I'm donating the approximately 15-20 inches of hair I acquired in lockdown to the Little Princess Trust to help young people dealing with hair loss from cancer. Any donations or even signal boosts would be appreciated 💜

Hey, I'm Kyle and I'm reaching out for support
In August, I'm shaving my hair and donating it to the Little Princess Trust, and I would love to raise £550, the amount it costs to make a wig. Anything extra goes towards other wigs and research into treatments.
I've been growing it for 3 years, and last time I measured it was at 20"
Any donations and shares are greatly appreciated 💜

Hey guys. So I’ve finally set a date to cut my hair (Tuesday the 20th of February) and pass it on to the Little Princess Trust and I’ve created a JustGiving page to fundraise and help a wig be made out of the hair I’m donating. I’d be immensely grateful for any donations to this charity and will post pictures once I have cut my hair!

I love the college of winterhold. everyone there is casually deranged and there's like an alarming number of students and staff who threaten you immediately when they meet you. it's always one of the first questlines I do. which makes it even funnier when you get made the arch-mage of the college. I'm level 12 and got through this questline knowing exactly 3 spells. what do you mean you want me to lead the college. this school CANNOT be an accredited institution

Commissioned the amazing @magua-vida to draw my original Princesses, The Dancer & The Dream! I'm absolutely delighted with how they came out, they both look so pretty and bursting with personality!
For anyone who doesn't want to click through, you get the Dancer if you unlock the Princess's cuff & die of a heart attack, making her flighty but concerned, fussing over your health & safety. The Dream is Dancer's unique Chapter 3, who you get if you fall asleep in the cabin with Dancer fussing over you, and is smotheringly protective to the point of aggression & possessiveness while acting manipulatively sweet & fragile.
She just wants to take care of you... even (or especially) if it means chaining you up to keep you safe.

Oh, let the night mourn that which is forever out of its reach.
Nightmare Moon
It's kind of a headcanon of mine that Lunas coat doesn't actually turn fully black but instead just darker with a velvety/satin kinda twist to it, so only the lightest parts show her natural blue. Really gives the 'lost in shadows' vibe.
This one has murdered both the paper and my wrist. So I really hope you enjoy the result haha
Here's the lineart because I really enjoy how it turned out despite my shaky wrist:

Rewatched Princess and the Frog today and honestly it feels more like a celebration of Disney's 100 years than Wish. A classic fairy tale respun in interesting ways while still being undeniably Disney? Check. A traditional story with modern twists and a (narratively) strong female protagonist? Check. A return to 2D animation in a time when the medium was dying out? Check. Hell, it even takes place in the same time period (1920s) that Walt Disney released the first animated feature film and started a hundred years of magic. There are multiple references to older Disney movies, from classics like Pinocchio and Sword in the Stone to (then) recent films like Aladdin and The Little Mermaid. It features the fucking wishing star! In a more narratively sound manner than Disney's actual 100th year celebration!
And even beyond that, Princess and the Frog feels like it pays tribute to the magic of magic - the power of believing in stories, of having a dream, of working hard to reach your happy ending while never losing sight of what's really important. There is so much effort put into this movie and it shows: the animation is gorgeous, the story is creative and structurally sound, and behind the scenes reveals that the producers put their backs into making sure both the African American aspect and the New Orleans cultural aspect were accurately depicted. It was the first Disney movie in over a decade to return to the Broadway musical format, and they literally had to dust off the abandoned 2D art tools because the company hadn't used them since 2004.
Princess and the Frog was a labor of love through and through, a heartfelt tip of the hat to Disney's legacy while still being its own story. I don't know what could be more celebratory of Walt Disney's dream than that.

It takes some time to find the inner Luz.
The rooms they walk into clearly housed memories, once, but the bookshelves and the walls are now blackened. The hallways of the castle are cold and empty, devoid of statues and tapestries, lacking places to hide.
Hunter thinks she must be hiding, though. He finally pushes on a loose brick in a place he recognizes, opening a secret passageway they discovered as kids.
And there she is.
She's swapped her royal garb for the loose-fitting t-shirts and jeans of the human realm. But what Hunter notices first are the burns.
You're hurt.
Then the shape of the injuries resolves: not just random patches of black char and red-blistered skin.
Handprints.
Fingers clamped around her wrist. The shape of a palm against her upper arm, where he must have dragged her through the portal. A thumbprint on her throat, blisters on the side of her neck, where he must have grabbed her when she fought back. When she looks up, Hunter sees a burn on her jaw, matching his own oldest scar, where Belos must have struck her.
Fury and guilt and pain rise in him. He tastes acid in the back of his throat.
But Luz isn't afraid of him. Her initial startled flinch relaxes almost immediately into familiarity. She pushes herself to her feet, leaning against the stone for support, and reaches out.
Hunter hesitates. "I don't want to hurt you."
"You won't," Luz says, touching his cheek. "You couldn't. Please. Help me."

Stack for a Cause!!
Purple, yellow, and white, for Little Princess Trust
Book Community do your thing and please help me raise some funds for Little Princess Trust.
They help young people up to 24 years old with free wigs. I'm donating my hair in August, it's currently at 20 inches. It costs £550 to make a wig, so that is my goal, but I'd love to hit £1k+. Any extra helps with providing more wigs and to help fund research into making treatments kinder.
You don't have to be in the UK to donate!!
If you donate, and if you can't, please reblog this to get this around. The fundraiser is running for 4 months.
You can donate here!!

for the millionth fucking time, the difference between the princesses and the party is so obvious unless you're being pedantic
"We're not so different, you and I," is such a bullshit trope when one side is trying to wipe out existence itself
like yes the party are still main characters and inherently selfish but you know what the real difference is? the reason why the party can't be the same as the princesses?
because they love people who aren't.
thats the whole point. ylfa would never want to erase her grandmother. pinocchio would never want to erase his father. rosamund is the only character who doesn't have another character of her story that she would do anything for, but her whole story is about wanting and searching for that kind of love.
the princesses have people they loved, sure, but they don't care about trying to save them. for all cinderella is upset about her mother, she'd rather erase her from existence than try to save her, because her nihilism has overwhelmed her love. snow white is alone. rapunzel is alone. la bête is alone. they may have loved, once, but now all they care about is erasing their pain.
and thats understandable, and I think everyone who has dealt with trauma and abuse has a phase where they have to grapple with that kind of numbness, but I think the whole point of the story is that eventually you have to move past that
I believe, ultimately, love will be what inspires mira and hopefully elody to turn away from the daughters of the crown. because they have people they love in these worlds, and even their memories are worth preserving.
