Markiplier X Death Stranding just because I can

OK SO-

This idea came from the thought of Mark’s stomach scar and how Sam and Cliff had stomach scars as well. IT WAS PURE BRAINROT, I posted some sketches over on twitter and people really liked it, which was a response I did not expect. So I decided to do some art of this au and bring it to you, here on tumblr dot com :)  I call it Stranded With Markiplier! :D

I’ll be putting the sketches underneath the cut as well as the headcanons I have if you’re interested. However if you’re not- since I know the public opinion of this game is 50/50- then I hope you enjoyed the art anyways <3

NOTE: I’m going to be using the lore and terms heavily from the game. If you haven’t played or watched the gameplay you might be confused.  

Damien Porter Bridges

Damien was a porter working under the commands of America’s final president, President Marcus Strand. His job as a porter exposed him to various effects of chiralium which enhanced his DOOMs to a significant level, making him a successful and reliable porter. He disliked Marcus but after being persuaded by Marcus’ brother Mark, he decided to play his role to bring the community of UCA together and connect the cities to the chiral network.

After President Marcus dies under mysterious circumstances, he was tasked with taking the body to the incinerator. During incineration, chiralium levels spiked through the roof and attracted BTs to his position. He was caught in a voidout and died. In the seam, he learned that Mark and Marcus were actually the same person, and Mark had the powers to repatriate souls back to the land of the living. He was repatriated and was tasked by Mark once again to continue building the chiral network. With the knew formed knowledge that the chiral network was built to facilitate extinction, and being stuck in a body that cannot die, he despises Mark and sought out to be the antagonist of Bridges. Calling Mark the “Actor” for playing hero, he pledges to be the “Villain” to bring Bridges down once and for all  

Wilford, MULE leader

I originally planned that Wil is just a porter turned rouge, but then I had a better (heartbreaking) idea.

William was a porter working with a different courier service called Memento Express. He started dating Damien’s twin sister Celine soon after she got divorced from her previous husband, the president himself. Working as a porter also meant that he was exposed to high levels of chiralium, making his DOOMs level higher than average. He used his powers to teleport to and from the beach to deliver shipments, but chiralium exposure was not great on his mental health.

During arrival to send one particular shipment, he realised that his container had been tampered and decided to check inside. Inside was a nuclear bomb that was set to detonate in merely minutes after arriving at its destination. Panicked and scared, he left the container and teleported out without telling anybody, causing the bomb to wipe out the whole entire city. His name and reputation were tarnished as people around called him a murderer. The stress built up caused him to develop porter syndrome thus turning him into a MULE. Just wanting to prove his innocence and reliability as a porter, he lost himself to the madness and became leader of the MULEs under a new name, Wilford.

Memento Express. The courier service Wilford worked for. :)  

I headcanon Celine as a combination of Deadman, Heartman and Mama. A brilliant coroner whose obsession towards the dead led her to life of isolation which led her to leave and divorce her husband. She did all of that to research the Death Stranding as well as to make sense of his brother’s ability as a repatriate. After she left Wilford who became a MULE, she stayed behind at Bridges corpse department for research, and studies her own beach (as well as others) by using her DOOMs since her beach is connected to Damien’s. She gained the nickname “The Seer” for helping Bridges Expedition 1 avoid BTs. People claim she could foresee the future to avoid BTs, a claim she was fond of and the nickname stuck.

I did all of this for fun and no way in hell have a plan for anything with this au. Like I said it’s all brainrot sjksjkhshk. ANYWAYS if you made it this far I hope you liked it and ily <3

mirror | void (part four)

Summary: Dark, on impulse, takes the mirror from Markiplier Manor. He hadn’t expected it to still be occupied.

Pairing: Damien x DA (ambiguous), Darkiplier x DA (also ambiguous?)

Warnings: gender-neutral and vaguely described DA; reference to death, injury; depersonalization and identity crisis issues

He stays in the physical world for a period of measurable time, for once, with no return trips to the void. A few months, maybe— he seems to no longer have a frame of reference.

Physical transportation is slow and clumsy, and humans ask too many questions of him wherever he goes, when they don’t actively avoid him.

When did he stop thinking of himself as human, too?

(Somewhere between his connection to the shapeless void and possession of a body that doesn’t change, he imagines.

Splitting into disparate fragments if ever he gets too emotional doesn’t help.)

He doesn’t like it, but he likes the mirror even less, and it’s sure to be awaiting him. He’ll have to return eventually, but he isn’t certain which he dreads more: the shadow being there, or not.

Yes, dread. He can admit to that.

Something about those eyes...

It’s staring him down.

He’s been back for what seems like very little time at all, drinking in the odd, temperate comfort of nothing all around him, and the figure in the mirror showed almost immediately.

The edges are sharper in the glass: less shadow, more silhouette. If he looks closely, he can make out the wrinkles of a shirt, the individual strands of unruly hair springing out of style.

It doesn’t move as he does, follow him like a reflection would, but it’s so distinctly human, shifting weight from side to side, fidgeting with clothes or hair or hands. Even with all of this motion, without the fiery embers for eyes, the head seems trained on him; if he moves, the head does, just enough to follow.

Thankfully, the definition falters nearly as fast as it arrived, melting at first into shadow and then into formless, near-invisible smoke.

“Did you get enough of my pretty face?” He snarks, once words have returned to him. “Or was it something else?”

The smoke twirls a bit, but doesn’t solidify.

“Of course you won’t talk. Typical.” The bitterness sits wrong, for once, on his tongue, and he can’t restrain a grimace. “However,” he continues, haltingly, “if... if you wanted to.”

He doesn’t know why he offers.

(It’s them, a voice insists, his but not, somewhere deep inside, faint as the smoke in the mirror. Please, I just want—)

There’s a reason they’re in that mirror, whatever it is, and he only sees two real options:

It’s the entity in the walls, the foul being that watched, gleefully, as it corrupted and destroyed everyone he ever truly loved; the leftover part that didn’t sneak inside to hold him together like glue resides there, and it deserves this as a final prison.

Or...

Or, if he listens to that minuscule shred of goodwill he still has, so quiet but so familiar—

It’s a person with the brightest soul he’s ever encountered, a little hot-blooded at times but searching for truth and justice— the real kind— with every action they take, someone Damien loved beyond measure, regardless of form—

— the kind of person who would only get in his way if they remained free.

Whatever the reason, whatever the shade really is, giving it a voice to torment him further is the last thing he wants.

He’ll never have a moment’s peace— not that he’s had many of those, especially recently.

Yet... “I could help you. If you’d trust me.”

The smoke coalesces, just a touch, into something that smashes into the glass from the other side. The entire mirror rattles, glass and frame, alike, and another few cracks splinter away from the impact site.

It’s gone immediately afterwards.

He scoffs, turning his attention back to Mark’s last known whereabouts; even so, his shredded stomach sinks.

Yes. It’s them.

And they are deeply unhappy.

No, not unhappy— angry.

With him.

in this time of quarantines, I have been inspired by Mark and Jack to give back to my community. Since I don’t have a lot of money and cannot donate without possibly taking a hit to my food and utility budgets, I want to give back by writing.

I’ve turned back to reading oneshots on Tumblr and AO3, and I know I haven’t been consistent with my content, so this is a chance to just send me asks and requests. A/N: Oh my god, I’m back with yet another Riverdale one shot! Hey guys, it’s Levi’s Lover! Hugs and kisses for all of you! Just wanted to say, my last one shot was a Reggie x reader, but today, it’s Jughead x reader! And, last but not least, make sure to check our other work. This blog is run by both Triple T and I. Jughead x female reader (’member, if you want, change any descriptions for your preference)

Basics: (Y/N)= your name     (E/C)= eye color

    “But you promised.”

    “I know but, something came up, and I don’t think I can make it. I’m sorry.” The raven-haired boy lowers his gaze, not being able to meet (Y/N)’s gaze, knowing that if he did, her (E/C) eyes would be watching him, disappointed. She nods, pressing her lips into a thin line, “Okay, maybe next time?” Jughead gingerly nods.

    “Bye, see you next week.” He doesn’t respond, instead, he shuts his locker, and begins in the opposite direction of the hall. He’s not coming next week either, is he?

    “I don’t care, I don’t need Jughead to watch a movie. I’m fine by myself.” Balancing a large bowl of popcorn in one hand, and a can of cola in the other, (Y/N) cautiously lowers them onto the glass surface of the coffee table before flopping back on the couch. 

    “I don’t need him.” She mumbles.

    Making sure to skip ahead to the main menu, she presses play.

    As the movie commences, (Y/N) finds herself thinking of other things, despite her best efforts. 

   “I bet, John, will end up being the spy.” The pair sat completely immersed in the ongoing drama displayed on the screen, not even pausing to blink. Sure enough, Jughead was right. “How do you do that?”

    Pulling an awkward face and terrible posh accent, he chuckles, “Elementary my dear.”

    “Can you teach me?”

    “No, only the chosen one can hold this valuable information. If this were to somehow leak, it could destroy the world as we know it!”

    (Y/N) rolls her eyes, lightly shoving his shoulder. The two chuckle, “Oh shut up.”

    “I’m serious! If I told you, I’d have to kill you.”

    “It’s worth it!”

    Jughead smirks, slowly leaning towards her, his warm breath fanned across her ear. “The secret is...” Silence. She heard nothing besides his steady breathing. Turning her head, she became confused at his sudden pause.

    “What is it?” She wonders.

    “You have to catch me to find out.”

    And with that, Jughead was on his feet, racing through the house. 

    “That’s not fair!”

    She smiles fondly at the memory. That was the first she knew, Jughead could never be her friend.

    “I like, Jughead Jones the third.”

                                                     ~~~~

    “Hi, Jug!”

    “Hey, (Y/N).” 

    Skipping ahead to meet him, she beamed at the boy.

    “Can I talk to you during lunch?”

    “Sure.”

    “Thanks, meet me by the soccer field. It’s important.”

    He nods, turning to go to his next class. She watches his receding figure, a content smile on her face, “I’m going to tell him.”

    The light wind blew the bright green strands of grass, the singing of birds flew overhead, and the sun was as bright as ever. It seemed this day couldn’t be ruined. Everything was perfect.

    Leaning on the metal goal post, (Y/N) watches the birds. Some flying, others hopping around the ground in search of food. Her (E/C) eyes scanned the field, no sign of Jughead. She sighed, lowering her head, a small frown fell upon her lips, “It’s getting late, I should probably head back.”  

    Just as she was about to give up, a tall figure came jogging her way. “Sorry I’m late, I was kind of busy with the paper. What is it you wanted to talk about?” His breath was slightly shaky, showing that he had been in a rush. 

    “Oh, I was just...” Her words trailed off, suddenly nervous. His dark eyes stare at her expectantly.

    She quickly shakes her head, stumbling on her words,“Just wondering what you’ve been so busy doing. I mean, we haven’t had any movie nights in a month.” 

    Jughead presses his lips into a thin line, “About that, I’ve been meaning to tell you... I’m dating Betty.”

    Silence. (Y/N) simply stares at him, unable to comprehend his words. “You’re what?”

    “I haven’t been able to hang out with you because I’ve been spending some time with Betty. Sorry about that. If you want, we can watch a movie next Friday.”

    She clears her suddenly dry throat, forcing the warm fluid in her eyes to remain in position. “No, it’s cool. You want to spend time with your girlfriend, I get it. I’m sorry if I’ve been a burden.”

    “What are you saying? You haven’t been a burden, I’m the one who should be apologizing for this.”

    “It’s fine, Jughead.”
