as per usual when it comes to my character appearance analysis i can only speculate on facts rather than bias! so here’s what we know:

jude describes him as looking better than the rest (gentry children/ppl, keep in mind that the gentry are the richest most flamboyant of all the fae so this is certainly saying something) even when she has NO reason to feel that way abt him considering how he treated her, implying that he is FINE atleast according to jude’s standards!

but also according to the world of elfhame, if there is beauty, then it is great beauty, excruciating beauty that makes everything else seem dull in comparison. beauty that the mortal mind cannot comprehend, which is how jude describes him, so hes prob an absolute heartthrob, but honestly, there is no way for me to word it that will describe how good looking cardan must be.

like imagine the absolute hottest most beautiful most perfect guy ever and boom. cardan greenbriar.

secondly, she says his hair is black iridescent of a ravens wing, as black as midnight, and his eyes are tar-like, coal/crow black minus the gold around his irises. jude also mentions that when looking into them, she is hyper aware of the alienness of faerie. (is it possible his eyes are fully black? minus the golden irises?)

he has moon pale skin w scars across his chest and back, and he often wears kohl, and wears a scowl/sneer. she also says that he has high cheekbones sharp enough to cut out a girls heart (so cliche but i love to hear it)

he has soft pink lips, long fingers (which jude never fails to mention as often as she can) of which he wears many rings, most notably jude’s ruby ring and his greenbriar ring. he has long black lashes that are so long, they brush against his cheek.

his ears are pointed and usually bear jewels.

he has soft curly hair that falls in his eyes, and jude several times says he looks as though he’s just risen from a bed, so it’s messy but in a sexy way. and based on jude’s descriptions i don’t think it’s very long just bc i think it def would’ve been mentioned, this is considering holly blacks writing style, in the modern faerie tales two love interests have long hair and it is described that way, so i think he’s got a pretty basic cut, yk he’s a prince so he’s well groomed.

as for his animal trait, which all greenbriars have, he has a thin whiplike tail that curls and unfurls as such, it is hairless except for a soft tuft at the end. it sways and wags, revealing his emotions, it wraps itself around jude’s thigh and leg when they are intimate. adorable.

he smiles often, when he is nervous, and jude says he is very charming, which jude thinks is very dangerous. (👅)

jude says that if she didn’t know how cruel they all were, she would be just as in love w them as the rest of the gentry. she says that they are beautiful like blades forged in a divine fire. she also says that cardan is sickeningly handsome. she ALSO says that he is horrifically beautiful. (jude is the realest)

madoc says he is foppish (foppish meaning: a man that pays too much attention to his appearance. LOL) but tbh i think cardans just effortlessly beautiful. and no good w a sword.

we can assume in tcp that he’s pretty scrawny, lanky yk.

as for his height, a controversial topic since ppl cannot seem to decide if they want him to be short or tall, though i remain unbiased, jude is of average height, in tcp she says that she is suddenly struck down by his sheer height.

i believe somewhere it is said that he is about a head taller than her, making him about 6 foot+

as the series progress, he grows not just as a person, emotionally, but physically, as the land accepts him as the high king and he begins training w the roach.

jude mentions that she can feel the flex of his muscles beneath her hand, and she slides her hand against the flat plane of his stomach.

jude says many times how he looks the part of the high king, particularly at the end of twk, when he finally uses his high king powers against orlagh, and at this point we know that being the high king has effectively changed him since his being a prince.

he’s also given up his alcohol and never addictions by the end of the series so i don’t think at the end of the series he looks the same as he did, but that can be a biased take since we don’t know the severity of cardans addictions.

we can assume that by the end of the series he’s a bit more muscular, considering his training w the court of shadows and being king and whatnot, but body types are usually up to the reader!

While the culprit was being dragged out by the police, he managed to break free and stole a sword from one of the armor on display.

Albert was about to step in but you managed to steal the sword in his hand and subdue him.

This completely caught Albert's attention, watching how you calmly proved your innocence and showcased your knowledge of medicine and poison and how you protected yourself with finesse.

After consulting with William, he went on to recruit you, seeing potential in your skills to help their cause.

And now, you were appointed as Albert's personal maid.

During gatherings, you're usually a poison tester and his shield-- I mean personal bodyguard from flirtatious noblewomen. (Much to your dismay)

This became a permanent position when someone tried to poison his wine at a gathering.

But he usually compensates by giving you rare herbs and ingredients.

That doesn't mean you stopped trying to find any means to not go to social gatherings though.

When you're experimenting, you can generally see him looming around--looking at your works and asking questions.

You'd ask him why the sudden interest, but he usually brushes them off as mere curiosity.

He likes listening to you talk about different medicines and herbs, finding it fascinating and even joining you in gathering herbs from the forest or planting them in the garden.

He once made you a special sweater that smelled like peppermint for Christmas, providing pockets for the herbs you collect. 

William James Moriarty

You two met when you were kids, back before William and Louis were still living in the slums.

You would try to give some medicine or painkillers to Louis whenever his heart condition acts up.

You and William also browsed the library and whatever books you could get your hands on about medicine and illnesses.

You two would stay by Louis' side to take care of him when his condition gets severe.

You try to look after William, scolding him when he pushes himself too far and nursing him back to health when needed.

But he usually teases you with how you would try poison in your free time, despite you explaining it's for research purposes.

However, you were separated when the two brothers were adopted by the Moriartys.

Until one day, you found two familiar faces in noble attire knocking on your door.

You became the team's medic and support.

He even prepared your own laboratory for your experiments, stocked with different herbs, plants, and ingredients.

Unfortunately, the poisons are all locked and only he and Louis have the key.

William usually has you at the back with Herder and Jack during missions, not wanting you to get into trouble despite knowing how to fight.

You're also his spar partner whenever he wants to sharpen or practice sword fighting.

Unsurprisingly, William usually wins. But he lets you have a victory every once in a while.

He also likes spending time with you in your office, watching you work on your latest creation, or listening to you explain or talk out loud, saying it brings him some sort of peace whenever he's in there with you.

Louis James Moriarty

Same with William's, you both met back when you were kids before they got adopted.

Whenever William is busy trying to find a way to buy food or other essentials, you would stay by his side and try to give him painkillers or medicine.

Sometimes, you would even bring some soothing aromatic plants to help him rest or talk to him about medicine and poison to distract him from the pain.

You even try to make food or snacks that are healthy or help his condition.

He's amazed at the knowledge you possess that even he and his brother couldn't find in books, let alone the passion you have for apothecary.

This doesn't mean he'll let you test anything and everything you can get your hands on.

Not after seeing you accidentally blow up something during an experiment.

Same as William's, you separated after being taken to an orphanage but met again years after and were recruited.

You usually stay at home and help Louis with managing the manors, along with making medicine for everyone.

You usually help him in the kitchen, trying new healthier recipes and avoiding poisonous ingredients.

The poor man has a panic attack every time you taste test poisons with a joyful expression.

He practically child-proofed the house to make sure you didn't do anything too reckless with your tests and experiments.

He also makes sure you don't create anything bizarre whether it's a request or a harmless trial, like an aphrodisiac or hallucinogen.

You two also share advice and spar when it comes to using the blade, despite you using a sword and him focusing more on knives.

You even try to make suggestions, like putting poison on his blade but William quickly shut down the idea.

Billy the Kid

You were assigned as his partner by the Pinkerton Detective Agency.

At first, you were both against it. With Billy's history and you're lack of social skills mixed with his cheerful personality, it was a recipe for disaster.

However, you two managed to work together and somehow fit each other's style, fighting in tandem with your sword and his revolvers.

You're usually in the front lines while he watches your back and blind spots.

Despite facing your enemies head-on, Billy makes sure you don't get hurt and takes the hit when he sees you about to get hurt.

Earning a lecture from you while you tend to his injuries, saying he shouldn't throw himself into danger and you can defend yourself.

Additionally, he usually takes charge when it comes to talking to clients or other people while you stay in the back.

...Maybe looking around the area for any herbs or plants that pique your interest.

This is why Billy usually keeps an eye on you and makes sure you focus on the mission, dragging you by the collar or hand, sometimes even linking your arm with his to make sure you don't wander off.

When you're in your lab experimenting, it doesn't take long before Billy is knocking on your door with fruit snacks, sometimes he even brings some plants he thinks you would like.

While you're working, he's usually in the back looking at the different apparatuses and ingredients on the shelves, asking questions.

It doesn't help when he tries teasing you, saying how unfriendly and awkward you are with people to get a response.

He even stretches your cheeks to see you smile despite your annoyed expression when he's feeling extra bored.

Unfortunately, it only extends to the nicknames he gives you and the corny jokes he'd tell you in between missions.

And the day he finally sees you laughing your heart out, he'll never let you live it down and try to recreate that sound from you.

He hadn’t expected much, when they’d started getting close. At first it’d almost seemed like your usual mentor-mentee deal, especially since Assad was into the same sorts of theatre as he was, but as they’d spent more time together, on set and off, it became… deeper. 28/7/14 [draft from yesterday]

woke up at 11:47 to my parents in my doorway. mum started putting stuff on my bed but i though it was just stuff of mine that id left around the house but it turned out she’d bought me some stuff which is really nice. she got me socks [because i only have one non-fluffy pair], slippers [because our dogs hair is everywhere and my pyjamas end up getting the hair all over the house, even after the place has been hoovered], and purple trainers [because beforehand i only had my converse + knee high converse, and they were both getting muddy and causing me blisters when i go on walks.] i feel extra bad about the argument we had last night now.

i was super tired and my eyes still felt like they were glued shut but i decided not to go back to sleep. i got a little anxious when i saw my ex bestfriend was sad so i sent him a message telling him that i’m here for him and stuff. i still care about him so much, even if we don’t talk anymore. i watched a mikey way complication and listened to a podcast with the way brothers on up until 1:20 when i had a nap [im lazy, i know]

i should mention, i had the weirdest dream. so excuse how bad this explanation is going to be. me and kellin [quinn] were both teens and we were at a restaurant. he had tacky plastic skates on and started doing backflips in them? and running on the spot and joking about being chased? it was such a strange dream to have, especially because i haven’t had one in ages. also, my dad was there for some reason lmaoo

i woke up at around 2 and stayed with boris until 3:20 before i had something to eat and started researching a few crime cases. id been thinking about reading a bit of my sylvia plath book but i got in another argument with my parents [not really with my dad] and practically went into sensory overload so i went in my room and scrolled through ed related things on reddit. although i just wanted to have a conversation with them.

my dad lets things go easier, but mum tends to start saying ‘maybe you’d be happy if i’m not here’ and stuff like that, which i have never and would never imply to her. it just makes me feel like shit, she acts like i’m not allowed to be mad. and i feel absolutely terrible writing this, especially because of the whole gift thing from earlier, and i know shes probably just stressed, and i love her, but nobody acknowledges that i am too. they never do, whatever i do seems to anger my mum. anyway, i spiralled writing this and i don’t wanna turn it into a complete vent post, so let’s carry on.

i carried on scrolling through reddit until like 8 where i went on a walk with all of my family [which we haven’t done in at least a year]. didn’t get off to a good start because the second i walked outside my sister dropped her phone on our rock driveway and smashed her phone to pieces.

tsukishima is very sarcastic and cold, but kind to those who are close to him and those he respects (which is hopefully you as his s/o lol). he is also a man of few words. he says all he needs to to get his point across he is DEF not a yapper. i can def see him being a very active and respectful listener when it comes to you, giving good and genuine advice that may be harsh but its always the truth. this also goes hand in hand with communication. he isnt the most expressive person but i can see him being very blunt and out right telling you when something bothers him or if hes uncomfortable with something since he doesnt want it to happen again, i can see him urging you to do the same and break out of your secretive shell since letting emotions build up and not opening up could end up being very bad

I also see him as a very laid back as a partner and pretty trusting for the most part. he would never overstep his boundaries and let you do whatever you please. i also see him as the type of guy who needs alone time to collect his thoughts as well so he would totally understand if you need some time to yourself as well.

First off tyy for tagging me for your lightlight reasoning request <3 And second here are a few of my main reasons for shipping lightlight (Note I haven't read stellarlune in foreverrr soo)

I had to look in my copy of book 9 for this but when Rayni reveals her identity to them, Wylie recognizes her almost immediately. Like he knows that he's seen her before, despite not seeing her for almost 5 or so years. He also (kinda?) remember what her name was (He messed up a bit there) and Rayni was genuinely surprised that he knew her.

I'm pretty sure there was another moment or two in the book, but honestly I can not remember-

ANYWAYS they have a lot of stuff they can relate too!!

For starters, both lost their parents at a young age.

Both have some kind of older sibling relationship with Tam (they can definitely bond over that; trust me).

They're the oldest of the Solreef household kids, and as the oldest daughter of 4, no matter what the situation you can always, ALWAYS relate to being the oldest.

They have a bunch more things they can relate too, but for now imma move on.

Similarities. Both are usually calm, collective, and mature.

But they also have a good amount of differences to balance it out. Rayni's more of an openly sarcastic person, putting out remarks and slightly insensitive comments, while Wylie's a bit more quiet and reserved.

I feel like they could help each other with themselves a lot too; Like I said either both struggle with loss of parents (though Wylie did got adopted by Tiergan and did get Prentice back, the trauma is still there), both have bad stuff with the Neverseen, and honestly I feel like they could help each other over come those troubles.

In all honestly, if you ship them or not Wylie and Rayni would make an amazing duo, platonic or romantic and I love them for it <3

what do you think the tsar thinks of the darkling lmaoo ?? in the book he seemed naive and trusting,like when he was presented the sun summoner and wanted to talk to him about future plans. What about in emminence grise-verse? does he suspect the affair between tatiana and aleksander? what is the court's general opinion on Alina and the darkling both individually and as a unit?? are they a hot topic in the gossip rags/os alta royal court society papers?

Copying some of that over: I think the dynamic with the Tsar is rather belligerent at the moment, if not full on overtly antagonistic. Just in general, I think the Tsar likes to foist off most responsibility about the minutiae of governance onto others, a pretty large portion of which goes to the Darkling. Despite that, he resents him for running his country for him, and also is often impatient with him for being all business all the time, when he himself is super not. But I think he also is rather insecure about it and quick to feel insulted? As if the Darkling is like trying to make him look bad or be passive aggressive about it. (I mean he probably kind of is, and he’s generally not great at hiding disdain).

For that reason, I think he’s often eager to knock the Darkling down a peg, and to pull rank whenever he feels like it to remind him who’s actually in charge. I think he likes to jerks him around on a whim? He’ll drag his feet on things that seem important to him or just be contrary which can put them in a tough spot because the only thing the Darkling really cares about are military matters 😭😭

So that’s my baseline interpretation of their dynamic. I think things are exacerbated in this fic though because it’s been longer since Alina’s been found and she hasn’t magically solved all of Ravka’s problems.

But all in all, I think the Tsar views him as a self serious stick in the mud, who’s dumb enough to want to do all the work, but at least he gets decent results even if he oversteps and seems to think too highly of himself. He also finds the unaging factor really off putting and weird, so he views him as a freak to boot.

We get very little about the Tsar’s personality in the books, beyond him just being pretty vile. My usual interpretation isn’t that he’s like naive necessarily, rather than just so complacent and secure in his power and position, while also unwilling to shoulder much responsibility himself. Usual decadent noble stuff.

As for the rumors, I think he doesn’t spare them much thought to care about whether it’s true or not. My impression of their dynamic is that he just so supremely does not care about Tatiana that he doesn’t even care through even the most impersonal patriarchal lens of like someone sleeping with his wife being a threat to his masculinity or whatever. There’s very little to extrapolate from but fwiw my read is also that she probably just slept around a lot early on to see if she could make him jealous/just to get any sort of attention, and could not.

Anyway I think it’s pretty telling that Tatiana seems to be the only one who feels threatened by it being an open secret that Nikolai is a bastard. Similarly, if the Tsar has any strong feelings about being cuckholded, they’re going to be directed towards this more prescient instance rather than one more rumor out of many.

The current conflict between the Tsar and the Darkling (Alexander and Aleksander lmao this is why I’m using just titles here) stems mostly from: the Apparat whispering in his ear that the Darkling is far too arrogant and oversteps, and also the long storied Sun Summoner not really garnering much in the way of Results. Her acting as a ferry through the Shadow Fold is well and good but like… this has been disappointing!

Re: the court’s opinions. It varies to an extent. Alina is simultaneously less and more of a novelty. The actual awe has diminished, it’s been some time since she was discovered. And like doing the same light shows at dinner parties gets boring 😴. But she offers fresh entertainment currently because the engagement/imminent wedding is a fun new topic that draws her out and forces her to socialize more. And I think there’s generally some interest because like she’s Grisha marrying into the royal family, there’s probably some level of scandal that the second son is being married before the first (Vasily is not pleased, even if it was his father’s decision). And also I think it was rather well known that she and Nikolai, who was himself practically an unknown quantity at court until recently, were uninterested in the match until suddenly it seems like… there are? So there’s definitely like the scrutiny and gossip you would expect with any sort of high profile marriage.

As for the drama between her and the Darkling, his reputation for keeping very separate from everyone else, and the fact that he’s ageless and immortal, has been doing a lot of heavy lifting, up until the start of the fic at least. And before all the drama began, he had been pretty careful to keep things secret (even if it was more motivated by keeping Alina at arms length than by actually caring about no one knowing). But yeah he is uh… not being that subtle anymore.

I think, generally, everyone can tell that there’s some conflict happening between him and Alina. But the question of what they’re fighting over or the exact nature of their dynamic remains pretty open. I think he’s kind of been thought of as her de facto guardian almost? So people aren’t quite jumping to the conclusion that they’re having an affair. But they can only be so messy and dramatic before more people catch on.

As for the general views on him, I think up until present day, there’s been some resignation to the fact that he’s just painfully uninteresting. One reason why like twenty year old, deliberately planted, gossip about how he may have slept with the Tatiana is still considered relevant. Like he only gives a damn about military affairs and doesn’t even stay at court if he can help it. His canon reputation for being scary af remains, but jaded courtiers would be inoculated to that. So most of them would have just given up on him providing any real gossip or ROI on all the Mysterious Vibes, but now he’s finally breaking decades old patterns and that’s going to have a ripple effect

if someone (me) wants to write (or roleplay) a character with Antisocial Personality Disorder, how do you think they should do it? What are questions that can be asked about the character in order to develop or flesh them out more (like, "how does your character act in blah blah situation")? And do you have any books/excerpts/short stories that have a character with ASPD that you can recommend? Your blog and many others' blog really helped me in understanding how ASPD works, which ends up in me being able to develop this character more. However, I'm still not sure how to actually really write in this character's perspective, mainly because I still want to understand the littler details. I really just don't want to accidentally write something that ends up not being true lol IG if it helps, my character w/ ASPD is very apathetic and he believes that showing emotions is weakness, so he always has a poker face.

Holy fuck I completely forgot I had this blog LMAOO My bad. Anyways.

First off, as a writer, I always try to avoid giving my characters any labels of a disorder especially a personality disorder, cuz it feels cheap. Its easy to just throw a label on them and call it a day, but its harder to write them in a way where they would be diagnosed with ASPD yknow?

Like for example, you can say a character has anxiety, and boom, theres a new trait. But are you able to show this in your character without using the word "anxiety"? With ASPD, or any personality disorder, you need to be able to show this characters habits and mindsets and behaviours without having to use the label "ASPD".

I think the best representation of a character with ASPD I have seen in Dr. House from House MD. I was absolutely amazed by how much I could relate and how accurate it was to how I experience, and have seen others act, with ASPD. And the best part is that they don't even say he has ASPD until way later in the show, but that doesn't change a single thing about how he has acted up until that point.

The main thing about cluster B personality disorders is that there is a maladaptive and dysfunctional way of thinking and acting ingrained into this person. And the way they view things and behave actively causes them issues in their relationships, social settings, work, etc. It differs wildly for everyone though, but the one thing that is pretty much the same for everyone with ASPD is that their core fear is being controlled, and they value self-preservation above everything else. It's them against the world, and they are constantly grasping for power, control, and social dominance in order to protect themselves.

So some questions you can ask about your character is:

1. How do they experience empathy and remorse? ASPD is known to be a disregard for others and rules that actively causes issues in their life. In what ways do they disregard others feelings/rights, and do they feel bad about this? If they do feel remorse, what overrides this to make them keep acting in anti-social ways?

2. ASPD is a disorder. It causes a lot of issues in a persons life, especially with the law, authority, and hurting peoples feelings. In what ways does your character suffer from their behaviour and ways they think/view the world?

3. How do they view the world? What do they value the most? What are they willing to do to protect themselves, and how do they respond to perceived threats? ASPD is known for reactive aggression, where they will respond with hostility at a perceived threat (even if there wasn't actually one, they often take ambiguous remarks as hostility)

4. ASPD symptoms must have also been present in childhood (symptoms of conduct disorder shown before the age of 15). What was your character like as a kid? What caused them to act out? Who were the primary influences in their development, and how did that influence who they are today/how they think?

Remember that people with ASPD are often rude, harsh, callous, insensitive, and lack a proper moral code. They may act hostile towards anything that feels like control, especially being told what to do, or having rules to follow, including social norms like morality, political correctness, manners, and empathy. They often look out for themselves before they even think about looking out for others, and they are willing to do anything and put anyone down or manipulate a situation to protect themselves.

People with ASPD are often good at making excuses for themselves and avoid punishment for their actions, or completely disregard consequences and repeat their mistakes over and over again. This is partially due to a mindset of "you can't tell me what to do/you can't control me/fuck you". There is a lot of defiance.

And of course please remember that ASPD is a spectrum, and there are mild to extreme cases, and it presents differently in everyone. The main thing is that it causes distress and dysfunction in the persons relationships and life because of their disregard for rules and others. And that they fear being controlled, and value self-preservation.

And while people with ASPD are usually insensitive assholes (love ya), we also are people. We are human beings, not problems. We are human beings, not pricks. So make sure to write your character with hobbies and interests and redeemable traits and with positive qualities as well. Dont have their entire character written revolving around the idea of ASPD. People are complex, and there is much more to someone than their disordered behaviour/mindsets.

Also what you said about your character being very apathetic, you could tie that in to a lack of care/disregard for others which Im sure you were already planning on doing. But also remember that ASPD isn't just a quiet, apathetic, emotionless robot disorder. In reality, ASPD is pretty loud. Its angry, and destructive, and aggressive. Cluster B PDs are classified as emotionally unstable and erratic, and ASPD is no different. So make sure you remember that while he may not care about others, apathy/lacking empathy isn't a criteria for ASPD (though its heavily correlated). Check out the DSM-5 criteria and make sure your character qualifies. Also, you don't get diagnosed with ASPD just cuz you think antisocial thoughts. You get diagnosed cuz of the way you behave and interact with others/the world, and the problems that causes you. Most people with ASPD will be diagnosed through the legal system. So make sure you show the antisocial tendencies of your character, as I mentioned before with separating them from the label.

I may be cringe but I am now specter both irl and in Roblox LMAOO This post will be more like a umm diary since I'm usually very bad at interacting!! I want to write my experiences on stuff sometime! I can't draw fanart that much due to comms nowadays so this could be my fandom contribution of some sort!!

Also, this cosplay was for my school festival! Finding Arknights fans in my school was a challenge but I was blessed to meet this Silverash cosplayer that I was so excited I ended up looking so awkward

this was also my first cosplay and I'm surprised no one recognized who I was lol so I feel a little safe posting this publicly... Makeup truly is a wonderful thing.. I feel confident since I kinda look like specter with it!!!! I LOVE SPECTEERRRR

Also the School festival was fun! It was almost like an actual con! This makes sense since this is an art school but there's no fan merch >.<;;. However, what I love about it is the merch that I see is all original works that I wish I could just buy them all!! It's just I can see the amount of love and hard work poured into their goods that I want to take all of those feelings with me back at home despite not having much space.... Also, my money is quite limited it may take more than what I earn to buy everything ack..... Next year maybe I should open up a booth myself too.. I want to sell some art books so I'll need to form a circle! I made friends though which was my initial plan for this event so I'm happy!!! Only friends is hands down for me the best gmmtv bl this year. Not only they're not going the typical romcom bl route like 'enemies to lovers', 'always bickering but one person secretly like the other one', 'going on a vacation together', 'stuck up in the same bedroom', etc etc. They're not afraid to be different, they're not afraid to try something new. Every single episode is intense and make us curious about how the story gonna develop next week. There's no single boring episode. And all of the guest appearance is shocking but also make sense at the same time.

Talking about how special OF, one of the reason why they're so stand out is because of their characters. Every single character are so well written, they have their own flaw and their up and down moment. They're messy and f*cked up, one time you love them, but another time you hate them, all of them are complicated but that's what makes them so relatable at the same time. Not only the 7 main characters, but even the side character like Boeing (oh gosh I love how pathetic he is), April, Plug, Yo, Atom, Gap, Dan, literally all of them stand out in their own way.

We started by liking Mew, Ray, Nick, Sand, Chuem and despise Top and Boston (I still hate Boston anyway lmao), but ended up loving Top and sometimes Boston. There's also a time when we hate Mew, Ray, Nick, Sand, Chuem and liking Top and Boston.

There's a time when we questioning their decision, there's a time when we feeling bad about their life, there's a time when we worried about them. Everyone is so multi-dimension, complicated and so well written. And of course it couldn't be done without amazing actor and actress.

Force, Book, First, Khaotung, Neo, Mark, Lookjun and all of the side cast is doing a great job. In my opinion, Book and Khaotung are truly nailed their performance. I really love how versatile Book is, how different he is not only from his character in another series but also how different he potray Mew in the beginning and Mew in the end of the series (maybe it'a because Mew is my favorite character, I already make a different post about how great his character is).

And we can't deny how Khaotung is a phenomenal actor. Every single character that he played is match perfectly to him. And it's also applied to Ray. His life is messy and his mental is not stable, but Khaotung could deliver all of his emotion perfectly.

First has his own charm. Sand is charismatic, cool, the calmest character and I think First is the perfect choice to play Sand. And ofc, he and Khaotung has undeniable chemistry. Sand and Ray's relationship is the most intense one, and we've drawn so much to their romance because of it. First and Khaotung's acting match each other perfectly.

I love how Force could potraying Top as someone who's fierce but also soft at the same time. He is strong but also vulnerable at the same time. And we can't deny how great his chemistry with Book, from Enchante to A Boss and A Babe to Only Friends. All of their chemisty is great and I love how sweet their lovey dovey moments are.

And I'm so so so proud of Neo. Boston is different from himself and his usual character and Boston is definitely one of the most difficult character to play. He's carefree, doesn't care of other people except himself, and I think Neo's acting is slowly develop each time he appear in a series.

Nick is the first Mark's main role. But just how he stole viewers' heart with Tiwson in MSP, Nick also stole viewers' attention. Nick is the 'hopeful romantic' and the most insecure character. Just like Neo, Nick is so different from Mark in real life and I LOVE how Mark could potray Nick perfectly. And even though, I could never imagine before how he and Neo being paired up (I mean like it's the most absurd combination at first lmaoo) but suprisingly they have a great chemistry.

And lastly Lookjun, the only female main role. But, even though Chuem is the only female main character, she still stand out and not outshadowed by other characters, But I still hate gmm for not make her appear more. There's so much we haven't see about her character. AND OH MY GOD, I LOVE HER AND NONNIE'S DYNAMIC (gmm, I begging you can we have their own gl series next year?)

AND I LOVE THE ENDING SO MUCH. Even though there's something that could done better, but I love how realistic the ending is. Every single main characters develop into a better person (Yes, even Boston. I mean at least he apologize to Mew). Not every friendship will last forever and you entitled for your own trauma. So Mew's decision to not want continue being Boston's friends anymore is valid. And I love how Nick choose himself over other person.

In conclusion, Only Friends is one of the best gmmtv's work. They deserve all the hype from the very first trailer. AND I'm not joking when I said I don't need season 2, I think the ending is already enough (even though I'm sooo seated for side story, maybe about Boeing please? Or Boston's life in New York? lmaoo). We need more adult messy story like this, 3 Will Be Free or even like Friend Zone. So gmm, maybe Only Friends gl version for next year, please?

Parsley- cologne but not the kind that's hard on your nose. Super pleasant

Gillis- Sweaty but not like. Nasty BO sweat. It's more like how you'd smell after standing in the sun for a while. Also axe (but he doesn't overdo it though he puts on a reasonable amount) and shampoo. Overall pleasant!

Mirphy- I think she'd smell like conditioner and fresh laundry. I don't feel like she wears perfume.

Putunia- Like a kid that's been playing outside all day. Just. Grass and sun. I don't have anything else to say.

Borbra- Dried roses and birds. Nothing else to say here.
