He's just trying to save face. It was all Jin Hyung's fault; he pushed me first!" Jungkook interjected, pointing an accusing finger at Jin.
Jin raised his hands in defense, a mock look of innocence on his face.
"I only pushed him because Hoseok jabbed me in the ribs!" Jin protested, trying to shift the blame to the unsuspecting Hoseok.
And just like that, they were off, each boy pointing fingers and deflecting blame onto the next with playful banter and mock outrage.
I couldn't help but shake my head at the chaos unfolding before me, a mix of fond exasperation and amusement bubbling up inside me. It was going to be a long day indeed, but I wouldn't have it any other way with this crazy, lovable bunch of crackheads.
~Two Hours Later~
As the dust settled from the earlier chaos, my focus turned toward channeling the boys' newly found energy and determination. The moments of conflict and resistance had dissipated into the calm resolve that now emanated from their eyes.
With each of them fresh and cleansed, I could see a shift in their demeanor as they stood before me, listening intently to my instructions for the day. They seemed eager, yet unsure of what lay ahead, a mix of curiosity and determination etched onto their faces.
I took a few moments to outline our plan for the day, making sure to emphasize the importance of easing into our training session. The boys nodded in agreement, their expressions serious and focused.
"As we start off today, we'll take it easy with some warm-up exercises, theory lessons, guidelines, and practice rounds," I began, my voice firm but encouraging. "Remember, the key is to be prepared and observant in combat. Let your enemy make the first move, learn from their actions, and use it to your advantage. Their strengths could also reveal their weaknesses, just as yours could."
I paused occasionally to ensure that they were following along, gauging their understanding through their attentive expressions and occasional questions. It was important to me that they not only memorized the techniques but truly grasped the underlying principles that would guide them in their training.
As we waited for my brothers to join us, I continued to impart wisdom and strategies that I had learned over the years. I shared anecdotes from my own experiences, illustrating the importance of patience, strategy, and adaptability in combat.
The boys absorbed the information like sponges, eager to learn and improve their skills. It was clear that they were taking this training session seriously, eager to prove themselves and demonstrate their progress.
I could sense a camaraderie forming among them, a shared sense of purpose and determination that united them in their quest for mastery.
It was a satisfying sight, seeing them grow and evolve before my eyes. I knew that with dedication, perseverance, and a willingness to learn, they would continue to improve and excel in their training. And I was grateful to be a part of their journey, guiding them on the path to becoming skilled warriors in their own right.
It had been a long day waiting for my brothers to show up, and my impatience was growing by the minute. I mean, where were they? It was unlike them to be this late without a good reason. I was starting to stew in my own frustration, imagining all the things I would say to them when they finally arrived.
But just as I was about to unleash my anger, there they were, striding in as if they owned the place. Typical. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at their nonchalant attitude. I tried to keep my composure, putting on a fake smile to hide my irritation.
I couldn't resist a snarky remark, “Nice of you guys to finally join us.” I knew it would get under their skin, and sure enough, they smirked in response. My brothers always knew how to push my buttons, and they seemed to take great pleasure in it.
Dante, ever the instigator, didn't miss a beat, teasing me about my murderous thoughts. “I know you were plotting our deaths in your head,” he said with a chuckle. I couldn't help but give him a playful shove, my irritation momentarily forgotten.
Andre, the voice of reason as always, intervened before things could escalate further. “Enough, you two. Let's get started, shall we?” he said, and we all nodded in agreement.
As we began planning our training session, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my brothers. Sure, they had a knack for getting on my nerves, but deep down, I knew they always had my back. We worked well together, each of us bringing our own strengths to the table.
As we went through the training grounds, discussing strategies and giving each other pointers, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie. Despite our differences and occasional squabbles, we were a team, united by our shared goals and unwavering bond as siblings.
In the end, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, I could always count on my brothers to be by my side, ready to support and push me to be the best version of myself. And for that, I was grateful.
The day goes on as we warm up and prepare ourselves for the practice rounds. It's a routine we're all familiar with by now, but there's always a sense of anticipation in the air. Every practice session is a chance to improve, to get a little bit better, and to bond as a team.
Marcus, the second eldest, comes up to me. Marcus is usually a subtle and reserved kind of guy. Yeah, he does make a few jokes here and there, but not as chatty as Dante and Andre. He's the kind of guy who listens more than he speaks, but when he does say something, it's usually worth hearing.
“Hey sis, you good?” He asks, a tinge of his Italian accent slipping in and out. I can tell there's something on his mind, probably something weighing heavy on his heart.
“Yeah, I'm alright, and how are you holding up, after….” I don't finish, knowing it's a very prickly topic for him. Marcus met this girl last fall, and he immediately fell in love with her. It was so sudden, so unexpected, and yet he was sure she was the one.
How that happened, I don't know. What surprised me is that he didn't even try to do a background check on her, despite us continuously telling him to. We were worried, we were concerned, but Marcus was adamant. He refused and said he trusted her and that she was just an ordinary girl.
We could have easily done it ourselves, but we couldn't disrespect Marcus. He was always happy, and whenever he would come back from meeting her, he always had this goofy smile on his face like a kid on Christmas day. It was infectious, his happiness, his joy, his faith in this girl he barely knew.
I still remember the day he introduced her to us. She was beautiful, no doubt about that, but there was something in her eyes, something in the way she smiled that didn't sit right with me. I couldn't put my finger on it then, but now looking back, I wish I had trusted my instincts.
But Marcus, oh Marcus, he was smitten. He was blind to any doubts, any suspicions, any warning signs. He was in love, head over heels, and nothing could shake that belief he had in her.
Marcus is like a fortress, Guarded, tough, and practically untouchable. He's not the type to let just anyone in, you’ve got to earn his trust.
But then along comes this woman, and suddenly, all his walls come crashing down. It's like he's under some kind of spell or something. He's completely head over heels for her. But that's until she betrayed him.
Even though Marcus tries to play it cool, you can see right through him,
“I'm alright,” he says in that calm, collected tone of his. That’s his way of saying, "back off, don't push it."
Trust me, you do not want to see Marcus when he's angry. It's like trying to calm a storm, impossible and dangerous.
As Andre swaggered into the room with his shorts and no shirt, I couldn't help but cringe a little. But then Namjoon sauntered in, following his lead, and suddenly my ovaries were in overdrive. Namjoon was a sight to behold - tall, muscular, and just a tad underfed due to malnutrition. Thankfully, he was now looking healthier than ever, unlike those first few days when he couldn't keep anything down.
His confidence exuded an air of nonchalance as he strode into the arena, commanding attention without even trying. I found myself staring, completely captivated by his presence, until Marcus nudged me out of my daze.
"Hey, if you keep ogling with your mouth wide open, you'll catch flies," Marcus teased, earning a playful swat on the shoulder from me in response.
Turning back to Namjoon, I watched as he engaged with Andre, going over the basics of the training regimen. Seeing him so focused and dedicated only added to his charm, making it hard for me to look away. His determination was palpable, and it stirred something within me.
As they continued their discussion, I couldn't help but admire the way Namjoon absorbed every detail, his eyes focused and his body language exuding confidence. It was clear that he was committed to mastering the skills we were teaching him, and it was inspiring to witness.
It was quite interesting watching the friendship between Namjoon and Andre grow closer. They seemed to have this natural connection, always engaging in deep conversations and sharing their thoughts on various topics.
Namjoon and Andre both possessed exceptional leadership qualities and high IQ levels, making them a formidable duo. Whenever Andre visited, he would often seek out Namjoon, eager to engage in what they called "intellectual talks". From discussions on philosophy to challenging each other's viewpoints, their conversations were always thought-provoking.
I decided to put Namjoon's intelligence to the test and had him take an IQ test. I was truly impressed by the high score he achieved, showcasing his sharp intellect and analytical skills. It was no wonder that he and Andre bonded over their shared intellectual curiosity and thirst for knowledge.
But despite their impressive qualities, both Namjoon and Andre had a quirky and playful side to them. They were both self-proclaimed "dorks" and had a knack for cracking jokes and lightening the mood whenever they were together. It was refreshing to see them embrace their silly side and not take themselves too seriously.
"Okay, listen up everybody," Andre began, commanding the attention of the group.
"You guys are going to learn what I like to call The Massive Bs: Block Before Bite. This technique will teach you how to protect yourself before combat. Block before bite, to put it simply, is to avoid getting hit whilst learning your opponent's fighting technique. It might seem simple, but it's quite challenging and for you to master this technique, it requires a significant amount of toleration and resistance."
As Andre continued to explain the intricacies of the technique, the boys nodded in understanding, eager to put his teachings into practice. It was moments like these that showcased the bond not only between Namjoon and Andre but the rest of the group. Their shared passion for learning and growth brought them together, creating a unique camaraderie that was truly special to witness.
So, Namjoon was the first to be called forward with Andre leading the training session and started demonstrating the techniques, physically showing Namjoon the ropes and tricks. It was impressive how quickly Namjoon and the others picked up the techniques. They took turns practicing, and I was amazed that they were able to grasp it within just a few hours. In contrast, it had taken me a couple of days to fully master the technique myself.
Witnessing their progress left me in awe. It was inspiring to see what they were capable of achieving in such a short amount of time. It made me excited for the training ahead. I realized that it might not be as daunting as I had initially thought.
As we wrapped up our first training session, I could see that the boys were exhausted. It was clear that the training had pushed them to their limits, but they persevered and gave it their all. I couldn't help but admire their determination and work ethic. It was evident that my brothers knew how to push someone to their physical limits and help them grow stronger.
Reflecting on the day, I felt a mix of emotions - pride in their progress, amazement at their abilities, and anticipation for what was to come in our training journey. Despite the challenges that lay ahead, I was confident that we were in good hands and that together, we would be able to conquer whatever obstacles came our way.
Looking ahead, I felt a sense of excitement and motivation. I knew that with hard work, dedication, and the support of my brothers, we would be able to achieve great things. This first training session had been eye-opening, and I was ready to tackle whatever challenges came our way in the future.
I took the elevator up to my floor, exhausted after a long day. All I could think of was a hot shower to wash away the grim of sweat and dirt. As I drew closer to my door  a familiar voice calling out my name stopped me in my tracks.
"Heaven!"
I turned around to see Jin. He was standing a few feet away, looking hesitant but determined.
"Hey Jin, what's up?" I said, leaning against the wall in the hallway.
Jin shuffled his feet nervously before finally speaking up. "Is it okay if I could use the kitchen?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper, his fingers twisting together.
I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "You want to use the kitchen?" I repeated, trying to understand his sudden request.
He took a deep breath before opening up to me, his words pouring out in a rush.
"Yes, I've never told you this, but I enjoy cooking. Before I was kidnapped by those men who put me in that auction where you saved us, my owner was an elderly woman. She treated me like her grandson and taught me everything I know about cooking and baking. She had a passion for trying new recipes and she passed that love on to me. But when she passed away, her grandsons threw me out of the house, and that's how I ended up in that horrible situation."
Honestly, I was surprised when Jin opened up to me about his past so quickly. It felt like a moment of genuine connection and trust between us.
I feel a mix of emotions knowing that he trusted me enough to share something so personal and troubling. But it also brought me happiness to think that he found some solace in confiding in me.
I made a silent promise to myself that I would always be there for him and the rest of the boys. I wanted them to feel safe and supported, to not have to relive any of their painful memories if they didn't want to.
As I listened to Jin speak, I couldn't help but admire his strength and resilience. It must have taken a lot for him to confront his past and share it with me. I wanted to make sure he knew how proud I was of him.
"I'm glad you told me about your past Jin," I said, my voice filled with sincerity. "You're incredibly strong for facing it head-on. I know there may be days when you feel the weight of your responsibilities as the oldest member of your pack, but please remember that you've already done so much for them. And I can confidently tell you, they all see and appreciate that."
I had noticed the moments when Jin's usual overly confident demeanor faltered, when his eyes betrayed a pain he tried to hide. It was clear that the burden of being the oldest weighed heavily on him.
I recalled how Andre once struggled with similar feelings of duty and responsibility. We had all sat down with him, reassured him that it was okay to show vulnerability, and reminded him that we were a family that supported each other no matter what.
I hoped my words had the same effect on Jin, that he felt a sense of belonging and understanding among us. I wanted him to know that he wasn't alone in his struggles and that we were here to lift him up when he needed it.
I was grateful for Jin's trust and vowed to always be there for him and the boys.
As I see Jin's face light up with relief at my words, I can't help but feel a surge of affection towards him. He's always been so caring and thoughtful towards everyone around him, it's only fair that he receives the same in return.
"Really?" He asks excitedly.
"Of course, and also you don't need my permission to use anything. Just go for it and knock yourself out," I say with a playful punch to his arm, eliciting a genuine laugh from him. His laughter is contagious, and soon enough, we're both chuckling like a couple of old friends reminiscing about good times.
I watch him as he nods in understanding, his expression softening with gratitude. Jin has always been one to wear his heart on his sleeve, and it warms my own heart to know that he trusts me enough to confide in me.
"Okay Jin, I'm glad we had this talk. Let me go shower, and you go do you in the kitchen, also could you please tell the young ones to go shower," I say, already mentally preparing myself for the inevitable struggle of convincing Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook to clean up. It's always a challenge with those three, but their antics never fail to bring a smile to my face.
Speaking of Jimin, trying to get him to take a bath is like wrangling a cat - quite literally, considering he's a snake hybrid. But just like any creature of habit, he resists the idea of cleanliness with all his feline stubbornness.
Jin lets out a snort of amusement, fully aware of the impending battle ahead before heading off to the kitchen to prepare something for us.
With a sigh and a shake of my head, I turn back towards my room, ready to wash away the day's worries and thoughts with a nice, hot shower. The sound of water cascading down in the bathroom soothes my mind as I let the warmth seep into my bones, washing away any lingering tension.
As I step out of the shower, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, I know that no matter what challenges may come our way, as long as we have each other's backs, we can weather any storm that comes our way.
Jin's smile and laughter echo in my mind, a constant reminder of the strength and warmth of our growing bond.
3rd Person's POV
Everyone gathered in the cozy kitchen, their stomachs growling in anticipation as the mouthwatering aroma of Jin's cooking wafted through the air. The room was abuzz with chatter and excitement, the energy palpable as they eagerly awaited the feast that was about to be served.
Jin had outdone himself, with a spread that could rival even the fanciest of restaurants. From succulent stuffed chicken to gourmet delicacies that looked straight out of a magazine, the dishes lined the kitchen counter in a tempting display. And let's not forget about the desserts - they were a work of art in themselves, guaranteed to satisfy even the sweetest tooth.
But despite the impressive array of dishes before them, Heaven knew all too well that once her brothers and hybrids dug in, it would all disappear in a flash. They had a knack for devouring everything in sight, leaving no crumb behind. It was a wonder they had never entered a food-eating contest with their insatiable appetites.
As Jin put the finishing touches on the last dish, the boys eagerly gathered around, their eyes lighting up with anticipation. They were like a pack of hungry wolves, ready to pounce on their prey at any moment. But Jin had other plans.
"Before you beasts attack, let's show some manners, shall we?" Jin teased, a playful glint in his eye. "Heaven gets first dibs. We all know she's the only one who won't inhale her food in two seconds flat."
The boys grumbled half-heartedly, but they knew better than to argue with Jin. His cooking was non-negotiable, and they dared not risk missing out on his culinary creations. With a mock bow, Heaven stepped forward, her mouth watering at the thought of finally digging in.
She filled her plate with a reasonable portion, not wanting to overdo it and risk feeling like a beached whale afterward. It was a delicate balance - wanting to savor every bite while also trying to keep up with the bottomless pits that were her companions. But she was determined to enjoy every morsel, even if it meant fending off her brothers' attempts to steal a bite.
Just as Heaven is about to turn around and tell them to get their food, they all rush in like a pack of wolves getting as much food as they can.
"I'm surrounded by a bunch of amateurs," she says, shaking her head in disbelief. Dinner goes well as they all happily converse, telling embarrassing stories about each other.
When Jay walks in looking feverish. The once cheery mood vanishes in an instant as everyone's attention turns to him.
"Ms Valentino, we have a problem," he announces with a sense of urgency in his voice that immediately puts everyone on edge.
"What is it?" Heaven asks, her usually calm demeanor now replaced with a sense of seriousness that rarely graces her expression when her loved ones are around.
"Choi Woobin has gone rogue," Jay begins, his words hanging heavily in the air as everyone processes the gravity of the situation.
And just when things couldn't get any worse, Jay drops another bombshell that sends a chill down Heaven's spine.
"He managed to escape from prison and he's plotting revenge on you, but not just you. He somehow found out about the guys and is working with Jeong-sin, Min-Soo- or should I say Black Eagle's younger brother - to get revenge," he says, each word dripping with the weight of the impending threat.
Heaven feels her blood start to boil at the mention of her beloved hybrids being put in danger once again. The mere thought of anyone laying a finger on them ignites a fire within her that is unmatched.
"These guys just don't know when to quit, do they?" Heaven's tone drips with a mixture of frustration and determination as she makes it clear that she will not stand idly by while her loved ones are threatened.
With a steely gaze and a resolve as hard as steel, Heaven knows that she must act swiftly and decisively to protect those she holds dear. The safety of her hybrids, her family, is paramount, and she will stop at nothing to ensure that they remain unharmed.
The storm may be brewing on the horizon, but Heaven is ready to weather it with all the strength and courage she possesses.
She surveyed the room, her mixed emotions bubbling beneath the surface as she looked at the faces of her hybrids. Despite their stoic expressions, she could sense the fear lingering in their eyes, a subtle tremor betraying their unease. In that moment, she made a silent vow to herself and to them, a promise etched in her heart and soul.
"I won't let you be afraid. I'll always protect you," she whispered softly, her voice carrying a determination that seemed to resonate in the air around them.
With resolve etched on her face, she rose from her seat, exchanging a knowing glance with her brothers who understood the unspoken command. Jay, ever faithful, trailed behind her as she made her way out of the room, the weight of her mission heavy in the air.
As she prepared to confront the looming threat that had plagued their existence, she knew the risks involved. There was no certainty that she would return unscathed, but such thoughts were fleeting in the face of her unwavering dedication.
I have to put an end to this once and for all. She thought, her mind focused on the task ahead.
Her determination burned brightly, a fierce flame driving her forward as she pledged silently to herself.
I will fight for you with every ounce of my being, even if it means laying down my life. She affirmed, her conviction unwavering.
The love she held for her hybrids fueled her resolve, a fierce protectiveness surging within her veins.
With each step she took towards the impending confrontation, she carried with her the weight of her promise, a solemn oath to safeguard those who depended on her. The echoes of her whispered vow lingered in the air, a testament to the depth of her devotion to those she held dear.
As she embraced the uncertainty of the coming battle, her heart remained steadfast in its commitment to shield her boys from harm. In that pivotal moment, she found strength in her unwavering bond with her hybrids, a force that drove her forward into the unknown with unwavering resolve.
For her, there was no greater purpose than ensuring the safety and happiness of those she cherished above all else, even if it meant braving the darkest of paths. And with that unshakeable resolve guiding her, she stepped into the unknown, ready to face whatever lay ahead in the name of love and protection.

Hey there!
I'm thrilled to share another chapter with you, filled with fluff and a tinge of angst. I really enjoyed writing this one, diving deeper into the private interactions Heaven is having with the boys. Those moments really add layers to the story, don't you think?
And let's talk about Jin - oh, what a character! I had so much fun exploring his personality a bit more in this chapter. He's definitely the quirkiest and funniest person around. I just want to tuck his cute confident ass in my pocket. He's just so precious!
I can't wait for him to return from the military. More Jin content is definitely needed.
Thank you so much for reading and being a part of this journey. Your support means the world to me. And hey, don't forget to vote and comment if you enjoyed this chapter. Your feedback keeps me going!
Sending you lots of love,
Your quirky AUTHOR-NIM 😆

Need to get something off my chest again bc tiktok kpop stans don’t know how to act normally whenever their fav male idol gets into a relationship scandal. Why do some of yall keep calling the gf’s of ur favs bitches? "I knew anton had bitches" "why are yall surprised taehyun isn’t bitchless" like you can call them women you know that? Some of you bg stans have internalized misogyny and you don’t even realize it. I shake in fear (/j) whenever I enter TikTok during scandals bc u guys constantly degrade the women ur favs are dating thinking it’s a joke. During the taehyun club scandal I deadass saw someone say txt’s dorm is gonna be clean now bc taehyun was seen dancing with women like is this normal to yall?? "It’s not that serious" it is though because it’s a derogatory term you’re using against random women you don’t know shit about. Let’s do better, these women are girlfriends and significant others, they are PEOPLE with thoughts and feelings. Not bitches, not hoes or whatever you losers call them for laughs and clicks.

The Summer it Came True
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Bangchan × black female reader named Kel
Summary: You loved him, and you never got to tell him, but now he's back.
It had been about 13 years since Chan left Australia to Korea to pursue his dreams of being a K-pop idol. He left the day you wanted to tell him how you felt about him. You woke up and got ready to see him only to realise that he was gone. He left just like that, no explanation, no call, no text, not even a letter. He was just gone.
You had no idea what he left for, and you received a rude awakening when you saw him performing with a couple of other boys on stage on TV after years of not having a trace of him. You already forgot about him (you didn't), so why did he have to show up now? Why was he even more handsome than before, and more importantly, why was he coming back to Australia?
You thought you had gotten over him but why did you still have feelings for him?
Disclamer: this work is from my imagination and it does not reflect the artist's behaviour in anyway. It's fiction so a lot of things may be a tad bit unrealistic lol. I will be posting this in parts/chapters. Chan is still an idol in this but I kind of left out the outside/idol world in this fic.
A/N: The first few chapters may seem kind of boring, but y'all have to stick with me, okay? I wanted to make this kind of slow burn, so if you stick with me for long enough, the story gets more interesting and a little spicy as we go along. i promise ♡.
Genres: Romance, fluff
Chapter 1
Word Count: 800
It was almost summer, meaning it was time for you to start getting ready to move into the beach house that your parents left you before they died. You were an only child, so everything they owned automatically became yours, they died when you were legal so you had no issues with the law on acquiring the properties including the million dollar clothing industry they left you.
How did you deal with your parents dying in a car crash and becoming the ceo of a company overnight at the age of 20? People tend to ask. The answer is: you don't know. You're 26 now, 6 years seemed to fly by like days, and you became more and more invested in the company, you grew to love it. You had no time for a lot of friends or romance as you were always working.
Maybe you didn't have time for romance because my heart still belonged to him. Your heart still belonged to Chan, the boy who vanished into thin air the day you wanted to confess your feelings for him. Call it an obsession. It probably was, but you hadn't been able to get him out of your head for years now, and you didn't know why.
Every time you thought about that day, you almost got tears in your eyes. You were only 13. He was your first love. How could he just leave like that without telling you anything?
Then you realised. He didn't owe you anything. Hell, you barely even spoke. Why did you feel so entitled? You guys were acquaintances at best. The last time you remember having an actual conversation with him was when your two families met on the beach one summer when you were twelve, and you were both forced to play together.
Other than that, it was just a simple "hey" or a wave every time you saw each other in school or in the neighbourhood. You weren't exactly the best of friends. You just had this embarrassingly huge crush on this man who probably didn't even remember your name.
You were supposed to be packing up your things to leave the suburbs of Sydney to your house on the beachside where you would take a break from the office while still working but this time with the serenity of an ocean view and the calming sound of the ocean waves. You were really looking forward to it.
For some reason, you weren't really in the mood to get packing, so you jumped on your bed and tuned the TV to an entertainment channel, and that was when you received the biggest shock of your life.
It was HIM. He was right there on your screen. The boy - wait, he was a man now. The man you couldn't shake off your heart and your mind was right there on your screen after twelve years of disappearing, and he was as beautiful as ever...
...
After getting over the shock of your life that day, you did a little research, and you found out that he was a K-pop idol in an eight member band called "Stray Kids" what a weird name you thought to yourself but they were a pretty big deal. They were superstars. You weren't surprised. Chan had a really amazing voice that you never got to compliment him on, and you knew he would end up pursuing what he loved one way or the other.
As if the shock of seeing him on stage performing with seven other men wasn't enough, they announced their first World tour, and the third stop was Sydney. HE WAS COMING HERE? HE WAS COMING BACK? You almost lost your mind for a few minutes.
Wait, why did you even bother? He was a famous celebrity now. He definitely didn't remember or care about the girl he built sandcastles at the beach with thirteen years ago. He probably had all the girls wrapped around his finger. He probably took multiple girls home every night. Bold of you to assume you'd be on his mind.
It was honestly pathetic for you to still think about him the way you did but you just couldn't get over him, his eyes that closed up whenever he smiled, his mouth corner dimples, his beautiful smile, his big beautiful nose, his contagious laugh that sounded like he was in need of air, the way he would always carry things for the female teachers at school, the way he always made sure ladies went first before he did and the way he donated blood to the hospital every once in a while. He was perfect but not for you. You had to forget about him.
You had to do it before he came back.

Stupid necklaces tangling together and its overwhelming hard until someone comes to help you
it was late, you wanted to get to sleep but the feeling of your necklaces being a mess was stopping you. mingyu was downstairs, cleaning up the rest of the dishes. he insisted that you went up to get ready for bed as he cleaned up. you tried to untangle your necklaces while they were on your neck, but it just felt like it was getting worse. one of them was just a simple necklace, but the other one was the necklace that mingyu gave you when you first met. it meant a lot to you, and so this whole situation was stressing you out.
it was 2 am, almost 3 am, this was the last thing you wanted to deal with at this time. a frustrated sigh escaped and you ended up throwing your necklaces on the bed, at the same time mingyu came up the stairs, and into the room, “whoa whoa slow down there pro mlb pitcher,” mingyu chuckled, “what’s wrong?”
“my necklaces are tangled.” you answered, rubbing your face with your hands trying to calm down.
mingyu held out his hand, and you grabbed your necklaces from the bed. you handed them over and mingyu walked over to lay down; gesturing you to follow him. you put you’re head on his chest while you watched his hands untangle the chains calmly; making you wonder how he could do it without frustration. “why are we dealing with this at 2am?” mingyu question with a smile.
“because i was wearing them and they got all wrapped up, and it became too much.” you answered, playing with the charm on his necklace.
as you two laid there, you felt your body begin to calm down; making you feel tired. it was the effect from laying next to mingyu, it always felt so nice. “i bet you’re tired too, that’s why you were getting so frustrated.” mingyu said softly.
you nodded, feeling a soft kiss on the top of your head. all the frustration you had from the necklaces was basically gone, something about mingyu calmed you down within a second of him being in the room.
as mingyu untangled them, he hummed you a song in his head; making you half asleep from the vibrations of his chest. you could feel his arm movements lessen as he reached the end of the chains, finally having them apart. “i’m going to put them on my side table, okay?” mingyu said quietly.
you felt mingyu move a bit to put them up, but them back to where he was.
usually one of the necklaces gave you ease to sleep, it being the one mingyu gave you, but with mingyu around you really didn’t need it.
it was almost as if mingyu was your anchor, he brought you back down to earth every time.

~Valentino Mansion~
3RD PERSON'S POV
Heaven Valentino, a skilled and determined woman, had just finished a rigorous training session at her gym. With precision and composure, she fired round after round at a target dummy, hitting the bullseye every time. Satisfied with her performance, she exited the gym and began making her way back to her room.
As she walked, a voice called out to her,
"Ms. Valentino?" It was her secretary and trusted right-hand man, Park Hyung-jae, hurrying to catch up with her.
Curious, she turned to face him. "Yes, Jae?"
"Someone is requesting your presence," Jae informed her, the urgency evident in his voice.
Heaven's sharp mind instantly assessed the situation.
"Who is it, and what role do they play?" she calmly inquired.
Jae answered without missing a beat.
"Choi Woobin, Chief Executive General Officer," he replied, conveying that the person in question held a position of significance.
"Very well," she replied nonchalantly.
"Set up an appointment for two in the afternoon. If he fails to arrive on time, I will not entertain him. Punctuality is of utmost importance to me."
With that, she moved on, resolute in her decision. It was typical of her to make swift judgments and take charge of her own schedule, refusing to waste time on those who did not value timeliness.
Her composed demeanor left Jae slightly taken aback.
"Well, that was easier than I expected," he mused to himself, shrugging off the surprise. With a sense of relief, he left to fulfill his assigned tasks.
~Heaven's Room~
Heaven's POV
Ah, I knew it wouldn't take long for him to come begging. I could see right through his façade, right from the start. You see, there are very few things that I despise more than tardiness, laziness and liars.
Hybrid abusers.
Growing up as the youngest daughter of the illustrious Valentino family, I've had my fair share of enemies. From the moment I entered this world, there were those who sought to bring me down, to harm me, or even to kidnap me, all in an attempt to weaken my family. But these feeble-minded individuals could never succeed.
Many assumed that, as a wealthy and privileged young woman, I would be nothing more than a spoiled brat with no ability to defend herself.
But oh, how wrong they were.
From the day I could walk and comprehend the world around me, I have been trained relentlessly.
The Valentinos believe in honing the skills and fortitude of their children, regardless of their gender. So, from the tender age of four, I began my journey towards becoming a force to be reckoned with.
By the time I reached fifteen, I had accomplished what most could only dream of. I graduated high school with a flawless 5.0 GPA. But my thirst for knowledge was insatiable, leading me to a prestigious university known as the "Gifted Souls."
In just a few short years, I secured a PhD in psychology, a Masters in business, and even delved into the realm of fashion. I achieved all of this by the tender age of twenty-two, and now, at the age of twenty-three, I am well on my way to solidifying my empire and making a name for myself.
The professors at my university were astounded by my brilliance, bestowing upon me the moniker of the 'female version of Albert Einstein.' But, I paid little attention to such trivialities.
My single-minded focus was on gaining knowledge and establishing myself as a force in the business world. I aim to take over one of my parents' companies, the very essence of the Valentino empire.
People may see me as a woman who walks with an iron fist. When they encounter me, they don't think of me merely as Heaven of the Valentino family, they see Heaven Valentino, a woman who commands respect and exudes power.
Some have even had the audacity to refer to me as the ice princess, the demoness or even the female Adolf Hitler. But I take such labels in stride because I know the true strength that lies within me.
As an individual who values efficiency and productivity, I possess a limited tolerance for trivial matters or individuals who impede progress.
In the circle with which I surround myself, idleness and unproductive behavior have no place.
Vigilance remains paramount, as there are perpetually individuals plotting one's downfall or even one's demise, and I personally acknowledge the latter as the ultimate threat.
Over time, I have accumulated a considerable list of adversaries. The number of instances where I have inadvertently provoked others is too extensive to accurately quantify, such is the nature of my assertive personality.
When confronted with something disagreeable or incongruous to my stated preferences, I swiftly take decisive action.
The ability to discern and rectify undesirable situations is a responsibility I take seriously, akin to the saying,
"With great power comes great responsibility."
In my case, this responsibility is focused solely on my survival.
While some may perceive my approach as cold or detached, it is merely a matter of survival in a world where dangers often lurk beneath the surface.
In conclusion, my aversion to nonsense and unwavering commitment to productivity have inevitably resulted in the development of numerous adversaries.
This is an outcome I readily accept due to the assertive nature of my character.
My consistent and immediate response to unfavorable circumstances is driven by a sense of responsibility towards self-preservation.
Ultimately, it is this unwavering dedication to my own well-being that helps me navigate the precarious landscape of existence.
I felt my eyes narrow as I thought about the man who had recently come into my crosshairs,
Mr. Choi, the Chief Executive General Officer of Seoul National Police.
To the public, he was a respected figure in his early fifties, but I knew the dark secrets that lurked beneath his facade.
Mr. Choi's wife had tragically succumbed to stage four cancer, leaving him without any children to carry on his legacy.
Many saw him as a pillar of the community, a dedicated servant of the people. But I saw through the facade to the truth - he was a twisted, solipsistic man who had been engaged in despicable acts.
It was a revelation that had shaken me to the core when I had discovered that Mr. Choi was involved in taking bribes from hybrid traffickers.
The thought of such corruption within the ranks of law enforcement made my blood boil.
But what truly turned my stomach was the knowledge that he was also a child rapist and a sadistic individual who derived pleasure from the suffering of others.
Only I and my uncle knew the extent of Mr. Choi's depravity. My uncle ran a Hybrid facility called Hybrid Heaven (HH), dedicated to rescuing hybrids from abuse and capturing traffickers who sought to exploit them for profit.
When my uncle had uncovered Mr. Choi's involvement in these heinous activities, he had turned to me for help in bringing him to justice.
With the help of my loyal team of associates, I had quickly gathered evidence of Mr. Choi's crimes. It was not difficult to connect the dots once they realized that a police officer was complicit in covering up the illegal activities of hybrid trafficking.
And when Mr. Choi's name had surfaced as the linchpin in the operation, I wasted no time in setting my plan into motion.
I stood in my room and felt a surge of anger and revulsion towards the man who had committed such atrocities. I knew that he was reaching out in a desperate attempt to cover his tracks, but I also knew that I held the power to bring him to his knees.
With a steely resolve, I prepared myself for the confrontation that lay ahead. I would not rest until Mr. Choi faced the full force of justice for his crimes.
And in that moment, I squared my shoulders and steeled my gaze, I knew that I was ready to confront the darkness that lurked within the heart of a man who had once been seen as a paragon of virtue.

~Mayás Fashion House~
As I arrived at my company building, the energy in the air shifted as the employees stopped in their tracks to greet me politely. With a nod and a smile, I returned their greetings, keeping the interactions brief.
I made my way to the private elevator that would take me up to the 8th floor where the meeting room awaited.
As the elevator came to a stop, I stepped out and approached the meeting room. The transparent glass walls and doors allowed me to catch a glimpse of Mr. Choi inside, his figure pacing nervously.
I watched as he reached for a handkerchief to dab at his sweat, a reaction that I found somewhat distasteful. Pushing open the doors, I sauntered over to one of the swivel chairs, disrupting Mr. Choi's anxious movements.
"Good Afternoon, Mr. Choi," I greeted him calmly, causing him to visibly startle. With hesitant steps, he made his way towards me and took a seat on the opposite side of the table.
"G-good af-afternoon, Ms. Valentino," he stuttered out, clearly flustered by my presence.
"Relax, Mr. Choi. I just need some information from you, and then we'll be done," I reassured him with a light chuckle, meeting his gaze as he averted his eyes and nodded eagerly.
"Good. Now, let's not beat around the bush. Tell me everything you know about the illegal underground Hybrid dealers," I said, leaning back in my chair, a sense of authority evident in my tone.
Mr. Choi hesitated before beginning to speak, revealing details about the underground operation.
He mentioned a mysterious figure known as Black Eagle who orchestrated the kidnapping and sale of hybrids for profit.
The auction took place over five days at a luxurious resort on the outskirts of Seoul, shrouded in secrecy to all but those in attendance.
His eyes met mine as he shared more about the nefarious activities, including a bi-monthly Hybrid auction where rare exotic hybrids were sold off to wealthy clientele with exclusive VIP passes provided by Black Eagle.
I listened intently, absorbing the information and maintaining a composed demeanor throughout.
It was clear that Mr. Choi was apprehensive, but my focused interrogation drew out the pertinent details I needed to pursue further action against the criminal syndicate.
My eyebrows creased as I listened, a mix of disbelief and horror washing over me.
The thought of such a place existing where people indulged in their darkest desires on hybrids, pushing the boundaries of cruelty and exploitation, made my stomach churn with disgust. The depths of depravity that some individuals would sink to astounded me.
He continued, "Participants torture hybrids to feed into their twisted sexual gratification,"
What the actual fuck!
These creatures, who were part human and part animal, deserved compassion and care, not to be subjected to such heinous acts.
It was a stark reminder of the darkest facets of humanity, a side that I never wanted to believe existed.
As the details of the auction event unfolded, each revelation seemed to plunge me deeper into a pit of revulsion.
"They also indulged in the "hunger games" a concept, where the rarest hybrids were paraded and objectified for the amusement of the audience, they would compete to inflict pain and suffering on the hybrid, all for the chance to possess them as prizes."
It felt like a nightmare brought to life. To think of it was sickening beyond words.
My heart ached for the hybrids subjected to such cruelty, for their pain and helplessness in the face of such brutality.
It was a stark reminder of the darker side of society, one that I had never truly comprehended until now.
The callousness and inhumanity displayed towards these creatures left me feeling a deep sense of shame for belonging to the same species.
Despite the turmoil of emotions swirling within me, I forced myself to remain composed, to listen to the grim details of the auction event with a steely resolve.
The urge to lash out in anger and despair clawed at the edges of my composure, but I held onto my restraint, determined to bear witness to the extent of the atrocities being described.
As the final details of the event were laid bare, the mechanics of the auction and the fate of the hybrids outlined in chilling clarity, a cold fury settled over me.
The thought of the buyers participating in such cruelty, of treating living beings as mere objects to be traded and discarded, filled me with a sense of loathing that I had never experienced before.
With a clenched jaw and a heart heavy with sorrow, I steeled myself to hear more, to confront the depths of depravity that lay at the heart of the five-day auction event.
Despite the revulsion and horror that threatened to overwhelm me, I knew that I had to bear witness to the truth, no matter how harrowing it may be.
I made a solemn vow to ensure their safety and vowed to lead them to a life free from such atrocities.
Determination consumed me, and I pledged to keep my promise, declaring my identity as Heaven Valentino.
In the intense confrontation that followed, I confronted Choi Woobin with unwavering resolve, demanding information and justice.
As the truth unfolded and the gravity of his actions came to light, the shock on his face was palpable.
Despite his pleas for mercy, I stood firm, condemning his heinous crimes and refusing to yield to his empty remorse.
Taking charge of the situation, I orchestrated his confession and surrender, unwilling to let him escape accountability.
With a mix of anger and compassion, I ensured that justice prevailed, even as his pleas for forgiveness fell on deaf ears.
The moment was charged with raw emotions as he was escorted away, a tearful reminder of the consequences of his despicable deeds.
After the intense encounter, I made a call to Jae, seeking solace after the harrowing events.
Exiting the meeting room, I left the company building and made my way back home, reflecting on the tumultuous events that had transpired.
~Unknown Location~
3rd Person's POV
Two hybrids were drained and weak, their bodies suffering from the beatings they received for sleeping in. Locked in a heavily secured cell, they endured days without food or water, leaving their mouths dry and their bodies craving molesols of food. Heavy metal shackles dug into their wrists, leaving painful bruises as a reminder of their captivity.
One of the hybrids expressed a strange premonition to his older brother.
"Hyung, I have a weird feeling," he murmured, his eyes distant.
“What is it?” his brother inquired, concern evident in his voice.
“I feel like something big is going to happen,” the younger one replied, his hybrid instincts alerting him to an unseen future.
As they shared a tense moment, the older brother hoped silently,
'I hope it's not bad, my dear brother.'

I added a tad more detail to offer a glimpse into the world of the book, just enough to spark your curiosity without giving away too much. I wanted to provide a little peek behind the curtain to entice you to come along for the ride.
A quick heads up - this book doesn't hold back on the intense stuff. It deals with some heavy, triggering content that might not be everyone's cup of tea. So, fair warning, this is not your typical light and fluffy read. It's raw, real, and might hit close to home for some.

Only Me and You
Continuation of The Summer it Came True
Tumblr media
Next chapter
Chapter 1
Pairing: Bangchan × black female reader named Kel
Summary: You go to Seoul to spend some time with Chan.
Disclamer: this part of the story MIGHT eventually contain smut if I'm moved to. Other stray kids members are mentioned in this chapter.
I recommended reading The Summer it Came True before you read this but it can be read as a stand alone!
More under the cut!
Two years had passed since the man you loved suddenly showed up after 13 years of disappearing, lived with you for one week, just so happened to feel the same way about you and asked you to be his girlfriend.
Whenever you look back at it, it's kind of insane how that happened. You guys had been going strong for two years now. Today was your two year anniversary. You were taking a break from the company to go stay with him in Seoul for a while.
He was on tour the years that had passed, and you were bustling about in the company working on designs, shoots, magazines, and fashion shows.
You both barely had time for each other. The times you guys finally had time to even videocall one of you slept off midway or had to leave to take care of something urgent. You didn't mind, though. You were both hard workers and pretty independent. You both found joy in your work. It was your happy place.
But you both miraculously had a break at the same time. You decided you were going to go to Seoul to spend your break. It would do you some good.
You only ever travelled around for shows and meetings and didn't get to take in any of the new places you visited. You were finally going to experience a new culture, take in new scenery, and rest for a bit. Plus you were spending it with your boyfriend.
Your boyfriend. It still sounded weird to you. The only thing weirder than that was the man you were referring to as your boyfriend. Your boyfriend was Chan. Bangchan as the world knew him. How was it possible that was the man you were dating?
You both had planned to rent an apartment out for a month because spending alone time together with seven other men wasn't ideal. You guys wanted your space.
He was going to pick you up from the airport and take you to the dorms to meet the guys before you both left to the apartment to start your month of relaxation.
You were so excited to see him. The last time you saw him in the physical was when he dropped him at the airport two years ago when he was leaving for Melbourne to see his family. Just the day after, he had asked you to be his girlfriend. Time flew by so fast.
"Just when I thought I was the only man in your life." Cj, your friend said, snapping you out of your thoughts. You were still in the process of packing up some things before you left later today. Your flight was in the afternoon at two
"Oh, shut up. You're talking like you aren't engaged to your girlfriend of three years. By the way, how is Melissa doing?"
"She's doing great, we're almost drowning in wedding plans, and I actually came by to give you this."
He handed you a pastel colored envelope, and inside it was an invitation to their wedding and a letter from Melissa asking you to be one of her bridesmaids.
"Awwn, stop, this is so cute. I'm going to call her once you leave. Thanks for the package delivery guy, you can go."
"What an interesting way to treat your global ambassador and one of the most decorated models in the industry." He said, feigning annoyance
"After all your accolades, I'm still your boss so shoo."
"Okay, whatever you say, boss, go enjoy your holiday with mister Bang. The last thing you guys should be doing is banging, though." You cringed at his awful play on words and threw a flip flop at him.
"Leave!" He laughed to himself and said a quick bye before leaving and shutting the door to your house behind him.
He was so annoying.
You had already left the spare key to the main house, the beach house, and your car with CJ. It was time for you to leave for the airport now. Your flight was at 2 pm, and it was a 10 hour 30 minute flight, but Sydney was two hours ahead of seoul, so you would be arriving in Seoul at around 10 pm.
You were in for a long flight. You ordered an Uber to take you to the airport, and during the ride, you were mostly on the phone with Melissa, CJ's fiancée talking about wedding plans.
You finally got to the airport, and while you were still going through security, you decided to text chan and tell him you were about to board the plane. He replied, telling you he would be there to pick you up when you land.
You sorted your luggage, boarded the plane, and actually slept through the entire flight. It was so peaceful and you hadn't had a good sleep in a while.
The plane landed, and you got off, then went to get your luggage at the terminal. You looked around the huge airport building for chan but no sign of chan. You were about to call him when you felt someone tap your shoulder.
You looked back, and it was your boyfriend. You instantly dropped the bags you were carrying and jumped on him. Embracing him in a tight hug. He laughed when he caught you and placed a kiss on your forehead.
You placed your head on his shoulder, and you guys stayed like that for a while. Your hands were locked round his neck, legs wrapped and his torso, and he had his two hands round your waist. You both didn't care that you were in the midst of people.
"I missed you." He said, placing a peck to your cheek when you had lifted your head that was buried in his neck.
"I missed you too. Happy anniversary." As you said that, he let you down and picked up your bags.
"Let's get going." He led you to where the car was parked and opened the front door for you then he put your luggage in the trunk and went round to the drivers seat to start the car for your drive to the dorms and then to your apartment.
"Your car is really nice." He owned a black G Wagon. You had always found cars of this model cool.
"Thank you. How was your flight?"
"Honestly bro I slept through the whole thing, I only woke up when we were served food." You looked at him while you spoke, and you could see him smiling. The soft night lights were hitting his features just right. He was so handsome. He was yours.
"Why are you laughing? Did I say something funny?" You asked in genuine confusion.
"You called me bro." He said, still smiling.
"Oh sorry princess I don't know what I was thinking." You said to him sarcastically
"You can come down from the car and find your way." He said and actually stopped the car on the side of the road.
"Are you serious right now? Let's go." Cars passed you both by, and their headlights gave you a better view of your boyfriend. He was giving you a long look from the drivers seat. God give you strength this entire month. You didn't want to do anything crazy.
"You're lucky I love you." He said and immediately put the car in gear to continue your drive.
"Thank you for loving me, Mr. Bang."
"You're welcome, Ms. Mitchell." You laughed a bit at you guys' silly jokes and relaxed into your chair.
"I'm kind of scared to meet the guys." You confessed to chan after being quiet for a while.
"Why?" He asked, sounding concerned.
"What if they don't like me? You've been their leader for years, and I just waltz into their lives, taking you away from them."
"They're not children, Kel. They've known about you for two whole years. Plus, they have their own girlfriends, too. You'll be fine."
"Okay." You said feeling reassured.
You were kind of nervous to meet the guys. They were celebrities. You got to know a bit of their personalities through clips on the Internet, but you really didn't know how they truly were.
You kind of forgot that you were sort of a celebrity yourself. You owned one of the biggest brands worldwide. Why were you worried?
"We're here." Chan said, snapping you out of your thoughts. You looked at the building in front of you. It was a standard looking duplex. It was painted grey, and it had a huge front yard.
You got down from the car and chan held you by the waist.
"You ready?" He asked.
"Yeah." He dragged you towards the door with your answer.
He opened the door with his key, and you guys were met with pitch darkness and complete silence. You could only hear the sounds of electronics.
"Han?, Seungmin? Lee know? Felix?" He made out to flip a light switch, and as he did, you were met with a surprise.
"Happy anniversary!" His members popped up from their hiding spots holding a banner, balloons, and a cake. You looked at Chan to see if he was surprised as you were, but he wasn't. He looked like he expected it. The sucker knew all along. He planned it.
You didn't realise when tears started to fall from your eyes.
"No, no, no! Don't cry!" The man you recognised as Felix exclaimed. Chan looked at you and started to laugh while pulling you in for a hug. You were still crying tight in his hold. No one had ever done something like this for you before.
Chan signalled to the boys to leave the living room, and they all went into what you assumed was the kitchen.
Chan cupped your face with both his palms and used his thumbs to wipe your tears.
"Honey, why are you crying?" He was still laughing a bit when he asked.
"It's just... you guys are so nice. You put this all together for me. No one has ever done this for me before." You said still crying a bit.
"Come here." He pressed you back into him and told you to stop crying.
"Let's go meet the guys, okay?" You nodded and followed him into the room they went into, and you were right about it being the kitchen.
When you got into the kitchen, the guys were sitting on chairs around the island.
"Hi everyone." You said with a little wave to them.
"Guys, this is my girlfriend Kelly." Chan said to all of them even though they clearly knew who you were.
"Hi i'm-" You stopped the man who extended his hand towards you for a handshake before he could finish his sentence.
"Wait, don't tell me your names. I want to see if I remember them." You started placing names to faces while pointing at them one by one, and when you were done, they all started clapping.
"Wow, you did so well." Felix said, standing up from his seat to give you a handshake.
"Thank you. Thank you, guys, for the nice surprise."
"No need, it was all the old man's idea. He practically held us at gunpoint." You laughed at seungmin's joke, and Changbin hit him on his head for it.
"I always watch your fashion shows on tv. I love your designs." I.N. said to you
"We're happy to finally meet you. Chan is always talking about you." Changbin said.
"Awwn, thank you, Changbin." His English was the cutest thing you had ever heard.
"You're very beautiful." You couldn't believe that hyunjin the "visual king" was saying that to you.
"Thank you. You guys are all really handsome, too, if I do say so myself."
"Okay, okay, she's my girlfriend. Okay? You guys get your own." Chan said from the corner he had been standing in.
"I'm going upstairs to go get my bags. You guys had better not do anything stupid." As Chan was leaving the kitchen, they all followed him, and you were left in the kitchen with Felix.
"Do you want some cake?" He said to you, pointing at the cake Chan got you guys for your anniversary.
"Yes, please." Felix, cut a slice of cake and put it in a plate for you. He also handed you a fork.
"Do you mind if I have some?" He asked you, and you were stunned at how well mannered he was.
"Oh no, why would I? Please go ahead." He got himself a slice and sat down at the island with you.
"Thank you." You didn't understand why Felix was suddenly thanking you. Was it for the cake?
"For what?" You asked.
"For everything you're doing for Chan. I've not seen him this happy in years. Now I'm not saying he was depressed or something, but he came back different when he came to Melbourne two years ago. He came back brighter, and it's all thanks to you. He said you completed him."
You had no idea what to say after everything Felix just said to you, and thankfully, chan walked in before you had the chance to reply.
The rest of the members came down with him, too.
"We have to go now. It's getting late." Chan announced as he entered the kitchen.
"Okay, I'm coming." You said.
"Felix, when are you leaving with Melinda?" Chan asked him.
"She'll arrive tomorrow, so let's say in two days?" Chan nodded his head at felix's answer, and you assumed Melinda was felix's girlfriend.
As you and chan were leaving to the car Felix ran out with the remainder of your cake saying you forgot it but you told him to keep it since the rest of the boys hadn't had some yet and he adhered to your instructions.
Chan opened the front door for you, put his things in the trunk of the car, and got into the drivers seat. As you guys were driving out of the front yard, the boys were standing at the door waving you guys goodbye, and you rolled down the window to do the same.
"Don't come back!" Seungmin yelled from the door, and changbin hit him on his head again, just like earlier in the kitchen.
Chan was laughing as he drove out of the yard.
"They're all really nice." You said being the first one to speak.
"See. I told you you'd do fine. I don't even know why you were scared in the first place."
"Shhh. Remind me to send some clothes to I.N. later. He said he liked my designs. You didn't even tell me he followed the brand."
"Sorry. It sort of skipped my mind. But it's kind of crazy how someone you met like 16 minutes ago is getting gifts before the actual boyfriend." Here he was again with the teasing.
"Maybe I should just date I.N. instead of you." You said teasing back.
"Then I'd sit back and watch you get arrested." You scoffed at him and told him to shut up.
"Does the apartment look the way it does in the pictures on the site?"
"Pictures don't even do the place justice if we're being honest."
You both were in for a good time this month.
