Some stuff about elven/faerie culture

. There are light fae and dark fae - and the light fae and dark fae in general have longtime dramas with each other

. The Fae folk in general can be an unpredictable bunch. Fae Magic in general can be more unpredictable than wizard/witch magic

. No one can touch their ears unless it's their families, friends and S/Os

. Any attempt of Tearing down their wings or chopping off their ears is regarded as a capital insult to the fae folk in general

. Dances aren't just a popular hobby in fae culture - it can also be a form of combat in battle

. Fae folk generally learn how to fly before they can walk

. Fae related accessories are popular for the Fae Folk

. The Elven/Fae folk have hyper hearing and can control their hyper hearing

. Fae folk can range from elves that are in general taller than an average human, to small pixies that reside in spacious flowers

. Offering sweets and baked treats is a form of hospitality in elven/fae culture

. Similarly with dwarven culture, elven/fae culture is generally more collective geared. A number of elves and fae have a ' You mess with one of us, you mess with ALL of us ' mentality

. The elven and fae folk generally won't tell elven/fae related secrets to anyone outside of elven/fae Realms that easily. If that happens, it means that that non elven/fae really has earned their trust about these things.

. The Light Fae in general wield bright Magic, while the dark fae in general wield dark magic.

This book is a rollercoaster of emotions! The Seelie King would have you believe this is a story about good versus evil, and it is, but the evil ones are not who the king suggests.

With the Seelie princess “stolen”, I almost hated Fia for how she reacted once placed in the Unseelie kingdom. But she soon learns not all Unseelie are terrible and that her “uncle” and his trusted advisors were wrong.

When Fia finally adjusts to her new home and her connection to the Unseelie Prince, I was so happy! And then their wedding brought forth the tears, as well as the misunderstanding afterwards, but Fia getting revenge cemented my love for her.

Oh and did I mention there’s a dragon..? Haha

. Pleasure Elves :

- Dress regularly like it's some masquerade party on the reg

- Colorful masks are VERY POPULAR amongst the pleasures

- Has several inspos from Medieval/Renaissance Italian and Spanish fashions, Byzantine fashions and also Nordic fashions

- Also generally VERY COLORFUL STYLES, and also BOLD MAKEUP IS VERY POPULAR FOR THEM

- Braids ( YES THE LIGHT FAE IN THE NINE REALMS LOVE THEM THEIR BRAIDS ), paint markings and mountain nomadic related accessories

Light of Knowledge (Endless Knowledge) Children of Beast Au

Inspired by seeing @fishymom-art light of knowledge design.

The lights in the Soul Jams are godlike power, representing their domains, made specifically for their owners, and their owners being made for them.

This in return, makes them protective of their owners. And very likely to kill thieving cookies who tried to steal the soul jams. Theives only live long if they know it would upset the owner (Smoked Cheese) or it’s entertaining to watch. Basically during the part of the odyssey, one of the mask cookies doesn’t make it back.

Fun design elements:

- the eyes of the light have the forms of the owners in them. Typically as a way of protecting their soul no matter what.

- vas unknown knowledge represented by the space in chest.

- hands bound, ether by bound knowledge or a self inflicted punishment for not being able to save Shadow Milk and the beasts from their corruption.

- scroll hair will become claw like arms to make up for the bound hands.

- always stone face, unknown if they can move their face.

This is the Light hiding in Shadow Milk and Pure Vanilla soul jam. Note that only SM has seen the Lights true form so far.
