Can you elaborate on the Jason in Titans Tower was a hallucination/dream theory :0c? I've never heard of it before and it sounds interesting!

I have a longer post about it somewhere but the overall gist is Tim used to hallucinate alot, Jason never actually mentions Tim at all throughout utrh, his reasons for attacking Tim are very weird compared to everything he'd been doing so far, the things the titans say about jason are weird considering how they went on a couple missions together when jason was robin and he's meant to be in new York terrorising Dick at this time whys he gone on a road trip to the other side of the contry conclusions Tim was hallucinating

An AU where Lucifer and Adam fall in love after Lilith fled the garden yet went back to convince Adam to join them, in this universe, Lilith convinced Adam and he joined their revolution. Lucifer falls in love with Adam during their time planning, he tells Lilith and she understands. Eventually with time heaven finds out about this whole entire thing, including Adam and Lucifer's now growing relationship/ family. And lastly Lucifer is given a hard gut wrenching choice. To pick choosing to save Adam and their son instead of keeping his memories of falling in love with Adam. The consequences of chosing this option is that both Lucifer and Adam would forget their history together as if it never existed, the gain from this? Heaven doesn't have to get rid of Adam and Abel.

Eve basically raised Abel as her own without the knowledge that she did not birth him unlike Cain. Adam continues being the chosen one to father all humanity alongside Eve, his wife. And ends up growing resentful towards Abel thinking he was the result of Eve’s and Lucifer's affair as Abel looked and acted identical to Lucifer. Eve obviously denied everything but Adam was too blinded by rage and betrayal to believe her word for it. Eve knew Abel was Adam's but deep inside she felt no genuine connection to Abel like a mother would have to their child. But she loved Abel regardless.

And as for Lucifer, he has no knowledge of Abel being his son neither does he hold any feelings for Adam. He remembers nothing.

The moment Adam dies however, Lucifer regains his memories, immediately, his heart shattered into pieces. And also, he so desperately wants to reconnect with his son afterwards.

one of things that drive me insane about the grisha trilogy is the fact that nikolai consistently is a non-factor in the political calculations of both, the darkling and his father. even genya, whose job is to spy on the tsar's inner circle, is like "it's just nikolai, they call him puppy, he surprised everyone by joining the army and then left to study in kerch or something, who cares".

meanwhile nikolai in question:

was a major of the first army. a senior officer one rank away from colonel, and two ranks away from major-general!

was person no. 2 in his regiment, the one in charge of 2000+ men daily. and, considering how much colonel raevsky and his soldiers seem to love him, managed them well.

was a decorated war hero of the struggling nation perpetually at war with its neighbours.

what i mean is that there absolutely should have been the party of grand duke nikolai aleksandrovich at the court (re: the succession), opposing the party of tsarevich vasily, the official heir. the people who want him to be ravka's next tsar, bastardy allegations be damned for the good of the country.

it could have been such an easy way to explain why nikolai was exiled sent to study abroad — his military record would have made him too popular compared to his brother. and it could have explained why nikolai is so sure of himself in siege & storm: he already has his own political party, and alina throwing her support behind him simply completes the puzzle.

also, when tatiana called nikolai "puppy" in ruin &rising, i was like. m'am, hate to break the news to you, but your cute puppy hasn't been that for the last five or so years. by now he is actually a wolfhound with very long and very sharp teeth.

(very much not the point of that post, but when i find time to work on my pre-canon!darkolai fic series, i usually imagine the ravkan political landscape before alina as "the army party" (nikolai, the darkling, senior officers of both armies + probably some diplomats, who also see what's going on with shu-han and fjerda) vs "the court party". by the shadow & bone events, the first splits into nikolai's moderates & aleksander's radicals, and the latter became irrelevant after vasily's death.)

Can we spare a moment to appreciate how sweet Regen One Shockstar and their relationship is?

Regen One is a continuation of the original Marvel(US) comics.

By Regeneration One, They had both lost their bodily autonomy, Starscream didn't really have much awareness and could not speak anything coherently after being essentially lobotomized by Megatron and Shockwave couldn't tether himself from the ship because it had become a part of him.

They were both in horrible situations all around and helped eachother regain their autonomy, Shockwave removed the blocks Megatron had placed in Starscream's mind, but he did not have complete autonomy himself and required a pilot, and when Starscream volunteered to be that he did not once doubt that he wasn't being insincere at all and trusted him. Shockwave, somebody who is well known for prioritizing his logic over everything else trusted the one known notoriously for being a self serving backstabber knowing Starscream would not try to betray him and Starscream not disappointing his trust at all. And in return Starscream while being possessed by Underbase helped separate Shockwave from the Ark's body.

I think there is inherently something so sweet that this is one of the first Shockwaves who was actually emotionless at the start and throughout the series he gradually started to learn it, he actually sounds really excited to work with Starscream it's not even subtle, they were on and off partners in crime essentially.

By the time everything is over and done with, and the place was about to be destroyed Shockwave willingly with no ulterior motive decided to go back and save Starscream before they got into the ship and left, an action that surprised even himself, the first time he acknowledged that he ever felt emotion.

I am obsessed with this particular iteration of their dynamic they make me ill, their relationship can be everything you can think of whether you see them as friends, Qplatonic or more, the bond is there. It's someone who doesn't understand emotions and prioritizes logic and someone who has rarely ever had a geniune connection with anyone because he has a habit of self sabotaging every relationship he's ever had and has trouble understanding relationships outside of self gain. None of them really understand the need of forming connections besides for their own benefit yet they were still able to seamlessly work together.

It's two selfish people who for the most part prioritize their own self's survival over everyone else's, yet Shockwave still went back for Starscream. And this extended to others too as they later scoured Cybertron to see if anyone else was alive too and Starscream saved Ravage from zombie Soundwave. They were both broken people by that point, who have had a long history in the war and have fought alongside eachother for their own needs, by the time the dust settles they don't really have any fight left in them to continue the cruelty and decided to elope on the ship to have a vacation and help other species find peace, like they've discovered in eachother and their unconventional situation.

And for once that's enough. Their relationship is just so very sweet, they went from being colleagues to allies/partners to frenemies to straight up friends at the end, they're not even just tolerating eachother they geniunely enjoy the other's presence and come on it's sweet.

They ended up in an actually healthy relationship too. This is one of those ships where I'll say "you know what? Good for them"

That, and Ravage literally thinks they've both lost their minds because they've suddenly turned a 180 and became peace ambassadors after everything, honestly I don't blame him lmao. Imagine knowing these two and out of nowhere they suddenly start speaking for peace and unity, the three of them are the last decepticons alive, Starscream and Shockwave aren't really following the need of keeping the memories of the faction alive anymore so it's just Ravage.

it's really interesting to me that one of the first jobs ENA completes (on an initial playthrough, at least) in Dream BBQ—collecting pets for Shoryo—has you questioning whether the pets are "babies" or "tonight's dinner," considering the two possible routes to take in the game.

in one route, ENA makes her way towards an orb in the sky containing something that resembles a fetus. she does this by obtaining the Motherboard and then the Humanboard, about which the Shaman says this:

the pets might be babies.

in the other route, ENA attends the Purge Event, where characters are waiting to be eaten.

the entrance to the Purge Event looks like a face, with the doors being a mouth and the toll booths forming the eyes. additionally, to get the Taxi Driver's head, which is needed in order to reach the event, ENA travels through a network of gut-like caves.

the pets might be tonight's dinner.
