Feeling Thankful this morning for another day to chase my goals🙏💜✨⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Not much to report for this week's #FhysiqueUpdate with @austincarterfitness Still hovering close to the same gravitational pull and still lifting 6 days a week!! 💪🔥⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Definitely been struggling to find motivation lately like most of us. Cheers to Friday!💪🥳⁣ ⁣ Currently admirin' these gainz...⁣😍 2 weeks down, X more to go! Even though the scale hasn't moved much, if at all, I definitely feel a little different.⁣ ⁣ I wasn't sure I wanted to share much about this particular subject, considering how personal it is but, I said I would be more open with you guys, so why not?⁣ ⁣ Since I was in highschool, I have been taking daily hormonal birth control. So for the past 12 years every, single month, I have been giving my body a pill that does so much more than just shut down ovulation. It messes with your whole body, including your brain! I've read women are more likely to be prescribed antidepressants after starting the pill and I can understand why.⁣ ⁣ I've decided I am no longer going to let this pill do any more harm to my body. I care so much about my health that I just can't do it anymore. And I couldn't live in fear any longer of 'what might happen to me if I stopped taking it'. ⁣ ⁣ After some research, we decided it was time for me to give it a shot! So it's been 4 weeks since my last birth control pill and I feel way better than I expected. 1st #FHYSIQUEUPDATE of 2020 in my pretty purple @muscledazzle practice suit! 💜⁣⁣ My checkin with Coach⁣⁣ @AustinCarterFitness👇⁣⁣ .⁣⁣ Today's check-in is looking good!🔥⁣⁣ Got 5 training sessions in this week.⁣⁣ I swear I can still feel my glutes burning😅🍑⁣⁣ Completed 3 cardio sessions, keeping the incline level at 10 and walking at a brisk 3.0-3.2 for about 15-20min.⁣⁣ Weight has been steady around 128 lbs for several weeks now while we have increased my calories. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ My back and neck have been a bit stiff this past week, but I believe it's because it's time I get back in to see my favorite Doc at @Nwachiro so he can straighten things out for me.😅👐⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I honestly feel really good about my progress this week. I may not have hit some big PR's but I did enjoy some good comfort foods, managed to relax, and focus on myself and my boyfriend, which was extremely nice. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I am super happy with the results of my recovery season. We have made necessary changes to my training program and not only do I look great, I feel amazing! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Being a little fluffly honestly doesn't bother me much anymore. I used to get so nervous about posting my #checkin pics in my improvement seasons but this year, I feel completely different. I have confidence in my ability to work hard and be disciplined enough to reach my goals. So, I'm not stage lean all the time, though I like to stay about 16 weeks out while I work on recovering my body. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ While my recovery season coming to an end is truly bittersweet, I am so ready to get started smashing this season's prep!💥⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ This will be my 3rd Season competing in the @npcworldwideofficial and I couldn't be more excited to step on stage at the national level again!!! I wanted to share with you #BikiniBabes ⁣⁣ this very simple, yet elegant posing routine I made for one of my amazing clients💕⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ During our individual presentation in the @npcworldwideofficial we are asked to walk on stage alone and perform our own personal Model Walk that consists of the following:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ "Walk to the center of the stage, ⁣⁣ stop and do a front stance, ⁣⁣ then a full turn and do a back stance, ⁣⁣ then turn to the front again and face the judges as directed, then proceed to the side of the stage. No lewd acts are permitted. Coach @austincarterfitness asked for a #quarantinetransformation so I had to do a comparison pic! 💪😜 Left: 3 months ago and Right: about 10lbs later I did not realize how much progress I have actually made!! I spent several weeks just coasting through, not feeling 100% just doing my best every day to show up and get it done. For several weeks I didn't see the scale move or any change in my pictures. If y'all remember, I even stopped taking them! But when I stopped checking, when I finally just stopped looking for a change, put my head down and put in the work, it all finally started to happen. It's not one good day that gives us results. It's the collection of continued hardwork, determination to do your best each day, and consistency to the plan that makes results! BE PATIENT FRIENDS! Good things take time! #Fhysiqueupdate from this Sunday's #checkin with Coach @austincarterfitness ‼️💥⁣ ⁣ We have officially kicked off Prep for 2020🙏💜 Praying that these shows don't cancel because I really need some light in my life right about now!✨⁣ ⁣ Still hanging out at 122 lbs and lifting 6 days each week. ✨POSING TIP✨ No check-in pics for you guys this week, but a #fhysiqueupdate video instead along with a very important #BikiniPosing Tip! 📸 🌟 SPEND SOME TIME PRACTICING AWAY FROM THE MIRROR. Sometimes we rely on the mirror to make those last minute adjustments (standing up taller, angling the hips more). The mirror will not be there for reference when you get on stage. Get used to the FEELING of hitting your poses correctly. Take a video of yourself and make notes of any fixes! NEED HELP?
