彡LAZY MORNING
Tumblr media
zai says- let’s take this from the top (this takes place post tartous btw)
ˏˋ«────── « 𓆩♡𓆪 » ──────»
it’s been about a year since the fairy tail guild disbanded, in that time you an laxus moved in together.
you stirred in your sleep gently waking up. you opened your eyes greeted by a still sleep laxus your head was resting on his chest while his arm was still around you from the night before. you slowly sat up and he grumbled “mhm.” he pulled you back down “five more minutes.”
it didn’t feel like he gave you much of a choice “we have to wake up at some point the thunder legion is probably waiting for us at blue pegasus.” he grabbed the back of your thigh pulling you closer and hoisting it over his own legs “so? let them wait.” he turned his head so his lips could brush the top of your head.
“don’t you have a quest to go on?” you asked as you idly traced over the spot where his fairy tail guild mark used to be, a small habit of yours that he came to love.
“no” he lies. he finally opens his eyes to look at you “what you want me gone that bad?” he lightly jokes.
“i just want you to get up” you chuckle lightly. he closes his eyes again and pulls you closer to him “mhm nah baby.”
you shift so you’re straddling him, his hands immediately move to your hips on instinct and he cracks one eye open looking at you as if he was silently asking what you were up to “i’ll give you five more minutes but that’s it” he rubs circles on your hips “whatever you say baby.”
you were both fully aware it was going to be more than five minutes but you couldn’t bring yourselves to care.

I wanna indulge in Laxus fanfiction but the Fandom has been dead for years. Not to mention the target audience is way younger than other animes, so it's not quite the same haha. I've been completely spoiled by how active the JJK and Naruto tags are. The quality and quantity are absolutely insane.
If yall have any recs please let me know 🙏

you weren't s class, but you were pretty close.
you could control one of the bases of human life - bones. it wasn't magic, more like an ability. they spoke to you, little whispers, guidance. in a adults body there are 206 bones, and every single one of them is yours. in some way, the bones are yours, eternally connected to you - the bones aren't who's body they're found in's, the bones are yours. and if that wasn't enoigh, you had an ancient, forbidden charm magic tucked in your sleeve too. a siphoning magic, the ability to give or take magic power through a link you cast - the link can be placed in seconds, and theres not really a limit on who it can be placed on. so! you were pretty powerful, not that laxus saw it of course. all he saw was strength, combat ability. hes into the flashy stuff, stuff that is shown, the stuff that wins.
you didn't mind though, because you knew deep down, he was into you too! he had to be, right? you guys have been together since you were 16, and your 7th anniversary is coming up!
laxus has been a little distant lately, but its okay. hes always distracted, distracted with worth, distracted with anything really. you were just happy he wasn't angry, because when he was mad, it got really bad.
hes a sweet boy, i know he is. i can hear it in his bones, his kindness. i see it in how he spares the animals he finds on the roads, feeding them, i see it in how he doesn't kill insects, instead letting them roam free. he's gentle, and kind, and sweet. he doesn't show it but i know he is.
his grandfather describes it too, whenever i speak to makarov, he reminisces over the laxus i can hear in the bones. the kind, sweet, gentle boy.
makarovs bones groan and creak, straining from age. hes going to be here for way longer though, his bones are strong, sturdy. his bones also speak kindness, but not in the same way as laxus. makarovs bones are kind in the justifying way. i hear the kindness of a teacher in his bones, and the kindness of a guardian in laxus's.
however, this doesn't seem to be an inherited trait. kindness runs in their bones, but does not run in their blood. ivans bones are dry, and hard. they aren't strained with age yet, but sound to be tired - tired of what, im not sure. ivans bones are greedy, gluttonous. i hear it, the desire for success. the willingness to pit others down, sometimes i hear this in laxus too, but i know it's not genuine like it is in ivans. ivans bones are brittle, while makarov and laxus's are flexible, and strong. ivans bones reek, the noises they make grating against my ears, his bones begging for forgiveness deep down. guilty bones. guilt for what, i'm not sure.
the bones consume me sometimes, all i listen to is them. i'm not sure.
you climbed up the stairs to the 2nd floor of the guild hall, finding laxus lounging with his feet propped up.
"hey," i mumbled, before taking a seat next to him. his headphones were in so he couldn't hear me, but i knew he knew i was here. he continued listening to his music, as if i wasnt here at all.
sometimes i wish i was his music, occupying his ears, his brain. instead of just his bones. i wish i was what he heard, what he loved so much, i wish he paid attention to me like he did to his music. but it's okay, hes usually occupied by something.
i tapped on laxus's shoulder, before pulling off his headphones.
"what?" he snapped, looking at me.

Through Thought and Chaos
Gray x Reader Soulmate AU Word Count: 4168 Fluff, implied inneundos, rescue mission
Tumblr media
Steady Drip. Cold Water.
The noise was starting to drive you insane. Forming slowly from a stalacite overhead, clinging onto the point before succumbing to gravity, falling into the small pool of water below. It fell with a small plink, sending ripples through puddle. The rhythmatic continuation drilled itself into your brain. Each droplet sounded like a hammer to your head. You had tried to stop it once, sticking your boot under the trajectory of the divers. It was a futile attempt. The sound continued, this time with a much more hollow tone as it hit the side of the leather material, and the icy water had seeped through almost instantly, numbing your toes. You had pulled back with a hiss of discomfort and pulled your legs up to your chest, seeking to preserve any remaining heat you had left. Your lips moved with the droplets, meekly mumbling a 'plink' each time they hit the water. Every breath exhaled as a faint mist, dispersing into the heavy air. Your only light source was a very weak, flickering glow from the torches situatied outside your cell, the bars of your cell would glow as if taunting you. Everything blended into a symphony of discomfort, the chill, the maddening drip of water, the uneven surface of your cell poking you no matter what angle you sat at, and now your damp boots. How on earth did you ever end up in a place like this?
It was naive to assume you could do this alone, you realised that now, and as slowly as the drip fell, you were starting to realise that rules were in place for a reason. After the incident with Macao in the mountain, Makarov had implemented a strict rule that no one was allowed to leave on jobs without the accompaniment of at least one other person. The only exception pointed to the S-Class wizards who were permitted solo pursuits. The rule had been pinned to the job request board. Impossible to miss, possible to ignore. You had taken it upon yourself to exempt yourself from this rule, despite not going through any proper trials to become S-Class, in that moment you had deemed yourself on the same level, and had left without bothering to tell anyone where you were going. You had planned to just be gone for a day or two, the possibility of a dark guild being involved hadn't even crossed your mind.
The hours dragged painfully on, each one hazing into the next. With no sight of any sunlight, you couldn't even tell what time it was, or how long you had been kept in the cell. The members of the guild barely acknowledged you. It was confusing. You were expecting taunts, heckles, something laced with malice, but all they did would pass by to slide meagre plates of food to you, and to point at the puddle in the cell when you asked for some water. The purpose of your capture was still unknown. You had no idea if it was a hostage situation or if you were about to become a sacrificial lamb. The cold, hard truth was that you had no real solution to getting out of this cell. The shackles around your wrists prevented you from using magic and there was no way you could just strongarm your way out through the front. With no real useful ideas, you began to fill your head with useless ones instead. How does Gajeel not break his teeth on iron? I bet he could just eat his way out of this cell. You let out a soft snort at the visuals that followed. I hope I can shower again before I die. You grimaced at the thought of being found dead and smelly. Then, the forbidden final thought slipped in; Gray is pretty hot, I guess.
"You think I'm hot?"
Your eyes snapped open, heart pounding, you whipped your head around in the dark cell to try and locate the source of the voice but your search revealed nothing. Your breath hitched in your throat and you shuffled slightly on the ground, finding new angles to be poked from. The chill suddenly felt much sharper.
"Gray?" You questioned aloud, voice shaky and uncertain.
"Yeah, who else? You think I'm hot?"
You let out a shaky laugh, moreso in disbelief at yourself than amusement. Shaking your head slightly you muttered, "that water must've made me sick. I'm going insane in my final moments...great."
"Final moments? Where are you?" The voice was distinctly Gray's. Smooth and oddly comforting in the moment. You searched the cell some more, eyes tracing along the moss-covered walls, but the voice was still coming distinctively from within you. 'He' was insistent and steady, containing a level of concern that you hadn't encountered from 'him' before.
"Oh, and now I'm in denial. Fantasic." Your response was dry and drawn out. Rolling your eyes you added, "I'm going to die in here, me, just let it happen."
"Look, I don't know how I can hear you either but I'm not part of your conscience," he pressed. "Now where are you, dummy?"
You blinked slowly. The entire situation was absurd. It made your frustration bubble and boil. "In a cell," you gestured, shackles rattling as you made over the top movements. Might as well embrace the madness if it has come for you this early.
There was an audible sigh. Exasperated. "Well I know you're real because no one else can be this dense. Where did you go?"
"Cave."
"You are insufferable. What did you do to end up there?"
Brows furrowing together you mused over why the voice was asking you this question. It should know if it came from your head. Engaging in the question, if not to just enjoy some conversation with some aspect of yourself that may or may not liked Gray, you started to answer, "I went on a job alone. The job that was there for a few days."
"The one that was posted right next to the new rule? I know the one."
Your jaw clenched in frustration. "Don't get sarcastic with me," you snapped, tone sharp. "If you are real how the hell are you even speaking to me right now or did you plant some weird telepathy device on me you freaky little pervert?"
"Yeah because if I had something like that you're totally the first person I'd plant it on." Another sigh. "I already told you that I don't know how I can hear you, I just can." His tone softened slightly, "stay put. I'll come get you."
"As if I can go anywhere," you muttered in response, resting your head on the uneven wall behind you, jagged rock pressing into your scalp. The torchlight flickered faintly in the corner of your eye, the shadows on the walls dancing mockingly as if to remind you how utterly trapped you were.
"Or I'll just stay here I guess. I'm nice and comfortable."
"If I ever see you again, you're getting decked, Fullbuster."
He didn't humour you with any sort of response to your promise, "where did that job say to go?"
"Gazania," you responded bluntly, the irritation clear in your tone. You strain to recall the details of the job poster. "Six-thousand Jewel," you manage to add. The damp chill of the cell hinders the ability to think, the steady drip from the stalacite pin-pricking every single memory you try to recall.
"Of course you remember the money," the voice belonging to 'Gray' chimed in with a slight laugh.
You were quick to cut him off, "I mean it, Fullbuster. If I ever see you again then you're getting decked." The sharpness in your voice softened as you exhaled. "I think the job was requested by a...Mr Flynn?"
"Got it," the voice replied with a confidence. It carried a smirk. "Mr Flynn in Gazania. Sit tight, and don't worry your pretty little head about it."
"You are actually insufferable," you shot back.
The voice disapeared, leaving you alone once again in the oppressive quiet of the cave. It was a suffocating fog, only pierced by the drip of the water. The torches outside of your cell flickered weakly as they struggled to survive. Shadows danced on the walls outside, stretching and shrinking in an uneven sinister manner. You shuffled closer to the bars of your cell door, shackles clinking with every movement , and peered outside and into the hallway. The cell itself had been crudely built into the basement of what seemed to be a very old house. From where you could see, the bricks that made up the old basement were cracked and crumbling in places. Dust fell from the ceiling outside of your cell, trickling down to the stone floor. The house was unloved, and it groaned for every tiny piece of itself that it lost.
There was no sign of any other prisoner or hostage. As you strained to see as far down the hallway as possible, you never once heard another cough, another shuffle, another sniff. It was silent, bar the steady plink of that goddamn water. With a sigh, you retreated back into the corner of your cave, quietly resigning yourself to the thought that the voice was the first sign of madness, and no one was coming for you.

"So, essentially," Erza began, crossing her arms as she frowned.  Her gaze pierced Gray as she scrutinised his word, looking down at him from where she stood.. "You heard a voice that sounded like Y/N,  telling you that they had been kidnapped and you're going to save them based on that alone?"
Gray leaned back in his hair, classically topless. "That's exactly what I said." He was ironically playing with fire standing up to Erza.
Lucy let out a tired groan from beside them both, slumped over her own arms on the table. She didn't even lift her head as she mumbled under her breath, "the ice is freezing your braincells."
He ignored her. "We haven't actually seen them in five days," he pointed out.
Erza considered his words but tried to find a logical reasoning, "what if they're just sick?" She paused slightly, "they could be resting at home. Perhaps we should send over some cake."
"They went out on a job," he bluntly stated as if that statement alone should end the discussion. He stood up from his chair, meeting Erza's eyes.
"But the new rules state that no one is to go out on a job alone," Erza countered, trying to find a more logical reasoning as to why one member of their guild hadn't been seen in five days.
"When does anybody in this guild follow rules?" Gray retorted, raising his voice ever so slightly.
Lucy meekly chimed in, "he has a point." She raised her hand ever so slightly before letting it fall to the wooden surface with a soft thud. "Natsu destroyed two buildings only a day ago, Erza."
Erza's lips pressed into a thin line, "even so how do we trust this voice? How do we know it's not just a telepathic device implemented by someone trying to get ahold of Fairy Tail members?"
"If that's the case then they can take me hostage, I'm going to find Y/N." Gray stormed towards the heavy entry doors of the guild. "I'll even do it alone." The doors slammed behind him, drowning the rest of the hall in silence for a few seconds before the steady hum of chatter washed back in.
"Should we go after him?" Lucy asked, pulling herself upright to exchange a long and weary glance with Erza.
Erza remained quiet for a few seconds, moving her head back to stare at the doors. "We'll do the sensible thing and go check on their residence first...and prepare a cake just in case." Erza looked around, her crimson hair flowing down her back, "where have we lost Natsu?"
"The home intruder duo invaded my apartment last night, and they're still there."
Erza nodded with a sense of knowing. "Let's get going then."
________________________________________________________________________________
You awoke with a jolt. It wasn't a peaceful slumber by any means, nor was it a willing one. Constantly shivering and enduring the neverending drip, you had just intended to doze off to pass the time, but as the grim world you find yourself in greets your eyes, you see that it was just to delay the inevitable. A guild member stood at the cell door, blocking any of the weak light from entering, and casting a long shadow into your cave cell. No food. He was here for a different reason. A sinister grin plastered to his face. You decide not to say anything, as much as you want to clap back with witty remarks, you keep your lips strictly sealed.
"It's time," are the only words that leave his mouth, low and gutteral.
You could only assume that this was for your purpose of being captured. Cursing that stupid job flyer, and wishing you had never made your way to Mr Flynn, your brain and mouth disconnected. "No."
The dark guild member frowned, eyes growing dark, and his grin fell. They took one step closer towards the door, holding a set of keys in one hand. "You don't get a choice."
"No," you repeated again. Absolutely defenseless with no way to fight back, this was up there with one of the stupidest things you had ever done, but, by some miracle, the absurdity of your defiance had stopped the member from whisking you away as quickly as was intended.
"Are you dumb?" They questioned, shoving the correct key in the cell door. It jingled and clunked as he gripped it between thick fingers.
"Possibly," you responded quickly.
"They are," a new, very familiar, voice added. The addition of the voice caused the member to whip around on high defence, letting go of the key in the process. It hung from the lock procariaously.
The dark guild member wasted no time lunging at Gray with a startling speed, acting on instinct and fuelled by adrenaline at the sound of an unfamiliar voice. Gray's eyes widened at the sudden movement, but he quickly sidestepped the man's trajectory. Boots scraping across the rough surface of the stone floor, the attacker pivoted harshly, directing another fist at Gray. Taking a few steps back and reacting swiftly, Gray summoned a shield of ice, just in time to intercept the blow. As flesh met ice, a sharp crack reverberated throughout the hallway. The guild member pulled away, hissing in pain as frostbite crept across his bleeding knuckles.
With a growl, the member dropped low, aiming another attack at Gray's stomach. Gray went high, bringing his elbow down on the man's back with a practiced precision, sending him sprawling onto the ground.
Groaning and twitching, he attempted to lift himself up, but he wasn't given any such chance. In the blink of an eye, Gray had encased the attacker in a ball of ice, allowing only his head to remain untouched. Impressed with himself, and believing that you should be too, Gray turned to your cell. Stepping up towards the door, he gripped the bars and leaned in, leaving the key in the lock as if he had all the time in the world.
"So...you think I'm hot, huh?" He asked, voice low with amusement, with a dastardly cocky smirk creeping up his stupid face.
Prick.
"Who are you calling a prick?" He exclaimed, stepping back from the cell door, plucking the keys from the door. "I just saved you from a ritual sacrifice."
"I never called you a prick!" You yelled back, frustration evident in your voice.
"Well, I heard you call me a prick," he spun the keys around one finger as he leaned against the corridor wall directly opposite your cell door. The dim light flickered over his obviously shirtless chest.
You sighed, not wanting to get into any argument with him at the current moment, choosing to steer the interaction back into something productive. "have you done anything about the rest of the guild?"
He smirked again at the thought of you doubting him. As if on cue, Erza's unmistakable voice called down from the top of the stairs as a body toppled down into the basement. It landed with a groan.  "That's the last of them! Have you found Y/N?"
"I follow the rules," Gray whispered only loud enough for you to hear, clearly enjoying himself at your expense. He turned his head, calling back up the stairs to Erza, "I have them, they're fine!" He stepped forward again, sliding the key back into the lock. The metal groaned in frustration as he turned the key to open the door. His smile softened ever so slightly as he looked over your unfortunate form, "come on, dumbass."
Boots crunching on the soft ground of the cave, you shuffled over to him as he held a second key upright. The key to your shackles. Presenting your wrists to him, he slid the second key into that lock. The shackles clicked and fell to the ground. Bruises painted your wrists but the second that the shackles were free from your arms, you felt magic seep back into you like a breath of fresh air. You took a deep breath and rubbed your wrists slightly.
Gray hesitated, before tentatively reaching up. Cupping one of your hands in his he gently rubbed the bruises lightly. "Five days, huh?" He murmured, voice low.
"You can imagine how wiping went," you quipped softly, unable to resist injecting sarcasm even into the sweet moment.
His lips quirked up into a grin as he responded ever so casually, "still find you hot."
A frown formed on your face, and you blinked through the confusion, "huh?" But before you could process that sentence, the promise you made earlier crashed into your head. Lifting up a weak fist, you sent it into his shoulder.
Gray groaned, stepping back slightly and massaging his shoulder. "I call you hot and you punch me?"
"I promised it to you earlier!"
He paused, recalling the past telepathic conversation. "Fine. Okay, you did."
The two of you go silent for a brief moment, unable to really process Gray's confession. "So, how did you hear me earlier?" You ask, adding something in to at least attempt to ease the tension.
Gray rubbed the back of his neck slightly, "no idea. We'll ask Gramps when we get back." He moved closer, snaking one arm around your waist for support. Falling into place, you draped one of your arms over his shoulder and together you moved slowly through the dimly lit corridor, boots scuffing on the steps as you made your way towards sunlight.
________________________________________________________________________________
The moment of reckoning had arrived. Barely a step into the guildhall, and you had been summoned by the master.  The stern look in his eye made it painfully obvious that this was not going to be any form of appraisal. Closing the door softly, you slowly slid into the seat opposite the master.
"Hey, Gramps," you offered weakly. It wasn't a long journey back to Magnolia and so your bruises still throbbed with a fresh memory.
The master's gaze was sharp, and it cut through any excuse you had prepared. He didn't waste any time on checking how you were, he could tell from the state of you already, and as long as you were alive and breathing, you were well enough to receive a firm talking to. "Repeat to me the newly implemented rule of this guild."
"That no one, bar the exception of S-Class mages, are to undertake any job alone." You swallowed hard.
"If it's that ingrained into your head then why did you go alone?" His accusatory words hung heavy in the air.
Dropping your gaze to the floor, you hung your head in shame. "I thought I could handle it, I have before." It was a weak answer, given from a weak voice.
"But even if you have handled a hundred jobs before, something can always go wrong." He softened slightly, the pronounced wrinkles in his head fading as he sighed and leaned back in his chair. "You didn't account for the dark guild. I'm just thankful that you at least told someone where you were going." He rubbed his temples. "I don't know what I would do if I lost one of you," he muttered, almost to himself.
You kept your mouth shut, not wanting to let Gramps know that you did not in fact tell anyone where you were going. Drawing your lips into a thin line, you mused over your next choice in words, desperate to change the topic of conversation. "Can I ask you about a type of magic?"
He grumbled incoherently under his breath before muttering, "yes. Go on then."
"A type of telepathy, I think. When Gray-" you paused over your next few words, how to phrase them to stick to the story that he had woven himself that you had at least told someone before leaving. "When Gray came for me, we were able to talk telepathically. We've never done that before."
He raised an eyebrow at your statement. "And this has only happened between you two?" You nodded in response. A smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth, but he was quick to hide it. "It's a very rare form of magic, and so rare that people even call it a myth." Jumping down from his perch, he found an old dusty book from his shelf, handing it over to you. "Here. You can read this whilst you recover." You briefly glanced down at the dusty book before looking back up at the master but he was already waving a dismissive hand at you. "Now go. And don't make me regret not scolding you harder."
Holding the book with all the strength you could muster, you hobbled out of his office, legs stiff with every step.  Gray was waiting outside for you, leaning against a wall but he quickly straightened as soon as you emerged and  quickly falling into stride beside you as you made your way to an empty table.
"So how hard did Gramps wail on you?"
You pointed your head down to the bruises on your arms. "Fresh from Gramps," you joked.
"You're joking."
"Of course I am, idiot," you responded, rolling your eyes. You let the hefty book fall onto the table with a thump. "He gave me this though."
He slid across from you into an empty chair. "A book?"
The pages crinkled and groaned in protest as you slowly opened the book, releasing a small cloud of dust. "You're such a genius," you exclaimed in a monochromatic tone.
"Prick."
"Who are you calling a prick?" You exclaimed, frowning at him.
"It's just happening again," he sighed, "you're just hearing my thoughts."
You arched an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Your thoughts are mean to me."
"And your thoughts think I'm hot," he teased lightly. "What else do you think about I wonder."
You kicked him from under the table and chose to ignore his question, instead looking down at the title of the front page. Magics of the Soulmate. Your stomach churned at the implication and you fell silent. Without saying another word, you spun the book around and slid it across the table towards Gray.
"Soulmates?" He exclaimed. The surprise fully took him before he dropped his voice into a low hush. "Gramps thinks we're soulmates?" You attempted to open your mouth to answer but no words escaped. Gray ignored you and dropped his head down to read further, "Only in dire situations or moments where thoughts are really felt that they are then projected onto one's soulmate, if that individual has one." He stopped reading and looked up, smirk creeping across his face. You knew what was coming. "So you really think I'm hot, huh?"
You kick him again out of desperation, harder this time. "Shut up!" You whisper harshly, face flushing out of your control. "So what does this mean? You suddenly start loving me?"
"Well you are kinda hot," he shrugged a little. He then grew serious and leaned back in his chair, lazily flicking through the pages of the book. "This doesn't have any answers, it just kinda says what we experienced. It's all just vague."
Growing silent once more, you muse over the implications. There was one thing that you forget during the whole ordeal. Looking up, and into his eyes. They had grown softer, fully living in the seriousness of the situation. You softly speak; "thank you for saving me earlier."
Gray reaches out, thumb brushing over the back of your hand. The ironic warmth of his touch caused the hairs on the back of your neck to rise. His voice was low and steady as he spoke, just for you "Anytime."

One thing that really rots my brain is the idea of the guild during the og baby fairytail members time and the domesticity of it. Cause like no way was gramps letting a bunch of super powered ( and incredibly destructive) 7-14year olds out of his sight.
Just imagine:
Little Natsu and emo teen Laxus having breakfast while very quietly whispering about their respective hoards collections of cat theme things ( I KNOW LAXUS IS A SECRET CAT LOVER I JUST KNOW IT)
Tiny Gray having an emo phase. Mira (a punk 14 year old) helping him out (after teasing him of course). The two spending many hours and lots of jewel to find and look through dozens of fashion magazines. Eventually falling asleep sprawled on the floor in a nest of semi-laminated paper.
Tween Lissana and levy giggling over the kissy scenes in books and Erza overhearing them. Spitting out her cake into Laxus’s face which makes them burst out into full on cackling.
Little Cana teaching natsu to make card pyramids for 3 hours and when he finally gets it, Elfman knocks it over. Every one thinks Natsu is going to punch someone, but he doesn’t, instead he starts full on bawling. Nobody knows what to do. Little Natsu cannot be comforted. Levy shuts him up by shoving candy into his mouth while cana really quickly rebuilds the pyramid.
Erza and Mira having a dance off on some of the tables ( mira breaks 3 of them in half with her stomping, Erza somehow stabs one). This is how everyone finds out to never take either of them to parties cause they dance like the deaf baby of giraffes and a buffalo.
Gray and climbing a tree to the very top and forgetting that he doesn’t know how to get down? He stays there till the next morning and seethes for the next week cause LISSANA had to carry him down.
Natsu following Gray around like a lost puppy his first week cause “he’s friend sized” and what else was he supposed to do? He knows nothing! Dudes not even from this time period. At least if he follows loud stripper he knows he wont get run over by a car. Gray not noticing or caring that he is being followed cause little guy has his own problems to deal with and “as long as he doesn’t take my food or breath on me.”
Cana having a plague doctor mask that elfman bought for her 13th birthday. She wears it to scare the shit out of everyone at the sleepovers.
Weekly “sleepovers” in the guildhall because it’s easier to do gramps weekly count of them when they are all lined up in their my little pony sleeping bags (yes this includes laxus and mira)
When Romeo is born they have a guild wide contest on whose name he says first (the answer is his own cause the little dude is a true fairytail wizard)
Levy managing to give everyone a heart attack after casually admitting that she hasn’t slept or ate anything but crackers and coffee cause she was trying to teach herself the equivalent of ancient greek.
Laxus and gray not knowing how to hold a baby (romeo)
Natsu “teething” on Erza. Everyone stares in shock cause there’s just Erza sitting there stone faced in full armor while Natsu chops down on her arm like he has rabies. ( he still bites her even when they’re older if he’s really stressed)
Everyone having a default crush on laxus or Mira
The guild kids try to make homemade shaved ice with grays ice and end up covering the entire town with really weird ice sculptures
Mira scaring the shit out of kids with her demon souls during Halloween
Someone stealing Mira or Natsu’s food and ending up with a burn on their tounge followed by natsu trying to “kiss it better”
Levy dozing off on the rafters and falling down onto poor elfman
Spin the bottle but instead of kissing you fight (grays idea)
Laxus has a spray bottle filled with water mixed with really bad smelling cologne that he uses to spray people when they’re bad, like cats.
No one in the guild knew how to swim until they turned 16 Lissana still can’t swim.
Its really really common to see elfman or gray duck-taped to the wall (its levy who does it)
Dont fall asleep around teen Mira she will draw titties on your face. (Where do you think natsu got it from?)
They all took a living 101 class when lissana was 13. It failed miserably. Laxus ended up being the grandfather to 6 rats and 3 hamsters
Laxus takes Lissana and Elfman out for brunch once a month because it pisses mira off to no end.
Levy, Lissana, and Laxus accidentally forming an L name club and plan their “meetings” within earshot of Mira and Erza to make them jealous.
“We should get cookies!”-levy
“And ice cream!”- lissana
“(Super smug face) im craving strawberry cake.”-laxus
*sounds of Erza bursting into flames of jealousy*

Nowhere Else To Go
(Disclaimer: I'm spelling Fried's name how the official translation has it spelled, so please don't send me messages about how I'm spelling his name wrong. Also, Laxus is 17 and Fried is 14.)
Laxus has been staring at the job board for a while. He wants to do a job, but he also really doesn’t.
Fried walks over. “Did you hear that Bickslow left on a job?”
“Yeah, I heard.”
“So why have you been over here for the last thirty minutes?” Fried asks.
Laxus sighs. “I don’t know. I want to work, but I don’t.”
Laxus looks at Fried and he looks thoughtful.
“What about it do you not want to do? The actual work or going out?”
Laxus shrugs, even though that’s a blatant lie. He just doesn’t want to go somewhere by himself right now. Not that he would ever tell Fried that.
“I could go with you if you don’t want to do the whole job.”
“Why would you do that? What do you gain?”
“Friendship isn’t always about what you can gain from it.”
Laxus shrugs again.
“And we’d split the pay so that at least.”
Laxus smiles. “Well, if you insist we can go together.”
Laxus picks up one of the easier quests and offers it to Fried. He nods, then walks over to the bar counter to let the guild know that they’re taking the quest. Laxus folds his arms and leans against the wall.
“Whatcha poutin’ about?” Mirajane asks as she walks over.
“Not pouting,” Laxus answers. “Thinking.”
“A dangerous pastime.”
Laxus sighs. “Sure, maybe for you.”
She punches his shoulder and he rolls his eyes with a small smile. “Have fun with Fried.”
“M’kay.”
Laxus watches Natsu and Gray fight in the guild until Erza shows up and starts lecturing them.
“Come on. We should get going, Laxus,” Fried says as he walks over.
“Right on,” Laxus replies, pushing himself off the wall.
“They want us to recover a relic from a temple near their guild. Why wouldn’t they just do that?” Fried asks as he reads over the finer details on the paper.
Laxus shrugs. “I don’t really care as long as they pay us.”
They took a train and are now walking the short distance to the guild that sent out the request. Fried looks thoughtful, but doesn’t say anything else until they get to the guild in question. Almost nobody’s in the building and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in ages. One of the three people in the building gets up when they see Fried and Laxus.
“Are you guys the guys from the Fairy Tail guild?”
“Yeah, we are,” Laxus answers and Fried shows the guy his guild mark.
“Here, you guys’ll want this map to the temple.”
He offers the map to Laxus, who takes it and then hands it to Fried.
“I can’t read a map,” Laxus says.
The guy looks a little confused, but doesn’t comment on it.
“It should only be a day trip there and back. We just lost a lot of members recently so we don’t have the manpower to do it ourselves.”
Fried nods. “Thank you.”
Once they’re on the way to the temple, Fried asks, “You can actually read a map, right?”
“Yeah, of course I can. It was one of the things my old man taught me. I’m just not good with distance judgment like you are.”
“Okay, just making sure. You travel alone too often to not know how to read a map.”
“My old man said the exact same thing.”
“The master’s a smart man.”
Laxus nods, sticking his hands in his pockets.
“But you don’t seem to like him very much.”
“It’s not about that. More complicated. Don’t wanna talk about it.”
Fried nods.
They get to the temple and it looks one light breeze away from falling down.
“Oof, history being lost to time,” Laxus says. “Let’s find the relic before the temple falls apart on top of us.”
They walk into the temple and Fried starts writing in the air. Laxus watches with mild interest as the letters turn into an arrow when he’s done.
“Come on, the relic’s this way.”
Fried leads the way and Laxus trails behind. When the arrow stops moving, it disappears. Fried writes something else in the air, but nothing happens.
“No traps,” Fried says.
His magic is so handy. So many uses.
Laxus walks into the room and grabs the relic, which is a metal orb.
“This is anti-climatic,” Laxus says.
Fried nods, then the two head out. They get halfway back to town when Laxus hears something. He stops and listens, but he can’t hear it anymore.
“Laxus.”
Laxus turns and sees that Fried’s bleeding. He rushes over and while it’s not a lot, there doesn’t seem to be something that caused the wound.
“What happened?” Laxus asks.
“I don’t know. I just felt a sharp pain, and then there was blood,” Fried answers.
Laxus starts looking around and he manages to see someone in a black cloak running behind a rock.
A black cloak in broad daylight? That feels like the opposite of helpful if you’re attempting to sneak around.
Laxus sends a bolt of lightning behind the rock and the person comes scurrying out from behind there. Laxus zaps them and they fall.
“Why is someone following us?” Fried asks.
Laxus shrugs.
A bunch more people start running towards them and throwing a variety of spells at them. The two retreat until they hit a ravine. They’re now cornered in between the ravine and the dark wizards.
“Nowhere else to go,” Fried says.
“Then we fight,” Laxus replies.
“There are like thirty of them.”
“So? You’re one of the best letter magic users in the area and I’m me.”
“Your head is so far up your ass,” Fried replies.
“Sometimes. I actually think we can manage this though,” Laxus says.
“Split the guys fifty-fifty?”
“Yeah, that works for me. I’ll deal with any reinforcements that show up. I was hoping for a little more room to move, but this is fine.”
Fried nods, so the two come out from behind the rock and attack the dark wizards. Fried takes out closer to three-fourths of them with his attack and Laxus laughs. At least twenty more rush up and Laxus takes them out with a high-voltage shock. Laxus has a cocky smile on his face.
“You bleeding anymore?” Laxus asks.
“No, that stopped after we dealt with the first batch,” Fried answers. “I think I overdid it a bit though. My arm’s bothering me.”
“If any more come, I’ll handle them. We should get back to town to let them know about this.”
They continue on their way back to town when they’re attacked by more people. Laxus keeps taking them out but it feels like an endless amount of them. His arms are getting sore, which means he’s hitting his body’s cap on magic output. Laxus mutters curses as he finally deals with the rest of them.
“You alright?” Fried asks.
“Yeah,” Laxus answers, trying not to let Fried see his discomfort. “Is everyone and their moms a part of this black cloak group?”
“I have a feeling this is a bigger issue than we were led to believe.”
“Yeah, probably.”
Another group shows up and Fried deals with them with a swiftly written spell.
“Thanks,” Laxus says.
“You’re welcome.”
Laxus sees another group coming their way. “Company.”
Laxus goes to take on the next group and he finds himself blocked by a barrier of ruins.
“Fried!”
Fried turns towards him. “You’ve used up most of your magical energy dealing, let me protect us!”
Everything in Laxus wants to disagree.
Fried’s just fourteen.
He nods against his better judgment. He didn’t like it when people treated him a certain way because he was young, so he won’t subject Fried to that.
Fried starts writing runes in the air for a second protection spell after blasting some of them into the distance, but isn’t quite fast enough due to his arm injury. Fried gets hit with the majority of the blasts, Laxus left to watch behind the first barrier.
“Fried!”
The protection spell drops and Laxus rushes over to Fried. The dark wizards are powering up again, so Laxus turns on the defensive. While he doesn’t have a lot of energy left in him, Laxus puts as much power as he can into the lightning attack and fires it at the attackers. He feels the lightning start to burn his arms but he keeps it up until every one of them is down. Laxus looks over his arms and the burns are all minor. He breathes a sigh of relief because he can still carry Fried. He gently picks Fried up and heads back towards the town.
When he gets to town, he heads straight for the clinic. He walks in and several people run towards him. He backs up a bit and they stop and only one walks up.
“Is he alright?”
“He’s injured, obviously he is not alright.”
“Come on, we can take him.”
Laxus walks back with the healer and they tend to Fried. Laxus keeps a close eye on them and they seem to be a little uncomfortable under his harsh gaze, but he doesn’t ease up. The healers leave when they’re done taking care of Fried. When Freid wakes up, the first thing he does is look for Laxus.
“Stop looking like that,” Fried says.
Laxus looks up and gives Fried a smile he doesn’t feel.
“Stop that too, that smile is creepy.”
Laxus smiles genuinely as he tries not to laugh at Fried.
“Did we win?” Fried asks.
“All thanks to you,” Laxus answers.
“Of course.”
The two share a laugh.
“Your arms…”
Laxus looks down at his arms. “Yeah, I’ll probably mention them when the healer comes back in. They’re not as bad as they look.”
Fried looks skeptical, but doesn’t argue. He looks around.
“Where are we?”
“Clinic in the town where we got the request from.”
“Did you contact the guild?”
“Not yet. I wanted to make sure that you were fine, then I’d do that.”
“Huh,” Fried huffs.
“What?” Laxus asks.
“I happen to remember you saying that you didn’t like me enough for that.”
“Huh, that is odd. I don’t remember saying that.”
Fried rolls his eyes and Laxus shrugs. The healer walks back in and makes sure that Fried’s alright.
“His arms are burned,” Freid says.
“Snitch,” Laxus replies.
She walks over and after looking at them, she heads out.
“Well, guess I’m gonna head to the guild we got the request from,” Laxus says, getting up.
“Not a chance in hell,” Fried replies. “Sit your ass back down.”
“Okay.”
Laxus sits back down. The healer comes back in with a bottle and explains that Laxus needs to put the liquid on his burns for up to two weeks or until they’re gone and that he needs to wrap them up. Laxus agrees, mostly because Fried’s glaring at him. She shows him how to do it then wraps up his arms. He thanks her and she says that Fried will be free to go in an hour.
“Guess we’re going to the guild we got the request from in an hour,” Laxus says.
Fried nods.
The two chat until the healer releases Fried then they head to the other side of town to alert the guild that they had finished their mission. Then they return to Fairy Tail.

This is my current prompt list. Some are more developed than others and there's a few things I'm working on that aren't on here because, well, I just don't wanna share them lol. Feel free to use these as you will but please tag me! I appreciate the credit and I genuinely just wanna see what yall do with these.
MHA
Class 1A thinks Aizawa is lonely, so they steal his phone and download a dating app. Little do they know he's been married for almost a decade.
You and Bakugou reveal you're having a baby! You decide to surprise your friends before making it public, but it's turns out they didn't know you were even dating.
You'll be assisting Midnight and Thirteen in overseeing the female students at the UA Dorms. Upon meeting, Aizawa immediately dismisses you due to your less-than-professional style choices. Little does he know that your big smiles, frilly skirts, and cutesy heels are a stark contrast to your firm and assertive mindset.
Aizawa is picking Eri up from school when he runs into you- a classmates parent wanting to invite Eri to your daughter's birthday slumber party. For obvious reasons, Aizawa has reservations, but you offer to host them before hand to ease his worries. The whole thing seems terribly bothersome, but the pleading look in Eris eyes forces him to agree. Turns out, you're not so bad after all.
FTM Bakugou who is accidently outed by Inko Midoriya courtesy of baby pictures. Deku saves him in that moment, but he knows it's time to actually tell his friends. He starts with Kirishima.
(NSFW) You have a hybrid quirk and go through an estrus every six weeks after hitting sexual maturity. Still busy with your life as a third year UA student and unable to outsource your issue beyond the school walls, you look to someone just as pent up as you are. Luckily, Katsuki is more than willing to take the bait after you threaten to ask Deku of all people.
Pro hero Dynamite was spotted in public with a woman- wait, is that a wedding ring?! He'd done his best to keep you secret, not wanting you to experience the negativity associated with being romantically involved with someone famous. When fans find out, he prepares for the worst, but- wait... it seems they... love you? Possibly more than him, too!
(NSFW) After convincing Yagi to take over Aizawa's dorm duty tonight, you both make your way to a frat party being thrown at your college. He's definitely out if his element, but when his pretty little girlfriend begs him to dress up as Ghost Face and come along, he can't say no can he? Especially not when youre dragging him into the crowded kitchen for a drink and sit on the countertop, your short skirt riding up just a bit and- well, hes still a man at the end of the day. Too bad it's ruined by a handful of problem children who snuck out to be here. (All students are of age and in their third year. They just wanted to party lol)
Yamada finds a box of old pictures in Aizawas closet. When he comes across some from their teenage years, Aizawa remembers how happy you used to be before everything changed. When did you stop being... you?
(NSFW) A run of the mill mission goes sideways when the Villains have an unexpected player on their side. In an effort to protect your students from whatever mystery powder that's been thrown your way, you take the full force of what seems to be... sex pollen? You're able to save face for the remainder of the mission, but your composure is slipping quickly. Luckily, one of your coworkers is more than willing to help you deal with the... side effects.
Naruto
It's Kakashi's inauguration and Team seven is stoked! But wait, who's that woman standing next to their sensei at the podium?!
The village elders have been bothering Sasuke about reviving the Uchiha clan, going so far as offering to find a suitable candidate on his behalf. He initially declines, but as time goes on and he has yet to find a decent woman, he begrudgingly accepts.
Kakashi tasks his genin with watching over a civilian woman while he's away on a mission. Its simple enough, right? When he returns to the village and finds out they completely fumbled the mission, he's pissed. I mean how hard is it to keep his pregnant wife safe for three days?!
Kakashi has always seen his students as young, but has never thought of himself as old. Well, not until he's picking his kid up from school, where he runs into his former students, who are also picking their kids up. It doesn't help that Naruto and Sakura encourage their kids to call Kakashi 'Grandpa'.
Sasukes only friend is Naruto. That was fine when they were kids and practically only had each other, but now the blonde was a somebody, and that meant his time would have to be divided. Luckily you're around pester him in all the right ways.
(NSFW) Kakashi learns he has a size kink.
Tenzo is leading team seven back to the village, but he needs to make a stop first. It's a quick errand, one that will surely aid Narutos training, but might be a little difficult. They arrive at a house in the middle of the woods where you're already waiting for them. You look a little familiar, though. Almost like Pervy sage! (Jiraiya/Tsunade secret love child au lol)
Shikamaru is an attractive guy. He's handsome, smart, and cares deeply for his loved ones. Aside from how lazy he can be, there's nothing wrong with him. So why is it when he's seen around with you- the prettiest girl in the village- no one thinks anything of it?
Kakashi is wandering the village when he sees a new face moving into his apartment building, actually, right across the hall from him. When you turn around, he finally sees the baby strapped to your back. Being the gentleman he is (more so bored since his forced retirement), he helps you bring the remaining items upstairs. Then helps build them. And also takes you up on your offer for dinner.
Someone is messing with team seven, distracting them from their training. After spending all day trying to figure out who's behind the pranks, they come face to face with a little girl, hiding behind an oddly complex genjutsu in the trees. When captured and brought to their sensei, he taunts his students for getting bested by his six year old daughter.
ATLA
Zuko is tired of palace life, but as the Fire Lord, he can't exactly walk into town for a normal outting. He waits for the Autumn Mask Festival to sneak out, where he runs into you- a stranger willing to help him have as much fun as possible. Turns out you're the palace gardener, who immediately recognized him and decided to take matters into your own hands.
You're the decendant of an air nomad who was away from the temples to gather supplies during the raid 100 years ago. Your lineage is a well kept secret hidden smack dab in the middle of the fire nation and your parents have been diligent on passing down the knowledge of the air benders. When you hear of the avatars revival, you make your way to them and offer your teachings.
JJK
The kids having to tell their pseudo parents wives that they were KIA. Yuuji/Nanami, Megumi/Gojo.
Suguru Visits you one last time before he disappears, unknowingly leaving you pregnant. Its a secret you swear you'll take to your grave, but things get a little complicated when you start to see the curses hed been telling you about your whole lives. Then, at six years old, your daughter touches one of the creatures you'd been steering her away from, and it turns into an orb. You have no choice but to dig through Sugurus old things to find his phone and contact the one person you know could help.
Nanami lives across the hall from you. He's older, has a great job, and is a total buzzkill- but that only makes him all the hotter. Youre young, still in college, and incredibly annoying. He swears you speak another language- one chocked full of obscure references and inflated by flamboyant body language. You pester him in the halls and knock on his door to offer pastries at ungodly hours, so why did he hand over his phone so easily when you adk for his number? [Bonus!] Its been two months since your neighborly antics have turned into a full-blown friendship! You've spammed his phone with cacophony of memes and lore that he doesn't understand. You call him between classes and let yourself into his apartment to leave treats on his counter. He wants to be bothered, really, but can't find it in himself to be. You've just handed him an invitation to your masters ceremony- wait, what? His ditzy neighbor is getting her masters in aerospace engineering?!
Nosey teenage Yuuji is peering over his older brother, Sukuna's, shoulder and sees him texting a girl. He tells anyone and everyone who will listen, making them curious as to who this mystery woman could possibly be. Backed into a corner, he finally introduces you to, well, everyone, and they're shocked to find out youre a total ray of sunshine! Kind, bubbly, and a kindergarten teacher to top it off.
Sukuna, the King of Curses, is not a patient or forgiving man, but for some unknown reason, he allowed you to do as you pleased with him. You spoke freely and touched without permission, a gift youve never come close to abusing. One day he comes home from God knows what, in an obviously sour mood, and while you proceed with what you think is a good attempt to quell his anger, you're met with a slice to your cheek. It's minor, likely to not even scar, but the act is enough to cause a rift in your relationship and he has to find a way to mend it.
(NSFW) You're the best physics tutor at Yuuji's university and he's in desperate need of help. With more students than private rooms in the library, you settle on sessions at his unlces house. It's Saturday morning, you're gearing up to write an essay, only to discover you've left your laptop at his place- but that's no problem, because his uncle is home and can eat you in. Too bad he left out the part about how hot Sukuna is.
Lmao color-blind Heien Era Sukuna.
It's the middle of the night and you've been ditched by your friends at a club down town. With the last round of drinks kicking in and your phone battery running low, you call the only person guaranteed to be available on a Saturday night. Too bad that person is Yuuji's asshole older brother who's always been a little extra mean to you.
Nanami notices the shift almost immediately. In the five years you've been celebrating events at the nice restaurant down town, you've always ordered the salmon. Last time, however, you ordered steak despite how often you complain of red meat upsetting your stomach. Your occasional pining for sweet treats has become a nightly routine. A few bites of ice cream out of the freezer or something you grabbed from the konbini on the way home. Youve never used the restroom in the middle of the night before, but it's been a pattern the past two weeks. The final straw was your increased drowsiness. Youve always been an early riser, often beating the sun, but your internal clock has shifted forward. The addition of naps to your days does not go unnoticed by the blonde. You don't think much about any of these things until your husband is placing a box of pregnancy tests in your hand and asking you to trust him.
Suguru isn't sure why he agreed to a blind date set up by Satoru of all people. He's busy thinking of ways to politely escape whatever the blonde could have possibly sent his way, when he notices you taking the seat in front of his. He'd been expecting a loud, ditzy, party girl- not too unlike the ones his friend brings home on the regular- not this. No, youre obviously of higher class, someone closer to Satoru's status, if the quality of your clothing is anything to go by. You offer your name as well as your relation to Gojo, and its no surprise that your father's are long time business partners. By the end of dinner hes asking for your number, damn near vibrating in place as you type it into his contacts and send a little heart emoji to yourself so you have his too.
Your friends are complaining about men. You're happily listening, not having much to add since you're in a happy relationship, but one thing catches you're attention. "Isn't six inches kind of small?" Well, no, it's not. Apparently your boyfriend is very gifted, something you were unaware of since he's the only man you've ever been with. (Heavy Toji coded)
You don't know how you ended up here, sitting on the edge of Shoko's bed, bodies awkwardly contorted so your knees are touching hers. Her hand is in your hair, pulling you deeper into the kiss. She tastes like smoke, something so undeniably her.
In an attempt to prank Nanami, Gojo breaks into his apartment to leave a little something on his counter. As soon as the front door opens, though, he's met with a frying pan stopped just short of his face. He looks from the object to you- a civilian woman dressed in only a button down- but before he can say anything you're already retreating further into the apartment. It's easy to piece together that this intruder is like your husband, so you do as instructed and run into your room, hide under the bed, and call him. He's rushes home, nearly causing an accident in the process, and is pissed to find out the threat is only his annoying coworker. He coaxes you out of the room, open arms ready and waiting for the adrenaline drop youre sure to experience. When all is settled, Gojo's only defense is that he didn't know Nanami was married.
Toji has never felt old until he met you. You bartend at the club he frequents and after shooting his shot for what had to be the hundredth time, you finally agreed to a date. Then another. And another. And suddenly he was completely immersed in the world of his twenty four year old girlfriend. It was fun at first the drinking and dancing and partying- but he's not as young as he used to be and the liquor is catching up to him. At his wits end, he finally confesses that he can't keep up. Luckily for him, youre more than happy to stay in wit your old man boyfriend.
Baby daddy Sukuna who only recently got his shit together. You'd had enough of the in and out- the inconsistency, the empty promises, the lack of support- it was all affecting your daughter. He either needed to sober up and stay out of jail or you'd move forward with terminating his rights to your daughter.
Sukuna is in charge of the company while his father is in the states for the next month. His first order of business? Firing you- his father's bratty secretary. When Wasuke finally returns and sees his prized assistant gone, he panics, thinking his son drove you away. When he learns the truth, Sukuna is sent to beg for your forgiveness.
Streamer Sukuna, who plays first person shooters and horror games, collabs with you, someone known for their soothing minecraft asmr and animal crossing videos.
Gojo thinks you've been dating for the past year while you've been pining in secret, having no idea that this man was in wayyy deeper than you.
Gojo couldn't possibly be married, right? Then who was he on the phone with that could've had such an intimate contact name? That he was calling dear and love? Yuuji and Nobara are on the case! Too bad they could've just asked Megumi, who would've told them that his pseudo father is not just married, but a father as well.
Fairy Tail
You've known Laxus a long time, always by his side to support him, even if you didn't agree with his actions, and his banishment doesn't change that. One day during your travels, he tells you to stand by, that he can feel the guild pulling him and he'll be back soon. When a month passes and there's no sign of him, you venture back to the guild only to be met with terrible news. What's worse, is youre three months pregnant.

laxus x reader but reader is a spirit (not celestial) that goes to laxus for comfort 💗
shadows had been morphing around the blonde for days, little flickers of darkness swiveling around in his vision. he felt maybe he was going insane, perhaps he had been hit on the head by a vulcan one too many times.
but seeing those little flickers of darkness was nothing in comparison to FEELING them, to be grabbed and touched by the shadows - or maybe one singular shadow - was a different story.
and once he started hearing the whispers, it was done. laxus was convinced he had lost his mind, late at night, as he attempted to doze off into his slumber, he would hear faint little murmurs. the voice was soft, with a dreary sadness to it, a desperate yearning sound. yearning to be helped, to be comforted, maybe even a yearning to be loved.
so imagine laxus’s shock when he started seeing faces, or not faces - a singular face. her face. he hadn’t seen it before, and he convinced himself it was his imagination, but he saw it everywhere. in his dreams, in the shadows, in the steam, in the smoke, in the flames, even in his own lighting - he saw her face. she was pretty, with a desperate sadness in her eyes. when he’d stopped being scared, and he focused on parts of the darkness of his room, he would see her. sometimes only for a few seconds, sometimes he would watch her weep.
rather guiltily he would admit he liked hearing her cry, it was soothing for him, it helped him sleep at times.
on the contrary, it was absolutely terrifying for him when she wasn’t crying, because she would stand, and she would stare. she would stare at the boy in his bed, seeing beyond his physical body and understanding his soul. she saw him beyond what he was, how he acted and who he pretended to be. she saw him rawly, she saw him for what he was - from the beauty of his love, to the violence in his lust. she saw his pain, his suffering, his need. over time, she began to more clearly follow him around, learning about his guild, staying just a shadow.
eventually however, on a particularly dreary hallows eve, as laxus was listening to her cries to fall asleep, she moved. she took slow, small steps towards his bed, and oddly enough, he wasn’t scared. when she sat down next to him, touching his hair, he didn’t flinch away.
her beautiful, sad eyes met his but he didn’t speak.
he found comfort in her touch, letting her stay by him, until he fell asleep and woke up with her gone again.
at that point, he was convinced he was losing it. maybe he was just lonely, maybe he just wanted a girlfriend?
and so he tried that, he found a girl, and invited her into his house.
now imagine his shock when he and the girl took their business into his bedroom, and the spirit he had been interacting with was already seated on his bed, but she looked different this time.
she looked insane.
a pool of blood was collecting at her feet - the source of the blood you ask? from the gaping hole in her chest. it appeared as if she had carved her own heart out and held it in her hands, the devastating sadness still apparent in her eyes.
and imagine how much more shocked laxus was when the girl next to him screamed in fear, running out of his home. she could see her too?
laxus watched her and had no idea what to do, his mouth agape as she stood, her wounds healing and the heart transforming into an apple. she took slow steps toward him, as she turned back into the beautiful apparition he saw every night, and she handed him the apple, with a soft smile on her face.
“please.. don’t do that again..” she spoke in barely a whisper, as she walked through the man frozen in fear, disappearing.
she didn’t appear to him for a week after that, and he was plagued with nightmares for a week.
at that point, he didn’t know what to do. should he tell the master about it? or would the old geezer put him in some ward?
the spirit continued to visit him, progressively becoming realer, getting touchier and even speaking to him.
it became a routine, every night, she would find refuge in his arms, telling him about her day. he didn’t quite understand exactly what she was yet, but it was ok.

Fight Fire With Lightening
Teen! Laxus X LilSis! Reader
trigger warning as the reader has been bullied and attacked at the start but the actual act is not documented.
Tumblr media
(Y/n) limped into the guild with her head hung low, she had just had a run in with her school bullies and she had felt really low. She had some bruises and scrapes, even her lip was split. Her (H/l) (H/c) hair was a bit tangled, and her clothes had a few nicks, she didn't make it very far into the guild before someone noticed. She bumped into a taller figure, her (E/c) eyes locking on the form of Mira. The usually snarky girl was taken aback by the smaller girl's appearance, she was 5 but looked like she just came back from a hard job. "Jesus, what happened to you kid?" She kneeled down, sure she could be harsh and spiteful, but she didn't want to see any of her family hurt. Of course, her actions didn't go unnoticed, Natsu and the others began to fuss as they made it over to the young girl.
This didn't go unnoticed by her older brother, though they were only half siblings Laxus had easily taken in the sweet girl. Her smile was just too much for his heart, so he had set himself to the task of protecting her. Only he had been out on a job for a month, he was supposed to be back that day. He had come through the doors a minute or so after her, his attention had been drawn to where his sister stood when he came in because of the ruckus. "What the hell is going on here?" Everyone fell silent to Laxus's voice, anyone who didn't know what was going on did by now.
The little girl hung her head, shoulders shaking as she tried not to cry though even still some tears escaped. She listened as Laxus's footsteps grew close, the tall blonde picking her up and carrying her to his grandfather's office as he ignored everyone else's curious stares. The old man was sitting on the bar, drink in hand as he knew Laxus could handle this. He sat the small girl on his gramps's desk, tilting her head up. "What happened (Y/n)?" His voice was surprisingly soft despite his stoic look, he grabbed a tissue from nearby and began to dab away some blood from a cut on her cheek. The girl finally let a small sob escape her, tears free flowing and making her scrapes sting. "There are these kids at school *sniff* they keep picking on me. A-and I bumped into them on the way here..." She trembled a bit, Laxus grabbing a clean tissue to wipe her tears with as he sighs. "Don't worry (Y/n) I'll take care of it, from now on someone is going to take you to and from school." Laxus knew he could rely on the others for help, no one here would mind escorting the young girl around. (Y/n) wiped her face, nodding her head as she gazed up at her big brother. He couldn't help but smile at her innocent doe like eyes, he wanted to protect that innocence. "Now let's get you cleaned up."
Two weeks had passed since then, while Laxus would normally be the one to come get her there were a few volunteers. Her Gramps would walk with her to school a lot, even when Laxus took her. But sometimes she'd be greeted by Natsu or Erza, Macao had even picked her up and took her out for Ice cream along with Cana and Levy. She was currently waiting for someone to come get her, usually when she walked out of the school someone was already there. She tilted her head, watching the direction of the guild. Because of this she didn't see the three kids approaching her, a boy with short red hair pushed her and made her fall on her knees. When she turned to look back her hair was grabbed by a girl, she had long brown hair and often would hold her in place for the others. Her knees stung from the scrapes she got from the concrete, as did her hands. But she wasn't going to show it, she held onto her pride like a fairy tail wizard would and glared up at the ringleader. She was a year ahead of (Y/n), she always picked on younger kids.
"Don't look at me like that, it makes you look uglier." She pinched (Y/n)'s cheek, the younger girl jerking her head and biting the older girl's palm hard. Her scalp stung from the hair pulling, but she didn't let go til she was hit in the face by the boy. She fought down a whimper, she could feel blood dripping from her nose. But before things went any further, she could hear footsteps. "Leave her alone!" Looking up she watched as Natsu and grey came into view; Levy, Erza and Cana were right behind them. The children quick to start a battle royal with the 3 attackers, of course the 3 tried to run. (Y/n) sat on the ground astonished, her eyes locking onto the form of her big brother, Mira, and Elfman. The white-haired male had a first aid kit in hand, he was quick to help her. "Sorry we were late (Y/n), Mira and I have a small job at the beach, so we figured it'd be nice to bring you all along. I brought your swim bag." Laxus chuckled and helped the bandaged girl up, lifting her small form onto his hip. He could swallow his pride for her, he would never let it get so big that he couldn't.
She hugged onto him, smiling as he petted her. The other kids soon joined them, everyone happily chatting on the way to the beach. They all missed how Makarov watched over them from nearby, returning to the guild to let all know that things are well.

all too easy.
Tumblr media
requested! -> hello!! :D i've loved your fairy tail fics so far and wanted to know if you could write something for laxus? anything would be fine! thank you! -> can you write some laxus x reader fluff please requested by -> anonymous
a/n -> this was sitting unfinished in my drafts for too long and given that fairy tail is returning in a week basically i HAD to finish it (im still in disbelief my first anime is returning!)
pairing -> laxus dreyar x f!reader
"i have a proposition for you."
quirking a brow up at cana, you know instantly that the sly smile and the mischief dancing in her eyes is nothing good.
you loved cana. of course you did. she was part of your family and your friend, not to mention your teammate; but the girl seemed to get a particular kick out of teasing you. you were more often then not the target of her skeems, usually crafted after a few of her barrels were downed. however, being the resident alcoholic of fairy tail, cana's mind seemed to work better inebriated then it would for others.
so her proposition is regarded with hesitance, pulled away from your own thoughts to focus in on her. "...yes?" you ask softly, prompting her to finish and almost instantly she brightens, the smile turning genuine as she takes a seat at the table across from you.
your eyes fall on the barrel of alcohol she promptly drops beside her.
"i'll give you the full reward of our next mission if you drink with me."
okay... so that was certainly not what you were expecting.
brows furrowing, you shake your head. "that's... all?"
still grinning, cana nods. "that's it. i just want you to drink with me." she explains, tapping her barrell for added effect.
"why?" you ask instantly, not trusting how... simple her request. it's definitely a set up of some sort... the only problem is you can't figure out what or just what her angle is. "you've never asked me to drink with you before and we've known each other a long time so—"
"y/n?"
"yes?"
"i just want to drink with my best friend," she says, her voice oddly soft and sincere in a way that it normally never is. you knew cana cared, of course, but she was rarely ever this serious. "and i know you don't like drinking so im bribing you."
you pause, regarding her for a moment longer. you let your eyes drag across her, taking in her expression and trying to find some sort of hint that there was something beyond what she meant.
you couldn't find anything.
the guilt starts to well then. it seemed cana truly just wanted to have a drink with you and you think back to all the times you'd rather quickl denied her request. it never was more than just because you could not keep up with cana without getting incredibly drunk and you were... not a fun drunk to say the least.
but... you supposed a few drinks couldn't hurt.
"okay," you concede, nodding as you signal mira to bring the two of you some cups. "i'll drink with you."
cana lets out a whoop, her hand pumping the air and you watch on with a laugh, shaking your head.
-
it's not just a few drinks.
it's practically her whole barrel and before you know it, you're thoroughly drunk. your words slur and your movements are jagged, you're not even fully conscious of what you're saying or doing; all you know is that you're having fun and there's not a single care in regard to anything else.
somewhere along the way, as to be expected, other members of the guild started to join in the fun. wakaba and macao were the first, then team natsu returned from a mission and of course, natsu was quick to join in the celebration. he'd tugged lucy and happy with him and gray, erza and wendy trailed behind.
with them came the rest.
the whole guild was in an uproar and you were basking the full of it.
completely unaware of the eyes watching you quietly, you linked arms with cana, the both of you singing loudly, out of pitch and without a single care in the world. some of the guild members watched on in amusement, clapping and cheering the both of you on.
you'd ended up on a table without meaning to, dancing around without watching your step. it takes five minutes before you inevitably trip, stepping back only for your foot to land on nothing, and feel yourself slipping back as your arm slips from cana.
you register that you're falling but you're inebriated state leaves you unable to catch yourself, a gasp of surprise leaving your lips as you wait to slam into the floor beneath you. your eyes squeeze shut in anticipation, but...
but you never hit the ground.
instead, you're enveloped in warmth. arms catch you, wrapping around your back and under your knees as you're held against a firm chest. with a gasp, you open your eyes, only to see laxus looming over you, eyes flickering across you as if assessing you for any injuries.
"laxus!"
his name leaves your lips in a squeal of surprise and it seems the commotion of everything caught the attention of the guild as there's cheers called out for laxus' save and a few whistles that has your cheeks burning.
you expect laxus to let you go, but he just stands up straight, still silent and still holding you close to him. his eyes flicker across the rest of the guild and then he's turning, making his way to the guild doors—with you.
"aw! laxus! don't ruin all the fun!"
it's cana who calls out, voice pitching and loud but laxus just shakes his head, never faltering in his step, opening the guild doors and letting them fall shut behind him. the chaos of the guild grows muffled and instead instantly, and you're left out in the cool magnolia air, only then realizing how late it had gotten.
"where... where are we going?" you ask tentatively, unsure of your own voice and hating the way your words still slightly slur.
"i'm taking you home."
you nod, more to yourself than anything. nearly falling had taken you from your stupor slightly but your mind was still jumbled and you could clearly feel the effects of alcohol coarsing through your system; it didn't help that it was laxus that had caught you or that you were alone with him.
for as long as you can remember you've had a raging crush on him.
being apart of the guild since you were a little girl, you'd had a schoolgirl crush on laxus; it was a mix of the fact that he was older and you'd been enamoured with his magic. only, you never really grew out of it. even when he'd done his attack on fairy tail, your heart had been in a state of conflict between your feelings and the cruel actions he'd done.
and when he'd been kicked out? you'd been distraught; only to be ecstatic when he returned that day on tenrou island. sure, it had been followed by being asleep for seven years, but regardless, laxus had returned and it seemed with it his attitude had changed.
while he'd never been cruel to you, you'd spent most of your time watching him with adoring eyes. but when you'd all returned from tenrou, there was a noticeable difference in laxus. he was still quiet and he did tend to stick to himself, but where he'd been cruel and crude before, he was awkward and endearing. he was considerably kinder and the two of you had even grown closer in the passing months since.
needless to say, that schoolgirl crush had grown into a fullout 'i-like-you-so-much-i-can't-fuction-around-you' crush.
so, clearly, you were freaking out.
it takes you a moment to realize you're still in his arms, wrapped securely around your waist and the blush deepens as you hastily worm your way out of his grasp, pushing against his chest. the action causes laxus to halt in surprise, turning to glance down at you with parted lips as you frantically wave your hands in front of you.
"i-i can walk home on my own," you rush out, words still clearly slurring. "i me-mean, thank you for catching me but you don't need to... you don't need walk me home. i don't want to be a bother."
there's a beat of silence, then; "you're not a bother."
and you blink, stunned, eyes flickering up to meet his calm and steady ones.
"i don't mind," he clarifies, the words somewhat awkward. are his cheeks red or are you just imagining that? "i... i want to make sure you get home safe."
"oh."
you regret the second you say it, feeling like a complete fool as your cheeks burn and you stare back at him like an idiot.
blinking, you force yourself to speak; "o-okay, then."
you turn and he follows and then the two of you are walking again. it's awkwardly silent and you're mentally cursing yourself because it wasn't like this was the first time you've ever been alone with laxus so why can't you think of anything to say? you want to blame it on your inebriated state but you know that isn't completely it.
his words, though probably not meant by anything more, of wanting you to get home safe is getting to your heart and making your heart race—and that is making your brain short circuit on what to say.
you're so lost in your own thoughts you aren't watching when you're stepping and for the second time that night you lose your balance, tripping and tipping forward as your vision blurs.
this time you're sure you're going to fall but you forget that laxus isn't a s-class ranked wizard for nothing, and his reflexes allow him to slip his arm around your waist with ease. once again you feel you back press against his firm and warm chest, and you're positive you might pass out.
"maybe i should just carry you."
you blink, wide eyes turning to face laxus and you're even further surprised to see the small grin on his face at his own teasing.
"i-i..." but no words leave your lips because you have no argument. "sorry..."
laxus just shakes his head but before you can say anything more, he's shifting, his arm slipping underneath the bend of your knees and your axis is tilted as he lifts you into his arms, bridle style.
"oh!"
he shuffles, making sure you're properly in his arms before meeting your gaze; "this okay?"
letting out a shaky breath, you don't dare try to speak—knowing you'll only make more of a fool of yourself—and nod with burning cheeks.
the rest of the walk goes pretty uneventful from there. you don't live far from the guild so laxus reaches your small apartment with ease having been there before when returning from a mission that you and cana had joined laxus' team for. you'd moved out of the fairy apartments a while ago because although you loved the girls, having a space to your own was something you'd desperately needed.
you're more than thankful for that in this moment cause you don't think you could handle the embarrassment of any of the girls seeing laxus carry you home.
you hand him your key when you reach your door and instead of leaving the second he's set you down inside, you're pleasantly surprised by how laxus stays.
swallowing thickly, you shuffle in front of him; "once again, thank you. for-for everything."
laxus' eyes fall on you, nodding; "of course." then, after a moment, he adds; "i... uh, was surprised to see you drunk. you normally don't join cana on her bad habits."
tucking a strand of hair behind your ears, you glance at your feet; "yeah... definitely learnt my lesson for that one."
laxus pauses; "i mean... i wouldn't mind if it meant i got to be the one to walk you home."
you're sure you misheard that. had... had laxus just been flirting?
turning to him, your lips part; "what?"
this time you're sure his cheeks are red.
"you're cute drunk," is what he says, stunning you further. "it bothered me how some of the other guys there were eyeing you so when i saw you fall, i... well, made sure i was the one to catch you."
he promptly avoids your gaze all while he speaks, rubbing the back of his neck and cheeks as flushed as yours.
"o-oh..." you mumble, before cursing yourself. stupid you and stupid brain for shortcircuting. "i-i mean... are you saying what i think you're saying?"
slowly, laxus' eyes shift to yours.
"yeah..." he breathes, "especially if you feel the same."
for the first time you're thankful for your inebriated state that gives you the courage to close the small distance between the two of you and promptly press your lips against laxus'. you fall against him with a swoosh, hands wrapping around his neck as you let your eyes flutter shut, sinking into him further the second he tugs you closer by the waist.
it's exactly like you always hoped it would be and you can hardly believe you're kissing him even as his lips slant against your own.
a moment later, breathless, you pull away, chest rising and falling with laxus' as he cups the back of your head and meets your gaze.
your eyes flicker from his eyes back to his lips.
"we-we shouldn't."
and at first you're panicked, heart stopping momentarily, but laxus is smiling in a way you've never seen before (and a way that takes you breath away) and shakes his head; "i don't want our first time to be while you're drunk. i have no doubt of my feelings, but i want you to be sober."
could your heart possibly swoon anymore?
biting your lip, you smile, wide; "at least spend the night?"
laxus grins; "of course."
-
"so... did you and laxus have a good night?"
eyes zoning in on cana, you frown; "what does that mean?"
shrugging, with her regular barrel in between her legs, "nothing," she says, playing it off nonchalantly. "just, you two left together last night and came to the guild this morning together. it's a bit suspicious, don't you think?"
you stare at her for a moment longer, taking in her grin and the twinkle of mischief in her eyes and promptly gasp; "you got me drunk on purpose!"
cana glances away; "i have no idea what you're talking about!"
"yes, you do!" you accuse, pointing your finger at her. "you wanted me to make a fool of myself... so... so what? laxus would come in and help?"
cana scoffs; "the two of you were ridiculous. always making heart-eyes at each other," she laughs. "i had to step in. for you, of course."
rolling your eyes, you stare at her in disbelief.
staring past you, cana just grins; "it worked didn't it?"
and you're confused at first, until a hand settles on your shoulder and you glance up to meet laxus' familiar and soft look.
"hey," he smiles and for all his talk of being tough, it seems even he can't fight the lovesick grin off his face.
a quick glance at cana tells you she's drinking her victory in, but really, you can't be all that angry when you see the way laxus is looking at you.

Hello! Idk if you re taking fairy tial requests, but, could I have some laxus fluff please?
I was thinking about how he would act if someone was hitting on his crush, please? Thank you!

Laxus x gn! reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You were sitting at the guildhall thinking to yourself. You saw multiple people sit in front of you. You did recognize these people you knew they were new guild members though since the master announced it earlier. You saw them with big grins.
“Hey your [Name] right? Wow you’re so cool in person!” A girl said as she looks mesmerized by you. “Yeah I hear you take down so many bad guys just with your pinky.” A guy said as he admired you. You laugh at how much you’re getting flattered. “Thanks…” “Do you have a soulmate by any chance?” The girls asks you. You chuckle and say no. By that it gave them a chance try to ask you but then they saw a figure stand right behind you.
They saw lightning around the figure to be revealed Laxus. He was glaring them down hard…They immediately got petrified. You looked at them with an eyebrow raise as their attention went back to you. “N-Nevermind um we’re gonna go.” The guy said giving a nod towards him as they both backed away from you. You saw Laxus take the seat they were at in front of you. He sat there and smiled gently. “I got us a job. Just the two of us.” Laxus slid the poster to you as you took a look. You smiled at the job and reward. “Sounds good and no thunder legion.” You asked as he shook his head no in his usual stern manner. You thought that was weird but didn’t mind. “It’s a date.” You smiled as he smiled back. “Guess it is a date.” He mumbled to himself with a hint of pink shown on his cheeks.

Hello!
How are you? I was wondering if you could write some Fairy Tail fluff please?
I was thinking of something with Laxus and Sting ( separately) jealous hc please?
Thank you!
Tumblr media
A/n: Hello, I'm doing pretty good. How are you? Anyways thank you for request I hope you enjoy these and as always remember to hydrate or diedrate.
Tumblr media
Sting:
He's not normally the Jealous type so I feel it would take a lot for him to really get jealous
for this we'll say you've been spending a lot more time around Rogue
At first he just thinks you're getting closer with Rogue because He's his best friend and he's happy about it
But then the two of you start being secretive, nothing big just hushed conversations and going quiet when he enters the room
He can't help but think something is going on, after all what if you changed your mind and fell for the shadow dragon over him
So thinking his friend won his s/o, Sting would start to grow distant
He'd eat meals in his office or skip them all together, not go on jobs with You and Rogue as much claiming he had guild master work to do (even though we all know he never actually does it)
Sting would also get easily irritated, snapping at guild members for little things and ignoring anyone who tries to ask if he's okay
Once finally notice and try to talk to him, he's on guard after all how can he trust you when you've been spending more time around Rogue instead of with him
You'll most likely have to slap him once to get him to actually listen but don't worry he does eventually listen
He'll apologize repeatedly for thinking anything was happening between you and Rogue, especially once you tell him you were hang out with Rogue to help Frosch become a little more independent
Sting will also be a little more clingy for a little while after
Always having a hand in yours or on your waist or shoulder, he just wants to reassure him self that you really are still with him and aren't going to leave him
Laxus:
This wall of a man is 100% the silent/protective jealous type
He wouldn't get jealous super easy but there is one person who can cause this man to get jealous over nothing
That person is none other than the Pink haired Dragon slayer, Natsu
Laxus knows that you're friends with the fire dragon, but something about the way he can always make you laugh really grates at the Lightning dragon
His jealousy starts out as glares across the guild hall, if looks could kill the pinkette would be dead 100 times over by now
He just sits silently and watches telling himself and the rest of the Thunder legion (who already figured out he was jealous) that he is just making sure you're okay
After a while of just glaring and neither of you noticing his stare, Laxus will get up and walk over to you
He'll stay quiet except for a slight grumble as he sits down next to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder
The blonde would just sit there, chest puffed up a bit trying to silently show who you belong too
But once he feels you relax into him, he softens
He may not say it but feeling you lean further into his side, while you talk with your friend helps calm him down
Laxus still shoots a glare at his fellow dragon slayer but it's more out of the fact that Natsu gets on his nerves than anything else at this point
He'll still wait for the perfect moment to pull you away from the conversation with Natsu so he can fully relax but having you next to him reassures him that you wouldn't trade him for anyone else
