Just had a funny idea for writing a story:
I write a story but tumblr gives me the ideas, plot, setting, and theme. Comment on this post(or send an ask to me) to add something to this hypothetical story. It can be ANYTHING. If I get more than 100 combined likes/comments. I will fully write and do a little art for this "story"

The Forest Clan, Vierasquez (Verasuke in the past)
The Water Clan, Wainaki (Ikenami in the past)
The Earth Clan, Dahmia (Daichi in the the past)
-Many centuries ago during the rise of the Nighlok five clans rose to power with their usage of Symbol Power, Master Xandred kept a stronghold against the families but with their combined strength they were able to banish him away into the Netherworld fully. Upon doing so an age of miracles begun with the families utilizing Sybol Power and their elements to develop their own rule amongst the land (Red based in order and construction, Pink oriented around history and the relics of the world, Green in nature and the advancements such had to offer, Blue with growth and creation and Yellow in agriculture). However tensions amongst the clans began to brew and after numerous conflicts three out of the five decided to spread out into the world hoping for better opportunities with their legacies, while some may be in ruin other have been able to prosper happily even till this day.

What are Mutabilis Demons?
Mutabilis demons, or shifters, are a race of shapeshifting demons that were originally a single devil named Mutabilis.
Mutabilis's core was found and shattered when they sided with the nephalem daughter of Truth and Lust named Shade, who tried to overthrow the gods and establish herself as the only god of New Earth. (She will be her own post)
The shattered pieces became the cores for new demons, making them the youngest race on New Earth (all the shifters that are main and secondary characters are the third and youngest generation).
They are untrusted, especially in the after realms, due to both their history with Shade when Mutabilis was whole and the fact that many have formed cults that worship the imprisoned nephalem. This leads to unfair discrimination, especially when it comes to them taking positions of power, where one can be seen as untrustworthy for even knowing a Shade worshipper regardless if they themselves take part.
Shifters come in many shapes, sizes, and forms. They are so diverse that there are only three defining traits for them
1) they will typically have at least one body part that is disconnected from the rest of their body, but still functions like an attached limb. This helps with energy preservation and management
2) they have a crystal-like core they can revert to if their body is greatly damaged or they lose too much energy. Shattering this core will kill the demon instantly
3) their blood can come in many colors and will float in a way similar to water when it's in space
They can combine to create stronger shifters, though this is not the way they reproduce nor is it related to how they reproduce, it's an ability that comes from the fact that they originated as a single being and therefore can become one with another. Many of the cults of Shade even believe that combining enough Shifters would make them whole again and revive Mutabilis in way.
There is little known about them since they are relatively new to the world, but biologists on new earth do their best to learn how these curious demons work

Exiles Reach Shaman Lore
A Shaman’s Duty & Ghost Wolf Form
And how it reveals the important job a Shaman has in the world and how you can use it in your stories and enhance your RP.
-----
Each class gets its own little bit of flavor for Exiles Reach. Quests specifically dedicated to expanding on the lore or giving slight context to their power. One bit of lore that was removed ages ago was the quest to gain your Ghost Wolf form as a shaman.
The Ghost Wolf is something I see interpreted and handled many different ways, some of which (while perfectly fine to enjoy how you wish) a bit inaccurate to the nature of a shaman’s ability to connect to the spirits. This isn’t really at the fault of the players, but the game itself failing to communicate the lore and making people have to guess or make up how it works. Not to mention we’ve seen the ghost wolf form used only a few times by characters in game and varies from medium to medium (In-Game, Heroes of the Storm, TCG, Offical Concepts, Hearthstone). So I can understand why there would be a little bit of a mix up.
But this isn’t about the Ghost Wolf form in general, this is covering the specific lore and it’s context on Exile’s Reach and how I would approach this form the view of RP and Story Telling. I get detailed, but anything to help give my take on Shamanic story telling. You can get a lot, from a little!
(Yes this is long, but you can’t say I’m not thorough when wanting to help RPers see how much you can expand your character by paying attention to things that apply to you!)
So let’s begin:
Tumblr media
As your shaman reaches the Ogre Ruins with the rest of your stranded crew, you will see a Ghost Wolf sitting close to the fire with a quest called:
A Shaman’s Duty.
◆ Upon greeting him, his quest text immediately addresses to you: “Your companions cannot see me. Only you, for you have trained in the ways of the shaman.”
This sets the stage for you as a shaman to what can, and cannot , be experienced to those untrained in the shamanic ways. Meaning that, unless your character has/had a sudden spiritual awakening, by any circumstance, that more often than not...unless they are in tune and connected to the spirit realm , they will not see , hear or experience the spirits. (This does not include instances where a non spiritually in tune character was given a powerful experience to see spirits where they otherwise would not.)
This Ghost Wolf purposefully reached out to a young and upcoming shaman through the spirit realm and onto the waking realm without anyone noticing but the shaman.
◆ He then explains his dire request for communicating with you. That: “The necrotic energies of this island have ensnared my pack. I need your aid to free them.”
We know in the story of this island that there are many volatile forces at work from Ogres, harpies and quilboar. At this point we know the ogres are pulling at necrotic energy with the intention of raising a powerful dragon from the dead.
This is where the name of the quest makes sense. A Shaman’s Duty. We have now established the important role you have as a shaman and what it is your character will often be faced with. As a person connected to the spirits and with nature, it is your duty to ensure that dark, corruptive and dangerous forces keep their grip off of the elements and the spirit realm. You are going to be among the gifted few tasked with making sure that the sacred balance is not harmed and that the wise spiritual beings (who cannot fix matters like this alone) are not tortured and lost forever.
This also shows the inherent impact magic akin to necromancy and other necrotic related powers have on the spirit plane and why shamans are right in distrusting it. A good thing to note is that this is a massive ritual that would reach farther than one person raising a dead body. Either way, it shows the harmful effects.
◆ Lastly in his quest text he states: “Gather veil blossom from the surrounding area. Burn them on the campfire and  breath deep of their smoke. Then you will see my packmates and release them from their bonds.”
This is now where we establish the common traditions that will more or less span across most shamanic cultures and why the Ghost wolf have established themselves as a sacred piece in this universe’s shamanic practice. The Ghost Wolf imparted wisdom unto the up and coming shaman on what natural substance will elevate their mind and spiritual self through smoke inhalation. This establishes a sacred herb to see to the spirit plane and is a resource for shaman to seek out. We also now see the importance of the common practice of smoking/burning with the intent of ritual use.
Your shaman now has a sacred source of other worldly information about what is around them and see first hand how the spirits communicate their wisdom. Many shaman come from nomadic, nature based, and clan like cultures where travel and connection to the world will be a major point of religious importance. So the ritual use of herbs and nature based materials will be a key function for a shamans on going practice both in aiding the spirit realm and their community.
Tumblr media
After you accept your mission given to you by the Ghost Wolf, he speaks to you, with a wise masculine voice that is calm and paired with a ghostly echo.
Tumblr media
He cautions you on the complicated and strange nature when peering into the spirit world. Not all can handle being able comprehend a world of the dead and the spirits coinciding with the living.
Before you leave, Warlord Breka Grimaxe, takes notice of your behavior. Her tone indicating the importance of your action and a slight sense of intrigued reverence.
Tumblr media
Warlord Breka Grimaxe is an orc warrior and that is important to know for this context. One thing many people seem to not connect is that someone doesn’t need to be a shaman, in order recognize the spirits in a religious or faith based manner. A human can pray to the Light and not have to ascend to a priesthood, so an orc can seek for a sign from the Ancestors without becoming a shaman.
Shamans hold an important role in the culture of orcs, and the Horde as a whole. Her being a witness to a shaman directly gaining wisdom from a spirit she cannot see is a moment of quiet awe inspiring reverence. It will vary from culture to culture, but the Horde over all have a majority shamanic based leaning culture with exception of Elves.
The Alliance side has a much different reaction to you speaking to an unseen entity. The human named Captain Garrick says to you in a tone hints she finds your behavior odd, and not usual for her.
◆ “Uh, recruit? Who you were talking to?”
Humans, and Alliance as a whole, do not have the same mindset when it comes to presence of spirits. While they might have cultures where shamanism has shown itself, the Alliance largely doesn’t see *animism as a main focus of their spiritual and faith structures. The cultures themselves (dwarves, draenei, kul’tiran, pandaren) all manifest and approach shamanism for vastly different reasons and many different ways. Any version of shamanism on the Alliance will always be a little different and it is typically an uncommon sight.
It is very important to know what culture you’re playing as and how this effects them, as well as how their peers may react. EX: Draenei shaman are not exactly the most popular, even if seen as wise and helpful by some. No matter how much reverence they show to the spirits , they will always be the one going a little against the grain in the eye of popular draenei belief and customs. This will shape how you conduct your characters habits, and what you should expect depending on how you portray your shamanism to other characters of the same or different background.
The orc might be more inclined to agree to the draenei shaman.
But other draenei may see them as blasphemous. (Which might be a mindset to consider others in Alliance might have)
---
* Animism is the belief that objects, places, and creatures all possess a distinct spiritual essence.
-------
Veil Blossoms
Exiles Reach introduced a plant called Veil Blossom. The Ghost Wolf instructed you to go gather this plant in order to access sight into the spirit realm. In doing this, you are fulfilling a role as a learning shaman doing something at the request of a wise spirit, furthering your knowledge of nature and ritual practice of gathering herbs for sacred usage.
The Veil Blossom themself were found around the edge of a body water at the Ogre ruins connected to a flowing water source. It can be assumed that this plant might commonly be found around or near bodies of water (and maybe more so bodies with running water).
Tumblr media
They are depicted with the model of plant that is tall with long leaves and stalks, making it appear like a type of Reed. It has a tall red feathery cluster of flowers up top.
Tumblr media
We gain insight on this plant as we collect it for our special mission:
Tumblr media
We can assume that Veil Blossom is not unique to Exiles Reach, but is instead a plant likely found in multiple places in Azeroth. Meaning that for many, this is an annoying plant with not much usage for a majority of people. But a shaman will know it’s sacred usage thanks to the insight of the spirits. Your shaman will occasionally get to learn rare bits of wisdom like this. It’s important your shaman learns to treat substances like these with a sense of reverence or respect. They are what connects them to the spirit realm through ritual burning and will be used often in ceremonies.
These are all things your shaman can gradually learn through experience and exposure in their journey of becoming more spiritually in tune with their cultures practice.
Veil Blossom will get it’s own separate post.
[Link Placeholder]
---------
Returning to the Camp and Breathing Deep.
Now that you have your ritual plant, you toss it into the fire and immediately see a change to your surroundings. The smoke goes from dark gray to crimson and your sight takes in everything with an ethereal shift as you gain access to see the plane that exists between life and death.
It should be noted, that things in-game are usually quick for mechanics sake and to streamline questing so that it is easier. However it is not unbelievable to think that the smoke can have a fast reaction. But is important to remember context clues when knowing how to approach these details for RP as well as what we know about inhaling mind altering smoke in real life.
The Ghost Wolf instructed you to “breath deep of their smoke”. A ceremonial in take of smoke would not be instant, nor would any effects be instant (usually). Your shaman would of stood there a good few moments...as they took a long deep breath to fill their lungs and let their mind open up so that their eyes can see the unseen. Practices like this are things your shaman may find themselves doing for special ceremonies alone , with other people, or for a specific purpose. So it’s key to pay attention to the importance of this transition and show the calm reverence your shaman has as they feel themselves elevate spiritually.
Once your shaman gained access to the spirit plane, you get another reaction from Warlord Breka Grimaxe and/or Captain Garrick. Without overly explaining it, it shows again the difference in mentalities of how the Horde and Alliance view things like shamanism and spiritual contact.
◆ Warlord Breka Grimaxe (Shamanistic Culture, proud):
Tumblr media
◆ Captain Garrick (Non-Shamanistic Culture, as if recalling something):
Tumblr media
Now we have access to the spirit plane through a ritual burning of a plant that you learned through the wisdom of your ghost wolf guide.
For this moment, your shaman is given a Veiled Sight. Seeing what lingers beyond the veil. You exist in a duality of life and death, spirit and physical. You walk the land among living, but see what others cannot. A shamans job is to understand this balance, as all things in shamanism are about balance and harmony. This is an experience that drives home that a shamans job is in tune with almost every aspect life. It should be noted, that depending on skill level, not every shaman may be ready for something like this, hence why this has been a guided quest from a ghost wolf. A moment like this might be aided at the request of a teacher as well. Later on in life, this may be an occasional thing your shaman.
Tumblr media
And now we see what a gift like this reveals:
Tumblr media
The spirits of stranded and ship wrecked people who found their demise on this island. All people who had lives, families, interests and homes. Faces you may recognize, faces you may have forgotten, now before you. It could be over whelming, or it could be loving. A shaman may feel deep care and empathy for all these people, in awe that you see them and now know them. (Or it might be jarring, depending on the person and skill level.)
These spirits are all very aware of your presence. As you run past them, they face you as you move. This can be incorporated now, that a skilled shaman with experience may be able to speak with confidence that the spirits are in fact all around, and are , more often than not , very much aware of those with a spiritual gift. (If you can sense them, they might sense you.)
But again, always think of your character as a person. These experiences will all be different. Yet , it’s good to know background information to better reinforce your stories. Moving on.
----
Rescuing the Ghost Wolf Packmates
The next bits of information just reinforce that necrotic magic directly effects and harms the spirit plane, especially when done in such a large amount when referencing the ogre ritual being conducted.
A novice shaman may not be able to feel when the spirits are upset, that is a sensitivity that must be nurtured (and might always be something fluctuating). So it is important that they listen to when they are approached with news from something or someone as important as a ghost wolf , ancestor, or elemental.
For the ghost wolf pack in the veiled plane, they are all bound and immobilized with necrotic magic in the center of a formation of stone with one singular stone standing out from the rest.
Prairie dogs stand just outside the circle in the waking realm, aware that something is happening despite being unable to see it. This actually shows a good example of where shamanism blends with their ability to tap into nature magic and the wilds. A good representation of why druids and shaman often help each other in a crisis that effects the environment. (They were also seen near the lake with the Veil Blossoms)
Tumblr media
----
Speculation:
It’s important to see the use of the word ensnared, because this could imply these ghost wolves were caught on purpose, which would explain these rings of stone. It is highly possible the ogre here know of these wise ghost wolves and made cursed spirit traps to keep them in place, or its possible it could be detrimental to any spirit that gets close. But this is merely speculation. Which is what you should encourage in your shaman. To always be thinking of the why in a situation like this to better understand how the spirit realm can be corrupted. The ring, however, may be good inspiration when thinking of structures for shamanic uses.
----
Upon saving them, each Ghost wolf communicates with you vocally before running off. It shows more importance at halting large form usage of necromancy.
Ghost Wolf says: Thank you, shaman. I am in your debt.
Ghost Wolf says: The ogres' necromancy has ravaged the spirit world.
Ghost Wolf says: You must stop the ritual before it is completed.
Clear view of the circle:
Tumblr media
Close up to the large stone design:
Tumblr media
Minor speculation unrelated that may or may not have been spoken about: A lot of these magical stones, seen with shaman and druid ect, often have a hole in them. They make me think of “Hag stones” (or adder stones). Stones that have been naturally created to have a hole in them after a long time of being run over with water. The folk lore goes that they bring good luck and ward off evil, and that the hole itself is a portal to the fae realm. Looking through it might give you a glimpse of it.
When expanding on your shamanic lore and your characters practice, look at in real life examples to better get a feel of the connection to nature. Just always do your research you’re not adapting something you shouldn’t be and be mindful of the symbols you are interacting with. But this is a whole other topic.
-------
Gaining the Ghost Wolf form
Here is where we get direct confirmation of the information that has been more or less consistent on how the ghost wolf form works.
Upon returning , you approach the Ghost Wolf once more to show you have completed your task. The Ghost Wolf and his pack have been severely weakened by the ogres necromancy. They are unable to do anything to stop what is happening (A good indicator that the ghost wolves are in fact something to worry about if you mess with the spirit plane and how powerful they may be)
Tumblr media
Then, once completed, you roar/howl as you are given a blessing from this Ghost Wolf and have been gifted with the ability change your form.
They are granting their strength to help fight crimes against the spirit realm.
As a shaman, your duty is to use your gift and the blessings bestowed upon you to continue this balance between the realms.
Now, as we look at this quest. The context is important. Not every shaman was on this mission to this island, and they were not all tasked with the same mission to free the pack mates from necromancy. You must be able to see what this quest is telling you and how you can take this information and use it to tell your own story if you wish to write a story or role play your shaman gaining their ghost form.
This quest is very much in line to the original removed Vanilla quest on the basis that you proved yourself to a great and powerful spirit of the spirit realm and wild. You did this by tracking the spirit and by doing so, gained a mutual trust.
You proved to this Ghost Wolf that you were able to do right upon the  and did so with respect to the balance. You showed that you understood how important this task was and that you are capable of seeing it through.
So this means, that in order to gain the gift of a spectral form, proving yourself in the context of shamanism is key.
=Here is where the information is even more important to understand.=
The Ghost Wolf form is not like a druid form.
The Ghost Wolf form is a borrowed form.
In this quest A Shaman’s Duty, the Ghost Wolf states that he and his pack mates are giving you the last of their strength.
Tumblr media
This is directly saying, that when you use the Ghost Wolf form, you are tapping into a borrowed visage by reaching out into the spirit realm that was granted by them. You are swapping places by transitioning from physical to spectral. The shaman now becomes an embodiment of the sacred balance of the living, the spiritual and the natural.
By the Ghost Wolf giving you their strength, they will always be with you. You have proved yourself, and they are repaying their debt to you. You will use this blessing to carry out their want to stop things like necromancy in the face of the spirits.
This can open up a lot of interesting options for story when you create it. You can have a ghost wolf guide your shaman in teachings or appearing only for certain moments. If your shaman is very skilled, you might even be able to make this relationship be that these are the spirit wolves you’re calling into battle like a powerful Farseer.
You might be able to always feel the presence of this wolf when changing, or it can be symbolic that by having this blessing it will remind you of the mutual respect between you and the spirits and what wisdom you gained through them.
All of this can be used for any culture with shamanism. All you would have to do is look at it within the context of their culture and what animal would make sense for your shaman to be showing respect to. The Exile’s Reach campaign is a highly specific story, meant to show you essences of what each class does mechanically and lore wise.
Lastly, as you gain your blessing of the Ghost Wolf you get one final difference in reactions based on what Faction you’re on.
Warlord Breka Grimaxe recalls fondly of Shuja’s first connection to the spirit world. A proud and important moment for her, showing that Shuja likely had went through a lot of training and discipline to finally touch the spirit plane. As an orc, she is proud to see a successful up and coming shaman.
Tumblr media
Captain Garrick on the other hand, is only caring about the information to help their mission. She doesn’t seem to put much thought into who you were talking to, just that it at least gets the job done. By shamanism being less of a cultural thing, she cannot approach it with the same reverence as an orc would. She knows something happened (that she knows little about), and is not insulting you, but she pretty much prefers to move on by the tone of her voice.
Tumblr media
And there you have it!
This is an extremely short quest, that literally takes ...five minutes to complete.
But you can learn a lot about how you expand your character by really taking the time to see what it is you’re being told and what you’re being shown. It can be easy to just drink down information and move on, but if you really are passionate about rounding out your shaman always take time to look at quests, text and environment to help you expand your characters personal practice.
The Ghost Wolf form is one of the iconic staples of World of Warcraft, and it’s lore has been moved around a lot to where many people forget all together what the wolf spirit means to the orcish people and what shamanism means to the Horde and the Alliance.
I really love being able to show you how my mind pays attention to quests that can help expand my characters experience, and the ghost wolf form is something I’m very interested in getting into!
I hope this helps someone in expanding their ability to see the world of Azeroth through their characters eyes and realizing that with a little bit of work, you can take a little and go an extremely long way!
Aka’magosh and Spirits be with you!

Kymaer Kin Type: Vivitor
The first to be born are not the workers nor the soldiers, but rather, a doctor. In the unforgiving worlds they live on, health and healing always comes first along with evolution. This is where the Vivitor comes in. Their main job is to improve the health of fellow kymaer and scout for new land.
Their D.N.A mostly consists of raptors (dinosaurs), lions and scorpions. The raptor influences their bird-like nature and they have a keen eyesight for hunting or lookouts. The lion gives them their wild mane, ferocity and social nature, working together with whatever creature wishes to accompany them. The scorpion serves as a way to inject both cures, improvements and venom's into their target.
Their unique trait of being able to lay eggs and increase the strength of others genetically makes them an important member of their clan. Yet they still remain low on the Hierarchy chain. The can inject a toxin that causes the nervous system to react as if in immense pain. They can also extract D.N.A from a target for research purposes and for genetically improving other Kymaer.
Vivitors are very social, playful and friendly and will often make friends outside of their species, bringing home whatever it finds. Their curious nature makes them amazing scientists and explorers, since they seem to lack the fear of the unknown. They are also known to be quite violent when provoked and will attack if pushed too far. They're also a mostly honest creature rarely lying which can also lead to their colder, to the point nature.

Chapter Title Tips/Guide!
Recently, I was working on a fiction for my friend and struggled to come up with chapter title names (I adore chapters having titles. It makes them unique!). I realized something that was kind of so cool, it was crazy. So, here’s what I learned:
If your chapter title doesn’t read like a video game achievement, don’t make it your title!
And obviously, very important to note that the title should connect with the story of your chapter. Here’s a few examples (with self-ratings and self-reflection on my own titles!)...
"Two Scholars, One Good Soul”: A short story about a wizard being offered a bargain by a medicine/knowledge/poison god. The wizard also despises said god because he took away her mentor. The god is the stereotypical slick villain who gives her false promises of redemption from the end of the world. 9/10. Gives me giant lore vibes.
“Path of Tradition Beyond Measure”: A story about Hao-Yu (imugi-ink’s D&D character) who has to deal with a general from an enemy nation at the request of his master. Hao-Yu and the general get to know each other, to the point where Hao-Yu does get a little sad when the general has to return to her home-land. 4/10. Great story, don’t get me wrong, but the title I gave this one doesn’t do it justice.
“Snakes & Traitors”: A short tale about the birth of two demon brothers, one of brain and one of brawn. One of the demon brothers finds redemption among the people of Elai-terra, while the other one is firm in his beliefs and cravings for knowledge, leading him to backstab and torment the first brother in the end. 7/10. A little bland, but straightforward and non-deceptive.
Hopefully this helps someone out there as much as it relieved me of my chapter-naming stress. Have fun writing, folks!

I'd like to introduce these four, my little scringbos, my mippy doos, my blorbobibos, my eebos! information and designs are subjected to change!
okay so I'm gonna info dump a little because I constantly rant to my poly about them a lot and now I'm gonna do it here SO read below the images!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
These four! I guess I'm just gonna call them Graves Group cause she was kinda like the group orchestrater and is a very powerful witch with the ability to see, channel and communicate with the dead. She's had that power since she was a very little kid (her scar is from an accident trying to remove that power from herself). These four live in Eon City, Sports has her entire life and so has Silver, but Anon and Grave come from another city beyond the forest.
I kinda already spoke about Grave in my first bit here but she's the daughter of Enchantress Anon, a witch millions of years old who knows the ins and outs of deep, ancient arcane magic and passed knowledge down to Grave. Grave had a hard time making friends when she was a kid, her abilities developed way too quick and she would talk about her encounters with the dead. So while the other kids in class were boasting about what abilities they already had she comes in with "I met an interesting ghost yesterday. His head was torn right off his shoulders, yet I could still speak to him with nothing above his neck." and scare everyone away-
but there was a boy who always found her encounters interesting, her knowledge on every way someone could die, the horrors of the anon body. This boy was named Anon! (I'll explain what anons are briefly. (they aren't related to Tumblr anons) they are beings made of light and stardust with a Material that makes them up (thos material can be anything, Light, Color, Sheet, Electric, Matcha, ect)) Just Anon, he was born with no material, no powers of his own. He didn't have parents, either. just his siblings to care for him. They weren't even really his siblings, they were starchildren, born asexually out of pure star particles. Even without powers, or anything that he thought made him interesting, he was so spontaneous and happy, and obliviously dumb. He liked her, and the things that made her creepy to other people, he too had a fascination with ghost and the undead, but he'd be far too afraid indulging in this fixation himself. Eventually Grave introduced him to her witchcraft, and he became like her assistant!
One day while they were playing in the woods, they came across a girl that was spying on them, and was recognized to be from their classes. She was bolder, and a bit of a bully from what they've heard, but she was nothing like that. She was just loud, and her banter was playful. Sports Anon lived with her mom and younger brother at the time, and had a little sister on the way. She was reckless, a daredevil, a spirit of fire with unusual strength and the ability to materialize sports equipment out of thin air (limited to one at a time. She strayed away from anything spooky or witchy, she made up games to play with rulesets that made little sense- yet the three of them had a blast either way.
They began to hang out a lot more during school, they brought lunches to share with eachother. During one of these lunches, they spotted a new kid to the school eyeing them, and of course Sports went out of her way to sit him down with them. He was terribly shy, and quiet, it was like he didn't know how to socialize at all, but that didn't bother them. He was very observant, and smart, but he had a very one-way thought process. Silver Anon had 117 siblings, and increasing knowledge on combat. When he wasn't home, and training, he found himself loosening up to the others, even if it did seem like he was rude to them sometimes.
But that's when they were kids, and when Silver had both his eyes.
Now, today, Anon and Grave live together in an apartment (no they aren't a thing, Grave likes women and Anon likes candy), Sports still lives with her mom and now her little sister, and Silver lives in the heart of the city, the richest, most stuck up part of the city.
this was supposed to be a short post um ahahA- I'm gonna cut it here but if anyone has any questions or feedback my ask box is always open (please ask me about my characters I am begging you PLEA-)
oh I'm gonna have so much fun showcasing these poor bastards- Coffee Anon OUT!

"Gnomes are a type of benevolent beast that roam in the depths of the forests. Despite their communities being remarkably large, they are rare finds--- especially if you're looking for them... They are humanoid with fungal properties, growing and feeding similar to mushrooms. They are peaceful until threatened and their singing voices ward off malevolent beings. So if you're anything like me, bring some earplugs." --Bishop and Poppet's Guide to the Abnormal: Section 1. Beasts, pg 8

I enjoyed writing No More Masters so much, I am going to do a sequel for it! And like the last one, I want love to see your ideas.
But this time there is a twist...
All ideas I am given will inspire a secondary protagonist, which I will he doing a couple of polls based on their name, personality, lore and so on! I can't promise that I will make this one as quickly but I will get to it sometime in the future!
(Reblogs are appreciated)

Some idea for the Samurai AU
Emily's Earth Slicer.
Has two other distinct forms, one being a claw like mace with brute force when dual fighting using her spin sword.
A shovel like naginata that utilizes the sheer strength of earth to mow down enemies, compared to Jayden she's got untapped physical strength from being a part of the Dahmia Family (her clan and last name in the AU) and can rival his fire smasher when using this.

Lucifer's family
The king/Satan of hell has a wife who had two kids. They were good for a while, but the marriage became loveless and Lucifer became more disloyal, having kids with mortals more and more often.
His wife, Lilith (she/her), was the first person to become a devil through contract. So long as they remain married she retains her immortality and status, which is why they haven't split up.
Their children are Baphomet and Astaroth, twins. Baphomet (any/all) is a pacifist that helps with negotiations and mediating conflict between devils. Astaroth (he/him), is the head of the Ars Goetia, the 72 high devils that command Hell's legions.
Galacies also has his own wards; Reiaiel (he/they) is the head of the Shem HaMephorash, the angel counterpart to the Ars Goetia. Abaddon the Fallen (he/him) is his second in command in Tartarus.

Orc Lore Dive: Elder Shaman and Shaman Leadership
So there was a forum post that I answered a few days ago for someone asking what age it takes to become an ‘Elder Shaman’ so I decided to do some digging to brush up on what Elder Shaman meant and what is the difference between a shaman who is an elder and someone who is an Elder Shaman.
This is yet again, another very long form deep dive into a very niche thing. It’s long, I know, but I hope it provides some aid in some RP. Please excuse any typos or mishaps!!
So lets look at what it means to be an Elder Shaman as well as who can be one.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve seen so far, that while orcs are all going to have their own views there is an over all sense that there is respect for an elder status. Like in many cultures in the real world, respect to the people who have gone through the most and have experienced life at it’s fullest will have more respect for what they can teach the future generations.
We can assume with orcs that is the same, regardless if we’ve seen any characters look down upon those who were weaker or more advanced in age.
✦ So lets look at the title “Elder” and “Mother”.
I’m sure there far more examples than what I’ve found but these are the ones I’m using and we are going to use: Drek’thar, Ner’zhul, Nelgarm, Mother Kashur, Mother Om’ra, Greatmother Geyah and any other examples I find.
What all of these characters have in common is that they were or are in a position of leadership or something as close to leadership as one can get.
The highest level of shaman in an orcish clan, and likely other similar cultures, puts them almost on the same level of respect and leadership to the Chieftain.
✦ Lets start with Mother Kashur, the Elder Shaman of the Frostwolf Clan. ✦
Tumblr media
✦  Mother Kashur, Elder Shaman of the Frostwolf Clan
(Image from Warcraft: Legends)
It’s noted that: “Because of her high position of honor, her tent was second in lavishness only to that of Garad, the clan leader.” Rise of the Horde Ch.3.
Even when Durotan was asked by name by the Ancestors, Mother Kashur was astonished to think of how difficult a task it would be to be a leader and a shaman at he same time. Likely due to how being a high ranking shaman to begin with is full of responsibility already.
(The rest will be under Read More)
Mother Kashur was the Elder Shaman to the Frostwolf Clan. Her student being Drek’thar. So when Mother Kashur died during a hunt, Drek’thar then became the Elder Shaman to fill her place.
(As a side note: This makes the orcs manipulation by the Legion all the more devastating. Kil’jaeden went straight to the people the orcs were suppose to trust most. The spiritual leaders of their faith and the ones connected with their dead loved ones. Due to orcs leaning toward having customs that are very indigenous (with respect elders and a focus on animism), they used the respect they have for these Elders against them. Drek’thar, who became Elder Shaman now, had the respect and love for his teacher used against him. Kil’jaeden disguised as Mother Kashur to tell him that the draenei were in fact deceiving. The same goes for Ner’zhul, who was both Elder shaman and Chieftain. )
✦ His job was to then lead the important ceremonies for his clan. This is where it separates (for what I’ve seen so far) of who are the shaman that lead these rituals and who are the ones who are apprentices and aiding in it. It is the Elder shaman’s job to over see the Om’riggor, newborn ceremonies and leading young orcs to test and see if they have shamanic potential.
But going back to Mother Kashur for a moment, it seems that the title Mother is the title given to the spiritual women of high status. It is stated in the novel itself, that the Frostwolf Clan refer to her as Mother Reverently.
A role of caretaker, by being both elder and shaman, are deemed mother. Mother Kashur again was THE highest ranking shaman in the Frostwolf Clan. Even her own death was her choice after insisting on attending a hunt, which she had not done in years. She let herself be trampled.(The reason for her being there was the shaman role of helping distract beasts for the hunters as well as healers.)
Tumblr media
 ✦ Mother Om’ra, Shadowmoon Chieftain.
(Screenshot from Wowhead.)
This is backed up by the NPC named Mother Om’ra who walks around with the title <Chieftain> in WoD’s Shadowmoon Valley. Because little lore was given for her aside from one drop that's titled ‘Legacy of Om’ra’ we can assume she was a Shadowmoon Chieftain as well as a Shaman, especially due to her dress of wearing the matching shaman set of the wolf headdress and shoulders.
Mother Om’ra, Mother Kashur and Greatmother Geyah are all shamans with a position of leadership and/or respect. (While not an orc, I found a taunka shaman named Mother Tauranook who you are directed to speak to for a quest.
Tumblr media
✦ Greatmother Geyah, Spiritual Leader of Garadar
Greatmother Geyah, mother to Durotan and Grandmother to Thrall, assumed the position of spiritual leader to the Mag’har of Garadar.
(Garadar was the settlement in Nagrand to quarantine the orcs suffering from Red Pox. The disease that appeared 400 years ago. It was named after the Geyah’s mate Garad, who was father to Durotan and former Chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan. Here she took care of the ailing orcs who were struck with red pox.)
While the title is not Mother, Greatmother seems to be a title still of status and respect. She is also a shaman, who Thrall wanted to learn from.
She is one of the surviving orcs from a time when Durotan was Chieftain and when the orcs lived in peace among their clans with brown skin.
When she gained the position of spiritual leader of the Mag’har, Mother Kashur began visiting her in her dreams.
Varok Saurfang trusted her and the other elders to watch over his son and hid him away in Garadar, hence why he was able to remain his natural skin color.
---
✦  So we see now that the title Mother (Or Greatmother) is one of respect for orc women who became the highest rank of shaman in the clan. Now, this is probably not always the case. Customs change, clans differ and an individual may have a preference. However so far, Mother has been consistent.
It’s even stated that the Frostwolf Orcs Reverently’ addressed her as such, like mentioned earlier.
Non orcish versions would be Mother Tauranook of the Taunka. But if she is a high up leader it’s unknown. We can only infer she is important to speak to since you are instructed to go find her.
Magatha is a rare example, she is Elder Crone.
---
So now getting on the full topic of Elder we have several examples of orc shaman leaders being called Elder.
The Elder examples we can take a look at now , who did not gain a title of Mother, are Drek’thar and Ner’zhul (and others if I find). Like mentioned earlier, when Mother Kashur passed, Drek’thar took her spot as senior shaman. Meaning he was the head shaman responsible for over seeing the same things she did.
Tumblr media
✦  Ner’zhul, Chieftain of the Shadowmoon Clan
Both Drek’thar and Ner’zhul have or held the title of Chieftain. Ner’zhul was the Chieftain of the Shadowmoon Clan. He was one of most respected shaman among the orcs and known for his power. He is also titled as Elder Shaman of the Shadowmoon Clan seeing as he both Chieftain and Shaman at the same time.
To be a shaman and a leader is  extremely difficult according to Mother Kashur as noted here from the novel:
“She had not thought Durotan's feet would walk that road; it was rare that a shaman led a clan. There would be too much pulling him in each direction for him to be an effective leader. To both listen to and honor the spirits and to guide one's people well were more than most orcs could manage. One who could do both would be a remarkable orc indeed.” Rise of the Horde , Chapter 3
(While some lore about Ner’zhul has been...switched around due to the Chronicles, this statement on leadership still holds up.)
This right here states without stating it why Chieftain Ner’zhul was such a well respected orc. Not only was he a leader to the Shadowmoon, he was an effective shaman who managed to grab the attention of not just his own people but all of the orcs when speaking during the Kosh’harg. It shows how spirituality plays an important role into an orcs status and why he was so well beloved and looked to, and why his downfall is all the more tragic.
He played a pivotal role of speaking at the Kosh’harg, which was a bi-annual festival started by the Shadowmoon Clan themselves many years before his leadership.
Tumblr media
✦ Orcs rallying together 400 years before the Dark Portal
✦  Nelgarm, however, has not been stated if he was Chieftain of the Shadowmoon Clan. He has only been labeled as Elder Shaman of the Shadowmoon Clan. This is important due to his role against rallying forces against the ogres.
Nelgarm was introduced in the Chronicles: Vol II having been an orc shaman 400 years before the time of Ner’zhul. His story holds up the draw and leadership an Elder Shaman. It was his pleading at the next Kosh’harg to the orcs to join with him and push back the ogres of the Gorian Empire who were violating the Throne of the Elements with arcane. All clans rallied with him against the ogres and all of Draenor went to war. Every orc against every ogre.
The orcs were victorious when they pushed them back to the capital of Goria. It was here the capital saw the full wrath of the elements and was flattened. It was also during the time when red pox first appeared.
Nelgarm is notable for all of this. His leadership into not only rallying an army, but making it a successful one. The fall of the Gorian Empire and seeing first hand how frightening the elements were.
Yet, it did not state who was Chieftain at this time and it did not say he was Chieftain. It is highly possible he was, but until that is stated we cannot say for certain.
Tumblr media
✦ Drek’thar
Drek’tar was named Elder Shaman once his teacher, Mother Kashur, died during a clefthoof hunting party. As stated earlier, he was unfortunately met with Mother Kashur in his visions, an actual disguised Kil’jaeden, and led him to believe that the draenei were an enemy. This let him accept when Ner’zhul announced what he had been told as well. Two Elder Shaman, speakers for the Ancestors, trusted what these ancestors had to say.
As Elder Shaman,  he spoke for the right for him and his shaman to learn the ways of the Warlock, because without that, they were useless.
Drek’thar eventually in life gained the title Chieftain as well as Elder Shaman, much like Ner’zhul. During the Frostwolf exile into the Alterac Mountains is where Drek’thar ended up until Thrall appeared.
Due to Thrall’s newness of being a shaman at the time is probably why it has not been stated anywhere that he was Elder Shaman. He was Chieftain and a Shaman, but Drek’thar likely still had that role being the more experienced of the two. Once Thrall stepped down, Drek’thar resumed his position as Chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan and Elder Shaman.
(Speculation: It can almost be assumed that should Chieftains and heirs of Chieftains go missing, the Elder Shaman assumes control. Considering the fact that once Durotan and Draka disappeared with Thrall (Go’el), Drek’thar, even in his advanced age, was the one to lead the Frostwolf Clan during their exile. This, again, is an assumption.)
✦ What do Elder Shaman do?
So far we have seen that Elder Shaman have a position as close to a Chieftain as they can be if they are not already one. They are still limited in what they can do, seeing as they still need the Chieftain’s permission for some choices. One being the allowance of the shaman becoming warlock due to Durotan originally forbiding it.
The Elder Shaman is close to the Chieftain and aids in advising them. They are the primary healers on hunts. Along with other shaman who join the hunts, they aid in the distraction of animals to help the hunters in their shot.
They over see the important ceremonies. Such as newborn ceremonies where infants are handed to the father while they stand in a body of water. At the end of it, the Elder Shaman over sees the infant’s blessing by the elements.
The Elder Shaman is also responsible for over seeing the clans young ones in testing for their shamanic gifts. It can also be assumed they are overall head healers, speakers at the Kosh’harg and experts on dealing with the natural world and the shaman below them learn from the Elder Shaman.
While not stated out right, the Shaman who taste the blood at the end of an Om’riggor might be any shaman. Though, seeing this is a rite of adulthood, it can be assumed that the Elder Shaman over sees this the majority of the time. For cases like Durotan, Mother Kashur most likely over saw his Om’riggor seeing as she led him to Oshu’gun as she had done for many other orcs.
These days, due to there being less of a clan structure, it’s uncertain how Elder Shaman go about their duties. There is no complete dissolving of idenfitying to a clan heritage, so here is where some assumption has to be made as to how people access their cultural elders. The shaman who live on the premises may be able to fulfill the cultural needs of the orcs. This being shaman who live and work in Orgrimmar as well as other settlements across Azeroth. This could also exist within the family, if the Elder Shaman becomes the shaman who lives with the family now that orcs live less in nomadic clans and more in traditional family structures.
✦ Farseers
Farseer are powerful shaman who are able to do remarkable things with their gift and were among the trusted shaman close to Thrall. Drek’thar is stated in being a Farseer. Farseers can have access to the future in visions and can call upon powerful spirits like spirit wolves. However not every Farseer appears to be an Elder Shaman. But it might be possible that Farseer might be able to fulfill Elder Shaman duties...but this has not been stated anywhere and is merely a speculation due to modern times being without Chieftains.
✦ Elder Far Seer Zor Lonetree?
An orc who works in Grommash Hold, it’s not stated that he has any spiritual leadership, but he IS an Elder existing where the Warchief would be.What he does aside. However, he does seem to be there for his political knowlege of the Alliance as well as his spirtual guidance. He is noted for being well versed in it. He was able to identify jewelry being of Alliance make and access to scholars if the item that was given to him was of any importance among human nobility. What his title as an Elder and a Far Seer may also mean has yet to be found yet (by me.)
(We’re getting into a bit of fanon now, but it would not be impossible to say that orc settlements and societies in modern times have shaman living in the community still to fulfill the orcish needs of spiritluality. Especially considering the presence of “Shaman trainers” in cities among other paths. But that is pure speculation, but with the use of what is shown to us. I try to use context clues to build off anything I may not know to avoid making things up and making others go along with it.)
✦ Who can be Elder Shaman?
So far, just shaman. Of any gender identity so long as they are the apprientance to the higher ranking, pre existing, Elder Shaman who learn the traditions that they will some day be fullfilling.
They can become chieftains as well, as we’ve see, which retains the Elder Shaman status. Far seers can be Elder Shaman. We’ve also seen this title among other cultures such as tauren, draenei, even wolvar. Even in the wolvar tribes, an appointed Elder Shaman have high responsibitlies as shown by Elder Moky from WotLK.
-------
Many cultures in WoW who lean toward native traditions of shamanism seem to have the general belief system of elders being a position of respect. Be it age or position of power, the elders of ones community are to be respected.
I am sure there is more to this, and I probably missed some things as well.
There is a lot missing in understanding what some of these titles mean and how they are gained or where they come from.
And what is even worse is when a lot of the genuine looks into the world , like the novels, are subject to awful retcons and reworkings of stories. Theres plenty of books and quests I have not seen and there very well could be things I’ve missed!
Either way, I hope this long write up was interesting and helpful. I will probably be fixing typos and re-reblogging it in the future. But I’m incredibly hungry at this point!

So until then, May the Ancestors watch over you!
