Hello to all our Linked Universe besties :3

We recently started writing a fanfic about LU! It’s based on Wild being able to talk to Hylia in the games. With her ability to talk to Hylia through the statues she becomes Hylia’s messenger.

This also takes place after TOTK.

So far we have 1 chapter out and a second one in the works. (This change if we finish another chapter tonight)

Happy pride month !!

For the occasion, I wanted to draw some Fanart with my headcanons :)) As I am quite new in the LU fandom, I don't have a lot so do drop your own in comments or reblogs, I would love to widen my horizons ♪♪☆ !!

Flora: More or less, I suppose. Link— Wild has told me about you, and I have so many questions if you don’t mind!

Danny: I doubt I’ll be able to answer all of them. I actually have a question of my own.

Flora: Oh, please, you go first! I’d love to explain whatever you have to ask.

Danny: Say someone used a DNA sample from you to clone you, without using blood from anyone else. From a biological perspective, would she be your little sister or your daughter?

Flora: ...That’s an odd question. Why do you ask?

Do you think that Flora is a bit haunted by the fact that she and Wild have done this song and dance before when it comes to the Triforce and Ganon? Do you think that as soon as she seen the other heroes she was filled with this dreadful sense of knowing?

Like Flora looks at them, she sees Time and sees just how much of a toll being the Hero of Time has taken on him. She sees Sky, the very first hero and sees how burdened he looks sometimes. She takes in Wind, and sees how he's barely a teenager shouldering the world already. She notices Legend and his absolute bitterness towards the Goddesses and his fate. She notes how Hyrule always seems so worn down despite his hopeful attitude, and she gets glimpses of Warriors and the scars of war that he now carries with him. She observes Twilight and how he was torn away from his quiet village to become a beast for the Goddesses. She takes heed of Four and how his journey has left him changed and different forever in so many ways.

Flora sees them all, these heroes who were ancestors or reincarnations of one another. All of them born for the sole purpose of the Goddesses plans. All of them forced to become heroes, to fight against a fight with an evil that refuses to die. Flora looks at them and sees how they are all broken in their own ways, and then she sees Wild, her beloved knight and sees that he's joined the long line of heroes chosen by the Goddesses. Who's life will never be the same.

And then she thinks about the other variants of her. Of the other princesses who came long before her, and she can't help but wonder if they saw what she sees. Can't help but wonder if they too are haunted by the knowledge that their heroes are doomed to fight in a war that shouldn't involve them to begin with. Yet they are pulled into it each and every time.

Do you think that Flora grows to dislike the Goddesses? Because they have not only made her suffer but because they have made Wild and his brothers and their princesses suffer as well. Do you think that Flora grows to resent Ganondorf because he refuses to stay dead? Because he refuses to let them have peace?

... I want Flora to retain dragon features in Requiem/LU.

Like... scales on her neck/sides of her face.

Little horns on her head.

Inexplicably able to just float in place.

She glows in the dark like a really dim glowstick.

Does the thing with her tongue that cats do, the blep--you know the thing.

She has like zero perception of time because now she's been alive so long that time is actually an illusion to her(this could improve the longer she's human).

The time thing is double-edged, though. She goes from being like, "Huh? I literally just showered an hour ago. What do you mean it's been a week?" Straight over to, "Liiiink!!! You've been gone for days. Where were you? ... What do you mean you were only in town for half an hour...?"

Straight up forgets to eat unless Wild/Purah/Robbie/ANYONE is watching her because she hasn't needed regular food in thousands of years.

Smells everything too well. I feel like she likes chocolate and will pester you for it if she realizes you actively have some; but if you have something that's strawberry and you don't share, Hylia help you. She will know if you haven't bathed since you ate it.

She does something similar with tomatoes? If Wild suspects she's not actually eating, he just makes a tomato dish. It's like a Flora hack. She instantly remembers that food it good and she wants to eat.

Wild used to be the one Flora chased saying, "What is in your mouth?!?" But now they have to do it to each other? Flora has a habit of chewing on sundelions of all things, which I imagine to be fairly bitter.

She doesn't always scream when she's scared now. There's a 40% chance she'll screech like a very angry bird at any stray bokoblin.

Is fully able to convenewith Fi despite her dormant state since they were literally intertwined for so long. She’s better at it than Sky is. It's almost startling.

She has weirdly sharp canine teeth?

Sleeps like a dog. By that, I mean tangled in the blankets and twisted in every direction.

Her fingernails grow out in the shape of claws? She keeps them trimmed, but she would have full claws if she didn't.

She may not have the spikes anymore, but she does have a flat version of them. They're all the way down her back, along her spine. They're flat against her skin, but they feel almost like gemstones to the touch.

The making of this comic and story was very heavily inspired by CubanCracker62 on AO3 and their Tumblr @wizard-finix , I highly recommend that you check out their story on AO3, send them your support and kudos, and boost their “The Chain in TOTK” and “Linked Universe fics” series!

This comic in itself was a one-by-one project that I worked on when I could find the time for it. So if you notice how my style changes on each page, it was from weeks to a month or so of improvements in my skills (which I’m highly proud of!).

A little comic I made if the Zelda from echoes of wisdom turns out to be a completely new Zelda. I know there is a high possibility that she would just be Fable but, can you imagine if she's a whole new Zelda? We're getting a new pair joining LU the party ya'll!

Also Since EoW!Zelda is new, she doesn't know that they all have nicknames for each other yet so, Tetra tries to mess with a little bit, Dot is in on the action while the rest just watches lol, but eventually, EoW!Zelda will be told about the nicknames and gets her own as well (idk what she's going to be called, i'll just roll with what ya'll decide).

I've been binge reading the LU comics lately and i'm OBSSESSED and as well the Wisdomverse comics by @linderosse I love the idea of all the different versions of Links and Zelda in a huge crossover AU 💖 and I can't wait for echoes of wisdom to be release!

Wild's busted memory is a never-ending goldmine of head canon. Personally I head canon that Wild doesn't know when his birthday is. He tried asking Flora but she can't remember the exact date either.

"It's in in the spring, maybe the 12th or the 21st."

And of course this is a tragedy. (at this rate Wild is a synonym of tragedy.) But if you can't laugh about your trauma then what's the point.

So I imagine the chain finds out Wild doesn't know his own birthday one of two ways.

Scenario one: After being awake a whole year Wild surmises that his birthday must have passed so he's 118 now. When his age comes up in casual conversation Wild refers to himself as 118. Double takes all around as everyone realizes they missed Wild's birthday. After a quick interrogation the chain find's out Wild doesn't know his own birthday. And while he has heard of birthday parties he's not entirely sure what constitutes a birthday party. The chain's attempts to explain/demonstrate do not clear up his confusion.

Scenario two: Someone else does some math and realizes if Wild was 117 when he came out of the shrine and it's been a year then he must be 118 by now. And yet he's made no mention of a birthday.

Wild: Respect your elders. I'm 117 you know.

Legend: 118

Wild: What?

Everyone else: What?

Legend: 118. It's been a year right? You're 118?

Wild: I hadn't realize. I guess so. Well I guess I'm even older and more elderly so you should respect me even more.

Legend: You mean you don't know when you where born?

Wild: Should I?

All the other orphans in the chain that have made an educated guess about their birthday or picked a day they like: Should I?

Jeeze Legend, it's not that weird.

(Flora does find out Wild's birthday. She spend weeks scouring old records in the guard houses to find Wild's recruitment paperwork. This idea may or may not have been Warrior's idea. As a captain he knows a thing or two about paperwork.)
