i think bill would be big on “get him back” by olivia rodrigo. he’d scream that shit from the roof of the mystery shack when hes going thru it w ford. the bridge is deeply applicable to him, but mabel with all her media literacy bites her tongue in regards to the fact that the verses are most DEFINITELY more applicable to ford.
mabel would be very up-to-date on all the pop singer breakups lore. she knows who broke up with who and all the reasons, with her own analytical nuanced takes on why specific celeb couples didn’t work out. it’s her fnaf lore, if you will. bill rolls his eyes at this, as he believes that artists these days just aren’t as tortured as they used to be. mabel chastises his (half joking) suggestion to rectify that.

I don't remember if you answered this question, but did you go to art school or are you self-taught? Have you studied from YouTube videos?
nah, I never did art school. I learned a few things from books when I was a kid and got signed up for a short summer art class one time, since I was thinking about being a professional artist and my parents were trying to help me along. I learned how to use digital art programs from tutorials when I was a teenager, but I haven't used tutorials much besides that. pretty much everything I know has been from observing other artists online and experimenting. so yeah, I guess that means I'm self-taught, haha.
I went to school for music and vocal performance, but I could tell a long story about the university I went to, how they weren't really qualified to train musicians and how I dropped out. I've already been working professionally as a performer for 7 years, working with a private teacher and as a teacher myself, and I have tons of experience that I never would've gotten at school, so it's all working out really well.
#this is a tirade but I think that college singing programs are generally pretty flawed#there are educational elements to being a singer but experience is SUPER important and colleges give you next to no experience#and you're so freaking busy in college that you have zero time or energy to even practice your craft#like the reason young artist programs exist is because they don't do that stuff in college#people spend a load of money on a college education that will make them fill their degree with useless GEs and electives#and then they have to spend even more money getting actual necessary stage experience#uh oh. I'm having opinions again#barring that college kind of sucked for me specifically lol#school and I didn't get along#asks

there is a very specific image in my head of early-mid 20’s iwaizumi hajime
#iwaizumi x reader#and he’s the guy taking on an internship in his senior year with minimum load for his classes#bc he’s planned it all out since starting college#you see him in parties because he has the time & he works so hard it’s only right he plays hard too#every time you lock eyes he gives you a small smile#there’s an air about him that isn’t cocky but isn’t too shy; a comfort that settles into his skin like he’s sure of who he is#—of what he wants & it definitely isn’t hauling up his drunk friends and a few acquaintances up his car#but some of them are your friends and you’re helping him so maybe it isn’t so bad#he drops you off with your roommate and you rarely see him after#until you spot him at some bar (again) and he’s wearing a tight fitting polo (it’s his uniform you later notice)#it’s a year or two after your graduation and when you lock eyes across the room there’s something so familiar yet wholly different#he’s confident now & maybe a little flirty too when he tells you he’s working as an assistant to shadow one of his mentors#you catch up for the rest of the night and your friends have long since gone ahead#he still knows what he wants and it’s to bring you home—not that way (not yet); you’re a little suspicious because#you know there’s /something/ but he drives you home like a gentleman. without really trying anything (and maybe part of you wishes he did)#it’s iwaizumi though and he knows what he wants—to ask you out properly (one he’s been thinking about since chance encounters in uni)#and he’s hoping that when he asks you can tell just how much he likes you#hajime#i want him so bad im crying#there is a whole workd of backstory to this but i got lazy typing it#shotorus.bubble

I made Emmeline in 2020 can you guys believe it it’s been nearly 5 years!! I was really into crosshatching in 2020 which is crazy because I’d never have the patience to do that now. And I was drawing on DRAWCAST which, despite being sold as an app for artists, had perhaps one of the worst drawing UI ever created. But there’s something nostalgic about it and how pixelated every piece would turn out. I mean I spent my entire teenage years on it, it shaped me as a person and I met some really cool art friends. Too bad Daniel Cota SUCKS and planned to revive it only as an NFT maker. Boooo. I’ll never return!
#whenever I talk about drawcast it feels like a fever dream#but the community was genuinely pretty great (minus a few Incidents) and it was the most supported I think I ever felt as an artist#tbh if I didn’t randomly download drawcast that fateful day when I was 14 I probably wouldn’t even BE an artist#chat I crave attention I’m gonna be real#also for my non drawcasters out there that weird line at the bottom occurs because any time you viewed art#it would automatically load a speed paint?? the only way to not get the bar was to download it from your own gallery#but sometimes you had to delete the app and redownload it because it would get really glitchy#which would in turn remove all art from your gallery!! how fun#we affectionately called it ‘glitchcast’ because it would regularly just delete your art or corrupt files#my art#digital art#procreate#artists on tumblr#digital illustration#illustration#original art#my ocs#doodle#art#drawing#redraw#old art#old art redraw#original character art#oc#oc artwork#character design#original character
