Natural Turf vs. Artificial Grass: Battling the Urban Heat Island Effect in the Low Desert
The low desert region faces the challenges of the urban heat island effect, where urban areas experience significantly higher temperatures than surrounding rural areas due to human activities and the built environment. As we strive to mitigate this heat island effect, one key consideration is the choice between natural turf and artificial grass. Both options have their own advantages and…

One thing I’m realizing is if you don’t already have healthy hair, it’s hard to pull curls off regardless of your routine. Like I just did my usual lengthy curly hair steps (detangle while soaking wet, leave-in, curl cream, mousse, and gel—all w products I’ve either been using for a minute or products I researched at length) but my curls still didn’t come out as curly as they usually do. And a big part of that is I haven’t done any hours long hair masks w shower caps on for a minute, I haven’t been doing deep clarifying sessions like I usually did, and bc I already started w a base of curls that was frizzy the end result wasn’t as bouncy and defined as it usually is when I do go the whole nine yards. So like literally the first step to defined curls (or hair in general tbh) w volume is having good hair care. The rest follows but I don’t think a solid routine will save u if u don’t already start w something healthy.

Environmental activist Grover vs Annabeth "this is a nice plot of land to build upon" Chase
(she does not like the complications of nature infused architecture and he does not think her approach to architecture and construction is sustainable enough so they always end up yelling at each other)

Whew look at you go! Had a small problem with aphids a lil while back, but after a whole lot of diligence they were banished. Still have some of the damaged leaves visible but look at all the healthy new growth!
You may be trying to take over my desk, but I couldn’t ask for a better art companion. The moss in the planter is happy with the frequent watering and shade, but the impatiens is trying to devoir the terrarium moss now too
My oxalis is thriving still, too. But it has its own space above me and isn’t trying to reach out and say hello as much.
Okay, this has been your semi annual habitat update. Back to painting.
Also, hello new followers! Thank you for liking my art.

As your robot's engineer/technician(/partner), helping them pick out just the right shade of anodized titanium bolts is the step up from picking out lingerie together.
Gently running bottoming taps through their threaded holes to clean them out/up is the maintenance equivelant of cleaning another human's ears.
Adding blue loctite for restrictive play, red loctite for permanent restrictive play (but still having a blowtorch on hand for emergencies).
The best practices for engagement/marriage are pretty variable, but often involve polishing/recoating their endoskeleton, creating a beautiful new polished and anodized/plated/chromed/damascened set of exterior plates (or rarely a 'normal' wedding dress/suit.), and finally a beautiful set of Poly Crystaline Diamond (PCD) rings.

I imagine ulixes and Required Reading to be like that guy who translated ancient Mayan and his cat. Yuri Knorozov. Yeah
Man pulls up to your local debate club armed with an encyclopaedic knowledge of inframaterialism and a cat who he strokes on his lap like a mob boss wyd

Added a short warning on the pinned post of my blog - I've realised that while in general I don't post anything particularly explicit, I rutinely discuss media that have well-earned 18+ restrictions, and my reblogs may sometimes include some adult humor? So, just to be safe and for everyone to be on the same page, I've noted it in my pinned post.
Also, quite a lot of my art has characters covered in blood, so you know. I wouldn't exactly call myself a paragon of family-friendly media.

what’s your favourite video game :)
oh wow, someone else who who plays video games!
yeah, I have a few! When I moved up here I was only allowed to take a few things, but I managed to bring a hard drive just full with like, old, classical games. You do not wanna know how much it cost me, but most of them [besides a few corrupted ones :( ] work fine when emulated.
But, yeah! Favourite game definitely changes, but probably the Oldest Scrolls series? Even though they made about 16 different versions of the fifth instalment which - when you’re trawling through these ancient file directories - can be irritating and confusing. Still I have hours and hours sunk into it. Infact, I can find the exact amount, if you give me two moments.

If you became super rich and could design your own house, but could only add THREE unnecessary/random/expensive home additions (like how people will have bowling alleys, movie theatres, closets with museums of shoes, car display rooms, spa rooms, wine cellars, etc. in their mansions) - what three would you choose?

i really want the audio technica lp120 bc that’s the one my ex had and it was great but that’s $350 for just the turntable whereas with the lp60 i could get the turntable + a set of speakers for around $250 especially if i get a refurbished one off the audio technica website … hmmm i know i could just wait and put aside money to get the lp120 + speakers but idk how long my shitty player is going to last now that the stylus is being held together by electrical tape.

Might have gotten myself a spot in the crusty ww2 era little plane maintenance hangar I've been eyeing <3
Wont make much, but it's gonna be lots more enjoyable than the big jet engine shop, or any of the airlines. At least I know exactly what I'm getting myself into with this. Only issue is the flight school with my favorite little 172 is a 3 minute walk from the maintenance hangar. I would be in extreme danger every time the sky zoomies start itching >w>
