this might not be your normal speed of answering asks but my name is madison, and my theatre company and the arts at my school are struggling.

due to federal cuts, a lot of schools across Oregon and the rest of the states are facing budget cuts and transferring of teachers and staff. due to the fact that our theatre teacher is being transferred and at the moment she will not be replaced in the future, we won’t have any theatre classes and the theatre company we worked so hard to build will be gone in an instant. we won’t have any productions, none of that connection we used to, on top of that, theatre was a lot of people’s career college pathway, and with it going away, many juniors and sophomores don’t know how they’ll be able to graduate.
