If I was Dazai’s judge at court, I would fold instantly and probably gaslight the place up to free him 💀
Like what do you mean I have to sentence this bbg with criminal charges of complicity in 136 murders, 312 cases of extortion, and 625 cases of fraud, along with other shenanigans?
This kitty cat? My best friend? He would NEVER (Yes, he would and did).

Could you do the lawyer of ADA, they deal with Dazai a lot. They managed to get taken by the Guild as a hostage, instead of freaking out they actually relax and treat it like a vacation. Some of the Guild members are confused until ADA calls them to negotiate but Dazai takes over asking about the legal ramifications of a fire he may have caused, but in his defense it was half on fire when he got involved. Fukuzawa grabs the phone off him and requests to speak to Fitzgerald. Instead of tea the lawyer asks for whiskey on rocks.
This has both platonic (children) and romantic (adults) yanderes
You could hear the irritating voice of Dazai from the other end of the the phone, he was so loud despite Fukuzawa having the phone. Fitzgerald sits on the couch across from you, and he even looked annoyed from hearing Dazai’s voice and he’s not even used to it like you. You could hear Fukuzawa’s voice, trying to negotiate with Fitzgerald dispute the chaos in the background. Fitzgerald rubbed his temples before cutting the president off.
“Listen old sport, let me think about your offer and you can call me back once you get a proper handle on your employees.” There was a brief noise on the other end of the line that sounded like yelling but it was cut off by Fitzgerald hanging up. He looked at you and shook his head with that charming smile. “I’ll be honest I don’t know how you deal with that all.”
“It takes the patience of a saint.”
“Then I must be the devil.” He waved over a maid in the room telling her to get him some tea and then he looked at you. “Would you like anything?”
“Whiskey.”
“This early?”
“After that headache I need it.”
Honestly being held captive, if you could call it that, by the Guild, was much better than the in and out of your job at the Armed Detective Agency. You have tried to quit in the past but somehow Dazai would be on the same train you took home, Kenji would run into you at the farmer’s market, or even the siblings at the convenience store by your house which was odd since you lived on the other end of the city that the Agency was on. Those were the milder cases, there were the other times where Kunikida would accidentally run into you in the middle of a job, or when you fell down the stairs in the park and Dr. Yosano just happened to be there. It felt like every misfortune in your life was tied to the agency and they were just pulling you back. Being held hostage was actually nice, sure you had to be under surveillance by some Guild member, normally this was one of two young men, John Steinbeck or Mark Twain, and they were nice enough. But honestly Fitzgerald had you treated very well, not like any other hostage situations you have been in.
“Well while they pull themselves together I have a proposal for you.” Fitzgerald said as the maid went to get your drinks. “The only real reason you’re here is because that’s the only way I could discuss this with you.”
“Smart, but the legal ramifications of it will be-“
“Extreme, I can deal with that, nothing a bit of money can’t erase.” He cut you off, chuckling under his breath. “You know the dirt of the Armed Detective Agency, if you start working for me I can get you out.”
“You want me to betray the agency?”
“I’ve seen your employment records, you have quit from there multiple times, but have always come back within two weeks. Correct me if I’m wrong but you’re trapped and want to get out.”
He was right, you couldn’t even lie about that. You wanted to get out, the detective agency was only going to be a temporary job while you discussed potential employment with law firms in Yokohama and even Tokyo. Those few weeks turned into months, and those months into years, and not one of those law firms wanted to take you, almost that they were afraid of you. You had your suspicions after Dazai was smiling a little too wide after you received another letter of rejection, but you could never confirm it. Your hands curled into fists, grabbing the fabric of the skirt you were wearing.
“…that’s correct.”
“I thought so, well if you agree to this, you will be free from the agency, I will be sure to get U.S. citizenship for you within the week if you so wish for it, and law firms lined up with jobs for you, or if you’d like you could continue work for the Guild and you could have more money than you would know what to do with.” The maid finally came, setting your drinks on the coffee table between the two of you. Fitzgerald picks up your drink and hands it to you and then his cup of tea and takes a long sip. “You’re free to reject, but if you do you’ll have to deal with the agency again, likely for the rest of your life-”
“Deal.” You never answered faster in your life, if you got away from the agency you would be free to spend your life how you wanted. Fitzgerald smiled, but his eyes had a dangerous glint to them.
“Prove it.”
He wanted dirt, so what could you give them? Kenji, Kunikida, Atsushi, Ranpo, and the Tanizaki siblings had next to nothing on them, The President had his past as an assassin, then Yosano who had a bit of a past in the war, there was Dazai with- actually you wouldn’t dare expose that out of fear for your life. Who was left?
Your stomach sank in realization…
But you couldn’t keep living like this…
“Kyoka Izumi, she used to be in the Port Mafia, she was used as an assassin due to her ability and killed a total of 35 people in 6 months.”
You heard the phone ring again, as if almost on cue with your words. You jumped slightly as if you got caught exposing your deepest darkest secret. You watched as Fitzgerald leaned over and picked up the phone and answered as you sipped on your drink in an attempt to calm your nerves. You could hear Fukuzawa say something on the other end of the line, something about an amount of money but Fitzgerald cut him off.
“There has been some changes to the deal old sport, see it seems Miss (Name) doesn’t want to work for you anymore so I have no use for her a hostage anymore.” You watched as Fitzgerald reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a gun, you felt like you were about to be sick. He did not aim it at you though, just at a wall and he shot it off… he made it seem like you died. “Goodbye.”
You could hear the yelling like last time on the other end of the line as he hung up, only now it was panicked and worried, but no matter how much you tried you couldn’t make out the voice of Dazai, that alone made you scared.
Fitzgerald picked up his tea cup again and raised it up in a toast. “Here to new beings.”
With your mind being elsewhere, both in fear, guilt, and relief, you could only manage a small. “ya.”
You did not know what would happen next but at least now you were free, you had your life back again and that was worth celebrating…
“Welcome to the Guild, Miss (Name).”

It didn't surprise her when Dazai Osamu became an actress and debuted as an idol the taller girl have always been such a good liar, charming, conniving and charismatic, as long as she known her she have always been with someone but she only let a few peoples close amongst them her precious odasaku.
While after graduating university all that chuuya wanted was to get away as far as possible from her former rival, she even accepted her brother offer to live with him in Paris for that goal but she was like a pest who wouldn't leave her even in paris, she had to be subjected to dazai face.
She tried her best to avoid any mention of dazai but it was impossible sadly the mackerel tricked load of peoples not only in japan but in the whole world to think that she was someone worth admiring . When she logged in to her social network or watched TV, when she crossed the street and saw the billboard and even when she was with her friends or coworker, the stupid fish was everywhere, it was impossible to escape her not that she didn't try , it took her years but finally, she managed to do that and spent a blissful year without news of dazai.
But when she accepted kouyou ane-san plea to work for her in Yokohama, having dazai be her new roommate wasn't part of the deal, wasn't she an hotshot celebrity who was rich enough to have her own place ? So what the hell was she doing answering to her announce ???
Maybe her bad habit caught up to her how pitiful. Still it's fishy how everyone who were interested by her announce will suddendly all cancel their offer.
So she was forced to have dazai as an high maintenance and clingy roommate the woman even brought her lawyers for her contract which she suppose that it's reasonable to want to insure that she can't tell anyone that she live with her, the other's have always been paranoid after all.
Still buying the whole building to ensure that she won't kick her out was over the top and if she though of kicking the other girl out well she's well within her right damnit, the lazy fish don't even clean and when she does it's a disaster nor does she cook, she also like to make creepy prank giggling like a madwoman while she's doing it.
It's right that she will buy her clothes, expensive wine like petrus and all that she desire even going as far as to install a wine cellar in the appartment but she's neither moved nor feel indebted to her when she also have to suffer throught her putting vinegar in her wine or trying to destroy her hat collection.
The worse is that every time that she bring someone home boys or girls like the peoples that the flags set her up with , she'll ruin it even when she's careful to not bring anyone home when she's here.
It's not just their arrangement, dazai is notoriously picky with her work and it surprised everyone when they announced that she will be the face of ozaki with nakahara chuuya as the stylist and fashion designer in charge of her, she wanted to refuse but kyouka-chan was unfortunately fooled by the mackerel and is a fan of her nor her nor ane-san had the heart to refuse when kyouka was so happy to hear the news.
Her adoring fans will cry if they know that the intouchable cold beauty but charming and refreshing that she's known for is in fact clingy, annoying and as sly as a fox.
Still it's not bad caring for her pet fish surprisingly they're wasn't any murder but she find himself with a possessive, clingy mummy as a girlfriend.

— risky game.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
》 context. chuuya x lawyer! reader (fem) - beast! au
》 warnings. attempted suggestive writing ; possibly ooc chuuya; expletives; purely self-indulgent lol
》 notes. you can read minds besties; also, new layout!
》 blurb. as expected, you manage to land an audience with one of the port mafia's executives―nakahara chuuya. you're willing to go to the depths of hell and back to force information out of his pretty little head.
at least that is the plan.
Tumblr media
the headquarters of the port mafia is a place you hate with all the fiber of your being; a place you'd rather die than step into. the hallways are just too dark, the floors are too polished, and the executive—sitting with all his glory in front of you—is too tantalizingly ravishing.
he doesn't heed your otherwise poignant gaze, reclining on his expensive sofa with an equally expensive cigar sitting on his lips.
‎ ‎
"so," his gaze tilts to yours, "to what do i owe the visit of the lovely company?"
‎ ‎
you close your eyes, ignoring the way those azure eyes seem to strip you bare—no. conceal any fear. focus on what the mafia executive has in mind.
‎ ‎
"hm?" he stops puffing the cigar.
"why the silent treatment? do i look scary? he tuts, the mocking smile still plastered on his mouth. "i'd say i look handsome."
your lips bloom to a plastic smile.
"very funny."
"are you mocking me?"
the sun is setting, its golden light replaced by the twinkle of yokohama's night lights. things are shifting; you've walked straight to the wolves' den, and wolves hunt their prey at night time.
you? you're a sheep. but even a sheep can wear a wolf's clothing.
"no," you force yourself to ignore his rising tone, settling on the chair opposite the mafioso. "you are attractive, i admit."
at the very least, it wasn't a lie.
chuuya raises a brow, then the usual smug smile plastered itself back on his pretty face. you hated that. you hate how he keeps on making that breathy chuckle, how he mockingly eyes you like you're some toy waiting to be played with.
‎ ‎
"hey, what's your name?"
hell. as if he hasn't had his lackeys jot down your name and family.
"you can refer to me as you wish."
"is that so?" his eyes twinkle with arrogant mischief, "how about.. 'miss 'i am madly in love with nakahara chuuya''?
what an ass. it was one compliment.
"sure, if it helps you sleep at night."
a glint of amusement. he removes his cigar from his mouth, blowing the smoke in one languid breath. a light breeze; potent nicotine caresses your face.
anticipation bubbles in your stomach, but no. stand down. one wrong step, and you'll be wringing your own neck.
wielding faux confidence, you reach for one of the fresh cigars sitting in his golden box.
"i've never smoked before," the panatela sits snugly on your fingers. "what's so good about this, other than shortening your life, anyway?"
"take a puff, doll," his voice rumbles deep from his chest, muddled by the heavy smoke of his expensive cigar. "i'd be happy to teach you. even if it's your first time."
damn him.
fate gave you the ability to peek through someone's musings, and it didn't even need that to pick up his indecorous insinuation.
foul. inappropriate.
"you'd be happy to teach me. even if it's my first time, huh?" you put the unlit cigar back into its case, keeping your attention rapt on those sharp, arrogant azure eyes. "you seem to be very relaxed in my presence, mr. executive."
‎ ‎
"it seems that you're very relaxed in my presence too, miss 'i'm madly in love with nakahara chuuya," he says, voice low.
"you're still on with that, pretty boy?"
"i ain't seeing you denying, sweetheart."
the room is now reduced to dead silence. the tension picks up, but the rush of blood in your ears blocks everything.
no. no. you are running out of time. the mafia executive won't like silence, not when it's your playground and personal intel landmine.
"what do you want?" he taunts, this time with an edge present in his voice.
"well," you drawl, "wouldn't mr. big bad mafia know?"
"i don't have time to play around, woman."
'me too, scum.'
"the sentiment is mutual. you're not the only big bad one here."
his lips twist to another smile, cold, unnerving. "is that a threat?"
"it's a warning," you mimic his confidence.
the air has gotten heavier, condensed, as if gravity itself is avid on suffocating your chest. those sharp azure eyes remain steeled in your form.
no. stall.
"..relax, i'm just kidding." you manage a quip, voice barely shaking.
"are you?"
"you don't believe me, sweetheart?"
his gaze drops for a glimpse second, before it returns to your unwavering eyes. his cigar now lay unattended without its fire, disposed and forgotten.
a waste. but not when he's found something far more intriguing than a measly roll of tobacco.
"you are quite an interesting woman"
"glad to know i caught a mafia executive's interest."
"-and very bold," he adds.
"tell me, mr. executive," you raise from your seat, gliding to where the mafia executive reclines, "do you like them bold? or meek? hmm?
it's a risky game. but chuuya doesn't stop you. no. you should have stopped yourself. it's risky. but you find your hands treading over the smooth leather of the luxurious furniture, your attention on the depths of his blue, unfathomable irises, then yourself on the cradles of the criminal's lap.
"I think bold women are quite fun," his lips morph into a smirk, a hand sneaking itself on a loose loop on your waist.
"they make things... interesting."
there's no going out of this, isn't it?
"let's ask you a question," he starts, voice far more sultry and sweet, so arrogant, intoxicating. "who are you?"
"that's a good question. who might i be?"
you seize the measly seconds of silence to peek into his pretty little head. vague sensitive information leaks to your ears, all in fear it might truly leak into you—an unknown party with unknown motives.
but it cuts short. and you now hear yourself on chuuya's mind.
his attention follows the index finger trailing down his chest- yours.
"what will you do," your finger trails downward, bumping the buttons of his waistcoat.
no.
"-if i say i'm the woman of your dreams?"
it wasn't supposed to go like this.
hell, you knew you shouldn't have taken a drink this afternoon. whoever said liquor is liquid courage can die in a ditch because it's working too damn well.
"you... surely make things interesting, alright." the mafioso's voice rumbles like a warning thunder before a violent storm.
‎ ‎
"i'm curious.." he whispers to your neck, lips barely grazing your now warm skin.
"can you handle it?"
"handle what, i wonder?" you dare a quip.
his voice and tone send chills down your spine- down your stomach, under. you blame the liquor, by the god! you are going to blame the liquor, the smell of nicotine, or whatever nakahara chuuya is doing to you.
"me." he exhales, and you can feel your own breath hitch.
"you are playing a dangerous game, mr. executive."
"we are" he laughs, "and we're playing by my rules."
"alright." one of your hands now grasps onto his shoulder, chest barely pressed against each other's. "what's the rule, mr. executive?"
"it's simple."
you can feel his hold on your waist tightens, caging, controlling.
"don't fall in love with me."
smooth bastard.
"you won't lose the game, won't you, lawyer?"
you move forward, pressing a whisper on his ears. "why don't we try and find out, bastard?
something turns in his eyes, and you can only hope you aren't digging your own grave.
"let's play."
Tumblr media
endnotes.
i know, chuuya only smokes when he is stressed. is he ooc? most likely! well, i'll be honest. i have no idea what's happening either. i'll leave the rest to your imagination, and i'll be fading out of existence if you need me👍

Upcoming Takarazuka/Great Ace Attorney Musical
Takarazuka Revue, a long-standing all-female theater troupe in Japan, was the first to do an adaptation of Ace Attorney in 2009, with their two musicals Ace Attorney: The Truth Reborn (a musical loosely based on Rise from the Ashes) and Ace Attorney 2: The Truth Reborn Again (a musical loosely based on Farewell my Turnabout). This was followed in 2013 by a Miles Edgeworth-centric musical involving time travel.
Now, ten years since Takarazuka’s last attempt to bring Ace Attorney to musical life, they’re returning with a fourth musical (link goes to official Capcom announcement in Japanese), this time based off of the Great Ace Attorney games.
Like the previous three musicals, this will be performed by Takarazuka’s Cosmos Troupe. It will also be directed by Suzuki Kei, who directed the other three Ace Attorney musicals. According to the official Takarazuka page, as of right now, they plan two runs in July and August 2023:
July 19th - July 26th 2023 at the Umeda Arts Theater in Osaka, Japan
August 1st - August 8th 2023 at the KAAT Kanagawa Arts Theater in Yokohama, Japan
So far, cast lists have not been announced, except that the actress Rukaze Hikaru will be playing the lead role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, and judging by the synopsis, Susato Mikotoba and Herlock Sholmes will also be present.
A (google translated) synopsis from the Takarazuka page (with minor modifications + square bracket notes for clarity):
A stage adaptation of the blockbuster "Great Gyakuten Saiban" [Great Ace Attorney] featuring Ryunosuke Naruhodo, the ancestor of Ryuichi Naruhodo [Phoenix Wright]! Set in a courtroom, the game "Gyakuten Saiban" is a popular series that has sold more than 9.8 million copies in total. The unique characters and intricately crafted storylines have garnered tremendous support, and have been mixed in media such as movies and TV animations, not limited to games. In the Takarazuka Revue, after its first performance in Sora [Cosmos] Troupe in 2009, "Ace Attorney 2" was performed in the same year, and "Ace Attorney 3" was performed in 2013, both of which were very popular works. Ryunosuke Naruhodo, a college student who aspires to become a lawyer, goes from the Empire of Japan in the Meiji era to study abroad in the British Empire with the World Exposition just around the corner, in order to learn about the latest judicial system. Ryunosuke, who is involved in one difficult case after another, stands up for his client with judicial assistant Susato, but the great detective of the century, Sherlock Holmes, appears... From the famous line "There is an objection!"
From this synopsis, there is little information on what specific cases may be loosely adapted, or what other similarities the musical may share with the games.
To clarify for English-speaking AA fans, as I understand it, Takarazuka does not translate their plays, so any fans who are interested will have to either wait for fan subtitles or find a way to watch a recording (possibly dvd release, if they’ll do that for this one) without them.
I’ll try to update this post as new information is released. Please let me know if there is anything that I missed or is incorrect that you would like me to add.

Mina's Thoughts on Third Members
Tumblr media
Saburo Yamada
"Is it bad to say that I see Saburo-kun as a mix between Yorii and Elliot? Not to say I don't love my younger brothers, because I do. But if you took Elliot's intellect and combined it with Yorii's arrogance, you'd pretty much have Saburo-kun. ...Although I don't know how much of his personality can be attributed to arrogance. When he isn't putting himself on a pedestal, he's putting his oldest brother, Ichiro-san, on one. It's good that he cares much for his older brother. He and I are of the same mind on that. But he should be careful that his love for him doesn't grow into worship."
Rio Mason Busujima
"I don't venture to Yokohama much, unless it's to get something to eat. After seeing how that city is run and much less the team running it, I don't really care much for that place. Rio-san would have to be the main exception. Elliot's told me that he helped when he ventured into Yokohama (I wish he would have told me he was going there, by the way). He seems... okay. A stark contrast to his teammates. ...Still, I have to wonder how Elliot can eat this man's food. I got on Yorii for throwing it out when it was for Elliot, but... perhaps next time, I can get Elliot to put it somewhere else..."
Dice Arisugawa
"I don't mind the Shibuya team all that much, but this guy has to be the one member of the team that I dislike. He spends so much time begging for money, only to go and waste it in a casino with hopes that he'll somehow "strike it rich". I'm holding out hope that he matures with age and grows out of this mindset, but... well, if he winds up dead someday, I'm not going to be surprised."
Doppo Kannonzaka
"I love Yorii, but I really wish he'd stop teasing Elliot so much. He says its his way of 'toughing him up', but I don't think so. Lately, he's been comparing Elliot to Doppo-san from Shinjuku. He says that if Elliot doesn't start fighting back against the idiots at school who bother him, then Doppo-san is who he will eventually turn into. ...While I won't say Yorii-kun is wrong, he could have phrased it a different way. But I suppose that's Yorii for you..."
Rei Ayamado
"...This man feels me with bad spirits, which is ironic since I already have a malevolent being inside of me. Both Elliot and Yorii think they've seen him before, and... I don't know why, but I get the feeling I've seen him, as well. I don't know what it is about him that makes me feel ill at ease, but... I don't like it. Fair warning to him, if he tries anything here in Setagaya, to me or my siblings, I'm bleeding him dry..."
Hitoya Amaguni
"I've heard of this lawyer, though I don't know him. He apparently will do any case for the right price, but when it comes to cases involving bullying, he'll do it for free. Elliot has thought of going to him, but I've told him not to. Not because I trust this lawyer, but because he doesn't need anyone else to worry about bullies. If they're bothering him, he just needs to come to me, and I'll set those idiots straight. ...I know I can't be for Elliot all the time, but I want him to know he can depend on me when he needs too."

Sunday Six
Goooood morning yall, it's sunday again. This week I have something from a little project I've had on the backburner. I shan't give away too much, but there is a little clue in there as to who exactly is involved in this one.
Tagging: @mike----wazowski @overdevelopedglasses @skysquid22 @woundedheartwithin @fragilitease @passthroughtime @ohayouasagohan
“Aniki, what’s good?” Higashi greeted over the phone, his tone chipper as always. It made Kaito smile. “You busy tonight?”
“Nah,” Kaito said, “Yagami’s got some business down in Yokohama and we ain’t got any cases anyway. What’s up? You sound like you want to get into trouble.”
“It’s always trouble with you,” Higashi said with a chuckle. “You hear about that new restaurant? Watatsumi?”
“The fancy one?”
“Yeah, well, a buddy of mine had an invitation to go to the preview tonight,” Higashi said, “but he and his girl are both sick. Said I could go and take someone in his place.”
“And you called me?” Kaito said incredulously. “Ain’t you seeing that lawyer? Take her!”
Higashi was quiet for a beat too long before he said, “She’s busy with a case.”
“You haven’t even asked her.”
“Come on, aniki, it’ll be fun. You could use the culture anyway.”
“This feels like a set-up,” Kaito said, narrowing his gaze which was settled on the coffee table in front of him.
“You’re really going to turn down good seafood?” Higashi said. Kaito sighed. He’d pulled out the big guns.
“Fine,” Kaito grumbled, “but I’m kicking your ass if it ain’t you waiting for me there.”

*feeding the obsession* what exactly is hypmic anyway?
oh lord
sorry if this is bad synopsis i'm bad at writing thoughts out and sleepyy (<- fell asleep in the middle of writing this last night)
it's a multimedia project and the main story is told through drama tracks but there's a manga adaptation, anime, rhythm game with insane non canon side stories, and a stage play!!
So after wwiii killed like 1/5 of the world, a political party made up of all women took over the japanese government, established an all female district, and banned all weapons except for hypnosis microphones. The microphones can like attack people's nervous systems via lyrics. They also start up the division rap battles where teams of rappers from each of the divisions fight for supremacy over the others.
There's 6 division groups made of 3 members each and they're all insane in their own unique ways!! The divisions are:
Buster Bros!!! -> Ikebukuro Division
MAD TRIGGER CREW -> Yokohama Division
Fling Posse -> Shibuya Division
Matenro -> Shinjuku Division (the one hifumi is in ^^)
after the first division rap battle 2 more divisions were added:
Dotsuitare Hompo -> Osaka Division
Bad Ass Temple -> Nagoya Division
Lots of them have like history with each other ranging from brothers, ex group members (lots of those), childhood friends, parent/ child, ex manzai partners, uhh weird homeless guy that one of them dragged back to his campsite and feeds occasionally?
The characters are kinda all over the place and I adore it!! I saw a review of the anime that said 'we’re watching working professionals stuck in the rap circuit.' and yea,, there's a bunch of adult men with mostly normal jobs (couple teenagers too). But yea let's throw a doctor, lawyer, author, ex- soldier, monk, teacher, fashion designer, vkei musician, salaryman, yakuza, comedian, whatever it is that ichiro does, conman, host, corrupt cop, and gambler (not a job) at each other and make them rap and just see what happens 乁[ ◕ ᴥ ◕ ]ㄏ
The story is kinda insane but i love when a story makes me feel like i'm going crazy! i find it a little corny sometimes but i'm having lots of fun with it!!
currently they're releasing eps for each group with solo songs and a drama track on them leading up to the 3rd division rap battle!!!
these men are doing something to my brain and i can't fucking stop it

Mireya's Thoughts on Third Members
Tumblr media
Saburo Yamada
"The youngest of the Yamada brothers, and the youngest participant in the D.R.B. to date. Not to criticize Ichiro, but I wonder what was going through his mind when he let his youngest brother join. I mean, far be it for me to judge. After all, despite his age, the boy raps very well. Plus, he's far smarter than most children his own age (and adults, sadly enough). Still, I hope he takes care not to get hurt in this competition."
Rio Mason Busujima
"Zakari actually brought some of this man's food home once from his trip in Yokohama. I'm not entirely sure how they met, but apparently, the army man gave my son some food to bring back with him. It was... interesting, to say the least. Not exactly the tastiest food I've ever eaten, but... far from the worst. Still, perhaps he should do better with making the food look more... presentable."
Dice Arisugawa
"Ugh, not to quote my husband, but I don't approve of my son's friendship with this young man, either. He comes around my nightclub every time he is in town, and immediately heads straight to the casino, losing almost every game he plays. If not for my son enabling him, which, by the way, I do not condone, I'd hate to see where this young man would end up. If you're going to gamble son, you should, at least, make sure you have enough cash left in your pocket for you to have something to eat afterward."
Doppo Kannonzaka
"I don't want to judge someone, especially if they are as hard-working as Doppo. But I can't help but feel that he might be a glutton for punishment. What other reason is there for him to be working in a place that treats him as little more than a slave? He reminds me so much of myself when I was younger. Oh, I had a fake smile on my face, but inwardly, I hated every second of my life. And my mom's lifestyle didn't make it any easier. Eventually, I just got fed up with it and just let all my anger and frustration out. Doppo should take a page out of my book and do the same to his co-workers and boss."
Rei Amayado
"I mirror my husband's opinion on this man. Something about him doesn't sit right with me. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that he's constantly planning something or the dangerous glint in his eyes. But really, I think it may have something to do with the fact that he left three young boys on their own while he went and joined the government to do, who-knows-what. ...I'll say this now: if he tries anything in my club, important government official or not, I'm throwing him, not just out of my club, but out of my city."
Hitoya Amaguni
"A famous lawyer. From what I hear, he'll do bullying cases pro bono. I don't think there should come a time when we'll ever need his services, but it's good to know we have a lawyer just in case. ...But then again, I've heard about a female lawyer who lives in Ueno who also has a fierce reputation. ...Well, it's good to know we have options, I guess."

Tomi's Thoughts on Hamamatsu Division
Tumblr media
Nellie Yukimura
"I've heard of this fellow. He works as a journalist for some obscure newspaper. No doubt it's probably filled with useless dribble that peasants would find interesting. Other than that, I know nothing else about this peon. From what Hino found out, he apparently is working alongside that lawyer woman from Ueno for something. Ugh, that's just great..."
Eden Yamamura
"Hmm... this young man has the same surname as the librarian that my younger brother is part of. So, I take it this is his younger brother? Hmm... looks like both of us have troublesome younger siblings to look after. ...But at least my younger brother, at the very least, knows a modicum of self-respect and decorum. Just a shame he doesn't utilize it..."
Kaede Iwasawa
"He may be the only one from this team that I am familiar with. However, that's due more so because of his parents. Both of them were, perhaps, the greatest opera singers that Aoyama had seen in a very long while. That's why it was such a shock to hear that they, along with this man's entire family, was slaughtered by some strange individuals. I've currently had Hino looking into any and all information on suspicious people entering Aoyama, but so far, nothing has come up, which is frustrating."
"One thing that I have to say that is worrying about this young man is the fact that he is dating that corrupt cop from Yokohama. I worry if his parents knew about his relationship with that cop. If they didn't, then shame on him for disparaging their memory like this by being with someone like that filthy cop."
Trickstar
"Ugh, even this team name sounds common. 'Trickstar'? Bleh. Besides that, I wonder if this team was created to counteract the Kumamoto team. Ha. It'll be interesting to see what will happen if they clash. My brother had better be careful not to lose. If anyone but me takes him out of the tournament, I'm going to be thoroughly disappointed."

What is Chuuya's opinion of each member of the Armed Detective Agency?
I'm going to assume that this is mainly in regards to actual Canon and not any individual muse interpretations so here goes...
Tumblr media
Chuuya's Opinions On The Agency
Tumblr media
First thing to note is that even though he can seem a bit of a hard-ass, Chuuya's opinions are a little bit flexible (and largely determined by events at the time and Mori's orders). He's never dead set on what he thinks of them, though overall, he thinks the Agency is a bit hypocritical and unfairly praised in the public eye.
After all, the Port Mafia ( / Mori Corporation) has done a lot to protect Yokohama from external threats (arguably, Chuuya alone has done more to protect Yokohama just when he was 16 than the Agency has probably done in its entire career up until the Moby Dick incident ; never mind the rest of the Port Mafia. And Akutagawa was just as responsible for protecting the city from the Moby Dick, but as far as we see, its only Atsushi and the Agency that get praised in the papers).
He also sees the Agency and the public as hypocrites since the Agency technically involves itself in vigilante gang warfare (see: the gang the Agency retaliated against for attacking Cafe Uzumaki, and all the gangs around Yokohama that are blatantly terrified of going against them because the Agency retaliates violently). Its not so much the retaliation that he has a problem with, so much as it is that its treated differently than when the Port Mafia retaliates. The Agency gets public awards, while the Port Mafia are regarded as criminals for doing the same exact things.
The Port Mafia gets away with it because they have a strong network of lawyers and other such people in place to fight / pay off the courts and authorities to turn a blind eye.
The Agency gets away with it because they're the Agency and tote around the "good guy" label.
On a personal level, I wouldn't say he hates them exactly. More just that he finds them to be rather obnoxious and likes to mock them on the regular (he often refers to them as "Toddlers") to be petty and derogatory.
On a professional level, he's loyal to Mori's whims. If Mori says they're allies today, then they're allies today. If Mori tells Chuuya to crush them out of existence tomorrow, he'll do so without hesitation. That's his promise to Mori as his second-in-command.
Tumblr media
Fukuzawa
He's generally neutral towards him, though he knows quite a bit more about Fukuzawa's history than your average person through Mori, and views it as "hypocrisy trickles down from the top". That's not to say though he doesn't have at least a little bit of neutral respect for the guy. He knows first hand how hard it can be to run an organization reliably, even a small one.
Ranpo
He used to be fairly neutral towards him, only knowing him by reputation, until the Cannibalism events. Then he got stuck in that book and left there to find his own way out long after Ranpo managed to escape. He's even more peeved because it happened while Mori's life was still in danger, and there's nothing Chuuya hates more than being helpless to protect his people or his Boss. His feelings can be summed up in 3 words: Fuck That Guy. He really wants to pummel him properly.
Kunikida
Likewise fairly neutral, though he's heard quite a bit (through Dazai, obviously) how he can be a bit of a volatile hard-ass and pain in the neck (naturally, because Dazai is an unreliable narrator about his role in things like that, Chuuya just assumes by default that its entirely deserved). Following events with the Hunting Dogs though, he does have to admit he's pretty ballsy though. Almost blowing yourself up to save the rest of your organization takes some guts most people don't have.
Yosano
He's had very little contact with her (though he's heard plenty from Mori since her Ability is so coveted). However, after the one run-in he did have with her when the Three Way Conflict with the Guild was in full swing, he definitely thinks she belongs with / would fit in well with the mafia with how sadistic she is against her enemies purely on principle.
Kenji
He's actually fairly friendly with him (I mean how can you not be? This is Kenji after all). Moreover, he's actually impressed with him, which is a rare feat, given that Kenji is capable of tanking his kicks with hardly a scratch or bruise to speak of. The fact that Kenji also complimented his Ability AND his hat certainly doesn't hurt things. He really wants to fight him purely on the basis that he's curious about how well his Ability and Kenji's would match up in power, rather than out of hostility. Its not every day he finds another Ability user who can take his blows to give him an actual challenge or fun time.
Tanizaki
He's barely met the guy, though he does have some mixed feelings. On the one hand, the guy tried (and nearly succeeded, more than anyone else) to assassinate his Boss during the Cannibalism events, and he really doesn't like that. On the other hand, his Ability would be real handy to have in the hit squad / Black Lizards if the Agency decided to make him the person they traded to the Port Mafia in exchange for helping them against the Hunting Dogs. He clearly has the willingness to assassinate people with it already.
Dazai
Do I even need to spell it out? He's still pissed at Dazai for a lot of things - the list is too long to put here. He hates him now more than ever after he defected from the mafia. He hates that Mori still has a "place" for him set in reserve afterwards. He's also still the only person who can allow him to use Corruption safely, and Chuuya still trusts Dazai not to let him die in action if circumstances force them to work together. Which naturally means he hates and is irritated with Dazai even more.
Kyouka
He's tentatively friendly towards her, being that she used to be Port Mafia, and is important to Kouyou. He's well aware that the Port Mafia simply wasn't good for her, nor was being forced to kill people repeatedly when she's only 14, so he doesn't hold any hard feelings towards her leaving (and her leaving was sanctioned by one of the Executives, so he doesn't count her as a traitor). That said, she's no longer Port Mafia and with the Agency, so he'll put the organization first and won't hold back if Mori orders him to go up against her in battle.
Atsushi
He's heard a lot of things about him, but they really haven't met. He just knows he's newer to the Agency and has worked with Akutagawa a handful of times similar to how he and Dazai sometimes work together, and he knows Dazai wants to make the two of them the next generation of Double Black.

Yuno’s Thoughts On Division Leaders
Tumblr media
Ichiro Yamada
“Yamada? Yes, Of course I know him. ‘The super-famous delinquent of Ikebukuro’ as they say apparently. Labels aside, Truly he’s a good brother figure to Jiro-san and Saburo-san, That makes sense considering they’re very attached to him, Like 2 heavy magnets if you will. It’s nice to be able to cross paths with him whenever I visit sometimes, Just seeing him makes my worries mostly dissolve into nothing. Other than that, He’s a great person to rather be around and I hope the DRB comes along soon so I can battle him someday…”
Samatoki Aohitsugi
“Aohitsugi, Here we go…I’m on the fence to be completely honest. Yes, He often resorts to violence, but he’s also ‘calm’ If somebody doesn’t ‘trigger’ him? Talk about a short/long fuse dynamic we have here. Anyway, Eko rather knows more about him than I do, Take all of M.T.C for that matter. Not only is the team very ‘edgy’, But so is Yokohama (I shouldn’t be surprised.) Crime running for hours on end, I could never survive a position like that, even if my own life depended on it to tell the truth. Overall, Aohitsugi’s a big mystery to me, So I’ll ask Eko more about him instead.”
Ramuda Amemura
“Amemura, Amemura, He’s also a big mystery. From my time in Chuohku, He just seemed ‘lonely’ or ‘captive’ around the place, Like a lonely ghost wanting to return to the living so badly he’d give up his own soul to be reborn…It’s a unsettling feeling to feel. But as he’s out in Shibuya, He’s something else completely. Like Eko, One thing most of the time and another thing the next and switches between them for the situation. Aside from that, He’s an entity I’m unaware of and I don’t have too much on him.”
Jakurai Jinguji
“Jinguji-san, I know him yes. At first glance, I didn’t know what to expect. I get it, a genius doctor wrapped in an aura of mystery? Wasn’t expecting that. But, He’s greatly a good figure. I’m very happy that Mai-Mai has taken a liking to him. He’s like an elder brother to them almost, Old as time, but has a heart of gold wherever he goes. I’m also glad both of them find solace together, but I’m a tad bit jealous of that to be honest. All in all, Jinguji-san is a good person and I will stay on great terms with him.”
Sasara Nurude
“Nurude-san, Where to start here…Ah, I know. Back on OverDrives ‘Big Escape From Chuohku’ years ago, Osaka was strangely our last destination. Eko may have already told you this, But he by total accident met Nurude-san. I didn’t know any of the sort while Mai-san and I were waiting outside the theatre and he was in there for a while. As we were walking back to the next train, He randomly started tirading on him. He seems interesting enough, So I guess I’ll have to meet him sometime…”
Kuko Harai
“Lastly…Harai-? Like Eko and Mai-san, I barely know him. Honestly, I don’t know what to say about this guy at all. He’s a monk, but has the mind of a tweenager? That’s a strange piece of character for me. His team is, Okay I guess. Visual-Kei musician and a ‘50 looking’ Lawyer…Interesting. There’s not much to say here, He always looks like he’s wanting a fight with somebody, So I guess I can return that favour at least.”

After a particulary devastating use of corruption who put chuuya in a long work stoppage chuuya was bored out of his mind but what really motivated him was a conversation with Dazai Osamu which became a bet.
Spite is one hell of a motivator, it's what powered nakahara chuuya of all peoples to take the law bar exam and acing it.
Mori ougai, ozaki kouyou, Paul Verlaine and hirotsu ryuuro we're supporting in helping him.
But his first client wasn't the mafia or even civilian, it ended up being someone who is blacklisted by all lawyers in Yokohama and away, the agency doctor herself yosano Akiko, he was led on this case by the government.
Yosano Akiko trashed on broad delight a pervert who tried to grope her and as luck would have it , they're was journalist nearby who filmed the scene, it was hard for the agency to find a lawyer so it's how chuuya found himself having to defend his former enemy.
One of Yosano demand to accept him was that she didn't see or heard of boss which he agree to in exchange of making his demand that nor dazai or the agency detective came within the trial.
It ended up being a win and suddendly he find himself having more contact with the agency not only as yosano permanent lawyer but also to bail out the others members out of prison notably in a case when someone managed to have accused the agency linchpin of a crime, which he was ready to refuse when he heard who was his client but he got goaded into it by the trio of menace.
For a bunch of goody two shoes the agency fucker sure have a knack to have trouble with autority, he even had to bail out dazai's new partner.
Talking about the idiot, his worst case and that he would never admit even in his head to be one of the reason why he took the Law exam was that after the fight with the decay of angel even if the agency was cleared of all charge, dazai wasn't free of his legal trouble, he had to defend him so that he didn't get sent back in prison while not incriminating himself and while the break out of meursault was added to dazai's crime.
In the end after a difficult trial while the mackerel was so annoying, he managed to reduce dazai sentence to some years of community service which even if he find the idea of dazai helping grandma cross the street or having to taking out trash hillarious, It was his work in the agency who became his community service.
The agency don't pay well and are annoying but he found himself becomming their official lawyer which cause problem for his role of the lawyer of port mafia and mori corporation, especially when he had trial like motojirou kajii vs yosano akiko and both want him as their lawyer.
Well business is booming but maybe too much is that he end up with all the craziest trial at least it's never boring.

Reika's Thoughts on 3rd Members
Tumblr media
Saburo Yamada
“Here he is the youngest one of the bunch. Same as his brothers I met him when I dropped off Kiyohime for them to watch while I was on a trip. His personality leaves much to be desired but surprisingly he was the one most fascinated by Kiyohime. He did a deep dive into how to care for snakes and knew things that even I wasn't aware of. Well, he's certainly Kiyohime’s favorite brother now after that.”
Rio Mason Busujima
“Ah, Rio surprisingly the member of Yokohama I like the most. He was there as well when I was dealing with those idiots who think they could mess with me. Rio was quite the gentleman and even lent me the use of his encampment to freshen myself up. Afterward, he offered me food something that Samatoki and Iruma seemed terrified of. I am not one to pass up the offer of free food. I spent too many nights going hungry as a child to do that. I'm not even sure what their issue was anyways Rio’s food may look unappealing but I found it was quite delicious.”
Dice Arisugawa
“Dice Arisagawa…son of our illustrious prime minister himself. I met him once at a gala years ago before he ran away.” Reika clicks her tongue. “What a turn of events your life has been Arisugawa. Born with everything you could ever want but deprived of a mother's love. An interesting parallel to my own. Born in the slums barely affording a shitty one room apartment but with a mother that loved me with all her heart. Now here we are opposites of what we started as. I am now one of the wealthiest women in the nation and you are nothing more than a homeless gambler. Funny how life works out like that.”
Doppo Kannonzaka
“I can't help but wonder if this guy is a masochist. He has to be. What normal person would stay at a job that treats them like a piece of shit for as long as he has? You’d think he’d get another job. It's funny. When I was younger back before everything when to shit. I had plans. I was going to get an education, work an office job, and claw my way to the top even if it killed me. Anything to escape the poverty I had grown up in.  Anything so Mama didn't have to be a prostitute anymore. Shame how things don't work the way you planned.” Reika sighs. “I digress Doppo looks like he is about to collapse from exhaustion. Someone needs to give this man a vacation before he works himself to an early grave.”
Rei Amayado
“Ah yes, I know men like him very well. Arrogant and pompous sleazeballs. They don't care who they destroy as long as they get what they want. My first husband was like that and look what happened to him. Now normally that would be enough for him to end up on my bad side.” Reika snarls. “This man however is the one responsible for Kanon’s accident all those years ago. Fucking bastard doesn't even care how Kanon’s life was shattered because of his actions. I swear if I see him I’ll personally rip his eye out of his socket.”
Hitoya Amaguni
“Bleh, a lawyer. As if I already didn’t have issues with the justice system and another lawyer is just what I need like Yuzairu wasn't enough. No thanks, I rather not deal with the law any longer than I have to. So long as he stays in Nagoya far away from we're good.”

Hypnosis Mic -D.R.B.- Rule the Stage (Sakurai Clan vs. MAD TRIGGER CREW)
Synopsis:
With the day of the D.R.B. slowly approaching, the Ueno Division team is nervous but feels mentally and physically prepared as they dedicate the majority of their time to training, honing their rap skills and abilities for the trials and challenges ahead.
One day, whilst shooting the breeze until practice time, Aranai Norikoru, leader of the Sakurai Clan, receives word from one of her friends that a group of ruffians is causing trouble in town. Needless to say, she is incensed; even more so, when she hears that they are members of the Katen family of Yokohama, meaning that they are affiliated with Samatoki Aohitsugi.
Meanwhile, Kisouna Yuzairu, after years of hard work and dedication, finally has enough evidence to put away Samatoki, as well as her most hated adversary, Jyuto Iruma. She receives a call from Aranai about the Katen family attacking Ueno and rushes to help. The two of them, together, easily manage to repel the Katen members. However, Kisouna, for some reason, cannot help but feel that their victory was a little too easy...
Her suspicions prove to be correct. Upon returning home, she finds her front door wide open and her daughter, Yomi, along with her friend and team member, Shisuta Heisha, are both missing. She tries to contact her friend, but she receives no answer. She then receives an anonymous phone call that orders her to bring the evidence she's gathered against Jyuto to an undisclosed location or she will never see Shisuta or her daughter again. It is now known that the attack was just a diversion to get kidnap Yomi and Shisuta.
Left with little choice, the lawyer heads to the location with the evidence in tow. She then comes face to face with Jyuto Iruma, who calmly and smugly requests the evidence Kisouna has. However, Kisouna demands that she see Yomi and Shisuta. The two females are brought out, bound, and gagged by a couple of Jyuto's henchmen. Seeing that they are safe, Kisouna tosses the evidence at Jyuto's feet. He looks the evidence over and is pleased with what he finds, complimenting Kisouna's perseverance and dedication, which only gets him a glare and an uncalled-for insult in response. Fulfilling his end of the deal, he releases Shisuta and Yomi and leaves, laughing haughtily at his success.
Happy to see her friend and daughter safe, the three women return to Ueno. After putting Yomi to bed, Shisuta and Kisouna relay the night's events to Aranai. The former Bōsōzoku is miffed that Kisouna did not tell her what was going on beforehand but understands that her daughter's safety was on the line. Upset and desperate for revenge, Aranai and Kisouna put their battle against their first opponents on hold, and challenge MAD TRIGGER CREW instead. The Yokohama Division team accepts.
Now, the battle lines have been drawn and warfare is set to begin. Will the women of Ueno be able to exact revenge on Yokohama for their underhanded tactics and show them the strength of the cherry blossom? Or will their vengeance come up short as they face the full power of Yokohama's MAD TRIGGER?

Yorii's Thoughts on Shizuoka Division
Tumblr media
Kanon Hojo
Yorii looks at the photo of the former Chuohku scientist, an unreadable expression on his face.
"This... this... woman. She... she's responsible for the death of some of my brothers. I recall that... that she was using us... in those experiments. She used other Chuohku officials, but... she particularly liked... experimenting on us. Just... just like that wench from Shinagawa. But... but hers... she... she didn't care whether we lived or died. I... I remember she made me fight against another clone... I forget what they were... wait... I remember because she gave us all codenames... And the one I fought against... what was the name... I don't remember. No... I can't remember... And... it's all because of...!"
...
"...Because of her! She ruined my memories! I remember... the explosion! All of us... dead! Because of this damnable, sadistic bitch!! She made me kill my brothers! She killed my brothers!! Damn it!! DAMN HER!!!"
Reika Aichi
"Oh, Ms. Black Widow, huh? Mina seems to be worried that this woman might come after me, or worse, I might go after her. Well, Onee-san doesn't need to worry! Even if she were interested in me, she'd be out of luck. I'm not into women that like to change up their husbands annually. Plus, I already know that this wench kills each of her spouses. How do I know? Cause I've seen her kill her fifth one! The lawyer guy!"
"It was at the New National Theatre in Tokyo. I had just finished a show and decided to head to the roof to take a break and get some fresh air. I was about to open the door, but I heard some voices and I thought it was a naughty couple getting up to some tête-à-tête, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I quietly opened the door just to catch a peep. I saw two people hugging each other about to get physical. But suddenly, the woman, after leaning on the ledge, suddenly tossed the man over it! Needless to say, I was shocked!"
"I debated between telling someone, but then I figured... what's the point? I doubt anyone would believe me. And even if they did, this woman, knowing her, she's probably bribed every law official there is. So... yeah. Besides, I figure she'll get hers sooner or later. Women like her always make a mistake sooner or later. And they're bound to piss off the wrong person someday. Just look at all of the rich people she upset over in Aoyama!"
Kito Sakura
"Ohh, a Yakuza member. I haven't encountered any of them since I dealt with the Katen family of Yokohama. Apparently, they didn't appreciate me stealing the profits from their customers with my singing. Fortunately, we managed to resolve any tensions with no problem." Yorii says, a sly look on his face. "But anyway, I hear Elliot really despises this woman. Apparently cause some of the guys in the family got caught by the police smuggling in live animals or something. Bad move, you guys. Not only are you gonna spend life behind bars, but you've pissed off a serious animal lover too. Sucks to be you!"
Silent Tragedy
"Yeah, suffice to say, I don't care for this team. Ms. Black Widow can stay in Shizuoka, mooching off of old, rich guys. The Yakuza woman can continue trying to get ahead while hiding from the law. And..."
Suddenly, in mid-sentence, Yorii stops talking as his eyes seem to gloss over, as if a memory was playing in his head like a VCR. He remember fighting a familiar-looking clone with familiar-looking hair and eyes. He remembers seemingly beating the clone, easily. He rushes over, but is pushed to the side by a cold-hearted scientist. She picks up the discarded clone by the arm and walks off with it. Yorii tries to stop her, but is again shoved off. As he looks at the scientist, her mouth moves and she says a word that he remembers.
As Yorii's focus returns to the screen, he shakes his head, as if he had just gotten done waking up from a dream. He looks at the screen, and shakes his head again.
"Sorry, I'm going to cut this short. I've got a headache for some reason. Suffice to say though, this team sucks and we'll crush them later on."
As he walks around, Yorii tries to recall what it was that the woman in his memory said. It was important, he knows it was. But what was it?
"...The... The... The..."
Shaking his head, he tries once last stressing the letters in the word., whispering it.
"...Theta..."
