Things Simon Riley says
Masterlist
Nothing.
This man is silent all of the time.
It’s unsettling.
You almost think he’s mute because of how eerily silent he is literally all of the time.
(You had also thought he was deaf so you attempted to sign really badly and John lost his shit laughing. “He can hear just fine love. He’s just an arsehole.”)
John is your personal translator for the first few months and can somehow read Simon’s expressions while you slowly figure it out.
Which leads to the first time he does speak around you.
Simon, his voice hoarse and low from no use, greeting you for the first time as he walks into John’s house, “good ta see ya.”
Simon shaking his head and chuckling at your wide and startled eyes.
Simon slowly saying more and more to you, sometimes it’s a simple, “how are ya today?” and other times it’s your name in that baritone gruff voice that heats up your face.
Simon grumbling at Johnny when he attempts to sit beside you at dinner one night, “no, move.”
Simon glaring at him and uttering the simple two words again.
Simon quietly saying, “food’s good,” to you as you all finish your meal and you nearly choke on your food thanking him.
Simon correctly the guys when they refer to you as ‘John’s neighbor’, “she’s got a name. Use it.”
Simon barking out, “10 more laps for that shit” when they’re all doing PT and Johnny pops off about how he might ask out “John’s cute little neighbor.”
Simon sending you a text one day that reads “dinner tonight? I’ll cook.”
Simon making causal conversation as he methodically prepares ramen for you two, the hulking man taking up your entire kitchen, “How long ‘ave ya lived here?”
Simon blocking you entering the kitchen when you try to clean up with a stern , “no sit down and eat. I cooked so I’ll clean up.”
Simon keeping your weekly dinners up for months until he has to go on a mission and before he leaves the last time, he places a kiss on the corner of your lips while whispering “I’ll be back. 6 months tops. Take pictures of everything you make and we’ll make together when I get back.”

I think the phrase "video games dont cause violence" is a lot more specific of an argument than people care to realize because the term obviously isnt about like. Stardew valley and the "wholesome games" explosion. Because those didnt exist at the time the phrase was like. Created. Around shit like doom being blamed for the columbine shooting. The "violence" in video games dont cause violence has a specific image.
And arguing that video games dont cause violence had some use in attacking dominant narratives about columbine and later mass shootings. But it never went far enough because people only cared about video games and making fun of conservatives and not the real issue!!! That those dudes were white supremacist neonazis!!!! That racism is a massive motivator for mass shootings when theyre not caused by misogyny!!!!! That people were yes geniunely shocked and looking for any reasoning but also oh my god people capitalized on that shit and buried the racism unintentionally or otherwise
But it doesnt make sense to be repeating the same talking point when the context is entirely different. Video games are mainstream now your mom is a gamer. No one gives a shit if a kid plays gta. And thats fine! Video games dont cause mass shootings, racism and/or misogyny do. And those real causes matter because no shit the white supremacist american government isnt doing shit about them!!! But video games were a good target to look like they were taking action. But thats not the context video games exist in today. Fuck the united states has is reactionary domestically they dont need to do attack video games for mass shootings!! They can just blame trans people and especially trans women like they want to and fuel even more mass shootings reinforcing oppression and inequality and they dont do shit about them because random white supremacist terror helps a white supremacist country!!!! Dehumanization leads to violence, racism leads to violence and it flourishes under white supremacy!!
Like fuck "Violent video games" won so much so that the american military funds military propaganda like call of duty!!!! Video games never really mattered as soon as they were useful for imperialist military propaganda they were fine just like fucking. Idk trans people in the military. But the issue was never addressed and especially not by the video games dont cause violence guys.
Theres just no reason to use talking points from like 20 years ago. Especially when yeah video games are recognized for what they are. A medium just like movies and books. Which are also used for military propaganda. Like thats why people are asking new questions about how do video games contribute to imperialist violence and racism that fuels violence and not shit from 20 years ago thats from an entirely different conversation.

Seo: Unlocking Organic Growth
Smart businesses know that Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a critical part of their online success. SEO drives free traffic to your website and boosts visibility. Understanding and implementing top-notch SEO strategies can transform your business and lead to remarkable growth.
Keyword Research For Maximum Visibility
The right keywords act like beacons that guide users to your content. Effective keyword research puts your business in the spotlight. It’s about understanding what your audience searches for and optimizing your content to meet those queries.
Use tools like Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush to discover popular search terms.
Analyze the competition to find gaps in the market.
Focus on long-tail keywords to target specific audiences and intents.
Staying Ahead Of The Algorithm Changes
Search engines often change their algorithms, keeping businesses on their toes. To stay ahead:
Keep content fresh and high-quality. Google loves new, relevant content.
Follow SEO news and updates through blogs or online communities.
Ensure your site is mobile-friendly, as mobile-first indexing is a key ranking factor.
Staying informed and adaptable to changes can secure your rank on search engine results pages.
E-mail Marketing: A Direct Line To Customers
Imagine reaching out to your customers with a personalized touch that feels like a one-on-one conversation. E-mail marketing offers this direct line of communication. It allows businesses to convey their message in a way no other digital marketing channel can. The personal inbox is a private space, and with the right strategy, your business can shine here.
Creating Compelling Newsletters
Newsletters breathe life into e-mail marketing. They keep your audience engaged and informed. A well-crafted newsletter can turn readers into customers, and customers into brand advocates.
Start with a catchy subject line. This is your first impression.
Design matters. Use clean, responsive templates that adapt to various devices.
Highlight key content with bold call-to-actions.
Keep your message clear and to the point. Short sentences work best.
Use bullet points to break down information.
Integrate visuals. Images and graphics can tell a story more effectively than text alone.
Segmentation And Personalization Techniques
Not all customers are the same. Segmentation divides your audience into groups with similar characteristics. Personalization speaks to each group differently.
To segment effectively, consider demographics, behavior, and purchase history.
Personalization can skyrocket open rates and conversions. Address recipients by name. Tailor content to their interests and past interactions with your brand.
Segmentation Criteria Personalization Tactics Location Localized offers Purchase history Recommended products User behavior Abandoned cart reminders
Automated tools can help tailor e-mails based on these criteria.
Remember, the goal is a click, and eventually, a conversion. Your e-mail marketing should create a smooth path towards this.

Real scientists unmask the anti-transgender Cass Review as methodologically flawed and misleading
Tumblr media
The Cass Review, a widely cited report on gender-affirming care in the U.K., has been heavily criticized by researchers for its methodological flaws and unsupported claims.
A new peer review published in BMC Medical Research Methodology found that the review lacked statistical rigor, misrepresented evidence, and excluded key studies without justification.
Headed by pediatrician Dr. Hilary Cass, the Cass report dismissed gender-affirming medical care as unreliable, recommending "exploratory therapy," which critics argue is akin to conversion therapy.
The review applied biased analytical methods, misquoted previous studies, and selectively adapted assessment tools to justify anti-trans conclusions.
It also advocated randomized controlled trials (RCTs) for puberty blockers, which experts denounced as unethical. Despite its flaws, the Cass Review influenced policies, leading to a U.K. ban on puberty blockers and contributing to restrictive health measures in the U.S.
Chris Noone and his colleagues write:
Using the ROBIS tool, we identified a high risk of bias in each of the systematic reviews driven by unexplained protocol deviations, ambiguous eligibility criteria, inadequate study identification, and the failure to integrate consideration of these limitations into the conclusions derived from the evidence syntheses. We also identified methodological flaws and unsubstantiated claims in the primary research that suggest a double standard in the quality of evidence produced for the Cass report compared to quality appraisal in the systematic reviews.
Experts urge policymakers to reject the report, calling for research centered on patient autonomy and accurate scientific analysis.
See Them for more.

Shifting proof, you're not wasting your time.
Tumblr media
"My beloved, the distances between us have been erased, I am here, I am here."
(If anyone is able to guess which song lyric I translated here I will love you for all my existence)
If you're doubting shifting, then read this:
Let's dive into your mind. Most importantly, into your dreams.
Have you ever realised why you dream? Dreams are just for your subconscious mind to reherse your current reality, in practice all its doing is to ensure you don't fall out of your reality.
No matter how insane of a dream you're having, it has some resemblance with the life you are currently leading. Have you ever tried to figure out just how weird the whole concept of dreams are? For example, it's common knowledge to everyone, even antishifters, that lucid dreams are a thing. Meaning you can literally play around in your mind. When you sleep, do you realise the passage of time? Sometimes your sleep stretches on for long and you don't realise you've slept that much, sometimes, dream cover a lot within a short cycle of sleep. So what proof of time could you possibly present to yourself during your hours of slumbers, where is this clock that's supposed to dictate your life?
Sometimes you don't even dream, although unconscious processes are going on in your human brain, but where are you? In the void, you're floating around somewhere in the void, without any care of your reality for once, this is called your common consciousness, or just the void state.
Whenever you wake up from a deep sleep, you feel disoriented and confused, you hear conversations and imagine things which didn't happen, there is no literal proof that these happenings are just caused by general grogginess. This confusion is your consciousness readjusting to the reality you're in.
Let's discuss what all of this science and physics is. It's essentially just a method your consciousness put up in order for you to not fall out of reality, and to not have to face thanos out of nowhere, therefore logic exists.
We are from our roots just souls floating around in nothingness, we're souls capable of creation of anything by thoughts, will, and energy. We need a medium for suitable existence, for all of the people existing alongside us, what we have in common is that our consciousness has chose a similar mode of existence for us, which is by living as human beings on this livable spherical ball, where we accept the principles of luck.
Why does a system of being ridiculed by your environment and people around you and the formation of unwanted doubts exist whenever you claim something "impossible" by human terms, for example, if you assumed and started claiming the sun rising from the opposite direction as the truth, that's going to become your base since you are creating reality, therefore you will break reality and to prevent it you yourself once put these limitations, just like how you script your DRs.
But once you realise the fact that all along this organised way of existence was put up by you in order to excite your consciousness by going through these experiences, you'll realise shifting realities, manifesting, or just going back to floating as a soul in the void is a known principle for you and easy, and you don't have to struggle to gain it, you've been doing it all your existence, then you'll shift on command.
Reality is just like a dough, which you have been molding and adjusting it accordingly.
Shape that dough into your DR
It's you. It's always been you, you've been the main provider and controller, you've just temporarily gone to existing in the form of a human vessel, breaking free is nothing difficult.
Anyways, belief in this is all you need to shift, it's freaking easy even if it's just you going to your DR to get railed. "But doubts-!!" Shush. If doubts are able to stop a process for you, you could also utilise them in a way which benefit you, from this moment do a complete uno reverse card on your doubts, you used to doubts your manifestations, go ahead and start doubting your existence being anything but perfect.
"I don't think I can be a common human being weeping over mere earthly problems, all ill ever be is a master manifestor who could do whatever I want."
...
I finished this draft at 5:55.
Now that I think about it shifting using doubts could be pretty neat, but I still have another 2 methods bending from the poll, so that's on my pending list I guess.
This entire post was a rant from my side so if there is anything confusing or out of place, just ask. Ask away until your little heart is satisfied and then go shift because what are you doing here when you could just go study at hogwarts where the stairs try to put you in your grave.

Mine - Viktor x Reader
Tumblr media
Description -
Viktor performs oral on virgin Reader.
1.5k words
F/M. 18+. Smut. NSFW. Oral. Virgin Reader.
“How do you know so much about everything?” You joked.
You had not expected Viktor to take it so seriously. He seemed a little wounded.
“Do I appear to think I know so much about everything?” He asked in response.
“I didn’t mean it like that Viktor” You explained, “I just meant that you are so intelligent and knowledgeable, sometimes I can feel a bit out of my depth.”
“Ah” He looked saddened “I had never considered that you would feel this way, you keep up with me so well”
The sight of him disheartened hurt.
“I think it’s really attractive.” You try to reassure him, “When you know so much. It’s never a negative”
He chuckled, “You find my knowledge attractive?”
“Well, I find the whole of you attractive, but there’s something special about hearing things that you are clearly well-educated in.”
“Oh really?” He asks, “My education isn’t strictly academic you know”
Viktor looks amused, leaning forward on his elbows across the table at you. You had been flirting in his study for some time and it appeared to be coming to a natural conclusion. You were nervous though still confident in the experience being positive and what you wanted. You were very inexperienced sexually and this long period of flirtation proved enough for you to decide exactly how you wanted it.
“Teach me” You state.
“Teach you what?” He asks with a bemused smile.
“Something non-academic”
“Anything?”
“Anything”
“Follow me to my bed, Miss (Y/N).” He invites.
Viktor’s bedroom is adjoined to his study, the two spaces linked by a door. As he stands, he reaches out a hand and you take it and follow him. His bedroom is clean, warm and dark, with a small lamp in the corner and a made bed to the right wall. Viktor closes the door behind you.
Viktor leads you to the bed and sits next to you. He turns and looks at you for a long while, examining the curves of your face and the familiar look of your skin. He is honoured you are trusting him in this way and equally excited at being in this position. He had felt romantically towards you for quite some time however was not sure you returned his feelings. Today had given him the courage to pursue them, your flirtatious conversations had become a green light encouraging him to indulge himself in your affection.
You could see something in the way he watched you, judging and perceiving. He raised his hand to your face, his thumb swiping over your cheek and moving to grip the back of your head, playing with your hair. He pulls you in for a passionate kiss.
“I am going to teach you” He manages, between breaths and kisses, “how my tongue feels.”
At this, Viktor increased his urgency, kissing you hungrily. He reclines you onto his bed, your head on his pillow as he lays above you, supporting his weight on his arms. He slips a knee between your thighs.
“I will start with the basic principle” He starts, licking at your tongue gently, as if testing the temperature.
“Then maybe I will introduce some alternative methods” He continues, removing his mouth from yours to follow the curve of your jaw to your neck. When at your ear, he stops. His breath is warm and heavy, and it sends shivers through you when he speaks. His knee is pressing into you, its weight unbearable. The pressure against you was enough to make your hips move on their own, riding his thigh.
Viktor watches you attempt to find friction, he grins, finding the sight amusing.
“All it takes is my knee to elicit this reaction Miss (Y/N), I will make easy work of you with my mouth.”
You try to flirt back, “Viktor- “
Viktor’s knee is moving now, grinding at you relentlessly. His mouth is licking and biting at your neck, trailing to your chest. He shifts his weight to hold one of your hands, lifting it above your head and pinning it there. With his other hand, Viktor lifts your shirt, rearranging your bra to get a better view of you.
“I am going to give you a demonstration” Viktor lowers his mouth to your breast, tilting to the side so you can view what he is doing with his tongue. Viktor licks gently at the very tip of you, then beginning to swirl his tongue around the sides, takes you into his mouth sucking with firm pressure. The feel of him and the sight of his tongue and lips on you makes you grind harder against his knee. His mouth is hot. His hand cups you and he squeezes, incorporating teeth to gently graze you. Between nips of his teeth, he rapidly flicks his tongue, continuing this with long smooth strokes.
Viktor moves his mouth to kiss you again, he shifts down. The pressure of his knee is removed, and he shuffles towards the lower end of the bed. Kneeling, he pulls down your trousers, manoeuvring them under your hips and off down your legs. He discards them at the bottom of the bed. He lays flat on his front, face hovering just above the top of your thighs and hooks an arm under each of your legs, pulling you under his mouth.
“Are you ready for me?” He asks.
He spreads open your legs slowly, laying them flat before him. He takes in the view, grinning happily.
“I have often thought about this moment”
Viktor coats his fingers with his mouth, using the saliva he has already worked up. His fingers drip with it as he teases you open, sliding against your folds, holding you open and sensitive.
“You are exactly what I imagined. No one before has had the pleasure of tasting you, have they Miss (Y/N)?”
You stumble, “No.”
“You belong beneath my tongue. You always have done.”
Viktor’s fingers circle your clit, tracing small shapes.
“Are you a virgin, Miss (Y/N)?”
You get quite nervous at the question. You were. You weren’t sure how Viktor would react. There was no reason why you though that he would react negatively, you had gathered he was experienced. If at least, more so than yourself. You had just become quite protective over it; you wanted the situation to be comfortable and equal.
“Yes.” You reply quietly.
You feel a blazing heat as Viktor closes his mouth around you, lapping with broad strokes against your clit. The inside of his mouth is wet, and you feel his saliva coat you, spreading warmth down and across your thighs. His tongue feels so smooth, he curls it and flicks it to achieve maximum sensation, and you are instantly coming undone.
“Viktor!” You moan out.
“You moan so purely” He teases, “It is fitting that the only thing to have ever fucked you is my tongue.”
You push up and against his mouth. His words are sweet and when he speaks, your body reacts. You are desperate for him, for more of him. He thrusts his tongue inside. You instinctively wrap your hands into his hair.
“Oh Viktor- “
He speeds up, flatly spreading his tongue between your entrance and your clit, focusing on either when reaching them. At your clit he rapidly flicks and sucks, increasing pressure and focus.
“Just focus on the feeling, I want to hear the noises you make.”
You feel a strange rising in your core, like a building heat threatening to explode. It is raising as he quickens. Viktor is grinding into the bed, you notice it in his hips, he’s writhing. He wants you just as much as you want him.
“You are mine” He murmurs, the words lost in the muffled sounds of the both of you. “Once I’m done having you on my face, I’ll have you on my cock.”
You are both desperate. You for release, and him for touch.
“Viktor, Can I have- “Your words fail you.
“What do you want, Miss (Y/N)?”
“You, your cock, please- “
“Do you need it, Miss (Y/N)?” He asks, making eye contact while flicking his tongue backwards and forwards.
“Yes Viktor, please”
“How do you expect to take me when you haven yet experienced all that my tongue can do?”
Viktor tightens his grip and forces you down with more pressure against the muscles of his mouth. The feeling is rising again, that unfamiliar pleasure. You are near the edge you just can’t tell what that edge is, until you are spilling over it, desperately grinding over his tongue, coating his nose and chin with thick wetness.
“I’m- “You scream out.
Viktor drinks it down, swallowing you whole. He doesn’t dare move his mouth, he keeps his pace and encourages more and more from you. Your pleasure is blinding.
“I can’t take anymore!” You moan out, trying to grip at his arms to loosen up their firm grasp on your thighs.
“You are capable.”
You are shuddering against him, sweating. He leaves a few little kisses over your clit before pulling away. His face is wet, his hair dishevelled. You notice the thick outline of him straining against his clothes.
He reassures that you are comfortable before stating, “I am going to make you mine, Miss (Y/N).”

YUKI I HAVE AN IDEA!
What if reader and shoto are arranged married for quirk stuff. They are aware due to both sides of family. What’s awkward was THEY WERE CLASSMATES AJAJAJJAJAJA pls, this is funnier in my head.
when you’re in an arranged marriage with shoto todoroki, your old classmate from UA
Tumblr media
when you were informed you had an arranged marriage with shoto todoroki, you were confused until your father told you it was because of quirk marriage.
unfortunately, it happened to both your father and shoto’s father, as you knew him from UA. you already knew much about his past, how his quirks work and how he uses them, which attacks of his are stronger and which are weaker, so maybe it wouldn’t be too uncomfortable.
you weren’t necessarily devastated, just a little surprised, as you hadn’t seen him in a year or so. when shoto was told he would wed you, he wasn’t too ecstatic either, not wanting to have to make a ‘perfect child’ like what his father tried to do. but he remembered your name, the memories flooding back from UA and from the war you almost lost each other in.
but your father wanted you to spend time with shoto so the two of you could get used to each other, a bit sweeter on his part. surely, the hangout wouldn’t be too awkward, after all, you were friends-ish back in high school!
oh, you couldn’t have been more wrong.
you arrive at the todoroki residence with your father for dinner, walking in with formal clothes and jewelry on. when he rings the doorbell, you stand behind him, and shoto’s father, endeavor, answers the doorbell immediately with a smile on his face.
he greets your father and opens the door for him, “mr. l/n, i’m glad you could make it!” his smile slightly falters, “where’s the girl?”
you tilt your head and peek over your father’s shoulder with piercing eyes, staring into endeavor’s now softer ones. he grins as the two of you walk in, and he places a warm hand on your shoulder, leading you further into the house, more to the dining table.
there, you see shoto sitting at the table with food methodically scattered across it, and he taps his hand against his thighs, waiting for you. once he hears the thumping of feet coming towards him, he turns his head but doesn’t stand up or greet his father, nor yours, but he sends you a slight smile. he wouldn’t admit it, but he missed you dearly.
so you sit across from him, and your fathers sit across from each other, starting a conversation but not inviting you two in. you roll your eyes and try to avoid eye contact, feeling yourself become sweatier and more nervous by every passing second. he was still intimidating.
you grab some food and put it on your plate, and shoto quickly does the same, as he was waiting for you to grab the food first. you begin to eat with your chopsticks, and chew quickly, supposing fuyumi made the food, as she did back in high school.
but you feel eyes looking at you, so you sigh and look at your father, who has a disapproving look on his face. he scolds, “y/n, you know the men are supposed to eat first.”
you raise an eyebrow in confusion and shake your head, “since when is that a rule?”
your father continues staring at you before giving a forced smile to endeavor, “i apologize for her behavior, i don’t know what's gotten into her lately.”
they continue their conversation, and you politely ask shoto, “where’s the bathroom?”
he eagerly replies, “i’ll show you,” and stands up from his seat, placing his napkin on the table and leading you down numerous hallways to the bathroom.
you break the comfortable silence, “it’s kinda weird seeing you again, shoto. sorry we lost contact after high school, i got really busy.”
he pauses, “it’s alright,” he tries to make up something, “i got busy too.” it wasn’t a total lie, but he thinks he could’ve managed keeping a relationship with you while doing hero work.
you nod, and he puts out a hand, referring to the bathroom, and you thank him, go to the bathroom, and you don’t hear the footsteps that trail in the hallway.
toya keeps his hands in his pockets, then asks, “why are you standing outside the door, weirdo?”
a soft smile appears on shoto’s face. he speaks, “y/n’s in there,” then raises an eyebrow when toya doesn’t immediately respond, “the earth-wind girl.”
toya lets out an ‘ohh’ and tilts his head, “what’s she doing here?”
shoto’s eyes slightly widen at his brother’s confusion. how the hell did he not know about his marriage? he blurts out, “dad arranged us to get married.”
toya’s eyes widen, and suddenly there’s a darkness within them. he balls up his fists and asks, “history repeats itself, huh? that bastard isn’t any different from a couple of years ago.” he pauses, eyes becoming a bit more teasing, “what are your thoughts on her? on your marriage?”
shoto takes a second to think about it, looking up at the ceiling. he softly replies, “i don’t want to get married to her for the sole purpose of having a multi-quirk child,” he hesitates saying something, but eventually opens his mouth, “but i’m not totally against marrying her. she knows how to handle herself and is good around children, plus she’s smart, has a great personality.” toya’s eyebrow raises, and he grins, but shoto shakes his head, “i remember that from my high school years.”
he then realizes that toya isn’t fully looking at him, but rather behind him, at you.
you came out of the bathroom a few minutes ago, and shoto didn’t even notice.
Tumblr media
in my mind toya is rehabilitated and goes to therapy so he’s back home w his siblings and parents. thought it’d be fun and maybe a lil cute to add him bc i miss him so much, thank you so much for requesting this. it was pretty cute to make

John finally gets the bird he’s been watching
Cw: sex, implied sadist John, mostly just smut with little plot.
F!reader X John price
Zero self preservation, this girl. John noticed it quickly: the way she was completely unaware of her surroundings; the way she smiled and apologized to each and every man that"accidentally" touched her; the way she politely chatted to blokes at the bar, all while completely oblivious to their unmistakable advances. All sunshine and smiles, her demeanor made him watch her closely. It was intrigue, maybe.
John isn't what most people would consider comfortable. He doesn't care much for social graces; he stands too close, stares too hard. He's just not exactly the soft, loving type that little thing probably needs. This fact doesn't stop him, though. She doesn't stop him either.
She doesn't seem to mind when his hand runs up her side while he's talking to her, nor does she seem to understand what's going on when he buys her drink after drink. This happens every weekend; she and her friends are here every Saturday at exactly 8 p.m. He's got it down to a science at this point.
John has always been methodical about it. He wants that stupid girl, sure, but he wants it to stick, wants her to stay.
"What do ya want today, bird?" He hums, easing himself down onto the stool next to her. Her friends have long disappeared, like usual.
"Better friends." John doesn't miss the way she grumbled, the sour little expression on her face. They've always been such awful friends, he can tell, but that's okay, Birdie. He can make it better.
"Mhm, be better off without 'em," John rumbled out in response. He watched her: her sweet expression, the little half smile. Sweet, pretty thing.
"Yeah, maybe," she sighed but smiled at him. They're friends. Or at least friends until he can get what he wants without spooking her.
"Well, you got me." A smile fell over his face, meant to ease her: We are friends, Bird, don't worry. His hand softly eased up her back; she didn't react, never does.
"I don't even actually know you." A little giggle followed her statement. She has a good point, but that's okay, sweetheart; that can be rectified.
"Mmhm, and what would you like to know about me, little girl?" He watched in amusement as the blush crept onto her cheeks due to the nickname; God, she's fucking cute. The conversation lasted all evening, hours longer than John would usually spend in this shit bar. Slowly, her friends started leaving, going home with strangers, like usual. She thankfully didn't seem to mind all that much, her poor excuse for friends not putting a damper on their conversation.
Months John had been working on this, sweetheart. Talking, smiling, doing his best to stay respectful and friendly, but today was different; it was time. "Alright, we've had 'bout enough, I think. We're going, love."
"Um...together?" she mumbled, a frown followed by a confused eyebrow raise. Sweet thing.
"Yeah, Bird, together. You've had a lot to drink, your friends are nowhere in sight, and I'm not letting you find your way back home alone. You can sleep it off at mine." John began getting up, grabbing his jacket with a small smile, an attempt to make his demand as nonthreatening as possible. To his delight, she didn't argue, didn't even say another word just got up and followed him. One day he'll have to give her a lecture about trusting strangers, but not tonight.
The walk back to his was quiet and peaceful. Just John leading his wife Bird, to his house. She just followed him like the good girl he always knew she was, not a single instinct telling her she was prey caught in a cage.
As soon as he shut the door behind them, he made sure she was comfortable, sitting her on the couch, helping her unbuckle the strap on her shoe. God, even her feet are pretty, and John hates feet. "Good, princess?"
A little nod followed by a sleepy yawn. He couldn't help the way his chest got tighter; she was perfect, adorable. "Yeah? Do you need a shower? Might sober you up a bit," he hummed softly, still squatting in front of where that beautiful creature sat on his couch.
"Uh...yeah, if you don't mind," her sweet voice muttered out. John only laughed a little, placing a hand on her thigh.
"Of course not, love." He led her through the house, into his bedroom, to the bathroom, showed her where all the things you'd need for a shower were kept, showed her where the towels were, and grabbed her a T-shirt and an old pair of sweatpants she would no doubt be absolutely swimming in.
"Just yell if you need anything." He had half a mind to just get in with her, to touch her, to taste her, to watch the way her body moves under the water, but he didn't. He's trying, probably harder than he ever had in his life, to be a gentleman.
She nodded, and he left the room. He was antsy for some reason, sitting in the living room for the duration of her shower, trying to focus on either his cigar or the telly, but he couldn't shake the thought of the sweet, naked woman just one room over.
When she emerged from the bedroom, he realized for the first time that he might actually be getting old, worried for a small moment if he would have a heart attack. Makeup all washed away, hair still wet from the shower, a sleepy expression. "Hi, beautiful." There's no possible way at this point that she doesn't realize he's flirting with her; he's been flirting with her for months.
"Hi," soft, quiet. He watched her little feet hit the carpet, walking towards the couch. He almost let her, but no, no. This was his Bird, in his house, and she was going to find out what happens when you let the older man at the bar take you home.
"C'mere, Bird." It's a demand, though not an unkind one. She stops, turns, and hesitates for a moment before walking over to his recliner. John stubs out his cigar on the ashtray next to his chair and reaches his hands out to grab her, pulling her into his lap.
She gasps a little but overall doesn't seem uncomfortable. He wants her to behave, listen, and be a good girl for him, but he wants her comfortable enough to stick around after he has his way with her. "Bird, do you know what I want from you?" There's certainly no way she didn't, not completely, anyway.
"Um..yes," Her answer sounded more like a question rather than a statement. It was cute and shy.
"You gonna give it to me?" he asked, putting her back farther against his chest, resting his hand on her clothed thigh. He could feel the way her chest rose and fell heavier than normal.
She only nodded. That was all the permission he needed before his hand grabbed her chin, turning it to face him. He let his lips brush hers softly, doing his absolute best to control himself. John wasn't a man who regularly allowed himself things like this; he was too busy, and he had too many important things to think about. But this girl was his reward. She might not know it yet, but she was going to give him lots of things he hadn't let himself have up until this point.
He felt like he was on cloud nine with her lips pressed against his. He didn't waste much time getting her into his bed. She was visibly nervous, but that was nothing he couldn't rectify. He was on top of her, his mouth tasting hers, kissing her like he'd been waiting months to do so, because he had.
"Lift your arms for me," he whispered against her lips. He waited for her to obey, which she did without any protest. John barely pulled his T-shirt over her head before his mouth moved to her nipple, sucking and swirling his tongue around it just so he could hear the soft little noises she made. John likes to take his time when he has a woman in his bed.
He let his teeth graze over her swollen peak just to test the waters, just to see what she'd allow. He felt like he won thelottery when he heard her soft little whimper. "J…John," she whimpered. Oh god, this little thing was in trouble, big trouble.
"Yeah?" he spoke, moving his mouth from one perfect breast to the other. His hands explored her body while he continued to suck on her. If these were the noises she made just from this, he couldn't imagine what he could get her to do while inside of her. His cock twitched against his leg just at the thought.
His mouth didn't leave hers when he slipped his hand down the sweatpants she was wearing, but he did groan when he just felt hair. No underwear. "Don't wear underwear?" he questioned, his breath becoming ragged.
"I…well, I didn't have any," she breathed out. Of course she didn't; his sweetheart didn't have any clothes to change into here. She was wearing his pajamas.
"Mhm, we'll remember that for next time," a subtle, silent promise that there would, in fact, be a next time. He lifted his head from her chest to allow himself to see her, to see what he was touching. He ran his hand across her bush, which he wasn't expecting her to have, but he was absolutely not complaining about.
He watched her, the desperation on her face, as he removed his hand to pull her pants down. "Oh, so pretty," he muttered mostly to himself as he got the pants past her ankles. John pushed her knees apart. He didn't even have to feel her to know how wet she was; it was all over her thighs.
John glanced at her face. She looked both incredibly nervous and excited at the same time. He moved his hand, his thumb running over her sensitive little bud and then down her soaked folds."Fuck, you're so wet."
She whined, a precious sound he could get more than used to. He didn't even have time to think before he was undoing his belt. She watched him as his jeans hit the floor along with his underwear. A gasp. God, that stroked his ego.
"That's not going to fit." She whined. It would fit; he'd make damn sure of that. He pulled her thighs closer to his as he crawled back on top of her, placing himself between her legs.
"Oh, it'll fit; we're going to make it fit." John is usually a very patient man; his job requires a lot of patience, but he's been after this Bird for months. He'd be as gentle as he could, but there's no patience left.
John is a bit of a sadist. He couldn't help but chuckle at the little whimper that left her lips as he dragged the tip of his cock against her slick sex. "You gonna be good for me, love?"
He almost shuddered when her words hit his ears: "Yes, sir." Fuck, he normally has to train his pets to behave like that. All that time he spent pursuing her would have been worth it just to hear that.
"Fuckkk." He growled as he pushed into her. She was so wet but so tight that it almost hurt. His bulbous tip was barely in before she started whining nonsense about it being too much, about him being too big.
"Shhh, princess, take a deep breath, relax, let me in." He rested his hand on her shoulder, a means to calm her. The second he felt her gummy walls relax around him, he jerked his hips, bottoming out inside of her.
"Oh my god," she cried softly as he hit her cervix. John ran a hand up and down her side for a moment, letting her settle, letting her get used to the stretch.
"That's it, oh, good girl." His hips began rocking back and forth at a slow, steady pace as he pushed her knees to her chest. He'd waited months to get in this cunt; he was going to make sure they both enjoyed it.
With every moan or whimper that left her pretty lips, he picked up the pace. An obvious sign she was enjoying it was the green light he needed to really have his way with her.
"I knew you were a little slut. There you go, baby, that's it." Every word he spoke was gritted out, every filthy sentence a mix of praise and degradation. This was his woman, even if she didn't know she belonged to him yet.
With every deep thrust into her, he watched her expression change, watching the way her mouth hung open and her eyes glazed over. She got cock drunk faster than any woman he'd ever been with.
"Look at that, pretty baby. Dumb on my cock already." He taunted her. She was too out of it to respond with anything other than incoherent babbling. It was like a reward for his patience with her.
John rutted into her hard and fast. Normally, he'd touch her clit, but he just wanted her to finish on his cock, just wanted to feel her fall apart from only that. He bullied his way in and out of her until his wish came true, until she was squirming and squeezing him so hard he could hardly move, feeling her body spasm around him.
She was saying something, but he couldn't understand it; just noises, mostly. "Fuck, baby, squeezing me so hard," he groaned out as he continued to fuck her through her orgasm.
John's was not far behind. She was too wet, too warm, and too excited. His pace quickened as he neared his end. It was brutal; she'd most definitely be bruised tomorrow. He probably should have asked if she was on birth control before he let go, but it was just too late for that. His hips slowed as he released hot ropes into her.
He rode it out, feeling himself soften inside of her. "You did so good," he murmured as he laid down, pulling her against him. She just let out a little sleepy whine.
"Guess you have something more fun to do on Saturday nights from now on, huh?"

Hiii, hope you’re doing well! I’ve been obsessed with rewatching The Nanny and there’s this episode where Fran (the mc) reveals she has a tattoo but not the place, which leads to Maxwell (her love interest who she has an absurd amount of tension with) wondering where it is. Fran teases him constantly, and Maxwell checks her out endlessly and spends his time thinking about the tattoo and how hot it is that she has one. Could you write smth like this for poly!marauders? Maybe when theyre friends or at the start of their relationship. Honestly you could pull so many ideas from this series for fanfic. Thank youu so much!
"It's gotta be a tramp stamp." Sirius decides, "There's no other place on her body she'd be trying to hide from us."
"She could show us her back," James scoffs, "I bet it's, like, on her thigh or something. Y'know, right by the- well, she'd have to take off her pants. That's why she won't tell us."
"Maybe it's between her tits." Sirius snickers, "Or right on her left asscheek."
"Why the left and not the right?" Peter asks, "Maybe it goes across both."
"Right. It's James on one side and Potter on the other." James nods, blinding grin in full force, "She just can't admit that to me or she'd be embarrassed."
"Nice try." Remus had refrained from joining the conversation until now, but he leans in to murmur, "Marlene says she's seen it before."
"Where is it?" Sirius's eyes blow wide, surely jealous of the Gryffindor girl, "And what is it?"
"She wouldn't say." Remus admits, "But that means we're probably right. It's somewhere she can't show us."
"It's confirming our hypothesis." James nods, mouth set in a thoughtful expression, "We're using the scientific method."
"You're a genius," Remus snorts, "Anyways, I'll keep asking around."
"I'll ask Lily," James hums, faux-casually, "I think this time she'll-"
"She'll never tell you. I'll ask Lily." Sirius decides, "And you stick to Alex."
James's nose scrunches in displeasure at the thought of having to interrogate your unsavory ex, but their curiosity is eating them alive. They make to get up and fan out to search for more clues, but you come and plop down on the bench beside Peter, your hand already reaching for one of the breakfast platters.
"Morning boys." You hum, and Remus's eyes catch on black ink dotted over the base of your ring finger, "How was practice, James?"
"What's on your finger?" Remus blurts before James can begin rambling, and he realizes that the ring you typically wear is absent.
"Oh." You glance at your hand, shoulders stiffening slightly as you realize your secret is out, "I forgot my ring."
"That's your tattoo?" Sirius exclaims, incredulous and feeling just a little cheated, "Two letters? On your finger? What's scandalous about that?"
"I never said it was scandalous! I just said it was embarrassing." You defend yourself, "And it is."
"What is it?" James asks, and perhaps he's the only one that could have gotten it out of you, with the gentleness permanently present in his voice.
You groan, "It's the initials of a boy I like, okay?"
Sirius's head jerks back, surprised, "Were you together?" Then his eyes narrow further, "Are you together?"
"No! No, we're not together, he's-" You stammer, stuffing a bite of egg into your mouth to delay the inevitable, "He's not even real."
Silence and confused looks greet you, and you sigh, voice dejected, "He's a character from a book. Okay? And I was a little drunk and I thought it'd be a good idea for a stick-and-poke, but it was not as temporary as I thought it'd be."
"He's pretend." Sirius realizes, glee filling out his expression and making him beam, "You've got a fake man's initials on your ring finger!"
"Here comes the bride," James snickers, "Marrying a bloody book."
"Easy boys, let's not tease her." Remus seemingly takes pity on you, nudging his foot against yours beneath the table, "She's gonna be pretty beat up when he doesn't show for the wedding - we shouldn't make things worse."

Heyyyy, I think it would be soo cool if you could write a scenario where cold!reader actually works a case like idk but yk the typical talking w witnesses or family members.
I also would loveee to know what her interrogation style is like, morgen was always pretty aggressive and Hotch was always so straightforward etc. so I would love to know how she interrogates suspects.
Have a nice one, ly and ur work sm !! ^_^
THE REID TECHNIQUE. /spencer reid/
Tumblr media
you volunteer to interview a middle-aged woman suspected of kidnapping a little girl.
cold!reader 4.2k series masterlist. main masterlist.
a/n | had this one in the works for a few weeks after learning about the reid technique in my forensic psych lecture ✊
Tumblr media
The clock above the whiteboard marks every second with an unforgiving tick. It's been twelve hours since the child, eight years old, brown hair in braids, green jacket, was last seen.
You know too well how thin the margins are.
“Local PD has brought in a suspect. Margaret Ellery. Lives four streets over from the family. No hard evidence yet, just circumstantial.” Hotch discards his phone in his pocket.
You push off the table, the movement casual, but inside something sharp and certain slices through the haze. Margaret Ellery. The name means nothing to the others yet, just another possibility. To you, it burns.
“They've got CCTV placing her car near the park at the estimated time of abduction,” Emily says, flicking through images on her tablet. “No witnesses saw the actual snatch, but...” She hesitates. “It’s something,”
“Something," you echo, voice flat.
You can feel Spencer’s gaze flick towards you from his desk. You don’t look at him. If you do, he’ll see it—the thing coiling under your skin, the certainty you can’t explain.
You know it was her.
The others begin discussing who should lead the interview, voices overlapping—Emily suggesting herself, Morgan arguing the woman might respond better to a softer touch—and for a moment, you let them talk.
Then, calmly, you speak.
“I’ll do it.”
The words drop like stones into the room.
The conversation stalls. Morgan frowns, one eyebrow lifting. Hotch studies you, impassive. Spencer’s pencil stills in his hand.
You don’t volunteer for interrogations. Everyone knows it. You only step in when everything else has failed—the nuclear option. The last resort.
You have built your reputation on results, not likability. You dismantle people, piece by piece, until there's nothing left but the truth. It's not pretty. It's not kind. It's necessary.
But this time, without waiting for anyone to fail, you want it.
Hotch’s mouth tightens into a line. He doesn’t like it, but he also knows better than to argue when you make that face—the one you wear now, cold and still, like a weapon waiting to be drawn.
“Are you certain?” he asks.
You nod once. Precise. Final.
“She’s guilty,” you say. Not a question. Not a theory. A statement of fact.
“How do you know?” Emily asks, cautious.
You flick your gaze to her, then away again. You don't explain things like this. You never have. You just know.
Hotch’s brow furrows. “You’re sure?”
You nod once. Crisp. Certain.
“I can get her to talk.”
He hesitates. You don’t blame him. It’s not just that they’re worried about the woman cracking under your methods, it’s that they’re worried you will push too hard, dig too deep, and leave something broken beyond repair—something in her, something in yourself.
But there’s no time for cautious sensibilities. There’s a child missing. The longer they dither, the colder the trail gets.
Hotch considers for a beat longer, then relents with a sharp nod. “On your lead.”
Morgan shifts his weight, clearly cautious. “I’ll second,”
“No.”
Hotch exhales slowly, measuring you with a look that’s half reluctant approval, half silent warning. “You know the protocol.”
You incline your head with a sigh of exasperation. You know it backwards.
“I work better alone,” you say calmly, before he can open his mouth to suggest otherwise.
That’s non-negotiable. You’ve explained it a thousand times—too many cooks spoil the broth. Too many variables ruin the interrogation. One misplaced glance, one ill-timed question, one unspoken judgement radiating off a team member— it can destroy hours of work.
No one interrupts you when you’re working. No one even breathes too loudly.
Hotch nods once. Reluctant but resigned.
“Room Three,” he says. “She’s waiting.”
You turn sharply on your heel, the heels of your boots clicking lightly against the floor, and make your way down the corridor without looking back.
Behind you, the team watches you go in silence.
Spencer’s gaze lingers the longest.
He understands. Not completely—no one ever could—but enough.
Enough to know that once you step into that room, you’ll become something else. Something sharper. Harder. Merciless in your precision.
And God help the woman on the other side of the glass.
—
You pause outside the interrogation room, hand resting lightly on the door handle. Through the one-way glass, you see her: hunched, fidgeting, a picture of nervous innocence.
She’s shorter than you expected. Plumper. Her hands twist nervously at the hem of her cardigan.
She looks like someone’s kindly aunt. To the untrained eye, she might seem harmless. Sad, even.
You don’t let it fool you.
You close your eyes for a moment. Centre yourself.
This is not about rage. Rage clouds the senses. This is about control. Subtlety. Precision.
When you open your eyes again, you’re a blank slate.
The woman jumps slightly at your entrance. Good. She’s on edge already. You file the information away for later use.
You close the door with a soft click and cross to the chair opposite her, sitting down with a deliberate, unhurried grace. You say nothing for a long moment, simply studying her, letting the silence stretch taut between you.
She fidgets again, clearing her throat. Her eyes flicker up to meet yours and then away, unable to hold your gaze.
You watch her, utterly still.
Already, you can see the cracks beginning to form.
You offer a thin, perfunctory smile.
“Good afternoon,” you introduce yourself, voice low and even. “I’m going to ask you a few questions, alright?”
She licks her lips nervously. “I already told the others— I didn’t do anything,”
You tilt your head slightly. Not a challenge, not an agreement. Just an acknowledgement.
“Of course,” you say smoothly. “We’ll go over everything again. Just to be thorough.”
You slide a thin manilla file onto the table between you. The movement is calm, almost lazy.
In reality, every microexpression, every twitch of her fingers, every catch in her breath — you’re cataloguing all of it.
You see guilt. Not the guilt of a wrongfully accused woman, but the heavy, aching guilt of someone who knows precisely what they’ve done and is terrified of the consequences.
You suppress the flicker of satisfaction that rises in your chest.
This will be easier than you thought.
You fold your hands neatly on the table.
“Let’s begin.”
You watch her closely, noting the way her shoulders stiffen under your gaze. She’s nervous.
“I’d first like to briefly remind you that you don’t have to answer any question that you’re uncomfortable with, and you have the right to an attorney if you require one,” You keep your tone measured, almost conversational, as you begin. “This interview is being recorded, and can be submitted as evidence if needed in court,”
Margret’s response is nothing more than a brief nod, and you quickly move on.
“We’ve spoken to several people who know you, Margaret,” you say, glancing briefly at the file in front of you for show, though you don’t need to. You know the contents backwards already. “Your neighbours speak highly of you. Friendly. Involved. Always ready to lend a hand.”
She swallows, nodding a little. As if being agreeable will somehow absolve her.
You continue, letting the words come slowly, giving them weight.
“You knew the Hartleys quite well?”
She shifts uncomfortably in her seat, hands twisting harder in the hem of her cardigan. “We… we live near each other, yes. I used to babysit for them sometimes, when Claire was first back at work,”
You incline your head, as if pleased by the admission. You knew that information already of course, but the fact that she’s supplying the truth to you early is a good sign.
“And you’ve stayed in touch since then?”
Her mouth twists slightly. “Not really. They… they got busy. New friends. Things change,”
You let the silence settle for a beat, as if considering that. Then you lean forward, just slightly, enough that the space between you shrinks.
“The thing is,” you say, voice still calm, almost gentle, “we have several witnesses who say they saw your car near Westwood Park yesterday afternoon.”
You watch her stiffen, the flicker of fear crossing her face before she can mask it. You press on, smooth and relentless.
“That’s the park where Elsie Hartley was last seen.”
Her mouth opens, then closes again. She shakes her head, a tight, jerky movement.
“I must have been passing through. I had errands— the shops—”
You raise an eyebrow, unimpressed. “At four-thirty in the afternoon?”
She falters. You don’t need to press the point yet. Just plant the seed. Let it fester.
You sit back again, steepling your fingers lightly.
“We’re not here to attack you, Margaret,” you say, voice dropping slightly. Softer. Sympathetic. “We just want to understand what happened.”
Her eyes dart to the door briefly. You catch the movement, file it away. Already thinking of escape.
You won’t allow it.
“Things happen to people,” you continue, letting your voice thicken just slightly with understanding. “Painful things. Things that change how we see the world.”
You see the way she flinches, barely perceptible. A tiny tell, but enough.
Good. She’s listening now. Feeling now.
“Tell me about your daughter,” you say quietly.
Her face crumples before she can stop it, a raw flash of grief, there and gone.
She tries to cover it up, sitting up straighter, forcing a small, brittle smile.
“She… passed away. A long time ago.”
You nod slowly. “Nine years.”
Her hands clench into fists in her lap.
You lean in again, lowering your voice further.
“Grief can… distort things,” you murmur. “It can make you see injustice where there is none. It can make you desperate to fix something, to make up for what you lost.”
Her breathing has quickened. You see the pulse hammering at her throat.
“Sometimes,” you continue, “it makes people do things they never thought themselves capable of. Good people. Kind people. People who were simply… overwhelmed by sadness.”
She’s trembling now. Just slightly. You act as though you don’t notice.
“You saw Elsie playing in the park,” you say softly. “Maybe you thought her parents didn’t appreciate her enough. Maybe you thought you could give her the love your own daughter never got to fully experience.”
Tears are brimming in her eyes now, but she’s fighting them. Fighting herself.
She shakes her head weakly. “I didn’t— I wouldn’t—”
You don’t argue. You don’t contradict her.
You simply sit back, offering a small, understanding nod.
“Of course you didn’t mean for things to get so complicated. You just wanted to make things right.”
The denial is there, trembling on her lips, but you ignore it.
You pivot neatly, seamlessly, back to the facts.
“You said you were running errands,” you say, as if returning to a mundane detail. “Tell me about that. Which shops?”
She stares at you, panic flickering behind her eyes. She wasn't ready for the shift. That’s the point.
“I— I went to 7-Eleven. And then… the pharmacy. I had a prescription,”
You scribble something meaningless onto your pad, nodding slowly.
“The pharmacy?” you echo. “Do you have the receipt?”
She freezes.
“No,” she says after a moment. “I must have thrown it away,”
You don’t react. You just jot down another line.
“Which 7-Eleven?” you ask, tone still mild.
She blinks. “The one on Briar Lane,”
You hum thoughtfully, making another note. She’s lying. You know it. And she knows you know it.
You give her another moment to stew in her own fear before steering the conversation back.
“Funny thing, Margaret,” you say, lightly conversational, “we pulled CCTV from Briar Lane yesterday. The store, the pharmacy, the petrol station.”
You look up, meeting her eyes directly for the first time since you sat down.
“You’re not on any of it.”
The colour drains from her face.
You don’t press. Not yet. Let her feel the walls closing in. Let her suffocate on the inevitability of it.
She shifts in her seat, wringing her hands.
“I must have got the times wrong,” she mutters weakly.
“Of course,” you say smoothly. “It’s easy to get confused. Especially when you’re upset.”
She clings to the lifeline you’ve thrown her, nodding desperately.
“Yes. Yes, I was… distracted,”
You offer her a small, almost pitying smile.
“I understand, Margaret. Truly. No one’s here to judge you.”
Another beat of silence. You watch her, patient and unblinking.
“I can see how hard this is for you,” you say after a moment, voice softening again. “Reliving yesterday. Remembering what happened.”
Her mouth trembles. She presses her lips together tightly, like a child trying not to cry.
“I didn’t… I didn’t take her,” she says, almost whispering.
You nod thoughtfully, as if weighing her words.
“Of course,” you say again. Calm. Unthreatening.
Then, without warning, you steer the conversation right back to the beginning.
“Tell me again what you were doing between three and five yesterday afternoon.”
Her face crumples. She wasn’t ready for the cycle to start again.
But you are tireless. Patient. Merciless.
That’s the thing about interrogations — it’s not the dramatic threats or slammed fists on the table that break people. It’s the relentlessness. The subtle erosion of certainty, the slow dismantling of lies.
She tries again.
“I was at home, actually. I remembered— after the pharmacy I went home. I didn’t feel well.”
“Hmm,” you hum noncommittally. “Your neighbour said they saw your car leave around two, and you didn’t return until gone six.”
You tilt your head, watching her carefully.
“They must be mistaken,” she says quickly, too quickly.
You don’t argue. You just let the inconsistency hang there between you, a slow, toxic drip of doubt.
The denials come more frequently now, growing more desperate with each cycle.
“I wasn’t near the park.”
“I don’t even know where she disappeared from.”
“I just… I was having a bad day.”
You let each one slide past you without reaction, without resistance.
Each time she throws out a denial, you seamlessly redirect — not forcefully, not aggressively, but subtly, like water flowing around a stone.
Back to the CCTV.
Back to the witnesses.
Back to her tangled, faltering story.
You give her a moment to stew in her latest denial. Watch the way she clutches at the hem of her cardigan like it’s a lifeline. Her breathing is shallow now, you can almost hear it hitching every few seconds.
She’s trying to believe her own lies. Trying to build walls faster than you can knock them down.
You lean back slightly in your chair, as if relaxing, as if you have all the time in the world. Then you let your voice slip into a more analytical register.
“Let’s review what we know,” you say, tapping your pen lightly against the table.
The soft sound makes her flinch. Good.
“Your neighbour saw your car leave at two o’clock sharp. CCTV from Briar Lane shows you were not at the pharmacy or the store, as you claimed. In fact—” you pause, leafing slowly through the papers on your clipboard, letting the moment stretch, “—your car was picked up again. Not in Briar Lane. But parked a block from Westwood Park.”
You place a printed image on the table between you: the grainy still of a pale blue Volvo estate. Her car. The timestamp in the corner reads 4:14 p.m.
Margaret pales visibly, staring at it.
“That’s not me,” she whispers, voice breaking.
You arch a brow, slow and sceptical.
“Registration plates don’t lie.”
She opens her mouth. Closes it. Her eyes are wild now, darting across the table, as if searching for some unseen escape hatch.
You press the advantage mercilessly, but with a surgeon’s precision.
“You told us you were at home,” you say calmly. “Yet your vehicle was a block away from the site of a child’s abduction.”
You let the words hang heavily in the air. They don’t need dressing up. They’re lethal enough.
“I just— I just parked for a bit. I wasn’t feeling well—”
You shake your head, slow and deliberate.
“No pharmacy visit. No store. No proof of you being anywhere else.”
You place another sheet on the table, another CCTV still, this time capturing her figure, blurred but unmistakeable, moving across the park entrance at 4:20 p.m.
“Witnesses place you in the vicinity. Cameras place you there. Your alibi doesn’t hold.”
Her lips tremble. You can see the walls crumbling now, piece by piece.
You don’t drive the knife in yet.
Instead, you shift your posture — lean forward, just slightly, closing the space between you by mere inches.
Subtle, calculated.
Not enough to threaten. Just enough to pull her attention inward, to focus it entirely on you.
You keep your gaze steady, non-threatening but utterly unwavering.
Your body language speaks louder than your words. I am your only way out of this.
Margaret's eyes flicker between your face and the photographs, her breath hitching audibly now.
You watch as the fight starts to bleed out of her.
Still, you’re careful. She’s fragile now. One wrong move and she’ll retreat into full panic, barricade herself behind the last reserves of her denial.
You soften your expression by degrees. Let the razor edge dull into something gentler. More… understanding.
Margaret sniffs loudly, wiping at her eyes with trembling fingers. Her composure is breaking apart under the sheer, relentless weight of the truth pressing down on her.
“I just—” she chokes. “I didn’t— I didn’t plan anything—”
You allow a small, almost imperceptible nod. Not agreement. Just… acceptance.
You lower your voice, pitch it softer.
“I know, Margaret,” you say quietly. “I believe you. You were overwhelmed. You weren’t thinking straight. You saw a little girl alone, vulnerable—”
“She was sitting by herself!” Margaret blurts suddenly, anguished. “Just swinging on those stupid swings— and no one— no one was watching—!”
The confession hangs there, raw and shaking.
You don’t react. Don’t let the triumph show. You simply soften further, offering a small, almost maternal tilt of your head.
“You wanted to keep her safe,” you murmur. “Like any mother would.”
Margaret’s face crumples. Tears spill over at last, fat and helpless.
You fold your hands neatly on the table. Stay calm. Stay steady. Be the lighthouse in her storm.
—
“She’s using phased psychological reinforcement,” Spencer says quietly, almost in awe. Like you’ve never quite been so alluring.
Emily glances at him. “In English, please?”
Spencer shifts slightly, tapping his fingers against the glass in a subtle rhythm.
“She’s employing the Reid Technique,” he explains. “It has nine stages that are worked through in order to achieve a state of psychological comfort that elicits more honesty from the suspect,”
“The Reid technique?” Emily raised an eyebrow.
“It’s uh, named after John Reid, he was a police officer in Chicago during the 1950s. It revolutionised formal interviewing, although it’s actually very difficult to implement in practice, because if the suspect catches on then they’re likely to shut down,”
He nods towards you, still composed, still relentless inside the room.
“She’s between stage four and stage five right now— Addressing why the suspect hasn’t confessed, and using mirroring tactics to keep the suspect engaged,”
Morgan hums low under his breath, arms crossed tightly over his chest. “Sounds scientific,” he goads.
—
Margaret hiccups through her tears, twisting the sleeves of her cardigan into knots.
“I didn’t—” she whispers again.
You make no move to comfort her. You don’t offer tissues. You don't even shift your posture.
You simply remain present. Solid. Reassuring by your very stillness. In her shattered mind, you are the only constant left. Exactly where you want her.
You let the silence stretch just long enough for Margaret to drown in it, her sobs the only sound filling the sterile room.
Then, softly, so gently it’s almost a caress, you push the conversation where it needs to go.
“Margaret,” you say, voice low but firm, threading compassion through every syllable, “I’m not here to judge you.”
She drags her tear-reddened eyes up to meet yours, desperate and wide.
You offer the smallest of smiles. Not kind. Not cruel. Just human.
“You loved your daughter, right?”
Her face crumples. She gives a broken little nod, a whimper catching in her throat.
You lower your voice even further, until it's barely above a whisper. “And now there's this... ache. This emptiness. It’s unbearable, isn’t it?”
She presses her sleeve to her mouth, trying to smother another sob.
You let the moment hang there, let her sit in the shared understanding you’ve carefully, ruthlessly constructed.
“Were you trying to cause trouble, Margaret?” you ask, tilting your head ever so slightly, as if puzzled. “Or were you simply trying to give that little girl the love you never got to finish giving your daughter?”
It’s everything.
It’s everything she’s been trying to make sense of for the last twelve hours.
And you’ve handed it to her, neatly gift-wrapped, an explanation she can live with.
Her face crumples entirely.
“I didn’t mean to hurt anyone,” she wails, folding in on herself. “I just— I just saw her— all alone— they weren’t even watching her! She was just sitting there, swinging by herself, and I thought—”
She breaks off, hiccupping on a sob.
You remain silent, giving her the space to pour it out.
“I thought— she deserves better. Someone who’d see her. Someone who’d love her properly. I could— I could do that. I could give her what she needed.”
Tears stream down her face now, unchecked.
“She’s happy with me,” Margaret insists desperately, as if trying to convince herself as much as you. “She’s smiling. She’s laughing. I’ve never— I’ve never seen her laugh like that. Not once when she was with them.”
You allow yourself a single, careful breath.
But you’re not finished yet.
You shift your tone again, turning almost maternal, gentle and firm.
“Margaret,” you say, leaning in just a fraction, letting her feel the sincerity. “I believe you care for her. I do.”
It’s not a lie. Margaret does care. In her own warped, desperate way. “But she’s scared. She misses her family. She needs to come home.”
Margaret sobs harder, hands shaking so badly she nearly knocks the water cup off the table.
“Help me bring her home safely, Margaret. Please.”
For a long, fragile moment, she just cries.
And then, brokenly, she nods.
“She’s—” she mumbles through the tears. “12A, Eversham Court… I made up the spare room for her, I got her toys and clothes—”
She’s rambling now, stumbling over herself to spill every detail she can think of.
You don’t interrupt.
Outside the room, you know Hotch will already be sending officers to the location, moving fast but discreetly.
Time still matters. Every second counts.
Everything has been recorded. Every word, every sob, every admission captured, preserved, incontrovertible.
You stand slowly, gathering the papers with smooth efficiency.
As you move towards the door, Margaret’s voice breaks behind you, small and shuddering.
“I didn’t mean to hurt her,” she says again, voice thick with tears. “Tell them that. Please. Tell them I just wanted to love her—”
You pause, hand on the doorframe, and glance back over your shoulder.
Your face gives away nothing.
“I’ll tell them,” you say simply.
It’s not a promise. Not really. But it’s enough.
The door opens with a quiet click. Uniformed officers step inside, moving with trained efficiency.
Margaret doesn’t fight. She’s too broken to resist. She sobs helplessly as they read her her rights, the words barely cutting through her cries of apology. “I’m sorry,” she gasps as they cuff her. “I’m so sorry—”
You watch silently for a moment as they lead her away.
She’s still crying. Still apologising to no one in particular.
You feel no satisfaction. No triumph. Just the faint, hollow weight of inevitability.
You step back into the corridor, letting the door swing shut behind you.
The others are waiting. Hotch nods once at you, brisk and approving. Emily looks grim but relieved. Morgan mutters something under his breath that sounds like "damn," but you don’t linger on it.
Your gaze flicks automatically to Spencer.
He’s watching you the way he always does after you work. Not with fear, not with pity, but with something quieter. Something sharper.
Admiration. And something almost akin to academic attraction.
“Seven minutes, twenty two seconds,”
You don’t smile. You don’t say a word. You simply walk past him, your boots clicking steadily down the hall.
New record.

Trying my hand at this one:
Shen Yuan transmigrates into a worm.
It's just a normal garden variety (heh) earthworm, not a special magical worm (yet), so initially he thinks this is gonna be a really short transmigration adventure indeed. But of course that would be boring, so he also manages to end up in the body of a worm who lives under one of those magical immortal fruit-bearing trees.
One of the fruit drops, Worm Yuan chows down, and he significantly upgrades his physical abilities, and senses, and gains a cultivation boost! Hooray!
Unfortunately it's not enough to fix that he's still a worm, but it's enough so that he has less to fear from getting hit by a random shovel or such. In the process of eating the fruit, he sees some disciples (come to gather the fruits, slacking somewhat since they even allowed a few to hit the dirt) and overhears enough of a conversation to figure out that he's transmigrated into a worm that lives in the PIDW setting. Specifically, on Qian Cao Peak!
Wow! How random and wild! Why a worm??? What god did he piss off in his past life for this?
Well anyway, it is what it is, and Shen Yuan decides that if he's gonna live a probably short and uneventful life as a worm, at least he wants to see his favorite character. So he inches his way in what he hopes is the general direction of Qing Jing Peak, course-correcting whenever he gathers that he's guessed wrong, hitching a ride on the occasional shoe or once even gripping the internal part of a wheel from an An Ding Peak carriage, until finally, he's leveled up his meager worm cultivation even more and has reached Qing Jing Peak!
As Worm Yuan continues to inch his way across the peak, he keeps just-barely missing Luo Binghe, until finally he comes across... not Binghe, but a recognizable item: a fake jade pendant!
Though lost initially on a tree branch, it must have fallen at some point, down to the ground where Worm Yuan stumbled upon it.
Mustering his strength, Worm Yuan manages to get the broken string of the fake jade around his little worm body, and then makes the herculean trek to the wood shed. Dodging bird attacks, hiding from other QJP disciples, and further upgrading his Worm Skills such as digging, inching, and oozing, until finally he reaches his destination and squeezes under the door.
Leading to the situation of an incredulous disciple Luo Binghe -- who had previously been tending to his bruises -- watching as a little worm climbs into the shed (normal, usually it's spiders but sometimes other bugs get inside) while dragging his long-lost most treasured item in what can only be described as a deliberate fashion (very not normal).
After ascertaining that Worm Yuan is not some cultivator's tool or shapeshifted creature, Luo Binghe decides to approach this situation in the only reasonable way, and offers the worm some scraps from his leftovers. Worm Yuan happily shares a meal with his favorite character, and things take off from there.
Somehow Luo Binghe finds himself learning more about cultivation by watching Worm Yuan than he has in all his attempts to figure out his manual or listen to his shixiongs on Qing Jing Peak so far. He watches Worm Yuan work up the spiritual energy to crack rocks and scale the wood shed walls, and deduces some methods for applying his own spiritual energy in similar ways. He finds it heartening to think that if even a little worm can learn to cultivate through what seems to be pure determination, then surely Binghe can make his situation work, too. He scrounges around and manages to gather up enough materials for a makeshift terrarium, so Worm Yuan can be safe and cozy by his side at night.
Of course, trials and tribulations never stop. At some point Ming Fan and his cronies find the terrarium and smash it. Binghe is inconsolable until he realizes that Worm Yuan got away (extra durable, after all!) and is wriggling back towards him in a reassuring fashion.
Worm Yuan's hero schedule is quite full, too! At some point he digs his way into a tunnel to the Lingxi caves and saves Liu Qingge, and in the midst of the demon invasion he manages to help Binghe at a vital moment by hardening his body and tripping his opponent. He rides in Binghe's pocket when Binghe goes to claim Zheng Yang, too, developing his cultivation throughout it all.
Unfortunately, kind of, Worm Yuan is also in Luo Binghe's pocket when he gets thrown into the Endless Abyss. Through the hardships of the Abyss, Worm Yuan consumes some unsavory things (the less said about the quality of worm food in the Abyss, the better) but manages to unlock rare worm cultivation upgrades, until finally he achieves his first transformation -- a gigantic Dune-esque mega worm!
The less said about the symbolism of a stallion protagonist accompanied constantly by a literal monster worm, the better, probably. But having the ability to tunnel through basically anything does make a lot of things easier, at least in terms of travel, and cuts years off of the Abyss trip. Binghe and Worm Yuan almost have fun, even, just tearing through the terrain and any foes stupid enough to get in Worm Yuan's path until they retrieve Xin Mo and bust out.
Then they get into the demon realms and that actually is just straight up mostly a good time. Worms like Shen Yuan are not common so at first he nearly always surprises Binghe's foes when he shows up to help with fights, and a lot of the time the demons involved don't even seem to realize, at first, that he's with Luo Binghe and isn't just some hellish calamity that's coincidentally also shown up! But word gets around pretty quick that the new Heavenly Demon on the scene has a giant worm companion (probably leading to some misconceptions of people who think it's Tianlang Jun returned and that someone's mistaken Zhuzhi Lang's snake form for a worm).
Once that happens, unfortunately, some demons start taking precautions. After the first time Worm Yuan gets poisoned and nearly perishes (saved by Binghe's blood in the nick of time), Luo Binghe stops letting him participate in fights. Which is just rude! Worm Yuan's not going to make the same mistake twice, duh! But Binghe just keeps holding him in reserve again and again until the fight with Mobei Jun, and then when Worm Yuan intervenes anyway (is it just him or does Mobei Jun seem to know a lot more about potential heavenly demon weaknesses than he did in PIDW...?) and gets partly frozen, Binghe goes berserk. For a while there Shen Yuan is worried he won't actually LET Mobei Jun surrender!
Thankfully though he does, and then Binghe settles into his properties and starts... building a giant-scale worm garden? What about the harem, Binghe? Like obviously it's nice and all, but shouldn't you be focused on housing for, y'know, your future wives?
Other factions in the demon realms clearly are wondering about the same thing, as the marriage alliance offers naturally start pouring in. The most vocal of these being Sha Hualing. Worm Yuan supposed that his Binghe is probably waiting to officially take his wives so that he can marry Ning Yingying first or something, but still, a little planning wouldn't go amiss. Though eventually Luo Binghe seems to get -- if anything -- fed up enough with the questions about his marriage prospects that he does start setting up for a wedding.
Worm Yuan is surprised and touched when he finds himself being fitted for a monster-worm sized amount of wedding regalia. So he can be included in Binghe's wedding procession? That's so sweet! He's not sure he understands the inclusion of a veil, though...?
Anyway. Yes. Binghe marries the worm.

Did you know that your Mars sign can tell you how you respond to someone you’re attracted to? It can essentially build a picture of how you interact with people you’re drawn to. Let’s dive into it.
Fire Mars
When Fire Mars is attracted to you, they have to tell you. They cannot hold back; they need to either give you a compliment or ask you out directly. These people need to know what you’re doing and whether you’re single. They come on strong. When they find you attractive, they want to seize the moment. They do not like waiting and are incredibly impatient, so they’re quick to dive in, ask you questions, ask you out on a date, and even take things to the bedroom quickly. These people don’t play. They can’t hold back once they feel attraction. Fire Mars is definitely not the type to follow the “60-day rule”—they need it now. When they find you attractive, they are touchy-feely, often without even realizing it. This comes naturally to them. Because of this, Fire Mars is often ready to jump into the bedroom quickly, even without a strong emotional connection. They might even ask you to be in a relationship with them very fast, as they don’t understand how to slow things down. Fire Mars is hot and ready, and you can’t turn them down easily. Even if you reject them, their persistence is strong, and they know how to charm you into saying yes. They might even play a role just to get you to agree. This is Fire Mars.
Earth Mars
When Earth Mars is attracted to you, they are slow and methodical. They spend a lot of time in their head, constantly thinking about what they want to do and how they want to approach you. They need to know exactly what they like about you before they even feel attracted. Earth Mars can’t simply like you; they need to identify the specific traits they like, whether it’s your hands, your height, or your muscles. They take a long time to make a move, being very slow, steady, and careful. They will vet you out, observing and evaluating you, sometimes making a mental list of pros and cons. They might even decide that you don’t fit into their life, which is why some Earth Mars individuals may only pursue a physical connection without a deeper commitment. They are notorious for acting like they’re courting you when, in reality, they’re just interested in a hookup. Once they get what they want, they retreat back into their heads, often not making any further moves. Earth Mars can take a long time to make the first move, and if they do act quickly, it may be due to influences from other fiery placements in their chart.
Air Mars
When Air Mars likes you, they often don’t know where things are going. They like to live in the moment, pacing things out and seeing where it leads. A simple conversation can be enough to spark attraction. Mental connection is everything to them, and if you can intrigue them mentally, they’re hooked. They are picky about who they talk to, as they need mental stimulation to feel attracted. Air Mars is interested in people who can keep up with their conversations, but they can also be unsure about commitment. They get intrigued and curious about you, and that’s what draws them in. When Air Mars comes up to talk to you, it doesn’t always mean they’re in love with you—they’re often just being charming or flirtatious. However, if they really like you, they’ll likely try to connect with you more intimately, and they’re very persuasive in this area. They don’t care much for rules and will often throw them aside to get what they want. Air Mars is good at charming people into the bedroom and will happily explore new and exciting things there. Their ability to mentally stimulate you and push boundaries can make them very captivating in intimate settings.
Water Mars
Water Mars can be a bit mysterious. When they’re attracted to you, they tend to act in subtle and sometimes contradictory ways. They can be bold one moment, then retreat into subtlety the next. You might not know where you stand with them because they’re often hard to read. Water Mars likes to be in your orbit—they enjoy being around you, observing you, and interacting with you at random times. They may not always openly express their feelings but will drop hints and wait for you to pick up on them. They prefer to be chased, and although they’re attracted to you, they often want you to make the first move. Their boldness only comes out when they’ve had enough of the games or when they really want to move things to the bedroom. Water Mars is often shy or timid when it comes to showing their attraction in person, but online or over text, they might be more open. They are receptive in nature and prefer others to pursue them. Water Mars enjoys being pursued and doesn’t always take the initiative, even when they’re interested. They like to feel comfortable around you before expressing their feelings, and they often want others to take the lead in the relationship.

Edit on 5/2/2025: I have mixed feelings about aspects of this essay these days but have chosen to keep it up and pinned as I'm still happy with my analysis even if I'm furious at NG, who is mentioned several times. TW for that. Argh.
-------------
The thing about romance is, it makes a good story.
As soon as NG described season 2 as "quiet, gentle, romantic" I figured we'd be in for it, because as he's the first to point out, writers are liars. And the best way to deceive is with truth.
Season 2 is romantic. The trappings of romance are everywhere. Crowley tries to set up Nina and Maggie by trapping them under an awning during a rainstorm, a classic cinematic bonding technique. Aziraphale's chosen method comes from his beloved books: the ball, the dancing, appearing as a pair in public, hands held as you twirl gracefully with your heart thrilled and racing. If they can set up a sensational kiss that will unlock the happy ever after. They've lived on earth, they've studied the tropes, they know how romance works.
The problem is a story is only a story.
Nina and Maggie had the classic romantic setup completely by accident before Aziraphale and Crowley ever began trying to interfere with them. They get locked in Nina's coffeeshop. They can't escape or communicate with anyone else, they end up talking by candlelight because there's no electricity, Nina offers wine. Maggie mentions how she'd hoped for a chance to talk to Nina, and now here they are. It's every bit as much a standard as what Aziraphale and Crowley attempt to arrange. Blanket scenarios galore exist because of that starting point. We love that story. And there's nothing wrong with that.
But it's still only a story, it's not enough. Because once that moment of connection is over, however lovely it was, all the rest of the world comes flooding back in in the form of dozens of angry text messages. Nina's messy entrapping relationship hasn't magically gone away just because she and Maggie shared a romantic encounter.
And it's so tempting think oh well, that's easy. We'll just give them more romantic encounters and eventually those will overwhelm the rest of the baggage. Must do, because it'll make them fall in love, and once they realize they're in love that trumps all other considerations, right? So it'll be fine. Love Conquers All.
Neil also mentioned Pride and Prejudice.
Darcy knows he's in love early on and makes a disasterous proposal that shows that he has no understanding of Elizabeth's perspective, possibly hasn't even thought about it. They've been meeting in forest lanes for walks, conversing, had tete-a-tetes in the sitting room, danced at a ball. And while his turn of phrase isn't as flattering as he thinks, he's still offering her everything he thinks she wants and needs: affection, security, his good name, wealth, an escape from the embarrassments of her situation, the world. How can there be anything to object to? Why would anyone ever refuse so much of value?
Elizabeth quite rightly cuts him to pieces. He lashes back with a few hard truths of his own and they separate. During that separation, he thinks and he learns. He takes to heart the criticisms she offered, re-examines his assumptions, opens his eyes. Thinks about her perspective and how sometimes the only difference between pride and arrogance is where you're standing. He does the work. When they meet again he tries to demonstrate that he's learned--not in order to court her again (yet), but because the only real apology he can offer, the only one that would have weight, is to show that he's grown, he listened to her. He changed.
Elizabeth of course has her own journey, accepting that many of her own conclusions about Darcy were erroneous because they were formed without her having the full picture to hand, and once she's done that she has to apply it to her own situation as well. She loves her family, but they do place her at a disadvantage on a number of levels, leading eventually to full-out disaster as her younger sister carelessly ruins all of their reputations. It's hard to admit, it's mortifying, but Darcy was offering her a great deal she needs. His offer did have worth for all that she dismissed it as an insult. And as she learns to value his own character more highly, and then as she sees that he did listen to her even though she insulted him so thoroughly...well, she grows too. And when they do eventually come together it's not because of courting and balls. There's a big romantic gesture in his rescue of her sister but even that isn't why they'll get their happy ever after. It was just the catalyst for the conversation. They win because they've learned how to understand each other and how to communicate for the future. How they can strengthen and support each other, how to balance their strengths and weaknesses. The films leave them at the wedding, but the book shows a bit of their marriage too, and during it they keep learning from each other. Their relationship is held up as a superior love story for good reasons.
The end of season one was romantic too. Crowley stopped time rather than face a world where Aziraphale would never speak to him again, Aziraphale walked into hell to protect Crowley, they dined at the Ritz and toasted the world. But then they stopped. Sure they spent time together, talked, enjoyed each other's company. But if they were talking about important things would Crowley still be living in his car? They had a bit of respite but all that real world baggage that exists outside of the romantic moment hasn't been faced, none of it. Four or five years sounds like a long while but for beings who are quite literally older than the earth? That's just an intermission.
Nina's relationship ends, leaving her with a tangled mess; Maggie realises the sweet dream of love she's been longing for isn't as important as the real Nina. They talk. They plan. Nina will sort through her life, get closure, figure out what went wrong with Lindsay and what she wants from a relationship, learn how to ask for respect instead of just bending under her partner's demands. Maggie will support Nina the way Nina needs, which sometimes means helping her get oat milk for the shop and sometimes means giving her processing space. They're on the same page; they're going to do the work. That's why most likely they'll succeed. To quote one of my favourite fanfics: it's not happily ever after, but it's a chance. It's all going to be okay. (The Profane Comedy by Mussimm, who absolutely nailed this theme)
The romance is nice, it's lovely. We need it to keep ourselves going. To give ourselves the dreams that help us get through the days and nights. But it's not the relationship. It's not enough on its own. The wedding can be the grandest most beautiful ceremony ever with doves flying and sweeping music and bells ringing, but that doesn't guarantee the marriage will last.
Crowley and Aziraphale have had their romantic gestures, oodles of them. One wing raised to protect the other from falling stars, another from rain. Shared ground, shared interests, hands offered in friendship and held on a bus. They've tried to get to the same page, they really have. They just aren't there yet. The biggest most important things still haven't been talked about, and season 2 showed there are even more of those big important things than we'd realised.
The show paints Maggie as Aziraphale's foil and Nina as Crowley's, even to the point of Nina casually calling Maggie 'angel'. But Aziraphale's baggage is Nina's. The toxic relationship has to be processed and understood and closed, and it hasn't been, despite season one. Lindsay never really liked Nina very much, for all that they tried to keep her trapped; Heaven never really liked Aziraphale very much for all that he believed in it. They both let themselves be used. But Lindsay left Nina and went to their sister's, whereas now the head of Heaven has reached out to Aziraphale and said here, we can fix this, you can fix this, don't you want to fix this? Others are already writing about that and maybe I'll add to it later, not sure. And Crowley, like Maggie, has had a sweet dream that he has to set aside. Maybe he'll be able to pick it up again eventually, maybe not. But sometimes you offer support by buying oat milk or rescuing your beloved from the legions of hell, and sometimes you do it by standing back while they sort through their shit.
Quiet, gentle, romantic. It was.
But that's only part of the story. Now they have to do the work. They thought they had, but they were wrong, because there's so much they just hadn't touched yet and tried to cover over with relief and sleight of hand and alcohol and forgiveness. The apology dance doesn't mean much without showing that you listened and learned. They've faced so much trauma already and that should have been enough, we wanted it to be enough and so did they and it's such a blow for it to turn out that there's still more to do, that the baggage hasn't just gone away and can't be hidden under blankets or soothed with cocoa. The texts are still coming in and demanding answers.
But it'll be okay. It will. It's still a chance. And one that in the long run makes them better, builds something real that lasts.
The best stories, the ones that last longest and become classics, are the ones that don't end with the kiss under the awning or the blanket scenario or the wedding. They're the ones that heal us while the characters heal themselves. It's hard to accept that there's still more to do. Harder to imagine how it can possibly work out. And yes, bloody frustrating to wait and see.
And we'll get through that interim by telling even more stories. Because the story is never just a story. It's how we get through the work, it's what we tell ourselves so we can do the damn work. Stories are what we cling to and how we remind ourselves we're human and connect. A book is a person you can carry with you. We're not alone, none of us, stories connect us because we love them and see ourselves in them, which means we see each other.
Aziraphale's back up in Heaven to deal with his unfinished baggage; Crowley left his behind long ago and it's clearly going to come back and bite him in the arse however much he tries to go his own way. And they can't help each other with that. Not yet.
But they'll get there. So will we.

"Feelings" || Requested Oneshot
XO, Kitty - Min Ho Moon x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
Note from Nat: "I received this oneshot request from @plutoOooO! And this is also how I'm announcing that requests are finally open again! *fireworks and confetti* Enjoy loves <3"
Warning(s): Cussing, Smut, Overstimulation,
Kitty plays Matchmaker once again while everyone's preparing for Chuseok at KISS. This leads to both yours's and Min Ho's untold feelings to step into the spotlight once and for all. Feelings quite stronger than just a crush
"I've brought the shopping!" you called out as you stepped into the boys' dorm room. "Q? Kitty?" you say, kicking off your sneakers and heading into the kitchen.
"Hey Y/n!" Kitty greeted after stepping out of her bedroom. "Thanks so much for wanting to help with Chuseok." she smiled as she gave you a hug.
"Of course! I had no idea that so many of us were staying in town for the holiday," you replied, pulling away from the hug. "So, what exactly are we making? Because all I did was follow the list," you said with a little laugh.
"It isn't exactly me and you cooking but rather you and Min Ho," Kitty explained with a knowing grin, which made you heartbeat quicken.
"Me and-"
"-Yep," she nodded, "You guys will be able to spend proper one on one time, totally undisturbed,".
Your lips formed a thin line as you turned to the kitchen sink, “I think I’m going to be sick,” you coughed.
“You’ll be fine, and plus-this is the perfect time to clear the air,” Kitty reminded, patting your back gently.
You and Min Ho had been friends for years. And for half that time, you’ve had feelings for the playboy. And what came with being a playboy? Countless girls, random or never seen again after a few days spent with the friend group.
You always felt as if Min Ho would never want something serious, let alone possible ruin such a good friendship with you. So, for such a long time, you pushed your thoughts and feelings for him away.
No one realized how deep your feelings for Min Ho were til Kitty showed up. She made it her mission as a self-proclaimed Matchmaker to get you two together. She says that “There is definitely some chemistry between you guys.”
“Hey Y/n,” a voice said cheerfully, that voice belonged to Min Ho. “Thanks for getting the shopping,” he beamed as he walked towards you.
“Okay I gotta get going,” Kitty said quickly, dismissing herself from the conversation and the front door shut behind her.
“Hi,” you said with a tight smile, awkwardly moving to grab a couple pans and pots. “What’s on the menu today?” you ask, trying your best to not act weird.
“Well, I do have a method, so I’ll just need you either chop or stir stuff,” Min Ho said as he got closer and placed an arm around your shoulders. “I deem you, my sous chef,” he joked but you couldn’t even find anything he said humorous.
Your stomach felt as if it was flipped upside down. And maybe you were sweating? Maybe you were turning pale? Who knows. But all you knew was that you had no escape and no backup.
“Y/n?”
You snapped out of your nervous daze and looked back up at Min Ho. His face flashed with concern, catching on to your lack of attentiveness.
"Ah yes, I'll just be stirring and chopping away," you say, hands motioning both actions before you quickly dropping them-feeling like a proper idiot.
"Right, let's get to it." Min Ho says, migrating all the veggies and herbs on the counter to the sink. "How come you didn't go visit family Chuseok?" he asks.
"It's quite the journey just to be there for 48 hours or less," you shrugged, clearing the counter of any shopping bags and trash. "What about you?" you questioned.
"As you know, my mom and I usually celebrate Chuseok together, but she couldn't this year. So, she sent me a basket." Min Ho explains, pointing to the gift basket that sat on one of the bar stools.
"That's sweet of her," you commented, glancing over at the present.
Yeah, but my dad? Not so much," he chuckled, drying all the veggies and placing them next to the cutting board. "Can you get started on these?" he requested with a smile.
"Of course," you nodded, absent-mindedly reaching for the onion that was still in Min Ho's hands. "Oh-I"m sorry," you said quickly; after watching it drop to the ground.
"Are you alright Y/n? If you're not up to it, I can get figure this out on my own," he said as he plucked the onion from the floor, wiping it down with a paper towel.
"I'm okay, it's just-" you paused.
"It's what exactly?" Min Ho asks curiously, looking deep into your eyes with his coal black ones.
You took a deep breath before saying, "Okay, Kitty left me here with you so that I could confess my feelings for you". Minho merely blinked so you continued to ramble on. "But clearly, the pressure of me explaining how I fell in love you but also don't want to risk our friendship literally eats my alive!"
"-And I totally understand that you don't feel the same way about me because of that blank look on your face. I just don't know how to stop feeling the way I do about you. I've tried talking to other people and even going on dates but always realized it's you who I wanted to be with." you sigh, and Min Ho squinted slightly with his head tilted to the side.
"-Don't even get me started on the total tens you bring to our hangouts," you add, referring to the girls he brings around. "You're out of my league and such a catch. So honestly, I seem pretty stupid for thinking you might even as much as like me back." you groan as you stormed out of the kitchen and began putting your shoes back on.
"-I just can't do this. I'll just leave." you say, your face feeling hot as you reached for the door.
"Do I not get a say in this?" Min Ho asked, grab hold of your wrist gently.
"I don't feel like hearing you shut me down right now," you grumbled as you turned back to face him.
"Y/n, I'm not going to," he replied with a smile, making your eyes widen.
"What?" you said quickly.
"Why would I? I've fallen for you so hard; a lot, not a little bit." he confessed. "I always thought you were too good for me," he said, now taking proper hold of your hand in his. "You are just so perfect and I'm just me," he shrugged.
You stood in the entryway in disbelief. Min Ho had felt the same way this whole time and you had not a single clue about it.
"If I had known sooner, I would've already done something about it," he said with a smile as he stepped forward and cupped your cheek.
"L-like what exactly?" you stuttered, your breathing hitched as your nose brushed against each other.
"This." Min Ho muttered, pulling you in for a kiss.
Min Ho's soft lips pressed gently against yours and it felt as if they moved in sink. Your arms were slung around his neck as his found their place at the small of your back.
The world felt still but also as if it were spinning, with your eyes shut-all you could focus on was on close Min Ho had pulled you in. It was like he didn't want to ever let you go or move on from this moment. Perhaps you both became the center of gravity, and everything was being put into place.
Both of you pulled away instinctively for some air and your eyes fluttered open, settling on Min Ho's gaze. Your faces remained merely a few centimeters apart, sharing the same breath before leaning once again.
This time, there was a certain kind of passion in the way your kiss felt. Your heart was pounding as your hands ran through Min Ho's well-kept hair. His lips left yours's and began a trail to your jawline, down to your neck.
A gasp escaped your lips as he began suckling on your skin. Quickly being able to identify your sweet spots. Your knees felt as if they were going to give out as he pulled your blouse down for more access. His lips felt like a heaven, you could only imagine how the rest of him was going to feel.
"Oh my-" you moaned as Min Ho worked his way around, leaving marks wherever possible.
"Yes?" he mumbled against your skin, watching how your thighs shifted against each other. "Tell me what you want," he said as he pulled away from your neck.
"You, I want you," you sighed as your chest rose and fell heavily.
Min Ho's hands drifted to the hem of your trousers, his fingers pulling the zipper down. You held breath as he pulled them down nice and slow.
“Is this, okay?” he questioned, his hand hovering over your clothed pussy. “Y/n?” He said as he looked up and into your eyes.
“Y-yes,” you nodded as he also pulled down your underwear, helping you take completely remove any clothing from your lower half.
Min Ho then stood up and led you around the kitchen and motioned for you to sit at one of the barstools. You wordlessly complied, getting comfortable in your seat just for Min Ho to pull you in. Both literally and mentally, you were on the edge of your seat.
He then placed himself between your legs, his face directly in front of your dripping cunt and your legs over his shoulder. Min began kissing your inner thighs, teasingly getting a bit closer every time.
“I wish I knew sooner how wet I get you,” he smirked before brushing his fingers against your fold. “How badly you wanted me,” he says, beginning to rub your clit gently.
In a repetitive circular motion, his finger worked your pussy. His eyes darkened with lust, watched as your chest rose and shuddered with every breath. Your head thrown back, but he could still hear you heavy breathing and soft moans.
He then pushed a finger through your fold and slowly. You gasped as you felt him slid into your pussy with ease. Min Ho chuckled due to the noises that escaped your lips, provoking him to insert a second finger.
Curving his finger slightly against your walls, your own hands were holding your position steady on the stool. Just then your phone rang, you and Min Ho both froze for a second.
“I think that might be Kitty,” you sighed as Min Ho pulled from you. “Hey,” you say after grabbing your phone and answering the call.
“How’s everything going?” She asks excitedly, unaware of the literal position you were in.
“Everything’s going just fine,” you reply as Min Ho pulled you away from the counter, guiding you to the couch. “What’s up Kitty?” you question.
“Well, I just wanted to know what the status was on the food,” she replied as you watched Min Ho take off his pants and boxers. “We are just setting up a couple more decorations,” she adds, while you both sat down.
It was difficult to focus on the call when the guy who just fingered was stripping down. His toned abs were where your attention was at. Your eyes noticeably widened and focused down south.
“Yeah, we’re a little behind but can definitely get things done in 20-30 minutes?” you guesstimated. “I sort of did forget a few things, so we ordered for them to be delivered,” you lied, Min Ho moving you into a laying down position and your legs in the air.
“Are you okay?” Kitty questioned with worry in her tone, “Your breathing is a little heavy,” she reasons while Min Ho took his position on top of you.
“I’m f-fine,” you tried to assure as he caressed the tip of cock against your folds. “Just a bit peckish,” you add.
“Well did you guys talk it out yet?” She asks, you could visualize the giddy smile on her face.
“Yeah, and you know-“ you began before the phone was taken out of your grasp.
“Now’s not a good time Covey,” Min Ho huffed, tossing his head back to remove his sweat gelled hair back. “I need Y/n-“ he blanked, “-For pot stirring.” He blabbered quickly before hanging up.
“Pot stirring?” You snorted as Min Ho placed your phone on the coffee table.
“What? Did you want me to tell her what were really up?” He asked with a brow lifted.
“No,” you replied, your face turning bright red.
“Better be quick,” he sighed, “Hope you can take it,” he smirked as he finally pushed his cock deep inside your cunt.
With one of your legs over his shoulder, Min Ho began slamming his hips against yours. A rush of cold air hit your chest as Min Ho lifted up your top along with your bra.
You were a moaning mess as Min Ho continuously drilled into your walls. Every thrust becoming rougher and quicker than the previous one.
“So bloody wet for me,” Min Ho smiled smugly, “You can’t even say anything back-too busy taking this dick?” He wondered before slowing down.
“Why’d you stop?” You muttered almost incoherently, being able to lay still.
“Turn around,” he instructed, and you did as you were told. “I just wanna feel you come for me,” he grunted, shoving his cock back in your cunt.
Min ho propped you up against his chest. His hands greedily squeezing your tits. Your hands found their way reaching and gliding through his hair.
“You are so sexy,” Min Ho whispered in your ear. “Your pussy feels so good around me,” he says, placing kisses along your neck.
“Fuck,” you gasp, feeling a knot begin to form in your stomach.
“You’re close huh?” He muttered as you feel his hand trail down to your clit.
Min Ho started rubbing your clit and the blissful feeling that overcame you sent you into overdrive. You moans became increasingly pornographic as he hastened the speed of his hips.
“F-feels too good,” you slurred, “Min Ho-fuck it’s too good,” you said again.
“Well, I’m not gonna stop,” he murmured, looking down and watching your ass bounce on his dick. “Not til you cum,” he huffs.
“Stop,” you moaned, your cunt squeezing around his length, “Oh God,”
“Cum for me,” he said, the speed of his hand and his hips not wavering.
Your body shivered as a wave of ecstasy hit you, but Min Ho didn’t stop. This time, he bent you over and got his dick slamming into your sweet spot.
“Cum with me,” Min Ho huffed, his hands pulling you in repeatedly by the waste
“I c-can’t,” you whined, your vision becoming blurry.
“You pussy squeezing around my cock shows otherwise,” he moans, the clapping sound of your hips echoing through the dorm.
You felt like you were gonna pass out, everything felt too good. The way he kept fucking into you made you begin to shake.
“That’s it,” you hear Min Ho say, your cunt tightly entrapping his length again. “Don’t let me leave this pussy til you cum,”
As if on que, you came once more right as Min Ho pulled out and covered your back in his hot seed. You finally slumped onto the couch, eyes shut and breathing hot.
“I don’t think we’ll never not do that’s,” he chuckled, going to grab a towel.
Gently, Min Ho wiped you down and due to you lack leg function, he helped you put your clothes back on.
He also quickly threw a meal together, enough to cater for everyone meeting for Chuseok. You admired him from the couch, since he insisted you rest while he cooked.
Still shirtless, he prepared everything for the trek back to main campus. Since you were going to have to walk, Min Ho decided to carry everything.
“Where have you guys been?” Q questioned; everyone was already finding their seats.
“Busy whipping up a good meal,” Min Ho replied as he handed off the food to Kitty. “Sit with me?” He asked as he turned to you.
“Of course,” you smiled as you both went to sit with your group of friends.
When everyone was finally seated and Kitty gave a little speech, Min Ho held your hand. Looking over at him, he gave a cheeky grin.
“I’m glad to have spent it with you,” he smiled.
“So sappy,” you joked as Kitty sat across from you before eating the dinner on your plate.
“You guys look like you did more than talked,” she whispered, and your eyes widened.
“And what exactly did they do Ms. Covey?” Lee questioned between bites.
“Made-uh such a delicious meal,” Kitty said quickly. “Chuseok really brings people together,” she laughed forcefully.
“Right,” Professor Lee muttered.

My shifting guidebook.
Tumblr media
This is my last post, as melodramatic as I was in my last post, since both the posts I've made on here and reddit i got busy with responding to dms (for those confused check my first post) so i didn't permashift.
Unfortunately i still couldn't respond to all the messages and questions sent to my inbox and dms, mainly because of the different time zones and general laziness from my side.
I appreciate everyone who asked questions, although i felt it's a bit unfair since the answers to very common problems didn't reach everyone, and i want everyone to shift, i want everyone to shift tonight, so i decided i'll make a post to share all my knowledge, whatever i know, sort of like a parting gift.
And this isn't going to be a beginners guide, mainly for people who need a final push, and most importantly, for emergency shifters.
Onto the questions (: Divided into categories, skip through according to your needs :)
Detachment from CR, attachment to DR:
How can i detach from my CR/attach to my DR?
Generally, detachment can be achieved by numbing your emotions in your CR. But first, I would advise you to refrain from extreme and unhealthy detachment, because you'll end up getting stuck in a endless cycle of messing up your CR and not shifting (because you'd have no control over yourself, which would lead to your subconscious getting grounded in the messed up version of your CR; assuming that unhealthy detachment is daydreaming about your DR all day without any sense of where you are, without a strong mindset, when you eventually snap back you'll think even more vividly of your CR)
But- "unhealthy" attachment can be utilised to your advantage, to shift, in a controlled manner.
Pick a day to shift, let it be a weekend. After dusk, only indulge yourself in your DR. (When you're sure you have free time and you won't be disturbed) for me, I hid under the blanket, with a fully charged phone, I spent a portion of the hours listening to subliminals, and a portion of the time scrolling through pinterest with spotify in the background (things that remind you of your DR)
I recommend listening to detachment from CR and attachment to DR subs, and if you are a permashifter, and it's your deadline, go all out.
This is my advice for detachment from CR during the day, during the method it'll be different.
How can I detach from my CR while I'm shifting? I can't divert my attention away from my CR body/mind.
I'm writing in the pov of my own method.
The only way you can let go of the CR while you're shifting is with a calm mind. If you're overthinking about how you're going to carry out your method, whether you'd wake back in your CR, you'll have trouble reaching a detached state.
To detach, first of all, make yourself comfortable, do not try to force yourself into doing something, or laying in a position which makes you uncomfortable. Next, think of thoughts which pushes your CR to the side, your CR is just another reality, and you're the creator of it, treat it like its any other pebble on the road.
Affs: (again, void reality meaning your CR)
"Void reality? Huh, can't seem to remember what that is..."
"It's so peaceful not being in the void reality, going to fix it when I eventually return from my DR" (I vividly remember saying this, if you're a permashifter, make it so it fits your situation)
"..."
(Not saying anything says a lot, fall numb to your void reality and go onto your DR)
Remember, you're not answerable to your CR, its not your boss or captor, it's actually the opposite.
To attach to your DR during the method, in the middle phase of my method, say identity affs until you feel familiarise with your DR self, think of memories, have a small conversation with your DR loved ones, do a small rewind of your DR life in your mind, so you can ground yourself. I won't be going into much details on how to shift by becoming your DR self, my first post says it all.
How to detach from CR body?
Detaching your thoughts is basically detaching your CR body, the 30 second black out state is basically a window to shifting, because when your CR shuts up for a even just a few seconds it will give you the opportunity to divert your attention to your DR, no matter how fidgety you are.
Problems faced while shifting:
Something always itches me when I try to shift, any advice?
Before you're shifting, take a look at you're environmental factors, why are you feeling itchy in the first place?
If it isn't bugs, dry skin, I recall that during the method some symptoms are just itchiness.
Say affs to block off your senses first of all, until then try to control yourself
Affs:
"I have stopped sensing my void reality (CR)"
"I have stopped hearing, feeling, seeing my void reality"
If the need gets overwhelming and you're just starting your method, make yourself comfortable and move a bit, or just itch it, you can still shift.
I always fall asleep when I try to shift, what should I do?
During the day you're going to shift, and you know you're just tired and lack sleep, take a nap during the day.
If you didn't nap, or just generally feel sleepy still, turn my method into a sleep method, by letting yourself fall asleep while you're actively acting, thinking like your DR self (you'll wake up in your DR the next day)
Sleeping is a good tool for shifting, especially if you're starting to doze off while doing your method, you can achieve other states such as sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming or mind awake body asleep state, so don't get discouraged, if you prefer awake methods, there are some subliminals you can use to stay awake.
I always fear or dread shifting while doing my method and back out at the last minute.
(Copypasted from reddit)
Familiarise yourself with your DR, it's not scary if you know where you're laying, who you are, what's next to you and who's going to be in the room.
If you already start acting like your DR self then in theory fear shouldn't be here (why would you be scared being yourself in an environment which is supposed to be familiar to you?)
It also depends upon the kind of fear
Fear of spirits snatching your soul mid shift - listen to safety and protection subliminals (no, I wasn't personally possessed by demons last minute but it will put your mind at ease)
Fear of the unknown - familiarise yourself with your DR and shifting
Fear of symptoms - don't focus on them
Just know that nothing fearful will exist as long as you don't allow it to exist, you're the creator of your reality.
Trouble focusing while shifting.
Once you're even a tad bit detached from your CR, you would have no trouble focusing, because it's only your CR body's mind which is causing you trouble, the semi-void state in my method (when you don't feel your body that much, you force yourself to not have thoughts) is all you need to do to go onto the next phase of your method, and trust me, it'll feel very easy for you.
Prior to shifting, listen to frequencies, subliminals, basically flood your subconscious with your desired affs (calm mind subs, focus subs, general shifting and void state subliminals) when you're shifting, stare at the blackness and think of it as a milky way, like you're stargazing, I don't know why but your hyperfixation allows you to focus; count to a hundred, visualise your DR memories, youll eventually reach a trance state where you're focused and ready to shift. (if you can't visualise, then think of it in the form of a story)
Misc:
For folks with ADHD:
(Copy pasted from reddit)
I'd recommend try listening to subliminal (especially bundles) when you aren't feeling like doing anything or if you think your messing up.
Also try to keep yourself as comfortable as possible, if you can distract yourself in a way you aren't attached to your CR activities, for example watching movies or shows or youtube video which require minimal effort and attention
And im saying this only if you're utilizing a single day for shifting, or practicing LOA
while doing the method, i'd try to use as less time as possible, and if you feel off, then you can open your eyes and try the method after a small break.
Can I shift to-
Yes, yes, yes. You can shift to anywhere your mind can think up of, it really is that simple. You can shift to the past, shift to prevent a certain event, you can shift to a reality with a confusing concept, you can shift to become a chair.
Did you shift to a animated DR? How was it like?
I shifted to a pokemon DR where I studied pokemons for a living, but I quickly shifted back after 2 days because I got bored.
Personally for me I get creeped out of anything that's eerie or out of the ordinary.
So basically I scripted that it'll feel normal and I wouldn't even question it.
So I didn't, and now that I think about it, everything was proper, people had noses it wad 3D and everything, so just this reality except everyone looked unnaturally good and the world's graphic were different. If the entire world looks the same then nothing feels weird.
Your opinion on clones/time period?
I don't really care about clones or what they are, mainly because I believe in the consciousness theory, and the multiverse theory is a subdivision of consciousness theory, you basically let yourself believe there is a multiverse and for that reason it exists.
So in perceptive of the multiverse theory, your "clone" is just a body, which comes under your command or control.
It can't mess up your CR life, it'll make the same choices as you like you would have made if you were present in your CR.
Personally I had scripted that when I shift back I will wake up the next morning, following the night when I was shifting.
So my "clone" was just sleeping.
Secondly, stop stressing over your clone,
It'll just do what you want it to do, or just live life how you'd normally would
If you script your clone is a superhuman for the time you're in you DR, you'll shift back to a parallel reality of your CR where a superhuman lived your life for a while, but if you want you can just shift to a better CR like I did.
...
Those are all questions that came in my mind, I tried looking back into the chats and inbox to find more commonly asked questions or something I didn't clarify in my first post but most other questions had straight forward or a clear enough answer.
I really wanted to expand this post with more sections and questions, but in my opinion my first and this post combined are a lot of their own, I think I clarified a lot.
It's been a week being on Tumblr, and I loved helping people out, everyone was kind and unique in their own ways, I looked through my followers scripts and blogs and I enjoyed everyone's dedication to shifting, and their DRs (btw, I hadn't expected to get so many follows and notes, I'm genuinely suprised even now)
It had been a lovely experience being on shiftblr, in my opinion it's the best shifting, or just generally the best community on the internet.
As much as I would like to stay and blog regularly on here, I have to go back home, I'm permashifting in (from the time this post went up) 7 hours, and this time I'm not staying, so refrain from asking me questions after that, I won't respond, but this post will still be up.
Farewell, I hope your shifting journey conclude today and each of you live happily in your DR, with your well deserved love, respect and peace.
Goodbye c:
(Within the 7 hours, I may be partially active, if there is any question that is truly different and a genuine struggle for you, inbox me, I'll try my best to answer; I may as well post my DR script in my last few hours, since some people asked, remind me if I forget; also not posting on reddit, ive already annoyed the mods so much by breaking several rules)
