Scythe did well with impersonating Moon but the only things that stood out to show the difference was the voice with it being formal than normal, the short answers to Sun as to where the normal answers are more full and Lunar not giving a response to his name.

Okay, this is one of my favourite book series!!!!! There's plenty of adventure and sci-fi for lovers of those books. Also I'm in love with Thorne

One word: CARDAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

#3.) The Sythe, The Thunderhead, and The Toll~Neal Shusterman

Can't remember what the series is called lol. But they're great. Super dystopian, where people have become immortal ;)

#4.) The Six of Crows~Leigh Bardugo

Guys, these books are super awesome. Kinda violent, but super awesome. 100% recommend.

Yes. Just yes

#6.) Throne of Glass~Sarah J. Maas

Super amazing. I love Sarah J. Maas so much.

The Captain of the Reapers

Fun facts cuz I like infodumping about these guys :

Vanta’s scythe is similar to jttw Sun Wukong’s staff in the sense that it can shift in size, this being based upon the user’s preference and magic—the scythe was originally Phantom’s (KC’s) but was passed down to Vanta after he took the role of captain following KC’s “retirement” along with the golden bird skull trinket he wears at his chest

Vanta is the second tallest of the cast at 7’5ft, the tallest being KC at 9ft—also has the second largest wingspan, the largest of course being KC

Speaking of KC; Vanta and Phantom’s relationship is still that of father and son, though it is very complicated (aka they need therapy bad)

Vanta’s first language, like Diamond (Solar), is french though his english and pronunciation is better and his transition between both languages when speaking is smoother (but at times he still slips up, especially when he’s very upset or focused)

Vanta can unhinge their jaw and they at times will eat bones whole as a snack or to put people on edge, this being based off bearded vulture behavior

Vanta is the closest with Candle (Lunar) and the BM twins (Bones & Rusty), though during the main “plot” of the au Candle and Vanta have a bit of a falling out for reasons✨ while the twins, though conflicted, stay loyal and close by Vanta’s side (he practically raised the twins in this au so they are very loyal to him)

(the reapers + the others in this au “age” in a way, though much slower than human beings and they are all still at least somewhat immortal due to being animatronics and reapers aka basically demi gods of sorts)

As friendship names go, “eclipse duo” is a gently tragic reflection of Forever and Bad’s current state of affairs.

‘Eclipse’ extends to both a lunar and solar eclipse, the shadow of one consuming the other for a time, before receding to allow light to shine once more. Ruin and reflection, bright light hidden then revealed once more. The distance between them grows like shadow as they still repeatedly try to reach out to one another, failing to recognise the compassion in the gesture due to the edge present in their words and deeds. Swords cut both ways, while scythes thrust deep and deadly into unarmored opponents. And in spite of wounds they receive, self inflicted or otherwise, they still try.

I do think that the honesty with which Forever spoke about being on the pills — that much as he had hated it, it had been the intervention needed in that moment — gave Bad pause. Forever let him see just how tired he was, let the loudness he’s been forcing since his rescue to drop, a trust that Bad wants but cannot reciprocate thanks to the equally casual admission that Forever used Dapper’s absence as a means to get Bad’s attention — for the sake of a Federation worker. As president, he placed the Federation over a fellow resident and friend, used his child to do it. Forever knew that if he could get Bad to talk, to admit to something, it would be by dropping Dapper’s name - but he did not reckon with that being what Bad has feared, has always believed to be inevitable: Bad feared which side Forever would (be forced to) choose after winning the election, and now from his (warped, paranoid) perspective, that really has come to pass. Lines crossed, if only in his own mind. No matter what Forever says from here on out, Bad cannot see them as on the same side, not any more. (They are, but they aren’t, but they are.)

They cannot cross the space between them, even as they both silently acknowledge that they care, care deeply. It’s incredibly sad, seeing the light return only as they take a step back again. Caught in one another’s gravity.

I think, I fear, there may be irreconcilable differences that will leave this friendship wounded beyond healing once all is said and done. If the Island ever lets things remain “done” - that in itself is the torture of their prison home, as the hamster wheel spins. But I do trust the players, who are clearly enjoying themselves in the midst of this muddle. (As well they should!!). I hope that this part of the ongoing story tells what they want, and sets up future paths they can explore - together and apart.

This video just gave me an idea for a somewhat cursed au.

I call it Seahorse dad au. It's an au where Eclipse is a trans man who never had bottom surgery. He accidentally got pregnant with Killcode's babies. He decided to keep the babies and would become the seahorse dad to fraternal twins, he would name the older twin, Hunter(old Bloodmoon) and the younger twin, Scythe(new Bloodmoon). Killcode wanted nothing to do with either Eclipse or their sons, so Eclipse is left being a single parent, but he luckily has the support of his siblings, Sun, Moon, Lunar(who is a trans woman in this au), and Earth.

(I got this idea when I read a comment saying that Killcode is canoniclly Bloodmoon's father, I then said "Wait, if Killcode is Bloodmoon's father and Eclipse made Bloodmoon, wouldn't that make Eclipse Bloodmoon's mother?" And that's how this cursed au came to be.)
