Let me ramble about Lelouch a little, because he just deserves it.

Lelouch, who holds you in the palm of his hand but you also always manage to escape his grasp. Just when he thinks he has you, just when he thinks he can finally rest, you catch him off guard. Your mere existence foils his plans as it does not allow him to do what needs to be done. He sits in his chair, wearing the mask of Zero as he looks far away in the distance. To the untrained eye he looks as though he is scheming, coming up with future plans for the Black Knights to follow. But the way in which he gets startled gives him away, his quiet "Huh?" always making people like Tamaki chuckle and laugh in pure amusement.

"Well well, even a guy like Zero has a soft side!"

They have no idea just how utterly soft their brave leader really is.

Lelouch, who becomes absolute putty in your hands whenever you touch him, even if it was just accidental. He is used to the brutality of battle and blood, something so soft is... Ethereal. Unimaginable. It sets his heart ablaze, forcing him to speed up his plan just a little bit. He just wants you to be safe.

Lelouch, who can't read you at all and that drives him like crazy. He can't play you like the other pieces on his board, you're too precious for that. He is the King and you are the Queen on that board. He started to accidentally protect the Queen in actual chess matches of his King, much to the bewilderment of his opponents. In his mind, the King is worthless without the Queen. And in that same way, Lelouch would be nothing without you.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Emperor Lelouch —Aesthetic

Emperor Lelouch vi Britannia's Reign

At eighteen, Lelouch became the 99th Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire. He abolishes all the oppressive laws and class systems of Britannia. Lelouch frees every colony, thereby abolishing the concept of "Numbers," and puts down all resistance to his goals. However, the benevolent acts are a smokescreen for his intention to take over the world, the Zero Requiem. Eventually, with no one left to oppose him, Lelouch becomes ruler of the world. Later, he arranges the public execution of the Black Knight leaders and the U.F.N. representatives. Suzaku, disguised as Zero, interrupts and kills Lelouch, the culmination of the Zero Requiem as they had planned. By directing all the hatred of the world onto him, Lelouch's death will serve to facilitate peace, while simultaneously redeeming his and Suzaku's sins by having them impose the greatest punishments on themselves: death for Lelouch who wishes for a tomorrow with his sister, life for Suzaku who wishes to atone for his sins through death. When Lelouch falls near Nunnally, she takes his hand and realizes he had sacrificed himself on purpose for her dream and world peace. Lelouch dies smiling in the arms of a crying Nunnally, saying he has destroyed the world and created it anew. Suzaku is left playing the role of Zero. In reality, Lelouch leaves the country, having faked his death to live out his immortal life with C.C. as the two are seen on a hay cart in the Japanese version. He gains the power of "Code" from his father, Charles, who got it from V.V. Lelouch was able to kill Charles since his Geass was fully evolved. But before doing that, he used his powers to transfer Charles's Code to him. Shortly before dying, Charles grabbed Lelouch's neck with his hand that bore the Code Geass brand. As such, the brand transfered to his neck, thus why he started wearing typical clothes beyond his school uniform, which conceal his neck.

Unholy Trinnity in Hogwarts

I recently returned to the Code Geass fandom. Which hurts a lot because this fandom is almost dead and despite that, the ideas continue to flow in my head. Fanfic ideas that I'm not going to write of course, but if someone wants it, all yours.

So more or less a Harry Potter AU. Which I haven't seen many of actually.

Moments after his death, Lelouch awakens on a different existential plane than World C. There he meets A.A., the embodiment of the human consciousness and the first existing code, who distributed the Geass to humanity.

In said plane, they propose a deal: In exchange for more entertainment than Lelouch has been providing since he became a contractor, they would allow him a second chance at life in a different world, since they do not want him in world C and if he is expelled from there his soul will be painfully tortured for eternity until it is finally erased. Seeing that Lelouch vehemently denies, they sweetens the deal by assuring that he could take C.C. and Suzaku with them when the latter's lifespan expires. Despite his doubts, having nothing to lose, Lelouch decides to accept.

Time in said plane passes differently than reality, so in the small period that Lelouch falls asleep in preparation for his soul to be sent to his next reincarnation, Suzaku (who has become immortal due to Lelouch's geass) and C.C. are brought to the existential plane by A.A.

While for Lelouch only a few hours have passed since his death, for Suzaku and C.C. have been decades. Suzaku's mental state is especially fragile after everything that has happened and his renewed inability to die now that he has immortalized himself.

A.A. attacks where it hurts and proposes the same thing to them as he did to Lelouch: In exchange for entertainment while they modify the destiny of the world to which they would be sent, they would be allowed a second life at Lelouch's side. Unexpectedly, Suzaku is the first to agree despite C.C.'s reluctance.

To facilitate their adjustment to their situations in their future reincarnations, A.A. has allowed them several gifts, including a psychic/empathic link, the maintenance of the geass and codes they had (including the code that Lelouch carried and which was not activated due to Lelouch's desperate wish to die and which he unconsciously overturned through his geass), and families in which they were protected.

Using the power of the Caretaker of Spacetime, AA sends them through the dimensional veil to be reborn in this new world.

Thus, throughout the year 1969, three children are born in various parts of the magical world: In Japan, on July 10, Suzaku Kururugi is born to the muggles Byakko and Varvara Kururugi; in France, October 5 is followed by Cassandra Chatagnier of the muggle Valeray Chatagnier and his witch wife, Étiennette; and on December 5, Lelouch Black-Lamperouge of Eridanus Black and his wife Marion Lamperouge.

In this way, the Demon Emperor, the White Knight and the Immortal Witch end up in the world of Harry Potter.

I'll do my babies' family tree later, so you can see where the trio fall in the complicated British political climate. Especially Lelouch, the punching bag of the universe, who has been given the short stick, again.

Ooh I don't mind at all but also this is a very hard question 🤣 I'll make a caveat that this top 10 is not necessarily in order and is subject to change but I love any opportunity to talk about my faves <3. Think of it as list of characters that I love more than a proper top 10

Yuki Sohma (Fruits Basket) - Gotta start with the guy that's been my icon on here for several years now. I read the Fruits Basket manga when I was in 7th grade and I resonated so hard with Yuki's internal struggles. I've always said our life circumstances are very different but our anxieties and personal difficulties are so similar and I had never encountered a character I related to so hard before so I latched on and have not let go to this day

Shigeo Kageyama (Mob Psycho 100) - I'm currently rewatching this series and keep thinking about how if it had come out when I was younger I would have probably latched on to Mob just as much as I did Yuki for how relatable he can be lmao. As an adult I watch it and really root for this kid and feel genuinely proud in every moment of growth he experiences.

Yusuke Urameshi (Yu Yu Hakusho) - A character I was younger than the first time I watched the anime and am currently significantly older than and he has become my anime son. I adore this boy in all of his asshole tough guy posturing and his wit and genuine care for his friends and determination and just all of it. I also want to wrap him in a blanket and give him some delicious hot soup.

Lelouch Lamperouge (Code Geass) - One thing about me is if a character is pretty and cunning and deadly intelligent and morally grey, they are likely going to be a favorite and Lelouch was an early example of this for me. Code Geass is one of my favorite animes I've ever watched and watching Lelouch scheme and generally be him is so damn delightful every time. He's a character I feel like I could write an entire dissertation on, I honestly could with any of these characters, but I am trying to avoid that for the sake of the length of this post lmao

Wei Wuxian (Mdzs/The Untamed) - How did it take me this long to talk about mdzs? Wei Wuxian is absolutely amazing to watch or read about in every single scene. Complicated and brilliant and cocky and so very tragic. He's another one who hits a LOT of points on the "Who is gonna be Sarah's next favorite character" bingo card. I've scarcely cried for a character as much as I've cried for Wei Wuxian, he is so dear to my heart.

Chuuya Nakahara (Bungo Stray Dogs) - What can I say? I love an angry boy. I'll be honest, a lot of my initial love for Chuuya was aesthetics. His hair and outfit alone had me primed to love him from the start but then he came in with that cocky/angry attitude and honestly fucking sick power and that solidified it lmao. And then the more I learned about him beyond the aesthetics and immediate impressions the more I loved him.

Jiang Cheng (Mdzs/The Untamed) - Definitely gotta mention my favorite angry boy of all my angry boys <3. This man has so many flaws and I honestly do get why it's hard for some people to like him but man I love him so much. His temper, to me, is just another side of his passion which also extends into his ambition and love and he rebuilt his clan from nothing and I'm definitely a person who even when it comes to his more "wrong" decisions/actions I think they're more understandable than the people who hate him say. I feel a strong need to defend him a lot of the time

Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece) - Nothing but respect for my pirate king!!!! Luffy is such a fun character. Like truly one of my favorite shonen protags of all time and that mostly comes down to how hard he makes me smile while reading just constantly. Everything he says and everything he does is so wildly entertaining while also being so earnest and honest and simultaneously laid back. The way he loves his crew and puts everything he has into being their captain. I love him so much lol

Wen Kexing (Word of Honor) - Pretty, cunning, morally grey, do I need to say more? His totally shameless attitude in the beginning was so funny all the time and then the deeper we got into his character the more he went from being the most entertaining person on screen to, well still that, but also a character I feel so many emotions for all the time.

Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) - Now here's some top tier anime son material. My love for Al has only ever grown with the years and subsequent rewatches of this series. I. Love. This. Boy. He has seen and been through too much and is still so good and loving and steadfast in his goals and values. Literally couldn't find a better boy. 10/10

I’ve sold my soul to the devil and his name is Lelouch... I’m scared for thirsting for him but there’s no turning back now. ALSO, like all of my Lelouch fics so far (2), this is just experimental and something I whipped up in the spur of the moment literally right before going to sleep.

Smoke clouded your vision as salty tears streamed down your face, your arms just barely shielding you from the horrors of the bloody battle that was taking place in front of you, a battle so gruesome you wouldn't be at fault for thinking that all of this was just a nightmare, a horrible nightmare that would cause you endless uneasiness once you woke up. Sad thing is though, the odd beauty of nightmares is that once they're over, they are indeed over, you can just brush them aside at the back of your mind and never think about them ever again, lest the thought somehow managed to creep up on you in the middle of your daily routines, only for it to be once again put back into your subconscious mind, never to be touched again.

The splatters of blood that adorned you from head to toe were all too real however, they could not be ignored. The smell, oh God the smell, it was agonizing, it was sticking to your entire body, like sharp claws that were refusing to let go. Final screams of horror filled could be heard all over along with the sounds of heavy machinery and open gunfire, the powerful bullets getting rid of anyone that stood in their way. If it weren't for the fact that you were safely tucked away in a little safehouse that was a few kilometers away from the battlefield, you would have been dead three times over. Even then, there was no time to worry about that.

The gun that was pointed straight at your heart at this very moment was much more concerning.

You cursed yourself for your stupidity and Lelouch's selfishness, why on Earth did you follow him to begin with?! You were just so worried about him, not only was he cutting classes but there was something wrong with him, like there were some invisible weights that were keeping him chained to the ground, unable to let him live his life freely. You wanted to help him, to ease his burdens and to be by his side, but he always ran away, he would disappear like the wind and no one would see him for days. Wishing to take the reigns for once you decided to sneaky, and thanks to a lot of hard work, some detective work and just a pinch of luck you managed to find yourself in this current predicament. Zero himself was the one who was holding the gun, something a large number of people would have been curious to see, but not you.

You were not facing Zero.

It was Lelouch himself.

The harsh truth and gravity of the situation hit you like a pile of bricks, icy fear quickly spreading all over you weakened body. Holding his helmet in one hand and gun in the other Lelouch approached you, his steps cautious but quick. With each step you took backwards he would move forward, backing you in a dark corner until you could feel the harsh barrel of the gun that threatened to take your life right there and then. You wanted to speak up, to say something, anything, but all of your cries and pleas simply died on your lips, before ever even having a chance to be properly uttered.

The sounds of the outside world seemed to be muffling the longer you were here, like nothing else mattered besides what was happening in this little corner. Without moving his weapon Lelouch carefully placed his helmet on the ground, his pretty purple eyes never breaking eye contact with you. He was lost deep in thought that much was obvious, but the sudden warmth of his approaching hand sent you over the deep end, a sudden wave of desire to slap him so hard that he would bleed and see stars. Newfound resentment bloomed in your chest as he played with your cheek, his gloved hands carefully pinching the soft flesh without a care in the world, as if both of you weren't standing in the middle of a bloody warzone. His arrogance was almost praiseworthy at times, even now with death hovering above you like an old friend.

Without a word he pressed his forehead against your own, his long eyelashes tickled you as you desperately tried to create some sort of distance between you, but it all proved to be futile in the end. With your back pressed firmly against the old wall behind you, Lelouch made sure to cage you further by pressing himself even further into you, his half covered face almost completely pressed against your own. Neither one of you were capable of exchanging any words at that moment, especially not poor Lelouch as he pondered on what he should do with you. He toyed with the idea of killing you but he couldn't do that. Not to you.

How ironic, he thought to himself.

He, Lelouch vi Britannia, who has slaughtered thousands by this point, could not pull the trigger of the gun he held in his hand. He was a lot weaker than he thought, all of the love he felt towards you came flooding back to him, the urge to protect you and make you all his almost made him go mad. He had to be composted though, he couldn't let anyone know of your presence here. An idea suddenly popped into his mind, a little smirk on his lips as he tilted your chin to the side, making sure that you could not look away.

"(y/n)..."

His voice was calm and composed, typical Lelouch. The next words though, they would change your life forever.

"... I, Lelouch vi Britannia command you to love me, and only me. You will be mine until death does up part."

His command was so confident, so self assured that it felt like he just punched you straight in the stomach and knocked all air out of your lungs. You couldn't even dwell on that pain much either, not when it felt like your head was going to explode into a million little pieces. The ice in your heart was melting away, the void was being replaced with something that wasn't supposed to be there, something that you would never ever allow on your own accord.

You were clever he would give you that, but you still didn't know about his power, much to his joy. He had hoped to win you over the good old fashioned way but the way things are, this really was the only option for him. Not only would you be safe, you would also be with him as well. He's... He's awful for doing this, he knows it.

But he just can't lose you. He can't lose you. If he does, his heart can never heal. He needs you a lot more than he's willing to admit.

Your life was over the moment you met Lelouch and you didn't even know it.
